[5:01]worldwide MH hopefully uh reaching out to all of our supporters uh
[5:08]the wellwishers I think it's been a period in which a lot
[5:12]of people uh having seen where a lot of our money goes
[5:15]a person reflects um and maybe says that we should uh start
[5:19]producing from within now you know there's a lot of products where
[5:21]the money is going elsewhere M um there's a lot of people
[5:26]out there who we have as the most talented individuals in our
[5:29]community and maybe should start supporting uh those within our own so
[5:34]myself and uh others you know I think there's a lot of
[5:40]good work being done out there um and I hope everyone enjoys
[5:43]the collection you know so I look forward to it and you'll
[5:48]have your hoodie soon in in a small or medium double XO
[5:52]please say double XO but say you've probably arguably you've had the
[5:58]most viewed content in Shia media you know um with the question
[6:03]and answers you've been doing with the dialogues you've been doing the
[6:07]lectures not forgetting the Shia voice you know judging on there and
[6:10]so forth so this Ramadan how has it been for you alhamdulillah
[6:14]honestly you thank God that you're even able to uh be privy
[6:20]to another holy month of Ramadan you know you're you're thanking God
[6:23]that you're alive for another month of holy Ramadan MH have always
[6:27]been amazing um after what seemed like a steady start it just
[6:30]exploded um and I've got people from all parts of the world
[6:35]messaging about who they feel should win and all of you make
[6:37]sure you get your tickets for April the 5th as well you
[6:41]know um that's a great opportunity for everybody out there uh to
[6:44]come to the Shia Voice final in Birmingham uh where it's going
[6:48]to be an intense final I know the semi-finals are going to
[6:51]be aired of course from tomorrow night uh so you know we've
[6:55]we've had a great time of course the Shia voice was filmed
[6:59]a couple months ago um and all that's left is the final
[7:02]on April the 5th so that's been amazing um Birmingham was amazing
[7:09]you know the ab Islamic Center that was amazing and alhamdulillah um
[7:12]we had a donor who donated $100,000 to the Birmingham mosque project
[7:19]I'm super happy to announce that you know um I had spoken
[7:25]with somebody in the community and and said that I had you
[7:26]know gone to the mosque and so on and he said to
[7:29]me well you know I'd love to support and so on and
[7:33]they gave 100,000 so you know thumbs up and shout out to
[7:36]the AL Abbas Islamic Center in Birmingham and uh of course last
[7:42]but not least all these behind me and IM Hussein TV it's
[7:46]been it's been wonderful it's been um exhilarating stuff uh edge of
[7:53]the seat stuff indeed you know I think um when I've seen
[7:57]all these memes go around the world of some of my facial
[8:00]EX s uh you know people being sent messages about you know
[8:06]how passionate things have been behind the scenes but the work behind
[8:10]the scenes the team behind the scenes have been unbelievable um the
[8:14]topics have been great the feedback you know the the rise of
[8:18]uh passionate Shia who are proud of their identity who know their
[8:23]literature yeah and that's the aim of this whole series the aim
[8:27]is that people are aware of uh um their reading of Islamic
[8:31]history um and hopefully others who are not Shia are also aware
[8:36]of why we believe in certain things and you know these books
[8:39]have being super helpful and you guys behind the scenes as well
[8:43]who maybe don't get the credit that you deserve you know I
[8:46]I thank each and every one of you for the hard work
[8:51]over the past um 23 Nights 24 nights or so fantastic yeah
[8:54]saying that when you started you know the series this Ramadan the
[8:58]production of a certain muawiya series documentary film whatever it is your
[9:04]take on it was very different I mean a lot of people
[9:07]would have been against it a lot of people would be like
[9:08]what is this propaganda but yours was more of you know different
[9:14]towards uh you know what what the average Community member would have
[9:17]assumed could you explain your opinion and your view and why do
[9:20]you have that view of the muaa series yeah the MUA series
[9:25]broadcast on NBC hundred million do being spent on it I think
[9:27]if it was the me of a few years ago I would
[9:30]have straight away just had a reactionary uh type of reply and
[9:36]that would be oh muawiya is this mua is that and so
[9:38]on so forth um my my world view now is there is
[9:44]no problem if somebody wants to make a film depicting muawiya okay
[9:48]um in a positive light because that's what it says in their
[9:54]sources I cannot force my reading of Islamic history onto them mhm
[9:58]if I uh do not like muawiya and I'm quite open that
[10:05]I don't like him um other Muslims do and we have to
[10:07]respect the fact that everybody has the right to depict history in
[10:10]the way uh they want to um when therefore I have a
[10:18]film about you know for example or there's a film about s
[10:21]or a film about fed or a film about the prophet's life
[10:25]then you know don't go out and demonstrate all over Cinemas in
[10:28]the UK and say why can't you have this why can we
[10:31]have this you you don't have a monopoly on Islamic history many
[10:38]sh in the past if somebody in the Sunni Community gave their
[10:43]version of a reading of History the Shia would reply now I
[10:46]don't see as a reply I say you do your thing and
[10:49]you're more than entitled to do your thing and that's a reading
[10:54]of Islam and it has valid sources behind it and I have
[10:57]my reading of the religion and I should be entitled to uh
[11:03]present it and I should be entitled to discuss it so if
[11:06]somebody wants to say abuali is a for example no but it's
[11:10]okay wait wait wait wait don't react abuali is a that is
[11:17]the opinion of a particular reading of a school of Islam that's
[11:20]their reading I reject it but they have every right to reach
[11:24]whatever conclusion they want they have their I have mine true they
[11:29]have their grave I have mine I can present Abu Talib as
[11:34]the mmin that I know him but if they want to present
[11:35]Abu Talib as a disbeliever I'm not going to cause a HHA
[11:41]let them present him they have a reading and I have a
[11:47]reading so the Shia have to in my opinion this is my
[11:53]theory have to move towards a direction where they say that your
[11:56]reading is one of the possible readings of of Islam and that
[12:00]we have a reading and whoever you slander if you want to
[12:05]slander somebody we may love that person but we're not going to
[12:08]be antagonized by you slandering them but also if we don't like
[12:10]somebody please don't get antagonized we also have a valid reading of
[12:13]history I mean say now with the lady FAA film that was
[12:18]there there was a lot of controversy there was a lot of
[12:22]what they called FNA uh same with this one with with the
[12:24]MUA you can understand why certain groups would be upset alar University
[12:28]I think Al wanted it banned yes I mean why why do
[12:31]you think they'd want it banned you want the public reason or
[12:34]what I think is the real reason how about both how about
[12:37]both let's start with the public one which was what available on
[12:40]on online or whatever and then what you think is the real
[12:44]I think the public reason for why they don't want this mua
[12:48]film why alar is so unhappy with this film is the public
[12:53]reason is because of the depiction of the faces okay of Companions
[12:58]of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi Al okay okay the private reason
[13:05]or the real reason I think is because they are angry that
[13:11]muawiya's role in Islamic history and the early fitan and dissension in
[13:17]early Islamic history and the Schism where the companions were killing each
[13:21]other MH has all been finally made public oh you got to
[13:28]understand in the sunny world do you know and I know said
[13:30]average Sunni you ask him what's sa average Sun hasn't got a
[13:35]clue what's sa what's jaml haven't got a clue about these Civil
[13:38]Wars that's why they have to rely on these guys who do
[13:43]debates on YouTube they have to rely on these guys because when
[13:46]they asked the question that how Coulda fight Ali MH or how
[13:50]could mua raise an army to fight Ali if you just replied
[13:55]that mua wanted revenge or mua wanted to find the killers of
[13:58]his cousin yeah but he's fighting somebody who the prophet peace be
[14:03]upon has guaranteed J MH and he's killed somebody like his army
[14:07]has been responsible I think why Alazar is really triggered and they
[14:13]are unhappy that this film has been released is because now your
[14:17]average Sunni if when they watch this film more so of course
[14:22]in the Middle East I think they're going to be asking questions
[14:25]saying did mu fight Ali wait Ali is guaranteed J Ali is
[14:31]the fourth cff love of Ali is Faith hatred of him is
[14:34]hypocrisy Ali is the one who the prophet said so if we
[14:38]don't say the word MOA means anything to do with guardianship or
[14:41]authority it still means friend so to fight the friend of someone
[14:45]who said if it means friend you're fighting the friend of if
[14:50]mu has got away with all of this who else got away
[14:56]with fighting yeah I think that the Sunni World in many cases
[15:01]is super unhappy like alar and alar you know the Sunni world
[15:04]hierarch is not like the Shia world so in the Shia world
[15:10]the hierarchy is always very clear that it's um Sunni world you
[15:15]can't say that everybody follows a in called so and so or
[15:19]everybody follows a in Medina called mu so and so no yes
[15:25]Alina alar these are centers of learning no doubt but in the
[15:28]Sunni world the high is not exactly the same so even when
[15:31]alar says that we don't like this too much I don't think
[15:33]anyone cares okay but I think alar cares why because no one
[15:39]thing that Sunni Islam part of part of its Evolution while the
[15:44]companions are raised so high the suspension of discussions concerning Companions and
[15:49]the suspension of judgments on the behavior and the actions of the
[15:54]companions is part of there was actually an early group called The
[15:59]they suspended judgment when they saw companions fight each other someone who
[16:04]says and all the companions are rightous you come back to them
[16:08]and you're like hold on a minute if they're all righteous and
[16:10]they all love each other there's like at least 25,000 deaths between
[16:15]Companions and 25 years after the prophet peace be upon his family
[16:22]has died so when you make a film on mu average sun
[16:24]was having AAR at home and was watching it's like wait a
[16:29]minute I thought was the most golden generation and that's the best
[16:34]one that's ever been there and then all of a sudden they
[16:40]look at what do they say say the all of them are
[16:44]either fighting against each other wanting each other Dead killing each other
[16:50]banishing each other working under corrupt cffs silence against corrupt cffs and
[16:56]I think that's the main reason they abhor the idea of a
[17:02]film on mua film for example on which NBC did show um
[17:07]a couple of years back they were more than happy with that
[17:10]because after the prophet dies you don't need to really show the
[17:14]back and forth between him and and then he dies and there
[17:19]isn't really a j or a Oran whereas mu mu opens doors
[17:25]that the Sunni world for years tried to close see and the
[17:29]Sunni world still cannot give you answers they give you different readings
[17:31]but they can't give you one answer as to there are some
[17:34]sunnis you'll meet say mua is a companion you must respect him
[17:40]others who say muaah is not that great but he still met
[17:42]the prophet others who say muaah was one of the biggest trouble
[17:45]makers that so even Sunni world we can't generalize and say each
[17:50]of them adors or loves mua but yeah I could see why
[17:53]wouldn't want something like that to be out y some have called
[17:59]this your Paradigm Shift of of two readings yeah yeah is a
[18:03]paradigm shift I believe it I believe I believe part of the
[18:08]paradigm shift is to accept um as a general statement that there's
[18:11]two readings of the last 14400 years of Islamic history the Sunni
[18:16]reading and the Shia reading of course we can break both of
[18:19]them down into sub readings and even more Sub sub readings but
[18:24]generally there's a Sunni reading of the last 1400 years and the
[18:27]Sunni reading cannot monopolize the reading sometimes when people think Islam they
[18:30]think Sunni Islam no there's a Sunni Narrative of the last 1400
[18:35]years and the Shia Narrative of the last 1400 years our Sunni
[18:37]uh Brethren they have every right to have a reading depending on
[18:40]these sources that they admire these sources that are so important for
[18:47]them I also have been around for 1400 years or 1326 1311
[18:50]1371 whatever you want to do whatever you want to say we're
[18:56]still firmly early in Islamic history and so because of that my
[19:00]paradigm shift is to say instead of Shia always reacting to what
[19:03]sunnis think is to say that there's a reading we have a
[19:07]reading we may not like certain people you cannot force who you
[19:10]like on us and we cannot force who we like on them
[19:15]yeah say also you reject the uh Sunni Islam as a normative
[19:20]Islam or the Islam that is apparent and promoted yeah I I
[19:24]reject the whole concept that's you know been pushed for over a
[19:27]thousand years and that is that Sunni Islam is normative Islam I
[19:32]I I see that as um as nonsense in all honesty um
[19:35]the earliest sex and Islam all all all have a particular narrative
[19:41]and all have a particular right um for their Theology and for
[19:45]their laws to be respected and I'm even going to add to
[19:51]that the kites while I reject the karaji worldview the kites are
[19:55]early the are early the sh are early whether you want to
[20:02]call the Shia and you want to say they're too early and
[20:05]so on and so forth the reality remains that sh early kites
[20:13]are early the are early the Early of course the are early
[20:17]to say that Sunni Islam is normative Islam even Sunni Islam as
[20:23]I showed in my episodes Sunni Islam can't even decide for itself
[20:27]which way to follow there are some say to you what are
[20:31]you say and what are you I'm what are you I'm but
[20:35]publicly you'll see everybody praise like this in Jama but one is
[20:41]very ready to slander the other a Sala will not have a
[20:43]problem as some of their sh we showed s will not have
[20:49]a problem seeing somebody and saying that your path is completely the
[20:52]wrong I just want to ask the Sunni world Listen are all
[20:58]your readings valid well if you have have 10 different readings if
[21:06]you have all these different readings and you're okay with it so
[21:10]what's wrong with me having a different reading they're like no no
[21:14]no no because you guys don't respect the so it all comes
[21:16]down to respect of the companions that's all it comes down to
[21:20]you know what I mean the only reason they'll do on some
[21:24]sh some not all is because they'll say you don't respect the
[21:27]companions well even you guys the number of different readings you have
[21:30]that's in thought yes and the number of different readings that the
[21:35]Sunni world has when it comes to law you know you often
[21:38]hear Hani Maliki sha those aren't the only schools of law those
[21:43]are what got canonized okay as the main schools of law otherwise
[21:50]there were number of schools of law with different people giving their
[21:53]own school and their own opinion about what is it that represents
[21:57]the Law of so this nonsense that Sunni Islam is normative Islam
[22:04]it's it's unbelievable Sunni Islam is not normative Islam on the contrary
[22:09]um all these early different groupings even Sunni and Shia what we
[22:14]know today these all their crystallization of their theologies do not occur
[22:22]straight away um there are still kingships and calipat and who allows
[22:26]what to be canonized is the Quran Eternal or is it created
[22:30]suddenly is pro is anti you know and all at that time
[22:36]what is this this is all Sunni thought Ahmed is still trying
[22:41]to canonize what Sunni thought is but at the same time is
[22:44]you know it's just Sunni Islam when you break it down you
[22:48]cannot get a clear picture of whether Allah has a body According
[22:53]to some Allah doesn't have a body according to others whether Allah
[22:57]is Bewitched according to or isn't Bewitched whether the Quran has many
[23:02]different copies or one copy I still can't get my head around
[23:07]it and I just wanted our people to be aware of this
[23:09]that you know don't look at it when they say we are
[23:11]Sunni that everybody is the same and everybody agrees with each other
[23:13]the number breakdowns I can have within Sunni Theology and law we
[23:21]could go all year not all night yeah fantastic just quick reminder
[23:23]to all the viewers that we are taking in your questions if
[23:25]you have any questions you like to send in the numbers over
[23:28]they're just below me you can send in your questions via WhatsApp
[23:31]and inshallah the S will answer your queries here's a question coming
[23:37]in say is from Ali in Australia the Shia pride has grown
[23:41]exp exponentially especially in your last couple of Seasons many youth now
[23:45]proud of the Shia online display of it why do you think
[23:47]this has happened well you know I I think that a lot
[23:52]of our youth were facing a backlash internally and externally internally there
[23:58]were people who were beginning to raise well I thought were valid
[24:01]questions in all honesty um and some of our youths were not
[24:05]able to answer these questions the mosques unfortunately did not catch up
[24:10]to the intensity of the dialogues and the debates that were taking
[24:15]place um in in in the online Arena um also at the
[24:26]same time many of our books were being scrutinized so internally we
[24:31]had people who are raising questions externally there's always been people who
[24:37]raise questions in the past as I said the Shia would be
[24:39]on the back foot how do I defend how do I defend
[24:42]how do I defend so if you look at last year's series
[24:48]last year's series I'm more focused on proving Shia beliefs from Sunni
[24:51]literature okay this year I decid I'm just going to go straight
[24:56]into the Sunni Creed so instead of us focusing on what we
[24:58]no let's see what you believe let's see your origin let's see
[25:01]what where you've stemmed from let's see your because I'm not understanding
[25:05]your God puts his foot in hell now someone might turn around
[25:10]and say that's only the salafis No No salais are called Sunni
[25:13]this one's called Sunni this one's called Sunni these are all not
[25:18]so you can't say your opinion is better than their opinion because
[25:20]the day you move from Sak to anyone being able to lead
[25:23]the Muslim Community it meant that everybody's opinion was valid within your
[25:27]school so what I feel was that many of the Shia in
[25:32]our communities part of it was that they were being attacked online
[25:36]and they were looking for someone to give them the answers part
[25:41]of it was the typical sh pragmatism that's always existed that look
[25:45]we're a minority it's better that we don't discuss these things because
[25:49]when we discuss these things it's going to get us into more
[25:51]difficulties I always say that there are principles in the Quran which
[25:57]we can follow about these issues and we will come to them
[26:00]I'm sure and it's very important for us to realize that we
[26:05]can either remain silent on certain issues or lose our our is
[26:09]an between us and Allah it's something binding it's a contract that
[26:13]connects us with Allah subhana wa ta'ala that a cannot be broken
[26:20]and a person can talk about all other subjects that they want
[26:24]but if someone's AA shaken then the whole community's AA becomes shaken
[26:30]and begins to rot and so when the brother says that we've
[26:33]grown exponentially it's because I would hope that I've given them that
[26:36]confidence to say that ask me any questions I'll ask you about
[26:41]your school let me open the books about your school let's ask
[26:44]questions about your Prophet wow and the difference with our prophet and
[26:47]the narratives concerning your God and our god it doesn't surprise me
[26:51]sometimes when im States the similarity between us and Them is the
[26:58]Kaa oh yep wow well said um also saying that when it
[27:02]comes to you know you discussing these topics sometimes you're very very
[27:05]passionate sometimes very very somber and so forth what are the different
[27:08]manag most of the time passionate 100% true 100% And why shouldn't
[27:14]you be allover of the and so forth so what is the
[27:16]different manners and forms you've seen in the Quran that the literature
[27:19]about the way they spoke to those who differed with them yeah
[27:25]it's interesting question um in the Quran you know how do you
[27:31]speak to those who differ with you it's interesting um you've of
[27:36]course got particularly polite with when wants to kill him okay um
[27:44]the famous a [Music] and so with his brother there's a there's
[27:59]a there's like a even extra politeness that if you put forward
[28:04]your hand to strike me I'm not going to put forward my
[28:06]hand to strike you uh because I fear the lord the master
[28:10]of the of the Universe um of course we have a general
[28:12]principle in the Quran I cannot deny this invite to the way
[28:23]of your Lord with wisdom and a good word and speak to
[28:28]them in that that manner which is better that's another General principle
[28:31]within the Quran of course Allah subhana wa ta'ala sometimes does open
[28:37]up certain people's behaviors and in a way you know goes right
[28:43]into them um the the accursed son of adultery in reference to's
[28:51]dad um when the children of Israel and you know the Jewish
[28:58]community at the time are described as uh donkeys again the tone
[29:06]is quite harsh um and I think in and we recited these
[29:11]last night there is there is one particular verse that says speak
[29:14]to the people of the book in that way which is better
[29:17]except if they have oppressed speak to the people of the book
[29:22]in that way which is better except except there's an exception normally
[29:28]the best way to talk with people who differ with you normally
[29:32]is to talk with you know in a manner which is civil
[29:35]a manner of respect and wisdom unless those people have oppressed you
[29:42]and the sh since the time of the imams had two different
[29:49]types of people who would enter dialogue with others some of these
[29:53]people who would enter dialogue with others would be quite we will
[30:00]say civil and would engage in that which is better most of
[30:04]the time but then I give you an example of someone like
[30:09]companion of our sixth Imam was according to some referred to as
[30:17]instead of by people like abif because was sharp in his replies
[30:25]when the Shia were being oppressed and the Shia were being slandered
[30:30]Quran said that talk to the people of the book in that
[30:33]way which is better except if they oppress when people are oppressing
[30:38]us saying that we believe IM Ali is God or we have
[30:40]a different Quran or we have Tales or we commit Zena in
[30:44]our mosques or that we are mush son ofr says then the
[30:49]tone has to change companion of was very sharp in his tone
[30:54]and he became a Scourge for Abu hanifah a Scourge for Abu
[31:05]famous discussion of with abif when said that we the sh believe
[31:09]in the the return yeah and um I remember abua saying to
[31:15]him well if you believe in the lend me 500 dins and
[31:19]when we return in the I'll give it back to you if
[31:25]you believe that we're going to come back after we die let
[31:30]me 500 quid I'll give it back to you when we return
[31:32]and replied to him by saying you have a point I'll give
[31:39]you 500 din but there's a problem in the enemies of return
[31:44]as animals so I won't be able to recognize you to see
[31:47]where you are now has quite a sharp way I believe that
[31:55]even as speakers our temperaments are different all of us who sit
[32:00]on man our temperaments are different there is somebody who sits on
[32:05]he's introvert by Nature there are some oratory is not the gift
[32:08]they've been blessed with they have but they're not orators there are
[32:14]some you may think that he is an orator but it's actually
[32:16]that is the way he speaks he's quite commanding and passionate there
[32:20]are others who've perfected their oratory different crowds require different things different
[32:26]times require different things there's the time I need h a time
[32:29]I need Sal a time I need z a time I need
[32:35]Muhammad Muslim a time I need AB a time I need someone
[32:39]like B oramd zakaram but there's also a time that I need
[32:51]for someone to say that the sh worldview when discussing every school
[32:56]in Islam always at every every time has to be that is
[33:03]the way that many of us have done for years only to
[33:07]be called sons of M and Sons of Z and Sons of
[33:09]there you go so my brother when you see people getting bullied
[33:12]and you turn around and say because you've never been privy to
[33:15]these discussions I always say that those who haven't lived in the
[33:22]UK don't know how intense it is wow there are people who
[33:27]live in parts of America for example okay and I must admit
[33:31]that a lot of those parts of America can alhamdulillah and both
[33:33]accept that you know what you got a reading we have a
[33:36]reading and we can work together but in the UK whether we
[33:38]like it or we don't I am never going to be invited
[33:44]to a Sunni majority mosque to speak because my narrative and my
[33:49]reading which I postulated and spoke about earlier that the sh reading
[33:55]is also a valid reading it is not in their eyes it's
[33:56]not as much as you as much as you show a hundred
[34:00]of these books behind me you'll still have someone even if you
[34:02]show these books even if he sees the page and the ISBN
[34:06]number that's their books even if you show all of that they'll
[34:08]still turn around and say no you know what I'm still not
[34:12]accepting your arguments and so on and so forth um so yeah
[34:16]if you want to study the S of the imams and their
[34:21]companions there is a time and place for each companion his worldview
[34:25]at that particular moment question coming in from from Aim in Germany
[34:30]uh you mentioned Sunni thought believes in a god with a body
[34:34]but we midis don't it's only salais who do well thanks you
[34:38]know thanks aam for making my point he says that we the
[34:44]mes don't believe in God having a body andless salafis do so
[34:48]again again the confusion of Sunni Islam anyone in Sunni Islam can
[34:53]have a hundred different opinions on one AA issue and that's why
[34:56]I always say I I don't understand how do you de discuss
[34:58]you know when people want to debate with Sunni Muslims you bring
[35:04]me six of them in Speakers Corner this one is a m
[35:07]this one's a salafi this one is a m this one is
[35:12]a each one of them can also camouflage themselves jumping from opinion
[35:16]to opinion to the extent that some of them will even say
[35:21]things like I'm a Sala but not in everything what does that
[35:23]even mean honestly what does that mean I'm a Cy honestly and
[35:30]look look um people laugh about these things I'm trying to be
[35:33]as sensitive as possible about this when someone says I'm a but
[35:36]not everything I'm a but in some things I'm a Malik but
[35:41]I don't mind abu's opinion on that one thing they always used
[35:45]to say you guys never quote you've just quoted Mei who you
[35:51]you follow in and you follow in law because when a person
[35:59]says for example that I'm a m then I'm in that area
[36:01]or near it and if I follow law then I'm a so
[36:06]who's the ones who are quoting from when all the names that
[36:11]you now mention are miles away from S alh no but the
[36:13]sh are the ones because we held on to we're the problematic
[36:18]ones Ali from Scotland is asking if sunnis love B then how
[36:21]do they resolve conflicts between them and the companions yeah look uh
[36:29]the Sunni love of is present at different levels different levels if
[36:36]I go to Pakistan today some sunnis love maybe as passionately as
[36:40]Shia yeah 100% they love the descendants of imagine not if they
[36:47]love Sadat in Pakistan when they see Sadat straight away the love
[36:51]they have is unreal so if there are people who for example
[36:55]in Pakistan Love The Descendants imagine how much then they love yeah
[36:59]there are I would say if you go to Pakistan the Indo
[37:08]pakist subcontinent generally that is the highest love of for they'll cry
[37:15]for IM Hussein they'll attend they'll attend as processions then after that
[37:23]in Africa you've got people who love Muhammad and Al Muhammad they
[37:29]are of the Sufi classes and a lot of their chains go
[37:34]back to the IMs of or their students they permeate into even
[37:44]going towards parts of the Far East Indonesia Malaysia can have some
[37:49]of these people who are also sunnis who love the lowest category
[37:56]of sun for tends to be where the gulf stroke Middle East
[38:05]when I say the lowest category doesn't mean that they don't love
[38:11]but their love is not as intense in terms of mourning tears
[38:20]as you'd find in the sui tradition and as you'd find in
[38:23]the Indo Pac subcontinent the lowest of these would be Jordanian pales
[38:28]inian Saudi Syrian salafi Brotherhood these over here they are the ones
[38:43]whose love they love IM Ali f z but nothing more there's
[38:45]no need for you know such thing as respecting sh have a
[38:48]love no no no nothing like that someone says then how do
[38:54]they resolve the conflict between the companions fighting we know very well
[38:59]fought IM Ali Zu fought IM Ali fought IM Ali not all
[39:07]the companions fought B number one there are some companions they didn't
[39:13]fight for nor did they fight you see they didn't fight for
[39:21]nor fight against against if you look at some of these they
[39:24]remain what they call they call themselves the people of retirement or
[39:32]seclusion in one way but these people were like s for example
[39:38]okay he wouldn't fight IM Ali at a jam of course his
[39:42]son leads an army to kill IM Hussein atala but he he
[39:47]is a companion who doesn't fight the companions who do how do
[39:51]the Sunni Muslims resolve it a some haven't got a clue okay
[39:53]some haven't got a clue that these companions fought Imam Ali some
[39:56]have never heard of as they say in Egypt or some don't
[40:03]even know what is some don't even know that the companions were
[40:06]outspoken against they wouldn't believe these things because you're nurtured in a
[40:11]house where literally everything has been whitewashed and everybody loves each other
[40:14]yeah the ones who do know about this they fall into a
[40:20]number of categories one category of them are the ones who say
[40:22]it happened, 1400 years ago so what what difference will it make
[40:27]today that's one category a second category of them are the ones
[40:30]who say Imam Ali was right they were wrong but IM Ali
[40:36]forgave them okay you have to say Imam Al forgave them why
[40:39]because it allows the whole conception that you have of to remain
[40:45]yeah that narrative they push others of them the third opinion is
[40:48]that they say this was a FNA and in the Quran in
[40:54]God does mention MH that two of theas of the Muslim can
[40:58]fight each other mhm two of theas of the can fight each
[41:04]other it can happen a fourth group of them they say that
[41:07]no both of them were juped by a Yen Jew called Abdullah
[41:13]sabat that's another opinion oh wow another group of them say AA
[41:16]was uh was on the right and IM Ali was on the
[41:20]right does it make sense yeah but you know they say that
[41:23]AA had her valid claim thatman has been killed and so because
[41:28]has been killed A's claim is is valid that she has to
[41:34]find the killers of the killers of with and therefore she had
[41:40]a valid claim but she did her because in the Sunni world
[41:47]one of the best ways in which Omar and and mu and
[41:49]everybody gets away with things is they all have their for us
[41:54]of course the mum is designated by Allah you can't have without
[41:59]permission or against the but for them against the's opinion is fine
[42:06]so even sometimes as a Shia we have to also and I
[42:10]try to repeat this as many times as I can when I
[42:15]discuss Shia Sunni I have no problem whatsoever with Sunni people I
[42:19]am discussing Sunni history Theology and law the average Sunni person is
[42:24]a friend someone we grew up with someone who's e mom's food
[42:29]someone you played five side football with I am discussing their Theology
[42:32]and Creed it's not going to be a below the belt personal
[42:35]attacks on anyone and the Shia also have to understand the different
[42:39]levels of the Sunni and their salvation and the Hereafter and what
[42:43]do I mean somebody who's a Sunni at the time of imadi
[42:46]who met imadi and talked with imadi is different from someone today
[42:50]who's a Sunni someone who's met theit in that first few Generations
[42:55]different from someone today so we're not discussing him who goes Heaven
[42:59]who goes hell they have their readings and arguments which they still
[43:03]can't agree on should have left her house when the Quran says
[43:10]they have their readings about whether should have gone as the wife
[43:16]of LED an army was AA wrong did AA get forgiven was
[43:18]she sincerely repentant they have their reading no problem but they try
[43:22]and find a way to reconcile the Killer and the killed and
[43:27]that's where we have an issue wow uh um from Amin all
[43:29]the way from Sweden alaykum say I have become a Shia because
[43:35]of your sessions on the prophet being Bewitched all this time I
[43:37]thought the Shia didn't respect or appreciate the prophet peace be upon
[43:40]Him entirely then I heard you discussing Bewitched affected by Magic Satan
[43:44]suicidal I made decision on the spot to change my AKA thank
[43:49]you so much well thank you and on the contrary you know
[43:51]you're a source of Pride for us you should be proud of
[43:54]yourself um yeah look the prophet of Sunni Islam bukari and Muslim
[44:02]you could read them all day it's unbelievable you know right from
[44:05]the beginning you know the the man has got you know the
[44:09]way they describe him he needs a heart transplant you know and
[44:12]he's affected by Satan and he's Bewitched and Magic affects him and
[44:16]his private life is so public um and he wants to be
[44:21]suicidal at certain point and jbra you know pushes him and so
[44:25]on and this has a number of reasons why Prophet emerges in
[44:30]this way one reason is of course if you're going to rely
[44:33]Ona and an um bin Malik and Abdullah Omar and Abu these
[44:39]are four people who of course in sh reading of Islamic history
[44:42]our reading we don't not respect these people but they do on
[44:48]the second level shab is and others they're all working for respective
[44:53]governments people like Aban ban and others they're working under the times
[44:57]these these ones are working under the abas times the government are
[44:59]going to keep an eye on the S the government are going
[45:03]to make sure certain things are included in the certain things are
[45:06]remitted from the and that's why I said that we have past
[45:12]and present said um uh of course one of our Scholars alive
[45:20]today um she Ahmed Salman all of these people they are working
[45:26]so hard to reexamine the of the holy prophet peace be upon
[45:31]his family because our Prophet has been oppressed and maybe when the
[45:35]prophet said that no Prophet has been oppressed as much as I
[45:38]haveh maybe he was referring to the fact that my S is
[45:44]going to be changed completely my stories are going to be changed
[45:46]my image is going to be changed my interactions with my family
[45:49]members is going to be changed I mean but don't they still
[45:54]believe that he's mum that the prophet is mum yeah and and
[45:56]Sun thought the prophet sallallahu alaih is mum although the majority opinions
[46:00]that he's mum in Revelation outside of Revelation they say there's a
[46:05]possibility that the prophet could make mistakes and so on so forth
[46:08]but with they say that the prophet is M so now we've
[46:12]got about five minutes left of the show so let's try and
[46:15]get some of these questions coming in from our viewers uhum in
[46:19]your lecture on Imam Hass you said they gave baa to muaah
[46:25]we also assume Su only where exactly is Bea mentioned did you
[46:28]mean no I didn't mean I actually meant wow yeah yeah whatever
[46:36]he does he makes a decision that this person is my enemy
[46:43]um in Inari IM Ali leads an army to fight muaah mua
[46:45]then offers by sending two of his henchmen to try and make
[46:50]a peace treaty with IM Hassam otherwise Hassan wants mua dead mua
[46:53]is a you know is a problem in the Muslim Community um
[46:57]but then of course IM Hassan sees mua's bribing his soldiers he
[47:01]sees some of his soldiers have not gone out because they don't
[47:03]like mua they're G out for The Spoils of War and IM
[47:07]makes a decision that the only way forward is a a treaty
[47:09]yes conditions are me and then narrates in um chapter9 that Iman
[47:17]IM Hussein and go towards sham and that b is given there
[47:21]so it's not just that is there there is that's there when
[47:25]an IM decides anything an IM knows what's best for his community
[47:28]after that was done IM Al Hassan lived for another 10 years
[47:33]he built a whole generation of lovers of Abu tab in Med
[47:38]yeah yeah um next question is from Sara in America um says
[47:44]would you admit there are question marks about imama in she thought
[47:51]Z is why don't you address these two if God gives us
[47:55]long life inshallah we'll address everything as much as we can you
[47:59]know hopefully with your support for IM Hussein TV and the work
[48:03]behind the scenes then we definitely why not address imama I do
[48:06]believe there are a number of valid questions that are asked by
[48:10]um Sunni Scholars about imama um specifically about the IMs of in
[48:19]the latter period everybody can see that is quite clear but then
[48:23]people begin to ask questions when im onwards about the um designation
[48:26]of an IM how public is it done did the companions know
[48:31]about the IM but there's no problem with these things all of
[48:34]these things we can discuss our have discussed um the the imams
[48:38]the period of their lives ranging from called of the likes of
[48:44]to and others then you've got you know Dr Jim Hussein's wonderful
[48:50]book The occultation of the 12th Imam where he discusses the underground
[48:54]networks that the imams had to build in periods of Oppression um
[48:56]you know and and and there's so many interesting works that are
[49:01]still coming out discussing um imams and Imam and we have no
[49:06]problem even if our people remember if we say im is one
[49:08]of the of the then this has to be having rational and
[49:12]textual inquiry and discussions and we have no problem with that inshallah
[49:16]in this forthcoming episode from tomorrow night I think we we can
[49:19]discuss more of these things inshallah I think we have time for
[49:22]one more question say now this is from Muhammad from South Africa
[49:25]who are the alowitz in Syria what is the history and background
[49:27]we have seen last few years back and forth can we we'll
[49:32]discuss the hwise cuz I know that we're being told there's only
[49:33]a couple minutes left and my answer want suffice so maybe that
[49:36]could be the first question of tomorrow night's uh Q&A in inshah
[49:40]uh thank you so much for all the viewers and so forth
[49:42]for joining us on this episode with Dr say Amar uh sorry
[49:45]we didn't answer all your questions but we'll roll over to tomorrow
[49:47]inshallah I think we got time for one final thought from you
[49:51]say that to the viewers whatever you'd like to say to them

[49:56]you've all sent in messages in this period I thank you all

[50:11]we can and inshallah tomorrow night and the next few nights we'll
[50:14]have some wonderful q&as keep sending the questions in um and we'll
[50:17]Endeavor to answer as many as we can inshallah fantastic thank you
[50:22]so much s God bless thank you to all the viewers for
[50:23]joining us on this episode insh like the S said we'll be
[50:27]back tomorrow taking on more of your questions so if you want
[50:28]to send them in you can send them in now throughout the
[50:31]night there not a problem and insh we'll collect them all together
[50:33]and we'll address the say tomorrow until then please remember us in
[50:40]your duas and keep watching Imam Hussein TV 3 [Music] [Music] speech
