[0:00]regime is um Allah is a fundamental aspect of the person that
[0:54]we are our character itself it is the way that you carry
[1:00]your manners the person that you are is your it's the first
[1:05]thing that people do see when they notice you not your level
[1:08]intelligence or so not how much money you make but rather it's
[1:12]your most is the first and foremost thing that you will be
[1:19]seen with and that's why in Islam we are we have so
[1:21]many books and so many chefs have dedicated their life on writing
[1:26]many books about this specific topic but tonight inshallah I want to
[1:33]look into this aspect of Islam that many of us we know
[1:36]about but we don't truly implement it into our lives for really
[1:40]when you know how to be honest and you know that you
[1:45]have to be good in certain manners you have to be respectful
[1:47]to so and so but how effectively are we at implementing these
[1:52]theories into our own lives he says the distinguishing feature of a
[1:58]Believer is his good character so we know that they've put a
[2:07]lot of emphasis on the specific topic what does he says he
[2:16]says the only reason that I've been sent down to mankind is
[2:21]to perfect your Noble manners to make it perfect so we know
[2:29]that wants you to be in the best of manners and this
[2:31]is we need to try to use these as examples in our
[2:36]own lives to try to implement this level of ourselves and first
[2:42]we need to understand before we begin the first level is to
[2:47]understand our clock and one of our great Scholars he says that
[2:51]the word is a plural form of Hulk meaning disposition is that
[2:57]part of your soul that is the source of your activities whether
[3:01]you want to or whether you don't want to it's something that
[3:06]is shown so that level of this position that level of your
[3:10]nature in which you don't think about it because many times in
[3:13]our day we don't think about what kind of actions we're taking
[3:16]right it's our it's something that is inherent within us but we
[3:20]can change it it's important to understand that this is a level
[3:25]that we can try to exercise it to make it a better
[3:26]and a higher level so we can reach closer to Allah and
[3:30]that level of reaching Perfection is through it's a way for us
[3:35]to reach Allah and on the second point after understanding Aflac we
[3:38]have to understand who can we use as our examples in our
[3:42]everyday life and this is where we begin with the first Ayah
[3:46]that I recited and Allah says you truly you are in this
[3:53]outstanding character who is he discussing he's discussing none other than other
[3:58]costume so you see the prophet himself was a very lovable character
[4:08]he was someone who many people knew before he began the mission
[4:11]and one of the philosophies behind Allah giving the Quran to him
[4:17]and at the age of 40 was because at that point he
[4:19]was very loved his characteristic was one that was considered as you
[4:23]all know asada well I mean he was known as a very
[4:28]truthful and he was known as someone who can take care of
[4:32]anything that they give them so these two characteristics were so important
[4:36]to rasulullah and we know in the story when he tells the
[4:40]people that if he if I tell you that behind this mountain
[4:44]there's a large army coming and they're going to attack us will
[4:46]you believe me the people say they say that Muhammad of course
[4:52]we believe you your assadaf and your Amin why would you lie
[4:55]about something like this then he says okay then this is the
[4:58]religion of Allah this is an Islam and many people rejected it
[5:01]at that point we need to know at the fundamental level they
[5:04]considered him a very truthful person his manners were first developed we're
[5:09]in front of people where they knew him as someone in a
[5:14]who is very highly esteemed and we knew and we even know
[5:18]stories about people who fell in love with Islam through the holy
[5:20]prophet's manners not through him preaching about Islam and saying Islam is
[5:24]your way to go to heaven or hell or avoid hell but
[5:28]rather just his characteristics and many of us in school in Madras
[5:30]as we've learned of the story of the lady who would throw
[5:32]garbage on the holy prophet every day he would walk from going
[5:38]from his house outside he'd pass the street and there was always
[5:42]this lady who would throw trash in Mecca and this was a
[5:46]time where the holy prophet was very weak but he wasn't as
[5:49]strong in his ummah he only had a very few amount of
[5:53]people so every day he's passing by the specific Street and the
[5:56]garbage is thrown on him and then we see one day there's
[6:01]no garbage right so for many of us that's considered a very
[6:03]happy day okay we didn't get garbage today I'm going to be
[6:05]looking nice but no the holy prophets himself he went and he
[6:11]asked and someone said that this lady was sick so he goes
[6:15]to his house he visits her and he asks her how she's
[6:19]doing and this simple action shows the love of rasulullah and upon
[6:24]seeing this characteristics this lady she realizes her errors and she later
[6:29]becomes a Muslim so this is an amazing story but the aspect
[6:33]of this story that we need to look at is how rasulullah
[6:35]carried himself in this in his manners his mannerisms was one that
[6:39]we can see is a manifestation of Allah is creation so clearly
[6:47]through this character we can see that a lot of people can
[6:50]fall in love with Islam through our own characteristics we need to
[6:54]be that manifestation of Love through our own manners and we can
[6:59]see later on in his life when he become when he comes
[7:02]back to Mecca he's made the contact he's made his conquest and
[7:07]he's taken over Medicare now rasulullah he can do anything he wants
[7:11]now he's the strongest man in this in this specific City and
[7:14]he could kill anyone who has wronged him in badar and what
[7:19]does he do on this day he says he says this is
[7:25]the day of being respectful this is the day of we won't
[7:32]do anything here this is a day well where we will forgive
[7:35]you for your actions we will do what I have for you
[7:40]and that day this is a day of Mercy through his characters
[7:46]he showed okay you've done wrong to me and you're in those
[7:49]10 years you fought with me in those eight years you fought
[7:55]against me when I was in Medina you were Mecca but today
[7:56]is the day of mercy and I will not attack anyone I
[8:00]will not hurt anyone and we can see no one is killed
[8:03]on this day and none of his enemies are killed so we
[8:05]need to make sure that we follow these actions of these characteristics
[8:08]of rasulullah and on a on a second point we need to
[8:15]understand that your has not just one it's three types of what
[8:22]kind of is it it's your towards Allah towards Allah so how
[8:28]is my Aflac towards Allah right how am I interacting towards Allah
[8:33]we need to make sure that is perfect in the way that
[8:35]we pray in the way that we read our Quran we have
[8:40]that interaction and we need that towards us and Allah being the
[8:43]perfect on the second level we have number two toward the world
[8:49]how is math lap when I leave the door today when I
[8:53]leave the door to my house am I respectful to others am
[8:56]I doing good are am I with pure intentions coming to people
[9:00]and helping them you want to make sure that you're off locked
[9:03]towards the world is the best kind of love to others and
[9:08]the third one is your love towards yourself and many people they
[9:11]forget about this so in your luck and how you view yourself
[9:16]your own mannerisms do you view yourself in in a in a
[9:22]proper manner because many people don't and their love towards themselves is
[9:25]not the best we want to make sure that on all three
[9:27]levels towards Allah towards others and towards ourselves that we are carrying
[9:30]the best of Allah such that we're following like that of the
[9:38]holy prophet salallahu alaihi and his so and after understanding we want
[9:45]to go to our third point and our third point is how
[9:48]can I try to implement this everyday manner a day-to-day manner and
[9:53]I'll give you a very simple simple way it's three words these
[10:01]are three simple points that will help you in being able to
[10:07]build your on a first point musharate when you wake up in
[10:12]the morning make a shot make a condition that today I'm not
[10:17]going to do this I know that sometimes I'm maybe a bit
[10:19]more my Aflac is not the best towards these certain people I'll
[10:25]try to be better today so that I can do better that's
[10:27]Anna first aspect of musharra to have that shot to have that
[10:34]condition on the second level we want to have our murakaba we
[10:35]want to know that Allah is watching us and that he's there
[10:39]that we need to have the best of actions because there's someone
[10:44]that is going to take note of this take note of our
[10:47]actions on that day so Morocco being aware of Allah and many
[10:53]of us through our actions sometimes we forget that Allah is there
[10:56]right so we want to make sure that we keep Allah in
[11:00]the picture and on the third point we want to make sure
[11:03]that we have been accountability at the end of the day so
[11:09]on the morning we have mashad during the day we have my
[11:19]actions okay I did this this today okay I should not have
[11:24]done this and this so upon making accountability for your actions you
[11:29]realize that these kind of things can be done better that you
[11:32]won't do this the next time through having accounts of your actions
[11:35]you're improving day by day so it's a step to your Perfection
[11:40]this is kind of a Perfection plan for yourself through your for
[11:42]your own character we want to make sure that every day we're
[11:46]doing better and we can get closer to Allah and our final
[11:50]point before we want to end off is where do we see
[11:54]specifically for having the best of we have and this is where
[12:04]Imam um he asks Allah give him the best as we said
[12:15]rasulullah said in his famous saying I have been sent the only
[12:22]reason was to make you the in perfect manners the most noble
[12:25]manners so inshallah let's go ahead and end off and I will
[12:29]read the transition for the specific uh parts so we can understand
[12:33]it a bit better so we can raise our hands cause my
[12:46]faith to reach the most perfect faith he's asking him to give
[13:00]this is and take my intentions to be the best of intentions
[13:09]and my works the best of works Allah complete my attention through
[13:20]your greatness Rectify my searching through that what is with you and
[13:29]said right what is corrupt in me through your power Allah spare
[13:40]me the certains the concerns which distract me you will ask me
[13:53]tomorrow and let me pass my days in that which you has
[14:01]created for me and gratitude let's finish so these this is just
[14:23]a small excerpt from that where Allah is asking Allah for that
[14:26]noble character so inshallah if you get that time read the whole
[14:31]Dua and realize the connection that imazana has with Allah and through
[14:35]this inshallah through asking for Dua through improving our characteristics we can
[14:40]get closer to Allah and be of the followers
