[0:28]is in our last lesson we continued analyzing the topic of what
[0:59]is death and we shed light on verse 42 of surat zumar
[1:05]which basically informs us that death resembles sleep and sleep resembles death
[1:13]as allah tells us that during the time of death and the
[1:21]time of sleep the nafs of the human being is removed from
[1:26]his body however when you're asleep if the time of your death
[1:35]has not arrived allah subhanahu wa ta'ala returns that nafs to the
[1:38]body we said the nafs is what the nafs is the soul
[1:42]and to be more precise as we shall realize today it is
[1:48]part of the soul part of the soul so that part comes
[1:54]out of the human being at the time of death and at
[1:56]the time of sleep however at the time of death not only
[1:59]does that part come out the whole soul comes out and there's
[2:05]a complete disconnection with what with the body there's a disconnection between
[2:09]the soul and the body then we went on uh mentioning uh
[2:17]different lessons or morals we can derive from uh that holy verse
[2:22]because allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala mentioned in the verse that he wants us
[2:29]to think he mentioned that he wants us to think as he
[2:32]said he said there are indeed signs in that for a people
[2:42]who reflect amongst the lessons we derive from this verse as we
[2:47]said last week is that it shows us the weakness of the
[2:51]human being the human being is so weak he cannot refrain from
[2:59]sleeping this human who might have you know fame and popularity and
[3:06]maybe even dominion over a wide part of the globe that human
[3:10]being cannot refrain from sleep if he actually tries to refrain from
[3:15]sleep for a day or two or three at a certain point
[3:19]his body will automatically shut down he will be forced to sleep
[3:26]unless of course he dies which is a major form of sleep
[3:29]that shows you the weakness of the human being and it reminds
[3:33]you of the greatness of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala allah azzawajal although he
[3:40]manages millions and billions and zillions of affairs at once he does
[3:46]not get tired and does not feel um any type of tiredness
[3:58]or drowsiness thus he is not in need of sleep subhana we
[4:03]also mentioned that amongst the lessons we derived from the verse is
[4:07]that it gives us a good idea of how a person may
[4:13]feel pleasure or pain after death during the stage of barzah although
[4:18]his soul is disconnected from his body because when we sleep what
[4:24]do we see we see dreams and when we see dreams we
[4:30]do experience sometimes pleasure or pain we do experience for example comfort
[4:36]or uh discomfort so just as a person may feel pain or
[4:47]pleasure comfort or discomfort in his dream when the nephs is outside
[4:52]of the body similarly when the nafs in fact the whole soul
[4:57]is out of the body it can still feel what pleasure if
[5:02]it is dwelling in heaven and it could feel pain if it
[5:06]is dwelling in hell fire and we read a tradition by imam
[5:09]al-baqarah which confirmed this point the imam alayhi salat was used the
[5:18]example of dreams in order to make us understand um or give
[5:25]us a better understanding of how a person may feel pain or
[5:29]pleasure comfort or discomfort in barzah after he passes away we're not
[5:37]saying that you're going to feel the same amount of comfort or
[5:40]the same amount of pain obviously everything is amplified in the hereafter
[5:46]so the pleasure that a person feels in bereza is much greater
[5:51]than the pleasure he experiences in his dreams in this world and
[5:54]the pains he feels in barzah are much greater than the pains
[5:59]or the discomfort he might experience when he has a nightmare or
[6:06]a frightening dream today inshallah we want to mention a bunch of
[6:13]traditions which speak about this issue the issue of what happens when
[6:22]you sleep and the connection between this and death we have several
[6:29]traditions to share the first one is a tradition in the book
[6:36]al-kafi by imam al-baqara it's a long tradition but i will only
[6:41]mention the part that relates to our to our topic at the
[6:44]moment the imam says that his grandfather amir al-mu'min imam swears by
[7:07]allah he says i swear by allah any who sleeps whenever a
[7:17]shii or shiaya sleeps his or her soul ascends ascends where it
[7:26]ascends the skies allah takes the soul of that uh she a
[7:34]man or woman to the sky he allah takes the soul to
[7:50]the sky and then he blesses that soul the imam says if
[8:01]the time of death of that individual has arrived allah places the
[8:07]soul where he places the soul of that shia individual in the
[8:12]treasures of his mercy what is meant by the treasures of his
[8:17]mercy this word um can be understood in different ways you can
[8:24]derive several meanings from this one word amongst those meanings is the
[8:28]following places the soul of that shia individual where in the realm
[8:38]of mercy but not in any kind of mercy rather in a
[8:40]special type of mercy a very special type an important type of
[8:45]mercy such that the imam calls it what the treasures of his
[8:53]mercy at the end of the day the believer the follower of
[8:59]salam is an honorable creation of god he possesses a great status
[9:06]in the eyes of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala so it's only normal or
[9:12]natural to say it's only suitable to say that allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
[9:18]will place it where we'll place it in a realm of mercy
[9:20]in fact in a realm of special and unique mercy then he
[9:28]says he will also place the soul in the gordons of his
[9:41]heaven and in the shade of his throne now the word the
[9:48]shade of his throne might indicate might mean that this person will
[9:56]be spiritually close to allah or on top of that it could
[10:03]mean that the soul will actually be placed in the physical shade
[10:06]of the physical throne we've said multiple times that it seems from
[10:13]the traditions of that there is a creation of god uh a
[10:19]physical creation of god called the throne there is a physical creation
[10:26]of god called the throne yes allah isn't sitting on it but
[10:29]it does exist he says however if the time of that of
[10:44]that soul has not arrived it's not time to die yet allah
[10:51]azzawajal brings back the soul to the body but how he says
[10:57]he sends it with trusted or trustworthy angels so it's not sent
[11:06]on its own it's accompanied by the trusted or trustworthy angels so
[11:23]allah sends it with those angels so they may bring it back
[11:29]to the body which body the body from which it came out
[11:32]so it goes back to the same body why does it go
[11:36]back to the body it says so it may reside in that
[11:42]body which means that at the moment our souls are kind of
[11:51]trapped in our bodies at the time of sleep our souls are
[11:55]given an amount of freedom an amount of freedom at the time
[12:00]of death when when the person actually dies he's given what he's
[12:08]given more freedom right he's given more freedom supposing of course that
[12:14]he is a a good slave of allah a believer who does
[12:19]good deeds so this is one tradition informing us that at the
[12:28]time of sleep yes the soul does come out you might tell
[12:32]me but it's only talking about the shias correct this tradition is
[12:35]only talking about the shias later on in sha allah we will
[12:40]share with you a tradition speaking about people in general not only
[12:46]the shias but what's interesting is the imam used what word when
[12:53]speaking about that thing which leaves the body at the time of
[12:59]sleep he said allah is coming out the nafs comes out at
[13:18]the time of that and the time of sleep which proves to
[13:23]us that the nafs and the soul are one but in a
[13:26]bit you will realize the nafs is what uh surat zumar speaks
[13:35]about in verse 42 is part of the soul in a second
[13:49]tradition also a lengthy tradition which you can also find in al-kafi
[13:58]imam al-baqar is narrated i will only share with you the part
[14:05]that we need meaning the part pertaining to our topic because the
[14:08]narration is quite lengthy the imam teaches what to say in different
[14:14]instances and one of those instances is when he wakes up so
[14:19]he tells him he tells them when you get up from your
[14:44]sleep at night say the following all praise belongs to allah the
[14:50]one who brought my soul back to me so i may praise
[14:58]him and worship him again the imam here uses the word soul
[15:07]which confirms that at the time of sleep the soul is coming
[15:13]out if we go to the book we have a few traditions
[15:36]telling us what the prophet used to do when he would wake
[15:41]up what the prophet used to do sallallahu alaihi when he would
[15:46]wake up for example the tradition says that and it's also the
[15:54]kunia of imam jawad imam so this tradition goes back to imam
[16:00]bakker or imam jawad at the end of the day they're both
[16:05]imams they're both infallible and they are one light arahim he says
[16:21]whenever the messenger of allah peace be upon his family would wake
[16:26]up would get up from sleep he would fall in prostration for
[16:34]allah so the first thing or one of the first things the
[16:42]prophet would do upon waking up is what prostrating for allah what's
[16:49]interesting here the imam says he doesn't just tell you that he
[16:54]prospers he says he falls into prostration so it's as if it's
[17:01]an automatic you know deed performed by sallallahu alaihi in better terms
[17:05]rasulullah cannot help but fall into prostration and humble himself humiliate himself
[17:12]for god subhanallah this sunnah is an easy sunnah this habit or
[17:22]practice of rasulallah is an easy practice that we can implement every
[17:28]day in our lives let's try to perform this sunnah as soon
[17:34]as we wake up as soon as we wake up or maybe
[17:37]a minute or two after we wake up we go into sujud
[17:41]and we thank allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala for giving us another chance to
[17:48]live in this world why why would i thank allah for giving
[17:52]me another chance to live in this you know a gloomy and
[17:57]dark world one might say the answer is he's giving you another
[18:01]chance to perform good deeds to repent to fix your mistakes before
[18:09]your time is up at the moment you never know you might
[18:13]be when i say you i'm not talking about you specifically but
[18:18]the person the person might be from the dwellers of hellfire right
[18:23]you never know so when allah gives us another day to live
[18:29]in this world he's giving us another chance to repent before it's
[18:33]too late suppose that the person is actually from the dwellers of
[18:38]heaven meaning if he dies at the moment he will be transferred
[18:41]to heaven by giving him another chance by giving him another day
[18:46]in this world allah is giving him the chance to do what
[18:49]to reach higher levels in heaven because the levels of heaven are
[18:55]uh numerous there are a lot of levels that you could you
[19:00]could reach yes the lowest level in heaven is beyond imagination so
[19:04]let alone the the levels that are beyond that level but at
[19:09]the end of the day if you can reach high or supreme
[19:14]levels in heaven that would be better than reaching low levels in
[19:19]heaven so yes there are certain things that aren't too you know
[19:29]uh pleasant about this world but at the same time we can't
[19:34]only look at you know the dark side as they say we
[19:35]can't only look at the imperfections we also have to look at
[19:39]the the good qualities that lie in this world such as the
[19:45]fact that this world is what your actions and your beliefs in
[19:53]this world determine your faith in the hereafter your actions and your
[19:58]beliefs in this world actually lead you to heaven if you believe
[20:02]in the truth and you do what pleases allah subhanahu what pleases
[20:06]allah subhanahu wa sister so if you're asking do we need to
[20:14]do before sujud no you don't have to you don't have to
[20:20]so this is a good sunnah of course all the sunnah of
[20:25]rasulullah are good but this one is a good and easy sunnah
[20:27]to practice let's go back to mccarran he says that the prophet
[20:55]wouldn't sleep unless the siwak which is basically an old day toothbrush
[21:06]it was basically a wooden piece a piece of wood taken from
[21:13]a particular branch of a tree especially the olive tree so he
[21:17]wouldn't sleep unless the siwak also called the miswak was beside his
[21:21]head whenever he would sleep he would put the siwak the miswak
[21:27]beside him once he would wake up he would brush his teeth
[21:34]with the siwak or miswak the tradition says amongst the words he
[21:53]would say when he would wake up is the following all praise
[21:59]belongs to allah the one who revived me after my death surely
[22:04]my lord is all forgiving and thankful he's thankful how is he
[22:13]thankful when we say allah is thankful what is meant is that
[22:16]allah treats you like a person who thanks you if someone thanks
[22:22]what does he do he says a good word to you or
[22:28]he gives you a gift or he does you a favor correct
[22:30]when allah thanks you for your deeds he rewards you so he
[22:39]is thankful means he is uh a god that rewards his slaves
[22:43]when they do good deeds what's interesting is the prophet said what
[22:49]the prophet used to say salallahu all praise belongs to allah the
[23:00]one who revived me after my dad see which proves to us
[23:05]more that sleep is a form of death but it's a minor
[23:10]form of that and that is what a major form of sleep
[23:28]before we continue i'd like to say a word about just a
[23:35]side note a word about the importance of doing a good deed
[23:40]at the start of our day and at the end of our
[23:44]day it's really important to start our day with a deed that
[23:48]pleases allah [Music] the same applies to the end of the day
[23:59]meaning right before you sleep it's very important to do something that
[24:03]allah likes such as or simply saying because there are traditions indicating
[24:19]that when a person begins his day with a good deed and
[24:21]concludes his day with a good deed if he commits sins in
[24:28]between those good deeds the sins will be forgiven the sins will
[24:33]be forgiven and that is a blessing truly for example we have
[24:38]a tradition here by imam saljat i think i've shared it with
[24:43]you before but we'll share it again there is no harm in
[24:46]reminding ourselves of these beautiful traditions you can find it in mizan
[24:56]al-hikma imam salam allah that there is an angel who is in
[25:19]charge of us allah has authorized him to do what to basically
[25:26]be with us possibly to watch over us why do i say
[25:30]to watch over us because the imam says that angel is writing
[25:35]our deeds he writes our deeds in our record meaning the book
[25:42]of deeds so the imam says make sure that a good deed
[25:51]is written for you at the start of that book and at
[25:55]the end of that book because if you do so the sins
[26:00]you commit in between those two goddeeds will be forgiven so we
[26:09]understand from the hadith of imam that when a person starts his
[26:19]day with a good deed and ends his day with a good
[26:23]deed if he maintains this habit until the end of his life
[26:28]then he will be from uh he will be from those who
[26:34]are successful he will succeed in the hereafter and will be forgiven
[26:53]now let's go back to the traditions speaking about sleep and death
[27:02]we have two more traditions to share with you regarding this topic
[27:10]this one is in the book for shaykh rahmatullahi man called muhammad
[27:22]ibn al-qasim and now had a dialogue with imam he said so
[27:39]the man had a question to the imam he told him sometimes
[27:44]a believer sees a dream and uh then he realizes that whatever
[27:51]he saw in his dream takes place in the outer world which
[27:55]means that he sees a dream that holds meaning and he sees
[28:04]the future in his dream so sooner or later as he lives
[28:09]in this world he experiences or witnesses what he actually saw previously
[28:16]in his dream so some of the dreams that the believer sees
[28:20]are actual real dreams meaning dreams that have meanings but then he
[28:26]tells the imam salaam however sometimes the believer will have a dream
[28:31]but he uh the dream will not be a real dream it
[28:38]will be a fake dream he won't witness whatever he saw in
[28:46]his dream in the outer world so basically and no funny is
[28:53]asking the imam why is it that the believer sometimes has real
[28:56]dreams dreams that contain meaning and sometimes he has fake dreams dreams
[29:03]that don't contain or hold meaning the imam explained saying [Music] he
[29:23]says when the believer sleeps when the believer sleeps the following happens
[29:28]let me give you the literal translation of what the imam is
[29:33]saying and then i'll explain what he means he tells him when
[29:35]he sleeps when the movement sleeps a particular movement emerges from his
[29:44]soul and that movement ascends to the sky now what is meant
[29:51]by the movement this is the literal translation what is meant by
[29:54]the movement as you shall see from the narration is that part
[30:01]of the soul comes out of the the body part of the
[30:07]soul comes out and it goes towards the sky so he says
[30:19][Music] reaches a point in the sky in which the divine decree
[30:40]of god is inscribed so when it gets to that point it
[30:48]sees a particular dream the dream that it sees or say the
[30:54]dreams that it sees when it is in that point of the
[31:00]universe are what are real dreams dreams that have meanings so now
[31:06]we understand why sometimes you see a dream and later on whatever
[31:11]you saw in the dream takes place in the outer world when
[31:15]you sleep your soul ascends to the sky and reaches the point
[31:22]in which the divine decree of god is inscribed you witness it
[31:26]so you witness the future you see the future before actually living
[31:31]it you come back to this world and after a few hours
[31:36]or days or months or years you witness what you witnessed previously
[31:41]in the world of dreams similar to what you saw witnessed sahih
[31:49]he saw a dream when he was a child he saw our
[31:54]dream when he was a child he saw that the sun the
[31:59]moon and 11 stars prostrated for him this actual dream took place
[32:03]years after decades after when yakub raheel his mom and his 11
[32:13]brothers prostrated in his presence they prostrated for yusuf what is meant
[32:19]by prostrating for use of allah isn't that they actually you know
[32:24]considered yusuf to be god and they prosecuted for him no that's
[32:28]not the case imam al-baqarah explains he says that basically they prostrated
[32:35]because of yusuf but their prosperity was was for god subhana they
[32:40]were thanking allah so they prostrated in the presence of yusuf ali
[32:47]salam when they were reunited with him but the prostration itself was
[32:54]for allah they were thanking allah through that prostration so this is
[33:05]what happens when the believer has a real dream he says however
[33:16]what the believer sees meaning what the soul of the believer sees
[33:22]on earth when it is what when it is out of the
[33:25]body of the men those dreams are fake dreams they don't have
[33:31]meaning so the imam is telling us basically when we sleep our
[33:37]soul goes on a journey part of the soul goes on a
[33:43]journey and depending on where it sees what it sees the dream
[33:46]might be real or might be fake [Music] a soul or the
[34:09]soul actually ascend towards the sky he said yes yes when you
[34:16]sleep when the believer sleeps his soul ascends to the such that
[34:31]no part of the soul remains in the body the imam said
[34:38]what he said he told them if the whole soul came out
[34:49]such that no part of the soul remained in the body then
[34:55]the person would have died this is why i was telling you
[34:59]that the nephs mentioned in surat zumar is part of the soul
[35:05]it's part of the soul so what we understand is when you
[35:13]fall asleep when the believer sleeps what happens the soul moves freely
[35:18]to a certain extent of course part of it comes out and
[35:23]goes on a journey but the other part remains in the body
[35:26]had it not been for that the person would have passed away
[35:32]now for he has interesting questions he told the imam how does
[35:38]it come out explain to me how does the soul actually come
[35:41]out of the body during the time of sleep he tells him
[36:03]he gives him an analogy he tells him look at the sun
[36:07]don't you see how the sun is in a specific place in
[36:13]outer space the sun remains in that place correct yes modern science
[36:20]has proved that it does move it does move but ultimately it
[36:28]remains in a specific place in outer space it doesn't for example
[36:31]collide with you know the earth and the other celestial bodies uh
[36:38]such as the planets or you know nearby stars etc so it
[36:45]says look at the sun the sun remains where it is in
[36:52]outer space but its light and its rays reach the earth the
[36:57]sunlight and the sun rays reach the earth the same applies to
[37:06]the soul he says asluha film the essence of the soul remains
[37:10]in the body even when we're asleep yes even when we are
[37:16]asleep it says the essence of the soul remains in the body
[37:19]however part of the soul does what comes out and moves such
[37:31]that it stretches up towards the sky this is the tradition of
[38:01]imam assad [Music] again this tradition is talking about the moment i'll
[38:09]share with you one last tradition this one is talking about people
[38:14]in general not only the movement that whenever a person sleeps realize
[38:51]he says a person he's talking about people not only about believers
[38:55]people in general whenever a person sleeps his nephs does what his
[39:07]nafs ascends the sky or ascends towards the sky that is the
[39:11]more precise translation it ascends towards the sky but his rooh remains
[39:18]where in the body so i want you to make a connection
[39:25]now between what imam al-baqar or jawad is saying and between what
[39:28]imam al-sadiq said imam sadiq told that the whole soul cannot exit
[39:35]the body at the time of sleep unless it's time to die
[39:36]right why because the person will die so part of it will
[39:43]remain the essence of the soul will remain in the body and
[39:46]another part will come out here the imam alaihissalam uses two words
[39:52]when speaking about the part that comes out he calls it what
[39:58]nafs when speaking about the part that remains in the body he
[40:01]calls it what he calls it then he he says although the
[40:20]nafs exits the body and the remains in the body they remain
[40:24]connected through a link that resembles the sun rays so there's still
[40:34]a link there's still a link between nafs and who for that
[40:51]soul to be collected or to be retrieved meaning if the time
[40:56]of death arrives what happens the nafs the nephs calls the rule
[41:07]and the rule meaning the part of the soul inside the body
[41:11]answers the call and comes out of the body hence the person
[41:16]dies [Music] he says but if allah gives permission for the for
[41:34]the the soul to go back into the body what happens the
[41:39]nafs answers the call of the rule the part of the soul
[41:45]inside the body caused the nafs and the nafs answers and comes
[41:50]back he says this is what allah is saying when he says
[42:00]which is verse 42 of surat then the imam speaks about dreams
[42:18]he says whatever the soul sees when it is in the skies
[42:25]whatever it sees over there will be basically seen in its dreams
[42:35]or to be more precise in the translation he says that basically
[42:40]whatever it sees in the skies and it sees dreams at that
[42:48]point those dreams will have what will have meaning they will be
[42:54]real dreams he says as for the things that it sees between
[43:07]the earth and the sky see there's a distance that the soul
[43:15]has to cross before it reaches the sky there's something between the
[43:20]earth and the sky there's a zone between the earth and the
[43:25]sky so the imam says whatever it sees in that zone if
[43:28]it sees dreams at that point those dreams are fake dreams they
[43:36]don't have meanings those dreams are actually those dreams come from the
[43:44]shaitaan the devil and i think we mentioned last week yes we
[43:51]did that sometimes you see a dream a fake dream and the
[43:57]the dream will be actually stemming or coming from the shaitan the
[44:02]shaitaan will somehow instill that dream in your mind or imagination or
[44:12]soul whatever you want to call it so by now it should
[44:26]be crystal clear that um sleep is a minor form of death
[44:34]and death is a major form of sleep there's a strong connection
[44:42]and a strong resemblance between what death and sleep so we understand
[45:05]that death in itself is not scary right if it's like sleep
[45:12]in itself it's not scary it's not scary so why would people
[45:21]fear death or try to you know just forget about death for
[45:29]multiple reasons it depends on the person some people fear death or
[45:39]say they hate death because they think death is a form of
[45:46]inexistence obviously existing is better than what than not existed they think
[45:56]death is the end of the road so it's only normal for
[46:01]them to do what to cling on to this life and to
[46:06]try to forget about death let alone having interest in what and
[46:14]die this is one reason another reason why people might hate death
[46:27]or fear death is that they're not prepared for it they're not
[46:34]prepared they know death is not a form of inexistence rather it's
[46:40]another world it's not the end of the road rather it's the
[46:44]beginning of the real life but they have not prepared themselves for
[46:51]it they've you know spent their days in disobeying allah allah they
[46:59]barely remember death they are distracted with the unlawful pleasures and temptations
[47:05]of this world hence they fear dying because they know deep down
[47:11]inside if they die they're they're most likely going to be punished
[47:16]most slightly they will be punished by allah and a human being
[47:23]fierce punishment especially unbearable punishment hence they fear it or hate it
[47:32]a third reason one might fear or hate death is that he
[47:41]doesn't really know what it is see the person might believe that
[47:45]that is not the end of the road and it's the beginning
[47:50]of a new life but at the end of the day it's
[47:54]a new life he has not experienced it yet it's still unknown
[48:01]to him and because he doesn't know the details of that life
[48:07]the details of that world he fears it right there's a statement
[48:16]that says people are enemies of things that they don't know of
[48:26]things that they are ignorant of so the ignorance of the human
[48:37]being regarding the hereafter him not knowing what to expect once he
[48:41]dies that might instill fear in his heart and make him you
[48:49]know fear death or even hate it a fourth reason excuse me
[49:04]a fourth reason is that when the human being spends a good
[49:13]amount of time in this world he gets attached to his surroundings
[49:21]especially to his wealth and to his family members and friends he
[49:31]might get attached to his you know social status to his fame
[49:36]his popularity so on so forth and he knows that at the
[49:42]time of that what happens he has to leave everything behind he
[49:46]has to leave everything and all of his beloved who are still
[49:50]alive in this world behind and go to the hereafter that in
[49:56]itself is difficult it's difficult especially what especially uh separating from the
[50:02]people you love separating from the people you love is not easy
[50:06]it is difficult hence we have a tradition that imam al hasan
[50:12]cried at the time of death inshallah we will read that tradition
[50:16]in detail later on when he was asked why are you crying
[50:21]he said i cry for two reasons one of which is separating
[50:28]from my beloved i'm not saying imam al-hasan fear death i'm not
[50:37]saying you know hated that on the contrary when death arrives the
[50:42]imams alaihi are ready to leave this world and they they love
[50:48]to meet allah subhanahu wa and to go to the other route
[50:53]yes they do not teach us to commit suicide or even to
[50:59]have suicidal thoughts but they do teach us that once that arrives
[51:03]once it is the time to die and you actually realize that
[51:07]you know these are your last moments in this world is here
[51:10]you know here is rasulullah here is etc uh be pleased with
[51:20]allah's decree be pleased with allah you know have interest in meeting
[51:34]allah have interest in meeting allah subhanahu but even then the imam
[51:41]says what he said separating from my beloved separating from the people
[51:44]you love is not easy it's it's hard it's painful especially that
[51:50]the beloved of imam al-hassan and it's very difficult to separate from
[52:05]those people yes he knew that he was going to his forefathers
[52:15]and the noble companions of rasulallah so a fourth reason why someone
[52:28]might might you know detest death or fear it is that he's
[52:35]too attached to his worldly blessings and he knows that when death
[52:42]arrives he has to completely detached from all of these blessings he
[52:48]will be sent to a grave not even with his clothes he
[52:55]doesn't take his clothes what's with him rather he is given a
[53:03]cafe shroud and he is placed in that grave so those are
[53:05]four reasons why someone might fear or hate death next week inshaallah
[53:12]will start with the first stage of the hereafter known as allah
