[0:28]Al Ahmed amjad abim muhammadd alhamdulillah for for the first salawat is

[2:37]in the honor of the second is in the honor of the

[3:01]third in the honor of the IM of our time Imam Al

[3:08]IM [Music] Al I greet you all with the Islamic greeting Isa

[3:26]bin maram Jesus the son of Mary one of the most important

[3:33]figures in Islam one of the most important prophets and Messengers throughout

[3:37]history there has been much dispute about Jesus Son of Mary who

[3:44]he is what is his true status did he actually say the

[3:50]things they are saying he said who is he who is his

[3:52]mother what is the real story behind Jesus Son of Mary today's

[3:58]lecture is not going to be about the biography of Jesus today's

[4:04]lecture is an introduction on how to get to the real story

[4:12]of Jesus and the real the correct path to understanding did he

[4:17]truly say certain words did he truly do certain things that is

[4:22]said now without a shadow of a doubt all Muslims we agree

[4:28]that Jesus Son of Mary Isa been maram is not the Son

[4:35]of God we all agree that he is not part of the

[4:37]Trinity he is a messenger of Allah a prophet and he's a

[4:41]slave of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala there is no doubt about that

[4:45]we all agree on that but there is a discussion on the

[4:50]previous prophets not Justa there is a discussion on where do we

[4:59]get the story regarding certain prophets when we look at the Islamic

[5:04]literature the Islamic Hadith Corpus we see that there is major stories

[5:11]about them we're getting the Shar of the previous prophets we are

[5:15]getting the F of the previous prophets we they are talking to

[5:20]us about the biography of the previous prophets they said this they

[5:24]done this so there is a discussion where do we take our

[5:29]understanding of the biography of of the previous prophets and in our

[5:35]case Jesus Son of Mary we as sh where do we take

[5:40]it from of course we all know the answer it's from aliam

[5:51]so the lecture will be in three points inshallah point one why

[5:58]is it important to learn about the the previous prophets about their

[6:01]biographies about their Shar about their sayings actions from it's a vital

[6:07]question no two how can the imams of B narrate directly from

[6:17]the previous prophets or in our case Jesus Son of Mary I

[6:21]mean Imam sad wasn't living in the time of Jesus Son of

[6:27]Mary and for sure he wasn't living in the time of mam

[6:29]or or D Oran how is it that they are narrating how

[6:36]how they say in this stuff the third point and with the

[6:42]third point we'll conclude inshallah which is we will narrate some of

[6:50]the narrations of that has reached us through the IMs ofam or

[6:55]in some cases um the words that have been attributed to our

[7:01]imams regarding muham muham so why is it important that we learn

[7:21]about the previous prophets from there is a discussion that Ur that

[7:29]occurred within the scholars of Hadith this discussion is regarding the narrations

[7:40]that reached us regarding the previous holy books the previous prophets and

[7:51]they discuss how did they reach us and there's a bit of

[7:56]a discussion there there is a good book um inshallah it's called

[7:59]introduction to Hadith you can find it in IAS it's a brilliant

[8:04]book I think it's probably the best book you can get as

[8:09]a beginner I think it's better than all of the other um

[8:13]beginners books regarding Hadith and just as a side point and I

[8:16]think it's crucial that I mention it is of the utmost importance

[8:21]that we the Shia of B know our tath know our Hadith

[8:28]books we have to question ourselves how much do we love if

[8:34]we don't even know the four main books of Hadith of the

[8:37]sh how is it some of us can't even mention one authentic

[8:40]narration going back to or even how how is it that we

[8:52]are in a position now as a community we can't we don't

[8:55]even know how to navigate through the books of Hadith and believe

[9:00]me my brothers and sisters there's nothing to be scared about when

[9:04]you open up a book of Hadith you don't have to be

[9:07]you know the student of say nor do you have to be

[9:12]the student of sayani to be able to book open the books

[9:14]of Hadith it's as simple as opening it up reading investigating asking

[9:20]questions but being familiar with the words of I'll tell you a

[9:27]bit of a personal story before we read from the book in

[9:30]all it's a bit of a personal story um alhamdulillah Allah subhana

[9:37]has blessed me with three girls and uh every night I put

[9:40]them to sleep and I do this thing where I read them

[9:44]stories of the prophets or IMS and then after the story I

[9:51]would um tell them the benefits of the story so they learned

[9:53]that it's not just a story I'm telling you to you know

[9:57]entertain you but it's rather we're saying these stories so that we

[10:02]learn from these stories and I remember saying to them I said

[10:05]you know the room next door my library they say yeah I

[10:09]said to them can you do you know all them books they

[10:13]said yeah what about them I said to them these books contain

[10:16]the words of the imams and the previous prophets they were in

[10:21]awe really I'm like yeah and the imams these words of the

[10:27]imams they're from you know a thousand years ago why telling you

[10:30]this of course you know my girls are young and uh they're

[10:38]upon their F the innate um how do want to say to

[10:40]you you know they're simple children right but they're in awe we

[10:45]should be in awe allahar I am reading the words of he's

[10:51]talking to me directly how beautiful is that but why have we

[10:58]not taken the steps to do that this book will help you

[11:00]so when you're reading a book and then you're seeing narrator from

[11:05]Muhammad B and Ahmed Muhammad IM okay who are these people this

[11:18]book will tell you anyway to get back to the point this

[11:19]is just a bit of a side point inshallah so that we

[11:25]can all benefit he has a chapter where he talks about uh

[11:31]the so the fabricated traditions this is crucial because some of us

[11:38]um and I've heard maybe some speakers they talk about especially the

[11:42]Shia Hadi Corpus as if it's just everything is accepted everything is

[11:47]authentic no that's why there is the science of Hadith and that's

[11:53]why we investigate books the manuscripts of the books the chains of

[11:57]the books the words of the imams and and everything like that

[12:00]to see if it goes through it goes through like how I

[12:04]want to say to examination period and then you could say authentic

[12:08]not authentic accepted not accepted so here he's speaking about the fabricated

[12:13]he goes the second point he talks about the motives the motives

[12:21]for fabrication he says one political how many did Ben benu umaya

[12:27]narrate just for political reasons or the Abbasid um Empire or Abbasid

[12:33]caliphate how much did they narrate lies upon lies against against for

[12:42]their political agenda he says religious anti-islamic this is the one we

[15:51]this one of the main Scholars to sit in the Masid of

[15:59]and start narrating stories and that's why when you go to the

[16:10]books of you would see that narrations so the narrations that talk

[16:14]about so that Allah has body parts they come from people like

[16:24]him Allah has a foot Allah has a hand Allah has a

[16:31]face Allah has two eyes so what's left it's a whole body

[16:34]Allah has a location and then he continues to say he was

[16:40]of the chief Scholars of the Jews verse especially in legends of

[16:47]past people especially those related to benu is the Jews infiltrated in

[16:53]order to fulfill their goal of exploiting the ver uh the very

[16:57]ideology of Muslims and this is where we are getting the narrations

[17:00]where you know you see certain narrations where it's like um degrading

[17:06]the prophets of Allah now this is not to say this is

[17:11]not to say that some of these reports didn't enter our Hadith

[17:15]Corpus without someone realizing or without a companion of the Imam realizing

[17:21]but we will see the filtering stages as I continue inshallah regarding

[17:26]the this matter so why is it important that we go back

[17:32]to bit we will continue inshallah by the end of this point

[17:37]we we'll have a full understanding as to why we have to

[17:43]go back to so the the student of i t i tamya

[17:48]being the head of the salafi school of thought his name is

[17:53]IB he has a book called muh Muhammad he has a book

[18:05]called um he mentions of volume two page 176 now it's a

[18:12]book on History um it's a good book no doubt we don't

[18:18]accept everything in there but it's a good book of History he

[18:20]says the reports about the children of Israel are numerous in the

[18:24]Quran and the prophetic Traditions if they were to attempt to if

[18:32]they if they attempt to um take all of them it would

[18:39]make this book excessively long that's how much there is from the

[18:43]ISAT he says it would make this book excessively long however we

[18:50]have mentioned what im Abu abdah alkari included in his book which

[18:55]is sufficient as a reminder and a represent representative example for this

[19:01]topic and Allah knows best as for the is found in the

[19:06]writings of many mu so those that do commentary of the Quran

[19:09]and historians they are extremely abundant some of them are true and

[19:19]align with what have been revealed but much of it indeed the

[19:22]majority is fabricated or false originating from the Heretics and misguided individuals

[19:28]these reports can be classified into three categories reports that are true

[19:34]because they agree with what Allah has conveyed in his book and

[19:36]from what the messenger of Allah sallallah alai Al has reported to

[19:41]reports that are clearly false because they contradict the book of Allah

[19:48]and the Sunnah of his messenger reports that are the third one

[19:52]reports that are ambiguous where their truth or falsehood is uncertain they

[19:59]are the ones we have been commanded to remain neutral about we

[20:04]neither confirm nor deny them as established in the authentic narration if

[20:09]people of the book narrate something to you then neither believe nor

[20:13]disbelieve them and say we believe in what has been revealed to

[20:18]us and what has been revealed to you and then this is

[20:21]the crucial point now it is permissible to narrate these reports in

[20:26]light of the earlier Hadith narrate from the children of Israel without

[20:34]objection so he says there's a narration and this is the narration

[20:42]that opened the door for these fabricated reports that degrade the prophets

[20:49]of Allah the previous prophets of Allah and give us absolute destruction

[20:55]to the Hadith Corpus the Hadith Corpus of the Muslims in general

[21:02]not just that these ISAT these fabricated reports have affected the F

[21:10]of the Muslims the culture of the Muslims the history of the

[21:14]Muslims and that's why it's important that we go back to the

[21:20]correct Source you see one of the major roles and major and

[21:26]most important objectives of the imams is to protect the Quran and

[21:31]Sunnah that was one of their PR prime prime um objectives to

[21:36]achieve and we'll see this in the following narrations now you know

[21:41]sometimes a lot of young brothers are always involved in Sunni Shia

[21:50]pmics you know Speakers Corner and so on and debating online and

[21:54]what usually happens is and I've seen this quite a lot is

[22:00]the Young Shia brother would narrate a Hadith from the books ofah

[22:02]and they start laughing at him they're like oh but it's found

[22:06]in your books what are you talking about so you remember I

[22:10]said the door that was opened by this specific narration that they

[22:14]narrate from which is narrate from the children of Israel without objection

[22:21]there's a report found in our books in a book called alashi

[22:27]he narrates with the reliable chain when I say reliable that means

[22:33]the chain of narrators all of them are trustworthy or they are

[22:37]accepted by the scholars so in this reliable report Al kashat with

[22:44]his chain from zura who says to Abu so IM narrates so

[22:51]look at this imak is saying now narrate from the children of

[22:55]Israel without any objection oh what have we done here I thought

[23:01]a second ago it's a problem now it's the Imam is saying

[23:05]it what do we do so he says um so zurara said

[23:14]I said may I be your Ransom by God there are in

[23:16]the traditions of the Shia things more astonishing than theirs you know

[23:24]now we Z is one of the biggest one of the most

[23:32]important Companions of to the extent the IM say if it wasn't

[23:34]for the likes of Z the knowledge of the prophets would have

[23:41]you know gone perished so he said what is it oh zurara

[23:45]the imams tells him then something was taken from my heart so

[23:50]zurara is saying then something was taken from my heart I remained

[23:53]silent for a moment unable to recall anything I intend to mention

[23:59]so he just kind of maybe got frustrated didn't know what to

[24:05]say the Imam says perhaps you mean the he said yes so

[24:13]Z says yes he said believe in it for it is true

[24:18]but hold on if we look at the whole narration let's all

[24:22]of us inshallah think together the Imam didn't the Imam is telling

[24:28]him arate from the children of Israel without any objection so he

[24:32]didn't negate it the Imam is telling him to do that but

[24:37]then the Imam is saying and sorry zura says but there are

[24:41]traditions of the Shia that is more astonishing than theirs you know

[24:48]why he said that zura used to be from in the time

[24:55]of Imam albak in his when he was younger he was you

[25:00]know he's he's become a Shia but you know it takes a

[25:02]bit of time you're still learning so that's why he says what

[25:08]he says and then he's and then he's heard the narrations about

[25:11]the and he found it weird and that's why sometimes when we're

[25:15]talking to and you're telling about you're telling about and the reason

[25:21]why I'm saying by the way there is another scholar by the

[25:26]name of Safar he's from the companions of Imam alari he has

[25:29]a book called he narrates the same narration with a different chain

[25:35]so that in the chain of narrators there someone different he says

[25:39]rather than the Imam said perhaps you mean the occultation he says

[25:42]the Imam says perhaps you mean nevertheless both um beliefs are somewhat

[25:50]difficult at the early stages for someone that's doesn't understand T properly

[25:55]will be to be difficult to grasp and that's why when you

[26:02]see some people from and that's telling you you know does that

[26:06]what do you mean Imam living for this long occultation why but

[26:10]once you give him the absolute breakdown um of it will be

[26:49]been authored by one of our classical Scholars she saduk and the

[26:52]grading of the report will be good Jed that means by the

[26:57]stand of some Scholars they would accept the report but it's a

[27:02]very important report so he says the narrator says I said to

[27:07]Abu ABD so Imam Assad may I be may I be your

[27:12]Ransom there is a narration that the people transmit saying that the

[27:16]messenger of Allah saying that the messenger of Allah said narrate from

[27:31]the children of Israel without any objection so he's asking him the

[27:39]people usually means it means people that are non sh they're saying

[27:43]that the prophet said this is it true see this is why

[27:46]I was saying that the imams one of their main duties is

[27:52]to protect the Quran andah sometimes a companion will come and tell

[27:57]the Imam they're saying said this is it true he'll tell them

[28:04]La they lied against or yes but they they didn't understand it

[28:08]correctly or yes this is how it said but they they missed

[28:10]out the final part of the Hadith this is important this is

[28:15]teaching us that we have to go back to Ali Muhammad we

[28:20]have to go back to the books of Hadith we have to

[28:22]go back to the companions of the imams that narrated to us

[28:28]the authentic Sunnah of so he says is this correct he said

[28:36]yes IM tells him yes so we're still in a bit of

[28:41]a problem now we need to get things moving I ask so

[28:45]can we narrate from the children of Israel what we have heard

[28:48]without any blame on us he replied Imad have you not heard

[28:56]what he also said it is enough falsehood for a person to

[29:02]narrate everything they hear so not when you sit there and you

[29:08]know someone says you know what's that famous Hadith that everyone puts

[29:14]on the social media be like a flower and you know IM

[29:17]if you crush it and then everyone's narrating because it feels good

[29:20]you know nowadays I always you know sometimes make a joke um

[29:25]there's a new way of authenticating Hadith which is if it feels

[29:29]good and that's incorrect it's not about if it feels good it's

[29:35]about there's a science there's principles within the science that we have

[29:41]to acknowledge so he says so now the Imam is telling us

[29:43]that there is they've narrated only one part there's more to the

[29:48]narration of I said so how is that so what do I

[29:53]you know the narrator is saying what do I say the companion

[29:55]saying what what do I like explain first further he said what

[30:01]is mentioned in the book so the Quran as having occurred among

[30:05]the children of Israel you may narrate that it will also occur

[30:12]in the community you may you may narrate that it will also

[30:16]occur in the community and there is no objection in doing so

[30:21]so when said narrate from the children of Israel without any objection

[30:28]it means narrat um from the children of Israel with that which

[30:33]is found in the Quran not just Open Door sitting in Medina

[30:41]ya let's throw it all in there this mosa this you should

[30:46]see some of the N I can't I I can't even mention

[30:49]it on the pulpit I can't mention it here on the um

[30:53]sitting in front of you they're that disturbing that disgusting wah so

[31:00]what we see here is is that sometimes and I'm trying to

[31:05]give you a better understanding on how to put things together sometimes

[31:09]you find one Hadith but it's not just about that one Hadith

[31:12]we have to look at things in a holistic way so we

[31:15]have to bring everything together to be able to come to a

[31:17]conclusion same thing with the Quran sometimes the MU would look at

[31:24]okay the word here was used like this here it was used

[31:25]like this and then you have to put everything together to be

[31:29]able to understand so just to finalize this the first point that

[31:35]we are discussing which is I'm going to narrate to you the

[31:45]words of in his volume two page 160 he says explanation the

[31:50]prophet sallai informed us that everything that happened among the children of

[31:55]Israel will occur in this community this is true we accept that

[31:58]and that's what was meant in the narration I just narrated when

[32:01]the Imam said that whatever happens what happened in the community of

[32:08]Ben Ben will also happen here the way that we will betray

[32:11]the the Imam of our time and so on and so on

[32:15]he says this indicates that it is not appropriate to transmit information

[32:20]that cannot be trusted so be careful what we are narrating when

[32:25]it comes to the prophets of Allah and the moms very important

[32:30]so to conclude on the first point or the first question we

[32:36]must be able to go back to because it is of it

[32:44]is the most important matter that we go back to everything regarding

[32:48]Dean to the everything needs to be a reflection of the words

[32:53]of that is the most important thing and on that point I

[33:01]lot in our community um we see that of course we're living

[33:08]in this country yesterday is considered Christmas uh a day of celebration

[33:13]for um our Christian brothers and sisters and you know we're seeing

[33:19]a lot of Muslims with mosalah does it every year you know

[33:23]picture in front of the Christmas tree with um presents and the

[33:27]hav turkey and I don't know y share puddings and everything like

[33:32]that and we're seeing and here I'm talking especially for the Shia

[33:39]there's a Christmas tree they're celebrating yeah but Jesus was born on

[33:43]this day even if we're going to accept that why do we

[33:48]need to have a Christmas tree to celebrate it why do we

[33:53]do what they're doing that's one two Allah subhana wa taala in

[33:56]the Quran he talks about that this call of the Christians that

[34:06]Jesus is the son of Allah is so great and so damaging

[34:15]to the dean so damaging to the the correct of Allah the

[34:22]of Allah they are celebrating the birth of the Son of God

[34:26]it's not for us to sit there and celebrate with Christmas trees

[34:31]and so on I don't want to get into the whole issue

[34:34]the culture of is right there in front of us it's clear

[34:39]I'm not here to tell you it's Haram or it's Mak or

[34:45]anything but what is it about us that we've got all of

[34:50]the births of the imams we've also added the birth of Z

[34:55]AL I think maybe Ali and we still want Christmas what is

[34:59]it not enough why do we need what is the need for

[35:04]us to sit there celebrate something that is based upon kufur kuur

[35:09]Allah does not have a son we do not celebrate the birth

[35:14]of the Son of God Allah doesn't have a son this is

[35:21]from the utmost sh the the worst form of sh that we

[35:23]can commit not by celebrating by the belief I'm talking about my

[35:31]brother brothers and sisters we have to hold on to they say

[35:34]to him you know why do you not eat this why do

[35:39]you not do this he goes cuz I didn't see do it

[35:43]okay but it's not Haram no I follow to that extent you

[35:50]know sometimes I have a cup to to my left and I

[35:54]start drinking with my left hand again I'm not telling you it's

[35:56]Haram I'm not telling you it's m I'm not getting into that

[35:59]but we know always advised us to use our right hand so

[36:05]I'm going to use my right hand muham Muhammad hold on to

[36:14]these are the gems of the world this is the diamonds that

[36:20]we have follow every footstep that they do you know in some

[36:23]Dua they'll tell you lift up your finger cross your legs like

[36:28]this when you eat do this when you stand do this when

[36:31]you I want to do it I want to follow and everything

[36:36]that he does does that make me backward minded no problem I'm

[36:41]backward minded I want to follow in every shape of form so

[36:44]inshallah my brothers and sisters this Christmas tree stuff we have to

[36:51]stop W we've got too manys we have too many celebrations for

[36:56]us to need to also add Christmas somehow we've just innovated it

[37:01]into the religion it's unacceptable so inshallah let us be the followers

[37:06]of Ali Muhammad if Ali Muhammad celebrated I'll celebrate Christmas if Ali

[37:12]Muhammad didn't celebrate Christmas I don't want to celebrate Christmas simple as

[37:17]that we'll go to the second question how can the imams of

[37:21]narrate directly from the previous prophets especially Prophet Isa it's a good

[37:31]question as in Imad is in the second century after hij was

[37:40]about 700 years before if not more how's he narrating directly from

[37:46]him you see there is a by the way some of the

[37:51]scholars of Hadith just as a small fa that we'll add some

[37:56]of the scholars of Hadith from the school ofah they actually they

[38:02]they have a certain statement and I'm and I'm not um narrating

[38:06]word for word I'm paraphrasing where they basically say is a bit

[38:13]weird why what's what's wrong he the grandson ofas what's what's wrong

[38:20]he's one of the scholars of Medina why what's we he not

[38:23]raised directly from he never lived in the time of so what

[38:27]would do we say to them that's because you took nothing from

[38:33]Ali Muhammad if you knew you would never say these words that's

[38:40]because the likes of alassan Hussein had the books of so one

[39:03]of the books that reached them we all know also know theab

[39:08]of Ali which is where Imam Ali wrote down everything he heard

[39:12]from so he's told us before Imad my narration is the narration

[39:19]of my father and the narration of my father is the narration

[39:21]of his father and the narration of his father is the narration

[39:23]of my grandfather alib AB Talib and the narration of my father

[39:29]Al is the narration of and the narration of is the narration

[39:33]of J and the narration of is the narration of Allah muham

[39:45]muhamad so he doesn't need to day and night tell you yes

[39:52]I am narrating from my father Muhammad Ali Al and he narrated

[39:56]from his father and so on he's already given us the the

[40:03]principle that's one but how they narrating from these you know I'm

[40:13]sure you've seen mam said thisam said this IM Imad how do

[40:22]you know why are you so confident that you're saying it Jesus

[40:26]said this especially that we agree that um majority of the Bible

[40:31]has been fabricated has been changed this is how K in his

[40:38]book alfi he narrates with a reliable chain alfi which is the

[40:45]book of is our most authentic our most important book of Hadith

[40:50]if you don't have it in your house if you have never

[40:56]read alfi and you are in your early 20s early 30s 40s

[40:58]50s and 60s there is a problem it's Haram Upon Us W

[41:06]that we don't know these books of Hadith wah every day our

[41:09]imams have taught us to read Quran but also told they also

[41:16]told us to read our our Hadith learn our Hadith in a

[41:22]narration Imam has attributed to Imad he says teach your children Hadith

[41:27]how beautiful is it if your child can say to you how

[41:34]beautiful is that this is what we want so in this narration

[41:41]alen narrates with his reliable chain from Imam sad with me is

[41:48]the white jaff the narrator said what is in it he replied

[41:58]the Psalms of David the tat of MSA the injil of Isa

[42:04]the Scrolls of ibraim the lawful unlawful matters and the mus of

[42:10]fa he continues but I'm not going to continue with the narration

[42:14]because they start to discuss other books so what does that mean

[42:21]the IMs of inherited theab of Ali that we spoke about the

[42:33]books of the previous prophets and in our case that we're talking

[42:40]about today the Bible did you know as a if we wanted

[42:50]to reconstruct the Bible the authentic Bible that came down to Jesus

[42:57]Son of Mary We Could reconstruct a major part of it through

[43:04]the of and mean it if we wanted to if someone was

[43:29]for question two we have reports also in other books of Hadith

[43:33]for example one narration that comes to mind is IM Ali given

[43:36]a and he says he says I will I will give you

[43:44]a law based to the people of the inil based upon the

[43:48]in so they had the imams of had the books of the

[43:56]previous prophets these books did not reach us but reach them so

[44:03]this gives us another important reasoning as to why we should go

[44:10]back to the and by the way one of the ways that

[44:13]the imams used to know the Imam after so let's say Imam

[44:21]died and there was IM or or jaad they would no this

[44:29]is the true Imam because you know after Imad you had this

[44:32]person come up this son say I'm an IM this person said

[44:36]I'm an IM how do you know one of the ways is

[44:40]that he was able to show them the weapons of and these

[44:41]books this was a proof that they are the imams of um

[44:48]The divinely Chosen imams of Allah and that's why it's important my

[44:51]brothers and sisters when Imam returns and he comes how are you

[45:00]going to be able to identify that he's the Imam you haven't

[45:03]read any books of Hadith we haven't done our um investigating of

[45:10]the tath of one of the ways say if you are who

[45:19]you are show me the mus of show me theab of Ali

[45:21]show me the in of is so these things are important so

[45:30]this is how and to answer the question when the IM says

[45:34]or this is how we know Muhammad Muhammad so a friend of

[45:47]mine he's actually authored the book um it's called the Good Shepherd

[45:52]B Muhammad um amazing brother may Allah bless him he's written a

[45:56]few books what he's done in this he's gathered all of the

[46:00]reports in the Islamic Hadith Corpus and gathered it in this book

[46:08]and then at times he'll commentate and say for example a similar

[46:12]verse in the Bible is found here or um the Bible says

[46:17]this but this is more correct because said this in another Hadith

[46:20]so he gives you comment it's a very good book I really

[46:23]recommend everyone to go and buy it um it's a good book

[46:28]there's a it's quite there's a quite a lot in there and

[46:32]uh yeah you can get it from Amazon I think it's 11

[46:34]12 it's not expensive really good book I recommend it honestly so

[46:38]we're going to read a few Hadith from here inshallah and what

[46:43]we'll do is we'll take some benefits from the Hadith so there's

[46:49]a report here by the way he narrates quite a lot in

[46:53]here so I only chose a few the report is from attributed

[47:00]to Imad and I say it's attributed because the book that it's

[47:03]found in is a classical book but there's a bit of a

[47:05]discussion on who the author is the book is called it's usually

[47:11]attributed to one of our classical Scholars called like I said if

[47:17]we was to put aside the discussion about how the book reached

[47:20]us the chain in the book to Imad will be graded as

[47:27]reliable by the standard certain Scholars he says so Imad narrates from

[47:32]Jesus Son of Mary peace be upon him he said I have

[47:39]treated the ill and cured them by God's permission I have healed

[47:45]the born blind and the lepers by God's permission I have treated

[47:49]the dead and resurrected them by God's permission yet when I treat

[47:56]when I treated the fool I could not Rectify him I'm sure

[48:03]we've all experienced in life you know you sit down with someone

[48:06]doesn't have to be a religious discussion maybe a family dispute or

[48:10]something you're giv them something very simple this is your wife be

[48:19]good to her no but she put too much salt in the

[48:23]foodi no problem just tell her to put l salt no no

[48:27]no no she always does it okay you cook what's the problem

[48:35]so sometimes you can't even get through to them SOA the spirit

[48:41]of Allah he couldn't heal the fool the Jah couldn't heal him

[48:48]he says it was said oh spirit of God so one of

[48:50]his companions says what is a fool look to look at the

[48:55]reply He Who is In Awe by his opinion and his own

[49:02]self he thinks that His blessings are his so it's always self-centered

[49:12]you know now in the west this liberalism and and so on

[49:15]it's all about me but does it benefit me it's it's all

[49:20]about me me me me me okay I'm not saying look after

[49:24]yourself be happy with yourself no problem this me me me always

[49:31]proud of themselves he says he thinks that His blessings are his

[49:36]so everything is about him rather than test rather than a test

[49:43]against him it's all about how you perceive things we all have

[49:47]a a certain programming we perceive things in a certain way you

[49:52]know for example if we have a child and he's trying to

[50:29]generation you know when there is a lot of men don't take

[50:34]responsibility women don't take responsibility and you know everyone is trying to

[50:41]just be no but it's all self-centered there's no compromise there is

[50:47]no trying to have a relationship in in in a household based

[50:51]upon love tawa Mercy compassion respect it's all about no one wants

[51:00]to take responsibility no we have to take responsibility we have to

[51:04]be be people that take account of everything that we do there's

[51:10]a report attributed to IM he says he says our sh are

[51:19]those and I'm paraphrasing here our sh are those that before they

[51:23]go to sleep they think about their actions before they do so

[51:28]take responsibility of what you do take responsibility of how you speak

[51:33]take responsibility on how you look take responsibility how you walk and

[51:39]where you're walking to take responsibility so then he says that is

[51:46]the fool in whom there is no hope for treatment don't ever

[51:52]think these type of people there's any hope once they fit this

[51:58]Cate there is no hope do not chase people like that you

[52:04]know so you know I've I've been involved in a lot of

[52:06]domestic cases let it be the man or the woman it could

[52:11]be both both sides and um you know sometimes the man is

[52:18]abusing his wife she's with him for 10 years and she's just

[52:21]getting abused now you need to know my sister if you're getting

[52:23]abused he is not good for you leave him he is not

[52:28]good for you don't think he's going to change it's been 10

[52:32]years and he's still abusing you take the action be responsible and

[52:36]think what's best for you and your children and likewise if it's

[52:41]the other way around if the wife is abusing the husband these

[52:44]things are very important and remember that a household the foundations of

[52:52]every Community is the household and we want a healthy purified household

[52:56]that's B B upon the Quran and the Sunnah in another Hadith

[53:04]in another Hadith that is found in the book um of alfi

[53:12]now the the chain of narration is weak but the content of

[53:20]the Hadith is correct because it's found in other authentic reports Imad

[53:24]narrates from Jesus Son of Mary peace be upon him as well

[53:33]as our prophet and his family woe to bad Scholars how the

[53:36]fire will engulf them one of the worst things that can happen

[53:43]to a community is bad Scholars Scholars for the dollars Scholars that

[53:51]have no tawa Scholars that take you away from loving Allah take

[53:58]you away from having piety take you away from the correct understanding

[54:04]of the Quran andah Muhammad Muhammad so so it's very important that

[54:18]we are able to identify the bad schol and sometimes you know

[54:21]what's worse and I'll add I'll make this a point actually because

[54:23]I wanted to say it's good that I remembered an example is

[54:28]when someone is not a scholar but we deal with them as

[54:34]a scholar an example of this is a good example as it

[54:37]happened um you know an hour ago uh brother Azad he was

[54:42]like Hass I'm not a she I'm not a scholar I'm not

[54:44]and by the way this is not a lot of times when

[54:49]I say this people so it's not it's not to say um

[54:54]you know me trying to be humble it's it's a reality we

[54:59]have to give the scholars their real status scholar is a scholar

[55:03]we we we have if we think someone like me is a

[55:08]scholar then I don't know I don't know what we're going to

[55:13]think of you know the actual Scholars some of will probably if

[55:15]Hass is a scholar this person might be the next IM I

[55:21]don't knowah so we have to make sure that we know who

[55:25]the scholar is another report and we will we will conclude with

[55:29]another report just after this and this one I think it will

[55:32]be a nice one inshallah so this narration is narrated in uh

[55:40]we have translated this book b Muhammad actually translated it's found there's

[55:48]a app that me and a few Brothers um have done I'll

[55:51]promote it so it's a good time to promote it's called app

[55:57]it has all of the not all but majority or many of

[56:02]the books of Hadith it also has for ali um grading so

[56:07]of weak not weak sah notah and so on brilliant um app

[56:14]I think will be very helpful we we are also adding a

[56:19]few other things we will inshallah be adding some AI so you

[56:22]can ask the AI we will obviously teach the AI all of

[56:26]the stuff and the AI should be able to answer and so

[56:27]on a lot of new updates will happen inshallah soon so I

[56:32]really recommend it so yeah brother B also translated this book as

[56:36]you can find it there so it's narrated from the messenger of

[56:41]Allah he said Jesus peace upon Him passed by a grave whose

[56:45]occupant was being punished so he walked past a grave and the

[56:51]person in the grave was getting punished then he passed by it

[56:54]again the following year and he was not being punished so he

[57:01]said oh Lord I passed by this grave last year and his

[57:03]occupant was being punished then I passed by it this year and

[57:09]I found that he was not being punished by the way this

[57:12]is a bit of a theological point to make this means in

[57:18]the grave there is and ourth is very clear about it um

[57:22]aad is probably going to be a bit upset but some of

[57:28]the philosophers they basically um negate that opinion but in theath of

[57:33]it's a fact that you will be punished in the grave so

[57:38]he says then I passed by this year and I found that

[57:40]he was not being punished so Allah revealed to him oh spirit

[57:47]of God although look at the beauty of it like he Allah

[57:50]didn't say to him Jesus or Jesus son made oh spirit of

[57:57]God look at the other of isaam he says he was a

[57:59]righteous he he has a righteous son who rectified a path and

[58:07]sheltered an orphan so he was forgiven due to what his son

[58:10]had done there is a culture in our community when someone dies

[58:20]the family spends thousands upon thousands doing you know every year a

[58:27]gathering food every year or you know the 40 days after his

[58:34]death and so on and and they're spending money and money food

[58:36]feeding by the way feeding people good everything like that but I

[58:42]I'm sure Mo most of us are not millionaires you want to

[58:47]benefit the person in the grave give a open up a well

[58:54]in Africa um give charity I don't know build houses in Gaza

[58:59]in lebnan or in Iraq or Afghanistan or whatever poor country what

[59:05]is this thing that we're doing where it's you know it's just

[59:10]it's it's it's as if it's like oh we're just part of

[59:12]the culture and you're spending about ,000 to feed a few hundred

[59:17]people next year same thing no no put put that money towards

[59:19]something that will actually benefit the person in the grave and look

[59:25]at the beauty of having a a son or a daughter that

[59:33]are believers that when you die this is the stuff they will

[59:36]do for you but we have to raise them in a way

[59:40]that when I die he will benefit me he will benefit the

[59:42]umah he will benefit the every human every every Community a good

[59:50]person it's become difficult to raise in this country to raise children

[59:54]W you know I have to be constantly tiptoeing around oh what's

[60:00]my daughter watching you just don't know anymore yeah I have to

[60:04]check her homework when she gets into the car when I pick

[60:07]her up H Baba what did you learn it's it's become difficult

[60:14]W very difficult so Raise Your Children Well raise them upon the

[60:20]Quran and Sunnah it's not backward minded I know Baba why you

[60:23]drinking with your left drink with your right why cuz did it

[60:27]the other day my daughter left some food on the plate I

[60:32]hungry I said but it's only it's two bites she said yeah

[60:36]but I'm not hungry I said okay I said you know the

[60:37]videos where you cry when you see the videos of the children

[60:42]in Gaz she goes yeah I said they can't eat why are

[60:46]you doing that she said okay Baba I saidas Allah never left

[60:49]his plate eat finish it off that's how we need to raise

[60:54]our children and I will conclude with the last narration I thought

[60:57]it was nice one it's a um it's a report so what

[61:04]happened was I was speaking to my teacher and I said yeah

[61:07]you know giving a lecture um this week so what's it about

[61:14]said you know Jesus Son of Mary introduction on the importance of

[61:16]going back to B to learn about isaam and to narrate a

[61:22]few Hadith that is found in our books regarding Isa and to

[61:24]take some benefits oh beautiful so why don't you end on this

[61:29]narration I said oh send it to me that's why it's good

[61:31]important to keep good Brothers around you people of knowledge people that

[61:34]care about people that care about the Quran and Sunnah people that

[61:39]care about what Imam Ali says so he he go he sent

[61:51]it's narrated by Nas Nas is a Sunni scholar this Hadith is

[61:57]found with slightly different wording in our books and their books with

[62:01]many different chains very important Hadith so he he narrates with his

[62:08]chain on the authority of Ali where he says may Allah be

[62:12]pleased with himam who said oh Ali you are like Jesus the

[62:18]Jews hated him so much that they slandered his mother and the

[62:24]Christians loved him so much that they ele ated him to a

[62:30]status that he was not that was not his now look at

[62:36]the breakdown I'm going to repeat it again I want everyone to

[62:40]think okay the prophet said oh Al you are like Jesus the

[62:46]Jews hated him so much that they slandered his mother and the

[62:51]Christians loved him so much that they elevated him to a status

[62:54]that was not his so he goes my teacher just like is

[63:04]you have three groups a the group of extremists the alawis Bashi

[63:10]the Sufi cult or even who say Ali is God or part

[63:18]of a trinity likewise you have Christians who say Jesus is God

[63:23]and part of a trinity that's one also a group who affirmed

[63:30]that Jesus created the universe which is kuur likewise a group this

[63:37]is among the sh you hear this sometimes a group which says

[63:41]Ali created the universe likewise this is kufur kuur absolute Injustice you're

[63:56]doing to Ali so what's Allah's job Ali is creating the universe

[64:00]why has said there's a difference between saying through the light of

[64:06]Muhammad and Ali there's a discussion okay but Ali created what Quran

[64:11]are you reading what Quran are you reading B the group who

[64:19]recognize that Jesus is a prophet sent by Allah and divinely appointed

[64:23]the Messiah of Ben benu is likewise you have the group that

[64:30]recognizes that IM Ali was divinely appointed among the um of Muhammad

[64:38]muham Muhammad this is who we are we are we are the

[64:51]ones that believe in the Divine divinely chosen IM of we don't

[64:56]no just a good companion I was okay Warrior no divinely chosen

[65:01]nothing less nothing more see you have a you have the group

[65:10]that did they didn't give the true recognition the true belief in

[65:15]which he says ma which has two extremes Jews who say that

[65:23]Isa was a good man some Jews say that but not sent

[65:26]by God and was just a wise person he was it was

[65:30]all right good guy you have other Jews who say Jesus was

[65:37]a illegitimate son of a woman of indecency and slander his mother

[65:41]Mary that's true I remember one time I was sitting down with

[65:46]a a student of knowledge he was a Jew he was one

[65:50]of the okay Jews he says you know he's against Israel and

[65:55]so on and we had a a long discussion and uh he

[65:57]was very you know hesitant to tell me their belief about Jesus

[66:03]and Mary and and it's exactly that they they literally believe Jesus

[66:12]was a son of Zena and Maryam was a woman of indecency

[66:17]he actually said that to me last Point likewise you have the

[66:25]those who hate who say that Ali was a bloodthirsty person the

[66:31]and slander his father what a comparison muham muham we say this

[66:46]with absolute confidence Ali is like Jesus with absolute confidence just likeo

[66:52]said and this Hadith by the way is a perfect example to

[67:00]show us the true status of my brothers and sisters I thank
