[0:01]um for a lecture for tonight after Muhammad Muhammad the reciter that
[0:24]is supposed to come and recite brother Muhammad farahan also lost his
[0:28]voice so he apologized for coming so inshallah we'll have brother mut
[0:32]recite after and some YouTube respected brothers and sisters I congratulate you
[1:25]all on the birth of Al and the birth of the birth
[1:34]of took place according to narrations on the 17th of of course
[1:40]there are other narrations that say on the 12th of in a
[1:46]year by the name of the year of elephant and that was
[1:52]the year that ABA came and tried to destroy the and Allah
[1:56]subhana T talks about this in the Quran so that year was
[2:06]40 years exactly before the of and the birth of the Prophet
[2:15]was a very significant event not only for Muslims but in the
[2:19]universe narrations say that when was born several miraculous things happened one
[2:29]was that the fire that was being worshiped by the Z asrian
[2:36]it turned off with the birth of and the idols that had
[2:43]been worshiped they all fell on their face with the birth of
[2:48]and another thing that is mentioned is that this Earth became pure
[2:56]where says this Earth became pure with the birth of this is
[3:08]according to some of our Traditions now of course Allah was a
[3:12]prophet of Love of mercy of compassion and he brought the religion
[3:17]of Islam he brought this religion to the worlds and he guided
[3:27]people as a Mercy to Mankind and we are all indebted to
[3:31]every single one of us we need to show thanks and appreciation
[3:40]to Allah has given us many blessings in life if you try
[3:46]to sit and count all of the blessings of God upon you
[3:49]you will never be able to count them Allah says in the
[3:54]Quran if you sit and try to count all of the all
[3:59]of the blessing of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala you will never be
[4:04]able to count them every breath that you take every cent every
[4:11]dollar every thing in your life every person in your life every
[4:14]cell in your body this is a from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[4:19]upon you the fact that these cells are functioning properly means that
[4:24]you're healthy the moment the cell start starts functioning improperly you start
[4:29]growing cancer in the body so you have to thank Allah subhana
[4:34]wa tala for every single cell in your body this is something
[4:37]that we kind of don't thank Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for however
[4:41]all of these blessings the food and the wealth and everything that
[4:45]we have nowhere in the Quran do we see Allah subhah wa
[4:49]ta'ala say I have done a favor upon you by giving you
[4:54]food I have done a favor upon you by giving you life
[4:56]Allah doesn't say that because Allah is the r Allah is the
[5:00]Lord and the Lord does not say I've done a favor upon
[5:04]you because the Lord sees that it is the duty of the
[5:07]Lord to provide the duty of the Lord to give one place
[5:11]in the Quran we see Allah subhana wa tala says I have
[5:13]done a favor upon you what is that about that is about
[5:19]Allah says in the Quran Allah subhanahu wa taala has a great
[5:42]favor and blessing upon the Believers that he sent he sent from
[5:58]yourselves from you a messenger he recites the verses of God and
[6:06]he purifies them and he teaches them the wisdom and the reading
[6:14]and the writing and before that they were in clear they were
[6:23]astray they were not on the right on the right path and
[6:27]this is a reality he says he Allah sent to the Arabs
[6:39]and they were not reading and writing today historians they say 17
[6:45]people used to read and WR when was sent as a prophet
[6:51]as a messenger but Subhan Allah within 23 years transformed Society not
[6:58]only bringing religion not only introducing people to God but he transformed
[7:03]Society economically socially psychologically they were they felt stronger they were before
[7:12]that the Arabs and the people of qur they felt weak the
[7:15]people of Mecca they felt weak this is why you have two
[7:20]major Empires growing around the Arabs you have the Roman Empire and
[7:23]the Persian Empire and these people in the middle they were nothing
[7:26]they were just fighting amongst themselves but Allah subhana sent the prophet
[7:30]and after the death of the Prophet it was the Muslims that
[7:34]controlled the Roman Empire many parts of the Roman Empire and the
[7:41]Persian Empire so the birth of is a very significant event in
[7:45]history and we celebrate the birth of the Prophet because the Quran
[7:53]celebrates the births of prophets the Quran celebrates the birth of several
[7:59]prophets several individuals the Quran celebrates and talks about the birth of
[8:02]M the Quran talks about the birth of Y the Quran talks
[8:09]about the birth of is and the Quran talks about the birth
[8:12]of maram why does the Quran talk about the birth today there
[8:17]are some people they say celebrating M or celebrating the birth of
[8:20]the Prophet is it's Haram if it was Haram then why does
[8:24]the Quran tell us about the birth of these individuals because there
[8:28]are lessons to be learned and yes when we gather to celebrate
[8:33]the birth of we learn lessons from Al from the lifestyle that
[8:41]he lived from the challenges and the difficulties that he faced my
[8:46]dear brothers and sisters we need to study the life of we
[8:49]need to familiarize ourselves more with our Prophet the Quran says you
[8:59]have the best role model let me ask myself this question do
[9:05]I really take Allah as a role model when it comes to
[9:07]life when it comes to my marriage when it comes to my
[9:11]family when it comes to my business when it comes to my
[9:14]when it comes to my dealing with neighbors and people around me
[9:17]is our role model and we will only follow him when we
[9:23]know about his life and we have to study the life ofai
[9:27]look at this manol Allah he was born in difficulty in a
[9:34]very difficult circumstance his father Abdullah had passed away while his mother
[9:41]was pregnant so never saw his father never saw his dad and
[9:50]he was born in Mecca his father had passed away in y
[9:56]while on a while on a business trip he passes away his
[9:59]mother gives birth to him in Mecca in the year of and
[10:05]he goes un under the custody his mother is and his father
[10:13]is abdah abdb she delivers and she names him Ahmed and his
[10:23]grandfather he carries him and he names him Muhammad the praised one
[10:28]he was asked why did you name him Muhammad he said because
[10:32]he is the praised one on earth and the praised one in
[10:35]the heavens they say that when he was born his mother did
[10:47]not have because of the poverty because of the difficulty the difficult
[10:51]life that they were living his mother did not have enough milk
[10:56]to give him and this was something that was common so what
[10:59]what they used to do is they used to have other ladies
[11:04]who are suckling their own children they would come and they would
[11:08]for money for a price they would come and they would suckle
[11:12]this child they would nurse this child so there was a lady
[11:17]of course Al was with his mother for a few day three
[11:20]days and then there was another lady that nursed the prophet th
[11:27]she was a slave of Abu laab and she nursed him for
[11:34]a few weeks and later on he kept trying to compensate her
[11:38]ABAB would not allow ABAB would not allow but kept trying to
[11:43]show thanks and appreciation to her later on then there was another
[11:48]lady by the name of Hal Hal was not living in Mecca
[11:56]she was living outside of Mecca and these ladies that were living
[11:59]in the village of outside of Mecca they would go in the
[12:00]city searching for young babies newborns so that they could nurse them
[12:09]so that they could make a living out of that so she
[12:11]says I was poor I had nothing and I already had my
[12:15]own child latched on to me and I'm feeding my own child
[12:20]I don't have enough milk to give my own child but I
[12:22]have to find a baby to nurse because I need to make
[12:27]a living and she said I was riding I went with ladies
[12:32]we went in the city and I was riding uh donkey it
[12:34]was very slow there was no grass there was no food in
[12:39]the village that we were living in and we went she says
[12:41]I was the last of the ladies because I was weak and
[12:45]the donkey would not move she says all of these ladies ahead
[12:48]of me they saw and they heard of this child who's an
[12:53]orphan his father has passed away so they said we don't want
[12:56]an orphan what are we going to get out out of an
[13:00]orphan we want someone whose father is alive who comes from a
[13:02]family that will be able to provide for us so they all
[13:07]left him she said I was the only one and there was
[13:12]no other children to suckle so she said my husband tells me
[13:15]go and see this child maybe you will see from him maybe
[13:21]you will see blessings from him she says I went and I
[13:28]saw his grandfather Abdul mutalib and when I saw when I when
[13:31]I saw his grandfather ABD MB he was interviewing me because after
[13:37]all the the people living in in qur in meca they also
[13:40]wanted someone who comes from a pure lineage someone who's healthy someone
[13:44]who is a good person so that they could because the milk
[13:50]that you drink it has an impact on you this is why
[13:52]there's a famous poem meaning that your the the love and the
[14:03]Iman that you have this poem he says the the IM that
[14:08]I the love that I have for alali this came through the
[14:12]milk of my mother so here the milk that you drink is
[14:15]very important a lot better than the formula that is there of
[14:21]course and Islam insists and and recognizes the importance of drinking the
[14:28]mother's milk it's very important in Islam anyways abdb he asks her
[14:33]he tells him what's your name she tells him he says these
[14:39]are two good signs meaning that she has that she's compassionate and
[14:44]means happiness so he says these are two good signs he says
[14:48]come and see the baby she says I went and he was
[14:54]sleeping in a cradle she says as soon as I remov the
[15:00]cover he looked at me and he smiled she says as soon
[15:04]as I saw that smile I felt that love and I felt
[15:05]that attachment to him and I could not let go of him
[15:12]she said I carried him and ABD and we made the deal
[15:16]we made the transaction with Abdul mutalib and she says Abdul mutalib
[15:21]followed us all the way to the borders of Mecca following this
[15:25]grandson because Abdul mutb knows this is a special child and the
[15:31]family of rol Allah they all knew that he was a special
[15:33]child for 5 years he was raised with and she would bring
[15:39]him back and forth to see his mother to see his family
[15:43]after 5 years felt like the life of was in danger of
[15:49]course he's not Allah at that time he's a Muhammad a young
[15:53]child but she sees that there were people when they would pass
[15:57]by The Village they would look at him and they see see
[16:01]signs of him signs of prophethood in him and Allah talks about
[16:03]this in the Quran those who we have given them the book
[16:12]the people of the scri scripture they know the signs of prophethood
[16:17]and the Jews and the Christians they would look at him and
[16:21]they they narrate that there was an event they tried to kidnap
[16:27]him or they tried to take him they saw signs she became
[16:29]worried she comes and she gives him back to his grandfather Abdul
[16:33]mutalib now she's he goes back at year five with Abdul mutb
[16:40]they say that that was a very difficult year forol Allah and
[16:43]his mother she was very poor she has nothing and they say
[16:48]that Allah did not even have shoes and sandals to wear in
[16:51]the heat of Mecca so the mother of she takes the young
[16:58]child and she goes with her son to Y she goes to
[17:03]Medina where her family her relatives are and that is where the
[17:06]grave of the father of rasol Allah is so she takes him
[17:11]and she goes over there and that was where Ras Allah saw
[17:18]the grave of his father and he saw his relatives they say
[17:22]that his mother am she fell ill she became ill was 6
[17:29]years old and and she decides to go back to Medina on
[17:31]the way going back in the Caravan going back the Caravans would
[17:35]travel in groups dies in a village by the name of ab
[17:42]so look at before he's born his father has passed away and
[17:49]his mother passes away when he's 6 years old they say that
[17:55]the Caravan took him back they took him back to Mecca and
[18:00]they hand him to his grandfather Abdul mutb Abdul mutalib he takes
[18:10]Abdul mutalib he takes his grandson and he keeps seeing more signs
[18:15]of prophet Hood more signs of Holiness in this young child and
[18:21]he raises him is 8 years old Abdul mutalib passes away so
[18:26]now Abdul mutalib comes and brings this child and he hands him
[18:33]to his uncle to the uncle of and that is AB the
[18:42]father of so is 8 years old he comes un into the
[18:44]custody under the custody of Abu Talib and Abu Talib begins to
[18:51]raise him he along with his wife they begin to show that
[19:01]love and that compassion to and he stays with him now my
[19:08]dear brothers and sisters of course Abu Talib Grew Older and Abu
[19:12]Talib was the protector of and the life of the Prophet is
[19:22]long and there's so much in the of but one point is
[19:27]that Allah subhanahu wa tala never left the Prophet Allah subhah wa
[19:31]tala was always with never leaving him and this is a reminder
[19:38]for all of us you're going through difficulties in life you're going
[19:40]through challenges in life Allah will always be there for you Allah
[19:47]is always going to protect you and Allah talks about this inah
[19:51]Allah says your lord never left you you were a and God
[20:12]was watching over you today some people they take the of this
[20:20]verse they say meaning you were astray you were away from the
[20:25]h and God guided you of course we believe was always on
[20:31]the right path he was never astray it means that you were
[20:37]a treasure lost amongst ignorant people this is also meaning that someone
[20:42]who is a treasure that is not recognized they also call that
[20:49]so meaning people did not recognize you then Allah subhah wa tala
[20:55]brought people to recognize you my dear brothers and sisters if we
[21:12]want to measure the greatness of an individual we have to measure
[21:16]the impact that they had on their society on their community on
[21:21]the their surroundings and is the most impactful human being that has
[21:29]ever lived the impact that he has is so great it is
[21:32]felt by everyone year after year day after day more and more
[21:40]people are impacted by more and more people are guided through the
[21:47]teachings of Al but look at he was born in a city
[21:55]in meah Mecca had become a city of vices a city of
[22:01]idol worship a city of lack of morality a city of financial
[22:06]inequality where there's rich and there's poor a city of corruption but
[22:11]was the pure one he was like the water the water in
[22:18]itself it's pure and it purifies other things and this is how
[22:23]was he managed within 23 years to change Society to bring Society
[22:31]to the better to bring out the greatest Potentials in people imagine
[22:36]there are people who are so backwards they are burying their own
[22:41]daughters alive you're able to find something good in them and this
[22:44]is what did he came and he brought the good in everyone
[22:49]around him and he brought out that good and he turned them
[22:52]into Believers and into people that are united on the faith and
[22:58]on the she describes the state of the Arabs before in her
[23:07]sermon she says she says you were on the edge of the
[23:15]pit of fire meaning that anyone could take advantage of you it
[23:23]was very easy to take advantage of you meaning you were stepped
[23:30]on from all over from all Corners you used to drink the
[23:39]is the same water that the camels drink from and Ur urinate
[23:44]in you guys used to drink from that this is how backwards
[23:48]you were and you used to eat the leaves of the tree
[23:52]because of your because of how you were poor and how you
[23:57]had nothing you you humiliated you were always afraid that you're going
[24:08]to be attacked from around you she says God saved you by
[24:24]my father and this is what did one man he came and
[24:26]he changed all of society and all of community now of course
[24:32]how did do that we believe that Allah was Guided by God
[24:35]Allah subh tal was the one who showed him the way Allah
[24:40]subhah wa taala was the one who kept guiding him and supporting
[24:43]him and says I was raised by God meaning God disciplined me
[24:52]this is why there's a beautiful uh statement it says meaning if
[25:00]you want to have good manners take the manners of God God
[25:04]is Kim God is forgiving God is loving God is merciful god
[25:08]is compassionate take these qualities and apply them to your life and
[25:14]this is what did until becomes he becomes the great the man
[25:23]with the greatest AK we'll mention several ways one Allah subhanahu wa
[25:31]ta'ala opened his heart for people today some people they're not tolerant
[25:37]today some people they do not they do not tolerate any differences
[25:41]any different opinions anyone that has a little bit different thinking Allah
[25:48]subhana tells you have to have a open chest you have to
[25:54]have an open heart you have to be able and be willing
[25:58]to talk tolerate other people this is one second was a man
[26:06]of mercy and this Mercy was given to him by God it
[26:13]is the mercy of God that made you merciful towards other people
[26:20]if you were rude if you did not tolerate people then no
[26:27]one would be around you and the third subhana tells him forgive
[26:32]people Allah teaches Allah tells the prophet forgive people it's okay this
[26:47]is why he was forgiving he goes to to guide people to
[26:53]show people the way and they begin to throw stones and rocks
[26:56]at him he goes and he hides behind the wall to protect
[27:00]himself J comes to him he tells him do Dua and all
[27:07]of these people will be punished just like all of the Nations
[27:10]before says no I was sent as a mercy to to them
[27:16]I was not sent as a punishment oh Allah forgive my people
[27:24]for they do not know my dear brothers and sisters today we
[27:34]need the teachings of in our lives we need R we need
[27:38]the of don't just say you're a Muslim and follower of the
[27:41]Prophet when we do not truly follow the lifestyle and the ways
[27:45]and the and the manners and the honesty and the beauty of
[27:53]when we follow everything then we could say we are sincere followers
[28:00]of Al my dear brothers and sisters we congratulate you all on
[28:04]the birth of our holy prophet and we ask Allah to grant
[28:13]you all the Z and the of the Z of is worth
[28:21]a lot you're visiting and the where he says my will come
[28:26]in a time where everyone will be in need of the Sha
[28:31]my dear brothers and sisters may Allah bless you all inshallah Allah
[28:35]keeps us on the path of Muhammed we will we have brother
[28:50]mut will recite we had brother Muhammad farahan to come and recite
