On March 9, the U.S.–Israeli war on Iran entered its eleventh day. Deadly airstrikes hit residential areas in Arak and Tehran, with dozens reported killed, as explosions erupted during a large pro-government gathering in Tehran’s Revolution Square. Iranian officials say 1,348 people have been killed and more than 17,000 wounded since the war began. Iran has launched new waves of retaliatory strikes targeting Israeli sites and U.S. bases across the region, while Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq report dozens of operations against Israeli and U.S. positions. As Israel expands attacks in Beirut’s southern suburbs and reports emerge of white phosphorus use in southern Lebanon, tensions are also rising around the Strait of Hormuz after Iran warned it could halt regional oil exports if U.S. and Israeli attacks continue.

[0:00]It is now day 11 of the US-Israeli war on Iran.

[0:03]Here's a roundup of what happened in the past 24 hours.

[0:08]Iran's Mean News Agency reported that five people have been killed and

[0:11]several injured in a USIsraeli air strike targeting a residential building in

[0:15]the city of Iraq in western Iran.

[0:17]The Iranian Red Crescent also confirmed a major air strike on a

[0:21]residential complex in Tehran's Relisat Square that killed at least 40 people.

[0:26]Powerful explosions erupted live on Iranian state TV at a large gathering

[0:30]in Thrron's revolutionary square as attendees continued to chant in support of

[0:34]the Islamic Republic, waving Iranian flags in defiance of the US bombs.

[0:38]This comes as US war secretary Pete Hegath announced that today would

[0:42]be the most intense day of strikes against Iran and would involve

[0:45]the largest deployment of fighter jets and bombers.

[0:48]The head of Iran's emergency medical services said that 1,348 Iranians have

[0:52]been killed and more than 17,000 wounded since the beginning of the

[0:56]war.

[0:57]Iran's armed forces said it launched Arash 2 drones at oil and

[1:01]gas refinery facilities and fuel storage tanks in Hifa in response to

[1:05]attacks on Iranian oil depots.

[1:06]This comes as the IRGC announced the 34th and 35th wave of

[1:09]retaliatory attacks which saw a range of Iranian missiles and drones including

[1:13]the Kaibar hypersonic missile strike US troops at the Alafra and Eljafar

[1:19]bases as well as Israeli sites including the Rama David air base,

[1:22]Hifa airport and missile launchers in the east of Tel Aviv.

[1:24]Iran's IRGC public relations stated 104 drones, including the Hermes, Hebrron, Orbiter,

[1:30]and MQ9 models, have been shot down by Iran's air defense system

[1:34]from the onset of the war thus far.

[1:36]Israeli Army spokesperson Aviche Adre announced the start of the bombing spree

[1:40]on Daha, Beirut's southern suburb, and Elgard Al Hassan.

[1:44]Human Rights Watch said in a Monday report that Israel used illegal

[1:47]white phosphorus over southern Lebanon homes.

[1:50]Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced over 27 operations against Israel thus far with various

[1:55]rocket and drone launches against the regime.

[1:58]The Islamic Resistance in Iraq also said its fighters carried out 37

[2:02]operations against enemy bases in Iraq and across the region over the

[2:06]past 24 hours, involving dozens of drones and missiles.

[2:08]The Pentagon said today that 140 US service members have been wounded

[2:13]in the first 10 days of the war with Iran.

[2:15]And the Israeli Minister of Health said 2,339 Israelis are injured and

[2:20]receiving treatment from Iranian attacks with 12 in critical condition.

[2:23]Trump threatened death, fire, and fury if Iran keeps blocking the key

[2:27]straight of Hormuz.

[2:28]But Iran vowed it won't allow one liter of oil to leave

[2:31]the Middle East until US and Israeli attacks cease.

[2:35]Deputy Foreign Minister Kasamadi said some countries including China, Russia, and France

[2:38]have contacted Iran regarding a ceasefire.

[2:40]But foreign minister Abbas Arai said today that Iran would continue fighting

[2:45]as long as necessary.

[2:48]Iran's parliamentary speaker also reiterated that Iran is not seeking a ceasefire.
