[0:03][Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] the Holy Prophet peace be upon him
[1:48]is family in this tradition gives us the recipe is to defeat
[1:52]death tell you there are three recipes which you have to employ
[1:57]which you have to death and be victorious on the day of
[2:04]judgment that that will grab these recipes with both arms the tradition
[2:09]famous tradition accepted by all schools and the religion of Islam the
[2:14]Holy Prophet be upon him and his family stays that when a
[2:18]person dies all of their deeds and except for three those three
[2:26]without a doubt other secrets to overcoming and defeating and making sure
[2:32]that we're victorious when we face death that we could literally look
[2:36]at death and say that those three boxes we have ticked these
[2:40]three all relate to the legacy that you leave behind after you
[2:47]die because you find that if you were to ask yourself a
[2:50]question now left behind if you were to passed away in an
[2:57]hour or so left behind which is going to be beneficial not
[3:00]only for yourself but for Humanity at large because irrespective whether you're
[3:06]a Muslim or anonymous a believer or non-believer each and every one
[3:12]of us wants to make sure that we've left behind the legacy
[3:18]which is therefore the service of our family all of the very
[3:21]least for the service of humanity dodj I don't want to leave
[3:27]this world without having left something behind where I'm able to serve
[3:35]humanity Islam gives a wonderful recipe for how we should've lived our
[3:39]lives as human beings live amongst the people that's if they if
[3:43]you die they weep over you but when you're alive they crave
[3:49]for your company while we're alive we may have many who crave
[3:52]for our company but when we die we want to have reached
[3:57]the stage where there are people out there who truly shed tears
[4:00]but at the same time are able to use some of the
[4:06]legacy that we've left behind I don't want to leave a legacy
[4:09]behind where I have left something which is harmful to humanity something
[4:14]which is not beneficial to humanity something that cannot be used by
[4:19]those in difficult circumstances I want to make sure that's what I
[4:25]left behind whether I believe in God or not whether I believe
[4:28]there's a day of accountability or not is that which is going
[4:33]to be beneficial for Humanity because we were created free even if
[4:37]we don't believe in God on the day of judgement then let
[4:42]our actions at least be actions where a person can say that
[4:46]that's hospital or that for example theory whether in science or in
[4:51]literature is something that I've left behind which is going to be
[4:54]beneficial that death can never erase my memory and that's why the
[5:02]Nobel Peace Prize the Nobel Peace Prize is arguably the most famous
[5:06]prize in the world today that Nobel Peace Prize has an interesting
[5:10]story regarding its founder Alfred Nobel was Swedish his younger brother Ludwig
[5:17]had died when Ludwig died on his way to can you find
[5:24]that the obituary and the newspaper thought it was Alfred Nobel who
[5:28]had died so what did they write they wrote The Merchant of
[5:32]death dies why because Alfred Nobel what was his legacy had he
[5:39]died on that day so was his brother Ludwig who died but
[5:41]they made a mistake and they thought it was Alfred what was
[5:45]his legacy he was known as a person who had taught people
[5:48]how to produce and use military explosives military explosives that's the legacy
[5:55]that I leave behind what does that benefit humanity how does military
[6:01]explosives or Wars generally benefits humanity at large when Alfred Nobel saw
[6:07]the article a newspaper saying The Merchant of death has died he
[6:12]was stunned because he thought to himself is this the way humanity
[6:15]saw me is this the way the world viewed me so my
[6:21]legacy had I really died and it wasn't my brother Ludwig then
[6:24]it would be a case that everybody would have remembered me as
[6:30]a person who's left nothing behind nothing useful for Humanity telling them
[6:35]how to make military explosives and what do military explosives drew about
[6:40]bring more savagery and into the life of the human being so
[6:43]straightaway you found within seven years or so he had written in
[6:50]his will that I want to make sure that there is a
[6:51]certain sum allocated to those who produce for example in the world
[6:59]of chemistry or in the world of physiology or in the world
[7:03]of literature so that humanity continues to grow humanity continues to progress
[7:08]at that time the man was worth something along the lines of
[7:12]thirty two million kroner which at that time over 100 years ago
[7:18]was over one-and-a-half million pounds and you found that the man wanted
[7:22]to make sure that he left a legacy behind I'm not gonna
[7:24]let that grave erase my memory I won't let that grave be
[7:30]a grave that finishes me I want to make sure that I
[7:35]die if there is a day of accountability if there is somewhere
[7:38]where my soul continues to develop then let me make sure that
[7:43]I've left a legacy behind imagine now how long is it since
[7:45]the Nobel Peace Prize and the distribution of it and Alfred Nobel's
[7:49]life over a hundred years where physiology chemistry literature prizes have been
[7:58]awarded for the betterment of humanity therefore the one hand he realized
[8:02]that I can defeat death if my body may go under the
[8:04]ground but my name Alfred Nobel and my legacy can continue forever
[8:11]likewise I found others for example in my own experiences they may
[8:15]have died a few years ago but their legacy continued you defeat
[8:19]death with sets and deeds which were sort of lhasa allow anyone
[8:25]I'll come to in a second said these are the ones that
[8:27]continue even after you've died I remember Azad in Daraa Salaam our
[8:33]beloved brother ándara Salaam jamaat in East Africa what was he known
[8:36]for while he was alive has Salah watch as that Salawat would
[8:41]be a father watch which would be louder than a plane searching
[8:45]down in Tanzania at the time that man after he died you
[8:50]remember because of a Salah watch you remember the beauty of a
[8:53]Salah watch do we remember anything because there are some of us
[8:57]if we die today what will we be known for will be
[8:58]known as the people who all they did was slander the community
[9:03]all they did was cause mischief and break people's relations all they
[9:08]did was send whatsapp messages around defaming each other all they did
[9:13]was saying our way is the highway everybody else you either with
[9:17]us or against us all they did was show abuse towards people
[9:22]who they did not agree with that's your legacy you go under
[9:26]the ground and that is what your legacy is the Holy Prophet
[9:29]peace be upon his family wanted us to realize that we can
[9:32]defeat death how many times four years we were listening to modulus
[9:38]where the aim was to scare us but tell us how do
[9:43]we defeat death there must be a recipe for defeating Shaitaan there
[9:47]must be a recipe for defeating the diseases of the soul likewise
[9:51]there must be a recipe for this for this particular area in
[9:58]this hadith he summarized it and I like to examine it tonight
[10:00]and I'd like to do this in the following stages number one
[10:03]which I of the Holy Quran highlighted is that the ever abiding
[10:10]good works you leave behind have more reward with Allah subhana WA
[10:14]Ta'ala number two the holy prophets first stop the deeds that he
[10:19]said peace be upon him his family continues even after we die
[10:26]how did it relate to endowment of areas which are mentioned under
[10:31]walk of and charity number three how important is it that we
[10:35]leave behind a legacy of an element and is that helm reserved
[10:42]only for the ulema of religion or can it be in other
[10:48]areas number four of the utmost importance how beneficial is the prayers
[10:54]of our righteous offspring for us and how can we who have
[10:59]lost our family members make sure that we continue to look after
[11:05]them and their legacy wherever they are in the world of bizarre
[11:08]through the way we pray for them and through at the same
[11:13]time the acts that we perform with the swab going to them
[11:16]let's examine this and dissect the topic in complete depth if a
[11:22]person was to ask about how to leave a legacy and its
[11:24]importance within the Holy Quran you find the ayah is very clear
[11:30]where and so little care surah 18 of the holy quran verse
[11:33]number 46 Allah subhana WA Ta'ala tells us bismillah ar-rahman ar-rahim and
[11:38]maloo Wellborn una zi natural high at dunya your wealth and your
[11:47]children are the Zeenat are the adornment of this world put out
[11:50]one may ask the question why does wealth come ahead of children
[11:53]when it comes to zina what is Allah say albin while my
[11:58]Zeenat Al Hayat why does it say el Malo well Ben Yuna
[12:03]Z natural high at dunya it's because the way you display your
[12:07]adornments in this world tend to be through your wealth more than
[12:11]your children yes if you're buying your child Effendi jumper or you're
[12:17]buying your daughter for example or Gucci tracksuit or you're buying the
[12:23]morale Florin for example polo shirts that may be a way of
[12:27]displaying for example one's adornment in their children but the reality is
[12:32]that the first adornment that we have in this world is our
[12:36]wealth there's nothing wrong in this world with a person having a
[12:40]legacy for example of being wealthy as in in our community sometimes
[12:43]when a family is wealthy you find some are jealous and some
[12:49]are insecure when they see the wealthy jealous that they cannot take
[12:54]that that family has more wealth than them they ask themselves that
[12:57]why do they haven't we George and they reach a level of
[13:03]a job where they begin to say that I pray and fast
[13:04]more than them why is Allah given them don't question who allah
[13:07]subhana wa ta'ala gives you just admit a llama and noah lazily
[13:13]and won't be mauled by a recipe that's it don't start questioning
[13:16]where allah puts his the res Allah wants to give someone wealth
[13:21]person has their trial with their wealth no doubt because our mind
[13:27]and our banwen are Xena but they also fitnah their a trial
[13:30]that person has certain taxes to pay with that wealth has to
[13:35]purify their world has to make sure there's a certain amount given
[13:38]back towards the community towards his Lord in different ways but you
[13:43]found that the Quran said Allah Malu al-mal our wealth is a
[13:47]form of sina for us well balloon and our children as well
[13:53]no doubt our a form of zina for us if I enter
[13:54]a mosque I want to be proud that those are my sons
[13:58]oh that's my daughter's the biggest humiliation for a father is when
[14:04]their sons and daughters are far from the path of elevates allah
[14:07]jalla wa sallam ala him and that's why the quran says you
[14:09]have a responsibility of protecting yourselves and your families from being the
[14:16]very stones of the hell of the hereafter you can't blame anyone
[14:22]else yes you have to be of those who say is a
[14:23]me I am the one I Allah happy I'm the one who
[14:29]protect the family of my father I am the one like mr.
[14:33]Lance sought to protect his family as much as he could therefore
[14:35]we have in mind well Bannon and Manuel bananas E natural hyah
[14:43]- Tania that this world of Junia our Xena that we have
[14:46]around us is our wealth and our children is that enough to
[14:55]defeat dares maybe but not completely because the Quran said what you
[14:59]want to know what defeats death sometimes you have to realize Kevin
[15:02]has no pockets you may have as great amount of wealth but
[15:06]there's no pockets in your calf and so wealth is not necessarily
[15:12]gonna defeat and the children know always defeat death however well Bhatia
[15:16]- sorry heart Allah and never abiding good deeds well Batiatus sorry
[15:24]hi Johan and Arabica so Alban what Chiron amela that the good
[15:29]deed they're ever abiding good deeds are better in the eyes of
[15:36]your Lord and their reward an expectation is greater no to say
[15:40]at last Montana tells us that don't sing just because your naturist
[15:43]bank balance closes when you're in the club or or that your
[15:49]Barclays bank balance closes when you're in the tub or or your
[15:51]HSBC or Bank of America all the other accounts all closed when
[15:56]you on the table or yes those accounts close there's another account
[16:02]back there - sorry heart that account of those good deeds you
[16:07]left which continue to give because there is that which you give
[16:12]that keeps on giving even if you go under the ground Alfred
[16:16]Nobel the Nobel Peace Prize is announced every and people remember how
[16:24]important you realized that a person dies with a legacy not some
[16:28]military explosives but a legacy that served humanity likewise with me when
[16:33]the Koran says al manuel bananas in actual hyatt dunya was Sally
[16:36]well Batiatus Allah add say Iran and Arabic as alive and well
[16:42]hi Ron Amala I realize that what I leave behind tonight whether
[16:45]it's in my will or in any other way that's gonna ensure
[16:50]that I look at death and say come I've still got deeds
[16:53]which are overflowing where I'm ready to face death at any moment
[16:58]because you found that on this basically I've read Quran even mentions
[17:06]in real motor when x2 mama Pat demo what a Sarah home
[17:08]what kulla shay'in Athena who fear mommy mabini what does the Quran
[17:15]say on soul of 36 verse number 12 that we are the
[17:17]ones who give life to the dead what is written is what
[17:22]they've sent forth and what has continued in their prints after they've
[17:26]died I may have died but if there's a particular building Hospital
[17:31]charity those I can stand for me and that's where the Holy
[17:36]Prophet peace be upon him mention wonderfully and his family when he
[17:42]said that it no Adam if the son of Adam dies what
[17:44]happens in kata I'm a new home his deeds end except 3
[17:51]my Prophet peace be upon him is giving me the recipe he's
[17:58]telling me don't worry about death but cover these three tracks you
[18:02]cover those three tracks you look forward to death look forward to
[18:06]shaking the hands of Gibran and it's Rafael and Israel monka nakir
[18:10]sit with them chill with them because your bank balance is gonna
[18:18]be flying in the earth right when you finish these three which
[18:22]three and I'd like everybody in sha allah from tonight to one
[18:27]way or the other work on at least two of these three
[18:28]because to complete all three you'd have to be in a real
[18:33]position of risk from allah subhanaw taala noise that one but let's
[18:37]try and go through the three the first of them sadakatsu on
[18:39]chariots on an ongoing charity because i may die yes and an
[18:48]hour's time in a year but what have I left behind that
[18:53]is helping the people around the world because an ongoing charity can
[18:59]either help my community or can help all the Muslims irrespective of
[19:03]whether they in my mother mono or can help humanity at large
[19:06]as Imam Ali Matar got Islam says people are of two types
[19:09]they either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity therefore
[19:16]when I come to a sadaqa jariya a sadaqa jariya can be
[19:20]achieved in a number of ways first way I can ensure that
[19:26]I endow a particular charitable gift or donation which is gonna be
[19:32]only for the service of the community because I always stipulate that's
[19:37]in the laws of rapid mentions under the chapter for example of
[19:41]work or the chapter of in doubt endowments mentions that you have
[19:50]to stipulate that for example this building that I'm giving say you
[19:52]want to give a building back to humanity is it the land
[19:58]that you're giving or the building only because what happens if they
[20:03]demolish the building if it's the building only then the land can
[20:07]be moved on but what happens if it is the land and
[20:11]the building and you have to stipulate that is this for the
[20:17]Muslim community at large only your own mother happy and there are
[20:22]two different types of endowments lack of Tahari is the particular endowment
[20:27]when you build a mosque the house of allah subhana wa ta'ala
[20:31]that endowment work of Tahiry you're giving towards holy to Allah subhana
[20:37]WA Ta'ala because when you come to that there may be other
[20:43]houses of worship where people come together to recite the Quran but
[20:47]not stipulated and message may be stipulations are Messala may be stipulated
[20:51]as a whole seining yeah maybe stipulated as an imam bargah because
[20:55]these are the most wonderful places for us to build but a
[21:00]message it comes under the category of work of jihad area that
[21:04]goes directly and open the moment someone prays there then it's established
[21:09]as a walk off Tahiry without there being for example amo la
[21:14]whereas when it comes to Hosseini yeah or it comes to a
[21:21]particular Imam bargah then that no you will have the work of
[21:24]the person who has in doubt then you may have after that
[21:29]the category of the line of the work of the actual building
[21:35]and then you may have the most of all a a particular
[21:36]group assigned to for example be the custodians of that area irrespective
[21:41]when I leave behind this building like a Masjid every time somebody
[21:48]says Allahu Akbar then you'll find the so up comes to me
[21:55]and people are like bro you know what how's it gonna be
[21:57]after we die if every single time it goes Chicka Chicka Chicka
[22:02]Chicka Chicka allahu akbar allahu akbar allah allah muhammad wa ala muhammad
[22:07]subhana rabbi l-alamin subhana Allah Solana muhammad ash-hadu anla ilaha illallah wahdahu
[22:13]la every single person who is reciting Salah in that message it
[22:18]to are in that message it for the heart in that message
[22:22]it that Huaraz coming to your bank balance tell me which a
[22:27]bank account is able to count the blessings of Allah likewise you
[22:30]cannot count that amount of rewards that you get by establishing in
[22:36]the work of ji Dai message someone says what say in a
[22:37]do you know how much it cost to make a message in
[22:40]there are certain parts of the world it costs you no more
[22:42]than two hundred thousand dollars and there are parts of the world
[22:48]five million and there are parts of the world ten million I
[22:50]know for example now the Haider a Islamic Center they've purchased them
[22:54]as Jude in South London four and a half they purchased a
[22:59]piece of land with the planning permission four and a half million
[23:02]pounds four and a half million pounds the community can easily get
[23:05]together they can give that it's a Sadiq Acharya for you every
[23:09]time there is a salade Gemara there it's yours o ah I
[23:12]know likewise you find other mosques in the world to establish one
[23:15]to ten million 20 million do you know that we have the
[23:20]lovers of any base in South America many of not visited them
[23:23]we have lovers of elevates in Mexico lovers of elements in Costa
[23:29]Rica lovers of elevates in Brazil lovers of elevate in Argentina we
[23:33]have lovers of elevates in South Africa we have lovers of Ahlul
[23:36]Bayt all around the world there are parts of South Africa and
[23:42]America you want to endow a mystery remember this message is not
[23:45]moving on to be sold with what off you don't go on
[23:49]to sell this walk off you may replace it if there are
[23:51]damages and use it for some other usage in the sense of
[23:55]replacing the damaged building and gets a new one but it cost
[23:58]you a couple hundred thousand dollars to establish a Masjid for the
[24:02]lovers of elevate there maybe only 50 60 of them in Mexico
[24:06]City tell me that couple of hundred thousand that you give that
[24:10]defeats death why because when you come true facing death you could
[24:14]say that look here is my bank balance my bank balance is
[24:20]that we established it that's a Nia for example that in Mombasa
[24:24]every time there is a mattress and muharram in the watch and
[24:27]the Shahadah then the swab goes to you when you see for
[24:33]example there are certain massage it in the world today that are
[24:36]named after some Ola ma these massages that's are named after these
[24:41]Rolla ma those who Lama until today they may be under the
[24:45]grave if I see say Chloe may Allah bless his soul is
[24:49]under the grave but when you hear a message it named after
[24:51]him then you know that straight away that so I will continue
[24:58]in his honor because of establishing that woke up so we have
[25:02]sadaqa to engeri at you know that is the first recipe either
[25:04]a Masjid or for example zhenya or Imam bargah but a building
[25:10]doesn't have to be for these things as one a person can
[25:15]also endow a building donate a building for example for a shelter
[25:19]for ladies or children who have been physically abused or emotionally abused
[25:25]you have for example how many ladies there are out there have
[25:30]been physically abused by their husbands slapped beaten kicked whipped and how
[25:35]many places could they go to endow a place where somebody who's
[25:41]homeless or fears for their life can go to What did he
[25:43]say that Khadija was say that's why he just follow allah assalamu
[25:48]alayka who we remembered inshallah tomorrow night say it as a teacher
[25:52]the ladies whose baby daughters were being buried alive would come to
[25:56]and say please we need shelter i before i die can leave
[26:01]a house a home for people who may be physically abused emotionally
[26:05]abused children were being the victims of abuse from pedophilia a house
[26:10]where they could go securely knowing that they're not gonna be hurt
[26:14]I leave that as a legacy there is table in that row
[26:18]and the Quran says Alma Lou albano Nazi natural high at atonia
[26:20]well bad they are Charlie hi Johanna and Arab because o Aden
[26:26]was hired on M Allah the Quran was saying to us that's
[26:28]a second type of build not just a building another form of
[26:32]Johnny what is it another form build a well do you think
[26:38]that when we live in London water so easy our children can
[26:41]sometimes become so spoilt or complacent when it comes to water not
[26:47]realizing that there are parts of the world they have to walk
[26:50]miles to get clean water if I build the well or build
[26:56]the system where the water for them is purified then even though
[27:00]I might have died I still have left a legacy behind that
[27:04]every time someone takes a sip of water then where I am
[27:11]continues to shine with more and more and more and more of
[27:16]the angels of the Lord smile and my liquor with Allah Santana
[27:19]becomes a leper where I face my Lord in a way where
[27:23]I could say that I left something for Humanity sad one of
[27:25]the Companions of the Holy Prophets woman's family had gone to the
[27:28]battlefield on his way back he heard that his mother had died
[27:33]he said Allah my mother has passed away peace be upon you
[27:35]and your family what can I give in charity that looks after
[27:41]my mother now that she has died Holy Prophet peace be upon
[27:44]him said on our way there were many soldiers who were thirsty
[27:49]evil well build a well whoever drinks from that well the fog
[27:52]goes to your mum someone thinks that when their mom's died that's
[27:54]it what do you mean disobedience to one's mother can come in
[28:01]life and death disobedience to one's father can come in life and
[28:06]death if you forget them after they've died then you are disobedient
[28:09]to them there are many a Heidi that I like disobedience can
[28:12]me that you didn't look after them after they died how do
[28:19]I look after them either much I've no atom and the first
[28:22]article Jerry so we have on one hand establishing a building where
[28:26]people are able to come closer to Allah Allah second I can
[28:33]establish a well that's well people drink from the waiter the wife
[28:38]of haroon rasheed zubeida built a canal that you could go from
[28:43]cool fur to Hajj and drink water from research the canals and
[28:49]the water wells of Zubaydah for judge until recently to drink water
[28:54]because of Zubaydah and what was the basis of Zubaydah giving this
[28:58]not just that she wanted her bank balance to defeat death but
[29:02]she realized Lantana Lalibela had certain fipple mimma to her born you'll
[29:08]never achieve righteousness until you give away that which you love the
[29:14]most she had loved the particular photon that had rubies and emeralds
[29:17]all around she gave it away she gave away from my wealth
[29:19]to build wealth so that people were able to come and water
[29:27]those wells 1400 kilometers of wells for those on the path towards
[29:32]Hajj every single time someone took a sip of water they were
[29:35]helped so we have buildings gets us closer to allowing massage it
[29:40]for say Nia's we have for example the building of the world's
[29:44]the building's shelter you also have buildings which you can leave as
[29:48]an endowment for jeff seal of the Holy Quran and memorization of
[29:54]the whole Quran because sometimes we neglect the Holy Quran and we
[29:58]don't realize just how you can defeat death when you leave something
[30:02]behind associated with the Holy Quran how many Institute's of Holy Quran
[30:10]learning and memorization and tej Whedon 10t land have served we have
[30:17]at the moment in London or in North America I asked you
[30:20]can you name me an institution which is dedicated on the first
[30:25]level to the memorization of the Holy Quran on the second level
[30:34]dedicated toward dedicated to TFC and tera till then we'll then Ted
[30:39]we'd have a looker you find our brothers in other schools in
[30:43]Islam have established this and its nominee an endowment the person says
[30:48]I endow this I'm not gonna have a fight with you guys
[30:51]about for example whether this remains with our family or not endow
[30:55]this there's a custodian he'll look over it but make sure that
[31:00]this is used specifically for the memorization and the treachery of the
[31:04]Holy Quran you fear death do you know where this will take
[31:06]you when Rasulullah sallallahu said that sadaqa jariya ongoing charity doesn't end
[31:12]in the eyes of allah subhanaw taala you may be under the
[31:17]ground the moment suppose a mere scene while quran Hakim motho ah
[31:20]the moon says I'm an animal more throw up Alif Lam Meem
[31:26]dalek al-kitab la raya v1l our national moth or every surah that's
[31:30]recited in that ma Qaeda that Institute which you have in doubt
[31:38]that you've endowed it and so what off no one can go
[31:40]on unless they recognize that this has been locked for the community
[31:50]benefit for the community the community all come and use it that's
[31:52]why sometimes we see people donate Quran says walk off on it
[31:54]donate your book says walk off on it an endowment for their
[31:59]Sadiq Acharya to continue therefore you found that if I build an
[32:03]institute what else can I do an orphanage do you know in
[32:09]Syria today in Iraq today in Yemen today in other parts of
[32:12]the world do you know how many orphans there are you endow
[32:18]you sponsor and orphan and we have organizations who do amazing work
[32:21]you have the Lady Fatima trust has done absolutely brilliant work the
[32:25]Sahara Trust has done great work you find for example the World
[32:31]Federation has done great work and number of organizations work their socks
[32:35]off to look after the needy the orphan when you give towards
[32:37]them don't think that you know watch I'm a bit short now
[32:43]it's coronavirus that you know what if I give now it's not
[32:45]the same as when I'm gonna be very strong when the economy
[32:50]gets stronger Allah rewards when you give in good times but especially
[32:54]when you give and tough furthermore when you endow for example a
[32:58]fellowship or a chair or an institute in the name of Muhammad
[33:03]Muhammad sallallahu wasallam why am i in a prestigious academic institution you
[33:08]endow for example a department in the name of imam ali so
[33:12]I'm like we did with the Hartford seminary the Imam Ali chair
[33:16]of shia is studies and dialogue amongst Islamic legal schools anyone who
[33:21]goes there whoever contributed there is a reward for them when they
[33:25]die anyone who goes there learns about a little bit Salah watch
[33:28]allah wa salam ala ma you have to say that a teacher
[33:32]fellowship or she a study is where our beloved chef known as
[33:34]the visiting fellow at cambridge another area which is established you have
[33:40]for some of the global she has some development program at Harvard
[33:44]you may die but every single time someone benefits from your charity
[33:50]that you gave or from the rewards of a person learning Michelle
[33:53]base a lot of loss at Emily him are that goes back
[33:57]towards you therefore whatever salah say that adam adam no adam what
[34:01]happens in qatar a man who lands allah the first sadaqa jariya
[34:08]what was the second the second was of the utmost importance it's
[34:12]said and beneficial knowledge that the people benefit from yes because that
[34:22]is without a doubt something which brings you a mensch reward i
[34:30]our school of you how many of you hear names of ulama
[34:32]in modulus who died years back how many of you when you
[34:37]hear names of the likes of cheryl cole a knee or chef
[34:42]a fedora or share her oh you hear the names of our
[34:47]lamb LOL shahida sunny you hear the names of these scholars such
[34:51]as a lamb emergency or hotel Emily or myself a sky Shani
[34:57]when you hear their names those names that you hear those names
[35:01]those people died so many years ago every time they're mentioned in
[35:05]a Majlis in a documentary subhanAllah that reward continues for them that
[35:13]reward is a translation of nor in the world of Barossa it
[35:18]gives them peace the Talib is Salim when it meets its Lord
[35:20]they realize that the Xena was the Milan by known of this
[35:24]world but that day all my life well a banana laminates a
[35:28]lot of pulp in Sally a man those names of those ala
[35:32]ma when they've been left behind those Hanauma their books until today
[35:36]when someone opens al-kafi or Cheryl Cole a mean straight away so
[35:39]up to him when someone opens man layin for fear of share
[35:43]a sidewalk or there are eunuchs battle robots on all the high
[35:48]side of Chicago which goes on to mention more than three recipes
[35:52]for success that's when someone dies their deeds end with them except
[35:56]three there's a mention of six - but we'll try and summarize
[36:01]them when you open the books of chefs at all when you
[36:03]open chef or pause you on the one level if you open
[36:06]at FC or shares at OC like the tip behind or you
[36:09]open a book of felt like that's a team all ideas tips
[36:11]are you open I'll demonstrate your shade lol I roll over here
[36:16]your shade it's Annie oh you open them a kasib of on
[36:20]sod oh you open all of these texts that be hard of
[36:22]majlisi the West I love 800 Emily when you open saddest attic
[36:28]of faith Kashani and you come to open for example the share
[36:34]of the great sex produced by the likes of Mohammed suckle Madrasi
[36:41]Alma's and irani or you come and open these books the so
[36:44]up goes to these they've left beneficial knowledge behind and that's what
[36:48]I need to focus on what beneficial knowledge of I left behind
[36:51]someone might say say it now listen those people Lama they leave
[36:57]beneficial Ellen behind it's obvious that they're gonna get so up what
[37:02]can I do even a story book for children that is something
[37:04]if you leave it behind and one child smiles upon the memory
[37:09]of Mohammed Mohammed allah assalamu alaykum then the so up goes to
[37:14]you you write an article which benefits society the so up goes
[37:17]to you you organize the lecture and that lecture is spread everywhere
[37:23]that's a web comes back to you for the love of God
[37:25]you see the likes of Shama Delhi Alomar Ishita Robbie they died
[37:32]now over 15 20 30 years back but how many times you
[37:35]see people referring to them a chalice even though they've died even
[37:39]if you give a mattress for six-year-olds 12 year olds 15 year
[37:44]olds don't think all of us now in our position started where
[37:47]we are we started by giving modulus to teens when we were
[37:50]a teen and then Allah opened the doors of Ezard is not
[37:55]from us but if somebody benefits after you die that you have
[38:02]a list of articles a website all of that is beneficial knowledge
[38:05]and know one thing that scholars like I told back on Sutherland
[38:08]I am a Allah bless his soul someone like Muhammad box out
[38:13]of southern what do you have with him when he leaves behind
[38:16]texts and fair also lil like the helipad there is a great
[38:19]reward when a person studies the halaqa no doubt but at the
[38:25]same time said Mohamed Mukhtar sluggard highlighted to us that the foam
[38:30]on these areas is not restricted to only house o illegal text
[38:33]books I can write for example a book on let's say I
[38:39]leave behind a book addressing the atheist ideology in my period addressing
[38:46]economic concepts in my period our philosophy and our economy those books
[38:52]were not books which one would recognize as for example the same
[38:56]as the highlight of southern or the same as for example a
[39:00]shot of the Ottawa or for example a hash e on the
[39:04]Mac Assad no but those are texts which were left behind so
[39:08]that there were people around like his sister mental Hooda may Allah
[39:12]bless her soul she wrote novels a novel which allowed you to
[39:18]understand the religion the principles religion but this is a love story
[39:22]but a person understood certain key concepts it doesn't have to be
[39:26]a filthy text it doesn't be an election one of thousands that
[39:29]it couldn't be something whether people benefit even if it's something which
[39:33]is what infl be a nurse not a Muslim in noted manin
[39:39]not a Shia not a sinner a nurse I live behind something
[39:42]on biomedical ethics I leave behind something on morality I leave behind
[39:47]someone on the upbringing of children I leave behind something on the
[39:50]homeless and the knee and looking after and safeguarding human rights all
[39:54]of these are beneficial knowledge if people pick up those books they
[39:58]pick them up they study them they learn from them and they're
[40:03]able to help humanity at large therefore on the second level the
[40:10]second deed that doesn't end is when I leave behind knowledge which
[40:13]is beneficial for mankind on the third level and watch while I
[40:18]don't swallow Jonah and to leave behind rights yes offspring who pray
[40:25]for you because no doubt my offspring can either be a no-knock
[40:29]man my offspring can be a blessing for me after I die
[40:33]all my offspring can turn out to be a calamity my auspi
[40:35]in my life can be a blessing and my children in my
[40:40]life can be a calamity as in Bobby it was a calamity
[40:42]for Nabby I am yeah who had calamities in his family never
[40:49]know had calamities in his children yes sometimes your children while you're
[40:53]alive can be a trial and a calamity as enzo bearzot where
[40:56]the companion of rasulallah salallahu hani when his downfall was because of
[41:01]his son Abdullah Abdullah means where bought his father's downfall I tell
[41:05]you his father you would not get a lover of Rasul Allah
[41:10]Allah Allah Allah and Imam Ali Allah's Salam like Zuber but his
[41:13]son was a downfall for him and that's why one area which
[41:18]is of the utmost importance is if Allah blesses us with children
[41:22]who are right here so after we die ensure that death cannot
[41:26]defeat us and this can be seen in the fact that there
[41:32]are children who are writers who can do this in which way
[41:34]number one if I die and I had for example certain debts
[41:40]to Allah subhana WA Ta'ala then those children for example can be
[41:45]responsible for repaying the debt to Allah subhanAllah tejada that if let's
[41:49]say I've missed fast so I might miss prayers I'm a father
[41:53]or a mother they say the eldest son has a responsibility especially
[41:57]for the father or the miss present and the fast there's a
[42:01]debate about the mother in relation to the eldest son that son
[42:05]can either pray those prayers or look after those faucets have been
[42:08]missed that could come in crucial about what I defeat death or
[42:13]know what Oh Sailaja listed genre for it somebody can paste somebody
[42:16]somewhere to pray slighted Washoe to bracelet Alistair jarrah on behalf of
[42:21]the kebab press that'll be missed so you have that right to
[42:24]your son oh that righteous child the Salah the time is the
[42:28]Hajj the time is the faster time is then the debts that
[42:32]I owe people if there is an amount left from the estate
[42:34]and you know from the stage you have to first make sure
[42:39]that the stage of the inheritance that's been left behind there are
[42:42]certain obligatory things that will be repaid for for example there's a
[42:45]deer to be paid on the bruising that's been left on family
[42:49]members from the person who's passed away if they demand it if
[42:52]you slapped your wife she had black bruising or red bruising there
[42:56]is deer there's a certain calf our blood money to be paid
[42:59]for the bruising that's there and that money is not something which
[43:03]you think is smaller you could end up in Charlotte not like
[43:07]that but if you've left marks on your children there is a
[43:09]deer to be paid there are certain amount to be paid as
[43:15]well for funeral expenses all of these things have to be paid
[43:18]but you find at the same time if there's enough in the
[43:21]estate left then the eldest sons responsible to make sure that those
[43:24]debts are paid off if there's enough in the state if there
[43:29]isn't then someone who's lumbered in this situation and doesn't have that
[43:32]money it's not responsible on the son the father and the father
[43:35]dies then one could go towards the world to buy the forgiveness
[43:38]read dolma Milam and others so what you have therefore is my
[43:44]son or my daughter can ensure that my desk so a lot
[43:48]after my debt so the people are looked after they can also
[43:51]ensure that there are certain acts in my name which are perform
[43:54]that look after me that's righteous child goes to pray by my
[44:00]grave that person who goes to pray by my grave will be
[44:02]someone when they read the Quran so up goes to me that
[44:07]person who doesn't hide your honor on my behalf the swab will
[44:10]come that person who for example we come to this important area
[44:17]who modulus in honor of their mother or father who's died it's
[44:20]so sad how you find that some people have lost their parents
[44:23]they held a matchless fight high for a few days the following
[44:27]year no matches following you know me just do a yearly madness
[44:29]in honor of your parents someone turn around said but abdullah bin
[44:32]omar bin al-khattab said that's when you cry for them your tears
[44:40]torture them when you cry for the deceased your tears to torture
[44:42]them so if we're gonna have my daddy some people crying the
[44:46]tears will torch over see the context of that there was a
[44:48]genna's of someone who was jewish their people were crying for him
[44:51]and the Hadiya said they're crying for him while he is being
[44:57]tortured nothing to do with us well there's no harm a person
[45:00]crying for that disease there's some matter I would say only you
[45:05]can mourn for a few days you're more than welcome to mourn
[45:06]for me few days and you can mourn for a few days
[45:10]until the day you pass away doesn't affect me one bit will
[45:11]never affect me one my prophet is the one who on a
[45:16]night like this remember the air of grief when say you the
[45:18]Hadid Jerusalem and Abu Talib died in that year not three days
[45:24]of eight now year of grief and even after rasul allah sallallahu
[45:28]alehiwassallaam um only many years after rasulallah salallahu I wanna die they
[45:32]asked him imam why you crying said how could someone recover from
[45:35]the death of rasul allah salla they said to him after all
[45:37]these is said yes you could not recover so the Imam showed
[45:41]us the way yeah cool kept on crying for days and months
[45:45]and years there's no harm but organize those Machias those Magi listen
[45:49]one of your families they would defeat death because you're and then
[45:53]my just asking them all and I recited to I honor my
[45:57]parents you read that door as well and that's why you find
[46:00]that truly there was some their sons or their rights his children
[46:07]in short that their memory was never raised ensure that their prayers
[46:11]meant that they defeated death that look at a few examples the
[46:13]first of them about all it is Salam you can keep on
[46:18]saying as much as you want about our lives a kafir and
[46:22]we know you have hate for Imam Ali Allison don't worry I
[46:24]can't generalize because there are some from outside to show you who
[46:28]don't believe this but you'll find some who keep one clamoring honorable
[46:31]pylons a couple you can keep going while we're alive that will
[46:34]never ever be the case and especially while I'm around on minbari
[46:38]lil you can never get past that Abu Saleh valets Salam his
[46:45]legacy his sons on the one hand JA for a paya who
[46:47]flies with wings when we come to Jannah the great martyr of
[46:52]the region's lamb who his sadaqa jariya was the Islam of Africa
[46:55]and on the other the son of Abu Talib Ameer al-mumineen Ali
[47:01]said if anyone can teach you a door to go to the
[47:03]man himself coming one way or the other amongst other idea that
[47:10]I mean left behind for us so you had a batali left
[47:13]the world but his sons made sure that he defeated death his
[47:18]sons were the guiding lights of the religion of Islam that's a
[47:22]battalion then you had not just about all evil Islam your companions
[47:28]of al Muhammad's Allah Allah Allah Allah him I like Mesa me
[47:32]tomorrow made him tomorrow may have died but his sons wali shine
[47:36]and Hamza made sure that their father's memory and legacy remained alive
[47:43]you found that even the great great great great grandsons of megamix
[47:48]amar were all companions of the Imams of any page imagine your
[47:55]son up acharya your well it's all your al all in one
[47:58]through your sons who made sure that your legacy is continued then
[48:03]you had sons of those who died at Karbala the likes of
[48:06]for example imam al hassan ali salam his son Hasan el Moussa
[48:10]now remained alive after Carmela happy people mother and son remained alive
[48:12]after Karbala Muslim and a steel son Ahmed remain alive they may
[48:17]have died on the plains of Caramella but their memories remained alive
[48:24]forever their legacy remained alive forever and we're proud to look at
[48:28]them every day and shout out assalamu alayka ya ba Abdullah Allah
[48:32]Allah Allah - Ike when asked by ralick ali khamenei Jameer and
[48:36]salam allahabad America - about ha ha ha demon Alyssia Raja come
[48:42]assalamo Allah Hossein voila our evening for saying wala Aladdin Sane wala
[48:51]estaba saying they died in Caribana under the ground they were the
[48:56]most valiant of warriors but every air we stand up and we
[49:00]send our salams to answer al Jose analysis and we recognize the
[49:08]legacies that's who I left behind we recognize that they may have
[49:12]died much we will never forget them and we'll continue to pray
[49:16]for them and we'll continue to build Hosseini at in their name
[49:21]we're proud if we see Hosseini are saying Hosseini at Horeb in
[49:27]Yazeed area Oh Sadie a Jordan office Aeneid Habibi muara Hosseini at
[49:33]Muslim in aus atcha and Hosseini even named after so harab nila
[49:39]clean because they gave everything away each and every one of them
[49:45]told me much I born you'll never achieve righteousness until you give
[49:49]away that which you love fair nobody gave away like the Companions
[49:53]of say the Shia but no that was some of their family
[49:59]members it was difficult when it came to the time of looking
[50:01]at the way they gave away they knew that there was a
[50:05]Sadiq Acharya for them that's a thousand years after they died people
[50:09]would still remember them and they're so ah would be higher animal
[50:12]but they also found it difficult how they were related to them
[50:16]and they saw them die of them the wives especially in some
[50:22]cases the wives that lost someone they loved it was difficult for
[50:25]them man especially dalem the wife also harem Delfina because she's the
[50:32]one in some narrations although other scholars differ but some narrations Ryan
[50:36]mentioned have sheets also hair to go to say the show I
[50:41]go to a bar Abdullah he's calling you how could you be
[50:44]sitting here when the grandson of rasulallah salallahu calls you to come
[50:50]towards him so you can imagine how difficult it was when she
[50:54]heard him say Anna's war on wanna be no Lanie Avenue become
[50:59]be save Anna Hosseini in Hossein and Hadassah plain him a nice
[51:05]lesson maybe is a key is a Nene elated FC but was
[51:12]mainly he lay on the ground in Karbala they absolutely ripped him
[51:16]to pieces he lay out the grabbin look a thousand years later
[51:20]I sit here in London just before if star right now a
[51:26]10-15 minutes away and I hold up the flag of swear imagine
[51:29]how many others Jew his body lay on the ground on the
[51:35]plains of Karbala his wife dalem it was the night of the
[51:40]11th of Muharram Zana had been lying there asleep just about the
[51:46]other daughters and granddaughters of Rasulullah sallallahu 1 the ground daenam turned
[51:52]around to her 7 she said here take this shirt go and
[51:55]cover my husband's O'Hara's body I could not bear to know that
[52:03]his body is just like there in pieces on the ground the
[52:06]servant said I will do it no problem she went towards the
[52:13]plane of Caramella Balaam was waiting and waiting and waiting for the
[52:19]7 came back daenam looked towards her she said to her did
[52:23]you cover my husband's two hairs body the seventh Arrington said I'm
[52:31]sorry o lady I couldn't cover his body she's such a why
[52:35]because I asked you to cover his body why didn't you she
[52:38]said as I was coming to cover his body I saw the
[52:47]holy body of Papa read aloud over on him I thought how
[52:56]can I cover the body of Zaire while the body of the
[53:02]grandson of rose la lies there with no one to cover his
[53:05]body my husband's body while the body of the son of photometers
[53:19]utter lies with no one to cover him in Allah and la
