[0:27]for example here in Mecca few a special sense of connection and

[0:31]spirituality being next to the holy Kaa Salah is usually on time

[0:38]there's more and Quran recitation and generally less sins are committed but

[0:42]as soon as we return home things go back the same as

[0:45]they were why is that interestingly the same question was presented to

[0:50]IM his ntion found in volume 17 a man by the name

[0:57]of Salam said I was with Abu jaam when entered and asked

[1:04]him about various matters when was about to leave he said to

[1:07]the IM may Allah prolong your life and keep us blessed with

[1:11]you whenever we come to you we leave with softened Hearts detached

[1:15]from worldly matters and what others possess of wealth seems insignificant to

[1:20]us but when we return to society and engage with Traders we

[1:25]once again develop an attachment to this world why is this Imam

[1:31]replied indeed the hearts fluctuate sometimes they find things difficult and sometimes

[1:36]they find them easy then he continued the companions of the messenger

[1:40]of Allah once said oh messenger of Allah We Fear hypocrisy upon

[1:44]ourselves he asked why do you fear that they replied when we

[1:50]are with you and you remind us of Allah and the Hereafter

[1:51]we are filled with awe and fear we forget about the worldly

[1:57]life and we become detached from it as if we are witnessing

[2:00]thereafter paradise and Hell before our very own eyes however when we

[2:04]return to our homes see our children interact with our families and

[2:08]engage with wealth we begin to drift away from that state as

[2:14]if we were never upon anything of Faith or awareness do you

[2:17]fear that this is hypocrisy in us the messenger of Allah s

[2:22]alai wasallam responded no this is merely one of the steps of

[2:25]Shan by which he tempts you towards the World by Allah if

[2:30]you were to remain constant in the state you experience when you

[2:33]are with me in the state that you just described the Angels

[2:35]would greet you with handshakes and you would walk upon water essentially

[2:42]what this means is two things the power of being next to

[2:45]the or to the holy oh holy Shrine and how rewarding that

[2:50]state is and two going back we will be in a struggle

[2:52]with Shan and if we can maintain any form of dedication and

[2:58]use light we gained Upon Our return then we will definitely we

[3:02]see many benefits inshallah [Music]
