[0:00]regime is [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] we mentioned we read a few
[1:09]traditions which confirm the presence of al-hajja so we have several traditions
[1:22]that tell us there must be a hajja a proof of Allah
[1:29]on Earth at all times and in some traditions the Imam says
[1:34]that if the does not exist if the is not on Earth
[1:40]then the Earth will swallow its inhabitants which means that that human
[1:49]life cannot exist in this world without the presence of the proof
[1:56]of Allah and we said that the proof of Allah azzawajal could
[2:01]be a prophet or could be a successor of a prophet such
[2:07]is the case with our imams they were not Prophets but they
[2:12]were the successors of the sealer prophets Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam what
[2:20]led us to these narrations if you remember we were mentioning uh
[2:26]logical proof we mentioned a logical proof confirming the presence of Imam
[2:30]and Mahdi right now which is the proof of the protector the
[2:37]intellect tells you that it's necessary to have a protector of Allah's
[2:43]religion present with the people at all times and we read a
[2:52]tradition by one of our imamsalam where he said that there has
[2:56]to be a scholar on Earth with the people at all times
[3:02]let me read the tradition once again for you so we can
[3:08]continue where we left off the tradition of course is in alcafi
[3:16]kitabun Cafe saiduk he said Imam which indicates that there has to
[3:48]be an Imam at all times on Earth then Imam explains why
[3:53]he gives a reason why there should be in Imam at all
[3:57]times says so that if the Believers add something to the religion
[4:05]which is not part of the religion the Imam will bring them
[4:08]back to the right path so he'll do something to notify them
[4:12]that no this is wrong this is not part of Islam and
[4:18]if they subtract something from the religion the Imam alaihissalam brings it
[4:23]back into the religion the narration is very clear that one of
[4:30]the roles of the Imam is to protect the religion to keep
[4:36]it intact and this applies to an apparent Imam and to am
[4:40]in Imam who is in hiding in Imam who is in occultation
[4:45]see there are certain rules that the Imam who is in occultation
[4:52]might not be able to do because he's an occultation not because
[4:56]he's physically unable to do them physically he is able to do
[5:00]them but because he's in occupation those roles cannot be taken care
[5:06]of at the moment by the Imam specifically they can be taken
[5:12]care of by his for example deputies whereas there are roles that
[5:23]the Imam alaihissalam can take care of and must take care of
[5:28]whether he's a parent or not whether he's in occultation or not
[5:35]and so right now awaits his own reappearance awaits Allah's permission so
[5:46]he may reappear salaam the Imam continuously preserves the religion of Islam
[5:56]which Islam the Islam of Muhammad sallam and keeps it intact through
[6:06]his presence we are certain that we're still following the same Islam
[6:13]that rasulullah conveyed that rasulallah propagated so the presence of Imam Sharif
[6:25]and believing in Imam gives us certainty that right now we are
[6:36]following the same Islam that rasulullah taught now these traditions of the
[6:46]Traditions that tell you there has to be a proof of Allah
[6:51]at all times on Earth they confirm the presence of Imam why
[7:03]well because we know that rasulullah passed away he was the hajja
[7:12]of Allah over all his creations and over the human beings yes
[7:17]and during his time he was the living meaning the one who
[7:25]was living on Earth over the humans and Visions all right when
[7:30]he passed away he was the on Earth the living on Earth
[7:37]when he passed away who was the living in Hassan when he
[7:41]passed away who was living in Hussain foreign there has to be
[8:18]someone so these narrations the narrations about confirm that right now there
[8:26]is a hajja on Earth now one might tell me how do
[8:32]you know he is the son of Alaska because of other proofs
[8:35]because of other proofs that specifically tell us he is the son
[8:40]of al-ascari the son of alhadi the son of al-jawad Etc meaning
[8:47]that those are his forefathers he is at the same time at
[9:05]the same time if we connect these narrations with the narrations meaning
[9:11]the narrations that speak about with the narrations that mention the twelve
[9:16]imams that they're only 12 not 11 and not 13 and we
[9:21]know that was the 11th Imam and we also know that his
[9:29]uh his son is the next Imam in line then we know
[9:38]that his son has been living on Earth and will continue to
[9:49]live until the day of his reappearance in fact until he fulfills
[9:54]his mission in this world which is to fill the Earth with
[9:57]Justice and Equity as it will be filled with Injustice and inequity
[10:02]and also revive the religion of his grandfather Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam
[10:12]so by tying these narrations together the ones that tell you there
[10:19]are 12 imams specifically 12 what the narrations about with the narrations
[10:25]that tell you that the Imam after ilascari is his son then
[10:31]you'll know that the son of Alaska the one called el mehdi
[10:37]the one called sahibzaman the one called Sharif the one called that
[10:46]Imam husband alive from the the days of his father and continue
[10:52]to live and continues to live and will continue to live until
[10:59]his reappearance and until he fulfills his mission so now if we've
[11:13]understood that point you'll understand that the narrations confirming the presence of
[11:21]Imam Sharif or abundant we're not talking about one or two narrations
[11:25]we're not talking about you know five or six weak narrations as
[11:33]some people who are a deviant like to say no you're talking
[11:39]about oceans of narrations and many of these narrations have a sahih
[11:44]sanad or a reliable sanat can there be a narration with a
[11:51]weak sanat with a weak chain of narrators confirming the presence of
[11:57]the mighty yes that's possible but the weakness of the Senate of
[12:02]that narration does not does not contradict the presence of Imam because
[12:08]his presence as we said is confirmed by the intellect number one
[12:18]by in Quran number two and by other many reliable and or
[12:24]sahih narrations number three so if anything that narration which has a
[12:37]weak sanad only strengthens our faith in the Imam one might say
[12:47]you mentioned that there are quranic verses that confirm his presence present
[12:54]us one quranic verse see there are quranic verses that speak about
[13:00]the Imam that speak about his rise his reappearance or what he
[13:08]will do once he reappears but at the same time there are
[13:16]verses that speak about his presence right now at least one there's
[13:27]at least one verse that's the least we can say for argument's
[13:35]sake that confirms his presence and that is a verse in Surat
[13:43]which verse Allah says in verse 7 .
[14:03]foreign so the next time someone tells you is there a quranic
[14:19]verse that confirms the presence of the Mahdi you can use this
[14:22]one how so what is the verse saying let's look at the
[14:30]wording of the verse so we may have a basic understanding of
[14:35]what it's saying foreign and those who disbelief say why has not
[14:43]a sign bin sent down upon him from his Lord so they
[14:51]say if only if only a sign meaning a miracle would descend
[14:57]upon Muhammad sallallahu alaihi from who from his Lord here the the
[15:06]disbelievers unfortunately were doing two things they were belittling and Quran was
[15:18]the um the greatest Miracle presented by rasulallahu alaihi wasallam right the
[15:26]greatest Miracle presented by the prophet other than of course the prophet
[15:33]has to uh Eternal Miracles that he presents to mankind speaking Quran
[15:42]and the silent Quran so other than the greatest Miracle is does
[15:50]he have other Miracles yes he performed many other Miracles one of
[15:55]which was splitting the moon one of which was causing water to
[16:00]stem from between his fingers and quenching The Thirst of his army
[16:05]through that water through that blessed water so he did have other
[16:11]Miracles but in Quran Kareem was his main miracle and it's the
[16:14]Eternal Miracle of rasulullah unfortunately the Arabs the disbelievers would belittle in
[16:26]Quran so they would tell the prophet bring us something else bring
[16:30]us what another miracle and they would do so out of their
[16:36]stubbornness so the first thing they would do was belittle the Quran
[16:42]the second is they would demand the prophet for more miracles not
[16:47]for the sake of believing not for the sake of actually submitting
[16:51]to the truth but only because they were stubborn they were stubborn
[16:59]and they did not want to give in to the truth hence
[17:04]you find that rasulallah in certain cases would not give in to
[17:11]their uh he would not fulfill their desire he would not fulfill
[17:17]their request why wasn't Allah able to give him a new Miracle
[17:23]Allah is able to but Miracles are not games they're not games
[17:29]a miracle is a serious matter bringing forth a miracle is a
[17:38]serious matter Allah has the ability to create Miracles day and night
[17:46]and to show us those Miracles but it's not a game Allah
[17:53]presents Miracles when it is the right time to do so and
[17:58]for the right reason and so because rasulullah had already shown them
[18:07]enough miracles in certain cases he would not fulfill their request when
[18:14]they would ask for what for more miracles so here the first
[18:20]part of the verse alludes to this issue Allah answers foreign and
[18:38]here you realize that Allah does not reply to the disbelievers rather
[18:45]he only addresses he doesn't even tell him say to reply to
[18:55]the disbelievers simply he addresses the prophet and by doing that there's
[18:59]an implicit message given which is that these disbelievers are so insignificant
[19:06]they don't deserve a reply their words are silly and so insignificant
[19:12]that we don't even have to reply to them keep on doing
[19:18]what you're doing you are solely a Warner so your duty is
[19:24]what is to warn them to deliver the message the way we
[19:30]told you to to deliver it to deliver it in full that's
[19:35]your duty but then Allah says although you are a Warner there's
[19:42]also a guide Coleman had you are only a Warner and there's
[19:52]a guide for every people for every people here some of us
[20:00]didn't say that when Allah mentions the Warner he's mentioning that the
[20:12]Warner's Duty is to show you the way the way of salvation
[20:20]show you the root the path that leads you to Allah's pleasure
[20:28]and lead you to Safety in the hereafter but when you know
[20:35]the way and you want to follow it or you start to
[20:40]follow it you're still in need of what a someone to help
[20:43]you someone to keep you on that path and here the Hadi
[20:51]the guide plays a crucial role one of the roles of al-hadi
[20:57]the guide is to keep you on the straight path to keep
[21:03]you on the path of Salvation on the path which leads you
[21:08]to Allah's pleasures of hanahu this is what Serene mentioned so another
[21:20]question is who is this Hadi who is this guide let us
[21:29]look at some opinions just to kind of expand our knowledge regarding
[21:34]this verse before we go into the um the main point which
[21:42]will confirm sahibzaman's presence so if we go to Texas we have
[21:56]different interpretations on who this guide is in hand and for every
[22:01]people there is a guide who is this guide number one one
[22:06]interpretation says Allah as Allah the guide for Humanity of course yes
[22:14]Allah has created proofs of his Representatives uh prophets and successors Who
[22:26]present guidance But ultimately they present you guidance from who from Allah
[22:30]so the main guide the primary guide is God this is one
[22:40]interpretation the second one also found in says the guide here is
[22:47]a prophet who calls them to Allah and presents Miracles that suit
[22:53]them and their era So based on this interpretation the verse is
[23:00]the verse is or could be confirming that rasulullah plays both rules
[23:09]that he is a Warner and at the same time he's what
[23:15]he's Hadi he's a guide and truly he was like that he
[23:17]was a mundar he was a rasool a messenger but at the
[23:20]same time he was in Imam foreign so he had both responsibilities
[23:30]placed on him the third interpretation that the saija Buddha presents is
[23:51]that is an Imam who guides them so when Allah says that
[23:56]every group of people have an Imam who guides them say it
[24:03]these are three interpretations again we presented them to kind of expand
[24:10]our knowledge regarding the interpretations of this verse now if we look
[24:16]at the wording of the verse carefully you are solely a Warner
[24:24]ya rasulullah in every group of people have a guide then we
[24:34]understand uh with ease with ease without difficulty that every generation must
[24:44]have a guide amongst them a guide appointed by Allah so after
[24:54]rasulullah dies there must be a guide amongst Humanity who guides Humanity
[25:01]it's as simple as that the verse is saying and every for
[25:10]every group of people there is what there is a kind so
[25:17]who was the guide after rasulallah who was the guide after who
[25:23]was the guide after and you keep on going from one Imam
[25:28]to the other until you get to Imam alaskari who was the
[25:32]guide after there are only 12 imams not 11 not 13.
[25:43]so this verse is confirming that after Alaska there is a Hadi
[25:51]and since there are only 12 imams then that Hadi that it
[26:00]means this Hadi has been living from the days of Alaska until
[26:04]today and will continue to live until he reappears and fulfills his
[26:10]mission had now if we come to the narrations Sunni and Shia
[26:25]narrations again I repeat Sunni and Shia narrations in regards to this
[26:31]verse the point we're making will become clearer why because Sunni and
[26:41]shiyani rations confirmed that when Allah says he's talking about someone other
[26:49]than rasul Allah the reason I'm saying so is that someone might
[26:54]tell you especially if he's a Sunni that when Allah says he's
[26:59]talking about the Prophet The Prophet is a Warner and he is
[27:07]a guide for all Humanity he is a guide for every group
[27:12]of group of people which is true in what sense rasulullah as
[27:15]I said a few minutes ago was a Warner and he was
[27:20]a guide he was guiding everyone we don't have an issue with
[27:23]that but to come and say that the verse is only saying
[27:27]this it's not saying anything else it's not presenting any other point
[27:33]is incorrect because based on Sunni and Shia Traditions again Sunni and
[27:42]Shia traditions the second part of the verse is speaking about someone
[27:50]other than rasulullah so it's saying yes you are a Warner but
[28:05]there's someone else who's a guide and he's a guide for what
[28:13]for the people all right let us look at some of these
[28:18]Traditions we'll start with the Sunni traditions I'm not sure if we'll
[28:26]have enough time to look at them all today all the Traditions
[28:29]I've prepared but we'll look at some and most likely next week
[28:37]we'll go into some of the Shia Traditions so we're going to
[28:41]look at some traditions yeah duramantur is a tafsir book written by
[29:04]assayote a prominent Sunni scholar soy sauce presented the following tradition they
[29:26]said that said may Allah be pleased with him this is what
[29:32]they said Right Said [Music] that when Allah says and those who
[29:46]disbelieve say why has not ace a sign been sent down upon
[29:56]him from his Lord this was the word of the polytheists amongst
[30:03]the Arabs then he says when Allah says he's saying the following
[30:11]when he says you are solely a Warner and for every group
[30:14]of people there is a God he is saying that every group
[30:23]have a guide who calls them to Allah subhanahu now here from
[30:35]this tradition you understand that is saying the word had is a
[30:46]general word it's a general word it presents a general meaning that
[30:53]can apply to rasulullah and also can apply to someone other than
[30:59]rasulullah because he said every group of people have what uh a
[31:07]guide who calls them to Allah in fact he uses the word
[31:14]means a caller every group of people have a caller who calls
[31:22]them to Allah this is one narration it's not the strongest narration
[31:32]that will prove our point but I just wanted to mention it
[31:35]to increase our knowledge in regards to the narrations that were narrated
[31:43]um in explanation of of this verse to explain this verse pipe
[31:52]the second narration is much stronger and proves our point he says
[32:10]foreign [Music] also presented a narration going back to a man called
[32:21]ekrima may Allah be pleased with him this is what he said
[32:30]so he presented a narration by ikrima and by a man called
[32:38]regarding this part of the verse verse 7 of Surat foreign he
[32:54]says when this verse came down or when the prophet was explaining
[33:00]it the prophet salallahu alaihi placed his hand on his chest his
[33:03]own chest and he said I am the Warner so here the
[33:08]prophet is explaining the verse to the Muslims he's saying I'm the
[33:14]Warner he's talking to me Allah and he uh placed his hand
[33:31]on the shoulder of Ali or he pointed to the shoulder of
[33:36]Ali may Allah be pleased with him peace be upon him and
[33:39]he said you are the guide o Ali because through you those
[33:51]who will be guided uh those who will be guided will receive
[34:01]guidance after me Bika yes after me through you o Ali those
[34:15]who are guided will be guided or will receive guidance so the
[34:24]narration is clear when Allah says he's talking about someone other than
[34:28]usual Allah [Music] the narration explicitly mentions but here the question remains
[34:39]passed away in year 40 after Hijra 40 after the migration of
[34:49]rasulullah so who was Allah says and every group of people have
[34:59]a guide now we know from the tradition here that is not
[35:03]only talking about rasulullah he is not talking about rasulullah or not
[35:07]only talking about him so who is it talking about all right
[35:13]who comes after Ali who's the guide after him and who's the
[35:20]guide after that guide well the guides after Ali were the 11
[35:23]imams after Allah the last being as the man and the verse
[35:34]refers to them all when it says hence let me conclude with
[35:41]a Shia narration I wanted to narrate the Sunni narrations first then
[35:45]go to the Shia narrations but since our time is almost done
[35:50]let me narrate one Shia tradition on this regard and next three
[35:56]controller will continue with the city narrations and other Shia narrations when
[36:14]we come to the book commanded we have a narration going back
[36:35]to IBN ABI Omer foreign ER and there is a guide for
[36:54]every group of people Allah he said the Warner is the prophet
[37:01]the messenger of Allah peace be upon Him peace be upon him
[37:03]in his family and Ali is the guide but then he said
[37:19]and in every era every time there is an Imam from us
[37:27]meaning from who guides them who guides the believers who guides the
[37:34]Muslims to what the messenger of Allah peace the upon him in
[37:39]his family presented so the Iman guides them to the essential Islam
[37:46]presented by rasulullah based on this tradition and other traditions in fact
[38:00]based on the wording of the verse as I told you we
[38:04]understand at uh and each era there has to be a guide
[38:10]so after us when Allah the guide was Ali after Ali the
[38:16]guide was al-husan after and Hussain the God was a sajjad and
[38:21]you keep on going until the days of Imam al-ascari after Alaska
[38:25]who was the guide in Quran saying it has to be Sharif
[38:36]so this verse is a verse that confirms the presence of Imam
[38:47]next week inshallah will mention more narrations on this regardless of
