[0:13]respected brothers and sisters only a few minutes separate us from the

[0:25]night of eid one of the greatest celebrations and holidays of allah

[0:32]subhanahu wa ta'ala will almost start in sha allah in a few

[0:35]minutes and thus it should be a time where we are happy

[0:40]we are celebrating we are in a state of joy because the

[0:47]eid one of the greatest eids of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is

[0:52]at our doorsteps but honestly brothers and sisters tonight i have mixed

[1:00]feelings because at the same time that we are greeting this holy

[1:06]eid celebration holiday of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala from one side but

[1:10]from the other side we are farewelling the most beautiful month it's

[1:16]not easy to say goodbye to the month of ramadan it's not

[1:19]easy when you love someone or something can you easily let go

[1:24]of it can you easily say goodbye to it definitely not and

[1:28]that's why honestly tonight i am a bit depressed even though of

[1:31]course i'm filled with joy for all that we achieved in ramadan

[1:36]and that we have the day of eid a day that allah

[1:37]wanted us to celebrate but at the same time i i am

[1:42]a bit depressed because the greatest month of the year is about

[1:46]to finish in a few minutes the holiest month of allah is

[1:51]almost over the blessings the mercy the rahmatham the forgiveness of allah

[2:00]subhana wa ta allah that the month of ramadan brought is almost

[2:03]going to leave brothers and sisters and that's why you will find

[2:08]many believers they are sad for this very reason the month of

[2:13]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala where every time we breathe allah counts as

[2:17]tasbih this will end in a few minutes imagine brothers and sisters

[2:22]for the last month every time we used to breathe allah would

[2:26]count it as a tasbih for us and rasulullah said for an

[2:32]entire month we were in such bliss in such nurma just free

[2:37]throw up doing nothing but in a few moments this will come

[2:42]to an end the beautiful month where your worship your sleep is

[2:48]considered worship just go to bed and allah will count it as

[2:54]worship this beautiful month is going to come to an end in

[2:58]a couple of minutes my gnome tonight will not be like my

[3:03]sleep last night my sleep last night and the night before and

[3:08]before and before was all i bought even if i did nothing

[3:10]but starting from tomorrow night no you have to start doing something

[3:15]if you want allah subhanahu ta'ala to start counting for you and

[3:20]that's why i am sad i am a bit depressed that i

[3:21]have to fare well such a beautiful month a month where allah

[3:27]subhanahu wa ta'ala guaranteed our will be accepted it no questions asked

[3:49]this beautiful opportunity is coming to an end a month where allah

[3:54]subhanahu wa ta'ala made us all his guests can you believe it

[3:57]allah made every single one of you his special private guest of

[4:03]honor was every single one of us was invited to a banquet

[4:13]of allah azzawajal every single one of you was a special guest

[4:19]for allah subhanahu wa ta'ala but that holy banquet of allah that

[4:23]feast of allah that invitation of allah is almost coming to an

[4:28]end within a few minutes the month of ramadhan with all of

[4:31]its beauty and mercy and forgiveness is going to end so subhanallah

[4:36]a believer does experience mixed feelings from one end we are greeting

[4:41]a beautiful eat but from another end we are letting go of

[4:45]the beautiful month of ramadan it's not easy to farewell the month

[4:51]of ramadan what a great month that we are bidding for well

[4:55]tonight brothers and sisters has a beautiful dua brothers and sisters he

[5:03]read it to farewell the month of ramadan it's the dua of

[5:07]ramada it's a dua where he sat down and he spoke to

[5:14]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he spoke about the beauties of the month

[5:17]of ramadan and then he farewelled it in such an emotional way

[5:20]brothers and sisters if you read it and you understand it you

[5:24]will not help yourselves from shedding tears when you recite this will

[5:30]cry the way he speaks to ramadan and how he brought us

[5:35]so much joy for 30 days and how he's leaving us how

[5:39]he is breaking our hearts the month of ramadan after leaving us

[5:43]he will cry so i haven't even started and i can't help

[5:48]myself because it's so emotional so beautiful how he shows you the

[5:54]beauty of the month of ramadan i'll share some of the passages

[5:57]of this beautiful du'a of the month of ramadan so we can

[6:03]really learn to appreciate it next year when it comes we eagerly

[6:07]anticipate it we yearn for it we wait you know there are

[6:13]people who have a countdown for the eid they buy those some

[6:16]of those planners and then every day you write 20 days left

[6:18]19 18.

[6:20]when you read the dua of imam zainul abedin you will buy

[6:25]a planner so that you have a countdown for next ramadan how

[6:29]many days await until next ramadan 300 and i don't know what

[6:36]you truly fall in love with this beautiful month when you read

[6:41]the way in which he farewelled it the imam begins his dua

[7:10]us with his unlimited nam favors and generosity allah we can never

[7:17]count the ni'am of allah he mentions some of the allah subhanahu

[7:22]ta'ala until he reaches the month of ramadan he says ya allah

[7:24]one of the greatest na'am that you gave us muslims is the

[7:30]beautiful month of ramadan he says one of the greatest gifts you

[7:46]gave us muslims is the beautiful month of ramadan you have honored

[7:50]us with this month with all of its greatness and you have

[7:55]made it the greatest month out of the year it's truly a

[7:59]wonderful month brothers and sisters what's beautiful about the month of ramadan

[8:03]is that it's a routine breaker 11 months everything is the same

[8:08]and then one month everything changes subhanallah we start fasting we don't

[8:13]eat we don't drink we come to the majalis at night we

[8:19]listen to lectures we listen to dua we listen to we recite

[8:23]quran all of a sudden you see how holy people become during

[8:26]the month of ramadan which is something so good if it wasn't

[8:30]for the month of ramadan 12 months would be far from allah

[8:32]when ramadan comes at least it's one opportunity to come to allah

[8:35]subhanahu wa ta'ala and our life completely changes it's truly an honor

[8:40]that he gave us this opportunity if it wasn't for the month

[8:45]of ramadan people you would find years they would not come to

[8:47]them as years they would not think years they would not read

[8:53]it we come but we don't read any duas ramadan you find

[8:56]everyone the religious the non-religious the faithful the unfaithful the one who

[9:00]is devout and devout you find them they all come to the

[9:03]masjid and they speak to allah they all speak to allah if

[9:12]it wasn't for ramadan allah he wouldn't see some people ever speaking

[9:15]to allah doing dua to allah so allah has honored us with

[9:22]this opportunity that we become holy and we turn to him and

[9:25]then the imam says one of the blessings of ramadan the month

[9:35]of ramadan is that you brought down the quran during this beautiful

[9:38]month this is the month of quran quran the quran says the

[9:48]holy quran was revealed during the month of ramadan and as the

[9:51]hadith of the prophet says or one of the imams the quran

[9:55]is the spring of the quran the holy month of ramadan this

[10:02]is when the quran blossoms what is the prophet or the imam

[10:08]means look at most people who never touch the quran they never

[10:10]read any verses in the quran subhanallah in ramadan they tried to

[10:14]read the quran they tried to do a khatma of the quran

[10:17]correct i know some people they will never touch the quran they'll

[10:19]never read the quran but in ramadan all of a sudden they

[10:23]turn to the words of allah subhanahu ta'ala and all of the

[10:26]guidance and the beauty and the mercy that's in the quran this

[10:32]comes in this beautiful month and the imam says and allah subhanahu

[10:35]wa ta'ala gives you more credit for reading quran we mentioned this

[10:39]the holy prophet when he greeted the month of ramadan he said

[10:44]women read one verse brothers and sisters say bismillah allah writes for

[10:57]you of reading the entire quran you recited the quran another time

[11:04]allah at another time this opportunity will end in a few minutes

[11:07]brothers and sisters in a few minutes you have to go back

[11:12]to the old system of allah where every verse is about one

[11:17]verse if we want to you know if we want to say

[11:21]that you get more credit for it the verse says if you

[11:27]do a good deed allah will multiply it by 10.

[11:29]but if you do it now in these final minutes you read

[11:33]one verse allah will multiply it by 6600 that's how many verses

[11:36]in the holy quran so this is another aspect that makes ramadan

[11:42]so beautiful and then he says and the most beautiful aspect of

[11:55]ramadan that allah gave us was a night that is greater than

[12:00]thirty thousand night a night where allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is willing

[12:04]to forgive all your sins just come for a few minutes i

[12:06]spoke about this during leila and repent to allah few minutes allah

[12:10]azzawajal will forgive all your sins a night where allah allows you

[12:17]to achieve more good deeds than an entire lifespan 83 years of

[12:22]ibadah you can achieve in one night isn't this from the rahmah

[12:27]of allah what a great opportunity allah gave us if allah hadn't

[12:31]given us anything brothers and sisters the whole year except leila to

[12:34]qatar that would have been enough that would have been more than

[12:38]enough so the imam speaks about these are all from the mercy

[12:43]of allah from the ni'am of allah that we have to thank

[12:45]him for his generosity and then the imam he says and then

[13:00]he begins to speak about ramadan as if this holy month was

[13:04]a person was a companion he says indeed the month of ramadan

[13:08]was the best companion for us the month of ramadan greatly benefited

[13:11]all of us it brought all of us closer to allah subhanahu

[13:16]wa ta'ala farther from the shaitaan because the shaytan was shackled during

[13:21]the month of ramadan farther from sins closer to allah it comforted

[13:25]us the month of ramadan was a great companion because it brought

[13:29]us as a community together brothers and sisters tomorrow night but no

[13:33]one will see each other tomorrow night monday night tuesday night thursday

[13:37]night but we all take we go back to our old lives

[13:41]we won't see each other anymore isn't this a blessing that ramadan

[13:44]brought that brings the community together we can see each other every

[13:48]night and have iftar this is one of the beauties of the

[13:54]month of ramadan that the imam speaks about so he says indeed

[13:56]you were a great companion that everywhere we went and everything we

[14:01]did you gave barakah to it you gave blessings to it and

[14:07]you truly helped us so much we achieve so much because of

[14:12]you after al-imam mentions this and then he transitions and shifts to

[14:15]where farewelling this month so after he's telling us it's such a

[14:20]great month we fell in love with it but now we have

[14:23]to say goodbye to this beautiful month it's not easy to say

[14:26]goodbye to it the imam says the imam speaks to the month

[14:49]of ramadan he says after we got so used to you after

[14:53]we fell in love with you oh month of ramadan after we

[14:58]became addicted to you to all the quran coming every night having

[15:08]beautiful iftar together some families brothers and sisters they don't have time

[15:11]to eat together because work work work during the year ramadan is

[15:15]the only opportunity that they can come and they sit as a

[15:17]family as a community and they eat after we got so used

[15:22]to you oh month of ramadan now you leave us and you

[15:27]go now you depart us and you leave us but know oh

[15:29]month of ramadan that you will leave us with a broken heart

[15:34]because we are like someone that has lost their loved one you

[15:38]have left us lonely look at the words the imam use he

[15:43]says you have left us very lonely because you were the best

[15:49]companion we got so used to you we fell in love with

[15:53]you we are like the child that now has to be weaned

[15:55]from his mother how difficult it is to go back to pre-ramadan

[15:59]for some people for those believers that fell in love with ramadan

[16:03]now go back to my old boring life tomorrow night the day

[16:09]after after after just those words they ring in their ears of

[16:12]the isle of tita brothers and sisters these are some of the

[16:23]beautiful aspects of ramadan that we have to say goodbye to the

[16:27]imam says and then the imam alaihissalam says so we tell you

[16:36]o month of ramadan farewell farewell oh month of ramadan goodbye until

[16:41]we see you next year in sha allah allah gives us the

[16:46]opportunity farewell oh noble companion that was with me at all times

[16:57]during the month of ramadhan at all times you were with us

[17:57]were there you comforted us and you were the best companion and

[18:01]when you left you truly broke our hearts oh month of ramadan

[18:07]how painful was it to the heart to say goodbye to you

[18:12]o month of ramadan and then the imam continues muhammad farewell our

[18:38]ramadan you came you softened our hearts today mom says our hearts

[18:46]that become so attached to the dunya you came and you reminded

[18:53]us of allah you softened our hearts and you limited our sins

[19:03]he doesn't say that we didn't do sins because at the end

[19:06]of the day we are not so mean we're not infallible we

[19:10]may have committed sins in ramadan but at least in comparison to

[19:14]other months we committed lessons i'm sure everyone can attest to that

[19:19]that in ramadan i committed less sins than before ramadan and then

[19:25]after ramadan so he says o farewell o great month that you

[19:30]softened our hearts and you made us commit lessons you brought us

[19:35]closer to allah and then the imam says for farewell a month

[19:54]of ramadan you came with blessings and you left with our sins

[19:59]what a beautiful word ramadan came as the prophet said so mercy

[20:18]forgiveness blessings and when it leaves it doesn't leave empty handed it

[20:22]leaves with your sins so it brings barakah and it takes away

[20:26]your sins what a beautiful month is it that when it leaves

[20:30]it leaves with your sins it leaves you pure subhanallah we have

[20:39]to thank allah subhanahu ta'ala that he gave us such a beautiful

[20:44]month we have to eternally thank allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that he

[20:47]gave us this opportunity to turn to him to have our sins

[20:54]erased to remember allah to remember the akhara to wake up from

[20:58]this this deep sleep that we are ramadan is a beautiful opportunity

[21:00]that brings us together as a community we have to thank him

[21:04]that he enabled us to take advantage of ramadan some people they

[21:10]don't have the tawfiq brothers and sisters ramadan comes and goes they

[21:13]don't change at all they don't come to the masjid it's still

[21:15]dunya some individuals they're deprived from the mercy from the blessings of

[21:22]the month of ramadan not once will they open the quran to

[21:24]recite a verse not once will they listen to not once will

[21:28]they read or listen to abu hamza they are deprived from all

[21:33]of this allah is just giving all of them but they are

[21:35]sleeping they are more worried about other things we have to thank

[21:40]allah that we weren't among those individuals who you think are alive

[21:43]but they are dead because spiritually they're dead they're in a spiritual

[21:49]comatose we have to thank allah that he enabled us for the

[21:51]last month to be amongst those that appreciated ramadan that took advantage

[21:55]of the month of ramadan and we achieve so much great things

[22:01]during the month of ramadan truly brothers and sisters we are so

[22:04]honored and blessed that allah enlightened us and guided us to taking

[22:09]advantage of the month of ramadan sometimes during the day in ramadan

[22:12]i go out you know i have to do certain things and

[22:16]i see some other non-muslims who don't know anything about ramadan they're

[22:20]not taking advantage of the month of ramadan wallahi i feel sorry

[22:24]for them this beautiful month of ramadan they don't know about it

[22:27]they can't take advantage of it sometimes you see some muslims who

[22:32]don't care about the month of ramadan this is an honor if

[22:35]allah guides you he puts that nur inside your heart that wisdom

[22:38]to take advantage of ramadan i will end with this hadith brothers

[22:44]and sisters one of the closest companions of rasulullah and he was

[22:52]a companion of the imams of albeit i want to see rasulullah

[23:07]during the last friday of the month of ramadan ramadan this is

[23:17]the last jummah friday of the month month of ramadan now they

[23:22]meet they they say that the prophet didn't mean the last friday

[23:27]he meant the last week like we say juma this is jummah

[23:30]this week so it was the final days of the month of

[23:36]ramadan he told him oh jaber what shah ramadan don't forget to

[23:41]say goodbye to the month of ramadan there's only minutes left brothers

[23:45]and sisters do not forget to say goodbye to the beautiful month

[23:50]of ramadan do i say goodbye to the month of ramadan the

[23:55]prophet tells him say this to ah recite this the prophet told

[24:12]jabber make sure you say this before ramadan and say ya allah

[24:16]please do not make this ramadan my last ramadan allow me to

[24:21]witness next year is ramadan but if you didn't because it was

[25:24]subhanahu wa ya allah allow us to live until next ramadan so

[25:39]not live until next year we ask you to please forgive us

[25:43]so brothers and sisters in the final moments before maghrib begins let

[25:46]us raise our hands and read this together the dua of rasulullah

[26:24]in these final moments of the month of ramadan if you have

[26:30]not already forgiven us throughout this month if you have not already

[26:36]forgiven us during lailatul this is our last chance do not let

[26:42]the month of ramadan finish leave us depart us and we are

[26:50]still sinful purify us guide us and enlighten us so that even

[26:59]after ramadan we can stay sinless we can be guided by your

[27:36]ta'ala to grant you all your hajjat aid mubarak to everyone may

[27:41]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala fill your hearts with joy and blessings during

[27:45]the blessed according to most of the some of the malaja it's

[27:52]already been announced that tomorrow will be aid say i don't have
