[0:02][Applause] [Music] how did the holy prophet Muhammad s perform his fast

[0:27]in the holy month of Ramadan the of Muhammad s wasallam includes

[0:33]his practices during this lifetime which are considered special and important for

[0:38]us all to emulate and follow this is because the Quran instructs

[0:41]us all to do this indeed in the messenger of Allah you

[0:56]have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the

[1:03]last day and remembers Allah often in terms of what he did

[1:06]during the holy month of Ramadan here are eight from narrations found

[1:10]in books of our number one SB narrates that when the holy

[1:17]month of Ramadan would enter the color and the complexion of the

[1:20]holy prophet peace be upon him and his family would change IE

[1:22]it would become more pale his prayers would increase he would sincerely

[1:29]devout himself in supplication and and he would feel a deep sense

[1:33]of fear and awe of the Blessed month number two shei narrates

[1:37]that it was the practice of the holy prophet Muhammad sallallah alai

[1:43]wasallam to personally observe the sighting of the new moon and actively

[1:48]seek to see it he would take the responsibility of looking for

[1:52]the Crescent himself he would recite the Dua when he would see

[1:56]it number three according to when the month of RAM would enter

[2:03]the messenger of Allah s alai wasallam would release every prisoner and

[2:07]give to every beggar this highlights the importance of Charity and helping

[2:13]others from the beginning of the holy month four narrates that at

[2:19]the time of the holy prophet sallam used to recite this Dua

[2:30]oh Allah for you we have fasted and upon your sustenance we

[2:35]break our fast so accept it from us The Thirst is gone

[2:40]the veins are moistened and the reward is certain number five several

[2:44]narrations from the state that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to

[2:50]break his fast with dates and if not available then something sweet

[2:54]and if not available then with warm water sometimes he would break

[2:58]his fast with raisins number six IM aliam in a narration is

[3:04]reported to have said when the prophet Muhammad s wasam wanted to

[3:08]break his fast he would order me to open the door for

[3:11]those who came to share in thear number seven narrates have said

[3:20]that it's recommended to have pre- meal even if it's just a

[3:23]drink of water it is also reported that the best is dates

[3:29]and which is is a type of flower since the messenger of

[3:34]Allah s alai wasallam used to have these in his narrates that

[3:39]the prophet sallai wasallam used to eat Hara more than anything else

[3:44]and would have it for harisa is a porridge type of food

[3:51]made from oats or barley number eight IM aliam reported that the

[3:54]messenger of Allah sallallah alaih wasallam would fold his bed and tighten

[3:59]his belt during the last 10 days of Ramadan he would wake

[4:01]up his family on the night of the 23rd and even sprinkle

[4:07]water on the faces of the sleeping during that night other narrations

[4:11]say that the prophet did in the last 10 nights of the

[4:16]month of Ramadan may Allah subhah wa ta'ala grant us the opportunity

[4:21]to follow in his footsteps in this blessed month [Music]
