مَا تمَّ أُنسُ المحفِلِ إلا بِذِكرك يا عَلي
The gathering is not completely satisfactory without your remembrance Ya Ali (Oh Ali)

ما ذاقَ ثغري طعْمَ لفظٍ كانَ أحلى مِنْ علي
My tongue has not tasted a sweeter word than [the word] Ali

أنا إنْ شكوتُ الهمَّ زالَالهمُّ باسمكَ يا علي
If I complain of an issue, the issue is removed by your name Ya Ali

وإذا غزَتْني النّائِباتُ هزمتُها بكَ يا علي
And if calamities attack me, I defeat them with you Ya Ali

أنا لستُ أملكُ للإلهِ وسيلةً إلا علي
I do not have a means to God, except [for] Ali

أنا مَا عرَفتُ اللهَ إلا مُذْ عرفتُكَ يا علي
I did not know Allah, until I knew you Ya Ali

صِرنا الرّوافِضَ مُذْ رفضـنَا حُبَّ خصمِكَ يا علي
We became Rawafidh [Rejectors] after rejecting the love of your enemies ya Ali

عَابُوا علينا قولَنا في كلِّ شيءٍ يا عَلي
They condemned our saying in everything, Ya Ali

حتَّى النَّبيُّ محمد مُذْ ضَاقَ نادَى يا علي
Even when the Prophet Mohammed was troubled he called Ya Ali

مِفتَاحُ بابِ إجابِةِ الـدعَوَاتِ صرخةُ يا علي
The key to the gate of answering prayers is the call, Ya Ali

سَنَظلُّ حَتَّى آخرِ الـأنفاسِ نهتِفُ يا علي
Until our last breaths, we will continue to say, Ya Ali
