[4:44]different languages he was able to bring them together and until today

[4:51]when you look at a image of the Muslim Community you see

[4:56]a variety of different people all United under one cause under one

[5:04]Banner under one religion and this Unity that the religion of Islam

[5:11]brought this is considered to be one of the greatest one of

[5:15]the greatest blessings upon the community Allah subhana wa tala says in

[5:20]the Quran and hold on tight to the Rope of Allah and

[5:30]do not be divided and remember the the blessing from Allah upon

[5:45]you when you used to be enemies when you used to wage

[5:51]Wars against one another and Islam brought you together the and brought

[5:59]you together now you became Brothers now you became brothers and sisters

[6:06]in IM and in faith and this is something that the religion

[6:10]of Islam created the concept of the Muslim umah where people despite

[6:17]their differences despite their different cultures despite their different languages they are

[6:23]all under one Banner Allah says you became the best umah the

[6:32]greatest of the UMAS because you were United and because you enjoyed

[6:37]the good together and you forbid the evil together and the of

[6:52]describes the Muslims as a single body a single unit of a

[6:58]single body all the Muslims make up one body he says he

[7:12]says the Muslims in their love and their care and the way

[7:19]that they support one another is like one single body if one

[7:28]part of the body is in pain then the whole body will

[7:33]be in pain then the whole body will suffer then the whole

[7:37]body will be unwell and this is why we see in Islam

[7:42]there's a lot of things that create Unity that bring people together

[7:47]in this society and this culture you find people don't get together

[7:52]maybe Thanksgiving weekend you find families they get together they eat one

[7:56]day out of the year but in Islam there's a lot of

[7:58]things that are a part of the religion that bring people together

[8:07]for example you have Friday prayer Friday prayer is a form of

[8:12]unity bringing different people all together to pray together you have the

[8:16]daily prayers the daily obligational prayers which are recommended to be done

[8:23]in J you have thej when we perform the Haj you find

[8:26]different groups of people they're all gathered together the zakat when we

[8:33]give zakat we care we have to give a part of our

[8:34]wealth it goes to the needy it goes to those who are

[8:41]in need and my dear brothers and sisters Allah says in the

[8:44]Quran if you want to remain strong if you want to remain

[8:47]powerful if you want to be undefeated then you have to stay

[8:54]together the moment you divide the moment you break the unity then

[8:58]that is when you will become weak then that is when the

[9:04]Muslim umah will begin to suffer and everyone else will begin to

[9:08]attack you and you will not be able to defend [Applause] yourself

[9:18]obey God and obey the prophet and do not quarrel do not

[9:24]be divided do not fight amongst one another over silly things because

[9:28]when you are going to be divided then your strength is going

[9:34]to be gone your strength is going to be taken away this

[9:37]is why we have to learn from our leaders we have to

[9:43]learn from we have to learn from the to build Bridges build

[9:47]Bridges there's nothing wrong with Building Bridges and creating Unity with different

[9:53]people even if they're non Muslim Allah says in the Quran even

[10:02]tell the people of the book we have something in common with

[10:06]you but now when we're talking about the Muslims we're talking about

[10:10]the Muslim umah we have to make sure that we create this

[10:13]unity and do not be from those who burn Bridges you know

[10:17]there are people we run into in life there are people they're

[10:20]uniters and there are other people who are dividers who just know

[10:25]how to talk about negative things who just know how to divide

[10:28]and know how to break up different people and this is destructive

[10:35]this is destructive for a person this is destructive for the umah

[10:40]this destructive in your goal to get closer to Allah subhanahu wa

[10:45]ta'ala there was a lady during the time of the Jah andr

[10:48]this lady her name was she used to sit in the morning

[10:57]she used to sit and sew and knit she used to knit

[10:58]and she used used to make an outfit make something and then

[11:02]once it's in the afternoon she would pull the whole string and

[11:06]she would destroy everything that she worked on she used to do

[11:12]this and this is a sign of foolishness Allah makes an example

[11:15]of her in the Quran Allah says do not be from those

[11:30]people who break Bridges do not be from those people who because

[11:33]of one anger one moment of anger or one urge or whatever

[11:37]it is they come and they destroy everything and break up the

[11:45]Muslim unity and when we look at when we look at our

[11:51]role models our leaders we see Allah was a uniter how was

[11:53]he able to bring different people together he United them people that

[11:58]were fighting with one another he brought them together and similarly we

[12:04]see the they were uniters in the umah the bit did not

[12:08]divide today there is the misconception that the B they created a

[12:13]division within the umah the sh they created a division within the

[12:19]umah but that is not the truth my dear brothers and sisters

[12:21]in fact theit were those who United the after the day of

[12:29]when his personal H his personal right was taken away from him

[12:41]preserving the religion of Islam and for the sake of defending the

[16:01]umah was weakened and became weaker and weaker and we are where

[16:08]we are today where we see the people of gazah they are

[16:17]you have 22 Arab countries and 57 Muslim countries and the Muslim

[16:26]countries can't do anything you have over 1.6 billion and Muslims but

[16:31]they can't do anything they're asleep they're in a slumber why because

[16:35]of their weakness because of their lack of unity because of their

[16:40]division amongst themselves Gazza was under a blockade for over 20 years

[16:50]20 years and not a single one or the Muslim countries can't

[16:52]do anything yes you have a few countries here and there but

[16:57]the majority those who have the wealth those who have the power

[16:59]those who are making backdoor deals with Israel and with the enemies

[17:05]of the Muslims they're silent they're just watching and the majority of

[17:11]the masses are quiet I will conclude here to go on to

[19:46]as we are divided we will be weak and we will be

[19:51]attacked and we will be unable to defend ourselves and unable to

[19:56]achieve anything now the question is we know where we are right

[20:01]now we know exactly where the Muslim umah is right now where

[20:09]the people of gazah can't get a a a bottle of water

[20:11]in unless their enemies allow it to enter and this shows the

[20:19]weakness of the Muslims now the question is who broke the unity

[20:23]or when was the unity broken what put the Muslims where they

[20:27]are right now today where Muslims are ruled by dictators of course

[20:33]when we talk about the Muslims we don't mean the Muslim people

[20:37]we mean the leadership we mean the leaders but sometimes it's the

[20:42]people that allow the mindset that people have that allow leaders to

[20:46]come and take advantage of people where dictators rule for 20 30

[20:53]40 years they go there was the Arab Spring what did it

[20:55]bring another set of dictators a group of dictators left another group

[21:02]of dictators come this mindset my dear brothers and sisters where does

[21:06]this come from you might ask a political scientist they'll give you

[21:10]analysis and they'll give you explanations different types of explanations but one

[21:17]explanation that I want to shed light on is that this subservient

[21:23]behavior of Muslims this lack of speaking out against Injustice this has

[21:34]a religious Garb to it it has a religious touch to it

[21:38]because there are groups deviant groups groups that do not represent the

[21:45]religion of Islam they come and they try to portray Islam in

[21:51]a way where you do not have the right where people do

[21:53]not have the right to speak out against Injustice where people do

[21:57]not have the right to protest where people have to accept everything

[22:03]that the leaders the president the king says they have to accept

[22:06]it right away without questioning a few days ago I was watching

[22:10]on social media there's a famous salafi preacher this man he has

[22:16]hundreds of thousands of views he has influence he's watched by hundreds

[22:23]of thousands of people he was coming out and he's saying it

[22:27]is Haram to protest against what is going on in Israel it

[22:32]is Haram to protest against what is going on in Gaza and

[22:36]you should not question the leaders the presidents and the Kings they

[22:40]know better who are we to question them they know better they

[22:44]are the ones who are in power and he came and he

[22:48]puts a religious touch to it meaning it's Haram so what does

[22:50]what happens to the average person they come and they say okay

[22:53]I can't say anything now now there's oppression there's Injustice and I

[22:59]am not allowed to say anything so here you see how religion

[23:03]is used to silence people how religion is used to suppress people

[23:08]and give legitimacy to illegitimate leaders and of course this is definitely

[23:16]against the religion of Islam this is definitely against the Islamic teachings

[23:23]he says the one who does not care for the Muslims the

[23:32]one who does not care for the umah then this person is

[23:36]not a part of and whoever hears someone saying oh Muslims come

[23:47]to my Aid and this person does not help this person this

[23:53]person is not moved this person does not do anything then this

[23:57]person should not consider themselves from the Muslim umah so my dear

[24:03]brothers and sisters we see that there is a faction there's a

[24:06]group of people using religion that come and try to silence anyone

[24:14]who's speaking out against Injustice in the next few days on Monday

[24:20]will be the 13th of J and this commemorates the anniversary of

[24:29]the shahada of according to the narration that left this world and

[24:37]was martyred 75 days after the prophet there are two three narrations

[24:41]one says she died 75 days another one says she died 90

[24:47]days or 95 days after not more than that meaning she didn't

[24:51]live a year she didn't live two years she didn't live three

[24:56]years it was whether either 75 days or 90 days the question

[25:00]is why did leave this world so soon after why did suffer

[25:11]in her last days after why is the grave of Lady FAA

[26:09]full legitimacy to speak out where says in ath that is narrated

[26:31]the satisfaction of F and God is angered by the anger of

[27:17]and in that sermon she talks about how the Muslim umah can

[27:24]be United how the Muslim umah can attain strength how the Muslim

[27:28]can be powerful the way they were during the time of she

[27:33]says it but she says words that others did not want to

[27:39]hear but this is the truth and until today it proves to

[27:41]be the truth until today where we see the Muslims are divided

[27:46]she says she talks about the philosophy of prayer fasting H all

[28:01]of these things and she says Allah made our The Obedience of

[28:05]the that is what will put n that is what will put

[28:12]organization in the Muslim um and the of the obedience to the

[28:18]accepting the leadership of the that is what will bring Aman and

[28:27]safety to the um and we see that since the day the

[28:32]prophet left this world this umah has been always under division this

[28:40]umah has always become weakened because theam were neglected and abused so

[28:49]my dear brothers and sisters the solution is with the you want

[28:54]Unity you want strength hold on to the and today you see

[28:57]see the bit and the followers of the bit they are the

[29:04]ones who are carrying the torch of defending the Muslims all over

[29:09]the world of course there are many people that are doing so

[29:13]but you see in the leadership amongst the leadership of those they

[29:17]are the followers of the those who know the meaning of Shah

[29:23]those who know the meaning of IM Hussein and what im Hussein

[29:26]gave and what f z gave for the sake of Islam we

[29:31]ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to unite the umah we ask Allah

[29:37]subhah wa ta'ala to bring people together because the day we are

[29:41]united that is the day the Muslim umah will be become undefeated

[29:45]but for as long as we are divided then we will never

[29:50]be able to achieve victory Allah
