[0:00]haha [Applause] [Music] [Music] why is following Islamic law is so important

[0:21]many people mistakenly believe that the laws in Shariah that we practice

[0:25]somehow benefit God that when we do a good deed Allah has

[0:32]benefited and we do a sin Allah is God is speaking here

[0:40]he's saying they did not wrong us but they were only wronging

[0:43]themselves in another verse from the same chapter Allah says and whatever

[0:51]good you put forward for yourselves you will find the fruits of

[0:55]it with God for yourselves the law is for the benefit of

[1:00]the human being which means that sometimes the law is going to

[1:01]make you uncomfortable it's going to put constraints on your body on

[1:06]your relationships with yourself with others because the one who created you

[1:12]knows that your desires must be subdued under a system of law

[1:15]so that you can come to life as a flourishing soul and

[1:19]not simply as a human an animal that lives for the sake

[1:21]of their bodily whims the Holy Quran is replete with verses several

[1:24]several verses across the holy book where God thus Tech heeds he

[1:28]repeatedly asserts and warns whoever is guided it is for the benefit

[1:36]of his own soul whoever goes astray only goes astray against their

[1:41]own soul however does a good deed it is for themselves and

[1:48]whoever does evil does evil against himself whoever sees clearly it is

[1:56]for the benefit of his own soul whoever is blind does harm

[1:59]against his own self these are scary reminders because many Muslims live

[2:03]on lawful lives they don't practice the Islamic law and they are

[2:08]completely oblivious to the damage that they're inflicting upon their souls these

[2:13]are just a few verses out of so many where God repeats

[2:15]that what you do either obedience or sin it's not for or

[2:21]against me it's for or against your own self sure we don't

[2:24]see it yet but it's like a person who injects poison into

[2:28]their body day after day they don't see what they're doing to

[2:31]themselves everything looks fine on the outside but if they were to

[2:36]see what their insides look like they would see that they're withered

[2:39]and dying they would be horrified the people in this world can

[2:45]hide behind their physicality they can hide behind their bodies they can

[2:49]be terrible humans on the inside but dress up very beautifully have

[2:52]cunning traits decorate their skins and appear pretty and attractive to us

[2:56]but in the Hereafter that's impossible since it is the world of

[3:02]truth there's no body behind which our souls can hide the way

[3:04]you look in the Hereafter will be according to the beauty or

[3:07]wretchedness of your soul in this world the way we see in

[3:12]sins a lot of us see it very superficially music lying disrespecting

[3:15]parents not waking up for veget we see them as passing actions

[3:21]I do it it's short-lived it's all good not at all every

[3:25]single action whether good or bad has a spiritual reality that we

[3:29]don't see every single action corresponds to a reality in the other

[3:34]world this is what the doctrine means meaning all of our Deeds

[3:40]come to life in the form of either Beautiful Creatures or frightful

[3:43]things that will torment Us in the hereafter some of us think

[3:49]that Allah is out to get us in the hereafter but that's

[3:53]not what happens the Holy Quran states that in the Hereafter [Music]

[3:58]your recompense will be precisely what you did that's it what you

[4:05]receive is going to be your own actions it's what you did

[4:10]to yourself your prayer will come to you as a source of

[4:12]relief in a source of light the joy that you brought other

[4:17]people the Quran that you read the charity that you gave the

[4:19]smile in the face of a stranger all of these actions will

[4:24]come to life as a guide and comfort for you but also

[4:26]your sins they will come to life according to their dark reality

[4:31]not only that but these realities live with you now it's not

[4:33]that they come to life and they're alive at this moment you

[4:36]just don't see them but if the veil were lifted some people

[4:41]would find that their souls are a paradise and others would find

[4:45]that their souls are hell God describes the situation the Holy Quran

[4:50]he says you on the day of judgment is going to be

[4:54]said to them you were certainly unmindful of this you are oblivious

[4:56]of this and we have now removed from you your cover so

[5:01]your sight today is sharp we remain on unmindful and oblivious to

[5:04]this truth we delay our talba we delay seeking repentance and forgiveness

[5:10]from God we postpone committing to our religion sin upon sin until

[5:14]we are engulfed in Endless sins which we now have to carry

[5:19]their heaviness and darkness on our backs to the Grave you were

[5:25]oblivious to this you were unmindful you kept postponing you kept belittling

[5:30]your Deeds so we removed from you your reveal the Quran says

[5:36]your will notice the verse says we removed from you your will

[5:39]you were your own will nothing else is the optimal time to

[5:46]renew our commitment to a Godly life awaken from our unmindfulness into

[5:50]tauba to Allah for the sins that we have accumulated that had

[5:54]made us unmindful and spiritually asleep every step we take towards Allah

[6:03]will come to life every positive action will come to life in

[6:06]the most beautiful forms and it's going to be the source of

[6:10]our relief and pleasure in the Hereafter so we must begin in

[6:12]this holy month to renew our actions renew our intentions and return

[6:16]to Allah in the most beautiful forms foreign [Music]
