[2:57]IM of our time IM respected Scholars brothers and sisters why did

[3:16]the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family Mary AA

[3:20]is without a doubt a question that is being asked by many

[3:25]within Shia circles indeed this question is a question which is often

[3:29]repeated in question and answer sessions that why would the holy prophet

[3:33]peace be upon him and his family marry AA considering with hindsight

[3:40]one looks at the events and how they unfolded in Islamic history

[3:43]such a question is asked by youths and Elders alike at the

[3:49]end of the day a person may be involved in discussions within

[3:52]their household or outside of their household sometimes we imagine that such

[3:59]discussions are only related to non Shia no on the contrary even

[4:03]amongst the Shia Community you'll find that there are many who ask

[4:09]this plausible question that why would the holy prophet peace be upon

[4:12]him and his family marry somebody who would eventually be a person

[4:18]who stands up against his holy household CU we know very well

[4:22]that this question comes from a number of angles one angle is

[4:27]our belief that the holy prophet peace be upon him and his

[4:29]family had has some sort of all of us and virtually every

[4:36]school in the religion of Islam theologically believes thatai has certain knowledge

[4:43]of the Unseen as well as the seen in the Quran Allah

[4:46]subhana waala highlights that there are some of our servants meaning some

[4:51]of our Messengers who we may give access to which others may

[4:56]not get inah 72 verse 26 to 27 you have he has

[5:09]knowledge of the Unseen and none has that access to that knowledge

[5:13]except of his Messengers who he is pleased with of his Messengers

[5:19]who is he is pleased with no doubt the one who he

[5:21]is pleased with more than any other is Muhammad s Al [Music]

[5:44]Allah subhah waala except those who are chosen Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[5:51]grants the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family access

[5:54]to knowledge which others may not be privy to Al is able

[6:01]to tell you depending on Allah not independent of Allah depending on

[6:06]Allah about an event that may happen in the future even battles

[7:35]of these theologies the theologies of the two differ when it comes

[7:42]to understanding the status of the wives really literally po opposites in

[7:46]the Sunni World a wife in reality can do no wrong in

[7:52]the same way we have 14 one may argue that in the

[7:59]Sunni world you have pretty much 9 10 who are of course

[8:01]the Sunni would reply by saying no they make mistakes but the

[10:03]when a person wants to examine why the prophet married AA doesn't

[10:07]sadden me that the non gives an answer saddens me that many

[10:12]of the Shia cannot answer if you ask yourself right now in

[10:17]your own conscious mind what answer would I give if my son

[10:25]asked me that question what answer would I give if my brother

[10:27]asked me like if my wife asked me if my class may

[10:31]ask me what answer would you give some would turn around and

[10:34]say Allah decided some will turn around and say thatas Allah must

[10:42]know best no the answer is in the Quran and the answer

[10:47]is clearly within Sunni literature someone says within the Quran is the

[10:52]answer yes but not just within the Quran even within is a

[11:00]clear statement of why Allah made Mar the statement which we will

[11:10]reveal tonight to make clear and answer this question once and for

[11:15]all so that everybody understands what really is a sad issue but

[11:20]a simple issue sad because whenever you are tested in life know

[11:24]that no one went through tests like and no Prophet was hurt

[11:34]like this prophet and no man was tortured with the behavior of

[11:37]those who he thought were his friends the way he was tonight

[11:43]I'd like to answer this question and I'd like to do it

[11:47]in the following stages number one which prophets in the Quran did

[11:50]Allah subhana wa ta'ala highlight that just because they married someone does

[11:55]not mean that's a stamp of approval on those people number two

[12:00]how did the marriage of those prophets get mentioned within the Quran

[12:05]number three who else is mentioned in that same Sur number four

[12:09]what is it in the life of the Prophet when he marries

[12:14]Khadijah and the marriage is after Khadijah are they for the same

[12:19]reason or for different reasons number five how Dida prove to be

[12:26]a test for him and all his wives and his daughters and

[12:29]his sons in-law in every aspect of their life number six how

[12:36]does IM which I'll show on the screen when I come to

[12:40]the point how does IM say go and get ready to fight

[12:45]her and how does explain that the reason why married was for

[12:56]Allah to test whether we'd follow his path or aa's path and

[15:18]when he marries his wife is she a Muslim or No Yes

[19:18]to a lady who when he married her was a Muslim but

[20:54]religious just because I am the grandson of a mar doesn't make

[22:48]living with the prophet of Allah subhah wa ta'ala of that time

[22:52]and they ended up what betraying that Prophet why the Quran mentioned

[22:58]this the Quran didn't just stop there Quran then said we told

[23:06]them enter Hellfire with the rest of them Ya Allah a ne's

[23:09]wife could enter hell that's imposs you must be joking NE the

[23:13]poor man his wife Quran says we told her Enter Hell so

[23:17]what if you're married to a prophet of Allah subhana wa tala

[23:20]you're married to a prophet you follow the of that Prophet you

[23:25]married to a prophet you follow the of that Prophet otherwise what

[23:29]makes you better than everybody else why should you just because I'm

[23:33]born arbitrarily and I got married to so and so that makes

[23:39]me better than you and that's why the Quran when it looked

[23:43]at the wives of the Quran made it clear to them oh

[23:52]wives of the Prophet you are not like any other wives if

[23:58]you have ta why why if you have if you don't have

[24:07]ta then you the mes of the man it doesn't make you

[24:09]holy because you're married to the man if the man wakes up

[24:13]for fer and you're fast asleep you cannot be at the same

[24:16]level as him true he's waking up for f and you're fast

[24:21]asleep just because you're his mes doesn't make you holy therefore the

[24:27]Quran in Surah 33:32 had set a criteria for the wives of

[24:31]and you know the funny thing about this ay people always quote

[25:23]you call Pure Love why marries a lady at 25 years of

[25:29]age he stays with her for 26 years until she dies and

[25:32]in those 26 years in the prime of his youth when he

[25:38]can marry anyone he doesn't marry anyone else but could have easily

[25:45]married others at that time if for goodness sake if we're allowed

[25:49]for and he is allowed more than that he could also go

[25:54]and marry at the same no for him say was everything for

[25:58]him Sayad was his whole life why because she believed in him

[26:04]when no one else believed in him correct no one else believed

[26:08]in him she and were the trium who used to be loyal

[26:13]to she was with him in the of Abu Talib yes her

[26:20]and Abu Talib and all of them were together they remained loyal

[26:27]to when Khadijah died it wasn't a day of grief it wasn't

[26:31]40 days of grief it wasn't two months and 8 days of

[26:36]grief it was one year of grief a year of grief that

[26:39]this lady my backbone has passed away she was my all she

[26:45]was my everything and above all else she gave me daughters but

[26:49]especially y that say when she died after that rasool Allah married

[26:59]soda and and then after soda he married AA and then he

[27:03]continued to marry the other wives these are the wives thatas alai

[27:07]married were for different reasons for example Z bin J his cousin

[27:16]he married her why he married her because she was originally married

[27:19]to his adopted son who Zade in those days you could not

[27:24]marry the ex-wife of your adopted son because they took the adopted

[27:31]like he's your real son your adopted son is not like your

[27:34]real son true yes adopted you're looking but not your real son

[27:39]so if your adopted son gets divorced can you marry his Miss

[27:42]yes because he's not like your real son my son if he

[27:48]gets divorced I cannot marry his ex but my adopted son to
