[12:17]aliy al Azim I'm Annabella brothers and sisters in this beautiful verse
[12:23]these two verses Allah subhana allah says and as for mankind when
[12:27]allah subhanaw taala increases the prosperity and sustenance for this human being
[12:35]what does he say he says God has graced me but when
[12:43]Allah subhana Allah tries him not with prosperity but rather by tightening
[12:49]the noose on decreasing his sustenance but does he say he says
[12:55]God has humiliated me Sarika long idea Darlene I said I'm an
[13:04]Akuma but a lot about a cartoon so today's lecture I entitled
[13:07]me emotionally hijacked really today our lecture is about emotions because we've
[13:16]been talking about the intellect alone right we've spoken about the four
[13:20]powers we've spoken about the pilot was talking about the Neffs today
[13:23]I'd really like to address the issue of emotions because I told
[13:26]you last night that today we want to talk about one of
[13:31]the greatest challenges that we face and one of the greatest challenges
[13:35]that we truly face are truly our emotions you know no matter
[13:40]how smart you are how much intellectual prowess you have right just
[13:47]that bit of emotion could completely skew your intellectual reasoning right and
[13:54]we see many examples of this let me give you a simple
[14:01]quick example there's a family called the Crabtree family interesting name but
[14:08]this is a true story and they have a fort they had
[14:12]a fourteen-year-old girl called Matilda solanum from an informant Madeline and Matilda
[14:21]had told her parents that she'd be sleeping over at her friend's
[14:27]so what ends up happening is she decides to April Fool's her
[14:34]death so she sneaks back into the house or she doesn't leave
[14:36]the house she stays in the house and that night her parents
[14:42]come back home and they hear sounds in the house the mother
[14:45]stays outside the father picks up his gun and he goes into
[14:48]the house to try to figure out where they're intruders she pops
[14:53]out of the house or out of one of the closets and
[14:56]she says boo and he shoots her in the neck as she
[15:01]dies how could that happen right the fear took over him fear
[15:14]is an emotion right well look at some more examples see how
[15:19]dangerous emotions can be emotions can be deadly right emotions aren't all
[15:25]like this some emotions are good yes then I agree with you
[15:27]I'm getting there right but I wanted to kind of put an
[15:33]exclamation there that emotions can be very dangerous so today we really
[15:36]need to talk about this issue of emotions and we're going to
[15:40]do so as we've done in the past first by looking at
[15:43]emotions logically what is their purpose do we really need them right
[15:52]how can we use them to our benefit secondly we will look
[15:55]at what the halls of academia say and then finally we will
[15:57]look at what Islam says about emotions okay so let's get started
[16:04]so logically speaking we said that obviously when I look at myself
[16:08]I know that I'm limited I know that I and this entire
[16:12]universe of limitation has to be created by an unlimited creator because
[16:16]a creator is not limited by his creations so the creator of
[16:19]all things limited has to be unlimited so based on that then
[16:26]I discovered that you know what he's all perfect which means he's
[16:29]all purposeful this creator and that also means that I'm worthy because
[16:32]he chose for me to exist and I know for a fact
[16:38]that everything that I have is a tool a faculty that he
[16:43]has given me so that I can thank him because that's his
[16:45]greatest right upon me because he deemed me worthy of existing and
[16:48]he is the unlimited creator so I have no one to please
[16:52]but him first and foremost and whomever he tells me to face
[16:55]right that's what the first four lectures summed up in a nutshell
[17:06]right so now I say to myself you know what I understand
[17:08]the role of the intellect and I understand that the intellect is
[17:12]talking to that heart right and I understand that it has to
[17:19]tame the Neffs has to tame it the nest is like a
[17:24]dragon the needs taming right once I slay that dragon once I've
[17:27]got it under control now I can write it as far as
[17:31]I want why because it's maintained by the intellect right because the
[17:35]heart is connected to the intellect so well because the intellect is
[17:40]constantly talking to it through what positive self-talk right by katarina and
[17:46]but one when I then wassailing well maquette why didn't I make
[17:52]your heart a close friend continue chatting with them right think about
[17:59]it also this heart as you know a family member like a
[18:04]parent who you're always checking up on and think about that knowledge
[18:07]as a guide like your dad you always follow me wherever he
[18:13]goes are your mom and make sure to know that that Neffs
[18:16]is your greatest enemy why because guess what that's what's affected by
[18:25]emotion that's what's affected by emotion so then why did God give
[18:31]me emotion I mean if it's if this emotion is going to
[18:36]cause me to make the wrong decision then why did God give
[18:41]me emotion remember what we said in the second lecture when we
[18:46]said in that lecture on self-awareness that we proved the fact that
[18:51]everything that God gives me gives me he gives me with a
[18:53]purpose right and I know for a fact that it would be
[18:57]unjust if God placed me in this world created me a certain
[19:01]way and then entered the world and then punished me why because
[19:04]he created me bad doesn't make any sense the greatest the greatest
[19:08]honor that I could have is for God himself to say listen
[19:13]I'm gonna give you a choice you know they choose me or
[19:18]you don't you choose me you're or did you don't you're not
[19:22]but he gives me that choice so now that means that in
[19:28]this world they're going to be challenges they're going to be obstacles
[19:32]right and I have to practice just like I practice on my
[19:35]xbox brother and mother to learn brother Elliot or just like I
[19:40]plaque practice on my playstation right to perfect that level brother kidding
[19:43]right I'll mess up a few times right but you know what
[19:49]I'll get back on there again until I can achieve the highest
[19:52]score until I can move on to the next level right whether
[19:57]it's Madden sale or bomb or mariokart I like mine I used
[20:13]to play my right the point is that there has to be
[20:16]this constant practice and training just like a good athlete and there
[20:21]has to be this muscle memory that appears it's in the repetition
[20:26]that you establish the memory right the more you practice talking to
[20:30]your heart the more you're going to be able to affect it
[20:32]even when you're not talking to it and so when in the
[20:40]battlefield because we already established sure or all warriors right when in
[20:45]the battlefield against the Neffs what's going to happen your muscle memory
[20:50]is going to kick in right and this time your reaction is
[20:56]it going to be emotional is it going to be reactive is
[21:00]going to be proactive problem-solving right that's what we said with initiative
[21:06]now I know that the reason why remember we said there's that
[21:15]thing that holds holds all this metaphysic allottee that I made of
[21:19]to this physical singular physical body right and we said that that
[21:23]thing is an anchor and we called it the nufs it's an
[21:27]anchor that anchors us down to this earth like gravity no matter
[21:30]how much we try to soar it pulls us down what I
[21:33]have to do is I have to tame it how do I
[21:35]tame it i tame it through the self-talk through this proactivity that
[21:39]i'm going to do however I know for a fact that I
[21:45]always sabotage myself I get on a diet okay I'm telling you
[21:47]I get on a diet all right and then I walk down
[21:52]Dollar General down what down the chips aisle okay and there's that
[22:00]bag of salt and vinegar why Oh God why why did they
[22:11]create that bag of chips every time I walk past that will
[22:13]say I get weak can I tell you I'm weak what weakens
[22:17]me is this is my emotional connection my desire my imagination I
[22:22]imagine that taste mine but taste but start to water Hodja Michele
[22:29]you're not talking about literally a chemical reaction occurs because of a
[22:39]memory of a taste right hormones start being released from my brain
[22:47]oh and I can just imagine that dopamine hit once I taste
[22:51]that gem Wow of course you guys are all healthy you don't
[22:58]know what I'm talking about okay III admit I'm addicted to something
[23:03]fingertips yeah you too yeah my people so we have to have
[23:16]that when you call to a group I already felt I'll yeah
[23:19]salt and vinegar anonymous yeah but I need warriors around me so
[23:29]we need more support right so there's this the intellect sees the
[23:34]eyes see the I see actually one day I remember my daughters
[23:38]were coming into the house from Walmart and I heard like that
[23:45]I heard the sound of a bag of toys at Boeing oh
[23:50]they better not have so my daughter's a la Lanza baba wawa
[23:54]said what she says guess what I said no you didn't yes
[24:00]I did no you didn't yes I did what you know salt
[24:03]leaving at all why did you do this to me you're supposed
[24:07]to be helping me I raised you I put a roof over
[24:13]your head and now this is how you do me has Moosa
[24:18]the spittoon nor do that do they do that to you -
[24:28]Samuraizer and that's another weakness so why why why is is this
[24:32]happening to me why am I so weak why do I continue
[24:38]to sabotage myself I recognize then logically I say to myself look
[24:43]I've got to have a challenge that challenge right to my own
[24:47]perfection is what's going to make me elevate above it because you
[24:56]see I can't get over a hurdle unless I jump and I
[25:00]can't surpass something unless there's something there to surpass I can't move
[25:05]up a step unless there is a step right I can't negotiate
[25:13]my way through a jungle if there aren't woods right more sour
[25:20]patches so I know for a fact that emotions are something that
[25:32]are generated by the effect of those three powers the imagination the
[25:36]desire the anger on my nerves it's just a logical necessity because
[25:40]there's no other way you know that I can explain this emotion
[25:45]of desire of imagination of don't get me wrong it's not bad
[25:53]I'm not saying it's bad okay I'm not saying it's bad at
[26:00]all brother Muhammad it's not bad why how do I know that
[26:02]emotion is not bad and the Neffs isn't bad because we said
[26:07]you contain the nafs right then I'm sure has a tendency to
[26:09]be dragged down however you containment how by that constant self-talk and
[26:14]training and muscle memory that you're going to create until it's like
[26:18]that bucking horse right that the Cowboys get on and then finally
[26:23]it stains right you can tame it but you have to be
[26:26]patient you have to keep practicing right so I know it's good
[26:29]because it's part of my challenge in this world and I know
[26:33]it's good because God gave it to me and whatever is going
[26:35]to be generated from that Neffs whether it's good or bad is
[26:40]going to be a function of my decision it has to be
[26:44]right in my shock and I know I'm not a floor either
[26:51]thankful or unthankful so logically speaking man I recognize there is a
[26:58]need for emotions because I know that I love I know that
[27:04]I feel sadness I know that I feel happy I know that
[27:07]I desire things and I know that there are good desires and
[27:13]that there are bad desires my brother Ali right and I know
[27:17]that I if I partake in the bad desires then I will
[27:23]have made a bad decision and one of those lights that are
[27:25]in my heart will go off I'll have a spot of darkness
[27:29]but I know that if I make a good decision on a
[27:34]good desire then that light is going to go back on and
[27:36]a few more will be turned on right so I know it's
[27:40]good I know that it has to be good right but I
[27:44]just have to know how to tame it that's all so how
[27:50]am I going to do that we said by being proactive and
[27:52]by using that site that cycle that we talked about of initiative
[27:55]with with proactivity with self-talk with practicing and muscle memory getting that
[28:06]logical argument done okay it was easy and straightforward what do the
[28:11]halls of academia say there's a man by the name of Daniel
[28:17]Goldman Daniel Goleman is a journalist he focuses mostly on science and
[28:22]psychology he has this book called emotional intelligence which has really become
[28:28]one of the most important books when it comes to EQ okay
[28:31]does anybody heard of EQ emotional intelligence before there used to be
[28:38]a focus mostly on IQ right the intelligence quotient and if you
[28:45]read Kelly McConnell's book you'll find that or sorry Carol do it
[28:53]in her book mindset you'll find that she speaks about the IQ
[28:56]test the intelligence quotient and how initially it was actually created in
[29:02]France and it was specifically by French educators to test the French
[29:08]education curriculum okay you'll appreciate the Hodgman sisters you're an educator now
[29:14]what ended up happening as other countries ended up adopting that intelligence
[29:17]quotient test but it wasn't meant for other curricula around the world
[29:23]it was meant specifically for that French curriculum what ended up happening
[29:29]in the u.s.
[29:29]is it not adopted as a standardized test to test intelligence when
[29:33]really it wasn't meant to test intelligence it was meant to evaluate
[29:39]how well the students understood the curriculum that they were they were
[29:43]learning and there's a huge difference between the two right huge difference
[29:49]emotional quotient is different in that it basically tests how you are
[29:58]with people it's basically what we call street smarts let's say okay
[30:02]you find someone who is you know academically smart and then you
[30:06]find someone else who's just street smart right one who's not that
[30:11]great in school but one was great socially right that's the easiest
[30:15]way to explain it now the problem with the IQ is that
[30:23]what we tend to do is by giving someone a grade in
[30:27]their IQ we're basically telling them this is how you are now
[30:33]if they score high then they're going to think that they're smart
[30:37]right and they have to maintain that that that's social status really
[30:43]and then if they score low we say helping the skin Nathan
[30:49]it's not very smart right and that carries through the rest of
[30:55]the person's life which is unfortunate but because that's not what I
[30:58]the IQ test was actually meant for unfortunately that's what it ended
[31:03]up being but Daniel Goleman from his work emotional intelligence what I
[31:09]really wanted to take wasn't that I wanted to explain that to
[31:13]you but one of the things that EQ is about he specifically
[31:21]mentions that there's two types of intellects in his book this is
[31:24]why I wanted to mention Daniel Goleman he says in the first
[31:27]chapter of his book he says there's two types of intellects says
[31:34]there's a rational intellect or mind and then there's a emotional intellect
[31:43]or mind which is quite interesting because he says both our decision-makers
[31:50]for us okay now what's interesting is there's a scientist by the
[31:56]name of Joseph LeDoux he's a neuroscientist at NYU he is a
[32:00]professor in the neuroscience Center at NYU and he basically made this
[32:10]amazing discovery conventionally-speaking the way that the human mind or brain works
[32:17]is that and I'm going to use some technical terms here so
[32:21]I want you to be you know open up your your ears
[32:24]with me open up your hearts you know taking the information right
[32:27]with open chests and show Allah so we learn something new some
[32:33]of you probably already know this if your doctors or have studied
[32:39]psychology but they say that the amygdala is considered to be part
[32:43]of the limbic system right and it's considered to be the memory
[32:46]center learning center and emotional center of the mind of the brain
[32:56]they say the neocortex is considered to be where rationalization occurs now
[33:00]how they know this is they actually removed the amygdala from the
[33:09]brain of a patient who was suffering from seizures and what they
[33:14]found was that after they removed the amygdala that person was it
[33:20]completely apathetic he didn't have any sort of emotional expression at all
[33:25]he didn't feel any emotions towards his family his own family okay
[33:29]so this is how modern science has been able to to define
[33:37]this this amygdala that it's important to to our emotions right it's
[33:43]almost as though it's the central core right of how we develop
[33:47]emotions or how we relate to others now what's interesting is that
[33:51]conventionally they say this is what they thought they thought that initially
[33:57]let's say information comes from the eyes and from the ears okay
[34:02]when it comes in from the eyes in the ears it goes
[34:03]to a place in the brain called the thalamus right the signal
[34:06]there's a signal oh I collected information information goes through a neuronal
[34:13]pathway to an area called the thalamus the thalamus sends a signal
[34:17]to the neocortex what does the neocortex do it sorts out the
[34:20]information and it starts to rationalize and analyze right then if it
[34:27]recognizes that an emotional response is required then it sends a signal
[34:31]to the amygdala very good all right you with me so far
[34:33]or is it like it's okay if it the important point is
[34:40]this is that this guy Joseph Lido this neuroscientist what he discovered
[34:45]is a cluster of neurons right between the thalamus and the amygdala
[34:50]almost like this Sun this cluster that they hadn't discovered or seen
[35:03]before like a back door to the amygdala where the thalamus could
[35:08]bypass the neocortex Chitina the what now what is this stuff why
[35:13]are you telling me this stuff I'll explain to you now you'll
[35:17]see how relevant it is okay so basically what we're saying is
[35:20]when information comes from the eyes and ears what happens conventionally right
[35:24]the information goes into the brain that brain signals the rational area
[35:29]of the mind to think about stuff if it needs an emotional
[35:31]response then where does a signal go to the amygdala Sankey right
[35:36]and then mic'ed Allah reacts emotionally good but this guy this scientists
[35:46]he discovered that there's a back door that sometimes what happens is
[35:52]the amygdala hijacks your rational thinking this is where this information is
[35:58]important to us because what ends up happening is instead of that
[36:02]information going to the thalamus and then from the thalamus to the
[36:07]neocortex the neocortex takes its time thinks about it taps its fingers
[36:15]a little right says does all this sort of stuff and has
[36:18]time to be patient and think things out and determine a reaction
[36:22]right what happens is this is the pathway to being reactive this
[36:31]is the back door this is why when you see something you
[36:33]don't like that your sibling said you don't even think you just
[36:36]say say what and you smack them right or you know you're
[36:45]sitting on the prayer mat and you're bismillah loja blood I had
[36:50]watched a lot of beer to be late right and then your
[36:55]little sister takes your or your turtle ba and all of a
[36:58]sudden you're like next room with you and you run after them
[37:04]right you know why you got emotionally hijacked you know it hijacked
[37:11]you your amygdala hate to break it to you so physically speaking
[37:15]and neuronal e speaking right there is this pathway that literally hijacks
[37:22]us brother what's your name brother shellye haven't been hijacked by your
[37:32]amygdala happens to me a lot unfortunately Brian what kind of time
[37:36]this is why this information was so important to me because I
[37:42]just wanted to figure out why is it that I can't control
[37:47]my reactivity right Holika in Sonora Julia why is it Allah Subhan
[38:02]Allah so high let's talk about them in a minute but so
[38:06]I figured then it's not just the fact that my intellect this
[38:10]week and my Eman is weak it's some wired that way we're
[38:17]all wired that way so what do I do how do I
[38:26]fix this so you know how in the logical argument we said
[38:33]that the best way to fix it is to take the example
[38:38]of how an athlete establishes muscle memory right you need to strengthen
[38:43]those neuronal pathways and you need to be able to negotiate with
[38:47]the hijacker and we all know that negotiating with a hijacker can
[38:56]be very very difficult right now this is a hijacker you don't
[39:03]see right who are you going to call upon I mean my
[39:11]poor intellect is being bypassed here hormonal e speaking so what I
[39:15]have to do is I have to develop stronger neuronal pathways recruit
[39:21]new neurons that's what I have to do there's no other way
[39:26]and I have to be mindful before the event happens so this
[39:33]is what lawyers do do you have any lawyers here by the
[39:37]way you think you're lying no really through lawyers we had a
[39:47]few last night okay so you know what lawyers do before a
[39:55]case anybody watch those legal shows what do they do before before
[40:01]a case they write it all down what do they write down
[40:06]all the possible questions that could be asked right what are all
[40:11]the answers that we need what does the jury needs need to
[40:14]hear right they even go through the the whole process of jury
[40:21]selection correct right they do all this prep work all this prep
[40:24]work and they keep telling the person listen if you're called to
[40:27]the stand they're gonna ask you this this this this make sure
[40:32]you don't react I'm gonna ask you so they keep drilling the
[40:35]person and the person gets emotional you've seen on TV right those
[40:40]uh what he called criminal dramas and legal shows was a law-and-order
[40:45]right that that show a law and order right so or bull
[40:51]there's another show called bull right where the guy is like he's
[40:55]an expert consultant it's based on dr.
[40:57]Phil that show as as as I recall right and what he
[41:00]does is he specifically looks at juries and he determines what affects
[41:04]them and what doesn't and what's their emotional state and he makes
[41:06]sure that he doesn't get a jury that's reactive or one he
[41:10]wants to get one that's reactive towards his side so that he
[41:13]can win the case right so what do they do what they
[41:19]do is they prep so what do we have to do we
[41:22]have to prep we have to think of all the possible scenarios
[41:24]so that if I fall into a scenario that is unfamiliar to
[41:32]me what do I do and I slip right I say well
[41:33]I didn't practice that one I missed out on that one I
[41:38]didn't even think about that one right and you see that in
[41:42]the shows too right you see that in the show stairs I
[41:44]call we couldn't have anticipated that new evidence all right all of
[41:49]a sudden the tables have turned so then what we need to
[41:54]do now is we figure okay let's take a look at what
[41:56]Islam says salut Allah Muhammad Ali Mohammed I feel like I want
[42:07]to go play with him so now what does Islam say let's
[42:12]let's review that verse that we started off with started off with
[42:16]solitude Fetchit verse 89 well I'm an insanity I'm a patella horrible
[42:22]as for man that one allah subhanaw taala tests him for a
[42:27]climber who Anna Amma who so what does he do he's generous
[42:35]to him he's gracious to him he gives them prosperity increases his
[42:41]blessings upon him and wealth they oughta be acrimonious as cart hamdulillah
[42:49]right now I said I got everything that I want right I
[42:52]got a mom in a wife I got a Benz I got
[42:58]a over I don't know what is it 2300 square foot home
[43:04]all right I got a nice backyard with a pool something I
[43:08]have everything and then what happens I lose my job and now
[43:17]all of a sudden I did a lot of this to me
[43:29]why is there even a god yeah I've heard it myself I've
[43:33]seen it right slight this the slightest trial forget about losing the
[43:42]job he has his job right something happens to his daughter she
[43:47]falls she bricks her on Yolo why could this happen to her
[43:52]I must have sinned I must have done something wrong Allah doesn't
[43:58]love me anymore hey it relax let me give you another example
[44:07]so here a key dad said to be very emotional so generally
[44:12]speaking what ends up happening is when an Iraqi child falls right
[44:16]he's afraid he's hijacked by his emotions he's not afraid of the
[44:21]pain he's afraid of the smack he's gonna get from his dad
[44:26]don't look at me like that much thereby cuz all did that
[44:33]say I say like an emo geek like Astro high knock did
[44:37]I not tell you not to go there but Dad so fear
[44:43]just hijacks you so what happens when you deal with your parent
[44:48]you like a half-truth quarter truth no truth I know you should
[44:56]tell the truth I know God wants the truth of me but
[45:00]you know choice can be painful sometimes [Music] that last time I
[45:05]told the truth what does Allah say in this verse she says
[45:19]look in both these verses he starts with an mal in San
[45:25]with a map teller Abu and ask for mankind when allah subhanaw
[45:30]taala tries him cousin in this next verse verse 16 he says
[45:34]Who am I even mapped a yahoo and then if he tests
[45:40]him this time with what with decreasing the sustenance so then what
[45:45]so when it's all tests right so now if I know that
[45:52]it's a test then tests do they end there no no they
[45:54]do of course they do right just end so then that at
[46:03]the very least should make me understand that this is a hurdle
[46:06]that I need to jump over its step then I have to
[46:09]climb and based on that Islam tells me it's telling me right
[46:12]off the bat it's saying listen look at what you do Allah
[46:15]son you look at what you do all mankind I give you
[46:23]tests right this is how you react why Allah says well in
[46:26]a blue and nakooma she in minute hope he will do it
[46:30]when I'm swimming and while you will unfussy with a mirage well
[46:35]best a sovereign Oh solutions right there in the words of Allah
[46:42]says look this is an open book exam I was told you
[46:44]already he says look I'm gonna test you with what you show
[46:49]you in man and holy fear well do a hunger when upswing
[46:56]mineral and wild deficiencies in wealth well emphasis and self what tomorrow's
[47:01]and sustenance pop assured a sovereign and bear glad tidings to those
[47:06]who are patient those who walk past the chips aisle no I
[47:14]mean you guys were getting just too serious for me I'm serious
[47:17]Yeah right it's a test I just have to walk past the
[47:25]aisle it's done test over unless I walk backwards moonwalking to the
[47:33]well this a sovereign Allah says bear glad tidings to those who
[47:40]are patient ok that's it I just have to be patient but
[47:45]I have to practice patience patience just doesn't come like that right
[47:52]brother Anwar don't get me wrong according to some of the science
[47:56]that we cited yesterday right epigenetics can affect your level of patience
[48:03]sure you might have a predisposition to be a little more patient
[48:08]which is very good but Allah will test you in something else
[48:14]why because well nw1 nakum you know what he says I swear
[48:22]Wyatt that's him what not and what I swear left lemon tell
[48:27]Keith for sure not blue an echo noon Toki another tool of
[48:36]emphasis not nap your neck hair and a blue one a comb
[48:39]plural hate to break team we're all being tested and with what
[48:50]with things that cause us to be emotional we say in minute
[48:53]health what's called what's fear is fear and emotion yes Shay Inman
[48:59]and how fee well jury hunger when you feel hungry can you
[49:06]hold on there can you strangle hunger it's an emotion why Knox
[49:14]Lynn and the deficiency you know a Molly well I'm fussy what's
[49:21]tomorrow these are physical things that we're going to suffer from that
[49:27]are going to cause us to feel that fear to feel that
[49:30]hunger to feel that pain but you know unless says it's easy
[49:36]here's the formula you're going to suffer from all the stuff add
[49:44]to all this stuff let's call it X plus sub or a
[49:52]big sod or an s right so X plus s equals what
[49:59]success passing grade no thriving not just surviving well bachelor slobby Dean
[50:09]and latina Alberto Macias uncle Owen Elliot Roger those who when faced
[50:14]with a calamity say surely we are from a lon - he
[50:19]we shall return so what's he telling us he's saying look keep
[50:22]the end in mind you're returning to me and all these faculties
[50:31]that you're using right you need to make sure you build up
[50:35]your neuronal pathways so that you can unhide Jack yourself from your
[50:38]amygdala right get on with it be patient realize that all you
[50:48]need is patience that's all that is a simple formula but how
[50:51]are you going to be patient we're going to ask Allah tell
[50:56]me okay listen I'm here listening tell me it's an open book
[50:57]how am I supposed to be patient nobody says to me beautifully
[51:03]he says just remember that you are from Allah and - he
[51:08]was shall return that simple and levena is a asaba - messiah
[51:15]Giancarlo and not in LA he when I lay here on your
[51:16]own what happens when I do that oh yeah Akali him so
[51:21]I watch I'm not rugby Mahatma well yeah ek Holman whatever Allah
[51:25]describes the success he says those are the ones who Allah praises
[51:34]and Allah bestows his mercy upon them and those are the ones
[51:41]that Allah the rightfully guided those are the true warriors I asked
[51:48]that allah subhanaw taala mixes of the righteously i did I ask
[51:52]that Allah gives us patience insha'Allah in our trials everything is a
[51:57]trial every decision is a trial every decision believe I asked that
[52:04]a lot of strengthens us all so that we can make it
[52:07]through these trials so that we can meet each other in heaven
[52:11]right all under the label of a mohtadeen following a knee moment
[52:15]Hodja salam ala ali welcomed by say the Fatima elevator in Medora
[52:19]satva Salaam hamdulillah blaming salat wa salam ala sayyidal mursaleen al fatiha
[52:24]al Rahim not humming or a tragedy will will he follow Julie
