[17:42]today in tan hospital she was the younger sister of brother Hussein

[17:46]esan maruma will be buried tomorrow please remember her in your duas

[17:51]and if possible recite Nam tomorrow night let's all recite the Surah

[17:58]fa for her soul Al f kindly join me in reciting another

[23:24]day ofah and we have gathered here today to celebrate one of

[23:39]the greatest eids in Islam and that isid Al it is highly

[23:47]recommended that on this day when we meet each other as Believers

[23:53]after the greeting of Salam we should also Express the following ald

[24:18]all praise is due to Allah who has made us amongst those

[24:25]who hold firm to the vah to the Guardianship and the mastership

[24:32]of and the imams of his pren generally Muslims believe that there

[24:49]are two great eids in Islam one is Al and the other

[24:57]isid Al or Eid Al and Friday is also regarded as the

[25:05]day of Eid for the Muslims but for us the sh of

[25:11]in addition to these two or three eids which Muslims believe in

[25:21]there are two other eids as well that is Eid Al which

[25:25]we are celebrating today 18th of and the other is Al which

[25:34]inshallah we will be celebrating on the 24th of in addition to

[25:40]this according to our belief that is the Shia belief is the

[25:50]greatest of all eids and the reason for this is that the

[25:56]other two eids that is and or are regarded as the Festival

[26:11]of the Muslims is celebrated to Mark the end of the holy

[26:16]month of Ramadan to Mark the end of the fasting days and

[26:24]E is marked at the on the 10th of as an end

[26:35]to the Hajj completion of Haj where is we find that it

[26:45]is mentioned in rat in the Traditions that this is this is

[26:51]the Festival of Allah subhanahu waala our sixth Imam Imam it is

[27:10]reported in that he has said that is the greatest Eid of

[27:17]Allah subhanahu wa taala and in another tradition it is reported that

[27:22]a person came to our sixth Imam and asked him do the

[27:29]Believers have any other festival another Eid besides the two in reference

[27:36]to F and and the Imam said yes indeed and that is

[27:41]the Eid of Al that is the day when my grandfather his

[27:56]will his guardianship his mastership was was bound by the holy prophet

[28:00]on all Muslim men and women this is one Rah according to

[28:06]another Rah on all men and women regardless of whether they are

[28:10]Muslims or not and then Imam continued and said therefore is the

[28:18]greatest of all eids similarly we find that there is a re

[28:23]from none other than our eighth holy IM IM Al in which

[28:34]he has said that certainly the day of the day of Al

[28:43]is more famous and popular in the heavens than it is on

[28:51]the earth and any person who regards this day as Superior the

[28:56]Angels do M to him 10 times times on that day so

[29:04]we find that according to us the sh of it is the

[29:06]greatest Eid of all the other eids it is the day of

[29:12]happiness it is the day of rejoicing why is this day called

[29:18]why is it known as the Festival of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[29:25]well it is on this day that the hope and the dream

[29:28]of the kufar and the mushin the faithless and the Poes was

[29:36]shattered and destroyed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in order to understand

[29:42]this we find that the answer actually to this question has been

[29:47]provided to us in Sur which is the ninth chapter of the

[29:52]Holy Quran verse number 32 in which Allah subhanahu [Music] says him

[30:07]and they desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths

[30:14]just as we extinguish candles for example with our mouths Allah is

[30:23]giving the same example here that there are people there are are

[30:30]people who desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths

[30:34]meaning they desire to destroy the desire to extinguish the light of

[30:39]Islam with their [Music] mouths but Allah is intent to perfect his

[30:51]life even though the faithless should be averse they don't like it

[30:59]they despise it they dislike it so it shows that during the

[31:06]days of the holy prophet there were people who are working hard

[31:10]and scheming day in and day out to destroy the religion of

[31:16]Islam they did everything that was possible within their means from the

[31:22]beginning till the end when the holy prophet proclaimed his NB to

[31:25]the people we find that these KU and mush these faithless and

[31:34]polies of qur who are there they found that this is going

[31:39]to be a threat to their business and to their own existence

[31:45]and well-being in this Society they initially trying to buy of they

[31:53]came to bribe him they came to Abu Talib and they said

[31:58]to him what is this uh your nephew is doing tell him

[32:03]to stop and we are willing to give him everything in return

[32:07]whatever he asks for if he wants wealth we will give him

[32:09]wealth if he wants the most beautiful girl in Arabia we will

[32:16]provide him with the most beautiful girl so that he can marry

[32:18]her whatever he ask for in fact he can even bring his

[32:24]God and put him in the Holy Caba where we have 360

[32:27]or 365 God and together with our Gods we will also worship

[32:31]His God but for please tell him to stop going against our

[32:40]Gods denying our gods and promoting his Gods so they tried Abu

[32:43]Talib say that I'm going to ask my nephew about this he

[32:48]called rasool Allah and he said that this is what the qur

[32:51]are saying and it was here that the holy prophet said to

[32:55]them if they put the sun on my right hand and the

[33:06]moon on my left hand so that I live this mission of

[33:10]mine I will never do that so they failed in bribing the

[33:13]prophet so they schemed to kill him they did not succeed in

[33:19]that the holy prophet then had to migrate from Makkah to Madina

[33:23]they tortured his companions they tortured the Muslims who had uh given

[33:30]up their belief in other gods and had believed in the religion

[33:35]of Islam and what not did they do even after the holy

[33:40]prophet migrated they tried to slender him and they fought battles against

[33:45]him and every scheme they came up with against rasool and against

[33:50]Islam they failed in all of them they did not yield any

[33:57]result for them so they lost all their hope but we find

[34:04]that still there was one hope remaining in them and what was

[34:08]that that hope was that let us be patient very soon Muhammad

[34:18]will die and together with him his religion will also die it

[34:25]will finish this was their last hope they said let us be

[34:29]patient a time will soon come when he will have to depart

[34:33]from this world and after that with his death the religion which

[34:39]he has brought will also die on what basis did they have

[34:45]this hope in them two verses they knew that the holy prophet

[34:50]according to them did not have two things and my brothers and

[34:56]sisters this is what I would like you to listen to carefully

[34:59]and understand one they believed that the holy prophet did not have

[35:04]any and two they believe that the holy prophet did not have

[35:14]any khif means what KH means progeny descendant huh Offspring this is

[35:20]the meaning of KH in those days the pagans of qur did

[35:27]not Accord any respect to the women to the female in fact

[35:35]they considered them a source of burden and embarrassment for themselves hence

[35:40]we find that history tells us that they used to bury their

[35:42]female children and they strongly believed that a man's Legacy can only

[35:53]continue through his son and the holy prophet sallallahu alai Ali wasam

[36:00]they knew very well that he had no son and that is

[36:06]why they thought that as soon as he dies there will be

[36:11]nobody after him to carry on with his legacy and hence with

[36:15]him religion of Islam will also die so this is about in

[36:20]fact we find that history tells us that they had given a

[36:26]name to the holy prophet which is alar means one who is

[36:33]uh without descendant without a son who can continue with his legacy

[36:39]and who gave this name Tool Allah a person who was considered

[36:42]as a leader of mush at that time binbin once was entering

[36:54]Masjid Haram and the holy prophet at the same time was coming

[36:59]out so as they crossed over they stopped and conversed for some

[37:03]time they talked to each other for some time at a distance

[37:06]there was a group of quray who are sitting and observing what

[37:12]was happening as soon as the conversation was over as bin came

[37:17]to this group of qur who are seated they asked him or

[37:24]ask who was that man you were talking to and in the

[37:28]most disrespectful and derogative manner he said the abar meaning one who

[37:36]does not have a descendant or one who does not have a

[37:39]son who will continue with his legacy referring to none other than

[37:45]to the toool Allah when the rasool heard this he was hurt

[37:49]he was hurt and we find that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala immediately

[37:58]revealed Surah Al the smallest Surah of the Holy Quran in which

[38:02]he is telling his Prophet indeed we have given to you the

[38:07]K what is this K it means good in abundance and there

[38:13]are different interpretations that have been given to alow but the most

[38:18]authentic of all interpretations agreed unanimously by one and all is that

[38:25]Al is in reference to none other then the one and only

[38:28]beloved daughter of hence we find that there were three things Allah

[38:42]granted to his Prophet at that time because the prophet was Hur

[38:47]what had said the mockery that they had made about the prophet

[38:54]three things Allah granted he granted him Offspring descendant through to his

[39:00]daughter fatimat zah and this was sealed and stamped in the verse

[39:05]of muaha which we are going to celebrate on 24th ofah in

[39:08]which Allah is instructing his beloved Prophet to call alhassan and Al

[39:17]Hussein as AB meaning as our sons this is one of the

[39:19]things which Allah provided him uh to the prophet the second thing

[39:25]which Allah granted to the holy prophet is that the people who

[39:27]are making more y the enemies Allah cut off their posterity and

[39:30]in the same Surah he says indeed it is your enemies who

[39:39]will be without Prosperity without descendants without uh children in this in

[39:43]this life and the third thing what Allah did till the day

[39:49]of judgment he has put a portion in our money in our

[39:52]tax for the support and livelihood for of the progeny of which

[40:00]is known as in which we pay every year to support and

[40:04]his Pro so my brothers and sisters paying of homes by the

[40:09]way is so important those who deny homes they are playing with

[40:12]fire they are playing with fire they should know this this is

[40:18]the H of and if they think that by not paying homes

[40:21]ah they will see prosperity in their children in Arabic we say

[40:28]isn't it you go and eat honey that means you are in

[40:32]your own Dreamland there's to be given before your death and on

[40:37]the day of judgment this is what Allah has granted to his

[40:39]and today you will see mashallah the preny of rasool Allah are

[40:42]spread throughout which are known as Sadat you ask them they will

[40:47]not tell you that we are children of Fatima they will say

[40:50]we are children of rol isn't it too and they are there

[40:57]even amongst the yes there is a whole history why the Sadat

[40:59]became sunnis I do not want to get into it my time

[41:04]is limited but I remember that when we were in Mombasa many

[41:08]Sunni Scholars became Shia there were those who became Shia openly and

[41:12]those who remained in they concealed their faith because they were afraid

[41:19]they had huge family and they didn't want to be thrown out

[41:22]by their family it was in their old age that they had

[41:24]accepted the M of B amongst them there was one Shia scholar

[41:31]Sunni scholar by the name of shami has become shami was our

[41:40]neighbor very close to my father as well so in my first

[41:41]trip from Iran when I came to mabasa in Kenya there were

[41:46]some Scholars who had accompanied me and they had requested that we

[41:50]want to meet up with Sunni Scholars so I asked my father

[41:54]to get us an appointment with sharifi and we got an appointment

[41:57]appointment as soon as we entered his house the scholars who were

[42:02]with me one of them was wearing black turban that means he

[42:05]was a Sayad from the family of rasool and he realized this

[42:10]so what he did immediately he stood up and took us all

[42:13]inside into another room and he shut the room and he shut

[42:18]all the windows and said before you start talking to me before

[42:21]you tell me anything let me tell you that I am also

[42:27]from the preny of rasool Allah I come uh from the I

[42:31]am the descendant of IM this is what he said to us

[42:37]and he took out his old family tree shajar to show us

[42:43]that where he reaches and indeed he belonged to the family of

[42:46]was by the way the swahilis in East Africa one who is

[42:51]say we call say to a person who belongs to the family

[42:56]of rasol Allah but in East Africa to be called Sharif H

[42:59]Sharif means a Sayad I'm not a Sayad by the way my

[43:05]name is Sharif but I'm not that Sharif but Sharif as we

[43:10]say is in reference to the preny of rasool Allah so this

[43:13]is the promise that was fulfilled by Allah subhanahu wa taala uh

[43:17]and the dream and the hope of the kufar and the mush

[43:23]who was shattered regarding regarding descendants and children children of rasool Allah

[43:31]the second Hope was that he has not left any Khalifa although

[43:35]we will find that there are numerous verses of the Holy Quran

[43:40]and uh events in the history of Islam and the Traditions from

[43:43]rol Allah in which clear indications have been given that after rasool

[43:48]Allah the W the guardian and the master of the is going

[43:55]to be there are many such verses in the Holy Quran tradition

[43:58]and events also scattered in in the history of Islam like for

[44:03]example in his he has narrated from none other than abari who

[44:13]has said that one day we were in the Masjid and a

[44:18]beggar came a beggar came and begged nobody responded to him so

[44:22]he looked up towards the sky and said yeah Allah be my

[44:25]witness I came to your house I came to your Masjid and

[44:30]I begged but there is nobody who is willing to help me

[44:33]at that time Amir was in state of R so in he

[44:38]extended his hand as if telling the beggar that you take the

[44:42]ring away from my finger the beggar went forth removed the ring

[44:48]and then he looked up against the up towards the sky and

[44:51]thanked Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and left the place Abu alari said

[44:57]that as soon as completed his Salah he completed his prayers in

[45:01]presence of all those who are there he raised his hand towards

[45:08]towards the sky and said yeah Allah my brother prayed to you

[45:14]and said oh Allah expand my chest and make my Affair easy

[45:23]for me remove the hitch which is there on my tongue so

[45:26]that people understand what I am going to tell them and through

[45:34]him strengthen my back and Associate him in my Affairs you delighted

[45:39]his heart by giving him his brother Haron as his Minister as

[45:47]his successor now Delight my heart from amongst my Kinsmen appoint Ali

[45:53]as my successor as my vice Sant and Abu says that immediately

[45:57]after this this verse of the Holy Quran was revealed in which

[46:01]the term W meaning master and guardian has been clearly mentioned indeed

[46:21]Allah is your W he is your guardian and his Prophet now

[46:26]not only and those who have brought but Ya Allah there are

[46:29]so many who are claiming to be M and said no wait

[46:32]those who keep up with Salat and those who give zakat while

[46:35]they are in state of Ru you find this in this ay

[46:41]the the ofir is and the MU and the Shia mu are

[46:47]all unanimous that this is in favor of none other than Al

[46:50]you know uh here we give aan within the four walls the

[46:55]the sound does not go out but in some countries Muslim countries

[46:58]and in African countries and India Pakistan normally we give aan and

[47:03]everybody hears in public the aan Muslims or nonm Muslims they're all

[47:07]here and people who go on the loudspeaker to give aan when

[47:17]they come to they put additional Praises of also some of them

[47:24]also say huh they they add so one of the Sunni Scholars

[47:31]one day told a Shia scholar he said why is it that

[47:35]in your Adan when you are talking about when you are mentioning

[47:38]Allah you do not a add his Praises when you are talking

[47:44]abouto you just say muham you don't add his Praises but when

[47:47]it comes to Ali you put so many Praises of him the

[47:51]scholar immediately responded he said this is the Sunnah of Allah Allah

[47:54]himself has done that h indeed your W is Allah Allah has

[47:59]not put additional Praises for himself and his Prophet but when it

[48:03]comes to Ali Allah is describing him with other attributes as well

[48:15]so we find that there is a place where it has been

[48:22]mentioned when this verse of the Holy Quran was revealed oh you

[48:29]who believe obey Allah and obey his prophet and those who are

[48:33]amongst you are those people who have been vested with authority over

[48:40]you when this verse was revealed ja abdah asked he said you

[48:45]have introduced Allah and yourself to us but who are these whose

[48:50]whose obedience is equal to your obedience andol said and listen to

[48:55]this he said they are my successors and they are the imams

[49:07]of the Muslims after me the foremost of them is and then

[49:17]he said he said and the fifth one is Muhammad Ali one

[49:30]who is popularly known inat as Al this is what the prophet

[49:37]said and oh jabir you are the one who is going to

[49:41]meet him when you meet him convey my Salam to him and

[49:44]thereafter the prophet continued he said that after him it will be

[49:50]ja Muhammad then Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ali and then the prophet stopped

[49:57]and he said that after him the my successor will be he

[50:04]whose name and his K will be my name and my K

[50:05]Allah is going to put him in occultation in and when he

[50:11]reemerges he is going to fill the Earth with fairness and equality

[50:15]with Justice after it has been filled with inequality and Injustice ja

[50:28]said ohol Allah how is he going to guide the people when

[50:33]he is going to be in occultation he said oh jab his

[50:36]guidance is going to reach the people just as sun when it

[50:41]is behind the clouds still it's light people benefit from it similarly

[50:44]people are going to benefit with the existence of my so we

[50:51]will find that there are riat different on different occasion the prophet

[50:56]has introduced the imams but e is the place of final and

[51:04]Universal Proclamation and it is an undeniable the people have played with

[51:08]all the other Traditions but when it comes to all of them

[51:11]are unanimous that this was for none other than Ali it is

[51:17]for none after the completion of his last Hajj I'm not going

[51:22]to go into details two years ago I had recited M and

[51:24]we did T of the verse of so I'm not going to

[51:29]go back into it after the completion of his Hajj the first

[51:32]and the last Hajj of his life was returning from Makkah he

[51:37]arrives at a place where there is a pond known as this

[51:55]is Ina is near JEA this is the place and it used

[51:59]to be a junction where the huaj would come and they would

[52:01]disperse from that place the prophet arrives there he sees the signs

[52:04]of as if the Revelation is to come he immediately encamps there

[52:11]and jbra descends with this verse famous verse each and every child

[52:17]of our community must know this verse Oh The Prophet deliver what

[52:26]has been sent down upon you from your Rob from your lord

[52:31]and if you do not do that it will be as though

[52:58]it is said that this is the third time it was revealed

[53:01]huh the first time part of it was revealed the prophet tried

[53:04]but the Muslims were trying to avoid but here nobody when this

[53:10]Ayah was finally revealed in its totality in this immediately instructs that

[53:20]a member be made of the Saddles of camels and he asked

[53:25]the people who have one ahead should be called back those who

[53:28]are behind should be told to hurry back and as soon as

[54:54]he posed this question don't I have authority over you more than

[55:02]you have authority over yourselves try and understand this sentence you will

[55:06]understand the authority of Imam over us and together they said of

[55:15]course Yool Allah you have more authority over us than we have

[55:19]upon ourselves in that case he took the hand of Ali and

[55:24]raised it so high so high that that all the historians have

[55:28]written that the white hair of the armpit of rasool could be

[55:32]seen by one and all it was in a valy so The

[55:37]Voice Was Heard by each and everyone present over there whoever's MAA

[55:57]I am now you decide what does MOA mean ifol is your

[56:03]MOA and you consider him as a friend then Ali will be

[56:07]your friend but if you consider rasool Allah as your guide as

[56:10]your guardian as your master then the holy prophet has said that

[56:16]Ali is going to be the same for you as well having

[56:17]said this the prophet then told Ali to sit in the tent

[56:23]and then he asked all the Muslims present there yeah he is

[56:33]the only one to be given the title of Amir by the

[56:37]prophet the others were given by banay and Banu Abbas only one

[56:45]to be given directly go and give your to your master and

[56:50]they Lin up and in the Forefront there were people who are

[57:00]standing and say congratulations to you congratulations to your son of Abu

[57:08]Talib you have become my MOA and the Moa of all Muslims

[57:12]men and women when this happened verse number three now listen to

[57:18]this the second hope of the and the was shattered the verse

[57:25]was revealed in Arabic you say can be any day but when

[57:33]you say it means today those the faithless have despaired from your

[57:50]religion despaired Allah is saying dream shattered isn't it huh their hope

[57:55]has been shattered said so do not fear them fear me today

[58:05]I have perfected your religion for you and I have completed my

[58:13]favors upon you and I have approved Islam to be your religion

[58:19]till the day of till the day of judgment yes yes Isa

[58:28]huh despair losing hope hope being shattered dream being shattered you know

[58:35]am serm 192 has used this word yes which means to despare

[58:44]to lose hope for whom in this he discusses his close relationship

[58:50]with rasool and he says that I was always there withas when

[58:54]Divine Revelations were coming to him in the cave of H this

[59:01]is Imam Ali mentioning here and I could see the light of

[59:05]divine revelation and I could feel the scent of NB the prophethood

[59:09]this is what Imam saying and when the Divine Revelations were coming

[59:15]I heard the cry I heard a cry I had heard as

[59:18]if somebody was mourning and wailing so I asked yahool Allah who

[59:21]is this who is mourning and crying and rasool Allah said this

[59:31]isan who has despaired who has lost hope why because people are

[59:38]no longer going to worship him and then Imam continues and says

[59:41]that the prophet Saidi you can hear what I hear you can

[59:49]see what I can see but know that you are not a

[59:56]prophet but you are my successor you are my wife and you

[60:04]are on Truth H and here after the appointment of Amir Allah
