[0:05][Music] we can go ahead and jump into the second topic which

[0:10]relates to how to not make the mistakes of you know the

[0:15]past Generations who awaited their leader their profits you know because the

[0:21]Quran and you know history books are example for us to learn

[0:25]from you know people's mistakes and you know inshallah we can benefit

[0:28]from these few minutes when we discuss about this and see what

[0:33]the past Generations have done so that we can avoid some of

[0:37]those pitfalls and you know be better prepared for our Imam it's

[0:40]it's actually scary the subject because like as we were talking a

[0:47]couple days ago and um we were like um we were sharing

[0:52]about that lecture from the Sheikh Jalal and he mentioned they were

[0:55]the the Jewish people they're actually waiting in Medina and then when

[1:01]that person that's coming the new Prophet they didn't like him what

[1:08]end up to be they end up to be his enemy so

[1:09]imagine you exactly imagine you are waiting all your life you're moving

[1:16]from this area you're going toward this area but at the end

[1:19]that person you are waiting for he comes out and then you

[1:22]become his own enemy and that that took us actually to the

[1:30]the conversation is why I'm actually waiting to the Imam and like

[1:34]am I waiting for my personal benefits like let's say if someone

[1:40]is just like you know having a hard time in life would

[1:42]be like okay I just need a bit of Life a bit

[1:46]of income I'm just like tired of all of this I need

[1:50]to rest I need the Imam to come so we have a

[1:54]better life or like let's say someone is like single looking for

[1:57]a wife maybe when a man comes would help me to find

[2:02]a wife or the opposite vice versa so when you think about

[2:05]it if we put our needs personal needs benefit out of this

[2:10]as an Imam we might not like what's coming because it's all

[2:14]about giving it's all about doing it's all about being ready to

[2:18]sacrifice all what you have for this cause not just like I

[2:23]want to benefit out of it it's all about like we prepare

[2:26]ourselves right now like personally as we also spoke before it's like

[2:31]every time when you speak to yourself you say I'm not questioning

[2:36]anything the Imam said when the Imam comes whatever he gonna say

[2:40]I need to put in my mind I just accept it I'd

[2:46]never put a one percent in my mind why even the Imam

[2:51]said that what's the reason behind it I'm not there to question

[2:54]I'm just there to do if we put in our mind this

[3:01]and and our mission imagine that all the thousands of prophets this

[3:05]is the end goal this is the main mission this is the

[3:08]accomplishment so the Imam the oldest imams didn't all this Prophet sorry

[3:16]they didn't have all the sufferness for us to just live like

[3:19]couple years happy that's not the main goal the main goal is

[3:24]actually is is is to do the double to perform all this

[3:31]just you know all around the world you know and we live

[3:34]you know in under um under the banner of the Imam inshallah

[3:38]so the minute we just say why I'm waiting for the Imam

[3:42]what's my benefit of it or what's my reason to iTune Imam

[3:45]and I found that it's a personal reasons I would suggest we

[3:51]we reconsider our position one more time because like if we just

[3:58]like reconsider it and then we say okay now I want to

[4:02]just like spend all what I can do for the Imam yeah

[4:04]as we said you know like so all this um people that's

[4:09]waited you know for the previous ones for example a great example

[4:12]that we every single year we we remember most of the story

[4:18]of Muslim he had thousands of people were waiting on him but

[4:20]everyone lots of them thought it just there was a benefit they're

[4:26]gonna gain some some benefit you will become a governor and then

[4:29]they will might gain out of it but when a Time came

[4:34]it is a time to give all what you have for that

[4:36]cause we all know the story he end up alone imagine one

[4:43]man who have thousands of people were telling him we are here

[4:48]for you and he end up alone very sad story and a

[4:56]great listen for us we could say look exactly we could say

[5:01]look at them they were sending messages to the Imam and said

[5:04]we are here guess what we every one of us send a

[5:09]message to them we do with that if you read what it

[5:16]is you're just sending him a message you're just telling him I'm

[5:22]here I'm renewing all this every single day to do what to

[5:26]be among his supporter and then imagine when a mom comes would

[5:30]you say oh it seems to be like very hard very tough

[5:34]I'm going to wait we're not different than the people before us

[5:38]we're not like you know like we the only difference is we

[5:42]have the story of others that's failed so we could learn from

[5:45]that's the only benefit that we have but that's not guarantee that

[5:53]we might we will survive our test we need to be very

[5:59]careful and everyone Among Us need to see I'm willing to to

[6:02]sacrifice and give everything I have for the cause of the reappearance

[6:08]of the Imam I'll never question him if we do that all

[6:11]the time like imagine you know when you read the story when

[6:15]the people like cross the river and it was just like allowing

[6:18]to just drink a small drink water that's a small amount I

[6:23]think the the gelut do you mean you know the story brother

[6:29]uh for from was it from yeah yeah I think yeah when

[6:35]they just like crossed the river and he said only just like

[6:40]you drink one um one small cup and that was it so

[6:45]imagine yourself among this this then you are like very thirsty would

[6:48]you say why would you say but I'm thirsty or would you

[6:52]say sure hundred percent this is a type of condition we need

[6:57]to get ourselves into it if we started right now daily let's

[7:01]de-attach ourselves to everything around us this is I believe this is

[7:08]could become an easy process yes we want to live a better

[7:12]life but then it started by de-attaching yourself from everything around you

[7:17]it's hard I'm speaking to myself it will take practice but the

[7:20]minute we understand what is the goal what is the target what's

[7:24]the mission here then it's easy it's okay to sacrifice everything for

[7:32]that cause yeah brother Abu Haider this is uh as we said

[7:38]earlier it's very scary and actually what makes it more concerning is

[7:42]when we read books like you know yes this this segment is

[7:51]about learning from prior Generations you know like during the time of

[7:55]Imam Hussein during the time of Nabi Musa Prophet Muhammad peace and

[7:59]blessings be upon him and his family but we have narrations also

[8:08]that give us a forecast of the people the people who are

[8:11]the followers of the Imam in his closed circles and how they

[8:17]will treat him when he reappears and those narrations are very very

[8:21]frightening because some of the narrations for example one states that the

[8:26]follow the ones who claim to be as followers the Shia right

[8:29]when they when he reappears they will turn against him whereas the

[8:34]worshiper of the sun and the moon will embrace the Imam another

[8:39]narration says that the people the Believers will bring the Quran as

[8:48]a against the 12th Imam disproving him and saying you are not

[8:50]the one that was promised to come so our hadiths mentioned the

[8:57]the difficult tests and trials that the Believers go through that's why

[9:01]you know because they questioned him this is where we need to

[9:05]prepare now is like we never question we just listened to him

[9:08]we just follow him this is we close that door we close

[9:14]that door and that's the reason also to add to this point

[9:17]brother Ali you see like also another Innovation said Imam you know

[9:21]that the Imam Mandy will come suddenly yeah you know because people

[9:28]are not really not prepared not taking this as a as a

[9:31]main things that you have to be ready for it see the

[9:37]Imam salaam he said if I live to his life to his

[9:40]time I will serve him the rest of my days wow Imam

[9:53]we are living among his imama what's our purpose today we need

[9:57]to be serving him this is the sixth Imam of Imam and

[10:14]cause of the Imam during his time and and but you know

[10:18]also brother the the thing is this also um I I fully

[10:24]agree with you 100 uh in order for us to be able

[10:29]to accept the Imam we have to also and this is something

[10:32]that we're going to also take a lot of time in preparing

[10:37]podcast episodes and going through various narrations from kitabal khaiba from the

[10:40]uh from kamalo Deen for example from where we're going to go

[10:46]through it in depth so our dear viewers can benefit from it

[10:49]because I myself I didn't know a lot of this stuff once

[10:53]I got exposed to books like and I started understanding you start

[10:59]to really um of course you it's the whole your life you

[11:03]your long term you're a learner you try to learn as much

[11:08]as you can and if you're not familiar with the Hadith it's

[11:13]very very hard to develop the modifa of the Imam when he

[11:18]comes if we don't know about like you mentioned for example or

[11:22]what the obstacles are going to be the tests that we're going

[11:25]to face for example with Imam Hussein there are some companions they

[11:33]were good people but because they had Dunya in their hearts they

[11:36]said not today not right now you know or they were maybe

[11:38]afraid of the challenge right so for example in the context of

[11:45]today for example if I have a high paying job I have

[11:47]a beautiful house I have a beautiful family I have a beautiful

[11:52]car and the Imam comes and you know one thing that we

[11:55]mistake about the Imam is that we look at him in in

[12:00]a very mythical figure like he's gonna reappear in Masjid al-haram he's

[12:04]going to have a magic wand and all of a sudden the

[12:08]Dunya everything is going to change and everybody's going to give Baya

[12:11]as I mentioned before we have hadiths that say the Shia they're

[12:15]going to reject him they're going to bring the Quran as a

[12:17]against them to say you're not the one that is that is

[12:21]that is promised to come so that's why it's very important is

[12:23]also my brother Abu Haider mentioned for us to be in a

[12:30]state of uh being muntadar being an active awaiter and being able

[12:33]to have the modify and develop the modified and knowledge of the

[12:39]Imam so when he comes we're able to accept him and not

[12:41]question him you know so this is a very very difficult test

[12:46]the test is before the theur and also after the the whole

[12:49]there will also be tests it's not just that only before the

[12:54]test and then after the alhamdulillah everything is fine the Imam sets

[12:58]up his government in one second no it doesn't work that way

[13:01]it takes Blood Sweat and Tears In order to establish this this

[13:07]government of Adler illahi it is not a it is not a

[13:09]simple task and that's why the Iman also depends on his followers

[13:14]to prepare and to be ready for the time when he comes

[13:16]so that as as we say we can roll up the sleeves

[13:19]and do the work exactly exactly and that's what the Hadith said

[13:24]one of the hadees I believe in said this way and the

[13:33]blood out of like how tough is going to be yeah and

[13:37]the point here is the attaching which is related to Hubby Dunya

[13:40]the love of this life as a prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he

[13:44]said the head of the greatest sin on this Earth is love

[13:53]is this Dunya the greatest sin is love of this Dunya so

[13:59]if you put all this Dunya behind you and I know I'm

[14:04]speaking about myself it is a tough thing to do but do

[14:07]do we have do we have couple many brothers about ali to

[14:10]cover this point about have We Done Yet to just give some

[14:15]examples of sure yeah yeah yeah there's this like um like um

[14:21]we were also discussing about how badunia before and we said okay

[14:25]if we look for like any of the Kings that's like let's

[14:29]say in Islamic history or even any other kings who fought the

[14:33]prophets who fought the imams and end up killing the imams when

[14:37]you think about it would you replace your life today to be

[14:42]in his position um for example like look at our life like

[14:44]um you drive in a car you're having a house if you

[14:48]want to go hot water you either way turn on the the

[14:52]water is hot ready for you if it's cool if it's um

[14:53]the wizard it's um it's very cold outside you have a heater

[14:58]if it's a summer you have a you have an AC um

[15:01]like they didn't live like us you have an internet you could

[15:07]go back and see things and and watch movies none of the

[15:09]Kings have the life that we lived and they wasted all this

[15:16]life and the end up killing Imam they wasted their life they

[15:19]wasted the ashra for something that's the normal among us today will

[15:24]refuse to go back for it imagine that they killed the Imam

[15:29]Khalifa to Allah on Earth they fought them for something the normal

[15:36]person among us today will refuse imagine you want to fly you

[15:40]want to travel from an area to area you just get your

[15:43]car and you get ready even if you don't have a car

[15:47]you go on the bus you have a train imagine the sufferness

[15:49]of that King to just move from one area to a second

[15:54]area comparing to us today so when you think about it at

[16:00]this time this King and everyone among them they were like wow

[16:03]I wish I lived his life but they didn't realize it's called

[16:09]life and the beauty here in Arabian and language of Arabi is

[16:12]saying Dunya is coming from dhanawa it's meaning the lowest of the

[16:17]lowest of the lowest so this life here is called the lowest

[16:20]life with everything in it and the best example to look at

[16:26]it is the question is would you rather be living today or

[16:31]going back and living like any other king like before I know

[16:34]100 99.9 Among Us will say no I would rather to be

[16:40]living here I cannot live without an internet I cannot live without

[16:46]my computer I need to watch YouTube I need to listen to

[16:49]something I need to know the knowledge I need the the things

[16:53]that I used to it every single day imagine that if this

[16:58]is not good enough as an example to make you think like

[17:04]okay now wherever I'm amazed about it might be also nothing and

[17:08]why I'm wasting my life for it why I'm why I'm I'm

[17:14]willing to waste my ashwa for that thing that's not worth it

[17:18]now you could look at it imagine yourself coming from the future

[17:25]3 400 years from now and you get say this is nothing

[17:27]what internet phones laptops nothing we already improved so you would be

[17:34]like I wasted my life for no reason even think about it

[17:38]more and more when uh when the prophet Muhammad when he speaks

[17:42]about heaven foreign like what's like no eyes could even imagine it

[17:54]will never no Hearts could ever imagine it so now you know

[18:01]where you're going to why would you waste yourself in your ashwa

[18:04]for something that's like that brother Abu hey that I I mentioned

[18:11]this example to some people let me ask you a question if

[18:13]I tell you right now you work 80 hours a week for

[18:18]the next five years okay so 80 hours a week for the

[18:24]next five years but after five years you get to retire and

[18:29]you will get a hundred million dollar check would you work 80

[18:31]hours a week for the next five years and retire for the

[18:34]rest of your life with a hundred million dollar check 100 yes

[18:38]so imagine that's a hundred million dollars right so imagine the promise

[18:45]of the we spend however many years that we live in this

[18:50]world to be good people you know uh to to be righteous

[18:57]to believe in Allah to believe in the prophets and the imams

[19:00]to believe in Yama to serve you know for the Everlasting peace

[19:10]and there is also a Hadith is like I think um when

[19:12]Allah created the the Hell Fire and created heaven I think that

[19:18]you say the um he said when he saw the the heaven

[19:25]he said I wonder who would ever miss it when he saw

[19:27]the best of it you know of the heaven and then like

[19:31]it's an easy part even I believe he there is one Hadith

[19:34]speaking about this point it's like it's an easy job to go

[19:40]to heaven you know it's just like very simple do not attach

[19:43]yourself he said he wondered somebody says I wonder uh and I'm

[19:47]paraphrasing this he says uh somebody tells Imam like I wonder how

[19:54]people get into heaven you know like because it seems difficult for

[20:00]that person responded responded by saying with the Lord so merciful I

[20:06]don't know how people end up in jahannam you know exactly so

[20:11]it's um these are some things that we definitely need to reflect

[20:16]on and and um yeah we always have to think about this

[20:20]and what our purpose is and because every person don't think of

[20:28]yourself as just another breathing organism you do not know if you're

[20:32]going to be one of the people that is going to be

[20:36]serving the cause of the Imam it doesn't matter you don't have

[20:38]to have the most money you don't have to have the best

[20:40]education you just have to have a good heart you don't know

[20:45]that the Imam is waiting for you or me or whoever that's

[20:50]why we always have to do our best and strive to work

[20:53]hard for the cause of the Imam and not be a reason

[20:59]for the cause of the extended IBA of the Imam inshallah we

[21:04]will conclude this uh podcast episode with uh with a short little

[21:08]Dua we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala first and foremost to forgive

[21:15]us from our sins from any transgressions that we have committed not

[21:18]from ourselves only but our fellow brothers and sisters around the world

[21:24]our deceased family members because their hands are cut from this Dunya

[21:29]so we ask Allah to bestow the mercy of the momine and

[21:34]moment who are not with us we ask Allah to haste in

[21:39]the reappearance Sharif may Allah make us amongst us loyal and devoted

[21:45]followers may Allah bless and protect all of our brothers and sisters

[21:50]around the world especially the ones who are oppressed and distressed in

[21:57]poverty in war-stricken countries they're dealing with oppression please my dear brothers

[22:00]and sisters do not forget your fellow believing brothers and sisters in

[22:06]other parts of the world that are going through struggles especially in

[22:09]this day and age as we live things are difficult and some

[22:16]of our brothers in Yemen and Philistine and Afghanistan and Syria in

[22:20]many other countries they're going through a lot of hardships in Kashmir

[22:25]many many countries please keep them in in your duas and most

[22:31]importantly we ask Allah to uh again haste in the reappearance of

[22:36]the Imam and make the our actions pleasing to the eyes of

[22:41]the Imam and not make our actions displeasing to Allah subhanahu wa

[22:45]ta'ala into the Imam my dear brothers and sisters please please please

[22:50]comment below uh we definitely would like to hear your input your

[22:55]opinions we want to keep this yes uh brother Abu Haida and

[23:00]myself are having this discussions these discussions through the podcast but this

[23:04]is not just us we're here with the mic but we definitely

[23:08]want you guys to also be involved because this is a group

[23:14]effort awaiting the Imam is not just upon one two three four

[23:16]five people it is upon all of us and please please please
