[0:16]lady fatima alaihi salam has two recorded sermons one sermon which she

[0:25]delivered in the masjid of rasulullah which is known as and a

[0:33]second sermon which she delivered to the wives of the and the

[0:38]companions when the wives of the companions came to visit her when

[0:45]she was ill in her final days the first sermon al khutm

[0:50]al fadaqiyyah is perhaps one of the most important sermons that has

[0:56]been recorded from the ma'somine it is a pretty long sermon and

[1:04]fatima zahra the reason that she came out to the masjid to

[1:10]deliver that sermon was after the usurpation of the caliphate after the

[1:18]rite the haq of imam ali was taken away from him and

[1:23]the caliphate was taken away from amir al mu'mineen so several things

[1:30]happened by the establishment that came and took power one is that

[1:35]they took away the khilafa the official rule while we believe that

[1:40]the khilafa and the imam of amir al mumin remained with him

[1:44]even though he was not in official power however another very important

[1:50]thing that the establishment did was that they took away the land

[1:54]of fadak from lady fatima they usurped the land of fadak which

[1:59]was a land that belonged to fatima tazarah rasulullah had given it

[2:04]to her after the battle of khaybar and she had ownership of

[2:09]that land but they came and they took it away so she

[2:13]comes out to the masjid and she proves to them in that

[2:17]sermon using the quran that what they have done is wrong and

[2:23]they have fallen in the traps of shaitan and they have rebelled

[2:28]and turned against the teachings of the quran and the teachings of

[2:31]rasulullah now this sermon is very important and it is recorded for

[2:38]us even in the way fatima to zaha'u alaihi salam came out

[2:43]to the masjid to deliver the sermon that has all been recorded

[2:46]to us the sermon begins when abu bakr he declared an ijma

[2:57]a consensus in not giving fadak to lady fatima and she heard

[3:06]about that she came out to the masjid she came out to

[3:13]the to the masjid and she came out walking in the same

[3:19]manner that rasulullah would walk but she was covered and she was

[3:26]walking surrounded by women and she entered into the masjid of rasulullah

[3:31]and they placed a partition between her and the sahaba she sat

[3:38]down and then she her eyes fall on the member of rasulullah

[3:44]and she begins to cry and then she begins the sermon the

[3:49]sermon is pretty long however to summarize it fatima tazarah talks about

[3:58]arabs before islam and after islam how rasulullah brought the religion of

[4:07]islam to them and saved them from the darkness to the light

[4:12]and she talks about the philosophy of the islamic rulings why is

[4:17]there salah why is there zakat why is there amr ibn maruf

[4:20]why is there jihad why is there all of these things she

[4:23]talks about that and this is something very important where scholars they've

[4:27]written books about the sermon of lady fatima she explains the philosophy

[4:33]of islamic teachings and then she goes on to talk about her

[4:39]being the daughter of the daughter of the man who brought a

[4:45]religion and established rights and gave rights to all of these individuals

[4:49]and now they're living in comfort as a result of the effort

[4:55]and the dedication of rasulullah and amir al mumineen now her own

[5:02]haq fatima the daughter of the prophet own rights are taken away

[5:07]from her so she goes to bring five verses in the quran

[5:13]to prove that what they have done is wrong regarding the land

[5:17]of fadakh to prove that taking away and usurping a piece of

[5:21]land from fatima is wrong because they came and they said that

[5:26]fatima tazarah cannot inherit because supposedly abu bakr he heard from rasulullah

[5:34]saying that the prophets we don't leave behind an inheritance so she

[5:42]brings five verses in the quran to prove that the prophets do

[5:47]leave an inheritance didn't zakaria say didn't allah grant suleiman and dawud

[5:59]didn't they inherit from one another and she gives several verses in

[6:05]the quran five verses to be precise regarding inheritance regarding the rights

[6:11]of inheritance and regarding showing that a prophet can inherit but despite

[6:17]all of that they rejected the quran and they rejected the words

[6:22]of fatima alaihi salam so this brings us a very important lesson

[6:28]some people they come and they say why would fatima go and

[6:32]make a fuss over a piece of land this is how some

[6:35]people regard the they're willing to you know accuse them they're willing

[6:40]to have bad doubt and assumptions with regards to the the fact

[6:47]of the matter is that fatima and the didn't care about a

[6:51]piece of land it's not the piece of land that fatima was

[6:55]was focused on it is fatima trying to show the world that

[7:02]this establishment cannot be trusted with a piece of land how can

[7:07]they be trusted with the khalafa if they're going to break the

[7:10]rules of the quran with a simple issue as inheritance and they

[7:14]don't have the knowledge of the quran or they do have the

[7:17]knowledge but yet they go against it then how can they be

[7:21]given the authority to speak on behalf of the quran and do

[7:28]the tafsir of the quran so my dear brothers and sisters my

[7:33]message to the youth is that let us take the sermon as

[7:38]a lesson for us let us resort to the quran when we

[7:44]are trying to prove our issues when we're trying to live our

[7:47]life fatima tazara she resorted to the quran she proved to them

[7:51]through the quran and another very important lesson is to stand for

[7:57]your rights if you feel that your rights have been taken away

[8:00]from you then you have the right you have the authority to

[8:03]stand out and speak against the injustice defend your rights or if

[8:07]you see other people they are being oppressed you see the quran

[8:10]being oppressed if you see the religion of islam being oppressed then

[8:14]you have the duty not only the right but you have the

[8:17]duty to speak out against the injustice and this is where fatima

[8:21]comes in fatima tazara she fulfilled her duty in joining the good

[8:30]and forbidding the evil some people have the idea that if i'm

[8:35]a the believers are they are supporters of one another and they

[8:58]enjoin the good and forbid the evil fatima tazarah after the death

[9:02]of rasulullah she saw that the establishment did not listen to amir

[9:07]al mumineen they sidelined amir al mumineen so she came out she

[9:11]came out to speak to show them that her as the daughter

[9:15]of the prophet what she is seeing the community the muslim community

[9:21]and the establishment diverting away from the truth and she came out

[9:25]and she let the world know that and until today the world

[9:29]knows that fatima tazarah was not satisfied with that establishment bukhari he

[9:35]narrates that fatima died while she was upset with abu bakr and

[9:40]rasulullah he said in a hadith that is also narrated by bukhari

[9:45]other muslims god is satisfied by the satisfaction of fatima and god

[9:55]is angered by the anger of fatima and fatima tazarah died while

[10:00]she was angry with that establishment and she asked for her grave

[10:05]to be hidden she asked for the establishment to not participate in

[10:10]her funeral and this is the clear proof that fatima tazara spoke

[10:14]against the injustice of her time my dear brothers and sisters we

[10:18]ask allah to make us from those who always stand with dihaq

[10:23]who always stand with what's right and against wrong even if someone

[10:28]that's committing wrong is a muslim someone from the companions of the

[10:34]prophet or not companions whoever it may be if someone is wrong

[10:38]we have to speak out against it
