[2:05]wa um Muhammad was one of the most important obligations that we

[2:47]have as humans before Muslims is the obligation to be connected with

[2:57]Allah the duty to be connected with our creator with our Lord

[3:04]and we see that the greatest manifestation of that connection of that

[3:14]worship to the Lord is through the act of Prayer and when

[3:22]we look in history we see that for as long as we

[3:29]can count as long as we could see archaeologists they come and

[3:32]they study groups of people they see that wherever there was a

[3:38]trace of people living there was a sign of them praying as

[3:44]well even ancient times such as the middle Paleolithic Era which was

[3:52]over 30 000 years ago archaeologists they have seen signs of worship

[3:59]and prayer even in those eras what does this tell us this

[4:04]tells us that worship is a human need this tells us that

[4:10]being connected to a higher power is a part of the fitra

[4:17]this is why Allah says in the Quran foreign this is the

[4:40]way God has created people this is why we see that for

[4:45]as long as people have been living there has been worship and

[4:49]as Muslims we have a religious duty to pray we have a

[4:56]religious obligation to be connected with our Lord we have to pray

[5:04]five times a day 17 like us within a 24-hour period and

[5:09]Allah says Allah points out three times of prayer although we have

[5:25]to pray five times but there are three times that are allocated

[5:29]for prayer Pray at noon until it becomes dark and then the

[5:43]Quran the prayer that is recited at the time of Fajr in

[5:48]the Quran verily the Quran and the Salah that is done at

[5:55]Fajr it is witnessed they asked the Imam who is it witnessed

[6:01]by what makes the federal prayer different from the lohar and Asar

[6:05]and Maghrib and Asha prayers the Imam replied this it is witnessed

[6:09]by the angels of the day and the angels of the night

[6:15]you know the Angels they also have shifts so the angels of

[6:19]the day they testify for the Quran that is being recited at

[6:24]Federal and the angels of the night they also testify to that

[6:28]now my dear brothers and sisters this topic of Salah for some

[6:34]of us you're probably like why do we have to hear about

[6:37]this I Pray I pray every day alhamdulillah I've been praying my

[6:41]whole life well if you are praying then alhamdulillah God bless you

[6:47]but there are some that are in need of a reminder to

[6:53]pray there are some that constantly need that reminder and Islam is

[6:57]a religion that's a reminder for us and in fact when we

[7:00]pray we remind ourselves of God Allah says in the Quran pray

[7:07]to remember me this is why we have to pray now someone

[7:14]might ask what's the purpose of Salah why do I need to

[7:18]pray what does God benefit from my prayer why is Allah commanding

[7:22]me to pray five times a day and the prayer has restrictions

[7:29]you have to go do sometimes you might have to do rusul

[7:31]you have to be in a pure State you have to wear

[7:37]pure clothes why is God in need of my prayer is Allah

[7:41]does God benefit from my prayer is God in need of anything

[7:48]that I do is he in need of my zakat of my

[7:53]Hajj of my homes of my charity of My fasting no Allah

[7:57]is not in need of anything but Allah created me to worship

[8:02]foreign verily the Jinn and the humans they've been created by Allah

[8:19]to worship why because when I worship me the limited creation of

[8:25]God the vulnerable creation of God I become connected with the unlimited

[8:31]and therefore I reach my Highest Potential in life therefore I become

[8:36]greater than what I am through the connection with Allah this is

[8:42]why Allah wants me to pray ends Allah says I don't want

[8:59]risk from you I don't want money from you I don't want

[9:01]anything else from you I want you to pray because when you

[9:06]pray you will become a better person because when you pray you

[9:09]will be the greatest and the first beneficiary of that prayer you

[9:14]are in need of the prayer God doesn't need the prayer this

[9:16]is why we are in need of being connected with Allah I

[9:21]don't want risk from you the sustenance is from God Allah is

[9:31]the one who is giving Allah is the one whose bounties are

[9:33]Limitless and endless this is why we are in need of prayer

[9:39]Allah tells Prophet Musa I am God there is no deity that

[9:54]is worthy of being worshiped other than God other than Allah Allah

[9:58]therefore worship Allah is there anyone else that is worthy of being

[10:08]worshiped see the human being we are conditioned it is we are

[10:13]programmed to worship this is why you find people they're either worshiping

[10:17]the sun they're worshiping the Stars they're worshiping a cow they're worshiping

[10:22]all these things Idols because we have been programmed to worship the

[10:26]job of the prophets of Allah God sent 124 000 prophets and

[10:33]Messengers to guide us to who to worship to guide us on

[10:36]how to worship this is the job otherwise the job of the

[10:40]prophets is not to create the concept of worship we are already

[10:43]programmed to worship everyone is already worshiping the job of the prophets

[10:49]is to guide us to Allah Allah sent the prophets to bring

[11:00]out that which is in our fitra to guide us to Allah

[11:05]so when I pray my dear brothers and sisters prayer connects me

[11:10]with the greatest and the highest power in the universe so if

[11:14]you're connected with the highest power aren't you going to feel stronger

[11:18]when I stand before God and pray I feel a sense of

[11:25]belonging because I'm standing in front of the one who created me

[11:28]the one who knows me the one who knows my weaknesses and

[11:34]strength the one who has always been there for me this is

[11:37]why no one feels the sense of shame to do to bow

[11:42]down to prostrate to Allah but if you prostrate if you bow

[11:50]to anyone other than God that will bring a sense of Shame

[11:52]that will bring a sense of guilt but to Allah brings you

[11:57]honor and dignity when you are feeling that sense of belonging by

[12:04]worshiping Allah when you're praying you're feeling a sense of connection with

[12:12]the one who has always been there for you the one who's

[12:15]never let you down the one who has told you and continues

[12:21]to tell you every day ask about me tell them I'm close

[12:39]and I shall answer anyone who calls upon me when I pray

[12:44]I feel that I have charged my soul just like your phone

[12:50]needs to be charged just like your car inshallah you go to

[12:54]Tesla needs to be charged every once in a while then what

[13:00]happens you feel energized this is what prayer does this is what

[13:03]Salah does it energizes the soul this is why Allah tells rasulullah

[13:11]he tells him why do you have to pray in the middle

[13:34]of the night either half the night a little bit more a

[13:38]little bit less why because you have a difficult task out of

[13:47]you pray at night so that you charge your soul so that

[13:49]during the day you will be able to guide people to the

[13:53]religion of Islam so that during the day you will be able

[13:56]to confront those who stand against you and you will find the

[14:02]strength to carry out your mission now my dear brothers and sisters

[14:08]the only one that is worthy of being worshiped is Allah and

[14:13]even scientifically speaking even when we talk about studies that are done

[14:18]by the most prestigious universities in the world you see that these

[14:27]studies show us that there is a benefit you could witness you

[14:30]could testify to the benefits of worshiping and feeling connected to Allah

[14:39]prayer helps me deal with life struggles no one said that prayer

[14:44]is going to remove all challenges from your life no everyone is

[14:47]tested the men and the non-men the person who prays and the

[14:50]person who doesn't pray however when you pray you will have that

[14:56]tool When you pray you will have that ammunition When you pray

[15:00]you will have that strength that will allow you to carry on

[15:04]there was a study done by Michigan State University sociologist and this

[15:11]is a report in the Journal of health and social behavior it

[15:15]says that high religious involvement is associated with lower suicide rates this

[15:21]is something that's there this is a study that's out there higher

[15:27]religious involvement means lower suicide rates another doctor and Professor who passed

[15:33]away last year Herbert Benson he's a cardiovascular Specialist or used to

[15:40]be at Harvard and he made up this the relax the relaxation

[15:47]response he even wrote a book about it and he says that

[15:51]during periods of meditation and prayer the body's metabolism decreases the heart

[15:59]rate slows down the blood pressure goes down and our breath becomes

[16:04]calmer and more regular this is just when you're meditating when you're

[16:10]praying another research by Dartmouth University Medical School found that patients with

[16:15]strong religious belief who underwent elective heart surgery were three times more

[16:22]likely to cover recover than those who were less religious you're more

[16:30]likely to recover why because when you have God in your life

[16:34]when you're praying when you're meditating when you're connected to Allah you

[16:41]have hope in a power that is much stronger than all the

[16:46]doctors out there right and when you have hope you will be

[16:51]able to carry on and even if you end up dying now

[16:56]you find two people they both have a terminal illness they're both

[17:00]going to die but the one who's praying feels better the one

[17:04]with spring feels better why because you're connected to a higher sense

[17:07]of a higher power that hope that strength that urge to live

[17:13]that reason to live continues because you know you're connected to the

[17:18]one who has the absolute power in the universe and even if

[17:22]you die even if something happened to you you believe that there's

[17:25]something after this death the one who doesn't believe in God that's

[17:30]it for them this life is it there's nothing after death so

[17:34]they feel hopeless they feel miserable but when you have faith in

[17:38]Allah you say even if I suffer then I know that there's

[17:45]accountability there's reward there's an afterlife and that gives me the strength

[17:51]to carry on so my dear brothers and sisters these are the

[17:58]benefits of Prayer these are the benefits of being connected to Allah

[18:03]however we see unfortunately prayer has been neglected prayer has been abandoned

[18:13]in some cases many of us if we do pray we put

[18:18]the prayer at the end of our schedule let me take care

[18:22]of this meeting and that meeting and talk to this person and

[18:25]that person then later on if I finished all of the things

[18:31]that I have to do I finished finished my checklist then I

[18:33]will get up and I will pray and this is what it

[18:38]means to neglect the prayer and some people they have abandoned the

[18:44]prayer altogether they've stopped praying maybe you come from a family your

[18:51]parents are always praying but then some they come and they say

[18:56]I say it I haven't prayed in four or five months it's

[18:58]been a while where I haven't been feeling that sense of connection

[19:04]to Allah and this is indeed a disaster not upon me not

[19:10]upon the mosques God is not in need of the prayer it's

[19:16]a self-destruction a person who doesn't pray they are destroying their own

[19:22]lives with their own actions by failing to Pray by failing to

[19:30]connect with the highest power by failing to connect with Allah and

[19:36]in fact according to our Traditions according to our Hadith the one

[19:43]who neglects the Salah the one who refuses to pray the one

[19:49]who does not pray this person and a non-believer and a kaffir

[19:52]are at the same level now someone might say say it this

[19:57]is so harsh but these are the words of the imams of

[20:00]these are not my words Salaam one of the companion one of

[20:09]the companions obey Deb in zorara obeyed the son of zurara he

[20:13]asks he says I asked the Imam about the greatest of the

[20:23]sins you have sins that are smaller and you have sins that

[20:27]are considered great sins are those that Allah has promised punishment for

[20:33]someone that carries out these sins Allah will punish this person and

[20:47]he used to write down everything the prophet says so he says

[20:55]in the book of Ali so then he says the first is

[21:03]blasphemy and God not believing in God nafs killing a person an

[21:10]innocent person disrespecting the parents and taking interest in a Haram way

[21:25]and taking money that belongs to orphans stealing money from the orphans

[21:32]and escaping and running away in the middle of the battle foreign

[21:44]means those who migrate join the religion of Islam and then they

[21:50]end up leaving the religion of Islam so the narrator he says

[21:54]I was shocked he says he tells the Imam these are the

[22:01]biggest sins these seven the Imam said yes so then he tells

[22:07]the Imam he says if I take one dirham one coin from

[22:19]the orphan oppressing the orphan is that worse or not praying so

[22:25]the Imam he says leaving the prayers worse than the Imam the

[22:30]man he tells the Imam but you didn't mention not praying from

[22:36]the you didn't mention it from the great sins Imam tells him

[22:41]what was the first thing I told you who remembers what was

[22:47]the first thing cover meaning blasphemy and God rejecting Allah and then

[22:53]the Imam he says the one who leaves the Salah is in

[23:02]the same level as someone who is a cafe now kuffer just

[23:04]like Iman has levels kufar also has levels someone could be believing

[23:09]in God someone could be saying the shahada they'll be a Muslim

[23:15]but they'll be doing kufur in the Salah they'll be doing kufur

[23:20]meaning rejecting that connection with Allah and another Hadith another companion he

[23:26]asks he asked the Imam he says why is it he asked

[23:43]he tells him why is it that we don't call the zany

[23:45]the adulteress the person who's coming committing adultery we don't call this

[23:50]person kafir but we refer to the person who is not praying

[23:54]someone who rejects the Salah and leaves the Salah why so then

[24:03]the Imam he tells him he says the person who commits Zina

[24:16]the person who commits adultery this person is doing that because the

[24:20]lust and the desire has controlled this person and it makes this

[24:26]person go and carry out something that is forbidden something that is

[24:30]Haram but the person who's not praying it's not a desire that's

[24:33]making them do something instead it is it is belittling that relationship

[24:41]with God it is belittling that conversation with god and then the

[24:46]Imam says when you belittle God then there's the kufur that means

[24:49]you are there is a lack of faith in Allah now some

[24:57]people they come and they say why do I have to pray

[25:02]in the way we Muslims pray five times a day we have

[25:06]to stand we have to bow down we have to prostrate we

[25:07]have to do we have to do although we have to do

[25:11]all of these things let's make it easy let me just say

[25:13]and meditate and that will be my form of Prayer you don't

[25:19]need to go put yourself in a hassle and bother yourself I'm

[25:25]just going to sit and concentrate or let me just go and

[25:28]do some yoga and then I'll say I meditated I was connected

[25:31]to God this is a lot of people say this I know

[25:34]it sounds funny but some people they say say it you don't

[25:38]need to pray just go and do some meditation just go and

[25:42]do some relaxation and that will be you will receive the benefit

[25:47]of someone who is praying why do we pray in the way

[25:53]that we do pray the first reason is what does mean s

[26:00]it's worship because God commanded me to do this a lot of

[26:05]times people they come and they ask questions why is this Halal

[26:07]why is this Haram why do we have to do this this

[26:10]way why do we have to do this that way sometimes we

[26:15]know the justification or we could look for the wisdom behind certain

[26:19]things but the real answer that probably a lot of people don't

[26:27]want to hear is because God said so God said so that's

[26:31]why do I believe that God is my Creator do I believe

[26:35]that God knows best do I believe that God is the compassionate

[26:37]and the merciful then therefore I will listen to what God has

[26:39]said that's what it comes down to right now when you're applying

[26:45]for a university when you're applying for for a job or to

[26:49]be accepted into a university they come and they tell you you

[26:52]need this many letters of recommendation you need to have this form

[26:56]filled out you need to write this paper and you need to

[26:59]write that paper do you go and tell them hey Harvard why

[27:00]are you asking me to write this why are you asking me

[27:03]for this many letters of recommendation does anyone do that no one

[27:09]does that when you're asking for a job and they come and

[27:13]they tell you you need to bring us this paperwork you need

[27:14]to have your CV and we need to see this and this

[27:17]and this do you come and ask your job why is it

[27:20]that you're asking this no one does that but when it comes

[27:24]to Allah we keep objecting why this why that why this why

[27:26]that because God knows what's best because Allah he is the knowledgeable

[27:34]he is he is the compassionate he is he is the one

[27:39]who has given me everything that I have and therefore I will

[27:43]do what Allah has commanded me to do this is one second

[27:50]when we pray in the way that Allah has commanded us to

[27:57]pray we are whether we realize it or not we are benefiting

[28:01]ourselves we mentioned the scientific studies that show the benefits of prayer

[28:06]the benefits of being connected with Allah when we pray we benefit

[28:10]why does God want me to pray five times a day and

[28:16]not once a week God loves me because God wants me to

[28:20]be connected with him because God wants me to have a conversation

[28:25]with him five times a day instead of once a week they

[28:37]asked them why do we have to pray five times a day

[28:40]rasulullah he said imagine if one of you you have a stream

[28:49]of water in front of your house there's a river a stream

[28:55]of beautiful crystal clear water running right by your house just imagine

[29:01]the Maldives imagine Hawaii imagine these beautiful images that you see that

[29:08]beautiful image of the water and then rasulallahu alaihi he says and

[29:14]you go and you dip yourself and you clean yourself and you

[29:20]wash yourself five times a day in that stream of water how

[29:23]clean are you gonna be and he's telling this to people that

[29:29]are living in the desert he's telling this to a group of

[29:32]people that the religion of Islam came and started begging them and

[29:34]tell them guys take a shower once a week so they're used

[29:40]to so taking a shower once a week was probably a little

[29:44]bit too much for them so rasulullah comes and he says imagine

[29:46]someone cleans themselves five times a day how clean are they going

[29:52]to be they said you're going to be extremely clean you're going

[29:54]to be spotless you're going to be shining he tells them this

[30:00]is exactly what prayer does to the soul this is exactly what

[30:05]prayer does to the heart it cleans it cleanses you it purifies

[30:10]you know prayer removes the fascia and the munkar so this is

[30:19]one or the second reason the third reason my dear brothers and

[30:26]sisters this is only those who have reached a level of closeness

[30:29]to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala they will understand us many people will

[30:33]not and the answer is that because God is worthy of being

[30:42]worshiped God is worthy of being worshiped think of that who is

[30:46]the one who has given you everything that you have who is

[30:50]the one who's the source of all the blessings in your life

[30:53]everything that you have in your life is from Allah is praying

[30:58]five times a day too much for God of course not Allah

[31:04]is worthy of being worshiped this is the man who understood God

[31:12]the man who was struck while he was performing sujud he was

[31:18]struck while he was praying to Allah he says he says oh

[31:36]Allah I have not worshiped you because I want Paradise or I'm

[31:40]afraid of the Hellfire but I worshiped you because I see that

[31:45]you are worthy of being worshiped is there anyone else that is

[31:51]worthy of being worshiped other than Allah now you could do the

[31:55]salawat some of us we only worship God when it's convenient we

[32:05]only worship God when our life is smooth when things are okay

[32:10]but if we're tested if we're going through some difficulties if we're

[32:14]going through some challenges in life we come and we say why

[32:17]is God doing this to me why is God doing this why

[32:20]is God testing me in such a way of course there are

[32:25]many reasons why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tests people one of the

[32:30]reasons this requires a whole lecture on its own one of the

[32:34]reasons is because God loves you that's why he tests you because

[32:37]God wants you to excel God wants you to go further and

[32:42]further the same way your teacher gives you a harder test when

[32:44]they see that you are worthy when they see that you are

[32:47]passing they'll give you a harder test to give you a higher

[32:53]certificate and this is why Allah tests us sometimes but some of

[32:56]us we don't understand that we stop praying many times I've had

[33:03]this people reach out to me say it I went through difficulties

[33:06]this and this happened to my life and I felt disconnected with

[33:09]God and I stopped praying that's a selfish mentality that's the person

[33:16]who's saying I only need God when life is good I only

[33:21]want God when I'm benefiting from God but I don't want to

[33:24]worship God God is not worthy of my prayer when God is

[33:26]asking me to pray and God doesn't benefit from my prayer I

[33:31]am the one who benefits but this is how we are there

[33:37]was a a man from bani Israel this is a Hadith that

[33:41]is narrated to us from the imams of the bait a man

[33:46]a worshiper from bani Israel this man used to worship God every

[33:54]day and he wakes up and he sees his meal as right

[33:55]in front of him Allah would send him his sustenance and his

[33:59]meal every day he wakes up he sees his food the next

[34:03]day he sleeps he wakes up he sees his food and this

[34:09]was going on for a very long time one day Allah wanted

[34:13]to test him one day Allah wanted to see is this person

[34:17]really worthy of this relationship some people they look like they're worshipers

[34:22]they look like they're always connected to God but in reality you

[34:26]go and you see the reality you see they crumble right away

[34:30]that's why we don't judge people we don't measure people's Iman by

[34:33]how many rakas They Do by their prayer no this is just

[34:35]one of the reasons one of the ways of looking at the

[34:40]religiosity of a person but there's many other aspects we mentioned a

[34:44]few days ago the truthfulness the Amana being able to if someone

[34:48]trusts you with money and saying the truth that is what defines

[34:53]a person so anyways this person he wakes up he sees there's

[34:58]no food he gets really hungry he says okay maybe tomorrow God

[35:04]will send me the food the next day he wakes up there's

[35:09]no food the third day he wakes up there's no food so

[35:11]he says what am I going to do I I'm hungry I

[35:16]need food so he comes down from the hill he was worshiping

[35:22]Allah he goes the first door he goes he knocks out the

[35:24]home of a kafir the home of a non-believer someone who rejects

[35:30]Allah he knocks on the door he says please give me food

[35:33]I'm hungry the man he comes out and he gives him three

[35:37]pieces of bread he takes it he's about to eat he's about

[35:41]to take a bite of the first suddenly a dog a dog

[35:45]that was in the area a dog that is in that house

[35:49]the dog comes and it starts barking and barking and barking and

[35:52]it's about to bite him he gets scared he throws one piece

[35:57]of bread to the dog the dog eats it right away and

[35:59]the dog continues to bark and bark and bark he gets scared

[36:04]he throws the second piece of bread to the dog the dog

[36:06]eats it and he starts barking again this man he gets so

[36:12]scared of the dog he throws the third piece to the dog

[36:15]and then the dog eats it and the dog continues to bark

[36:18]then he tells the dog that man he tells the dog have

[36:23]you no shame I gave you all of my food I gave

[36:24]you three pieces of bread that I had and you're still barking

[36:30]here the Hadith says God made the dog speak the dog begins

[36:41]to tell the person I have no shame or you have no

[36:48]shame I stand at the door of this man sometimes days pass

[36:51]and he does not feed me but I don't leave the door

[36:56]of this man I stand guarding the door of this man I

[36:59]don't leave him I stay here even sometimes days pass and I'm

[37:04]not fed and you you were not fed for three days and

[37:06]you left your Lord that you've been worshiping and you go to

[37:11]a cafe this is the reality of human beings my dear brothers

[37:14]and sisters sometimes when we're tested we leave God we say no

[37:19]no I don't need to pray anymore he has a beautiful statement

[37:26]he says people are the slaves of this Dunya and religion is

[37:42]just something on the tip of their tongue but when they're tested

[37:46]there's not going to be that Many religious people now we ask

[37:54]ourselves come yet this is what happens my dear brothers and sisters

[38:01]so what happens when we neglect the Salah the effects of neglecting

[38:11]prayer what are the effects of neglecting prayer the person who does

[38:15]not have a relationship with God this person will be disconnected with

[38:21]the mercy of Allah God has Mercy that is pouring down on

[38:27]me every day every day Allah is blessing me and giving me

[38:30]every breath that I breathe this is a gift from Allah to

[38:35]me the fact that you're alive today the fact that you had

[38:37]dinner today the fact that you are still living means God is

[38:39]watching out for you it means God is still giving you but

[38:43]some of us we don't see that we don't see it doesn't

[38:49]fill our eyes all of these blessings has given us and we

[38:56]disconnect with Allah Allah says in the Quran describing the people who

[39:01]leave the prayer what happens when you leave prayer what happens when

[39:14]you lose prayer you become victim you crumble in the face of

[39:18]desires that's it you have no more self-control Allah says in the

[39:24]Quran as soon as you lose prayer what happens you start following

[39:33]you start worshiping your desires the ending is the Hellfire so the

[39:41]first consequence of neglecting the prayer is that I become weak you

[39:47]know there are some people they have low immune system as soon

[39:50]as there's a virus as soon as there's a bacteria right away

[39:53]they get sick this is exactly what happens to a person who

[39:58]doesn't pray their body might be very healthy they might be as

[40:01]strong as a horse but their soul it falls it crumbles they

[40:08]can't stand in front of desires and when a person crumbles in

[40:11]this in the face of desires this person has no shame this

[40:16]person has no dignity and honor in life that's it we start

[40:21]crumbling in the face of sin and when we sin we end

[40:25]up ruining our own reputation we end up ruining our own image

[40:28]and our own name this is what happens to us prayer gives

[40:34]you that sense of strength Allah says prayer stops prayer is it

[40:47]comes in the way of sin and evil and mankar but when

[40:50]I don't pray I'm not going to have that immunity I'm not

[40:55]going to have that protection anymore then I become an easy prey

[41:00]to shaytan an easy pray to my desires this is how some

[41:06]of us become as soon as we see our desires we crumble

[41:09]we can't stand in front of it that's it we can't we

[41:11]don't have that urge we don't have that strength to tell our

[41:17]desires no stop destroying my life this is one second we become

[41:24]susceptible to harm we become susceptible to anxiety to suffering we lose

[41:32]that self-esteem the Allah has given us Allah has given every single

[41:37]one of us but I lose it why because I don't have

[41:47]that protection from Allah foreign Allah says the human being is weak

[42:14]the human being is susceptible to harm the human being has low

[42:20]self-esteem except those who pray but not just anyone who prays those

[42:26]who are stable in their prayer those who are continuous in their

[42:33]prayer those who do not give up under Salah this is the

[42:36]second the Third is the worst of all and that is a

[42:44]bad ending that is hellfire Hellfire is real my dear brothers and

[42:49]sisters Allah talks about it in the Quran let us wake up

[42:51]Allah says in the Quran describing the many and the Believers they

[42:57]ask the people of the hell they tell them what are you

[43:03]doing in what brought you to sakar Sakura is one of the

[43:09]names of the Hellfire what do they saying we did not pray

[43:16]we did not connect with Allah my whole life God tells me

[43:37]but we choose to live an arrogant lifestyle where we reject Allah

[43:47]now neglecting the prayer doesn't just mean not praying sometimes it could

[43:55]be someone who delays the prayer sometimes it could be someone who

[43:58]does not understand the value of their prayer sometimes it could be

[44:02]someone who their prayer does not have that impact on their life

[44:07]on his Deathbed he says tell our followers what his final message

[44:19]the final message is dying he gathered his family he tells them

[44:30]that the one who belittles the prayer will not receive our shafah

[44:37]they will not receive our intercession talks about these people some people

[44:49]they pray not for God they pray so other people say masha'allah

[44:53]Masha Allah this person is good this is how some people pray

[44:57]so is that prayer going to help you is that prayer going

[45:01]to benefit me it was for this person or God this is

[45:05]why Allah says woe be upon those who pray but they're distracted

[45:18]in their prayer they're not paying attention this is also one of

[45:22]the ways of neglecting so my dear brothers and sisters the month

[45:29]of Ramadan this is the month of change this is the month

[45:32]of Reform this is the month to become a better person graduate

[45:38]after the month of Ramadan becoming a better person closer to God

[45:41]and one of the ways of becoming a better person is by

[45:47]having a healthier relationship with Allah make the oath make that promise

[45:52]if you didn't before say I will do it now there's always

[45:54]room for change as long as you're still breathing that means God

[45:58]will allow you to change don't give up on Allah because God

[46:05]is not giving up on you we ask Allah to bless you

[46:11]all to accept all of your prayers let us raise our handsome
