[0:00]just wanted to acknowledge that how grateful and thankful I am to
[0:08]see every single one of you today despite all the odds and
[0:11]the obstacles it's very cold it it's dark you know as the
[0:18]days progress they become shorter and it's Friday night and so you
[0:23]had absolutely every reason to stay home yet you decided to come
[0:26]by and attend a program in remembrance to your 11th Imam imam
[0:32]hassan alaska alayhi as-salam and that enthusiasm and that drive really influences
[0:38]many other brothers and sisters and there are those that attend on
[0:43]a regular basis and there are those that attend simply because the
[0:48]topic was of great interest and so nonetheless whether you came because
[0:51]you found the subject interesting or you come on a general basis
[0:55]it's very beautiful and great and mesmerizing to see such a lovely
[0:59]congregation motivated to learn more about their faith so without further ado
[1:04]let's begin with that after allah allah allah muhammad ali mohammad masada
[1:10]muhammad in preparation for tonight's program a thought came to mind which
[1:18]was why not generally speaking stick to the traditional route in highlighting
[1:25]the martyrdom of imam hassan alaska alehissalaam because these weeks they are
[1:31]the weeks that highlight the martyrdom imam hassan and I scary was
[1:36]martyred during these days either yesterday the day before the day after
[1:40]or even today so on a traditional basis what seems to be
[1:48]the norm is that we commemorate modulus we hope modulus in commemoration
[1:52]for the imam talk about significant points of the death of the
[1:56]imam take those away and say how they can be applied within
[2:00]our lives and so on and so forth or perform eulogy let
[2:05]me and whatnot however when we look at the facts the majority
[2:08]of us if i'm not mistaking already know how the Imam died
[2:12]as in when we were young we were taught the names of
[2:16]all the 12 14 muscle mean actually beginning with rasoolallah and then
[2:20]follow me to zahara ending with Sarha velocity was a man agile
[2:25]allahu ta'ala photo/josh Arif we all know that starting from the Prophet
[2:29]up till the number 11 the 11 imam imam hassan and I
[2:31]scary they were all martyred brothers and sisters either by poison or
[2:37]by the sword so commemorating the death of an imam hassan alaska
[2:40]d by saying he was martyred and poisoned isn't generally something new
[2:45]you may benefit points because it's very vital to remember and remind
[2:50]ourselves of what happened what occurred in order to feel more compassionate
[2:53]and apply those lessons in our lives otherwise why do we commemorate
[2:57]ashura every single year you know every single year we commemorate the
[3:01]40th or the Iranian or the the tenth of Muharram and everything
[3:06]that leads up to it every year we do it every day
[3:08]every year we see the same stories but every year we learn
[3:14]new likewise with the martyrdom of imam hassan alaska but the significant
[3:18]point here is that imam hussain died the more significant death than
[3:22]any other human in the world otherwise it would have rained blood
[3:28]as it did in Carabella the tenth of Muharram the afternoon of
[3:31]ashura when rasulallah died because the holy prophet of islam is greater
[3:35]than any person that we can understand if the word perfection was
[3:39]to be manifested into a human if you take the word perfect
[3:42]and make it into a human you would end up with rasulallah
[3:44]sallallahu alaihi wasallam but it didn't rain blood when he was taken
[3:50]away from this earth or likewise when imam hassan was martyred or
[3:54]any other the Imams except your mom with her saying because the
[3:57]rest of the Imams didn't die such a significant death or in
[4:00]front of you you witness your brothers and sisters your nieces or
[4:03]nephews your son's your your best friends and your companion slaughtered one
[4:08]by one the death was very significant to the point where mom
[4:10]will Hassan and mujtaba his brother before the events of Karbala he
[4:16]said lon KO mu ka ba ba there will never be a
[4:19]day like your day so remembering and reviving the message of a
[4:22]moment for saying every here we can benefit but how about the
[4:24]rest of the Imams if we were just going to say that
[4:29]tonight imam hassan alaska eid sanam was martyred and we were going
[4:33]to take some points we generally don't achieve much with that brothers
[4:38]and sisters because it's like opening a book from the last page
[4:41]we know the outcome and why do we focus on the 28th
[4:46]year of his life he lived for 28 years because imam hassan
[4:49]alaska ali hassan was born in the year around the Year 846
[4:54]ad and was martyred in the year 874 so he was 28
[4:57]years old we focus on that 28th year more than we focus
[5:01]on any other year because believe it or not one unique aspect
[5:05]about imam alaska alehissalaam is that with every year in his life
[5:12]there was a point of significance we can benefit from even year
[5:15]one even when he was one years old he wasn't imam because
[5:18]the Imam achieved the Imam it after the martyrdom of his father
[5:22]that's how it works generally speaking we all know this when the
[5:25]email passes away it carries on to his son Imam Ali old
[5:32]Heidi alehissalaam was martyred by the Caliph what has a la basse
[5:36]and his son Imam Hassan Alaska was 22 years old very young
[5:41]very very young very very quickly introduced to the realm of the
[5:48]disaster that was going to come in front of him the responsibility
[5:50]falling before him 22 years old that's a big responsibility and he
[5:54]lived to 28 so six years six years did the Imam try
[5:59]his best to strive and spread the message of Islam yet generally
[6:03]traditionally we focus on that 28th year and end of story because
[6:07]what can we grasp in that 28th year basically the Imam was
[6:12]poisoned by the caliph of that time and more timid a lab
[6:14]baci may God's curses be upon him and after the poisoning occurred
[6:22]the Imam then was preyed upon by his son saw a busy
[6:25]man but Sahib is demand then came and pushed away his uncle
[6:30]jeff ER who claimed the imam it for himself we all know
[6:32]this by now 28 years preceding that let's look at that brothers
[6:37]and sisters in complete depth so that we know when saw a
[6:42]busy man holla holla for Joe sheriff is around is I'll is
[6:44]next to us is with us and he approaches us and we
[6:47]say we are from your shear and he tells me what do
[6:49]you know about my father you say I only know 28 years
[6:52]the 28th year and that's it this message tonight brothers and sisters
[6:55]goes up to the father of your mom with her jet the
[6:59]father of cyber lastly was a man his father was more oppressed
[7:02]in a way that is so strange because during the life of
[7:08]the Imam yes he was oppressed as was every man but even
[7:10]after the life of the Imam what do we mean number one
[7:14]we aren't remembering his significance number two in 2006 brothers and sisters
[7:19]in Samara Imam Hasan Askari animam alhaji shrine was blown up by
[7:24]terrorists terrorists they blew the harem up it was destroyed from the
[7:28]ground up and the mischievous think that they tried to do was
[7:34]that when they engaged in this horrible act they planted these devices
[7:39]underground with them with the idea in mind that maybe the explosion
[7:43]reaches the body to destroy the idea of the the the sovereignty
[7:48]that lies within Samara the beauty that holds it up and eventually
[7:52]the Shia world altogether imam hassan alaska yet they failed in their
[7:58]mission because now as we can clearly see in the news thankfully
[8:01]alhamdulillah the shrine is being rebuilt and the shrine of a debate
[8:04]will always stand firm and tall nobody will come facing it claiming
[8:11]they can ruin it and end the message for you can end
[8:13]a person but you'll never end the message and with that being
[8:18]said let us look at the life of imam hassan alaska I
[8:20]saw that just keep it in mind once saw a busy man
[8:24]does come out we can say to him yeah CED why amol
[8:28]I I understand the importance of you not just because i love
[8:31]you blindly but because i know where you came from because i
[8:34]know how hard it was to maintain the message of islam by
[8:41]your father the great the noble the militant al-askari an imam hassan
[8:46]and salam ala he idea so we're going to begin by analyzing
[8:50]his name before anything let's just look at his name his name
[8:54]obviously is an imam with Hassan but the term as curry is
[8:59]a very debated issue when you look at the Imams you find
[9:02]that up till Imams Angela abidine alehissalaam the nickname not the nickname
[9:09]but more so the titles started to become more prevalent Imam Ali
[9:15]had several titles but we know him as a mural manin Ali
[9:18]you know every dollop nah man Hussein has several titles at the
[9:21]Abdullah shahidul arka-dal gather all these titles but we know him as
[9:27]Imam Hussein likewise imam hassan al mustafa but we know him as
[9:32]imam hassan ii mom has analyst carry the title he holds alas
[9:35]curry they say that the title came from the ad from the
[9:42]fact that he lived in Samara because Samara is a military base
[9:46]at the time Samara the city of summer on our app is
[9:51]a military garrison it's like a barracks where people go to arm
[9:54]themselves to go to war it wasn't such a lively city or
[9:59]markets were thriving and their economy was great no it was a
[10:03]military base when the Imam was put under house arrest in Samara
[10:08]only then did he achieve the title I'll ask kelly and there's
[10:11]another opinion the second opinion is that no perhaps the city is
[10:16]a military base but the true meaning is when the Imam was
[10:22]called by the Caliph of that time and I believe it was
[10:24]a mistake because brothers and sisters imam hassan alaska he lives through
[10:29]six caliphs during his time six we're going to continue with the
[10:35]the name and the meaning of the title but let's briefly analyze
[10:39]this six caliphs Janna Khalifa rulers that had govern the had power
[10:43]over the Imam whereas when you look at Imams I leave no
[10:47]habia thought I be remembered her saying Imam will has said they
[10:50]had generally three you begin with the first caliph Abu Bakr ebano
[10:54]bakr Hoffa then the second I'm urban kebab and then the Third
[11:00]Earth mabini fun and then after earth man Imam Ali achieved the
[11:03]Caliphate he was the rightful leader of the Muslim Ummah but for
[11:08]four years and a half and then after Imam Ali we know
[11:09]where did this goes after him a miley if somebody can tell
[11:13]me why alia and then after mallya did the events of Karbala
[11:16]begin to start emerging then yazid and then so on and so
[11:21]forth but this was the relation of several imams brothers and sisters
[11:25]several Imam Hassan a scaly 66 could you imagine each and every
[11:29]sickness each and every Calif had his own method had his own
[11:35]approach some were more lenient to the to the ahlul bayt to
[11:38]Al Muhammad others were known they were boasting prideful arrogant ignorant people
[11:45]that simply couldn't care less about the family of rasulallah yet they
[11:49]claimed themselves Muslims so there were six one of them by the
[11:55]name of el mustang a la basse because this is ben wahab
[11:57]bass brothers and sisters do you begin with when you look at
[12:02]a debate there are generally two great great empires that ruled beginning
[12:07]with rasool allah has his own empire at any memory of course
[12:10]but when you look at the year 50 after Hydra the year
[12:15]50 after Hydra was when Imam Hassan Salameh lahee eyelid was martyred
[12:21]while you claimed the throne for himself claiming it for himself benno
[12:25]Omega began to emerge been home a year from been a woman
[12:30]from re and his son from uz to his family members up
[12:32]until the last or make it Calif his name is more one
[12:37]they refer to him as and this is actually what the encyclopedias
[12:40]States the history books from both schools of thought brothers and sisters
[12:44]as title was Marwan and him are pretty sure most of you
[12:48]know what that means he was such a bad ruler at the
[12:50]time they called him marwon the mule the donkey this is a
[12:55]strict firm legitimate title he was given he wasn't a great ruler
[12:58]he was the last of the Umayyad rulers and then Benoit Abbas
[13:01]began to emerge the abbasid family they came in and they took
[13:07]over the caliphate they started by oppressing oppressing imam moussa elk album
[13:13]with Harun al-rashid and then from Haruun informal Munna I mean our
[13:18]from Haruun and I mean from El Amin mamoun and so on
[13:20]and so forth up until you have el metallically lebasi and this
[13:25]family this was a family al muta wat killed to his last
[13:28]grandson that martyred Imam Hassan Alaska alehissalaam one of these of the
[13:33]six one of them ordered Imam Hassan Alaska to the court because
[13:39]under house arrest he has to keep a good eye on him
[13:40]because they may be against the Imam directly but indirectly they understand
[13:47]his prominence and his level and his status within the eyes of
[13:51]Allah and the muslimeen and the key point is within the muslimeen
[13:55]because the Shia were having enough they had it we can't live
[13:58]like this with all our Imams every one of our Imams in
[14:03]gel either they're in jail or they're limited and oppressed we want
[14:06]to reach them and they have every right we want to see
[14:10]the Imam if your Imam is amongst you today alrighty mom is
[14:12]an occultation but if he is amongst us physically yet he is
[14:17]in jail how would you feel I can't visit him they had
[14:19]it I said were fed up we want the Imam and if
[14:22]you don't give me my Imam out if you don't allow him
[14:26]is freedom we will have an a revolt a coop they will
[14:28]try to overthrow so they kept an eye on the Imam el
[14:32]mustang invited the Imam to his palace from his prison and to
[14:37]his palace or outside of his palace he wanted to boast his
[14:40]pride he said look at my army yep in a river imam
[14:44]or override his salam was the let's say the successor to L
[14:47]moon basically he had that status in my head so he became
[14:52]very popular amongst the politicians so every email after mirada was called
[14:56]yellow river even though directly imam has an oscar is a son
[14:59]of who mama heidi mama heart is the son of who remember
[15:02]joe Adam amjad is the son of brother but everyone proceeding la
[15:05]mirada was called ya blue river because imam or ova had here
[15:07]he went to that level or moon put him as his successor
[15:12]so from then on they called them yup in reply he said
[15:14]yup no lleva look at my army and so he made his
[15:17]men march in front of him the horses the men walk in
[15:21]front of him with their spears and everything to show off don't
[15:23]to give him a message don't think you can just overthrow me
[15:28]I have this military and we're still on the topic as to
[15:30]why his name is Alaska d so once the military march was
[15:33]over the Imam said that your military he said to him yeah
[15:36]he's look at my military and so the Imam did something like
[15:40]this and this is what the hadith says and this is an
[15:43]opinion but he did this he said look between my two fingers
[15:44]and so the Caliph would look between his two fingers and by
[15:50]the miracle of allah an army emerged from Lance's and swordsmen and
[15:54]elite fighters were marching and it took them hours to go by
[15:57]and make their way until he was given that title my goodness
[16:02]you are the true militant you are an tell a scary and
[16:04]so that is one opinion as to how you receive the title
[16:09]both of them I can't see why we can't accept both of
[16:14]them but nonetheless moving on from that from his name brothers and
[16:17]sisters if we are to be questioned you love your idol debate
[16:20]tell me where the number 11 you're 11 Imam tell me where
[16:26]he was born again here is an issue the Imam there are
[16:31]two views he was either born in Samara immediately giving the assumption
[16:34]that yes he was born in that military base then he's given
[16:37]the title a scary but the more popular opinion within our alema
[16:40]and amongst these are lemon or a che cosa duke and she'll
[16:45]prolly alkylene e-mail las peace and blessings be upon these great scholars
[16:48]and all of our great scholars they testified that no the Imam
[16:52]was born in Medina was born in Medina and the year 2
[16:56]32 after Hydra and was martyred in near 260 again making the
[16:59]a man 28 years of age very young and Medina as soon
[17:04]as he was born brothers and sisters is where our knowledge stops
[17:07]for some reason and then we skip ahead up to 28 years
[17:12]and I said this earlier we skip ahead it's like as if
[17:15]you read the beginning of the book and then you read the
[17:17]ending of the book and you skipped everything in the middle no
[17:21]and then some are some events are cherry-picked yes the imam at
[17:24]one point was called by and we're going to analyze this inshaallah
[17:27]given the time we have but we can't analyze the whole life
[17:31]of the imam obviously that would require lectures but one point they
[17:36]would probably what would be mentioned is by many speakers is that
[17:39]the Imam was called one day to deal with this drought there
[17:42]was a massive drought and the Imam was approached by the Caliph
[17:46]he was in better diet at one point because the email would
[17:49]be imprisoned in Samarra and remember six caliphs each one had their
[17:52]own taste and flavor each one said no no I don't like
[17:55]him the other one said no no I like him but I
[17:58]don't care about him so they had their own distinctive approach to
[18:00]a debate so one day he's in prison one day is in
[18:04]jail and he's back and forth one moment one year one of
[18:06]these years again it was probably this Calif and most inane may
[18:11]lost crispy upon him he prison him it in Baghdad he's a
[18:13]known you going to the prison I don't like you at all
[18:16]and so he put him in the prison one week there was
[18:21]a drought a month passed a drought almost months passed route remained
[18:25]in Iraq people were becoming worried their livestock was dying their crops
[18:28]everything was going away their commodities were ending that would then branch
[18:32]to business their businesses would MP will be homeless so one man
[18:36]approached from the blue out of the blue and this was a
[18:40]Christian monk he came to the Caliph and he says I can
[18:44]solve your drought issue and so the Caliph said what do you
[18:46]mean he said look I'm going to raise my hands into a
[18:49]Christian monk raise my hands and go out to the earth to
[18:51]the semi wat to the heavens and the story is very famous
[18:55]and when I do that it will rain and so likewise he
[19:00]did it it rained people began to convert to Christianity don't blame
[19:03]them there was a serious drought a Christian monk raises his hands
[19:07]and do I it begins to rain and so the Caliph and
[19:10]this is where the hypocrisy truly lies brothers and sisters concerned about
[19:15]the well-being of Islam for some reason yet he has his Imam
[19:17]in gel approaches the Imam and says yab minus river we are
[19:22]worried the people are converting to Christianity they're becoming Christians he says
[19:27]why is because there was a drought Christian monk came made ah
[19:31]it rained people becoming questions the Imam said I can deal with
[19:36]this release me from this prison and ask that Christian monk again
[19:39]to raise his hands in Doha but when he does follow my
[19:44]lead and do as I tell you and so they did it
[19:48]they gathered all the people there ristic rats and everybody the men
[19:51]the women the citizens and they said Christian monk raise your hands
[19:54]and wat make rain come down and so he did and it
[19:58]rained and the Imam said his hand open it and get what's
[20:00]inside of it and bring it here and I'll explain and so
[20:04]while soon as he raised his hands in Doha they confiscated what
[20:07]was in his hands and they found and this is very interesting
[20:10]a bone that belonged the Imam began to explain this bone belong
[20:17]with to one of the prophets of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala shukran we
[20:22]have 124,000 and via he managed to go dig up the grave
[20:28]of one of them take a bone and subhanAllah and this can
[20:31]be a lesson to us he asked Allah Tollison through the bonilla
[20:37]Allah make it rain even though he's a Christian monk and he
[20:40]probably did something Haram by digging up a grave which is hard
[20:43]on by the way especially if it was something someone as important
[20:46]as one of the prophets of Allah spano tada yet Allah answered
[20:50]the door because that bone is near and close to Allah through
[20:52]the bone make it rain it rained and so they said this
[20:56]is the reason as to why he's been successful he says now
[20:58]try doing it with the bone nut in your hands he raises
[21:02]his hand doesn't ring so the Imam said you want me to
[21:06]show you to rain and end this drought the Imam then prayed
[21:07]and brothers and sisters read in my patty had gene on there
[21:12]are many mustahab salads there are many saw prayers that are mustahab
[21:16]one of them as-salatu lista stock the prayer you pray when there's
[21:20]a drought imam hassan alaska he went and he went barefoot he
[21:23]said i pray i pray like my grandfather Rasool Allah I do
[21:28]my method he says fine he goes any approach his the land
[21:32]and he raises his hand and he says Allahu Akbar began to
[21:35]pray the Salah after finishing and concluding with his prayer only then
[21:39]did Arak experience a heavy rain it was almost drowning the drug
[21:45]they almost began drowning from the rain was being brought down who
[21:49]the doís and prayer of imam hassan alaska alehissalaam and that ended
[21:55]with the drought the imam his life brothers and sisters is very
[21:59]much cherry picked and we need to look at the stages and
[22:04]i mentioned that every year there is a lesson and when i
[22:08]said at the year 11 his infancy his youth when he was
[22:13]about five years old there even is a lesson there how does
[22:16]that happen because look when imam hassan alas curry with his father
[22:20]imam al hadi was taken by the Caliph we mentioned there were
[22:26]six brothers and sisters before I move on let me just mention
[22:30]something very quickly Imam Ali alehissalaam once speaking on the pulpit on
[22:35]the member he's in kufa he said to his congregation everybody listen
[22:38]if you guys are interested in buying a limb knowledge who is
[22:43]interested in buying knowledge yeah I Mueller not mean we generally gain
[22:46]knowledge we have to experience something to gain it what do you
[22:51]mean by it he says who wants to buy knowledge for wonder
[22:53]ahem they all raised their hands Imam Ali said then go buy
[22:56]a piece of paper and pen and you know where I'm getting
[22:58]with this what's being said brothers and sisters remains steadfast so that
[23:03]if you are asked you are prepared how is it that we
[23:07]can benefit from a five year old I'll tell you my brothers
[23:08]and sisters if you can let's try to carry this on so
[23:12]that we are able to spread this if it's on your phone
[23:14]it's okay if it's maybe this is probably the only time you're
[23:17]allowed to go on your phone when somebody is speaking nonetheless if
[23:20]it's on anyway remember it if you can if you have Marshawn
[23:25]log with memory nonetheless the Imam at five years of age where
[23:28]were we five years old and he was in Samarra after being
[23:31]taken with his father mom I didn't hide he didn't just leave
[23:34]he says no no I'm taking my family he took his sister
[23:39]he took his sister I say the hakima the grandmother or the
[23:41]great-grand aunt of imam mehdi he took his sister he took all
[23:44]his sons took his wife he took them all with him and
[23:48]he went to samirah because a strong family that grows up together
[23:50]stays together and in samara the Imam was a very use youthful
[23:54]energetic sort of boy but he was very philosophical because one day
[24:00]there was a man that was walking home from work back home
[24:04]from work and honest path he noticed that there were a group
[24:06]of children playing amongst themselves with their toys and laughing and having
[24:11]a good time when the Imam then when the person actually made
[24:16]his way to these children he noticed that amongst these children that
[24:19]were playing with her toys and having a good time there was
[24:22]one boy that was by himself segregated he was he wasn't playing
[24:28]you he was toilets he didn't have a toy and above that
[24:30]he was crying but the thing the feature that caught this man's
[24:34]attention that gave him the effort to not continue on but two
[24:39]faces face the direction of that boy and actually acknowledge what's happening
[24:43]was the feature and that feature was his beauty the man describes
[24:47]at this young child you wouldn't call him handsome because handsome suits
[24:51]for like older men he was not secured he was too illuminating
[24:56]for me the beauty in this kids I was too much for
[24:58]me to not stop my way home and just look at and
[25:02]acknowledge what's happening so he goes to the young boy and he
[25:05]says young boy why are you crying I see you and your
[25:08]friends you're not you're with your friends but you're not playing with
[25:11]them you're alone is it because you don't have a toy do
[25:14]you want me to go buy you a toy he was actually
[25:15]willing to spend his hard-earned money to go buy a toy for
[25:20]a random kid that's crying I tell you some of our people
[25:23]we know a kid that's cries is the last thing you want
[25:25]to put your attention to above that you want to buy them
[25:28]a toy they're not going to leave you two gonna clench onto
[25:30]you till you have a long beard nonetheless he says to the
[25:34]young child he says like a young boy listen do you want
[25:35]me to buy you a toy so you can stop crying because
[25:38]I can't handle seeing someone like you crying and so the young
[25:42]boy looked at him and said sir Oh sir listen this world
[25:47]was not created for you and I to play with toys it
[25:50]has a deeper meaning and message and for that I cry that
[25:53]man was astonished he says I couldn't handle myself I was astonished
[25:57]I was dumbfounded how can a young child give such a philosophical
[26:04]response like that a very young boy and so he says why
[26:06]is that tell me your reason because it's easy to make statements
[26:11]brothers and sisters but it's difficult to reference them it's difficult to
[26:16]authenticate it is why is that then why is it that we've
[26:17]been created not to play with toys or have fun how come
[26:21]and then the young boy then moves a step further and says
[26:24]haven't you read the Holy Quran when it said in surat al-
[26:29]in bismillahi rahmani raheem offensive tomb and nama holly pond al coma
[26:33]abitha well in newcomb Elena la Tour jawan is like what did
[26:37]you think we created you in vain and that you will not
[26:39]return to us back to us and everything is just willy-nilly have
[26:44]fun there is a deeper meaning and purpose and for that old
[26:47]man I cry and the man looked at the child and he
[26:51]says I can't handle this I'm going to go back home and
[26:52]tell my family and everybody I know what happened but i'm not
[26:57]going to introduce you to them as just some kid or some
[26:59]boy because you're not some kid or just some random boy who
[27:03]are you and then the young boy looked at him and says
[27:05]an El Hassan I believe no Mohammed Abdullah Abdullah ebony Musa Dagh
[27:13]Jack Fortnum & nell batter if no Ali or if no alien
[27:15]or a budino saying uncle hasn't have no Emil manin i need
[27:20]you i have you told the husband of fatima to sahara the
[27:22]daughter of rasool allah muhammad sallallahu alehiwassallaam long one so that in
[27:34]itself when an imam isn't officially an imam there are still lessons
[27:40]brothers and sisters that we can benefit and learn from without a
[27:46]doubt because whether the Imam is in action or he is not
[27:49]the Prophet said that the Imams al-hassani will her saying they are
[27:53]Imams whether they were standing or sitting the deeper message to that
[27:59]is that whether they are Imams officially or they are not they
[28:03]still have many reasons to make you look at them and benefit
[28:06]from them in all aspects of life the Imam yes hasanul a
[28:11]scary was Imam when he was 22 but we just understood something
[28:14]when he was about five years old that you wouldn't generally find
[28:17]from a five-year-old child or any other child of that age for
[28:22]example and it really makes you think and reflect as to how
[28:24]a debate with such capacity and abilities to move on and change
[28:31]the world were so oppressed by being put in prison which leads
[28:33]us to the second point the ha'la'tha that ruled the Imam the
[28:40]had power over the Imam is because as soon as Imam Hassan
[28:43]Alaska was born the same year he was born or the year
[28:48]after one year later let's say L metallic Caleb bazi takes him
[28:52]and his father from medina to samara in samara the imam then
[28:56]lived up to 14 years until that same man and metallica de
[29:02]la basse died and this Calif let me tell you all he
[29:08]cared about was lust and desire and fun and drinking and games
[29:11]and his palaces and all things materialistic couldn't care less about anything
[29:16]metaphysical the spiritual life the reason that we live so we serve
[29:21]a las pilot Allah nothing he was too concerned with his own
[29:24]wealth and his own pride and everything and he died when the
[29:27]Imam was 14 years of age after the Imam brothers and sisters
[29:32]the interesting thing is the Caliph came that came after L metallic
[29:36]kill was his own son which isn't something new this is something
[29:39]very popular in common it's a dynasty to what it's called almost
[29:43]a monarchy you have the leader and then you have his son
[29:45]and then his leader and his son it's very similar and let's
[29:49]not shy away from this issue it's very similar to the ahlul
[29:53]bayt alehiwassallaam the Imam would then announced that his son would be
[29:56]the imam or you have a mom and her saying and then
[29:58]or Imam Hassan and his brother but these were rightfully guided divine
[30:02]appointed vice German ambassador's projeto lalala help a deserving people not just
[30:08]any random person who says yellow me and my son is going
[30:12]to be ruling and then shall after you your son and if
[30:14]they can't have a son disaster just like that one King I
[30:18]forgot his name is not slipping in my out of my mind
[30:19]right now one of these Kings in Britain years ago obviously hundreds
[30:24]of years ago couldn't have a son I can't remember the name
[30:26]and so he tried his best he had daughters but he couldn't
[30:28]have a boy and so he tried his best and the wife
[30:32]that wouldn't give him a boy he would divorce eventually he died
[30:37]sunless and his monarchy ended right there or they picked his cousin
[30:39]or something like that was a similar case with Benoit bus however
[30:43]the funny thing is and I mentioned the surprising thing is was
[30:47]that Alma tawa kilowatt bazi was overthrown by his own son al
[30:55]montazah alibi see he came in and he says listen I and
[30:57]this is very interesting and very debatable but he was one of
[31:03]those Halawa that actually took a stance against his own family because
[31:07]you have many people from families if the whole family is bad
[31:10]don't just judge the whole entire family there can be somebody that
[31:16]shines away from them likewise a very beautiful household a tree there's
[31:20]probably one bad apple okay well don't judge the whole entire family
[31:24]this man al montazah yeah al montazah alibi see what does he
[31:28]do he says you know what I'm going to kill my father
[31:32]he can't be overthrown I'm going to kill him and so the
[31:38]Ottoman Empire was beginning to emerge agreeing with the Turks he says
[31:41]come with me let's go assassinate him at night now there is
[31:44]a hadith by the holy prophet rasool allah salallahu alayhi wasallam to
[31:49]which he says that he who is responsible for the death or
[31:55]the passing away of his own father will not live very long
[31:57]likewise this man he says I don't care anymore this hadith I
[32:03]believe it but I don't care he must go I cannot handle
[32:05]him the way he's treating I will bait the way he is
[32:09]depriving the Shia that will bait he has economical sanctions on a
[32:13]lil bit because they are a debate and their families and their
[32:16]companions they are not going to buy no one's gonna sell them
[32:20]anything they are living hard lives and he is just a prideful
[32:23]boastful arrogant ignorant person and he admits that my father is not
[32:27]worthy enough to rule so he has a sedated him and this
[32:31]is very interesting maybe this approach wasn't the best right now at
[32:34]the moment but he truly ended the world up such a ready
[32:38]rid the world of such a terrible man and then when he
[32:40]became became the Caliph this man al montazah and what awakens son
[32:43]what he then decided to do was number one take the Imam
[32:47]out of jail because it no no no you're not you don't
[32:51]deserve to be in prison you don't deserve to be in prison
[32:52]you deserve to be somewhere else out of the prison your place
[32:57]is not for the prison is not in the prisons the prison's
[32:59]hold criminals you are nowhere near a criminal so he took him
[33:04]out of the prison he returned and this reminds me of that
[33:07]one Calif rumba no Maya horses name or my bin abdul-aziz he
[33:11]says listen I will return fedex back to the Shia for those
[33:14]of you that studied the history of man woman and Benoit bus
[33:18]will know that one of the Caliph's armor it been Abdul Aziz
[33:21]returned fedak back to a debate that after it was taken by
[33:27]fatima to soha ali has salaam unrightfully what he did al montazah
[33:30]likewise returned it back again because after the years moved on and
[33:33]progressed it was taken away from the handle debate fedex mothers and
[33:36]sisters for those of you that don't know is a piece of
[33:40]land north of high bar you know hey bro imam ali picked
[33:44]up the gate of cable and killed that mar hub or that
[33:46]man that had rulership the dough juice in ok bar it's north
[33:51]of Kaiba the more North you go generally speaking the more fertile
[33:54]the ground is it's less hot so if attic was a thriving
[33:59]lush area huge strip of land that the Prophet gifted to Fatima
[34:02]to Sahara alehissalaam land filled with nothing but fertile and fruitful plants
[34:08]and everything it was very lively I would Beit had that taken
[34:12]away from them and when when I will bait had that taken
[34:17]away from them who returned it back to them this man will
[34:19]montessori is like no this deserves to be back with a debate
[34:24]as well he did that and he was not so hard on
[34:27]the followers the Shia because generally when they Calif rules he's afraid
[34:32]of one thing being overthrown and when there is a popular movement
[34:35]happening the a debate and there she are they of they are
[34:38]afraid of not headed by their fate of the Shia because android
[34:42]date are perfect brothers and sisters there she are not they're not
[34:46]perfect they can do something by mistake they can overrule me he
[34:50]was easy on them yet as the hadith mentions if you are
[34:54]responsible for the passing of your father you will not live that
[34:56]long and he died how long how long did he stay he
[35:00]stayed not even a year he stayed for about a few months
[35:04]until he died of what natural death after he was overthrown brothers
[35:06]and sisters you then fine a new caliph came into play but
[35:11]also one of those caliphs from Benoit bus that I really couldn't
[35:13]care less about i elevate his name is a new strain yes
[35:17]and Mustang was another one of those caliphs that was very ruthless
[35:20]he was bad he couldn't care and they say he had bad
[35:22]and this is a lesson for us he had bad hygiene bad
[35:26]hygiene the ruler of the Muslim Ummah by the way what's the
[35:29]Muslim Ummah brothers and sisters it spans from the Far West's of
[35:35]Spain to the far east of China or Indonesia that was all
[35:38]under the Muslim caliphate if you were the leader of the Muslim
[35:43]world at that time this was your OMA and this man they
[35:44]say he couldn't care about his hygiene they couldn't care about the
[35:48]way he was governing his people he had he was basically incompetent
[35:51]he had a high level of incompetents he was overthrown by the
[35:55]Turks they said we can't handle you you're bad go away so
[35:58]they pushed him aside after he was put away brothers and sisters
[36:00]and men but this was four years after he was put away
[36:04]and meant by the name of an martez ali abbasi and more
[36:06]test would be the man that's responsible for the assassination of imam
[36:11]ali al hadi and at this age imam hassan alaska i was
[36:16]22 years of age of age brothers and sisters and at that
[36:19]time brothers and sisters that difficult time when you have your father
[36:27]poisoned not just anywhere but in your own home because in this
[36:30]period the imam wasn't in prison anymore for the most part he
[36:32]was in his home under house arrest in samara an under house
[36:38]arrest they sent a few men to poison the food of imam
[36:44]ali al hadi when the Imam was poisoned and but he before
[36:46]he was martyred he announced that listen before I leave I announced
[36:49]him as my Imam and he pointed at El Hassan Alaska really
[36:55]salaam there was a very big notion that no not Imam Hassan
[36:57]Alaska Lee was going to be the Imam but rather his brother
[37:02]who is brother Mohammed Mohammed ibn al imam hassan al al hadi
[37:08]Mohammed was this very interesting devout peaceful pious figure that has been
[37:14]history narrations they mention he was tall he was handsome he was
[37:17]always either seen only doing to spear or do I reciting quran
[37:22]he was a generous person everybody said he will be the next
[37:27]imam but the Imam Hassan Alaska it was announced that no he
[37:30]will be the Imam and what happened was this man Mohammed who
[37:33]is now known as Mohammed said d jail right now buried in
[37:37]medina in iraq so for those of you that can go to
[37:41]the z Ro you can he has his own Barry and his
[37:44]own poop bizon mazhar his shrine is available for all those to
[37:48]come and visit and grant their wishes and it well will be
[37:51]answered because he is known as bubble how I age people go
[37:55]and they asked from him and he always never returns anybody empty-handed
[38:00]Mohammed said the gel is what he's referred two brothers and sisters
[38:03]but he died in the life of imam ali Heidi so obviously
[38:07]he couldn't be the amount if the current Imam is alive the
[38:11]amendment then turned to imam hassan Alaska alayhi s-salam the Imam imam
[38:15]hassan alaska i was married before the martyrdom of his father because
[38:19]what's interesting was you find that the father of the imam instructed
[38:24]for the marriage of his son to happen generally a debate would
[38:30]go on with their own accord when they want to be married
[38:32]they find the means to do so like for example imam ali
[38:37]said I'm approached his brother he says to his brother a peer
[38:40]leaders yeah i did find me a wife i want a wife
[38:44]that will give me a son huh that will give me a
[38:48]son that will help my son imam hussein in car Bella and
[38:50]he found on web inning and he and she gave him she
[38:53]gave him whom I've been abbas ali here Sarah she gave him
[38:55]a bill flowers and I way to go on their own accord
[39:00]but imam hassan Alaska d instructed by his father he was instructed
[39:03]to marry a very particular interesting character in history for those of
[39:08]you that have seen the animation called princess of Rome some of
[39:12]you have for those of you that have will to understand it's
[39:15]a very interesting you have was it nice it's a very interesting
[39:18]cartoon basically that highlights the wife of imam hassan elastically the mom
[39:23]of imam would hurt jaja la la jolla for a jolly now
[39:27]i haven't seen it but I heard the reviews are good and
[39:29]this is not a sponsor he says to his son in mojada
[39:35]mojadas says my son I will marry you to one of these
[39:36]ladies a pious god-fearing woman but you are deserving of only the
[39:43]pious and god-fearing women and so he instructs his companion be sure
[39:48]i bin sulaiman he says to him go he was an under
[39:50]house arrest at the time so he can't do it himself and
[39:53]probably that was the reason perhaps the a debate would go on
[39:56]their own accord as we mentioned under house arrest he would instruct
[39:58]his companion be sure it bin sulaiman he says go to the
[40:04]river banks of the Tigris River in Baghdad and go to the
[40:06]riverbanks Oh be sure and go there and you will see a
[40:12]shipment unloading its cargo and amongst the things coming out will be
[40:15]a group of women this is a these were the women that
[40:20]were captured and the skirmish between the byzantines and Benoit bus and
[40:24]they will be selling this women now the Imam a mammal Heidi's
[40:27]predicting this this n will babe is something that he exemplified in
[40:33]that point amongst these women there will be one woman that will
[40:36]stand out she will well that wear the hijab of Fatima to
[40:38]Sahara se llama la la ha and she will not allow anyone
[40:43]to buy her because women cannot be bought and brothers and sisters
[40:47]this very significant point right here very interesting point he says listen
[40:53]she will not allow anybody to buy her you go and i
[40:57]will give you money because her owner the owner of that shipment
[41:00]will not accept anyone to have anything without money so you're not
[41:04]buying her you were buying the you're giving your receiving the permission
[41:08]to allow this women to go with you and back to me
[41:13]and before you go to prove the point to set it in
[41:18]stone here is a written letter I wrote and you give it
[41:19]to her now what happened was in that year around that your
[41:26]brothers and sisters the year to let's say 250 around that year
[41:29]because I don't know what the year exactly was what year it
[41:33]was when Imam al hassan Alaska Lee got married but what happened
[41:36]was in Rome in the Vatican Cesar the second was was reserving
[41:45]a day in which he would marry his daughter not just cartoon
[41:49]to one of her relatives on the day of the wedding brothers
[41:55]and sisters the paintings and the priests and the bishops were amongst
[41:59]them the paintings felt an earthquake happened the room shook everybody was
[42:05]startled we're describing the events that highlighted and revolved around though the
[42:08]mother of Imam with her brothers and sisters and so the wedding
[42:14]was cancelled they saved it for another day again they married and
[42:16]this isn't be Harlan what if you guys would like to research
[42:20]this more they got together they were going to get married the
[42:23]ceremony took place paintings fall this was a bad almond bad sign
[42:26]something's not right here and then this wonderful lady has a dream
[42:31]in her dream she describes her dream saying that I saw Jesus
[42:35]son of Mary and I saw muhammad bin abdullah salallahu alaihe wasalam
[42:39]and i saw the holy prophet of islam saying to Jesus he
[42:46]says oh Jesus let the daughter of your apostille Simon because not
[42:50]just cartoon the wife of imam hassan alaska d is the great
[42:56]great great granddaughter of Simon one of the Companions of Jesus let
[43:00]the daughter of your companion Simon marry my son hasson and Oscar
[43:04]yeah days and so she said the stream has a meaning but
[43:10]I need more facts another day passes she has another dream to
[43:13]which she sees the Virgin Mary alehissalaam and she sees faulty metazoa
[43:17]salam ala hi leha again the agreement let my son marry from
[43:24]the apostille of your son Jesus and she wakes up and then
[43:27]she sees her Imam she sees Imam Ali Heidi and he says
[43:32]I'm giving you the hand of my son has an alaska you
[43:35]will be a mother of one of the greatest men the mother
[43:37]of one of the men that will lead the world and fill
[43:41]it with justice after it has been filled with injustice saw but
[43:44]also to assume an agile la jolla for relief and she awoke
[43:48]and said listen I know that there is a place where the
[43:51]byzant and the Benoit bus will be having a war generally when
[43:56]wars occur brothers and sisters nurses are sent you get where this
[44:00]is going nurses are sent to alien help the wounded and envious
[44:06]of the support for them and with them she escaped the palace
[44:10]in disguise and goes to the battlefield in disguise and then the
[44:16]war is fought they lose they get captured she arrives in the
[44:22]Tigers river north of baghdad in the banks bisher bin sulaiman sees
[44:25]her and he recognizes her and he goes to her and he
[44:29]says i want to buy her she rejects he says but wait
[44:31]here is a note remember that note Imam Ali on how do
[44:35]you wrote and she read it now I don't know whether or
[44:39]not this note was written in Latin or a nada be in
[44:40]Arabic or no but she read the note and she was immediately
[44:47]mesmerised because the hadith mentions again if you want to research this
[44:49]is in be harder than you are one of our great compilations
[44:51]of narrations and stories for more information she says because she kisses
[44:56]in the note the narration says she kisses it places it in
[45:00]her heart and she says take me to the owner of this
[45:02]note and she goes and she arrives in the home in Samarra
[45:07]in the house of Allah mom has an Alaskan in the house
[45:09]of imam ali al hadi and with them she is greeted and
[45:13]what happens was a mom and even Hadi then announces that she
[45:17]will marry my son but before that my sister who did we
[45:22]say imam al hadi took with him he took the whole family
[45:27]right his sons he took a sister I say either hockey my
[45:28]brothers and sisters if you go to San Murat today inshallah it's
[45:33]safe for us to go if you go today you see that
[45:34]there are about three graves what does it say number one it
[45:41]says Imam Hassan abnormally and I scary and then the second grave
[45:44]it says imam ali al hadi ok and then the third grave
[45:50]says I say ye the Hakim alaihi Salam alaikum assalaam these three
[45:54]are buried amongst each other because they were buried in that same
[45:58]home this say either hakima I wish we have time to speak
[46:02]about her merits and her achievements and her accolades because truly there
[46:05]are figures on three whom we know more about celebrities and icons
[46:09]but the people of a debate that are responsible for giving you
[46:13]what we have today giving us what we have today our thanks
[46:17]to Allah goes back to them this great woman she then takes
[46:19]us a leader na regis and she teaches her gives her the
[46:24]ropes the reins teachers are the Halal of islam the haram of
[46:27]islam because she was just introduced to Islam she was the only
[46:33]European Westerner to marry with al Mohamed most of them or from
[46:36]either North Africa from the Arabian Peninsula no she was the first
[46:40]one from the Western world and this is a sign for us
[46:44]Legault of his nepotism let go of it we can marry outside
[46:46]of just your own Street some of these brothers and sisters brothers
[46:50]I tell you they won't marry somebody unless they're from their own
[46:54]country this is pride with them and you can't blame them but
[46:56]they have this pride they go above that your own village you're
[46:59]from tipping in no he has to be from vintage bed right
[47:03]now you're from NASA Leah no you have to be from bustle
[47:07]I'm so sorry I know brothers and sisters if you're not from
[47:09]my same street don't you dare approach my daughter something like that
[47:13]no we can take this lesson that you can expand just find
[47:18]the most pious the criteria is basically to be pious because they
[47:21]have to be part they have to be pious they have to
[47:24]have that piety in their heart and soul brothers and sisters otherwise
[47:26]what uses a person if they don't have that piety and reflection
[47:30]and remembrance to Allah spano etana pious and they have to understand
[47:34]the value of the Imams and a debate and on top of
[47:39]that the Holy Prophet of Islam rasool allah muhammad sallallahu alehiwassallaam salalah
[47:43]Muhammad Ali because nobody wants to get involved with anybody that says
[47:51]I couldn't care less about these 14 individuals absolutely not it wrecks
[47:56]the heart almost and the third criteria is someone that is open-minded
[48:00]you can be pious you can have love for a debate but
[48:04]if you're not open minded if you couldn't care to expand outside
[48:06]of your inner bubble and circle you're not going to have friends
[48:09]number one then you're not going to have a spouse a potential
[48:15]spouse open-mindedness pious pneus and beloved 4 verse or allah and his
[48:19]idol debate this say you the hakima taught the mother of a
[48:22]moment Hodja this important role and with that being said we are
[48:24]very very thankful for that event to occur so that we have
[48:29]an imam today we always raise our hands and say Allah Almighty
[48:31]well you can forage and we ask a lot to make that
[48:36]that two haston that appearance brothers and sisters so she came and
[48:39]then she married the Imam when they got married brothers and sisters
[48:44]It was as if the world experience it's a de la dieta
[48:46]again everyone everyone was happy everybody was cheerful and this last his
[48:51]brothers and sisters until imam ali hadi was martyred in this own
[48:57]home imagine one day and the thought is very heartbreaking coming back
[49:00]to your own home and seeing your beloved member any member of
[49:03]your family martyred and he achieved that imam and upon receiving the
[49:08]imam and becoming that imam that responsibility that he had more and
[49:14]more stress and sanctions are implemented on a debate this goes on
[49:18]from al montazah who we said was more lenient from a month
[49:21]assault on stanyan who we said was incompetent from elminster aunt Wilma
[49:25]teddy and more today and more TD brothers and sisters jailed the
[49:31]Imam we said he was in house arrest this time he jailed
[49:33]him no no you're in jail I don't care about you he
[49:36]puts him in jail in jail the Shia said we are fed
[49:40]up we can't handle this anymore and truly they would be we
[49:42]would we and so the Imam said listen I will predict the
[49:47]death of this man in five days truly in five days this
[49:49]and my teddy was killed by the Turks again in competence now
[49:54]I ask you why do you rule if you were incompetent if
[49:56]you don't have the ability what does this remind you of a
[50:01]recent election why do you rule if you don't have the experience
[50:05]why you'll be overthrown ten cents and we move on from that
[50:09]until he was overthrown brothers and sisters and then the grandson of
[50:13]that same man I'll metallic kill alibi see that started all el
[50:20]Muhammad may a las curses be upon him was instilled in the
[50:23]Muslim Caliphate and was the Caliph and he had the grieve and
[50:29]hatred for a debate like no other Calif before him he tortured
[50:32]the Imam in a way that was so unbearable and unbelievable and
[50:37]brothers and sisters I see that the food has arrived but I
[50:39]want to continue on this point so that we can actually give
[50:43]a response to saw a pizza man and I take this into
[50:45]consideration brother what do you mean so I business was gonna and
[50:48]Sahib as a man returns and asks for his aid and we
[50:53]approached him and we don't know the thing I think or to
[50:58]the license the values the significance of the life of his own
[51:01]father the father mami Raja how shameful it is for us what
[51:08]happened was this man and Mohammed sent two of the ugliest meanest
[51:11]men to go and torture the Imam says go and torture the
[51:14]Iman when they arrived after a while they were sent back to
[51:21]the courts and they said we can't torture this man why they
[51:23]said how can we torture a man who during his days he
[51:28]is fasting and during the nights he is awakened prayer and I
[51:31]by Delilah how can we touch a man like this and above
[51:36]that these people became minion afterwards they say that the effect was
[51:39]so strong on them when they see the vibrance the illumination of
[51:43]this Imam they are affected in such a way where they become
[51:48]not ugly anymore but they become of these followers that then eventually
[51:51]ascend to Jenna and this reminds me of a very significant point
[51:55]and again I will conclude with this lecture because I do see
[52:00]the food is here and you guys are all eager to to
[52:02]indulge in that but this point that I want to make I
[52:07]don't remember hearing it in any other sort of program and I
[52:10]don't know when the next time it will be made we're brothers
[52:14]and sisters the effect a debate have one people is remarkable this
[52:17]reminds me of one incident and this is the point I want
[52:20]to make and after that which Allah we will finish it reminds
[52:22]me of the incident in which a llamar Musa el kalam allahís
[52:25]salam in the prison of Harun al-rashid Harun sends a lady one
[52:32]of the most provocative ladies of the town and he says going
[52:35]that's the cell of in mamou cell column and after a while
[52:40]we will expose him and see what was going on and so
[52:42]he sends this provocative lady in that cell after a while how
[52:47]doin comes and he says come everybody look like we're going to
[52:51]catch him red-handed they open the cell they find this once former
[52:54]provocative lady wearing hijab doing so dude behind him a music album
[53:01]The effect of a debate by looking at them whether those two
[53:03]men say how can we torture a man who in his day
[53:08]is fasting and his night is busy Nevada they have that effect
[53:11]and this reminds me of so many other examples that we can
[53:15]just bring forward brothers and sisters but inshallah we will finish with
[53:19]that and with that brothers and sisters we ask allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
[53:23]to make us of those people that when questioned about then the
[53:28]knowledge the wisdom they have for elevate are ready to immediately respond
[53:34]saying no I don't love you blindly sheep like I just follow
[53:39]whatever I follow no I love you for who you are for
[53:43]where you came from and for what purpose and message you will
[53:50]bring out fourth for the OMA and generally for the whole entire
[53:52]world because brothers and sisters as the Quran testifies rasulallah as a
[53:56]reheema for the whole entire world and likewise with rasool allah has
[54:00]a debate because the I hello debate are known as the same
[54:05]light in New neuron wanted the same illumination so if rasulallah is
[54:08]a lot i'ma to the world than indeed without a doubt imam
[54:11]hassan and I scary alayhi salam is also that Rama in this
[54:16]world wallaroo dewana and rabbul aalameen Oh sallallahu ala muhammad anwar jabeen
[54:23]a fire in Salaam alaikum
