Dua Makarimul Akhlaq (The Honorable Morals) - in English and Urdu translation - in larger text.
This supplication has been taught by our fourth Imam, Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S) and is a clear indication of the loftiness of moral virtues expected of a believer. Islam believes in the elevation of the human being, that a human is a great and dignified creation, far above the animal world. One of the signs of this dignity is the possession of noble and magnanimous qualities.
In order to achieve this behavioural excellence, man needs to overcome his base and selfish attributes, and cultivate noble qualities. In this Dua, the Imam specifies these qualities, and shows how we can try to inculcate (implant) them in ourselves. Taken as a lesson in Akhlaq, the Dua is a wonderful program for those who wish to excel in good manners. (source: al-islam.org)
Would highly recommend my dear brothers and sisters to read a book: 'In the Presence of the Beloved', by Agha Misbah Yazdi - for it contains commentaries on the three beautiful supplications: Dua Iftitah, Dua Abu Hamzah Thumali and as well as Dua Makarimul Akhlaq.

The supplication of Arafah by Imam al-Hussain (A.S) is the most important Shi'a supplication that is recited on the Day of 'Arafah. This supplication contains some of the highest theological and spiritual teachings
It was first recited by Imam al-Hussain (A.S) along his companions on the Day of 'Arafah, in the desert of 'Arafat out of their tents. Bishr and Bashir, two sons of Ghalib al-Asadi, have narrated that: during the last hours of 'Arafah, we were with Imam al-Hussain (A.S). Among a group of his family members, relatives and his Shi'a, the Imam (A.S) came out of the tent, and with the utmost humility and obeisance, he stood on the left side of the mountain, turned his face toward the direction of Ka'bah, raised his hands toward the sky in front of his face and started this supplication. (Ref: Sheikh Abbas al-Qummi, Mafatih al-Jinan, page 363)
In some Islamic countries like: Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan this supplication is recited in groups. Sometimes, especially during Hajj period and in the desert of 'Arafat, thousands of people recite this supplication together.
The supplication of 'Arafah by Imam al-Hussain (A.S) comprises of different teachings, some of the most important main topics include:
1. Knowing God and counting divine attributes, reestablishing the covenant with God. Knowing the Prophets and renewing the spiritual relation with them. Remembering the Day of Judgment and expressing the beliefs in heart.
2. Reflecting on and remembering limitless bounties given by God to human beings and thanking and praising God for them.
3. Expressing humility and confessing to the sins, making repentance and return from them, asking for forgiveness and a move toward acquiring praised virtues and good deeds.
4. Making different requests which starts by sending salutation to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his pure progeny (A.S) and then asking for forgiveness, the light of guidance, mercy, blessings, abundant sustenance, reward in hereafter.

About Abu Hamza Thumali (r):
His name was Thabit b. Safiya and was known as Abu Hamza Thumali. He was a close companion of Imam Ali Zaynul Abidin (a). Commenting on the worship of his master he said, “I have never heard that there is a person more ascetic than Ali b. al-Husayn, who caused to weep all those were in his presence when he talked about asceticism and preaching.”
He has related that during the month of Ramadhan, Imam as-Sajjad (a) spent a greater part of the night in prayers and when it was the time of beginning of the fast he recited the Dua e Abu Hamza Thumali. This supplication has been recorded in the book Misbah and also appears in Shaykh Abbas al- Qummi's Mafatihul Jinan. (source: themuslimvibe)

The book 'In the Presence of the Beloved' by Agha Misbah Yazdi, he beautifully explains and gives a commentary of Dua Abu Hamza Thumali, Dua Iftitah and Dua Makarimul Akhlaq. Insha'Allah, by reading this book, we will understand the meanings more of the beautiful supplications of the Holy Month of Ramadhan.
Dhikr, the beautiful names of Allah SWT - recited by Sayed Mustafa al-Mousawi
The word Dhikr has three meanings to it: verbal, spiritual and the applied or practical Dhikr.
The verbal Dhikr is something easy; the Dhikr in the heart which makes up the spiritual Dhikr is somewhat more difficult; while the Dhikr which is manifest in one's actions is the most difficult of all!
The Dhikr in one's actions means that in a person's actions in his life, he recognizes that Allah SWT is present and watching - his actions truly show that he realizes that Allah SWT is present all the time.
"The ninety-nine noble attributes of Allah SWT are a heavenly spiritual enrichment. Each noble quality is an institution that speaks about Allah. A true believer loves Allah more than anything else. Therefore, these noble attributes will allow a trustworthy, honorable, wise, benevolent, successful, humble, and in awe of Allah. As a result of this knowledge and close attendance to Allah, righteous acts become natural in a person, and evil deeds become infrequent. These results naturally come from the reflections and in-depth knowledge of Allah and His attributes.
His beautiful attributes are witnessed and abide in each particle and atom of the matter throughout the entire immeasurable universe. Contemplating the world can also remind us of Allah’s other signs, such as Heaven and Hell and the Hereafter.
Dhikr (by rememberance or recitation) utilizes the signs of Allah and His creations as a means of recollection and contemplation. The attributes: The Merciful, the Owner of mercy, the Giver of mercy, the Wise, the Pure, the Able, the King, the Cherisher, the Gracious, the Exalted, the Dominion, and the Master are a few attributes from which the spiritual nourishment of a pious believer drawn."
أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللٌّهِ تَطْمَئِنَّ الْقُلُوبِ
“Now surely with the remembrance (Dhikr) of Allah are the hearts put at rest and ease.” [Surat al-Rad (13), verse 28]
