[0:00]foreign respected brothers and sisters during the month of the important events

[1:03]of course one of the most important is the Hajj which we

[1:09]will inshallah discuss however on the seventh of the marks the martyrdom

[1:14]anniversary of the fifth Imam of Imam Muhammad IBN and the father

[1:27]of Imam and Imam he lived he lived for 57 years and

[1:40]his imama the period of his Imam lasted for 19 years and

[1:44]there is a very famous Hadith from rasulullah which is accepted by

[1:52]all Muslims sunnis and shias the birth of Imam which is narrated

[2:06]by IBN potato and several others rasulullah is one of his companions

[2:10]a companion by the name of jabir IBN Abdullah and he tells

[2:19]him o Jaber you will live long enough until you will see

[2:24]one of my great grandchildren and that is Muhammad the son of

[2:39]and he said you will see him and he is a personality

[2:45]he will spread the knowledge in a way where others have not

[3:01]great great grandson this great companion of rasulullah he became older you

[3:11]know jabber was one of the first people to visit the grave

[3:13]of Imam Hussain and the arbahin he gets older and he starts

[3:22]walking around and he keeps saying so some people think this man

[3:30]has gone mad an old man but then he tells them no

[3:34]this is the Hadith of rasulullah he told me that I will

[3:36]see one of his great-grandchildren and he asked me to send salaam

[3:43]to him so one day he enters into the house and he

[3:46]sees a young child and he asks him what's your name he

[3:52]tells him my name is Muhammad the son of Ali the son

[3:54]of Hussein and he tells him you are al-baqar that your grandfather

[4:03]told us about and your grandfather sent salaam to you and peace

[4:21]be upon my grandfather rasulullah and peace be upon you o Jaber

[4:27]my dear brothers and sisters Imam like all of the imams they

[4:34]lived through different times he was three years old when it was

[4:42]the day of Ash the day of ashram he was there he

[4:44]was three years old and he lived under the persecution of Benny

[4:49]umayya then they began they became too their what caught their attention

[4:59]was the growth of the Islamic empire so they stopped paying so

[5:06]much attention to what's going on in Medina and this gave some

[5:10]relative freedom to Imam so this is why you see that he

[6:43]Hadith that used to narrate narrations from Imam al-baqar alone Islam he

[6:50]would discipline his students and he would teach them how to be

[6:56]proper students so that they could deliver the message today a lot

[6:58]of people they ask how do I know how to pray how

[7:01]do I know how to fast how do we know all of

[7:04]these specifics and details when it comes to the rulings we know

[7:08]them because of the narrations of the imams of the one of

[7:13]his narrator one of his companions by the name of he says

[7:30]I want you to sit in the Masjid and give fatwa teach

[7:37]people educate people about their about their wajib and their macro and

[7:41]their mustachab and their Haram let people know because I want to

[7:45]be proud and see from my Shia individuals like you Scholars like

[7:53]you and this is Scholars they didn't just give people sometimes someone

[8:01]comes and asks them Halal or Haram they wouldn't just do that

[8:06]they would go further and they would explain to them how they

[8:09]derive these rules so that this person later on is going to

[8:12]have a principle and a foundation to abide by now my dear

[8:20]brothers and sisters he was poisoned in Medina by according to narrations

[8:26]by the Khalifa Hashem and Imam he passes away in Medina and

[8:37]his son Imam buries him next to Imam Zain Allah and next

[8:40]to the grave of Imam al-hasan we ask Allah to grant us

[8:56]of Imam al-baqarah and I invite you all to reflect on the

[9:00]lives of Imam al-baqar during these days I will end the first

[11:48]the Hajj becomes upon them Whoever has the financial means Whoever has

[12:06]no restrictions no limitations then upon this person this year I know

[12:12]some people they paid twenty thousand dollars to go and perform the

[12:17]Hajj but this is an obligation if Allah has given you then

[12:21]that means it becomes wedge upon you of course Allah does not

[12:24]want a person to go poor because they went to Hajj but

[12:28]if you have money to survive and you have money to pay

[12:32]the bills and you have a house and you have everything then

[12:35]Hajj becomes wedge upon you Hajj is an obligation upon all Muslims

[12:40]and my dear brothers and sisters there are many lessons that we

[12:45]learn from the Hajj one of the most important lessons is that

[12:49]if you do something for God this will remain forever houses collapse

[12:56]houses are demolished but the house that was built by Ibrahim stays

[13:02]standing and millions of people throughout the generations they go to visit

[13:09]that sacred house and that is the house of Allah commanded Ibrahim

[13:18]five thousand years ago over five thousand years ago before there were

[13:22]any Muslims before there were any monotheists Ibrahim is the father of

[13:26]monotheism Allah commands Ibrahim to go to Mecca and build the house

[13:35]of Allah Ibrahim he raises the foundations of the house along with

[13:48]his son is now that you have built the Kaaba now I

[13:58]want you to go and invite people to come and visit me

[14:01]in my home visit me in my house Ibrahim tells Allah who

[14:08]is here there was no one in that land he says o

[14:18]Allah this plant has no it's a Barren land this land has

[14:23]no life this land has no trees it has no water but

[14:25]this is the house of Allah this is the place that is

[14:30]destined for millions of people to come and visit and do to

[14:35]laugh around the Kaaba Allah tells him o Ibrahim your job is

[14:39]to invite people and I will deliver the message to them so

[14:43]Ibrahim he stood on the mountain of Safa and marwa and the

[14:50]mountains surrounding Makkah after he built the Kaaba and he began to

[14:53]call out a Johannes o people come and visit the house of

[14:59]Allah o people this is an invitation from Allah come and be

[15:06]the guests of God Allah is the host and you will be

[15:11]the guests of Allah and Allah tells him invite people for the

[15:27]Hajj they will come walking and they will come riding and they

[15:31]will come in many ways from the deepest corners of the world

[15:37]people will gather in this location to perform the Hajj so that

[15:43]they witness Before Their Eyes benefits for themselves and they remember the

[15:53]name of Allah during those sacred days and these are the sacred

[15:57]days the first 10 days this is the time to have the

[16:02]thikkar of Allah remember God more during these days Ibrahim invited people

[16:22]and the Hadith says that that invitation from Prophet Ibrahim reached every

[16:29]single one of us in the realm of particles and atoms every

[16:34]single one of us heard that invitation because Allah mentions in the

[16:43]Quran that God spoke to every single creation to every single soul

[16:58]Allah says in the before we came into this life Allah asked

[17:04]every single soul am I not your lord and everyone said yes

[17:07]meaning there was a conversation before we came into this life and

[17:13]the realm of particles and atoms and in that Realm we received

[17:17]the invitation to perform the Hajj and the Hadith says that the

[17:21]number of times your soul called out is the number of times

[17:28]that you will be performing the Hajj in your life some people

[17:32]they called out once some people they did not call out at

[17:38]all and others they called out they called out as much as

[17:43]they can to perform the Hajj so this is why we ask

[17:45]Allah to give us the opportunity to perform the Hajj and of

[17:53]course yes we mentioned the Hajj has become very expensive and unfortunately

[17:57]many people are unable to perform the Hajj well of course the

[18:04]Hajj comes with the forgiveness from Allah Allah forgives all of the

[18:09]sins of those who are in Hajj and the Hadith says that

[18:11]when the sun sets in Arafat then it sets with all of

[18:17]the sins everyone who's standing and out of that they will come

[18:20]the next day will be like a fresh new day for them

[18:24]now of course if you are not able to perform the Hajj

[18:30]I still recommend and advise all my brothers and sisters to go

[18:34]and see the Kaaba to go and visit rasulullah to go and

[18:40]see this is where tohed was built this is where Islam was

[18:45]built this is where the Masjid of rasulullah was because there are

[18:48]many benefits of being in that area one of the most beautiful

[18:55]a second benefit we said the first benefit of the Hajj is

[18:58]that you do something for God it will remain forever just like

[19:03]the house that Ibrahim built for Allah and the Hajj is alive

[19:08]until today the second benefit my dear brothers and sisters one of

[19:12]the most beautiful things that you witness when you go to the

[19:17]Hajj and you don't see this anywhere in the world not a

[19:19]single place in the world you will see this and this is

[19:23]the equality in the eyes of Allah over there you see the

[19:30]rich and the poor and the white and the black and people

[19:34]from all over the world all types of citizens from all over

[19:41]the world they're all dressed in one simple plain clothed and that

[19:46]is the Haram which is very similar to the kefan because this

[19:51]is the reality my dear brothers and sisters no matter how rich

[19:54]you are no matter how powerful you are when we are placed

[19:59]in the ground when we are buried we're wrapped with a coffin

[20:02]it doesn't matter how rich you are it doesn't matter how much

[20:06]money you had in your bank account all of that doesn't matter

[20:08]and in the Hajj we embody that when we go to arafats

[20:15]when we enter into Mecca all of the judge they have to

[20:20]wear simple clothing clothing that are not even stitched for the men

[20:23]the men they have to remove their head covering you can't put

[20:28]any adornments you can't wear any jewelry you can't carry anything with

[20:33]you that shows that you will have the symbol or the status

[20:36]or from this community that's it we're all equal in the eyes

[20:41]of Allah you're standing doing tawaf next to people from all over

[20:45]the world and this is a beauty that you don't see anywhere

[20:47]else other than in the Hajj because everywhere else you go you

[20:52]go to some mosques you go to some communities you could tell

[20:55]oh this is for this people this is for this group of

[20:59]people by the clothes that you were wearing people could see by

[21:02]everything that you have even the hand you can't even ride you

[21:05]can't you have you can't be covered so that's it everyone is

[21:11]equal in the eyes of Allah and this is a reminder for

[21:18]us in the age of discrimination and racism we need to be

[21:21]reminded that we are all equal before Allah verily in the eyes

[21:37]of Allah the one who's the closest is the one who has

[21:42]the most aqua my dear brothers and sisters while we're talking about

[21:47]equality and differences this last week the whole world or at least

[21:54]in this part of the world we're occupied with two news one

[21:59]a week ago we heard about the migrant uh the boat that

[22:06]had over 750 migrants and just a little bit over a hundred

[22:10]survived that means over 600 people they drowned to their death in

[22:20]the Mediterranean and this is this is not something new it's just

[22:24]that we haven't been hearing about it I was reading since 2014

[22:31]since 2014 15 to 20 000 people have drowned in the Mediterranean

[22:34]15 to 20 000 people have drowned to their death in the

[22:42]Mediterranean because they're refugees in fact today today the off the Canary

[22:45]Islands there was also another drowning that was going on but you

[22:49]didn't hear the whole world talking about it in fact many of

[22:54]us don't even know of this news you don't hear about this

[22:56]why because these people in the eyes of some they're worthless these

[23:01]people they're poor these people they don't carry any weight that's why

[23:07]no one cares about their life and no one cares about their

[23:13]death and then in the last few days a couple of billionaires

[23:17]they get in a vessel and they go deep down to explore

[23:20]the Titanic the Titanic that sank in 1912 they want to go

[23:27]and they paid each person paid three hundred thousand dollars 250 pounds

[23:32]three hundred and thousand three hundred thousand dollars per person just to

[23:37]go for an hour or two hours to look at the site

[23:42]of the Titanic where it sank and then come up they had

[23:46]something in mind and Allah had something else at the end of

[23:51]the day every day everyone has their Destiny and we ask Allah

[23:55]to have mercy upon them upon everyone who is worthy and deserving

[24:01]of the mercy but my dear brothers and sisters this is a

[24:04]lesson for us there's a lot of lessons that we can learn

[24:10]from this Allah says in one verse in the Quran this verse

[24:25]it fits perfect with the scenario corruption has become so vast on

[24:34]the land and in the ocean why a lot of times when

[24:40]something bad happens people say why does God do this why is

[24:42]God allowing this to happen this is not Allah the 600 migrants

[24:49]that sank that wasn't God that is because that is because of

[24:53]the corruption that's going on he has a Hadith he says he

[25:05]says no one goes hungry except when a rich person takes from

[25:12]the resources of that other person that's why a person goes hungry

[25:15]otherwise Allah created this world Allah gave us all resources there should

[25:23]be no one that goes hungry there should be no one that

[25:26]is in need that is suffering but it's because one percent of

[25:34]the world they want to control 99 of the wealth and they

[25:36]do control 99 of the wealth then you have poverty then you

[25:39]have suffering then you have people that want to migrate that get

[25:44]on boats and put their lives in danger just so that they

[25:47]could have a bite to eat just so that they could have

[25:51]a better life this is one group of people that's caused by

[25:53]corruption and then there's another group of people who are so filthy

[25:59]rich that they've ran out of things to do with their money

[26:01]how am I going to show off to my friends I bought

[26:04]the car I bought the airplane I went to this place I

[26:08]went to this place everyone else has done that I have to

[26:10]come and say something that no one else has done this is

[26:14]why now we have space exploration they're going and they're exploring space

[26:19]paying how much to explore space and then now you have deep

[26:23]sea exploration putting their lives in danger people are free to do

[26:29]what they want with their money but at the end of the

[26:31]day Allah is going to ask me what did I do when

[26:35]others were in need what did I do when I saw people

[26:39]suffering when I saw people they were hungry people they don't have

[26:42]food to eat people are dying out of hunger I'm going to

[26:49]be asked about that and Hadith from rasulullah he says the one

[26:57]who sleeps with a full stomach and their neighbor is hungry this

[27:03]person is not from me don't come don't come and say I'm

[27:05]Muslim don't associate yourself with me when you have that lifestyle my

[27:09]dear brothers and sisters these are some lessons that we should learn

[27:15]from this catastrophe that happened at the end of the day even

[27:18]catastrophes they come and they bring lessons so that we can change

[27:21]our lifestyle and Allah says they cause the corruption and they face

[27:28]the consequences but let other people learn learn so that they could

[27:38]return to Allah my dear brothers and sisters just some announcements inshallah

[27:43]today at 5 PM we're going to be having a journey of

[27:48]the Hajj for the children and I recommend you bring your children

[27:52]where we have inshallah some activities for them they're going to be

[27:58]doing the Hajj and this will get them to learn more about

[28:01]the Hajj and insha Allah once they get older they can themselves

[28:07]go and perform the Hajj and visit the house of Allah the

[28:11]second is that tomorrow inshallah also tomorrow at 2 p.m we will

[28:19]be having the first uh Mecca science fair and there are some

[28:22]of the youth and this is an a program organized by the

[28:27]youth and the science fair is also those who are um bring

[28:30]making science projects presenting science projects they are from the youth as

[28:34]well this will be a very beautiful and nice activity I recommend

[28:38]you come and we're going to be having uh hot dogs and

[28:44]burgers inshallah on Tuesday 8 PM we're going to have the Ahmad

[28:47]of arafah Tuesday 8pm and Wednesday 8pm as well because there was

[28:54]differences in opinion regarding the Halal so we're going to be holding

[28:57]it two days and uh Wednesday 9 A.M and Thursday 9 A.M

[29:02]we will have Salat inshallah here and we ask Allah to bless

[29:08]you all to accept all of your prayers foreign [Music]
