[1:30]to unforeseen circumstances but inshallah we are back today and we will

[1:34]be back next week also insha Allah for those of you who

[1:39]haven't had the chance to watch previous episodes in this series let

[1:41]me give you a brief insight this series intends to be aired

[1:49]every Sunday at 4 pm UK time and it is themed around

[1:50]the quranic phrase of yes alunica meaning they ask you this phrase

[1:56]appears in the Holy Quran around 15 times in reference to when

[2:02]the people used to ask the prophet all sorts of questions they

[2:05]would ask about gambling about orphans about moon sighting and so on

[2:10]so today in this series we will seek to ask religious burning

[2:14]questions in each episode today we will be talking about the concept

[2:19]of madism the evidence behind it I pray that you and I

[2:24]find the information that we will learn today beneficial and go away

[2:29]thinking about the points uh that we will be empowered with today

[2:33]insha Allah joining me is Sheikh Ali Abbas yusufi Sheikh has been

[2:38]raised in London and has studied law he eventually moved to study

[2:43]in najaf in the Holy Land of and has been there for

[2:50]nine years until he returned in 2018.

[2:53]salaam alaikum foreign thank you so much for taking your time to

[3:07]join us this uh fine Sunday evening the window um is in

[3:12]front of me this um sun is shining in London which is

[3:15]good alhamdulillah so today we are discussing mahadism but before we actually

[3:21]delve into the deeper aspects that we've planned for our conversation I

[3:26]just want to introduce to our viewers our other video series titled

[3:33]hasten to our Aid these are um a collection of short clips

[3:36]of around five minutes or so based on the theme of the

[3:40]12th Imam Ali Salaam the series is currently on a pause but

[3:43]I'm told that you won't have to wait too long for it

[3:46]and inshallah they will be restarting um within a week inshallah the

[3:51]reason why I'm mentioning this series is that Sheikh Ali Abbas here

[3:56]is actually um the author Behind These Clips behind the other Whitney

[4:00]Series so let's just start today's conversation um with some introduction around

[4:08]the other igne series please so Shake if you wouldn't mind um

[4:11]please introduce me and the viewers to the adrigne series how would

[4:15]you um describe it and what sort of a thesis is it

[4:22]built around well it's a project initiated by the Islamic education department

[4:27]of Federation and it was to bring together a number of key

[4:37]points in material in regards to our belief on the holy Imam

[4:41]Sharif and in a way in a manner that would uh appeal

[4:49]to the youth and to The Wider Community around the world in

[4:59]the English medium and in short videos and so I was given

[5:02]the task to do some research and prepare some materials for the

[5:09]eventual presentation and release of these videos and alhamdulillah gave you the

[5:15]topic to be a part of this project in my small way

[5:18]then which was then delivered by other Scholars I have done my

[5:25]research and I handed over to the to the team responsible then

[5:27]after that it's in their hands how if they want to tweak

[5:32]it or change it or format it in any way they wanted

[5:36]to uh so this alhamdulillah has been presented by a number of

[5:42]Scholars know that they had their influence on the material given as

[5:48]well some quite um interesting points you've shared about this series already

[5:52]so um I like the fact that you mentioned that the whole

[5:56]concept is to bring the information down for easy access to the

[6:00]public and how um to just make it easily understandable and much

[6:05]accessible which obviously is much needed in today's world with so much

[6:10]myths and information rightly or wrongly so that that's out there by

[6:17]the top of the month you mentioned that you um uh authored

[6:20]these series and then they go out to the various Scholars who

[6:24]then further presented and obviously add on their own uh flavor to

[6:27]to the videos so how would you say the structure of the

[6:30]series is actually set out so the initial plan was to uh

[6:37]give uh 12 subjects in regards to the Imam so that there

[6:41]will be 12 videos but I understand some were divided and some

[6:47]might be combined together I mean there's a lot of information that

[6:51]one could give On Any Given uh subject within the whole concept

[6:57]of mahadevism so there's a lot of information to then pack into

[7:03]a small video and that was one of the key uh the

[7:09]key or the main issues that we may have faced in condensing

[7:14]everything and making sure that it is although it is brought together

[7:18]in five minutes but the information given is valuable and fruitful the

[7:23]same level we don't we never want to uh bring down the

[7:31]level we want to still uh deal with the issues that are

[7:33]there and some of them might be academic at the same time

[7:38]we need to condense it we need to bring it to five

[7:40]minutes or so so that was a an arduous task and I

[7:45]don't envy the role of the presenters in having to do that

[7:50]or the video editors yeah yeah I know I can imagine um

[7:53]it's hard enough trying to uh you know um have all this

[7:59]research in a palatable Manner and then obviously condensing into five minutes

[8:03]um but looking at the series along the way it's uh doing

[8:07]well and I just want to remind our audience to please uh

[8:10]have a look at the past few clips that have been released

[8:12]and of course um subscribe to the Blessed tree media channel for

[8:15]further notifications um of the new releases inshallah um Sheikh you also

[8:22]mentioned that you did the research behind this and you referred to

[8:25]various sources so could you please enlighten us where and how you

[8:29]started your research what sort of books did you refer to and

[8:33]any um you know sources that uh you would you are looking

[8:37]into for this particular series this was a task I think it

[8:44]it wasn't difficult in regards to getting the research done because our

[8:50]Imam has been the Imam for more than a thousand years and

[8:54]the scholars have written about the Imam since his Imam has begun

[8:59]and there's a plethora of work that has already been done from

[9:07]the very beginning like Sarah and so on I mean the books

[9:27]uh have uh you know for any student of Islam it is

[9:31]not a difficult task to find the information and it's uh the

[9:38]the difficulty was we're presenting it in a way that would be

[9:43]palatable as you said and it would be comprehensive at the same

[9:50]time um so and even today's in today's time we have uh

[9:56]enormous encyclopedic works that are there that are available in the Arabic

[10:06]language and we have easy access to Hadith books as well everything

[10:09]has been digitized so it's so much easier to do that research

[10:11]and it is something alhamdulillah that's is available in abundance to those

[10:17]who are The Seekers of knowledge alhamdulillah I was given a task

[10:22]to do this for this particular project but there are projects and

[10:26]there's double ears across the world that is happening in regards to

[10:29]the Imam of Taiwan is foreign thank you so much for sharing

[10:38]that and I think what you mentioned is highly relevant the fact

[10:41]that so many books of Hadith and sources and Shia Islam is

[10:45]available widely online so uh again another reminder to our viewers that

[10:52]we really have no excuse um with such shows our fingertips and

[10:55]you know various books that shake has already mentioned that we can

[11:01]easily refer to so inshallah we can all make um our best

[11:02]effort and we can all um you know join the Journey of

[11:06]studying together inshallah um there's also a shake there's certain thoughts and

[11:11]certain thinkers who claim that there is no quranic references to the

[11:16]12th Imam is this something that the series deals with is this

[11:21]um something that we can gain from the series about references of

[11:24]the 12th Imam within the Holy Quran yes this inshallah it will

[11:30]deal with this matter the series um the uh the issue about

[11:39]quranic references isn't something new it has been dealt with by the

[11:42]earliest of books and um thinkers I mean you said that certain

[11:48]videos are not out yet so inshallah if this isn't there already

[11:54]in uh then inshallah it will be out soon in regards the

[11:58]quranic references about foreign ERS who are speaking about the lack of

[12:14]references in the Quran I you know we can we can use

[12:15]the word thinker in a very loose sense but this a number

[12:22]of key verses that we can go through but I don't think

[12:26]um we have that time to go into all of the verses

[12:31]that refer to uh in the conceptualization of the Imam does it

[12:41]need come from the Quran a lot of people read certain verses

[12:46]of the Quran and they think what what can it mean and

[12:49]then we connect it to the the Hadith of the holy prophet

[12:52]sallallahu alaihi wasallam to start off with and then we connect with

[12:58]that all of the Hadith then the picture becomes quite clear and

[13:03]Vivid for us um so for example there's uh one verse in

[13:11]regards to Imam al-hajja in which Allah says that Allah sent the

[13:19]message the message with the messenger he is the one who sent

[13:23]him and if I recall this has occurred this particular segment of

[13:35]the Ayah has occurred twice in the holy world so when someone

[13:39]looks at this Ayah he will see that this hasn't happened yet

[13:44]Allah has sent the prophet with the message with the Quran with

[13:49]the religion of Islam with the hidayah with Dina with the religion

[13:55]of Islam and why so that eventually Islam would be the dominant

[14:03]religion that didn't occur in the lifetime of rasulullah hasn't occurred until

[14:11]today so we're still waiting for that and when will that happen

[14:16]again we connected to the Hadith of the prophecy of elements will

[14:23]come from rasulullah and the daughter from his daughters uh lineage and

[14:30]who will fill the world with Justice and Equity just as it

[14:37]is at that time filled with Injustice and oppression so this is

[14:46]a natural logical rational process that one would go through and there's

[14:53]another verse of the Holy Quran verse 55 a number of things

[14:59]are mentioned in it in which there is going to be peace

[15:04]and serenity Muslims will no longer be madlu okay and uh when

[15:12]the mufasarin have discussed this particular ayahallah foreign to the religion of

[15:40]Islam that Allah has expressed his River with he will make its

[15:46]dominant over everyone and then Allah will then exchange substitute that was

[15:52]them in the hearts of the Muslims foreign and we see the

[16:11]the commentaries from the Sunnah as well like I've mentioned in the

[16:16]the script for this particular episode where he um speaks about this

[16:24]Ayah it presents various views and then he mentions the hadees of

[16:28]there being 12 imams and then he says and he's one of

[16:34]them is the man so there is an understanding that this is

[16:39]that there's a connection of future events that the Quran is prophesizing

[16:43]and the concept of that is abundantly clear in a number of

[16:49]verses it's quite um in the sense that though he's not directly

[17:02]mentioned by name I think um you've you're very nicely clarified the

[17:07]matter that um the the Quran prophesizes events and obviously one of

[17:14]the uh prophecies that is yet to come true is that of

[17:19]Imam as a man inshallah and that's as clear as it gets

[17:22]about um you know his reference within the Holy Quran so thank

[17:25]you so much for sharing that um moving on slightly away from

[17:31]that in the sense that at least so far in so far

[17:32]the discussion has been about Imam and Mahdi what about those who

[17:39]um doubt the narrations about Imam Almighty where they um they claim

[17:45]that such existence is impossible how how would you answer such comments

[17:52]um it's it's a difficult question to answer not because um that

[18:02]is a strong claim but because the claim is so weak when

[18:07]someone is telling you in in the like now it's it's a

[18:11]quarter past 12 as quarter past four and someone tells me it

[18:18]is night time where do I start explaining that it's daytime it

[18:23]is it is uh that is the uh the reason for the

[18:27]difficulty in responding to this where do we start that there are

[18:32]thousands of narrations about element in the books in the books of

[18:42]the shias and our Scholars have compiled them they have presented them

[18:46]the late marriage has written an encyclopedic work foreign so this is

[19:08]about all of the narrations it brings all the narrations he does

[19:13]he puts him under various chapters because they share common kind of

[19:18]indications so they and there are thousands of narrations that he presents

[19:21]and we we find that there is there are there of course

[19:32]certain elements or certain like the signs of his maybe based on

[19:38]singularations or a handful of narrations but the main Concepts have come

[19:44]to us with and at every stage of our guidance from the

[19:48]beginning from the holy prophets every one of the 11 imams preceding

[19:58]have explained and prophesized the Imam and when we now the very

[20:08]first um sign of him that this is a Quran very first

[20:19]alarm at the very first sign is they believe in the rape

[20:28]and how do we believe in the rape simply because we just

[20:33]have some kind of transient experience something that we can't really uh

[20:41]do Allah so this is that if you are Sonic if you

[20:47]are truthful in your claims bring your Buddha when something is or

[20:52]an entity is a ripe such as how do we prove it

[20:58]and the scholars will say there are two ways of proving it

[21:03]by looking at the cause over looking at the effect said he

[21:12]has no cause we will look at his effects the effects of

[21:16]him being the ultimate and absolute cause of everything and we get

[21:23]to Allah through that for example if we have fire uh if

[21:26]if I see smoke if I feel a heat I will understand

[21:30]there is a fire it's one way through the core through the

[21:35]through the effects rather and if I see the fire I see

[21:40]the cause I can my mind will also then go to the

[21:42]fact that there will be heat around that fire and there will

[21:46]be smoke emanating from that fire and the view of that fire

[21:49]so we can do it in two ways so Allah will look

[21:56]at the effects with future events we look at everything that's coming

[22:01]before it indicating it like everything is pointing towards that particular personality

[22:06]or that particular event with the the coming of the final prophet

[22:11]of Allah adventures time and time again that he was prophesied therefore

[22:20]why do not they believe in him they had knowledge of the

[22:29]coming of the final prophet and this was a burhan for them

[22:37]the Quran speaks as that uh knowledge and those prophecies by the

[22:42]prophets of the past as burhan for them and as it's for

[22:47]them that therefore they must now believe in him because they have

[22:50]got the knowledge now they've got the information in the same way

[22:54]we see all of these prophecies about the twelfth Imam and there

[23:00]being that you know the son of the 11th Imam being the

[23:05]12th Imam generation after generation and that does not then lead to

[23:10]any doubt at all in the minds of the what we need

[23:13]you very nicely LED on to my next question where you know

[23:19]we've just discussed how much information there is about the 12th Imam

[23:23]that there really should not be that in the minds of the

[23:25]meaning about his existence so in your opinion why would there be

[23:31]misguidance and doubts about the 12th imam's existence If there really should

[23:35]be no room for that and I think it's it's a test

[23:43]the period of Labor is a test and through that test Allah

[23:49]is uh bringing into action a kind of filtration process that through

[23:59]which the true meaning will be able to be identifiable and those

[24:05]who are lost in this world due to the misguidances that are

[24:10]out there the deviators who are giving their deviants and misguiding the

[24:15]people they're out there and uh the the process of filtration uh

[24:20]is where the cream gets to the top and then that is

[24:28]the um the beginning of that Revolution that cream that is at

[24:39]the top while everything else is unfiltered away so uh even um

[24:45]the narrations uh speak of uh this uh as a process of

[24:53]talahis as a process of filtration and there's a book written in

[24:56]the beginning of that of the time of we call it so

[25:03]this the the the discussion on the raber and the the the

[25:08]hikima behind raber is another topic but because of the fact that

[25:14]there is a veil and that Veil is giving rise to maybe

[25:21]excuses that we might have we see this in a number of

[25:28]instances not just about the Imam but maybe the distance from the

[25:32]holy prophet the people who say um that you know someone said

[25:39]at that time in the life of the holy prophet of Allah

[25:41]and people say it today that kitabullah is enough for us we

[25:46]don't need that Prophet we don't need this one we don't need

[25:49]the Hadith so these are the Quran is the modern quranists so

[25:53]this is a I think um a process that some humans will

[25:59]uh go through that kind of thought process that do I believe

[26:05]in the rape because of this because it's not there I will

[26:16]approach this with an agnostic mindset where the agnostics will say for

[26:20]example that God exists it doesn't exist I don't know and I

[26:23]don't really I'm not too bothered because it's not here in my

[26:29]life that connection because of the favor because of a lack of

[26:33]me seeing the Imam or seeing God that creates some kind of

[26:40]barrier but this is the ultimate test this is where Iman is

[26:44]tested that do you truly believe in Allah do we believe in

[26:50]the imams such that we have a real firm faith in Allah

[26:52]and due to that a lot of people get unfortunately filtered out

[26:58]of the process and indeed there are actors that are there who

[27:05]are the deviators who are creating this Inner Health in the community

[27:08]and they have their agendas and they have their motives for doing

[27:13]so as well yeah yeah so I guess it's vital for us

[27:18]to always be um aware of who we're listening to and what

[27:21]sort of information is being filtered down to us so be um

[27:26]you know be be on God I guess with with those regards

[27:28]we we've sort of for you you know been you've touched on

[27:34]you know the imam's label so I think before we delve into

[27:38]that sort of aspect um that sort of sphere of the iman's

[27:42]life I think this is a good time to take a short

[27:45]break and uh when we are back after our break we can

[27:50]discuss more about the labor of of the Imam inshallah I didn't

[27:53]mention this at the beginning for which I do apologize um we

[27:57]will be taking questions from the audience if we have the time

[32:23]here with Sheikh Ali Abbas yusufi to discuss about machism the concept

[32:28]and evidence we've been talking about various things you know in relation

[32:34]to quranic references about Imam Zaman we've been talking about the authenticity

[32:39]of his existence and there is one question that does come to

[32:43]mind at this point um in the imams labor there is also

[32:45]several um deviators um whilst uh you know we're moving along with

[32:54]our day-to-day lives but there's definitely some deviators that um uh sort

[33:00]of have been filtered through into our lives with regards to Imam

[33:03]almati Sheikh is there any comment you'd like to make on on

[33:09]that regard there have been deviators um from The Hub from the

[33:16]path of a Huck since the very beginning and um it is

[33:21]you know Allah who knows what is in their hearts and why

[33:24]they are doing it but often they bring about Concepts which are

[33:32]incorrect and sometimes they present Concepts which are correct but they are

[33:39]meant uh to misguide people it is um so uh we need

[33:49]to just be Discerning about these matters um with and sometimes it

[33:58]is as as we read in suratul that sometimes when those who

[34:03]are weak in the faith they they talk sometimes it is they

[34:06]have this ability of speaking well as well and communicating well and

[34:11]so sometime in nowadays they might coat their lack of knowledge and

[34:21]their purpose in deviating people with a lot of with like a

[34:26]coat of Academia um and sometimes some more meaning might be misguided

[34:31]by this or it might at least create some shukook in their

[34:35]hearts about certain Concepts which are accepted completely by consensus amongst our

[34:47]scholarship and therefore my advice is to when such things happen which

[34:55]you know uh we shouldn't not ask the questions we should ask

[34:58]questions we should inquire and gain greater and greater moralism but to

[35:03]get the answers we need to refer to those Scholars who are

[35:10]bona fide Scholars who have studied well and they have gone through

[35:14]the hausa process and they think objectively there's no other agenda that

[35:23]is there and they are reliable in that sense and there is

[35:27]a level of tatawa as well um because Allah says that those

[35:41]who do the hadeem and Allah this comes from what from so

[35:49]when there are given even if that person says no I don't

[35:55]believe in this but he's asking the questions and he's not answering

[36:00]he's leaving these things in the minds of the people then this

[36:05]has come out of a lack of tatwa so that and these

[36:12]spiritual aspects must be seen in the scholars that we approach as

[36:17]well um and also uh referring to social media platforms is not

[36:26]the best idea in getting realities and truths uh to yourselves it's

[36:31]it's you know published works and books that are there alhamdulillah in

[36:35]abundance that we can refer to those that have been published by

[36:39]reputable and Bonafide uh publishers sure no thank you so much for

[36:46]that advice and I um just want to take this opportunity that

[36:49]uh the fact that you're here with us today and we have

[36:54]uh a live audience who are following this show so please um

[36:58]to my dear viewers don't forget that we do have a uh

[37:03]Bonafide scholar sitting within within us today so feel free to drop

[37:06]your questions and inshallah we will do our Atmos to get check

[37:12]uh Ali Abbas to uh answer them insha Allah um so moving

[37:16]on further into the labor now of Imam Zaman um some of

[37:21]the speculations that we have or um the uh questions that do

[37:28]arise is uh concerning the existence of the 12th Imam um or

[37:34]rather his age um and and how would you approach this issue

[37:39]regards to the age of the 12th Imam this is an issue

[37:45]that comes up a lot I mean this is something that is

[37:48]not normal it's not natural so it is it is seen as

[37:53]something that is Supernatural and therefore sometimes people might have a hard

[38:00]time believing in it but when we look at this issue or

[38:06]any issue of the supernatural order we need to ask two questions

[38:11]the first question is is it possible and the second question is

[38:16]did it happen yeah so it's simply something being possible doesn't make

[38:24]it a reality and when something is a reality it doesn't make

[38:30]it a reality in this particular instance there's a certain stages that

[38:34]we need to go with go through these questions uh do arise

[38:37]so what they say is the best of the best proof of

[38:45]possibility is the occurrence in other circumstances in other occasions so once

[38:51]the Quran has told us that new Salam has lived for at

[38:59]least 950 years because then there's 950 years were is a period

[39:02]of the belief in his Nation and then he lived for a

[39:09]longer period in the Hadith give a different numbers of his actual

[39:13]age when he passed away and we have for example the story

[39:19]of the of when we look at Heather he's still alive and

[39:23]he is has been alive at least since the time of Musa

[39:28]and then we have for example the likes of after the period

[39:34]of Isa alaihi salaam and we get closer closer to the period

[39:37]of of uh the final message and we see that the Muslims

[39:44]all the Muslims who follow their and follow the Sunnah there is

[39:50]only one Hadith in regards to I'm talking about the uh our

[39:54]brothers and sisters there's one Hadith in sahih Muslim I believe in

[39:59]which that the Jal is said to be alive then at the

[40:03]time of the prophet when someone encounters him and he comes back

[40:07]he accepts Islam he comes back and tells the prophet about him

[40:12]the prophet that is that the judge so on one Hadith the

[40:17]Muslims are ready to believe that the girl is alive because it's

[40:21]a sahih Hadith and he's he's older than Imam was born according

[40:28]to most accounts in the year 255 after 255 years later approximately

[40:34]after the narration of this Hadith and uh the the whole occurrence

[40:41]of this man talking to the holy prophet about the judge you

[40:44]see it you know this Muslims are ready to believe in something

[40:50]that is Supernatural because this is is firstly is possible because this

[40:55]is from Allah and then secondly it has occurred it has happened

[41:02]numerous times and therefore in a general um excuse me Excuse Me

[41:13]An Occurrence generally speaking is the but now we have to see

[41:19]so that shouldn't be a problem the actual age of the Imam

[41:21]how can he be that old how can this happen how can

[41:24]that happen it's already been established that it is a possibility of

[41:30]Allah have undergone this process as well there's another example I could

[41:39]give in regards to a story in Surah about the man who

[41:42]passed by a city that was completely destroyed and Hadith tell us

[41:48]that this was Jose um uh so um whoever he was he

[41:55]seemed to be someone who was close to Allah he asked Allah

[41:58]that how will Allah bring together all of these remains of people

[42:03]all these skeletons that were scattered for example how will Allah bring

[42:09]him an old all the bodies back together like he will in

[42:12]the day of judgment he's just thinking about Allah that makes him

[42:15]sleep well uh he makes him you know he brings notes to

[42:21]him for a hundred years and then he brings him back to

[42:26]life he looks at the donkey and the donkey where we know

[42:29]the story the donkey is then closed with the skeletal remains and

[42:32]clothes with the Flesh and the donkey is brought back to life

[42:36]he looks at the food that he had the food is still

[42:41]as if it was a hundred years ago is nice and fresh

[42:45]bread is fresh all the other vegetables or whatever fruits that he

[42:51]had would be fresh and that the second example the first example

[42:55]is of course of rajya and Allah bringing the dead back to

[43:02]life whether it's in this Dunya or in the but the second

[43:06]example is quite pertinent to the longer life that Allah can give

[43:10]not just humans but food a piece of bread will go moldy

[43:16]and hard and stale after a couple of days nowadays it puts

[43:20]so much preservatives in it so that it'll be a few more

[43:25]days in those days okay couple of days the bread is no

[43:27]longer usable or edible now how you know a hundred years is

[43:37]how long in comparison to two days what is a multiple that

[43:41]Allah has given us all of these signs that so that we

[43:47]shouldn't have doubt about the the nature of this miracle what we

[43:51]should look at is whether it happened under all the proof that

[43:56]we see from the starting from the holy prophet and the Quran

[44:00]and all the prophecies and every Imam alaihi Salam telling us about

[44:04]and when he will come and he will be the second person

[44:08]from my alone to the third person or the fourth person and

[44:13]so on and there's so many narrations about the Allah Imam all

[44:17]of that he put it all together and we have a level

[44:22]of tawato that we do not see elsewhere yeah um that's super

[44:29]inspiring what you've you've shared with us actually in the sense that

[44:37]um one is it possible yes has it happened yes we've seen

[44:40]that several times in Islamic history and Beyond about the long ages

[44:45]of various Noble Olea Jake you've mentioned a few terms that I

[44:50]just want to clarify for my own understanding and for the viewers

[44:53]understanding you mentioned the water and uh would you mind just clarifying

[45:04]the um meanings of those trans uh those phrases please if you

[45:08]wouldn't mind so these are the certain classifications uh that we give

[45:15]a Hadith for the purposes of uh looking at them as either

[45:19]uh something that is completely 100 percent it gives certitude 100 certitude

[45:29]or anything less than that now when we look at the proof

[45:34]that gives certitude then a Hadith that is one of those proofs

[45:40]okay means that this Hadith has been narrated from the assume generation

[45:50]after Generation by narrators in a such abundance in such numbers the

[45:56]quantity is so great given the context as well that um it

[46:02]is going to be now is logically impossible for one to think

[46:08]that they have all conspired on a lie so therefore you know

[46:16]it's if an event has occurred in a distant land I haven't

[46:19]seen it but if or if everyone is talking about in social

[46:22]media on the news and everywhere um then I have no reason

[46:29]to doubt it it is it's 100 verified because they will not

[46:34]all come together on a lie and conspire in that way so

[46:39]that that is what uh Hadith and that is what we find

[46:46]in the Corpus of our Hadith in regards so the whole concept

[46:54]of elements as well as many uh um things and elements about

[47:01]his existence right um is where there are doubts doubt and sugarheart

[47:11]again some kind of like questions arise some kind of right um

[47:17]uh what's the right word for that some kind of deviation comes

[47:23]up or some kind of confusion rather confusion comes about certain factors

[47:29]right so in essence there really should be you know because the

[47:33]concept of the Iman is yeah and he's he was born then

[47:45]as the son of a woman about it other than you know

[47:53]certain smaller things such as the signs of his the word certain

[47:56]things are at home mention in abundance but there are certain things

[48:00]that you might find a Hadith on um we don't need to

[48:07]believe in it 100 it is a possible sign so um we

[48:11]don't have to believe in everything related to the Imam 100 percent

[48:14]but at least the basic facts need to be understood sure level

[48:21]of certitude yeah yeah you you've also just mentioned signs of the

[48:27]um would you mind just sharing a few signs of the imam's

[48:31]reappearance then please there are a number of signs and there's some

[48:36]signs that are high to Mia and them some signs which are

[48:41]rare in some science which are going to happen they are they

[48:45]are verified by the Imam that they will happen and amongst them

[48:51]is the Rises of sophiani and the rise of the uh yemeni

[48:54]and uh the call from foreign which means that they are they

[49:07]will not happen definitively a hundred percent okay but what we see

[49:12]from those hoodies I mean inshallah in the actual videos we'll have

[49:17]a um uh when they when they get prepared and they're out

[49:21]there for the moment there will be a an episode inshallah about

[49:25]the signs of the whole of the Imam and focusing on the

[49:31]uh on the major signs and the um the certain signs but

[49:35]there are many other signs that give us a social look uh

[49:46]on society prior to the Advent of the world and I think

[49:52]those things are quite important as well as they are they do

[49:54]come up come across in the in the books of the Sunnah

[49:59]uh in the books of Hadith quite a lot about the social

[50:04]Decay that will happen but Injustice that is going to be there

[50:08]um so this this includes the the matter of higher and the

[50:14]lack thereof at that time where there will be such promiscuity and

[50:19]indecency the problem is that when I say these words we look

[50:24]at the west and we look at Societies in the west and

[50:29]we look at that as promiscuity and indecency but the real lack

[50:34]of Haya and the lack of the deep promiscuity and indecency would

[50:38]occur when hijab is not observed but our standards have dropped so

[50:46]much in regards to that particular issue the issues related to males

[50:49]and females and how one gender will want to be like the

[50:53]other and they will dress like the other and we see this

[50:58]kind of issue of gender dysphoria and gender neutrality occurring nowadays and

[51:03]we see the kind of issues of Haram acts that are happening

[51:06]we see a decay of family values the family values that Islam

[51:16]teaches foreign we see that the Hadith says that the the man

[51:21]will in order to appease his wife will do a cook of

[51:26]his parents a man who wanted to appease a friend he will

[51:28]do a hook and he will be disobedient to his parents and

[51:33]he will not uphold his obligations toward his parents to those closest

[51:40]to us our children and our spouses and our parents it'll Decay

[51:45]it'll and then one of the things that I've been prophesied you

[51:51]mentioned about the heart and the deviate is that give rise to

[51:54]them that will also increase as well have mentioned this as a

[52:01]prophecy that closer to the time as a labor goes on and

[52:05]on there will be people who'll be thinking that no he doesn't

[52:08]exist and these this is something that has been professional this for

[52:14]example prophecies are now the distance that the Muslims will have from

[52:19]the Quran they will understand that Quran so when a speaker comes

[52:23]and he says a lot of nonsense on YouTube or on the

[52:28]member anywhere and he will play with the word of the Quran

[52:31]the audience will be none the wiser and they will be played

[52:35]and there will be food they'll be deviated other Haram things like

[52:41]the abundance of Music we see music is everywhere now we cannot

[52:45]get away from it and much of it is Haram we have

[52:49]an abundance of Labor and interest usury the whole economic system is

[52:54]based on that and we see a rejection of hadiths as well

[53:00]we see in Alberta Hadith in which the prophet is warning people

[53:05]about the summer time when people will just say the Quran is

[53:11]enough and they will not look at what the prophet has said

[53:13]the instructions deviate from the Sunnah the Hadith they will look at

[53:22]the Hadith in a lens of um uh like shuk and a

[53:30]lens of skepticism and so on there's one I had this that

[53:37]is quite terrifying if you really think about it is we have

[53:41]the obligation of um a Time before the Imam where people will

[53:52]stop doing Allah and the companions were astounded when was that happened

[53:57]and that Imam says there's something worse than that will happen by

[54:00]people who start doing they will not just abandon this but they

[54:04]will be doing um and they will be doing so we see

[54:13]people actively speaking against Islamic values acting uh speaking actively against the

[54:21]teachings of Islam and pushing forward that which the Quran of Islam

[54:26]uh deemed to be prohibited or something that is is negative for

[54:31]us and we see these some of these signs emerging today as

[54:38]well so these are signs that we need to focus on these

[54:41]these signs are about me and my society and my uh a

[54:47]sense of responsibilities and duties with those around me and with regards

[54:51]to Allah and my relationship with him these are the signs that

[54:57]we need to focus on mostly in our day-to-day life in our

[55:02]preparation Alexa yeah and of course I mean the preparation and being

[55:09]moon to there for the iman's reappearances a whole vast you know

[55:13]discussion on its own so um hopefully we can have that at

[55:18]a separate um uh time inshallah but during this whole period of

[55:24]social Decay breaking down of families um the enjoying of evil and

[55:31]forbidding of good to a certain extent during such difficult times what

[55:34]is the role of the fukaha um at this difficult times within

[55:45]within the community and the society at Large the scholars the righteous

[55:52]Scholars who lead the modern meaning today they are the ones who

[55:57]represent the Iman in a loose sense and what I mean is

[56:05]that they're not designated directly by the Imam by person but what

[56:09]the imams have done in their own lifetimes is sometimes they have

[56:13]designated people to represent them and sometimes they have given certain signs

[56:20]and certain qualifications that one should seek in the scholars that one

[56:28]would refer to to get guidance and the institution of mergeria that

[56:39]we have today stretches back to the times of the imams and

[56:44]they have this role whether Iman is in prison for many years

[56:54]uh who was away from his followers for so long when he

[57:00]was in Samara and it was very difficult to communicate with him

[57:03]so there was a level of separation and the imams wasallam to

[57:08]prepare them for labor uh prepared this network of Scholars of fukaha

[57:15]of his [Music] um those that represent him uh and their students

[57:25]then took the more meaning into the time of raber the likes

[57:29]of ebony by the way Alexa and then their students continued on

[57:34]that process and the Maharaja that we see today those uh the

[57:41]righteous Scholars they are the ones who are uh who represent that

[57:46]initial period where the Imam has said refer to these personalities they

[57:51]represent an extension of that and their students they were the students

[57:57]of those teachers who were then the students I mean that's student

[58:03]teacher relationship and that chain goes all the way back to the

[58:08]imams and that is our link that is only that is our

[58:13]only tangible link to the Imam in the time of our River

[58:17]so in order to keep ourselves firmly footed upon that madhavi that

[58:24]is the mother that we claim for ourselves we need to remain

[58:29]attached to that scholarship that is the right so um obviously there

[58:39]seems to be a large importance of the fukaha in the time

[58:42]of the imam's day but at the same time that's not where

[58:48]the buck stops um we as individuals and as shias of Imam

[58:51]almati we also have some responsibility that lies on our own shoulders

[58:57]um so in trying to um pave our way through and you

[59:05]know discern and filter all the information that's coming out um and

[59:09]and you know just trying in that path of preparation um for

[59:13]the whole of the Imam what sort of um advice would you

[59:18]give uh not just the youths but you know the elderly um

[59:21]as well as you know regardless of the age Spectrum we have

[59:26]in the community what sort of advice would you give in relation

[59:30]to what um important points to pay attention to and what sort

[59:34]of books for example to be reading and what sort of information

[59:37]should be generally aware of during such times um it's very very

[59:47]good question and um in terms of books I think it's very

[59:49]important that we go back to reading um there was a generation

[59:56]that was into reading but now it's all about uh short clips

[60:00]that we have been making like with the other Bikini Series but

[60:05]the real information and the matter for that you know these kind

[60:11]of videos are just sign posts they're just to tell you that

[60:14]the information is that the proof is that and in terms of

[60:19]Akita there is not that lead so you have to gain your

[60:24]ma RFA through your own efforts ask the questions and ask you

[60:28]know the series this this particular uh program is called yes you

[60:34]have to ask the right people I am and there are so

[60:42]many Scholars across the world who uh uh equipped with the knowledge

[60:47]to be able to guide the more we need in matters of

[60:52]all of these issues in regards to whether it is about imama

[60:57]or the Imam of and these books for example we have uh

[61:01]the the Mahdi paradigm which is a book translated from the original

[61:09]Arabic that was written by that is inshallah it's going to be

[61:16]published soon by Mainstay Foundation the Mainstay Foundation have also published a

[61:22]book the mehdi understanding the awaited one says and then we have

[61:31]a book written by um authored by a Syed translated as an

[61:39]inquiry concerning and we have um the life of Imam written by

[61:50]Ayatollah and this is so many books written by our mujita and

[61:52]then there are so many other books written by Scholars at various

[61:56]levels of various audiences so we need to refer to those books

[62:01]and with regards to it shouldn't just be about information it used

[62:08]to be about some kind of tapua as well some kind of

[62:11]sense of obedience some kind of sense of objectivity in one's research

[62:19]and also connecting to Allah this is what Imam is all about

[62:23]is for us to connect to Allah in the most able manner

[62:28]so Dua is very important Imam or the Dua for our steadfastness

[62:43]upon this path one of the duas that have been taught to

[62:45]us whether imams is for those in the time of Labor and

[62:56]to be connected to the Quran this is something that we might

[63:01]feel within ourselves this lack of connection to the Quran the lack

[63:08]of understanding of principles given in the Quran and the the ethics

[63:12]of the Quran and the the general Spirit of the Quran so

[63:18]the more we read it the more things the more Islamic um

[63:22]the Islamic ethos will become intuitive within us right rather something that

[63:28]is separate it'll become a part of us more and more the

[63:30]more we read the Quran and of course the more we connect

[63:35]with the Sunnah of the massive thank you so much for those

[63:44]very um relatable points you know some things are so so powerful

[63:49]um and so simple so easy to do for example the ah

[63:54]the steadfastness you know we take Dua for granted so many times

[63:58]sadly and if only we were able to ponder more not just

[64:03]on the prescribed to us but also our personal duas that we

[64:06]make in our own language in our own emotional um uh perception

[64:12]towards Allah there is so much power in the uh and inshallah

[64:18]we can use that as a stepping stone so that we are

[64:20]guided our hearts open up towards accessing all the books that you've

[64:23]mentioned um all the um information out there to access them to

[64:30]filter through them and to make sure that we are not the

[64:35]ones who are being deviated by the deviators in today's time so

[64:37]thank you so much Shake um I think at this point we

[64:42]have come towards the end of this program um is there any

[64:45]final comments that you would like to share before um we we

[64:50]do the closing well I I can only do the r for

[64:55]my own set fastness and the steadfastness of all the more meaning

[65:00]so we are awaiting him and we are awaiting that Justice that

[65:05]he will bring back into the world and I hope and pray

[65:13]for the well-being of all of what we need and uh um

[65:16]inshallah may Allah give the such channels more motor vehicle to uh

[65:23]to deliver the truth uh and and uh the apeda of the

[65:30]uh thank you so much um this has truly been a learning

[65:37]journey of the last hour or so and I'm sure everyone who's

[65:42]been watching at home will also agree with me so I really

[65:45]want to thank you Sheikh for um being with us today for

[65:49]your work in this area for the other series at inshallah we
