[0:31]one of the most profound signs of a person's faith is the
[0:38]ability to trade their comfort and their desires for the sake of
[0:46]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the one who prioritizes god and the
[0:52]prophet and the quran and their principles and their values over their
[0:57]own desires right now this is what a movement is because the
[1:01]person believes in god their faith is so strong that it makes
[1:05]them overpower their own needs and willpower and desires when this verse
[1:15]was revealed the muslims became very happy they said allahu akbar they
[1:26]said they said it's that easy all you have to do is
[1:29]trade your nafs and your wealth and belongings for the sake of
[1:35]paradise in return you give that to god and in return allah
[1:38]gives you everlasting bliss and satisfaction in paradise yes it's that easy
[1:49]all you have to do is give some time and prioritize god
[1:53]and the prophet and your principles and values and you will go
[2:00]to paradise and nebu if you're a men if you're a believer
[2:05]you place rasulallah ahead of yourself you place god and the religion
[2:12]of islam ahead of yourself you compromise your own needs and desires
[2:17]for the sake of allah this is what a man is now
[2:23]there are some people who can do that and do do that
[2:27]and there are other people who put their own desires and needs
[2:32]ahead of their principles and values from amongst the sahaba of rasulallah
[2:40]there were two types as well when this verse was revealed in
[2:46]allah the muslims were happy tells them that you have to make
[2:56]a sacrifice you have to prioritize your faith and your beliefs from
[3:00]amongst the sahaba from amongst the companions there were those who sacrificed
[3:06]their faith and compromised their own principles and values for the sake
[3:09]of power and for the sake of authority for some during the
[3:14]life of rasulallah they turned against the prophets and others as soon
[3:18]as rasulullah passed away they turned against them allah says become or
[3:33]he passes away will you turn back over your heel and the
[3:38]quran was telling the muslims that some of you will turn back
[3:41]over your heel and some of them did do that this is
[3:45]why we see division amongst the muslims today otherwise if the muslims
[3:48]did not turn back and did not neglect the message of the
[3:53]prophet then the muslims would all be one and there were some
[3:55]from the muslims who remained standing with their principles and values and
[4:03]beliefs and the greatest of whom is the man who we are
[4:06]commemorating these nights and that is the first muslim the first to
[4:16]believe the first to sacrifice and imam ali alaihissalam he what makes
[4:21]him different from all of the other companions all of the other
[4:27]sahaba was that amir al-mu'min would always prioritize his faith ahead of
[4:30]his own needs ahead of his own desires ahead of everything regarding
[4:36]himself you see the dearest thing to an individual is their life
[4:40]imam ali put his life on the line his nafs on the
[4:44]line the dearest thing to a person is their wealth imam ali
[4:47]salaam he sacrificed all of his wealth and he gave it all
[4:50]in the way of allah as we will discuss the dearest thing
[4:55]to a person is their power and authority people some people they
[4:59]kill for the sake of power as we see some of the
[5:02]sahaba did some of those who were who were with their who
[5:06]were living during the time of imam ali alayhi imam he let
[5:09]go of power and authority for the sake of his principles and
[5:12]values and furthermore the dearest thing to an individual is their family
[5:18]and we see that the family of amir and mu'min they were
[5:24]sacrificed and they were killed and they were persecuted because they stood
[5:28]with amir al-mu'min imam ali alayhi he lost his family because they
[5:32]were with him and then later on his sons one after the
[5:37]other because they were the sons of ali his father abu talib
[5:42]was called and is continuously called a kafir because he is the
[5:48]father of alaimitalib this is why imam ali is the first muslim
[5:51]in islam the first to be oppressed and the most oppressed figure
[5:55]in history he says you are the first to be oppressed and
[6:19]the first whose hak who's right was taken away from him he
[6:31]says you were patient despite all of that despite all of the
[6:36]oppression despite all that you did and you sacrificed and you compromised
[6:40]for the sake of allah you were oppressed was cursed why because
[6:55]they couldn't stand with the truth because stuck with the stood with
[7:00]the haqq with the truth that it was too difficult for them
[7:06]to stand and many they fell many they deviated from the path
[7:11]of the truth because the path of the truth is too lonely
[7:14]the path of righteousness is not an easy path my dear brothers
[7:20]and sisters you you we see it in our lives today if
[7:22]a person wants to live a faithful lifestyle it's very difficult imagine
[7:28]imam allah who had all of the responsibilities on him he was
[7:36]oppressed and he talks about it he talks about how he was
[7:40]oppressed how others they they were taking away his haqq and his
[7:46]right he says he says my my right was taken away from
[8:01]me from the day rasulullah passed away until today towards the end
[8:06]of his life he says my right has been taken away from
[8:10]me now my dear brothers and sisters let us analyze some of
[8:15]the stances of to see how he always prioritized god and his
[8:21]value and his values and principles and he sacrificed his own desires
[8:28]and his own and when we compare him with the others we
[8:32]see that they compromised and sacrificed their faith and the quran and
[8:38]their principles because of power and because of authority first put his
[8:43]life on the line he put his life on the line the
[8:49]dearest thing to an individual is their life while others were holding
[8:52]gone to their life while others were running away in the battle
[8:56]for fear of their life for their life imam ali alayhi salaam
[8:59]he would face the enemies had on defending rasulullah while he was
[9:06]in mecca he was defending the prophet as a child he was
[9:13]defending rasulallah and then the night of the hijrah he slept in
[9:16]the bed of rasulallah which we discussed last night and then in
[9:22]the battle of badr in the battle of ahud in the battle
[9:26]of azab in the battle of khaibar in the battle of hunain
[9:28]these are all battles that when the quran talks about them the
[9:32]quran the quran reminds the muslims that you were scared you were
[9:37]running away you were doubting in allah subhanahu ta'ala during these moments
[9:41]but allah saved you and allah saved the muslims by the sword
[9:45]of ali by the willpower of rasulallah and the stance of rasulullah
[9:51]and the sword because from day one he was not afraid of
[9:58]death why do people run away why do why are people afraid
[10:01]of death because they don't know what's ahead of them he says
[10:11]if the veil was removed my yakin my certainty would not increase
[10:20]amir he was so certain that's why he was not afraid of
[10:28]death this is why he says for death the same way a
[10:35]baby yearns for his mother this was ali this is why when
[10:42]he was struck on his head what did he say he says
[10:46]fustua rabbil i am victorious by the lord of the kaaba amir
[10:54]al-mu'min was not afraid of anyone and the battle he faced the
[10:57]greatest enemies the strongest and all of the arabs they turned against
[11:01]him during the life of rasulallah the azab for him and after
[11:10]rasulallah you find that the sahaba for him in the battle of
[11:14]jamal in the battle of safin in the battle of narawan some
[11:17]of those in the battle of narawan they were reciters of the
[11:21]quran in the battle of jamal they were the sahaba of rasulullah
[11:25]he says if all of the arab they stand to fight me
[11:35]i will not run away from them was not afraid was willing
[11:40]to put his life on the line you know in the battle
[11:46]of safin mahalia was waging the war ma'awe was rebelling against amir
[11:49]al-mu'min so imam ali tells him you fight me let us fight
[11:52]together and that's it it will be over but he was hiding
[11:56]in the back ali was fighting in the battlefield and mahawya was
[12:00]hiding in the back allowing others to be killed for his sake
[12:04]this is one he puts his life on the line while others
[12:08]would run away in the battle you know in the in the
[12:12]other battles some of the sahaba some of those who came and
[12:14]they took positions of power and authority they ran away they ran
[12:17]away one of them he run he runs away three days later
[12:20]he comes back rasulullah he tells him everyone goes they come back
[12:27]an hour later two hours later you go and you come back
[12:30]three days later this person he's called the leader of the muslims
[12:34]and he's prioritized over ali ibn abi talib this is one second
[12:38]my dear brothers and sisters the dearest thing one of the dearest
[12:43]thing to people is their money their wealth you find people they're
[12:45]willing to do haram people are willing to to separate and break
[12:51]ties with family over money he gave away wealth in the way
[13:00]of allah and the quran keeps reminding us of that in almost
[13:05]every verse that talks about sadaqah and in fact we see there
[13:09]is a reference to ali tuna while they are in the state
[13:37]of while they are bowing down to allah all scholars of tafsir
[13:41]they say that that person who was giving zakat while performing salat
[13:46]in the state he gave charity while performing salah and this is
[13:54]the clearest verse the verse says your leader is god his prophet
[13:58]and from the men the one who does that obviously that's he
[14:04]is your leader the quran is telling us he is your leader
[14:07]another verse my dear brothers and sisters this verse was revealed when
[14:29]a man comes to the masjid at night after the asha prayer
[14:34]he comes and he tells rasulallah i'm hungry rasool allah he asks
[14:39]the muslims who will take this person as the guest of rasulallah
[14:42]amir she tells him we have only enough food to put the
[14:50]children to sleep he tells her put them to sleep hungry we
[14:52]have the guest of rasulallah so she puts her children to sleep
[15:02]hungry and he comes and he brings the man he puts the
[15:04]food in front of him and he turns off the candle then
[15:06]imam ali he makes the sound with his mouth as if he's
[15:10]eating so the man doesn't realize that he is the only one
[15:14]who is eating that man eats and he sleeps the next day
[15:17]no one knows about this issue the next day a verse comes
[15:21]down in the quran and another verse my dear brothers and sisters
[15:35]is the a verse that has been abrogated the law has been
[15:41]abrogated all you people who believe if you want to whisper and
[15:53]have a private council with the prophet give sadaqa you have to
[15:58]give charity then you speak to the prophet why was this verse
[16:01]revealed this verse was revealed because some people they were wasting the
[16:05]time of rasulallah is a busy man and he doesn't say no
[16:08]to anyone so they would come and they would tell him i
[16:10]want to talk to you i want to have private conversation with
[16:12]you and take him away from the crowd take him away from
[16:16]other people so the quran says you want to talk to the
[16:20]prophet give sadaqah no one offered no one came to speak to
[16:24]rasool allah except he comes and he gives sadaqa he speaks to
[16:26]the prophet of course this law was abrogated this law this is
[16:31]one of the only verses that it's law has been abrogated and
[16:36]that is to show the greatness of ali and to tell the
[16:39]muslims don't waste the time of the prophets you who are not
[16:43]willing to come and give sadaqa to speak to the prophet then
[16:46]therefore you don't have a serious conversation with the prophet but allah
[16:55]he gave his wealth in the way of allah and even once
[17:02]he one later on in his life dug hundreds of wells and
[17:08]he planted thousands and hundreds of palm trees and he would give
[17:12]away the wealth that would come from that he would give it
[17:14]away in the way of allah subhanahu ta'ala this was third my
[17:21]dear brothers and sisters he sacrificed leadership and power and authority for
[17:29]the sake of his principles and his values while some they killed
[17:34]and they broke their bond with the quran and with their principles
[17:39]and with islam for the sake of power and authority and they
[17:43]angered allah and his prophet for the sake of power he says
[17:54]he says i don't want power i'm not interested in power imam
[18:01]ali alayhi was taken away from him appointed him on the day
[18:11]of but then 70 days later they came and they turned against
[18:15]imam ali alayhi and they took the khilafah away from him first
[18:20]they said it was surah and then they came then abu bakr
[18:24]was elected through ashura then umar was elected by appointment from abu
[18:29]bakr and then uthman was elected in a six-man council so what
[18:35]is it is it is it a appointment is it surah is
[18:38]it a six-man council rasulullah does not have the right to choose
[18:43]but the others they chose this is why he says he says
[18:54]i was patient as if there's a thorn there's a splinter in
[19:00]my eye and something blocking my breathing way this was salaam his
[19:07]power was taken away from him chose not to fight some people
[19:13]they asked today they say why didn't amir al-mu'min fight why didn't
[19:17]he didn't do something he should have fought he should have you
[19:20]know taken his power is it wasn't it his rightful power amir
[19:28]al-mu'min was instructed by rasulallah tells him if you have supporters then
[19:33]fight if you don't have supporters if you don't have enough supporters
[19:37]then don't fight and be patient he saw that the majority of
[19:42]the people they were believing in him but they were not willing
[19:45]to put their lives on the line they were not willing to
[19:50]fight for his sake what is he going to do he's going
[19:55]to come and cause bloodshed and then even if he takes power
[19:56]people are going to say days or moments after the prophet died
[20:01]his cousin and his son-in-law he went and he killed the sahaba
[20:05]for the sake of his power allah did not want to do
[20:09]that because he was worried for islam he was worried for the
[20:13]muslim community he cared for muslim unity while others did not while
[20:17]others they came and they killed for the sake of power for
[20:21]the sake of authority all of them they killed and they oppressed
[20:25]as soon as rasulullah passed away there were there were individuals who
[20:30]were killed now today those who fought those who stood and rebelled
[20:35]against the first khalifa they call them apost apostates this is why
[20:39]right now when you read abu bakr when he first came to
[20:44]power there were they called them the the apostasy wars they call
[20:49]those who stand and rebel and question the legitimacy of the first
[20:54]khalifa's authority as apostates kuffar even though they were muslim like malika
[20:59]bin nuyara mallika bin nuera was a muslim man after the death
[21:13]of the prophet he enters into the masjid and he sees someone
[21:15]else sitting so he turns around he does not give his zakat
[21:20]abu bakr sends khalid he goes he kills him even though he
[21:26]hears them reciting the adhan he kills him and he sleeps with
[21:30]his wife on that night and he places his head under the
[21:33]pot as a stone under the pot even even omar he was
[21:39]very upset he says khalid did something wrong but says how can
[21:44]we kill and punish the sword of allah someone who does a
[21:50]horrendous act like that so those who stand against abu bakr they're
[21:55]called apostates like malika bin nuyra in the battle of jamal in
[22:02]the battle of safin in the battle of narawan they are rather
[22:05]let god be pleased with them see this is the oppression towards
[22:13]ali ibn abu talib throughout his whole life he was patient then
[22:18]once power came to him once uthman was killed because of his
[22:25]corruption uthman when he came to power he was so corrupt he
[22:27]was spending money he was giving bani umayya here and there the
[22:30]muslims they killed him the muslims they turned against him the people
[22:33]of kufa the people of basra the people of egypt they turned
[22:37]against him they rebelled against him then they came begging imam i
[22:41]need to take the power even imam ali he describes he says
[22:44]hassan and hussain were pushed and my shirt was pulled people were
[22:50]begging me to take power and authority tells them i will rule
[22:54]if you allow me to rule the way rasulullah did and imam
[22:58]ali salaam as soon as the came to him he said they
[23:03]some people they turned against them they turned against them but amir
[23:08]al-mu'min was principled he stood with his values and principles he sacrificed
[23:14]his own needs and desires for the sake of the greater good
[23:20]you know most rulers today many people they function today by the
[23:27]ends justifying the means meaning do whatever you can in order to
[23:31]reach the end in order to reach your goal once you reach
[23:34]their goal then you'll be then you'll take care of things let
[23:38]me do haram until i reach a position of power let me
[23:40]do whatever i can until i you know reach the position of
[23:44]power today some people they say why didn't alibaba fight because afraid
[23:47]of god this is why he didn't cause bloodshot because amir and
[23:51]minin did not want to be the khalifa that ended up killing
[23:54]the muslims in order to become in power like the others always
[24:00]stuck with stood with his principles and values until they fought him
[24:06]until they turned against him they gave him khilafah they gave him
[24:09]bay'a and then they rebelled against him now he has the legitimacy
[24:12]to fight them before that he didn't fight them before that for
[24:15]over 20 years amir mohammed was in his house but the day
[24:18]they gave him legitimacy the day they they gave him baya now
[24:21]he has the leadership now he has to fight in the battle
[24:25]of jamal in the battle of safin in the battle of naruwan
[24:27]because now he is commissioned to rule imam ali alayhi salaam fought
[24:35]them one by one he did not oppress because for him the
[24:40]ends you can't say the ends justify the means let me do
[24:45]whatever i can do even do haram a press in order to
[24:49]reach that position no because that position will lose its value if
[24:52]you reach that position through wrong through haram today some people they
[24:58]say let me make money let me make haram money and then
[25:00]i'm going to go and donate to the masjid then i'm going
[25:03]to go and give sadaqah no my dear brothers and sisters allah
[25:05]subhanahu ta'ala does not want you to live a haram life so
[25:10]that you do good later on allah would rather you give less
[25:14]donation to the masjid but it's halal you give less as a
[25:23]charitable cause but it's from a halal cause this was and this
[25:27]is why when he came to power when the authority when the
[25:31]khilafah came to him he was not attached to it he would
[25:36]tell he would see the bags of the gold and the silver
[25:38]and he would say ya saffron oh beauty of this life go
[25:53]and fool someone other than ali ibn abi talib after one of
[25:58]the battles ibn abbas he says there were leaders of the tribes
[26:03]and the noble men of the arabs they were waiting to congratulate
[26:07]imam ali but imam ali was nowhere to be seen he says
[26:09]i went in his tent to look for him i see him
[26:12]sitting on the ground he has his slippers his sandals in his
[26:15]hand and he's fixing them he's fixing the broken sandal strap so
[26:21]he says i tell him oh amir there are people out here
[26:26]waiting for you dignitaries they're waiting for you and you are fixing
[26:29]your sandal give it to someone else he says he tells me
[26:35]o ibn abbas you see these sandals how much are they worth
[26:38]it tells them they're not worth anything he says this and this
[26:43]leadership is worth to me less than these sandals except for me
[26:47]the only reason i want it is so that i stand for
[26:51]what's right and uphold justice this is why i want it he
[26:59]did not allow he did not allow this dunya to come in
[27:04]his way you know a lot of people once they come to
[27:06]power we know a lot of people or you see people as
[27:10]soon as when they're living when they don't have anything they're living
[27:13]simple you see them coming to the masjid going everything is normal
[27:16]as soon as they have some money as soon as they have
[27:21]some power that's it you don't see them anymore if they if
[27:25]they're given a high position that's it they're gone he was not
[27:30]changed at all in fact his life became even more humble as
[27:35]a result of being the khalifa of the muslims one day a
[27:41]man he comes to kuffa and he sees amir al-mu'min he tells
[27:47]him oh amir al-mu'min i want to have aftar with you today
[27:50]because the man had heard of muawiyah's feasts and how many types
[27:55]of food muharram brings so he tells imam ali i want to
[28:00]have iftar with you today.
[28:00]imam ali tells him have iftar with the muslims and the masjid
[28:02]they're giving food they're giving iftar go and eat with them he
[28:07]said no no i want to eat with you.
[28:09]tells him if you insist come and eat with me he says
[28:12]i went into the house of amir al-mu'min and he took out
[28:17]a bag that had a lock on it he opens the lock
[28:21]he takes out a piece of bread and he hands it over
[28:24]to me he says i take the piece of bread i want
[28:25]to eat i see it so hard i can't even break it
[28:29]i had to break it with my knees she says i was
[28:33]thinking to myself why does adeb navital have this hard piece of
[28:38]bread that you could find anywhere why does he have it sealed
[28:42]in a bag and it's locked so he says i tell him
[28:46]i tell him what you know what's so significant about this piece
[28:48]of bread that you have it locked in a bag he tells
[28:52]him i have it locked in the bag so that my sons
[28:56]hassan and hussain do not come and place honey or some oil
[28:59]on this piece of bread i want to eat it dry this
[29:02]is how i want to eat it because i want to be
[29:05]at the lowest level of the lowest person in the society at
[29:12]the level of the one who is the lowest in our in
[29:17]our society this is why he writes a letter to one of
[29:18]his governors he tells him and know that your imam all that
[29:33]he has from his dunya is two pieces of outfit one for
[29:35]the summer and one for the winter and from his food two
[29:38]pieces of bread this was during his rule he was able to
[29:50]guarantee that there was no poor person when the khalifa when the
[29:54]leader lives according to the standard of the lowest then there won't
[29:57]be any poor people and they say that despite all of the
[30:01]battles that were waged against them despite all of the turbulence that
[30:04]was going on at the time amir al-mu'min was able to establish
[30:06]justice he says he says maybe in hijaz or maybe in yamama
[30:16]maybe there there's no one there's someone that doesn't have some but
[30:21]as for kufa kufa which was historians say over millions probably around
[30:27]4 million at that time he says i can guarantee that kufa
[30:36]was there was no poverty in kufa he ruled justly and he
[30:42]did not allow did not allow racism and bigotry to go on
[30:49]during his rule while the others those before him they did those
[30:53]before him they would give the arabs more than the non-arabs he
[30:59]would give the arab person and the non-arab the same some of
[31:04]them they object it some of them they come to him they
[31:07]tell him oh amir mean what are you doing you're giving me
[31:08]the same that you're giving this non-arab he tells them i read
[31:15]the quran and i didn't see anywhere in the quran it says
[31:17]the arab is better than a non-arab i saw the quran saying
[31:25]in the law at kakum he established justice even with his own
[31:30]family and he would sacrifice he would sacrifice his own family and
[31:36]the needs of his family today you see most of those who
[31:41]go to power they become corrupt with their family members they give
[31:44]this person and that person amir al-malibun did not do that even
[31:48]his brother his brother he comes and he begs for help and
[31:54]the miran says horrible situation but he keeps coming to me he
[32:25]keeps coming to me until i listen to him once he says
[32:41]i took a piece of metal i brought it next to aqil
[32:44]akhil says what are you doing do you want to burn me
[32:48]tells him of metal that a human being has put a flame
[33:14]on and you drag me to the fire that allah subhanahu ta'ala
[33:18]has heeded out of his anger and wrath no i won't treat
[33:25]you different than anyone else i'll treat you just like anyone else
[33:28]even if you're my brother one day one of the daughters of
[33:33]amir and mummy she goes and she borrows an earring or a
[33:38]piece of jewelry she borrows it a necklace from abu rafi the
[33:42]one who has the keys to baital mal for the eid amir
[33:46]moment sees her he tells her what are you doing what is
[33:48]this she tells him i borrowed it from abu rafa he tells
[33:53]her you want my stand to be prolonged in front of allah
[34:01]go and give it back does everyone have the opportunity was a
[34:13]leader who sacrificed his own comfort for the sake of others especially
[34:19]the orphans especially the needy the orphans amir al-mu'min would take care
[34:26]of them he would look after them after the battle of safin
[34:30]he goes to the houses and he checks up on the orphans
[34:34]those who their fathers were killed in the battle he goes to
[34:41]the house of hamad yasser and he sees his orphans he sees
[34:49]his children he begins to cry he says he says nothing breaks
[35:06]my heart as much as seeing an orphan that does not have
[35:11]a father anymore a father that looks after them a father that's
[35:16]there for them on the day of haid the father is there
[35:20]with them in times of comfort and times of sadness their father
[35:24]is there for them my dear brothers and sisters do we think
[35:26]of the orphans is the father of the orphans this is why
[35:31]when amir and minion passed away the orphans they felt orphaned once
[35:37]again because their father passed away their biological father passed away and
[35:41]now their father that loves them and takes care of them he's
[35:44]no longer with them one day kambar gambar was a servant of
[35:50]mean was a great man he says i was walking with ali
[35:55]ibn abi talib in the market and he saw a lady carrying
[35:58]something heavy some water so he takes it from her and she
[36:02]doesn't know this is she doesn't know this is ali abney he
[36:05]tells her let me help you he takes it from her she
[36:10]goes to the house he drops it off at the house she
[36:12]opens the door he hears the crying of the orphans he hears
[36:17]crying of children he tells her why are these children crying she
[36:21]tells him oh man their father was killed in the battle fighting
[36:26]with ali ibn abi fighting alongside amir al-mu'mineen and their father was
[36:33]killed so now they have no one i have no one so
[36:35]gambar says amir al-mu'min he left her and he goes to the
[36:41]market once again he buys some of the necessary items to prepare
[36:44]food and he comes to her once again he knocks on the
[36:49]door she opens the door she tells him who are you he
[36:52]tells her abdullah i am abdullah i am the slave of god
[36:57]i have come i have brought some food for your children.
[37:01]she looks at him she begins to cry and she says may
[37:07]allah judge between me and the ali ibn for he has left
[37:11]us and the strangers are taking care of us this was he
[37:15]doesn't tell her i am he goes in the house he tells
[37:22]her do you want me to prepare the food do you want
[37:25]me to take care of the children she tells him i will
[37:28]prepare the food but light the fire for me so he goes
[37:33]to the tanur to the stove he lights it he lights it
[37:36]on fire and then he brings his body close to the fire
[37:40]and he says taste the f the heat of the fire because
[37:52]this is what happens to the one who forgets the orphans and
[37:58]the widows and then the lady she goes and she starts cooking
[38:02]the bread and preparing the food while amir al-mu'min he goes and
[38:08]he starts playing with these children he starts playing with these children
[38:12]he gets on his knees they come and they ride on his
[38:15]back and they play with him because an orphan also needs a
[38:18]father to play with imam ali who was the khalifa who was
[38:23]the leader of what was equivalent to over 50 countries today amir
[38:27]and menin he would go and play with these orphans and then
[38:31]once the food was ready he takes the food and he places
[38:36]it in their mouth and he tells them with each bite say
[38:41]allah ali allah forgive allah then a lady comes in and she
[38:50]tells her what are you doing you have amir al-ms serving you
[38:54]in the house the lady didn't know that this was but that
[39:00]was amir and muhammad my dear brothers and sisters on a night
[39:05]like this after amir al-mu'min was struck imam ali alayhi salaam he
[39:11]tells them take me to my house they carry him as after
[39:15]leaving the masjid in the imam al-hasan imam and hussain some of
[39:19]his close companions are with him they're carrying him as he gets
[39:23]close to the house he tells them let me walk they tell
[39:27]him why he says i don't want to break the hearts of
[39:31]zainab if she sees her father being carried they take amir al-mu'min
[39:36]he tells them take me to my house place me in my
[39:41]house in my place of worship they place him there then they
[39:46]bring a doctor to come and see amir al-mu'mani and to come
[39:49]and check up on amir al-mu'min to check on the wound in
[39:53]the head of amir al-mu'min the doctor comes he takes a a
[39:59]vein an artery a vein from a sheep and he places it
[40:04]in the head of amir al-mu'mineen when he brings it out he
[40:08]sees that it has been filled with the poison that was placed
[40:13]in the sword that struck amir and mu'mini then the doctor he
[40:19]tells him o ali this blow you will not survive from it
[40:22]give tell your family your final farewells they tell him what can
[40:30]we do to help ease the pain of ali he tells them
[40:35]bring him some milk bring him some milk so that he drinks
[40:38]they bring the milk to amir al-mu'mani and all of the children
[40:44]all of the orphans of kufa they hear that their imam the
[40:48]doctor prescribed milk for him so they all stand in front of
[40:54]the house of ali abney carrying bowls of milk they bring milk
[40:58]for amir al-mu'min he tells them give the milk to the prisoner
[41:03]give the milk to abdulrahman wants to deal with him with justice
[41:15]they bring him they bring abdul rahman ibn may allah infinite curses
[41:22]be upon him looks at him tells him was i a bad
[41:29]imam for you was i a bad imam did i rule unjustly
[41:34]that you did this he spent his last hours there with his
[41:43]family and he begins to tell them he begins to tell them
[41:48]what will happen to them there on that moment in that day
[41:52]while his family were gathered around him he tells them of the
[41:59]tragedy of karbala and the tragedy of ashura because every imam in
[42:04]their moment of death they would cry for imam al-hussein there is
[42:14]no tragedy like yours
