[0:06]do things in our lives also requires reform in other words the

[0:10]biography of the messenger of god is not the only area that

[0:12]sometimes we need to re-examine yes sometimes we need to relook at

[0:17]many aspects in our lives sometimes we pick up habits throughout our

[0:20]lives a few nights ago i mentioned the subject of eating food

[0:23]from hindus a number of people came to me and said there

[0:28]is a problem here i said what is it that some struggle

[0:30]to accept this let me elaborate a little bit more about what

[0:35]i mentioned the recognition that emerges in the religion of islam there

[0:38]is a principle the principle is everything is bahar unless you know

[0:40]for sure that it is nudges everything number one number two if

[0:54]human being the believer themselves must come to a certainty either by

[1:13]is not from al-kitab and the food is vegetarian to start off

[1:15]with if it's meat you have to establish whether it's halal or

[1:19]not and that has its own separate discussion if it is vegetarian

[1:23]let us imagine sometimes we have to simplify a vegetable samosa yes

[1:27]you're given this by somebody who is your neighbor who is what

[1:30]from the hindu faith what the sharia of the religion of islam

[1:34]tells you is number one you don't need to ask their religion

[1:38]number two you don't need to ask how they prepared it number

[1:40]three if you have not seen them use their own wet hands

[1:46]in preparation then you can assume tahara because everything is pure unless

[1:50]you know for sure it is nudges now some people said to

[1:55]me but isn't it better to avoid this is it better just

[1:57]to kind of not eat i say to them my dear sisters

[2:05]eat there is a difference between that which you prefer and that

[2:16]what is right and wrong and as far as halal and haram

[2:24]an idea in our minds we need to because sometimes you and

[2:28]i become the halal haram police have you heard this we make

[2:34]it our own objective in life to keep telling people don't do

[2:44]imams because we have a sahih hadith hadith that is established in

[2:51]kafi that was what highlighted to me by one of my colleagues

[2:55]this hadith is sahih the chain of narration is established what is

[3:24]they do russul yes the hadith says in al-qafi he was doing

[3:27]hustle from janab when he finished rasool he left the moment he

[3:32]left he saw one of those haram halal police people who said

[3:37]to him you've missed the power in your back it's dry you've

[3:43]missed it the imam alaihissalam looks if you had kept quiet it's

[3:52]better you don't need to tell me this yes what is imam

[3:55]ali salaam trying to tell you and i and all of humanity

[3:58]at the end of the day this particular part if you think

[4:03]it's missed it's not your problem to highlight yes it takes some

[4:10]water and covers it yes just in case it's missed but he's

[4:12]highlighting to you and i there are people i have heard who've

[4:16]come one day they say mawlana m m's coca-cola this snickers haram

[4:23]subhanallah they have a problem with chocolates every day something you have

[4:29]qualification to bring these deductions you have studied you have become a

[4:35]much the head every day we receive a message mawlana this thing

[4:37]that's thing haram somebody said somebody said once again take a step

[4:45]back understand there is a role for ulama isn't it
