Every chapter in the Holy Quran has a unique name that is derived from a central theme or idea, distinguishing it from the rest of the chapters. Sayed Mohammed Baqer Al-Qazwini dedicates this lecture in highlighting the main topic embodied within the Chapter of The Human (Surat Al-Insan), which revolves around a family that perfectly manifest altruism, kindness and faith, the family of The Ahlulbayt (A.S.). [0:18]has created everything in utmost perfection and may the peace and blessings

[0:33]best of his creation the peak of humanity the holy prophet muhammad

[0:40]sallallahu alayhi wa ala and may God's peace and blessings be upon

[0:47]the pure progeny of a debate especially the leader of our time

[0:54]the awaited savior al imam and midi a general Allah Allah for

[0:59]Allah may God hasten his reappearance and make us all amongst his

[1:05]sincere and dedicated servants ceremony Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala states in the

[1:14]holy quran bismillah ar-rahman ar-rahim innominate mo kung Li hua GE la

[1:26]Allah Allah aleem illuminates your hearts and minds with a very loud

[1:36]Salah wat Allah Allah Allah Allah subhana WA Ta'ala has revealed 114

[1:43]chapters in the Holy Quran each of these sorezore chapters has a

[1:49]name or multiple names because Allah is honoring these chapters when you

[1:56]interact with these chapters it's as if you're interacting with a living

[2:04]being not just with paper or pen or some words and just

[2:07]ideas the Quran is very lively hence Allah subhana Allah has given

[2:13]each chapter of the whole or on a unique and wonderful name

[2:20]many times when we reference the Holy Quran we usually do what

[2:24]we many people do this sometimes we sometimes we even do that

[2:28]for example if we're referring to surah al-e-imran verse 55 we just

[2:38]say verse 555 surah 5 verse 55 or when we write this

[2:41]down we write 5 : 55 now the way I understand it

[2:48]and I see it is that each surah has a name refer

[2:52]to the name of the surah they mentioned the reference but for

[2:56]us just to put a number and have this number referred to

[3:00]the surah I personally feel it's not appropriate all of us have

[3:06]a name right imagine if someone refers to you by a number

[3:09]how would you feel about that it's the same and even more

[3:15]with the book of allah subhana wa ta'ala every chapter is unique

[3:19]so refer to each chapter using its name say surah al-e-imran 555

[3:24]that's fine you can mention a number but always mention the name

[3:30]of the surah allah subhana wa ta'ala did not randomly assign these

[3:36]names to these chapters each chapter when you analyze the name you

[3:44]see that the name is actually a very important theme around which

[3:50]the surah revolves it's a central idea many of us do not

[3:54]know why certain chapters of the holy quran are given certain names

[4:01]the longest chapter of the Quran is surah al-baqara the chapter of

[4:06]the cow why did God say assign this name to it why

[4:11]did allah subhanaw taala name this chapter the chapter of the cow

[4:16]ask most Muslims and they're clueless yes maybe they've heard that there

[5:00]holy quran each name of the chapter is highly significant now on

[6:21]Allah subhana WA Ta'ala from verses 5 to 20 to 18 verses

[6:33]subhana WA Ta'ala discusses the most complete human beings and in san

[6:45]gives us the story of an altruistic act a generous act that

[6:55]was done by the special family Allah speaks about a family in

[7:02]this holy chapter which gave us the finest examples in generosity in

[7:08]giving in altruism in philanthropy on the outside when you look at

[7:15]their act it was very humble it seemed very simple but in

[7:19]the eyes of Allah subhana WA Ta'ala that act of generosity was

[7:25]so important such that allah subhana wa ta'ala revealed and in an

[7:31]entire chapter and all the quran in their honor so little in

[9:21]water and on the day of judgment it's also water but that

[9:26]water is different than this water has a different dimension to it

[9:30]it has a different joy to it one of the pleasures of

[9:33]life is what we drink the water you drink the juice that

[9:38]you drink the soda that you drink those who drink alcohol and

[9:42]wine they'll tell you that this is one of the joys in

[9:46]life they go to specific restaurants just because of the types of

[9:50]wines that they offer these are the joys of life some allah

[9:56]has made lawful summer less panettone has made unlawful but in paradise

[10:01]allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala will even make wine lawful for the believers there

[10:05]is one river in paradise that's made from wine as the holy

[13:34]along with their maid or servant who was filled when they made

[13:40]a vow with God oh Allah if you cure Hasan and Husayn

[13:46]we shall fast for three days for your sake we shall fast

[13:50]three days for Allah subhana WA Ta'ala allah subhanaw taala cures them

[13:56]and then it become it comes the time where they are fulfilling

[14:03]their vow with the Almighty God now imagine this wonderful family in

[14:08]Medina the family of a labate they're fasting for God a man

[14:11]I live Nabi of Allah - Salam when he wanted to fast

[14:16]the Imam wanted to bring some food the Imam alayhis-salam he goes

[14:22]and he gets a loan he borrows some money in order to

[14:28]go and buy some barley so they can make bread with it

[14:32]brothers and sisters your Imam had to borrow money for a few

[14:39]loaves of bread this is how their life conditions were and some

[14:42]of us think we have financial problems we have issues in life

[14:46]how maybe this is your imam the second best creation of god

[14:52]he has to borrow money just to buy some bread for his

[14:55]family you don't think our Imams had problems why are these such

[15:03]fine examples because their problems were ten thousand times more difficult than

[15:08]our problems yet they remained patient yet they remained true believers in

[15:13]God and yet they remain generous with humanity that's why we follow

[15:18]them lame Ahmadi is Saddam he borrows some money according to one

[15:23]hadith from a Jewish man he borrows some money he buys some

[15:28]barley he brings it home Fatima to Zahra at a salon is

[15:30]now baking the bread they fast on first day all they had

[15:36]for a Father's 1 a cup of water and just a few

[15:42]loaves of bread well even the loaf of bread gets taken away

[15:45]from them shortly before they're breaking their fast someone knocks at the

[15:50]door they opened the door they see a miskeen way open a

[16:00]destitute someone who's extremely poor he says please feed me Allah will

[16:08]feed you on the day of judgment they take the loaves of

[16:10]bread that they have and they give it to this poor person

[16:27]well imagine fasting a full day and then you break your fast

[17:10]night but they give those loaves of bread to that orphan the

[17:17]third day shortly before breaking their fast this time who comes what

[17:23]I see are a captive a Wayfarer a prisoner of war he

[17:27]comes and he asks them for the food and they give it

[17:31]to him for three days they live on water only Allah but

[17:36]look at their patience look at their humanity look at their generosity

[17:40]for the sake of Allah subhana wa tada then after these three

[17:45]days imam al hasan and husayn worship from hunger I mean many

[17:50]Nadia Saran takes them to the Prophet the Prophet sees his two

[17:54]grandsons are shivering from hunger he becomes very disappointed he's very hurt

[17:59]at that scene he comes to visit Fatima alehissalaam he sees father

[18:03]mother is also shivering from hunger at that point to the Prophet

[18:12]is very disturbed that his family is going through this pain when

[18:17]at that point Jabara ills descends on the Prophet from Allah subhana

[18:21]WA Ta'ala and he tells him o Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa on

[18:27]let me give you some good news from Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala

[18:34]Allah has accepted the actions of your Allen bait and allah is

[22:52]when the Prophet left Mecca he went to Medina now the pagans

[22:56]waged wars against the Prophet so you had sometimes captives they were

[23:01]in Medina they were sometimes brought to Medina sometimes it would be

[23:04]freed they would become Muslim or they'd be simply freed and maked

[23:10]there were no se and this disproves they claim of women taymiyah

[25:04]no our body has the capacity to store fat and then the

[25:07]liver uses that fat to convert it to sugar which sends it

[25:13]to the brain no the brain will not die in 3 days

[25:18]if you don't eat any food if that would have happened a

[25:20]lot of people throughout history would have would have died you know

[25:23]today and hamdullah we have the food available to us but in

[25:30]the past this was not the case for example you have this

[25:33]doctor dr.

[25:34]Alex he's suffering he has written a book about prolonged fasting in

[25:38]fact I know some people I know some relatives one of my

[25:45]relatives he told me once that he fasted for 21 days because

[25:47]he had an issue with his intestines and some doctor told him

[25:53]fast for 21 days just drink water and some sugar or salt

[25:55]with it for 21 days he said I did not eat any

[25:59]food 21 days and he survived you want the end of bait

[26:02]to die in three days Ahmed even hanbin he narrates an authentic

[26:06]sahih hadith he says once fatima at a hair salon she gave

[26:13]a small piece of bread to her father was through the knots

[26:28]for three this is the prophet of Allah according to a hadith

[26:37]days without eating any food just on water so we see these

[26:44]are silly attempts their only goal is to remove the virtues of

[26:48]a debate peace be upon them a third objection that I been

[26:53]tamiya for example raises he says when you look at certain inside

[26:56]when you look at the topics that are discussed in the surah

[27:02]it matches the sudras that were revealed and making the style and

[27:06]the content of it is similar to those Soler's and make because

[27:10]it talks about the creation of the human being about the day

[27:18]on the day of judgment so this is also an indication that

[27:22]this surah was not revealed in medina because the surahs the chapters

[27:33]see also this is another silly attempt we also have some surahs

[27:41]which were revealed in medina that also speak about the creation of

[27:45]the human being about the day of judgment about the simple belief

[27:53]day of judgment the punishment of God on the day of judgment

[28:01]human being yet it was revealed in Medina look at surah al-hajj

[30:44]be true to your promises fulfill your promise they say that once

[30:51]there was a king who one day as you was going back

[30:53]to his castle he saw one of those guards at the door

[30:58]there was a very cold night and he saw that it was

[31:03]a cold night so he asked the guard he told him you're

[31:08]wearing thin clothes how is it that you are keeping warm on

[31:11]such a cold night he tells an old king that's all I

[31:16]have I'm poor I don't have any warm clothes to keep me

[31:19]warm on Saturday night they came told him ok I'll go into

[31:25]the palace now I'll have my servants bring you some good clothes

[31:28]that will keep you warm on such a night the King goes

[31:35]into his castle he forgets about the guard he gets busy with

[31:38]his life he forgets about the guard the next day he is

[31:43]told that that guard passed away last night and he's left they

[31:46]know it's for you they bring this letter of this note to

[31:50]the king he reads it he tells him all King for 16

[31:55]years I've been your guard here and I was able to bear

[32:01]all those cold nights but these are the final words that I'm

[32:05]writing tonight you promised me you would get me some clothes it's

[32:09]your promise that is killing me now now after you promised me

[32:13]I can no longer bear the coldness of the night and these

[32:18]are my final words he died when you promise brothers and sisters

[32:22]others realize the damage you can do if you don't fulfill those

[32:27]promises if you can't fulfill a promise don't promise anyone in the

[32:33]first place who forced you to promise anyone when you give someone

[32:37]your word stick to that word because you can ruin someone's life
