[26:04]this is a time for us to come together as a family

[26:09]to worship reflect and grow closer together to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[26:13]may Allah accept our fast prayers and good deeds and may He

[26:20]grant us the strength to make the most of this holy month

[26:24]inshallah during this holy month our deeds and rewards are multiplied this

[26:32]is the perfect time to give from the heart and make a

[26:35]lasting impact we would be truly grateful if you would consider becoming

[31:34]all praise belongs to Allah subhana tala I begin in his name

[31:40]in this blessed month that he has gifted us upon which to

[31:43]indulge collectively as a society in Remembering Allah subhana tala's purpose of

[31:49]why he created us and that we build uh the will within

[31:57]ourselves to to abstain from the possible trickeries of shaan and the

[32:01]natural tendencies we have to deviate and Allah subhana taala is helping

[32:09]us collectively that through fasting we will achieve God Consciousness the fundamental

[32:18]objective as I mentioned yesterday and I want to reiterate is that

[32:21]Allah created us out of his Mercy placed us on this transient

[32:24]Earth wants us to recognize his infinite mercy and is putting us

[32:32]through trials and tribulations so that we understand ourselves the key objective

[32:36]is for you and I to know ourselves know yourselves very very

[32:43]important and in the process the gains and the losses that we

[32:49]have in life will make us realize what the real function and

[32:52]purpose is and of course nothing is more conspicuously staring at us

[33:00]that really demands attention than death for the fact that when we

[33:04]are born within a few decades we have to prepare ourselves to

[33:07]depart from this world that by the time we mature and we've

[33:12]established ourselves to live comfortably on this Earth we have to depart

[33:16]and when the departure takes place everything we have earned materially on

[33:21]this Earth stays behind Allah says the beauty of this world your

[33:36]wealth and your family are the beauty of this world what's left

[33:44]what your good deeds your struggles to abstain from all the possible

[33:53]evils that Shan would suggest to us or our natural inclinations to

[33:56]deviate and Allah says that is the best Allah says that is

[34:03]what matters the most that's what's coming with you in the grave

[34:06]so these conversations are very very important for you and I to

[34:12]know that when we talk about God the day of judgment prophethood

[34:16]IM the infallibility of prophets and imams the infallibility of the Holy

[34:23]Quran and of course the essential nature of the day of judgment

[34:28]and as part and parcel of our vision and living a life

[34:31]on this Earth with the clear understanding within our actions and transactions

[34:37]that the day of judgment is tomorrow if you and I don't

[34:43]have these prescriptions we're not going to succeed Shan is going to

[34:47]fool us people who cheat who lie who steal who are narcissistic

[34:50]who are egotistic who pontificate with theirselves are the ones who have

[34:57]lost vision of the day of Judgement they feel this world is

[35:03]is just one life they're utilitarian and they feel that there is

[35:07]no justice there is no oversight there's no God they're just survivors

[35:14]having been born accidentally through some Fiat of things in the past

[35:20]which is preposterous quite honestly it's absurd and this discussion you and

[35:25]I need to have in the month of Ramadan while we gather

[35:27]here is to to say why are we here why are you

[35:31]all here why am I here well it is to encourage each

[35:33]other to become better invite them to the way of your lord

[35:44]what is this invitation the invitation of being vigilant careful and understanding

[35:50]the function and purpose of life now if mankind were to pay

[35:55]heed to the true nature of what our functions are this world

[35:57]world would be a paradise you wouldn't have to put locks on

[36:03]your doors you know you wouldn't have to have stress we we

[36:06]as a human race while our technology is increasing ASM totically today

[36:13]Quantum Computing is around the corner AI has become almost a norm

[36:18]you know its fundamental principles and the new generation today is tapping

[36:25]into the most incredible realities of technology and our access to knowledge

[36:32]is incredibly greater than any time in history this community today the

[36:40]Muslim the human race and the Muslim umah is more aware of

[36:44]the knowledge of life than any society in our predecessors in other

[36:50]words in pre previous history nobody had this level of knowledge and

[36:55]tomorrow it'll probably be Amplified twice as much so our level of

[37:01]knowledge is drastically increasing and what's beautiful is that the new systems

[37:07]of AI are taking away the mundane within us what I love

[37:13]about AI as dangerous as it can be it's it's a gift

[37:15]of Allah for AI artificial intelligence is taking the mundane away from

[37:21]us meaning the mundane transactions the calculations the memorizationscripture [Music] he in

[37:58]whose hands are the universe is the universe Your Hands by the

[38:06]way is metaphorical Allah has no hands meaning using human language Allah

[38:13]uses the metaphor of hands and Allah is describing the first thing

[38:19]he created he cre death and life to test which of you

[38:33]is best indeed so the fundamental purpose on this Earth is for

[38:37]you and I to correct ourselves which is to make our transactions

[38:46]proper our promises our honesty our integrity our kindness our caringness our

[38:56]sharing our lovingness complete how do we do that for we suffer

[39:02]in society that as much as technology has taken over by the

[39:08]same token when you study human behavior our anxieties and our depressions

[39:13]are also increasing asymptotically we're finding the prescriptions of anti-depressants increasing so

[39:21]why is it that tomorrow will be even today you hop on

[39:25]a plane and a few hours later you're on a different part

[39:28]of Earth why are we so depressed you got cards now that

[39:34]are really not cards they're robots eventually these cars will be driving

[39:37]on their own you'll be talking to them and telling them come

[39:40]over and pick me up you've got self-driving cars already today so

[39:44]why is depression increasing why are we so depressed why is suicide

[39:48]increasing why is youth uh suicidal ideations increasing the children are contemplating

[39:56]suicide what are we missing purpose in life we don't talk about

[40:04]it when Public Schools gave up religion or God it left us

[40:08]bereft of purpose we became maavalan we became utilitarian we just fed

[40:17]the refrigerator so it could feed us that's what life is about

[40:20]you become depressed because you start to figure out what's life all

[40:24]about and of course you fall in love you get a abused

[40:28]most kids you know when they're 12 13 they're already starting to

[40:36]feel the desire that pure puppy love and that by by the

[40:38]way the purest love is at that stage when those children fall

[40:42]in love with somebody it's the purest form of love as you

[40:47]grow into adulthood it becomes tainted it becomes calculated it becomes controlled

[40:53]it's not pure anymore it's interesting now Society simply practice Purity in

[41:00]Behavior at an early age then that pure love would translate to

[41:04]something positive without the indecencies that the societies are promoting us today

[41:09]with so I would like to focus on a few principle when

[41:14]you look at the entire Quran as I mentioned yesterday it's a

[41:17]book of morality it guides us this Quran guides you to that

[41:28]which is most upright it teaches you the dos and don'ts the

[41:31]rights and the wrongs how it lays out the function and purpose

[41:36]of why you were created what you're supposed to do and what

[41:40]awaits you tomorrow once you have that Clarity in Vision you can

[41:45]now execute people who are successful in business Who start any kind

[41:49]of business that hits the Mark is because they have a view

[41:54]of something the rest of society doesn't have and therefore they capitalize

[41:58]on on it and it responds because their vision is broader wider

[42:02]clearer and they can understand the Dynamics of why they opened up

[42:07]that shop or why they created that product because they know the

[42:13]needs so for you and I if we don't know the function

[42:14]of why we were created and why we are on this Earth

[42:18]and what awaits us and that death does not discriminate then you

[42:24]and I will be in a much better position to make good

[42:27]decisions and when opportunities come that are very dangerous morally let's say

[42:36]I can make a lot of money by cheating stealing or robbing

[42:40]somebody you will say no I will never go there but why

[42:43]don't you why don't you submit I can't my vision is so

[42:51]clear you want me to jump into a pit with snakes I'm

[42:57]not going to do that this is what it's about the clarity

[42:59]of seeing the truth is what you and I need to have

[43:04]fasting in the month of Ramadan helps us with this it enables

[43:07]us to re to reflect to reverse our engines our biological systems

[43:14]get slowed down so we become more contemplating more Vigilant this is

[43:21]why as I cited the verse yesterday I didn't translate the creation

[43:25]of the night and the day Allah says who are they Allah

[43:28]they reflect about God you see standing sitting and lying on their

[43:38]sides they're thinking how many of our young Generations today are trained

[43:46]to think we train them to be impulsive it's great for business

[43:50]and then they become compulsive which is great for the Pharmacists and

[43:55]the doctors and the pharmacies far I mean Pharmaceuticals pardon me mamam

[44:06]right and we become mechanical beings that are being abused was all

[44:12]we have to do is raise a generation of contemplating reflective loving

[44:17]caring sharing societies and many of these bullets will be dodged but

[44:23]we're not there look at our kids today you know the L

[44:28]and the greatest you look at social media it's designed to show

[44:32]up for 30 seconds and disappear you're like you're glued to it

[44:35]and it's it's it's voracious it wants to eat you alive and

[44:40]this generation is constantly swiping and talking and depressed and they're looking

[44:44]for their loved ones they don't know what to do everything is

[44:46]lost and then the next thing you got all these Cannabis shops

[44:50]that are legalized now so you go get high all the time

[44:54]you know just this Preposterous idea of allowing the general Society to

[44:59]indulge in tetrah hydroc canaban which is something that shrinks your brain

[45:08]and we're a very Advanced Society we can place satellites on in

[45:13]around Earth and put you know people on other planets we're so

[45:17]stupid when it comes to our basic functions as a human race

[45:22]we can't even keep our marriages intact you know our percentages are

[45:25]astronomical is it because we're innately stupid no no mankind has been

[45:35]honored you and I are blessed with intellect and and look all

[45:38]these capacities that we have created in the world today with the

[45:41]technology of AI and Quantum Computing which is going to blow away

[45:47]the regular computers in the world today is created by that same

[45:51]human race that's stabbing itself so let's pay attention it's crucial for

[45:56]you and I trust me that we become proactive and preemptive in

[46:03]life and not reactive such that when the problem strikes us we

[46:11]wake up True Believers are preemptive they prepare they're constantly Vigilant and

[46:15]they're aware of the impending danger and they're proactive look at Imam

[46:21]aliam look at the holy prophet himself proactive establish and they were

[46:29]very careful about what they did their transactions were longterm their families

[46:35]were killed they didn't care their wealth was taken they didn't care

[46:39]their lives were put on the line they didn't care because they

[46:45]saw the future and they saw the future as tomorrow and they

[46:48]were so Vigilant and constant in it that that's what's saving us

[46:52]as a human society today had it not been for the vigilance

[46:57]of the prophets in the IMS you and I would not have

[47:01]had Islam the way we have it today we would have had

[47:02]a carcass of religion for Shan would have stripped it and left

[47:07]us with nothing and we would have been so lost but Allah

[47:10]guarantees that he is protecting his religion and that if you and

[47:15]I love Allah then we have to be preemptive and proactive so

[47:20]let's discuss this briefly within the time that I have because I

[47:24]think it's very important in Bak when Allah says Al you know

[47:29]it's Secret Letters Nobody Knows the meanings of that Quran has these

[47:33]Secret Letters that Allah is guarding the Quran through these Secret Letters

[47:40]and when when he reappears possibly Allah will reveal it to us

[47:46]or possibly we will know it when we die but in Bak

[47:51]Allah describes the signs of a I want to just touch that

[47:58]as a fundamental principle and then jump into verse 177 which I

[48:02]think the messenger of Allah in verse 177 of the Quran stated

[48:05]if you follow just this one verse you will have complete faith

[48:10]so we talk about it insh in Allah says I just want

[48:19]to make a point here he created death so death is not

[48:23]nothing death is not f f is nothing thing death is not

[48:30]the negation of life it's not death is not the opposite of

[48:34]Life yes it's a transition that's why in Arabic means to taste

[48:47]you experiencea means to taste you experience so Allah says every self

[48:51]shall taste death so Allah created death and life so m is

[49:09]the origin of us when you and I are born from the

[49:14]wombs of our mother we are actually we die first before we

[49:17]become alive because that shift from the womb to this earth is

[49:22]death very interesting so death is not shutting things off it is

[49:30]a transition number one very very important to remember I want to

[49:33]make a quick Point here just a quick point and then I'll

[49:35]jump when Allah creates any living being we'll talk about this I

[49:43]just want to introduce it tonight food for thought when Allah creates

[49:47]a soul Allah says in the Quran something else when the baby

[49:56]is born when Allah puts spirit into that baby that Spirit never

[50:03]turns off forever you can kill the baby and kill the adult

[50:06]the soul of that person never shuts off when people go through

[50:13]near-death experiences they notice an outof Body Experience they feel levitation they

[50:18]got into a car crash they feel that they're looking at their

[50:20]body they see the ambulance picking them up taking them resuscitating them

[50:25]it's very fascinating and when they come back alive they say yeah

[50:30]I saw this notice they never shut off their body shut off

[50:32]but they didn't shut off the soul is such a gift of

[50:38]Allah it never shuts off forever but it goes through Transitions and

[50:42]each transition is called means what test you try you we will

[51:01]test you we will put you through rigor ex incredible amount of

[51:08]Fear Can you st in this it's it's magnificent honestly you might

[51:11]think oh brother what are you talking about you know trials tribulations

[51:14]losses I wish it wasn't true that's what makes us humans that's

[51:19]what purifies us so let's jump very quickly and you will see

[51:25]that Allah subhana tala is his Mercy is I mean when you

[51:28]look at the Quran there's no book in the world that establishes

[51:31]principles the way it does I'll talk about the Quran its nature

[51:36]the general nature you notice Quran doesn't follow chronological order it's constantly

[51:40]shifting in time it talks about something now it jumps to the

[51:44]Future goes to the Past it's constantly moving you know it's like

[51:48]in when you're telling a story you want to stay within that

[51:51]time you'll find other scriptures the Christian judaic CH scriptures it's very

[51:56]chronolog logical the Quran violates chronology completely it purposely does this to

[52:04]tell you I'm a book of morals and morals don't need time

[52:08]they're Timeless when you when you're good when you're kind when you're

[52:13]loving when you have a vision when you're forgiving when you're caring

[52:17]time stops because it's irrelevant because a good character has no time

[52:22]it's only when you tell a story it needs a time and

[52:26]the Quran is not not a story book it has stories it

[52:30]has signs it has everything but it's not important and I love

[52:33]it and when I read it I said my Lord you created

[52:36]me you know who I am I know I knew a Jesuit

[52:40]priest in New York his brother gave him the Quran he read

[52:43]F he became a Muslim I asked him why he said when

[52:48]I read just those seven verses I knew humans cannot write this

[52:51]this is God just like when the prophet sallallahu alaih wasallam when

[52:57]he puts at the Caba they said this is not the word

[53:02]of man this is the word of God it's succinct it's perspicuous

[53:06]to the point and it strikes the heart and makes you realize

[53:12]that's the beauty that we have in our hands today muham muhad

[53:21]Allah says notice the Quran is complete not the verses scattered under

[53:27]somebody's bed which people proposed the idea you know when the prophet

[53:33]left the Quran was scattered and that you know it had to

[53:39]be collected by humans and somehow figured out no the prophet says

[53:45]I leave you two heavy things the book of God it's complete

[53:53]it is upon us to collect it and recite it the Perfection

[54:00]of Allah delivering this message is so fundamentally important and Shan and

[54:06]his cronies try to make us doubt the Quran from its authentic

[54:10]position by claiming how do I know this is the word of

[54:14]God I ask a fundamental question assuming the Quran is not the

[54:21]word of God which is not true but assuming then ra reason

[54:23]and rationality would dictate that there has to be a book out

[54:26]there that God revealed that is better than the Quran try it

[54:33]travel go even to the Moon you won't find any book like

[54:39]the Quran it's no secret so when you and I have doubts

[54:42]just read the Quran so Allah said in this book there is

[54:54]no doubt LBA how laa well rationality tells me that I need

[54:59]a prescription I need a system I need a written form of

[55:03]laws otherwise I am not liable for anything you know when you

[55:09]go to court and they're going to give you a fine if

[55:11]that law is not written they cannot find you you know that

[55:17]you look at the structured laws of civil societies you have constitutional

[55:22]laws you have state laws you have local laws you have ordinances

[55:27]in your house the local community has laws about how you're going

[55:32]to ra put your grass and what color you're going to paint

[55:37]your house why are those laws there they're written laws to ensure

[55:41]civility to ensure Harmony so when Allah said a Believer knows that

[55:49]the words of Allah has to be somewhere and that when I

[55:52]read it I should have no doubt so Allah said meaning for

[55:58]those who guard against evil so when you and I are cognizant

[56:03]of our functions in life we will understand that the Quran is

[56:07]an immutable book and it cannot be superseded hands down and I

[56:11]see I speak from experienced by the way I don't claim to

[56:14]be an expert but I travel the world I speak in universities

[56:17]and I quote the Quran verbatim in Arabic in a non-muslim audience

[56:23]because it's so powerful that just the Arabic language is a mesmerizing

[56:29]reality and it works and it has never failed me who are

[56:38]they they believe in the Unseen look at the you know the

[56:44]second chapter of the Quran fantastic when you just it's laying it

[56:48]out by the way fa is a Dua it's the entire principle

[56:54]of life is in FA the isn't it you know what it's

[57:04]all in F instantaneously it's place and then the is the rest

[57:12]of the verse it's the most concise seven verses you and I

[57:18]can ever recite the entire template of my life is in fat

[57:21]and it's also Dua so it starts with that Al the opening

[57:26]then Bak Allah is describing the first thing the objective is for

[57:29]a m who is the god conscious now there are different levels

[57:33]of belief you know you have a Muslim you have a you

[57:38]know you have you have a you have so many different levels

[57:43]and even the stages of life you have the mul you have

[57:46]malakut you know L jabarut you have different levels of existence in

[57:53]this world in Dimensions that you and I can reach should you

[57:55]and I wish to tap into them we won't talk about that

[58:01]tonight but Allah is saying now who is the ultimate Allah subh

[58:12]you can't see Allah and whatever he creates is perfect and God

[58:18]is the ultimate unseen when you and I ask the question how

[58:20]can I believe in a God that's unseen when you look at

[58:29]something it limits it Allah is unlimited therefore it's impossible to see

[58:34]him the idea of atheists asking to see God is ridiculous I

[58:40]mean this is what all other religions have done they have taken

[58:45]a God and defied him into some shape and form including our

[58:49]brothers of Christianity unfortunately who've taken the Son of God and put

[58:54]him up there and kind of given him some divinity in order

[58:56]to see a physical reality of God that they can look at

[59:01]Hindus have done that you know people of different Faith have come

[59:05]up with ideas you know the zarrian have taken fire and made

[59:11]it into some you know presence of God Allah says they believe

[59:17]in the Unseen and what by the way what is the most

[59:20]valuable thing you and I have in life the power of unseen

[59:24]if you can see tomorrow before tomorrow it's unseen you will be

[59:32]the richest person in the world because you will rule because time

[59:36]will be on your hands in your hands that's the power of

[59:41]the Unseen and Allah is the ultimate unseen tomorrow is unseen the

[59:46]day of judgment is unseen right the past of how Allah created

[59:51]us is unseen to us there are many factors of unseen how

[59:55]do I reach my knowledge of the Unseen through rationality through logic

[60:01]through reason there are many many ways but I won't talk about

[60:05]it I'm just generalizing here then Allah says right away listen there's

[60:09]a w here and they maintain prayers now it's instantaneous they believe

[60:19]in the Unseen and they maintain prayers the power of responding to

[60:25]Allah is crucial for that's the connection you know H when you

[60:45]asked them who created the universe they said Allah Allah says don't

[60:51]say that isn't it true it is Allah Allah says no say

[60:56]glory be to Allah see you're responding you're not just an observer

[61:00]who's deistic and saying oh God created that Allah says what about

[61:03]you you you created me too but you know I'm not connected

[61:09]with you the Quran is very very emphatic it's the right answer

[61:16]says you don't know what I give a right answer Allah says

[61:21]no no glory be to Allah you connect and you submit otherwise

[61:26]you don't know Allah and you your answer is wrong really but

[61:32]we say Allah created Allah is asking us this is inak the

[61:42]verse I read yesterday about Ramadan right after that is that verse

[61:48]Allah [Music] says what a beautiful verse when my Believers ask you

[61:56]about me tell them I'm near I reply them when they talk

[62:00]when they ask me I reply them then Allah puts a therefore

[62:09]let them then reply me be and believe in me so that

[62:15]they are rightly guided meaning the equation needs to become complete not

[62:20]just to talk about Allah but to submit to Allah simultaneously that's

[62:23]why here Allah said [Music] and for what we give them they

[62:36]spend they're not stingy they're [Music] not the prophet said Al a

[62:44]stingy person is an enemy of God why because a believer in

[62:49]God knows that the treasury of Allah is infinite therefore giving becomes

[62:54]their natural behavior but when you don't believe in Allah or you

[62:59]believe Allah's treasury is limited then you become stingy because whatever is

[63:03]given is limited but a True Believer says never the the the
