[1:14]must muhamad alhamdulillah we benefit from the knowledge of our dear brother

[1:39]s much Rashad and inshallah we are going to benefit from the

[1:48]ma from the banquet of Quran and inah tonight I don't want

[1:58]to take too much of your time but just for a short

[2:03]talk I'm going to talk about the description of the companion of

[2:12]im as all of us we know that the expansion of the

[2:23]true religion in the world is Allah's definite promise Allah gave us

[2:31]this promise that the true religion is going to be the last

[2:39]and the expanded religion in the world based on a very explicit

[2:46]and clear verses of the Quran we all all we are uh

[2:54]were given a promise from Allah subhana wa ta'ala that your religion

[3:01]is going to be the last and the most spreaded [Music] religion

[3:18]this Ayah is in Surah 33 in this Ayah clearly Allah said

[3:28]he is the one who sent his messenger with guidance and the

[3:32]religion of the truth I mean your religion okay the religion of

[3:39]the truth to make it Prevail over all religion okay so if

[3:48]we want to know what is going to help Allah subhanahu wa

[3:52]ta'ala to reach to This Promise then we need some certain factors

[4:00]we we need some certain like tools to give us an opportunity

[4:08]or a potential to be able to spread this religion and this

[4:13]religion to be like Prevail all over the world there are many

[4:18]factors there are many like uh things can help Allah subhana wa

[4:26]ta'ala in this area but two of these factors are the most

[4:32]important one without either two the of this we are not able

[4:37]to reach to This Promise of Allah this okay this promise of

[4:47]Allah it's needed this two the first of these two factors is

[4:52]the leadership IM okay without AMA there there is no any chance

[5:05]for a any religion or anything to be spreaded to we expand

[5:10]around the world and that is why Allah subhana wa ta'ala gave

[5:16]us so many opportunities so many chances 124,000 prophets they all came

[5:26]just to lead the community to the right path why because Allah

[5:31]wanted his religion to be expanded in the world step by step

[5:39]one by one up to the end of the story our great

[5:42]prophet he was the last leader so in the time of the

[5:49]Prophet Sall alaih wasallam he is the leader and according to what

[5:55]we know that in the system of the leadership in in Quran

[6:02]we will see the word of V so wherever there is a

[6:05]word of it refers to this kind of leadership so Allah subhana

[6:12]wa tala says so in this Ayah when Allah says indeed your

[6:32]Val means your leader okay so there is no doubt we have

[6:36]so many other Ayah that clearly tells us that in the time

[6:43]of the prophet he is the responsible so he is uh has

[6:49]been given this opportunity to lead the community but who is responsible

[6:56]to lead the community in our own time I don't want to

[6:59]continue from the time of the prophet and the time of the

[7:03]Im aliam so we know all just very quickly just want to

[7:05]come to the end in our time do we need this leadership

[7:11]or not definitely we need the leadership but we do not have

[7:17]the prophet s we do not have IM Ali we do not

[7:24]have other who is going to be the right person for the

[7:28]leadership of course in that case is only someone who is the

[7:32]closest to Allah subhah wa ta'ala and his messenger is the qualified

[7:41]person to be called as a leader for an Islamic umah and

[7:45]unfortunately this person because of lack of the Readiness from the people

[7:54]this person is is in like this person is according to even

[8:06]the Hadi of the Prophet is in his Hadith the prophet said

[8:20]so of this is from us so I don't want to to

[8:31]uh translate this Ayah because you know you're familiar with the Arabic

[8:36]so this is the first one so the first factor for Islam

[8:40]to be spreaded in the world to be expanded in the world

[8:45]is the leadership what about the second things the second things which

[8:52]is very important it's the presence of faithful and devoted human Souls

[8:58]if we we do not have devoted human Source devoted like faithful

[9:05]M men if we do not have even the leader cannot do

[9:09]anything we have this story for 13 years the prophet sallallah alaih

[9:17]wasam he was in Mecca he was a prophet there was no

[9:23]any doubt in M of his prophecy okay but the people were

[9:26]not ready to help he was not able to establish the government

[9:32]when he went to Medina when he migrated to Medina and got

[9:36]the help the support from the people of Medina then he was

[9:41]able to establish this government IM aliam 25 years he was IM

[9:49]there was no doubt in his the Mas legitimacy of his like

[9:55]IM but the Readiness of the people the help of the people

[9:59]the support of the people were not there so Imam was not

[10:04]able to establish his Islamic government but at the end of the

[10:10]like time when people gave their Readiness gave their support IM was

[10:17]able to establish the government now for almost [Music] 1,150 years more

[10:26]or less our Imam is in occultation is in we can't see

[10:31]him we can't touch him we can't talk to him why is

[10:35]there any problem in his Mas of his imama is the legitimacy

[10:41]of imama definitely there is no doubt that he is IM whether

[10:43]he's in the age of five or in the age of 1,150

[10:47]there is no doubt so why he is not able to establish

[10:53]the the government which is promised to establish this because of the

[11:02]lack of the second factor which is the presence of faithful and

[11:07]devoted human Source people now we are here to say to our

[11:17]Imam that oh IM we are ready we are ready to support

[11:23]you we are ready to help you we are ready to give

[11:25]you whatever you want but one of the simple thing which we

[11:32]have to ask ourself that what is the uh the characteristics of

[11:41]IM then we see our own characteristics we compare our own characteristics

[11:50]with the characteristics of this Noble personality what is the uh like

[11:57]how do we describe the characteristics of this Noel amount this is

[12:02]one of the most important things which we have to talk and

[12:09]we have to like uh solve our problem because we always re

[12:13]claim that okay if tomorrow is is going to come our our

[12:22]support is ready or not what is what would be our reaction

[12:26]when Imam comes are we really like uh true person in his

[12:36]like word in his eyes when he is going to watch to

[12:41]us said oh this person is the right person because his characteristics

[12:46]is exactly the same as what I needed and this person is

[12:56]not how when we can help ourself to know that what what

[13:02]kind of personalities Imam needs so in that case one of the

[13:07]best way to find our own situation and to find our own

[13:13]or to solve our own problem is to look at to some

[13:15]of the Rat some of the like the narration and check the

[13:20]characteristics of the saat of Imam and then bring it and apply

[13:29]thisat this characteristic to ourself to see is there any compatibility we

[13:37]have this Ayah so every person they should compare themselves with their

[13:52]IM if the action it's like merge with the action of the

[13:56]Imam is look like the action of the Imam but if the

[14:03]action is against the action of the IM then they have to

[14:08]think about themselves so regarding the description or uh like characteristics of

[14:15]IM we have some certain one of the like very C clearly

[14:22]tell that the person who claim that he is ready to be

[14:31]a soldier of this great personality he should be uh like he

[14:36]should have a like a perfect knowledge regarding this person regarding this

[14:44]IM if you have no enough knowledge regarding your Imam then how

[14:48]you're going to like give your support your help to such a

[14:56]great personality for example if today you want to help somebody and

[15:00]you do not know anything about that person so anybody can claim

[15:04]that I am that person you are going to give give me

[15:08]help so that is why the the first things the first characteristic

[15:16]which we need is that one they possess the necessary recognition and

[15:22]knowledge of this great personality this amount and actually this like uh

[15:32]terms or this it's been mentioned in the Hadith of IM hsein

[15:38]and the Hadith of IM Hussein Alam he uh emphasized that the

[15:45]necessity of the recognition recognition uh of the Imam IM of the

[15:50]time he said you know the meaning of this Allah did not

[16:09]created anybody except to know him okay if people they are able

[16:20]to know definitely they are going to worship him if they worship

[16:28]Allah so they feel that there is no need to worship anybody

[16:31]else okay then when Imam said reached to this point somebody came

[16:44]and said how we are going to know Allah subh what is

[16:57]the [Music] if you want to know your lord your Allah subhah

[17:07]wa ta'ala if you want to have a regarding Allah subhana wa

[17:12]taala first you have to know your IM okay this Hadith in

[17:18]the time of IM Hussein refer to IM Imam Hussein in the

[17:21]time of the Prophet refers to the prophet s Al wasam and

[17:28]the time of the other goes back to them but regarding us

[17:32]who is our IM we claim that we are ready to to

[17:39]give our support to Imam do we know him enough how much

[17:47]we are aware about his situation how much we have knowledge about

[17:53]his position I mean do we know how uh like feel uh

[17:59]how bad he feel feel sometime regarding our own action or our

[18:03]community's action or the Islamic world's action do we know do do

[18:07]we have enough knowledge in this case or not so if you

[18:12]want to know if you want to present or give your support

[18:18]to your IM first you have to have enough knowledge about your

[18:21]IM and the knowledge of the am it doesn't mean that you

[18:25]have to know who is his father and mother brother sister no

[18:29]you have to be fully aware about his mission because the mission

[18:35]of the Imam is the cause of his creation Imam was not

[18:41]created just to be IM and not doing anything else no Imam

[18:50]was created because he was like supposed to receive a big mission

[18:55]and then to fulfill his mission and we know Imam cannot fulfill

[19:00]his mission with the people so the the knowledge of the im

[19:09]mean is the knowledge knowing about the mission of your IM are

[19:13]we fully aware about his mission what he's going to do next

[19:18]the second characteristics because I don't want to take too much of

[19:25]time time is going fast they should be Pious and God-fearing m

[19:29]a narration I mean so many narration from all and one of

[19:35]the narration comes from IM he says anyone who re anyone who

[19:45]loves to be called as a companion of IM he should wait

[19:59]so he should be M first in okay he should wait okay

[20:06]and then act with piety and good ethics such a person is

[20:15]a true waiter true weight person the best or the true Mona

[20:18]is the one whose action is based on ta so the companion

[20:27]of the Imam cannot be a person who is far from tawa

[20:31]what is tawa everybody knows and we we have heard a lot

[20:37]about tawa the very simple meaning of tawa means you should not

[20:44]be seen in a place that Allah doesn't want you to be

[20:46]there and you should be seen in a place that Allah wants

[20:50]you to be there this is the real meaning of tawa in

[20:53]some certain place you know in some certain like situation you know

[20:58]that that Allah doesn't want you to be there or doesn't want

[21:02]you to say this or doesn't want you to do this act

[21:07]if you did if you follow the word of Allah means you're

[21:10]M if in some certain place if you know that Allah wants

[21:15]you to be there wants you to say this wants you to

[21:20]do this if you do this then you are so the soldier

[21:22]the compan real companion of Imam is this person has this characteristics

[21:32]and the third one they always feel as if they are in

[21:42]the presence of his Eminence his his like Holiness what does it

[21:48]mean means always they should feel they are in the in the

[21:51]presence of Imam there are three minutes uh three meaning for this

[22:00]at least when you are going to when when you feel you

[22:04]are in the presence of of some great personality definitely always you're

[22:11]way you are like uh careful about your action isn't it if

[22:15]you know that you're sitting with in some certain place that's some

[22:20]great personality some Mar some some likee president or some some like

[22:25]Authority are there and you feel that they are watching you you

[22:31]always you careful about your action okay and you do not say

[22:34]anything you do not uh like eat anything you do not do

[22:39]anything you just always careful the companion asab of Imam always should

[22:46]think that they are in the presence of IM if we feel

[22:52]like this then always our action is going to uh be like

[22:57]under the control of ourself because we think our Imam is watching

[23:01]us the second meaning for this if you are in the presence

[23:08]of a great great personality it means that anytime you have an

[23:13]an access with his power of his knowledge okay if you feel

[23:19]you are in the presence of Imam it means you have a

[23:22]full access of the knowledge and the power of this IM what

[23:29]is our situation everybody can check themselves do we have such a

[23:35]like feeling and another meaning of being in the presence of IM

[23:48]it means we should make ourself in a way we should present

[23:51]ourself in a way that whenever he said oh Mr fan are

[23:57]you ready to go there we should say yes because we are

[23:59]we feel we are in the presence of Imam if we are

[24:03]in the presence of IM say for example in the in that

[24:09]case okay please send m a Miss fand to some certain Mission

[24:14]are we ready if we are in the presence of IM in

[24:17]every single minute or second we have to be ready for his

[24:24]command for his mission this is one of the characteristics of a

[24:27]comp banion of Imam and actually we have uh some and some

[24:37]regarding this like characteristics we have this had from the prophet it

[25:02]means for us there should not be any difference than he is

[25:09]in or in because we feel we are in the presence of

[25:16]him whether just like a sun behind the clouds we have to

[25:20]be able to benefit from his new his light if we are

[25:26]like this then we can claim that we are the companion of

[25:29]but unfortunately 99% of our Shia Community including me myself we are

[25:41]not in that capacity we are not in that that category and

[25:44]that is why still 313 people were not ready otherwise IM would

[25:50]come because according to the Hadi the first zone of His companion

[25:57]is 330 and then 10,000 and then next Z like 50,000 more

[26:07]or less but why still is not there and and of course

[26:11]there are so many other the time is over the uh last

[26:17]characteristics of this great personality is that that their speech and behavior

[26:25]should be akin to that of IM means my behavior should be

[26:34]like a keen or look like the action of IM Al as

[26:36]I said to you my action will be judge with the action

[26:45]of my Imam the behavior of the Imam and that is why

[26:53]some of the some ofi clearly especially from IM says if we

[27:12]want to if we want to claim that we are the follower

[27:19]the true follower of Imam M True Companion of IM m al

[27:22]and our support and our help is ready for Imam Mahi so

[27:26]Imam is going to check our Behavior to his own behavior is

[27:32]it matched or not if it's matched okay he's happy with us

[27:39]and he will come but if it's not matched so we are

[27:45]going we are going to disgrace him not only we are not

[27:47]His companion we are going to disgrace him this is not fair

[27:55]there is a there's a person his name is in the actually

[28:00]this person it was in the time of IM s uh his

[28:10]his name was uh Shak he was in the time of manik

[28:17]one day this Shak one of the companion of like let's say

[28:25]im s he was waiting for an opportunity to claim his right

[28:30]through I mean uh he went to the like let's say the

[28:39]place of the government to receive his like share for example from

[28:45]B Mal let's say today we say benefits okay so he was

[28:52]going to claim his penion or benefit or anything can be called

[28:56]and he was not able to receive it it for any reason

[29:02]then he was so upset waiting for an opportunity to claim his

[29:07]right through U like intercession shaf then IM he was walking around

[29:13]and he saw this person he came to Imam s and said

[29:18]this person doesn't give my right here and Imam went inside talked

[29:26]a bit and then said to that person this is like a

[29:33]right person so give his right so he got the right of

[29:34]this person gave it to him look at to the word of

[29:41]Imam regarding this things IM said oh sh Good Deeds are good

[29:50]from anybody look to this word good action good good things okay

[29:58]good from anybody but they are better from you because you are

[30:05]associated with us good is Good from everybody but it's better from

[30:09]you if you do because you are connected to us you considered

[30:16]as a Shia and then Imam said bad is bad from every

[30:19]bad did okay or ugly did is bad from everybody but it's

[30:26]worse from you because you are associated with me with us because

[30:31]you call yourself as a Shia so if this Hadith can be

[30:39]a great example to all of us our action if it's good

[30:41]alhamdulillah good but if it's good it's going to be Z for

[30:48]but if it is bad it's going to be shame we are

[30:54]not going to be shame or we are not going to disgrace

[31:01]him because we claim that we are companion of his the great

[31:05]this great personality so if we want to know as a conclusion

[31:11]if we want to know are we really ready to to present

[31:14]to give our support to him look look at your own characteristics

[31:22]these characteristics are like applicable to that what I said through the

[31:28]Hadith of Imam or not if it match if not please and

[31:35]go back to yourself and ask Allah subhah wa ta'ala to give

[31:40]you an opportunity to do Toba and to prepare yourself to to

[31:48]ready your your support for this great IM may Allah give us

[31:54]to be a good servant of him and to be a good

[32:01]follower of this great personality and uh re I mean hesitant to

[32:05]his and inshah we all would be a good companion of this

[68:09]for this next segment we will be having a talk from Dr

[68:16]RZA vidadi um just a short biography about him he's a distinguished

[68:20]uh director and producer in uh London independent documentary uh industry he's

[68:27]directed and produced you know over 40 50 documentaries uh that delve

[68:32]into the uh West Asian and Muslim identity uh he holds a

[68:38]master's degree in Film Production and a PhD uh and his academic

[68:44]research has focused on the intersection of so sociopolitical Dynamics um inshallah

[68:50]the topic of today's title would be from samur to Hollywood and

[68:56]IM in the modern world so without further Ado let's welcome Dr

[69:04]radi with a loud muham muhamad for oh I'm in the way

[70:04]no problem alayum I'll sry for a few minutes of delay we

[71:02]were just trying to figure out technical issues connecting the laptop I

[71:09]want to thank LF and the um wonderful um organizers behind [Music]

[71:17]the organizers behind LF always working hard to I'll let them fix

[71:27]the [Music] sound maybe because we mooved the mess huh it's okay

[71:35]for me yeah you can all hear me yeah send a nice

[71:38]big salawat for me please okay so as I was saying I

[71:48]wanted to thank LF uh for organizing this I appreciate their efforts

[71:54]every week I know it's difficult to try and organize programs um

[71:58]every week is really really difficult so Mah uh big thanks to

[72:04]you guys today's uh program you already had a lecture very difficult

[72:09]to follow uh on a lecture so this will be hopefully more

[72:12]of a discussion and if there's any parts anyone wants to say

[72:15]something put your hand up we can have that kind of a

[72:20]discussion inshallah and I hope that you go away at the end

[72:22]of it um just thinking about your relationship with IM Zaman maybe

[72:28]in a new way so that you can build on that inshallah

[72:29]because I think it's one of the most important relationships that any

[72:32]of us could have I think this microphone isn't like is it

[72:39]so today's um program is going to be covered uh in kind

[72:45]of like six stages so we'll do a quick introduction of the

[72:49]political situation in SRA this is the place where Imam Mahi he

[72:54]was was born and where his father was and where his uh

[72:58]grandfather is also buried we all have the to go and do

[73:02]Zara there and his mother is buried there then we'll go on

[73:04]to the uh miraculous birth of the Imam and then how that

[73:12]led to these occultation the the time where he goes into minor

[73:15]occultation and then there's the major occultation which we'll discuss and then

[73:19]IMI in some Sunni traditions because we always think that IM just

[73:24]to the Shia I would go as far as saying that IMI

[73:27]doesn't even belong just to Muslims right they have their quote up

[73:32]up there where it says so whoever loves Allah loves doesn't say

[73:40]whoever loves Allah and his rasool and the 11 imams so and

[73:44]we can think about that later on as well how can we

[73:47]connect Ami and when Isa Prophet Jesus arrives how is that message

[73:55]for us to when we discuss the topic of Imam M who's

[73:56]a savior that discussed within all religions with other people then there's

[74:02]quranic references to Imam mhi and uh how Imam Mahi may have

[74:09]been seen by some outside of our kind of like uh Arabic

[74:12]Iranian Pakistani Shia uh communities and how is Imam Mahi been seen

[74:19]in the modern culture so Imam Mahi uh when he so Sam

[74:25]was a capital for a while of the abas abas was after

[74:29]omay they ruled for hundreds of years and they moved the capital

[74:32]to there it was a nice cool the place where the capital

[74:37]was was surrounded by rivers and Greenery when you go there now

[74:40]it's not near anything so when you go to visit takes you

[74:44]2 three hours to get there you always in carala you never

[74:45]stayed the night in Sam anyone stays the night they go quick

[74:48]Zara and then you come back on the way maybe you go

[74:51]to IM mus kazm and IM and then you quickly come back

[74:57]to car so almost like there's two imams there right it's not

[75:00]even just one mum it's two imams so you have two imams

[75:03]that you just do a quick Zara and come back so he's

[75:06]Papa in that area and it's still surrounded by a lot of

[75:11]um non Shia residents right so at that time the the Abbasid

[75:14]ruled they moved their Capital to there from bdad and it was

[75:20]the center of power so then they brought the Imam and they

[75:22]kept his father imami and his father of Grandfather IMI and IM

[75:31]H Asar were kept in Sam because they they had been prophesized

[75:35]12s so Brothers say 12 imams we say will come so if

[75:40]they had already calculated IM Ali to IM Hassan asari they knew

[75:45]that from Hassan hasari is going to be the 12th and when

[75:47]he comes is going to be the downfall and we see this

[75:50]played in in previous historical um context that if you remember uh

[75:55]Na Musa Prophet Moses when he was born Fon was warned that

[76:00]a child would come and he will be the destruction of your

[76:04]of your rulership and so anyone who had a boy who his

[76:07]their child would be executed and uh so then his mother puts

[76:13]him in a basket and puts him so this is uh repeated

[76:17]in history but then if God will something it's going to happen

[76:20]yeah so that's another thing unfortunately the the rulle is never learned

[76:24]from their um previous historical examples Theif at that time was Abasi

[76:32]and all of them were really cruel really like horrible horrible rulers

[76:36]it wasn't like there's this idea within um Western Academia and and

[76:42]and amongst our Sunni brothers that Abasi was the golden golden reign

[76:48]of Islam golden Reign for who it's like saying you know make

[76:51]America greater again Mega but for who because cuz when it was

[76:54]great everyone was in slavery or Muslims didn't have the B basically

[77:00]non- whites didn't have the permission to become citizens it's only in

[77:04]the last 30 40 50 60 years that if you are Muslim

[77:08]or if you nonwhite you were able to get American citizenship so

[77:11]make it great for who so who was it great for it

[77:15]was definitely wasn't great for the Shar or those who followed the

[77:17]the the school of a also round about at that time we

[77:26]would have had the FID Empire in Egypt so there was a

[77:30]sheia power however it was is so they didn't accept IM Hassan

[77:38]asari as an IM so they took is who was the son

[78:02]lot of the companions of the uh of the Imam their companionship

[78:05]with the Imam was in secret so amongst all of this all

[78:11]of this uh you know they say that CCTV everywhere they had

[78:17]you know eyes of CCTV of people even the companions of he

[78:20]couldn't trust some of his companions could you know they would s

[78:23]him out he a child had to come into the world in

[78:25]a miraculous way that no one would know about so Imam M's

[78:37]birth um some some say in the Quran that say maram when

[78:44]she had Prophet Jesus she was only pregnant for a few days

[78:50]few hours or few months okay and so it happened really quickly

[78:54]you can make these arguments about Imam M's birth was it miraculous

[78:58]was it overnight but it's it's not really relevant we know that

[79:03]he was born because IM hassar his father introduced him to some

[79:05]Companions and then what where we discuss is he came uh later

[79:11]on we'll see how he showed that he this person is is

[79:13]the Imam so his mother some say was from Rome descendant of

[79:18]one of the companions of prophet Isa some say he was from

[79:23]she was from North Africa um it depends what what you know

[79:27]which side of the race card some people fall on but it's

[79:32]irrelevant right we know that his mom was a good person a

[79:33]special person to be chosen to have the dream to come IM

[79:38]Hass asari to be then become the mother of IM Hass imami

[79:43]so it's not really uh too important I remember a guy approached

[79:46]me once to make a documentary about uh Sayes and he had

[79:51]done so much research to prove the C castle that she even

[79:53]lived in in in which is now Italy would have been Rome

[79:57]and he wanted to you know raise the funds to you know

[80:00]shoot it and it was really adamant that's fine I mean maybe

[80:02]he genuinely believed it but unfortunately some of us prefer for her

[80:06]to be from that side than from Africa but again so that

[80:11]was the mother she she's buried now in Samra so Hass asari

[80:18]also taught even though within the confines and he didn't have uh

[80:22]the ability like ja to have thousands of students he will continue

[80:26]to still teach um there's the works ofar attributed to him and

[80:34]you know all the other problems that would arise within the Muslim

[80:38]Shia Community from all around of the Muslim empire from from Iran

[80:42]Persia Froman from bdad from hij from North Africa wherever she is

[80:47]where they will still come and ask for guidance and seek guidance

[80:52]but the the sh Community was not in a strong position politically

[80:55]right it was very very weak and So within that comes the

[81:05]savior of humanity within that kind of situation and so one of

[81:11]the most important things that occurred would be so a lot of

[81:15]a lot of our Sunny Brothers right now make fun of us

[81:19]for right if you were if you Shia here no problem no

[81:21]more can say anything to you cu you have the authority of

[81:25]the law to protect you right but if you're in a country

[81:30]where they're looking to kill and in some places uh they would

[81:33]bury you in the basement in the in the foundation of the

[81:35]mosque that they were going to build or they would kill you

[81:39]and put you into the walls and then put bricks around you

[81:40]this is how you know evil these people were hated the the

[81:46]followers of IM Ali how much hatred they had proper NY towards

[81:49]if you're in that kind of situation of course you're going to

[81:55]do right and it's incumbent upon you to do so it was

[81:57]that kind of situation that the IM would come into IM is

[82:02]born miraculously in the in the he's born and um uh the

[82:11]year he was born was on the 15th of shaan uh 255

[82:16]I believe after hij so it's almost two and a half centuries

[82:19]after the Hijra of the holy prophet it's a long time like

[82:23]we say oh my grandfather that was like 40 years ago right

[82:26]50 years ago this is more than this is like you know

[82:31]two you know very difficult to have understanding of what how the

[82:34]holy prophet you know now we have images and videos from 100

[82:39]years ago so we can try and understand a little bit more

[82:41]back then whatever Islam was taught to the people that would you

[82:44]know in the in the member that's why didn't think they knew

[82:46]they didn't have access to Internet so they couldn't research anything before

[82:49]whatever is in front of them so so so the mom comes

[82:53]into a situation like that and his aunt Hakim she plays a

[83:00]very important role she's the one who guides his mother as she's

[83:03]giving birth and explaining to her all the processes and everything cuz

[83:05]a mother someone who came to Islam later on wasn't born in

[83:10]Islam wouldn't be aware of a lot of the stuff right so

[83:14]she was looked after by the sister of IM Hassan asari the

[83:16]aunt of IM Mei and as explained before his his birth was

[83:23]hidden so after he was born because because the um soldiers of

[83:30]the uh the Abbasid ruler they would come into the house of

[83:32]the Imam and these are supposed to be Muslims right they they're

[83:36]not like some non abrahamic they're Muslims so they would come into

[83:41]the home and you know he would have to ask them bear

[83:45]with me so my my uh the woman folk in my home

[83:47]can put their clothes on and we see this now in what's

[83:49]happening in in Palestine and it really upsets us so imagine your

[83:53]Imam they will come and disrespect him like that and so she

[83:55]would have to hide her pregnancy for that amount of time that

[83:57]she was pregnant again another part of the miracle then when the

[84:02]baby is born you have to hide a baby and not only

[84:05]are you hiding a baby but when the baby cries when they're

[84:07]hungry or the baby cries because they need to be changed I

[84:09]have a baby she constantly cries cuz I after kids constantly give

[84:14]her snacks now imagine you're in that situation then constantly these soldiers

[84:17]come in and you don't know when or you don't know where

[84:19]so another miracle is how he survived and when the Imam introduced

[84:23]IM to his companions he didn't introduce him to all his companions

[84:27]cuz I said as I said earlier some of them are untrustworthy

[84:30]they're hired by the khif by the rulers to be a spy

[84:36]on the Imam so he would have to know who to um

[84:39]introduce Imam M to so they know that after he passes away

[84:43]it's not going to be his uncle which we'll discuss later or

[84:48]someone else that says no I'm the Imam they would have to

[84:51]know there is an IM already ready who it is how it

[84:54]is and so forth and so that would have to be done

[84:56]in secret as well and obviously IMI raised to the age of

[85:03]five I think when imar raised IMI so he would impart the

[85:07]knowledge of of the imams to him and so forth he couldn't

[85:11]go to a regular school like we could he couldn't be sent

[85:14]to a um because I know some of Imam Hassan and IM

[85:16]Hussein Alam Ali would send them to other teachers to learn from

[85:20]as well he couldn't do that because if he did that it

[85:21]would be known that he has the son so forth and then

[85:24]that would be a problem so Hassan hasar had to impart all

[85:27]his knowledge to him and prepare him for a at such a

[85:31]young age and sometimes some of my brothers say well how is

[85:37]it that okay let's pretend that we accept imama how could it

[85:39]be IM at five to have that ability to to be that

[85:45]important Ro after his father passes away the representative of God we

[85:52]have in the Quran that Isa was only a few days old

[85:55]when he was speaking to the people full conversation in the Quran

[86:01]so so there's these things to bear in mind as well when

[86:05]we think of um IMI as he's growing up and then his

[86:11]father is mared passes mared and passes away I think he was

[86:18]ill for a few days and then um his uncle comes to

[86:19]say I'm his name is Jaffer so the brother imar he says

[86:24]I'm the IM now so he goes to lead the prayer of

[86:28]IM and then this young man comes out of nowhere most people

[86:31]didn't know about him and pushes him aside and then leads the

[86:35]prayer and then that's how people will know the rest of the

[86:39]people that there is an IM and it's not Jaffa who became

[86:41]known as Jaffa the liar right and so um he declares himself

[86:48]and then we know the story he goes into the basement the

[86:50]sard the sah and from then on he go goes into the

[86:56]of uh the short cation which lasts for several decades he has

[86:59]four representatives and he communicates to the people through letters through these

[87:03]four and then when the last one passes away there's no more

[87:09]letters and it's from then on anyone who says that I have

[87:11]communication directly with imami is a liar so he may communicate with

[87:19]us but we won't tell anyone because he only communicates with people

[87:23]like his father he could trust who won't come out say I'm

[87:25]his representative or have a letter from him or I meet him

[87:29]or he told me to do this or he some of our

[87:31]Maraj or some of our sages who are not even Maraj may

[87:33]know of and speak communicate with him maybe through writing not necessarily

[87:37]sit down and have a full conversation or Whatsapp or whatever but

[87:41]there may be forms of communication it could be dreams Alam or

[87:44]whatever but anyone who says oh I have a full conver full

[87:48]uh cuz sometimes you see them on YouTube now guy says yeah

[87:50]this person that I know in our family he's he's the representative

[87:53]of IMI he's Yemen he's this he's that all of these people

[87:58]are lies no matter how much they try to impress you with

[88:00]certain amount of knowledge or understanding or whatever it's all false so

[88:04]we have to bear that in mind and there was um when

[88:09]I was researching there was many occasions numerous occasions which I have

[88:13]it in here that people came to say we the IM one

[88:18]of the last famous one was in 1979 when two 300 uh

[88:24]um people took over the masam and it took two weeks for

[88:29]the security forces to get rid of you know kill them and

[88:31]get rid of them obviously many as people got killed as well

[88:35]and it's happened before that and then we had um from the

[88:39]um the ahmedi uh group of Muslims who he came he said

[88:44]I'm I'm Isa and I'm not even I'm one he say I'm

[88:46]Isa and I'm both of them in me so we have and

[88:50]they have big group now and they still continue so this this

[88:55]this is not new and also the bab who became the bah

[88:56]in Iran he initially came and said I'm the m so he

[89:01]also came and said I'm thei M there's one m in India

[89:06]and we have one in Iran and uh you know so all

[89:09]of these keep happening and they will happen more and people will

[89:11]try to pretend as we get closer to the Z so we

[89:15]have to be vigilant of that it's good alhamdulillah some good some

[89:20]good lectur said Hussein mcki recently did a I think 10 minute

[89:25]15 minute video if you want to know what the signs are

[89:28]to look for when the Imam comes we know what to look

[89:33]for it's in there so you can see that now is also

[89:40]mentioned in uh our Sunni Brothers um um books right so he's

[89:50]mentioned in let's have a quick uh look at how they see

[89:53]IMI so they don't see that IM was born from IM hassar

[89:57]to them we don't know when he's going to be born maybe

[89:58]he's born now maybe he's not we don't know that's the first

[90:02]thing they say but they also accept that he's descendant of the

[90:05]holy prophet through say the fa through Hassan or Hussein some some

[90:10]of them say im Hassan some say im Hussein but this is

[90:13]also accept as well so there's the similarities they also accept that

[90:17]he will come their judgment and he's the most Pious of all

[90:21]Muslims they also accept that they don't NE have the same concept

[90:23]as mum like we do but they accept that he's going to

[90:27]be the closest to God they also accept that when Isa comes

[90:30]who is mum they don't disagree with because he's a prophet he

[90:32]will pray behind him so that also they accept so so far

[90:38]so good alhamdulillah even some of the famous Scholars like Al gazali

[90:48]and some other Scholars who they also refer to him and his

[90:51]piousness and his pity some of them focus on his uh more

[90:59]like AAA role like a worldly rule some focus on his spiritual

[91:02]rule is the Shia mainly that say he comes with both Authority

[91:08]on both complete political and complete spiritual like IM Ali and all

[91:12]the other IMS unfortunately the other imams they could not uh administer

[91:17]the political side because of uh political controversies they also expect when

[91:25]imami comes Justice will be brought the world is full of turmoil

[91:28]as it is now maybe it will get worse it won't but

[91:32]it will get worse so they also accept that when he comes

[91:35]things will be fixed so we have some Hadith in some of

[91:45]their books and as you know the sunnis have six books that

[91:52]are very important in the Hadith uh Corpus for them the one

[91:55]of them is the first one is bukari then it's Muslim and

[91:59]so forth so in sah Muslim there's this mention of so know

[92:03]there's this Hadith where we can see that on the day of

[92:07]judgment the son of Mary will descend and the leader of them

[92:09]will ask him to lead the prayers but Jesus Will decline so

[92:14]they accept that Jesus will say no I can't lead the prayer

[92:16]Jesus will say no verily among you Allah has made leaders for

[92:21]and has bestowed his Bounty upon them so when he says leaders

[92:25]here we know it doesn't mean there's going to be multiple people

[92:28]leading the prayer he's trying to use the leaders as in you

[92:30]know the Arabic term of polite of um uh politeness of the

[92:36]plural right so but here because of I don't want to use

[92:42]the word Amity but the problem that sahkari and Muslim these Scholars

[92:45]had with the they really find it hard to use the word

[92:51]for their for example and you see this inot of the Hadith

[92:53]are written so here he doesn't mention B Hadith other people do

[93:00]and has bestowed his Bounty upon them so here we can see

[93:04]that even the Sunni Scholars admit that IMI is above na Isa

[93:10]so when they come to us and say well how is it

[93:15]a 5-year-old can speak we say well that person that you accept

[93:19]in your Hadith books is in front of na Isa for prayer

[93:23]We Believe has also Allah can give him the ability to speak

[93:25]at a young age and do certain things right you yourself say

[93:33]he's better than him in your own Hadith books by the way

[93:37]I'm not trying to encourage you to go out and challenge Sun

[93:39]there not I'm saying for your own understanding that what you believe

[93:45]in is based on strong pillars and Foundations we as she do

[93:49]not invent things and then bring it and then try to see

[93:51]if it sticks on the wall it's based in Foundation from Foundation

[93:54]it grows and that's why it's easier for us to find arguments

[93:58]even on the spot sometimes no one told you the argument but

[94:00]when you think about it oh this is one reason as well

[94:04]right because it's based in Foundation you don't need to go and

[94:07]think about how can I get out of this loophole where there's

[94:10]a there's a hole in my argument how can I fill it

[94:12]because we're not we we don't have that kind of argument our

[94:15]argument is that the holy prophet appointed according to Quran and Sunnah

[94:18]and this is what he's done and we follow it and it's

[94:21]makes sense another of the scholars uh Ahmed which is the IM

[94:27]of the one of the four maab schools they have he he

[94:32]clarifies in in Hadith that Allah will bring out from concealment Ali

[94:36]from my family so this is the holy prophet and just before

[94:42]the day of judgment even if if only one day were to

[94:44]remain in the life of the world so this act is so

[94:49]important within for Allah subhana tala that even if there's one day

[94:53]left which after one day it doesn't matter he has to do

[94:56]he will do this he will do this act of bringing IM

[94:59]this is how important it is and so when they say to

[95:02]you oh why is it not mentioned in the Quran if it's

[95:07]important but according to the Hadith of uh Sunni uh Brothers Scholars

[95:10]it says it's so important that if it's one day left he

[95:12]will do it and then we'll get to the a of the

[95:15]Quran where this backs of this Hadith and he will bring equity

[95:24]and eradicate tyranny and oppression in so this isari which is the

[95:30]most revered book after the Quran for a Sunni Brothers right so

[95:36]they have the Quran and next to it will be sah here

[95:40]uh it's narrated from the holy prophet peace be upon him who

[95:45]said what would be your situation if the son of Mary Prophet

[95:48]Jesus descends upon you and your Imam is among you who is

[95:56]going to follow him what's your situation what how do you think

[96:00]about him so even we can see in this most important book

[96:02]for our Sunni brothers that he's an IM and his relationship to

[96:10]the relationship of Na Isa is important what do you know about

[96:12]this so you go and read other books and other Hadith to

[96:14]educate yourself as the so as I said uh uh both sh

[96:28]and Sunni except the lineage is important for IMI he comes from

[96:33]the holy prophet through S fa and his role is the restorer

[96:44]of Justice not metap metaphorical but actual justice so if there's Injustice

[96:48]going on as it is now he will fix that it's not

[96:51]going to be he brings the idea like you know the bah

[96:54]or he came he went he brought the idea of justice is

[96:58]now it's our time to administer no he will administer it yes

[97:01]people will assist him as said mus said first 313 and then

[97:05]10,000 and then 50,000 inshallah we're at least in one of those

[97:09]not even the first the second at least the last one right

[97:11]or maybe the Servants of the 50,000 but what's important is that

[97:17]he will administer he will and we got to the verse of

[97:20]the Quran that also confirms this it won't be just an idea

[97:22]so this is important because you as an individual who lives in

[97:29]the UK knows all of this and we have this is popular

[97:31]at the moment they say what would you do during the time

[97:37]of uh slavery and Holocaust is what you're doing now what would

[97:41]you do when IMI appears is what you're doing now a lot

[97:45]of people like no no no no no when he comes that's

[97:48]it that's when I'm going to get into action it's like sometimes

[97:53]our youth they say no when I find the right wife I'll

[97:55]be my Dean I will pray I'll do all my fast I'll

[97:58]do du come every Thursday I'll be at LF but once you

[98:03]get married you're like ah this person nags me all the time

[98:07]have you woken up for f so that thing that you thought

[98:11]they're going to encourage you to do becomes a nag and this

[98:13]person that you thought you're going to end up loving becomes someone

[98:15]that starts annoying you because you didn't prepare yourself for it so

[98:21]no matter what we think we have to live as if he's

[98:27]just he's he's literally in this da with us right now you

[98:29]know when we go to visit IM Ali like Ali if I

[98:33]was there the time of you know in kufa when you needed

[98:38]me IM husin would cry we cry if I was there well

[98:40]lives in this world with us and if I can't see him

[98:46]is because there's something wrong with me because he can see me

[98:52]right IMI right now is sitting looking to see who is doing

[98:58]what from the yenes and thean and the Sham and arq he's

[99:04]seeing who his people are he doesn't need to come say oh

[99:07]he's he's making notes this person this person this group of people

[99:10]this movement this organization these are the people I can trust cuz

[99:16]they act as if I'm there fine when he's there he will

[99:18]give his orders and we'll follow and so forth but they're acting

[99:21]as if he there not saying oh no no I'm going to

[99:22]stay in my or my and I'll you know do my religious

[99:27]duties and that's it and when he comes that's it when he

[99:31]gives the orders I'll get into action but will we are we

[99:33]going to excuse but I got the mortgage to S out I

[99:37]got my kids she's only two if I leave her she's going

[99:41]to become yam who's going to look after her my mom is

[99:43]old my dad is old I got a sister I got a

[99:47]brother I got this I got that all of these things will

[99:50]come up and Allah will test you and that's why one of

[99:52]the most important du I think we have is before you pray

[99:56]for the Z is pray that you have a righteous end because

[100:00]what if you pray for the Zur and you don't follow the

[100:06]IM that's going to be even worse test then if he wasn't

[100:08]here and you said no I'm going to do it so the

[100:12]righteous let me Allah have a righteous is from now how we

[100:17]act now amongst each other amongst things we do amongst preparation and

[100:22]I know it's difficult in this country because we're working in a

[100:26]country that doesn't necessarily um has Islamic values it has moral values

[100:32]alhamdulillah it has the freedom for us to gather and do stuff

[100:34]like that but it's not an Islamic country right and just to

[100:39]let everybody know who's watching the recording we're not trying to make

[100:42]it into Islamic country we don't have any Sharia planning this is

[100:44]not a secret Gathering what we're saying is we're working within the

[100:48]confines of the law and the or of this land to prepare

[100:54]ourselves for the Savior the Savior also includes na Isa it's not

[100:58]like oh Isa can you move out the way I want to

[101:01]go and see if Isa is there as well they kiss his

[101:06]hand as well cuz he's part of that movement he doesn't say

[101:07]okay you pray I'll see later I'm just going to take a

[101:11]flight I'm going to go and do some Zar he's like you

[101:12]leave the prayer I'm behind you and then we're behind IM Prophet

[101:17]Jesus right so we also prepare for that and that part of

[101:22]that is interacting with our Christian Brothers to say we have more

[101:25]in common let's work together these are things that we can work

[101:29]on not only do we believe in Prophet Jesus from when he

[101:33]was born and his miraculous birth and we have Miracles that you

[101:36]don't even have in your Bible that he speaks and so forth

[101:37]and so on but we actively look we're praying for his appearance

[101:43]because his appearance is part of the appearance of our savior so

[101:48]we're all praying for the same thing to the same God let's

[101:52]have a common discussion common dialogue that's part of how we can

[102:01]act and also this idea that how is it possible that a

[102:07]man can live from 1, 1,150 years ago to now but we

[102:13]have plenty of examples in the Quran we have the uh Prophet

[102:19]no at least minimum 950 years of prophethood some Hadi say he

[102:26]lived 2,500 years Isa lived since 2,000 years ago he's still alive

[102:30]Quran says we took him to heaven but then we took him

[102:34]dead they took him alive so he's still alive some people say

[102:39]is Prophet some people say he's not Prophet but he's still if

[102:42]he's not alive now he lived a very long time we also

[102:45]know that oh but these were prophets so everything is always like

[102:48]but these are prophets these are prophets who knows that Salman 100

[102:56]200 years who knows the story of not were they not not

[103:02]a prophet they weren't even imams they weren't even Imam of the

[103:06]Masid they were regular guys Allah kept them alive for how long

[103:11]over 300 years not only did he keep them alive he kept

[103:13]the dog that was with them alive so are you telling us

[103:18]that Allah wants it he can't keep descendant of the H prophet

[103:21]the one who's chosen in the Quran and in all the other

[103:24]Hadith to be alive he can keep him alive there's plenty of

[103:28]arguments we can bring for this kind of stuff but it's for

[103:31]your own for yourself especially the youngers when they have these kind

[103:37]of questions like okay Ali livei 1,400 years the best someone what

[103:41]did they use cryogenics to keep him alive what you know all

[103:46]of these things that will go because they live in a society

[103:48]where we think science isn't everything's science everything is material if he

[103:52]touch it he can hear it it's it's true but if I

[103:56]I don't understand it doesn't make sense it's too abstract how can

[103:58]it be Al how come no one seen him how come he

[104:01]hasn't bumped into anyone well how do you know he hasn't bumped

[104:03]into anyone how do you know people haven't seen him sometimes you

[104:06]know when they tell us a story oh I was stuck and

[104:10]this person came and then he did this and and for a

[104:11]minute I I look back and he's gone well how do we

[104:14]know that's not true we're willing to believe there's UFOs and God

[104:16]knows what else but we won't believe stories like that so imami

[104:22]is here and is part of your life is as I said

[104:24]earlier is what's preventing me from saying imami what have I put

[104:31]between my eyes Andi for him to be able to for me

[104:32]to be able to see him and so there's there's loads of

[104:36]traditions there those of verses in the Quran that speak about a

[104:42]a promise from Allah and we want to confer favor upon you

[104:45]upon those who are oppressed in the land and make them leaders

[104:50]and make them inheritors and we have already written in the Book

[104:54]of Psalms so this was the book of Z after the previous

[105:01]reminder that the land is inherited by the righteous servants I think

[105:04]the Christians have a don't if it's a verse from the Bible

[105:08]but it's something that they say that the the meek shall inherit

[105:13]the land ah it's metaphorical they're trying to say that if you're

[105:16]a good person God will give you Paradise I'm pretty pretty sure

[105:18]that this stuff is about this So eventually someone's going to come

[105:23]that is going to take his inheritance and he's going to take

[105:29]his rightful place and inshallah we're one of his followers and there's

[105:33]other verses from the Quran he it is he it is who

[105:38]has sent his messenger who being Allah with guidance and the religion

[105:42]of Truth to manifest it manifest it over all religion even though

[105:47]the polytheist May detest it is this like a metaphorical that Islam

[105:50]has come and it's so Superior that people eventually find it or

[105:54]no Allah is making a promise that eventually Islam or those who

[106:00]submit themselves to Allah through imami not because we want to do

[106:03]Jihad or anything like that we're uncapable otherwise it have been done

[106:06]before only when IMI comes the rule of Islam will be all

[106:12]over people right maybe this is the promise that we're talking about

[106:15]so then we have also now we come to a more modern

[106:19]time in the last few hundred years people different people I've just

[106:22]clicked together a few this is a king that lived in sind

[106:27]s would have been part of India North probably north of India

[106:29]mul area about 300 years ago so he was probably sh the

[106:34]way he describes Ami in his poetry my Lord my beloved my

[106:36]M my Majesty how long I bear this Injustice violence and cruelty

[106:42]from the Injustice the cruelty and the violence of kings and their

[106:47]Governors sounds really familiar like round about now time isn't it I'm

[106:51]standing at your door seeking your help against did I not put

[106:59]the last part there po against them sorry should say them this

[107:03]is this sounds like as if someone wrote it who lives inaz

[107:09]right now or lives in another part of the world there oppression

[107:13]taking place so this idea fori has been alive and it will

[107:18]be alive we have then people like Victor Hugo very famous French

[107:22]author one of the most famous they ever had and he talks

[107:26]about Imam Hussein in such a beautiful way then we have Johan

[107:34]ban van goth he's the most famous influential German writer and he

[107:38]describes Imam Hussein like this how sad that we as sh never

[107:43]introduced Imam M to them they only got up to Imam Hussein

[107:49]and that's because they had to work hard to translate things from

[107:53]Arabic and Iranian to German and French okay that was then we

[107:56]didn't have universities that translated it so from and so on but

[107:59]we do now what can we do as sheers to make IM

[108:04]um M happy with us is bring him to the people not

[108:09]expect the people to come to ausse and then introduce then we

[108:18]see like in the last 20 30 40 50 50 years is

[108:57]nuclear weapons and other he's able to do things like IM M

[109:02]but then at the end he says I'm God now you worship

[109:06]me which is what the Dalal does he fools people who don't

[109:09]have Bas who don't know whoi is to thinking he's there for

[109:13]them and then at the there's Muslims he fools as well forget

[109:16]non-muslims then at the end he says now you have to worship

[109:21]me they're like oh oh my God we just got tricked as

[111:16]happens and he's like okay I got to save the world no

[111:19]he was good he came from the best there was no there

[111:24]was no you know he was you know the film The guy

[111:29]like alcoholic he's a bad guy and then he becomes a prophet

[111:31]or becomes something good and he has to guide people and a

[111:33]miracle he able to heal people no was never like that from

[111:38]before he was good before he came to this world he was

[111:42]from good his lineage was from good all the way to Adam

[111:44]we don't have any of this oh he was bad and then

[111:47]one day he became good we don't have any of that but

[111:51]in this film this guy is not appointed by God so then

[111:54]are you subconsciously if they watch it and not realizing the or

[111:57]even not are youth other people well not not Muslim they see

[112:02]this and they and then appeared and then they're like oh wait

[112:05]is this going to be like the other guy was a bit

[112:10]ruthless and was a bit so we have to be careful how

[112:17]they represent our important personalities right I'm happy to give this anyone

[112:28]look at the name of the books and stuff like that it's

[112:30]good for you to know how other people see our faith and

[112:36]our personalities be critical about anything you watch on the news on

[112:39]media don't don't just you know take for granted question it um

[112:44]and and um we can first time enjoy it like I did

[115:49]the point the point is you renewing your heart's intention and connection

[115:52]with him and through him to Allah so that's the first thing

[115:56]if he comes to a point you say ah I'm not really

[115:58]bothered if he doesn't come so I'm not going to pray for

[116:01]him subconsciously obviously not out loud that's when you start noticing okay

[116:03]there's a problem with my relationship with Allah my relationship with my

[116:08]faith especially for us she s don't necessarily have it as much

[116:13]um because it's not inherent as much in their understanding of the

[116:15]faith as it is for us even though I mention all of

[116:20]these Hadith we actively all all the sh I don't know too

[116:22]much about if the Isis do it cuz for them they have

[116:26]for example thean who's the IM who actually lives right now he

[116:29]not the but he's the current IM right there's another discussion that's

[116:33]the different kind of she but majority of the she do 12i

[116:36]continue to do pray for him second thing is Allah help me

[116:43]to prepare for him right now that's the second Dua you have

[116:46]to do as it make my end righteous as I said earlier

[116:50]so that when he does appear but we don't know he may

[116:54]appear this year this Ramadan we don't know maybe next Ramadan or

[116:58]whenever he appears am I ready as I said like he appears

[117:01]and sometimes you say I want to go to him but you

[117:06]I may feel that I'm in such a state of spiritual unwell

[117:11]that if I go to him he's going to see my lack

[117:15]of spiritual wellness and he's not going to accept me I want

[117:18]him to accept me but I already de Ed on his behalf

[117:22]so then I won't go to so then I become more pessimistic

[117:25]about myself my faith my life and everything but if he work

[117:30]continue praying for him and work to do things that please him

[117:34]as I said he's right now taking notes of who's doing what

[117:37]in West Asia you also taking notes of what you're doing in

[117:42]London it could be anywhere right now you decide all to be

[117:46]here that's the first step right you made the intention of coming

[117:49]here be at home you could be in a gathering you could

[117:53]be anywhere do anything you decided to come here for for sake

[117:55]of Allah and for the sake of getting closer to Allah so

[117:59]you're already in the process of doing that continue doing that find

[118:03]ways speak to your friends to your to the Imam of the

[118:08]Mask read investigate look at lectures how can I improve to be

[118:11]a a person ready mentally physically and spiritually for my IM if

[118:19]that requires you to um educate yourself if that requires you to

[118:23]settle down have a family if that requires you to work hard

[118:26]and donate some of your earnings to people that we all know

[118:30]in our own countries every single one of our countries need help

[118:33]I know plenty of people if you send them 20 makes a

[118:38]difference in their life for the month that's like four coffees for

[118:41]us makes a difference for the person to the point where they'll

[118:46]reply back to you and they will say you you saved my

[118:55]daughter's um shakia you saved my daughter's personality because I was able

[118:59]to buy her a dress so she can go to a gathering

[119:00]that to a wedding that she wasn't otherwise going to go was

[119:04]going she was going to be upset it's nothing is it 20

[119:06]so there's so many things we can do all of us here

[119:11]people here we have Elders in the community they don't have many

[119:13]family members that can visit themi I'm doing this because I know

[119:20]this is what would do you would visit cuz that Mom Ali

[119:22]did that visited the orphans but have people who you can visit

[119:25]in maybe in in them in the hospital and well you can

[119:30]you make the intention to serve there's so much you can do

[119:33]and so if he hasn't come yet because you're praying for it

[119:38]doesn't matter cuz you're getting all the brownie points you're Gathering all

[119:41]the H because you're doing things that will make him happy that

[119:44]pleases him if he was here he's here as in he was

[119:49]ruling amongst us he's here is always here we have to be

[119:51]careful how we word it language is very important that um if

[119:55]he was no he's here but if he was ruling us so

[119:56]we could see him directly I think there was a sister who

[120:09]ask if you had like a recommendation for like a book or

[120:11]a piece of text that kind of goes into this in more

[120:21]characteristics that we can take on now as well um there's a

[120:27]few books I think you'll find them free as well on al-islam.org

[120:32]don't go to alislam.org that's the ahmedia one go to al-islam.org that

[120:41]one there you will find uh many books for free that have

[120:44]been translated into English um about M and the 12 imams I

[120:50]think sheh Nafi has written um 12 about the 12 14 M

[120:58]and he gives a nice overall picture of who they are and

[121:00]then there's other books that you can go into that provide more

[121:04]depth there's uh some we have I think that might be on

[121:11]alislam.org I know I have a thick book cuz I went to

[121:14]and I bought it from anaran like all of us and it's

[121:18]sitting there we hardly ever take it down but the if you

[121:20]go to alislam.org there's loads of free pdf books there so you'll

[121:23]find a lot of information who the IM is and alhamdulillah there's

[121:27]some lectures now on YouTube as well from our she Scholars that

[121:30]you can look at I would never say to you don't go

[121:33]and see what the sunnis have to say go and see what

[121:33]the sunn have to say that's fine as I said look at

[121:39]everything in a critical way there may be even mistake my mistake

[121:42]in my presentation however what I advise you to do is place

[121:47]imami in the context of as a sh in the theological school

[121:54]that we have so we know there's 12 IMS it's mentioned by

[121:56]the prophet even in the Sunni books so we know that there

[122:00]should be one now you think okay but the Sunni so go

[122:02]and investigate what they have to say go and investigate what Shia

[122:05]have to say because I want all of you not to take

[122:07]my word or next person's word for it but become in your

[122:12]understanding relationship with IMI of who he really is once you have

[122:15]that y inside you from your own investigation instead of me telling

[122:19]you the information passing the information like or whatever you know when

[122:22]you tell the kid don't put your hand in the into the

[122:25]fire but it's so attractive I want to try as a kid

[122:29]that's what he's thinking right and you keep telling him you keep

[122:31]telling him they keep looking you they put it down as soon

[122:32]as you look away they go ah and they burn their hand

[122:36]Sometimes some of us have to learn like that so go and

[122:40]investigate like you're doing sister that's a perfect thing to do and

[122:43]read as much as you can and be critical um from the

[122:49]perspective of uh the the ology that we have to see how

[122:51]it makes sense and you know always make the intention Allah help

[122:56]me whatever I read whatever I listen to whoever I listen to

[123:00]wherever I gather enable it enable it to be a method by

[123:02]which I get closer to you through the Alit and in Allah

[123:06]will guide you to the the best books and the right books

[123:09]in by the way I'm not I've never studied Theos I have

[123:13]a masters in Islamic Studies my mom sitting there she always makes

[123:15]fun of me she goes you can't speak Arabic do you got

[123:19]Islamic what's going on I said Mama it's academic it's different to

[123:22]hos so we have loads of aldah sh that come on here

[123:27]they can tell you all the hos books to read um so

[123:30]maybe like uh if you Google that you'll find more HOSA recommendations

[123:34]but these are the books that I've learned from myself alhamdulillah dear

[123:40]brothers and sisters we I think we have time for one more

[123:42]question so if any of the brothers or the sisters have one

[124:02]we see the Imam everyone will recognize him and he'll be familiar

[124:09]that mean that we've all seen him or is that a symbolic

[124:14]kind of we will all know him that's a Hos of question

[124:15]that's a very good question it's a Hos of question I will

[124:20]tell you my personal and this is not a Islamic reply this

[124:23]is a Resa apply reply so this is I think I will

[124:29]investigate see what the signs of are not how he's described to

[124:35]look like in the in the books as in when he comes

[124:36]what kind of personality would he be how does he act amongst

[124:43]the people and I I will keep praying that Allah like my

[124:47]whole existence is to tame attempt to make you happy right so

[124:55]make the love of IMI and all the in my heart the

[124:56]most important thing and so when he comes you already have your

[125:02]heart ready right connected to that energy that hopefully you would recognize

[125:06]him without all the other stuff I described but even though with

[125:08]that stuff as well included and then alhamdulillah we have who will

[125:12]guide us as well don't forget we have multiple who are who

[125:17]we trust for everything in our in our theological understanding of the

[125:20]world we have to look to see what happens with them so

[125:22]for I don't know if you guys know in the fifth uh

[125:25]Amendment to the uh constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran it

[125:30]actually states that this the holds this position until the of IMI

[125:36]after which he has no more role the country belongs to IM

[125:40]M so say will become jobless he's alive until then but I

[125:46]think he'll be happy with that situation right so there's all of

[125:49]these things around that if we investigate and find out these are

[125:52]indications of when the IM comes or someone who comes and says

[125:57]I'm the IM and it does they're not fitting all of these

[125:58]categories or most of these categories or hardly any of these categories

[126:02]sometimes you see like these people who argue with against uh zakar

[126:06]the Indian kind of like Muslim guy who argues with Christians and

[126:15]whatever and he goes uh I'm the m i goes okay recite

[126:17]the guy can't speak Arabic like that's a basic level of questioning

[126:21]critical analysis so there's more different levels right as I said there's

[126:25]people right now on YouTube saying that they are the representatives of

[126:29]so then you sit down he's speaking to the woman and the

[126:34]woman hijab is very questionable the guy seems to have some knowledge

[126:37]of stuff but when you because you've studied and you understand a

[126:41]little bit you start seeing faults in the way he does things

[126:46]and the way he's acting and the way and you like there's

[126:48]something not right about this and it's not you that's wrong that

[126:53]situation is wrong so these are different levels that you can notice

[126:57]when im comes im's representative sitting on YouTube the Americans if they

[127:02]get hold of him they they'll rip the guy apart where is

[127:06]want to kill him the guy sitting in YouTube and he's doing

[127:08]videos what's going on and his English is so good it's like

[127:12]but you can't speak full Arabic what's going on there's all of

[127:14]these things are telltale signs right unfortunately some people's still fall for

[127:19]them why because they haven't done the basic level of um learning

[127:24]to find out that's not how works or the concept of imama

[127:27]that's not how concept of imama works the first thing it is

[127:32]is H's humbleness to it right and it's not like oh he's

[127:37]very strict Muslim and you know no it's not even about that

[127:40]there's humbleness to it there's Beauty to it if sit in your

[127:43]heart and you feel ease at it especially us that we claim

[127:47]every day you know we do the Dua we do tomorrow is

[127:51]D not and all these things so just bear these things in

[127:55]mind and don't put too much pressure in yourself was like oh

[127:58]if I see him would I be like trust me when you

[128:00]know there's like when he comes the whole world is going to

[128:02]know about it it won't be just you thinking everyone's getting on

[128:05]with their life but it's going to be a massive situation a

[128:08]lot of things happen before that comes what's happening in as there

[128:11]right now is nothing compared to what's what happen all of the

[128:17]different signs that indicate one of the signs is the the Earth

[128:20]will swallow an Army in Arabia that would be big news that

[128:24]hasn't happened that would be a big news when that happens or

[128:28]someone will come one eye whatever is it metaphorical one eye does

[128:31]it really say cof all of these things will happen and then

[128:35]you're like okay something's going to happen now now is the time

[128:37]where I got to be ready in my faith and when someone

[128:41]comes and they say thei I have to see if it falls

[128:44]into these signs categories my heart everything my my leaders my Maraj

[128:48]all of these things what they say to me doesn't make you

[128:50]know all of this you won't be on your own aldah inshah

[128:53]there'll be people with you go on the same path and then

[128:55]you have a gathering of people that will inshallah guide all of

[128:59]us inah for organizing this I apologize if it went for too

[129:07]long and if it's things that you already heard before forgive me

[129:09]my shortcomings and inshallah we will be all on the um if

[129:14]not the 313 at least the 10,000 that will serve in whatever
