[Music] i think the first thing to realize is that you are
[0:11]
in absolute poverty there's nothing coming from you there's nothing you can
[0:14]
do except that allah does it for you that you have to
[0:20]
seek allah's help you're not doing it on your own you cannot
[0:23]
rely upon yourself so the first thing i would say is come
[0:25]
to allah in prayer a lot of people for some reason they
[0:30]
theoretically can accept this but they would refuse to come and say
[0:34]
well at the end of the day i'll just do it myself
[0:35]
i mean if i pray or i don't pray to god about
[0:38]
this if i ask him for it or not i'm still going
[0:40]
to do it if i do it with my actions it's almost
[0:42]
to say that prayer has no actual cause and effect but causes
[0:47]
and effects are not always physical there are causes and effects which
[0:52]
are on the transcendent sphere that if you were to pray something
[0:56]
will change inside you that if you didn't pray it wouldn't have
[0:59]
changed so the first thing to do is yo allah allow me
[1:02]
to always have you on the forefront of my mind to be
[1:06]
awakened do not allow me to stay within myself as imam sajad
[1:11]
says in not to leave me to myself even for the blink
[1:14]
of an eye don't leave me to myself always stay with me
[1:16]
so the first thing is to actually want allah to allow you
[1:21]
to be with him so you have to want this you have
[1:25]
to desire this that's the first thing a lot of us don't
[1:26]
want it and when we're motivated we say i'm going to do
[1:30]
i'm going to do it when you leave you don't want it
[1:32]
anymore it's much easier to just not live with it so you
[1:37]
don't want it so we have to be honest do i even
[1:40]
want this like do i so you have to admit to yourself
[1:43]
okay ya allah i want this i desire this you
