[1:19]a beautiful Hadith about Fatima too that we are commemorating her shahada

[1:27]tonight IBN Abba says during the life of rasulullah Salim foreign he

[1:43]went inside the Masjid of rasulullah he sees the prophet is sitting

[1:50]with his companions he goes to the prophet and you know it

[1:55]is said through Traditions that when someone would go to the Masjid

[1:59]of rasulullah it would be difficult for them to know which one

[2:03]is rasulullah why because rasulullah was so humble and down to earth

[2:08]that he sat with everybody else he didn't have a specific spot

[2:14]for the prophet he didn't have a chair or he didn't have

[2:16]a designated spot he sat just like everyone else so if you

[2:21]had not seen him before you enter his Masjid you see other

[2:23]companions you don't even know which ones Allah so you would have

[2:26]to ask they tell you this one is rasulullah this was from

[2:30]the humility so this has never seen the prophet he comes he

[2:38]asks him some questions and then he asks rasulullah for some help

[2:45]he asks him for some zad zad basically is in English it's

[2:52]your provision the provisions that you need in any trip when you

[2:56]go on a trip there are some things you need in the

[3:00]trip like food water correct snacks if you go on a road

[3:02]trip you're going to take some sandwiches you're gonna take some snacks

[3:07]some drinks nowadays there's restaurants everywhere so maybe Zod isn't that important

[3:14]but at least you take your credit card in cash right but

[3:16]before when you're going on a trip you make sure you pack

[3:22]you pack enough food for that trip so this wanted to go

[3:24]back to his family wherever that was he asked rasulullah for some

[3:29]zad there's no restaurants on the way give me some food so

[3:34]that I can go back rasulullah looked at his companions and he

[3:38]told them whoever amongst you o my dear companions rasulullah wants to

[3:48]give his companions an opportunity to do a good deed he could

[3:51]have gave it directly because he wants to give them the opportunity

[4:06]whoever gives this provision Allah guarantee you that Allah will give you

[4:15]your zad and Allah will give you the best Zod that is

[4:21]possible and that is you see the Holy Quran when the Quran

[4:27]speaks about the concept of zad which is remember what we need

[4:33]in any trip the Quran says this the Quran says take the

[4:43]provisions you need for your trip why foreign the best thing for

[4:48]you to stack up you know some people I've seen when their

[4:50]garages are open Masha Allah the water bottles they go to Costco

[4:55]Sam's Club they buy 5 000 bottles of water it's as if

[4:59]they're waiting for the day of judgment right and I remember when

[5:04]the pandemic began people were just stocking up stalking stalking stalking so

[5:07]the Quran says the best thing for you to stock is because

[5:13]this is the most beneficial thing for you in your trip now

[5:20]which trap is the Quran speaking about the most important trip of

[5:24]your lives brothers and sisters a trip that we all have to

[5:27]go to we all have to go through and that is the

[5:31]trip from this Dunya to the next life it is a trip

[5:35]because we will move on we will leave everything behind and we

[5:38]will go to a New Life that's my new house Ya Allah

[5:52]the grave so have mercy on my on my soul when I

[5:55]am taken to that new house to that new place so the

[5:58]most important zad that you will need is for that trip what's

[6:02]the most beneficial thing in that trip taqwa piety piety meaning stay

[6:11]away from Haram that's the best thing you can do there's a

[6:15]tradition that's narrated from Imam it's also found in the book of

[6:19]another variation but but the variation I'm mentioning you can see I

[6:25]believe and find it in the book of elected judge Imam Ali

[6:28]alaihissalam took his companions one day to the graveyard and you know

[6:33]it's highly recommended to visit the graveyard I think I spoke about

[6:36]this whoever attended my lectures in Ramadan that one of the habits

[6:41]of a Pious believer to always visit the graveyards if you have

[6:45]relatives make it a habit every Friday if they'll if they are

[6:48]buried here locally if not every Friday once a month if not

[6:53]once every two months even if you don't have relatives go and

[6:56]visit them and I mentioned the benefits of that first of all

[6:59]you benefit because there is ebrah in that it's a reminder that

[7:04]you one day will go so this keeps you on track and

[7:06]focused on the akhara and number two you read fataha you do

[7:11]some good Amal for these that are looking forward for us to

[7:14]visit them and do good deeds for them so anyway Imam Ali

[7:19]goes to the graveyard in Salam the Hadith says and you know

[7:23]what is Salam is the largest graveyard on Earth there is no

[7:30]Cemetery that is older and larger than there's roads inside it you

[7:36]can walk you can in your car and you can drive for

[7:39]10 minutes inside I don't know throughout history maybe over a billion

[7:43]people have been buried there only Allah knows you and you can

[7:45]imagine who's buried there you have buried their uh HUD and Saleh

[7:51]food and salad they're from thousands of years ago and Prophet Adam

[7:57]the first human being is buried next to Imam Ali which is

[8:00]almost an extension or right next to ADI Salam so anyway he

[8:05]goes to what is salaam with his companions and then he remarkably

[8:11]begins to speak to the Dead he begins to speak to the

[8:17]Dead the companions they start to write down what the Imam said

[8:20]he began to speak to them as if they're alive he told

[8:24]them oh you who have been buried six feet under in the

[8:31]dust oh you lonely ones [Music] the Imam speaks to the dead

[8:46]but this is as they say he wants them he wants his

[8:52]companions to listen meaning [Music] [Music] foreign the Imam is telling these

[10:32]dead this is what happened after you left and Alive continue with

[10:35]the same materialistic Dunya and then he said [Music] if you want

[10:42]to ask about the Dunya what news what happened after you died

[10:45]everything moved on do you have to bring to us from the

[10:52]underground tell us what happened when you died in the next life

[10:58]tell us now of course they can't reply so why would he

[11:00]ask he wants to teach them Allah tell us what happened and

[11:07]what was beneficial then the Imam said if Allah would allow them

[11:17]they can hear me the dead but they cannot reply to me

[11:21]if they were allowed to speak back to me they would all

[11:27]say one word subhanallah they would all say one phrase they would

[11:33]recite the verse of the Quran where Allah says the best zad

[11:39]zad is what to take with you on a trip is make

[11:41]sure that before you die you have stocked enough of taqwa piety

[11:48]fear of Allah azzawajin God Consciousness piety means to stay away from

[11:56]Haram this is the most important zad for you to take to

[11:59]the next life it's more important than all your Amman it's more

[12:01]important than Salah sayam fast things why because without taqwa none of

[12:10]this will count mother inside Allah says that I will only accept

[12:28]from those that have piety meaning if you want to sin left

[12:31]and right what's the point of your good deeds our sins sometimes

[12:35]they burn eat away our Good Deeds our sins and validate our

[12:48]Good Deeds so the most important thing in our lives to take

[12:52]if you want to prepare for the next life as taqwa teach

[12:58]yourself to stay away from Haram to stay as far away from

[13:04]what Allah forbid you this is the most beneficial thing in your

[13:07]grave so the Imam says if the dead could answer they would

[13:10]all tell us this go back to the story of rasulullah where

[13:17]were we Arabi comes to the messages to go back to his

[13:24]home rasulullah says whoever gives him his zad I guarantee you Allah

[13:28]will give you your zad the zadav which is the most important

[13:34]thing that you need for the most important trip of your life

[13:37]so give this meal Allah will give you something much greater to

[13:42]take to your grave now Salman El farasi the famous companion of

[13:51]rasulullah the Hadith says he came to rasulullah he told them Allah

[14:02]what is the sign how do I really know that I had

[14:08]taqwa that I had piety because there are certain signs that indicates

[14:15]that you truly are a Pious individual so what is that sign

[14:19]that I know that I am a piety how can I know

[14:23]that I am sure I was a Pious individual the prophet tells

[14:27]him this specific sign there's more than this sign but the prophet

[14:31]focuses on this the last sign in your life the prophet speaks

[14:35]about when we die he said the day in which Allah has

[14:43]written that you die Allah when the angel of death comes to

[14:55]us he asks us to recite the two shahada Allah so the

[15:12]prophet says when you tell that that person say this so even

[15:18]Allah will inspire you to say it the angel will tell you

[15:22]to say it the prophet said if you were able to say

[15:30]these two expressions these two testimonies you will see me and I

[15:36]will see you Allah will be by your side but if you

[15:48]stumbled and stuttered and you couldn't say it you will never see

[15:56]me and I will never see you after that now here there's

[16:00]a couple of points that we have to dissect first of all

[16:04]the prophet is telling us this if you had taqwa in your

[16:10]life that will show the moment you die if you're able to

[16:15]say the shahad detain that means your taqwa was a genuine taqwa

[16:24]Allah will give you the topic to say it so you can't

[16:25]cheat live a terrible life say the shahad detain and then get

[16:29]away with it no no no no you will not be able

[16:33]to say it in those last seconds but then if you did

[16:37]not have piety in your life you will try to say it

[16:41]and you can't say it and I've heard certain stories of individuals

[16:44]that tell me we told this individual while he was on the

[16:50]tavar he was on his deathbed says he just couldn't say it

[16:56]what's keeping him back maybe sometimes it's not always but sometimes it's

[17:00]because of sins your sins will not allow you in that difficult

[17:02]time to say and by the way I know some of you

[17:06]may may think this there are some evil people that said the

[17:07]shahada and died so this is not always a sign it's not

[17:13]always a sign but usually it's an indicator Allah will help you

[17:19]to say the shahad detained and this will serve as a sign

[17:21]that you were a believer so rasulullah says if you help the

[17:26]Sarabi give him will give you your zad for the next trip

[17:29]by allowing you to say the shahad detain and that will prove

[17:35]that you were a muttery a Pious individual and you will take

[17:38]that piety with you to the grave now a hey nama yetuna

[17:48]is the first night when someone dies it's recommended to recite means

[18:11]what loneliness is foreign foreign it will bring relief to the person's

[19:15]loneliness and fear so first night they don't know what to expect

[19:20]they're all alone because after we bury our loved ones we leave

[19:22]them they're all alone but some people they will not need Salah

[19:30]why because as soon as they open their eyes in their grave

[19:33]they see the beautiful face of rasulullah this is what the prophet

[19:39]is saying you will see me and I will see you and

[19:47]not just rasulullah we have Traditions that the believer will be greeted

[19:54]by the holy face of Amir al-muminum [Music] who is foreign foreign

[22:00]foreign will make sure that I have what I need for the

[22:28]for that next trip how beautiful is that what's the problem Salman

[22:34]is broke he has nothing he could barely afford to buy something

[22:39]for him to eat this isn't you know in the beginning when

[22:44]they moved to Medina the Muslims there was poverty so he didn't

[22:49]have anything but Salman says you know what I can't give up

[22:52]I can't let go of this opportunity this is much greater than

[22:55]any Black Friday or Cyber Monday right I know we all stocked

[23:26]went to the houses of the wives of rasulullah each one has

[23:30]a room he says I knock the door of the House of

[23:34]every single one of the wives of rasulullah they all told they

[23:38]either told me we don't have anything or they just didn't comply

[23:40]they didn't give me anything he says I was left in despair

[23:45]who do I go to where do I go as soon as

[23:50]I was about to lose hope and this brothers and sisters is

[23:54]a message to all of us when you lose hope he says

[23:58]I remembered there is a door there is a house in Medina

[24:03]that never ever disappoints that whoever goes to they will always be

[24:10]generous with them that is the house the house of father and

[24:17]Ali the house that Allah mentioned in the Quran Allah praised in

[24:23]the Quran Allah surely wants to purify you oh oh the people

[24:37]of this house the household of rasulullah and that is so he

[24:42]says I know Fatima will never let me down brothers and sisters

[24:49]know that anytime you're facing a difficulty no matter how many times

[24:53]they tell you no it's impossible you always have a door and

[24:56]that is the door of she is one of the doors to

[25:04]Allah azzawajal go to Fatima recite through Fatima and Allah is I

[25:18]am taking you as my Wasilla I am asking Allah through you

[25:23]ya Fatima Allah May reject me but he will never reject you

[25:27]so please ask Allah to give me my hajja so Salman says

[25:33]I went to the house of Fatima to Zara I knocked the

[25:37]door Fatima answered from behind the door who is it it's me

[25:41]Salman what do you need Salman he says I need some food

[25:46]because your father said whoever gives the salabi food I will receive

[25:50]taqwa can you please give me something brothers and sisters look at

[25:55]what Fatima said ya Salman I wish I had something to give

[26:03]you I myself have nothing to feed my sons Hassan and Hussein

[26:05]for three days the Hadith says for three days my sons Hassan

[26:11]and Hussein have not eaten anything Aslan they're so hungry there are

[26:18]so malnourished malnourished that they have they're fainting what can I give

[26:22]you if I had food I would give it to my children

[26:26]now the Hadith doesn't say this the Hadith but I can assume

[26:31]this is probably the same story of Surat Allah says in the

[26:37]Holy Quran the story of Allah Allah speaks about the story of

[26:46]when Fatima Hassan Hussain Imam Ali were about to have their iftar

[26:50]someone knocks the door the first day who is it that's a

[26:53]poor person he wants food they only had those loaves of bread

[26:57]alhamdulillah brothers and sisters we have to thank Allah so much that

[27:01]we have so much food now we don't know what to do

[27:03]with it and we throw away so much food look at Imam

[27:06]Ali and Fatima they only had one loaf of bread for each

[27:11]one to eat and if that was not there they had nothing

[27:13]there was no refrigerator there was no stocking the first day the

[27:19]machine comes they want to eat but they see this machine this

[27:23]poor individual he's hungry too so they decide to sacrifice and they

[27:30]show one of the greatest acts of altruism one of the greatest

[27:37]acts of Ethan so they give all their food to that machine

[27:40]that they don't even know who he is can you imagine anyone

[27:44]doing that so they're hungry they sleep hungry that same night the

[27:48]second day they're hungry once again they're fasting they want to break

[27:51]their fast the next day who comes right the second day their

[27:58]team comes an orphan he's hungry they give them their food two

[28:02]days they haven't eaten anything they're losing all their energy the third

[28:06]day the essil comes and I think this one number three is

[28:11]the most remarkable what is aseer a Seer is a prisoner of

[28:16]war prisoner of war that probably has just been freed prisoner of

[28:20]war could that person be a Muslim probably not why would a

[28:26]Muslim be imprisoned in Medina so most likely it was a non-muslim

[28:28]the Muslims would had a war would have wars with them or

[28:31]probably with other faiths and then this person was a prisoner of

[28:36]war so he's a non-muslim he comes to the house of Fatima

[28:39]and Fatima and Ali give them their own food to a non-muslim

[28:44]and they starve themselves have you heard of such ether these stories

[28:49]are what we need to tell non-muslims brothers and sisters this is

[28:52]the true Islam Imam Ali means this that they would starve and

[28:58]stay hungry while a non-muslim would eat it's not just with my

[29:04]people some individuals Unfortunately they have this we call it just me

[29:10]and my my Village I don't care about anyone else my Village

[29:17]my country this is wrong unislamic first of all man first of

[29:24]all all Muslims are your brothers and sisters whether from this country

[29:28]or another country second of all even non-muslims brother and sisters yes

[29:32]the Muslim comes first but even non-muslims what's the problem with helping

[29:38]them but at the end of the day you are helping a

[29:42]soul that is in need and Allah brought down an entire verse

[29:47]recording this great Act of altruism [Music] we're doing this only for

[30:04]Allah we don't want any thanks we don't want any recognition we

[30:07]don't want anyone to go on the podium and say donated this

[30:12]much on behalf it's between us and Allah do something between you

[30:16]and Allah privately Allah will make sure people know Allah brought down

[30:21]a verse or else how else would we know you think Imam

[30:23]Ali was walking around telling people three days I gave my food

[30:27]no way um Ali would never speak about what he did in

[30:30]private or Father Allah mentioned that the Holy Quran so this story

[30:36]in Surat al-insan I believe it could be the same story but

[30:39]there's more context given in this Hadith it could also be another

[30:45]story so she tells him Fatima tells Salman for three days we

[30:48]have had no food so what am I going to give you

[30:52]Salman now he says a Fatima rejects me I have no one

[30:56]to go to Fatima cannot reject Salman and she knows that if

[31:00]I tell him no if I can't help him he has no

[31:04]one to go to I have an idea what's your idea she

[31:08]goes she had one dress one dress in her house that's all

[31:15]she had she told them take this dress ya Salman and go

[31:19]to a specific person she gave him the address this person you'll

[31:22]find he has a store he's a Jewish man his name is

[31:51]so Salman is happy he takes the dress he goes to that

[31:59]individual ayusham own he says yes he tells him take this dress

[32:05]this is the dress of Fatima the daughter of the Prophet the

[32:09]prophet of Islam and she has asked me to ask you for

[32:12]some food can you please give me some food for Fatima he

[32:16]says why Fatima wants to eat he says no Fatima yes she's

[32:21]starving her children are starving but she's not even thinking about herself

[32:24]she's thinking about an Arabi about doing that she's never even met

[32:29]this Jewish man is shocked Fatima is hungry she has not eat

[32:37]Hassan and Hussein are not it's not easy brothers and sisters to

[32:39]see your children hungry and you can't do anything about it well

[32:44]it's not easy may Allah never show you that day that your

[32:46]son or daughter comes and tells you tell you I'm gonna faint

[32:49]because of how hungry I am and you can't do anything about

[32:53]it but yeah look at the altruism he tells him Salman tells

[33:03]doesn't know the Hadith says the eyes of this Jewish man were

[33:09]filled with tears he started to break into tears and cry he

[33:15]said subhanallah this is meaning neglecting the Dunya and not being attached

[33:25]to the Dunya this is the true altruism Musa and our scriptures

[33:37]told us that there will be a family that will show this

[33:40]level of altruism that had never been seen before and the Hadith

[33:47]says he took then three kilograms of Wheat and three kilograms of

[33:51]dates which is really nothing for us Pocket Change now but back

[33:54]then look at what a big deal it was you had to

[33:57]go get a mortgage basically it's like getting a mortgage but you're

[34:00]put your uh dress and take three kilograms of this and that

[34:05]so he gives him the Hadith says this Jewish man ended up

[34:12]embracing Islam because of how much he was impacted by this one

[34:16]act of Fatima and this really comes to show you brothers and

[34:19]sisters many times we can impact others without even talking to them

[34:23]if they see us doing virtuous Acts this will affect them they

[34:30]will gravitate to us and that's why brothers and sisters we can

[34:35]all become ambassadors for Islam like Fatima if you do acts of

[34:41]altruism other peoples yet even if they're not Muslims they will not

[34:44]only love you they will love your religion that Imam says be

[34:51]silent inviters propagators meaning through your actions so Salman was so happy

[34:59]Allah [Music] Jose Al Hassan told Salman when he told her take

[35:47]some of the food for Hassan and Hussein at least you know

[35:49]just just give them a date or something Fatima told Salman we

[35:55]can never do that when we make another a vow an oath

[36:00]we have to fulfill it to the last to the lesson to

[36:05]the last peace I vowed this for Allah I can't take anything

[36:08]for me and that's why I go to Surat when Allah says

[37:40]they always stick to their nether they fulfill their oath and their

[37:45]vows so fatal says I can't take anything for me Salman takes

[37:48]the food he goes to them he brings him all this food

[37:53]rasulullah is surprised where did you get all this beautiful food from

[37:55]he tells them from your daughter Fatima Fatima did all this for

[38:03]me gets up he goes to the house of Fatima he stands

[38:06]before the door of Fatima is then [Music] this is your house

[38:38]and I'm your daughter you don't have to knock the door and

[38:43]ask for permission what would the prophet says Allah has ordered me

[38:50]to ask permission to come inside this house rasulullah enters the house

[38:56]of Fatima the Hadith says when he saw the holy face of

[38:59]Fatima he says Hadith says the prophet saw the face of Fatima

[39:10]is so pale because she hasn't eaten anything for so long such

[39:15]that her eyes had fallen back into their sockets when someone is

[39:20]severely dehydrated and malnourished you can tell from their eyes I don't

[39:24]know if we have any you know ER doctors or specific doctors

[39:28]but you know they can tell that your eyes start to fall

[39:32]back into their sockets because of dehydration malnutrition he noticed that in

[39:38]Fatima and we also you know read about this on the day

[39:42]of ashane took his young baby he was so dehydrated that he

[39:48]saw his eyes had fallen into their sockets and once you reach

[39:52]that state to recover you need a you know a few days

[39:56]so if you have a meal even if you're full you still

[39:58]won't recover right away you need a couple of days just so

[40:04]you can often recover back to normal what happened what's going on

[40:09]she says we don't have any food for three days where is

[40:14]Hassan and Hussein he says they're just lying on the floor they

[40:17]don't have energy to walk they don't have energy to do anything

[40:21]rasulullah quickly sits down he takes Imam Hassan he's young he puts

[40:26]him on his right lap Imam Hussain on his left left lap

[40:29]he tells Fatima to come and then Imam Ali enters and he

[40:34]comes and sits next to rasulullah the prophet then raises his hand

[40:38]in Dua and he says [Music] he says Ya Allah my dear

[40:45]master and then he points at those four members of Elizabeth he

[40:53]says this is my family this is Muhammad he asked Allah to

[41:12]purify them now the Hadith doesn't mention it but I believe this

[41:16]is do I have permission to come and join you you know

[41:27]and this is when Allah brought down the verse here so he

[41:39]does this is that area of the house and she went into

[41:48]a room into another area and she started to pray to Allah

[41:55]she prayed to Allah after she prayed she raised her hand and

[41:59]she said this [Music] foreign [Music] are there any people greater than

[42:38]this in the universe and we're all hungry and starving asks you

[42:43]to bring them food from the sky from the heavens you did

[42:47]now she's either referring to the men and Salwa the Quran says

[42:51]about Musa and his people two types of food that Allah brought

[42:55]down to them from heaven and even then they disbelieved they want

[42:59]and they worship the calf or she might referring she might be

[43:02]referring to the time of Isa the verse where Allah says foreign

[43:49]bring us down that meal for we will believe in you we

[43:54]will constantly believe in you those words she made that Dua all

[44:03]of a sudden a miraculous meal came down from Paradise came down

[44:07]from heaven to the house [Music] on anything you imagine food from

[44:18]Paradise he says the smell of that food was so so great

[44:25]that everyone in Medina noticed it because this is from Jannah it's

[44:29]not like the food of the Dunya right so he says that

[44:36]food quickly came down Fatima took it and she placed it in

[44:39]front of rasulullah rasulullah raised his hands and he said alhamdulillah I

[44:48]thank Allah that he gave me a daughter like Maryam because when

[44:53]Maryam used to ask Allah for food Allah would bring her down

[44:56]food from the heavens right the Quran says this she has food

[45:06]where's this food from where did you get this food from seemed

[45:10]like it was very fancy food very good food this is from

[45:18]Allah azzawajin same thing and Allah azzawajal brings down food upon Fatima

[45:24]from the heavens and finally after three days of Agony suffering what

[45:30]type of a beautiful meal a meal from Paradise that they all

[45:37]could have together gave everything brothers and sisters for Allah she would

[45:43]think about everyone than herself that's why the famous Hadith he says

[45:48]I saw my mother doing Dua for everyone before Fajr except herself

[45:56]I asked her ummah rights for everyone except for yourself think about

[46:06]your neighbors before yourself she would always think about others she was

[46:12]the most selfless person you can imagine whether you're in Muslim non-muslim

[46:18]whether you're a Believer or non-believer she gave everything she had for

[46:22]Allah and she ultimately gave her life for Allah why did Fatima

[46:25]die at such a young age 18.

[46:28]because she was martyr defending Imam Ali alaihissala she gave everything she
