[7:36]of and this poem looks at through the beautiful prayer that we

[8:57]is greater than he who created the greatest of sheb who spoke

[9:14]hisb for nothing is greater than he who created the greatest of

[11:39]recite Subhan Allah Subhan Allah zah is Allah's creation Subhan Allah Subhan

[11:46]Allah zah is Allah's creation Allah creates light that prostrates back to

[11:53]him planets rotate and gravitate to her name if this creation is

[11:57]great then how great is Allah so Glory be to he whose

[12:03]anger is one with her anger and if her anger is such

[12:06]then surely her love is Allah's how great is Allah for the

[12:13]honor he bestowed her even those that hate her still recite even

[12:17]those that hate her they still recite those she angered they still

[12:23]reach Allah through zah and hating Ali they still bow down to

[14:10]we believed Ali not just with our minds because our veins they

[14:14]bleed Ali and when when we are need know that we plead

[14:16]Ali while they see this world we look and we see Ali

[14:23]for if salvation exists then it must be Ali your love oh

[18:06]greatest inventions of our modern era is the light bulb how can

[18:14]we live without light and thus we are all indebted to Thomas

[18:23]Edison the invention of light was truly revolutionary on our lives it

[18:31]turned night into day imagine what we would do without light at

[18:37]night I'm not trying to intentionally rhyme that's just how it's s

[18:44]sounding but anyway imagine how we would live in a life without

[18:49]light at night at night especially in the winter and I believe

[18:53]tonight or tomorrow night is the longest night of the year it's

[19:01]it's approximately what 133 I think hours or what 14 hours something

[19:05]like that so all those hours without any light the light of

[19:11]the sun no matter how long you would sleep you're still going

[19:16]to have to be awake during a good portion of the night

[19:21]so even if you would sleep at Sunset you're not going to

[19:24]wake up by Sunrise light it provides us with guidance it Prov

[19:29]provides us with Clarity we can see each other we can have

[19:32]so many programs because of this invention this is a blessing from

[19:38]Allah subhah wa ta'ala we could never have any of these programs

[19:42]if this invention was not made so physical light my dear brothers

[19:48]and sisters is a must anywhere we go anything we want to

[19:54]do we cannot do it in darkness in darkness there would be

[20:00]chaos I heard about a study once that was done in Germany

[20:05]they wanted to see the effect of Darkness on people's lives so

[20:11]what they did was they got a bunch of people it's a

[20:14]interesting study and they brought them to a big Hall imagine like

[20:19]this hall and then they put all of them by the wall

[20:23]with their backs on the wall and then let's say 30 40

[20:29]people lined up next to each other and then they turned off

[20:35]the light it was pitch dark black you can't see anything and

[20:38]they had one objective they had to get from one side to

[20:43]the other that's a very easy thing to ask them to do

[20:48]it's a very easy Mission an objective they just had to get

[20:51]to the other side but they had to walk in their Lane

[20:55]so imagine there's 30 40 Lanes you have to get to the

[20:59]other side without bumping into others without going left and right they

[21:06]turned off the light and they told them y go and they

[21:07]started to monitor these people not a single person was able to

[21:14]make it to the other side in a straight line the vast

[21:17]majority of them they crashed into each other there were injuries there

[21:26]were people that ended up on the other side of the room

[21:29]and it was just AA chaotic scene some of them were going

[21:37]in circles and not knowing how long do I have left some

[21:39]of them went and then they got confused and they went left

[21:45]and right and they came back all the way to the starting

[21:47]point so without light you can't get anything done life is chaotic

[21:54]there is absolutely no way to get anything done and this is

[22:01]something obvious so we need light physical light in our lives brothers

[22:05]and sisters this is very very clear but there is also another

[22:11]form of light that we need in our lives and that is

[22:17]the light for our souls our souls and Spirits also need light

[22:22]because there is so much darkness in this world in this dun

[22:28]in fact everything in this this dun is darkness and there is

[22:35]only one source of light in the world for your souls for

[22:39]your spirits and without that source of light for your R then

[22:45]you will be going into circles you will be going left and

[22:48]right and bumping into each other you'll be in full confusion complete

[22:52]chaos who's that source of light Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the

[22:59]source of light and he speaks about himself in the Quran Allah

[23:03]subhah waala [Music] says Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the new he

[23:10]is the light of the heavens he is the light of the

[23:16]world that's the only thing in the Quran that you will find

[23:22]Allah comparing himself to Allah is not like anything but the closest

[23:26]thing that we could use to grasp Allah subhana wa taala is

[23:32]light why because light is evident by itself light doesn't need something

[23:37]to illuminate it it is evident and bright by itself and number

[23:47]two what light does is it illuminates everything else and this is

[23:52]how Allah subhah wa tala is in this world Allah needs no

[23:58]one he is self-sufficient and everything else needs Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[24:03]to reach Perfection every creation needs Allah subhah wa ta'ala guidance from

[24:09]Allah wisdom from Allah Knowledge from Allah everything that we need is

[24:14]from Allah and thus he is Allah is the one that guides

[24:22]us to Iman he is the one that guides us to righteousness

[24:27]and piety he's says in the Holy Quran and the verse after

[24:37]verse 256 who's our Guardian who's the guardian of the MS it's

[24:46]Allah subhana wa ta'ala what's the role of Allah right after the

[24:49]Allah subhana wa tala says Allah subhah wa taala when he becomes

[24:57]a part of your life he takes you out from Darkness spiritual

[25:02]Darkness moral Darkness ethical darkness and he places you into the light

[25:14]of Iman and a third verse Allah subhah waala says Allah is

[25:21]the one that prays for us meaning he does Dua for us

[25:27]he sends his Blessing and his Rah and his guidance upon us

[25:34]why so that Allah subhanahu wa taala would take you out from

[25:42]the darkness and you would find the light of Iman this is

[25:44]all spiritual light it's not the physical light that Allah subhah wa

[25:52]ta'ala speaking about so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the light of

[26:00]the universe and Allah Asel has chosen certain individuals that manifest his

[26:07]light that represent and embody his new on Earth of course the

[26:12]greatest of those is he is the greatest manifestation of the N

[26:19]of Allah subhah wa ta'ala Allah says in the Holy Quran about

[26:23]believing in oh you who believe fear Allah be mindful of Allah

[26:38]and then and believe in follow the teachings of why what will

[26:42]happen the Quran says Allah will then give you if you follow

[26:56]Allah's teachings Allah will give you n and Clarity in your life

[27:01]Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala will place n in your heart you will be

[27:05]able to distinguish between right and wrong much more easily you will

[27:10]be able to distinguish between the H and B much more easily

[27:16]when you have that nure in your life you will be able

[27:21]to distinguish between what's morally acceptable and what's morally unacceptable when you

[27:26]have that n when he sent the people of Jah they were

[27:32]confused they were confused their moral compass was completely lost good things

[27:38]were bad in their eyes and bad things were good burying your

[27:43]daughter was seen as a good thing completely lost and confused being

[27:47]kind and merciful was seen as a bad thing it's for the

[27:50]weak it's not something that people saw as a virtue mercy and

[27:58]you've heard about J and how confused they were had to come

[31:44]neglected so Allah Asel said his Prophet she says Allah subhanahu wa

[32:07]to the Arabian Peninsula he started teaching people the difference between right

[32:13]and wrong what's a virtue and what's a vice he started to

[32:19]teach people how to live a meaningful life how to devote your

[32:22]life to Allah instead of spending all your lives on Wars and

[32:26]battles that's what the Arabs were fight over a camel fight over

[32:31]a horse fight over this fight over that you have a much

[32:34]greater purpose in life so he came to the people of Arabia

[32:39]and he brought that n to them and he brought them into

[32:41]the N ofed they became civilized people educated people virtuous people amongst

[32:51]the greatest Nations all due to the blessings of s alai wasam

[34:40]wrong way you'll never be confused if you find yourself confused in

[34:45]darkness know that you have either gone away from the Quran or

[34:52]you have distanced yourself from the family the so was that after

[36:07]Believer look at the clarity that Imam Ali provided we could tell

[36:11]who's a Believer and who's a hypocrite who's pretending to be a

[36:15]believer through he was the light whoever followed IM Ali whoever loved

[36:24]IM Ali after we knew that this person's Iman was real and

[36:28]whoever did not love Imam Ali there was any hatred for Ali

[36:34]in their heart we knew that this person was a hypocrite it's

[36:36]all a show I don't care how many Salat he pray I

[36:42]don't care how holy he pretends to be it's all fake and

[36:44]this was a Hadith that the prophet told IM Ali and you'll

[36:48]find this even in Muslim M only a mmin will love you

[36:58]only a True Believer will love you and only a a hypocrite

[37:01]will hate you see how he was the with Ali there is

[37:07]light without Ali don't consider yourself a Believer this is what this

[37:13]is not Iman this is hypocrisy so this was so his new

[37:21]was unbelievably powerful brothers and sisters that's why he eclipsed the N

[37:26]of all the other s there is a an accusation that sometimes

[37:36]we the the were accused of that we don't care about the

[37:41]companions of it's all what about his sahabah many of his sahaba

[37:49]were great of course we agree many of the companions of were

[37:54]great individuals that gave everything they had for Allah subhana wa ta'ala

[37:59]everything they had forol individuals like Salman Al fari like Abu like

[38:05]Amar likeit the list goes on and on I can name you

[38:11]more than a hundred but why is it we always talk about

[38:15]Ali Ali Ali Ali Ali Ali you know why brothers and sisters

[38:19]it's not because those sahabah didn't have any n they did but

[38:26]the N of Imam Ali was so strong it eclipsed everything else

[38:30]it's like you go in daylight and you're holding a candle what's

[38:35]that candle going to do does that mean the candle has no

[38:39]light leave the candle take the most powerful flashlight and go midday

[38:43]on a bright sunny day no one can even notice your light

[38:48]that doesn't mean your flashlight doesn't have any new any light of

[38:51]itself it's just the sun is just too powerful it will Eclipse

[38:56]it so that's why it was very hard for any of the

[38:59]S to shine yes there are very small instances because it was

[39:05]always and that's why in every battle in every occasion every incident

[39:12]he's praising not because he did not care about the other sahaba

[39:16]because IM Ali was in a league and of himself that's how

[39:18]great he was so there were many sahabah who were great who

[39:23]deserve all the respect of every Muslim of every believer but IM

[39:30]Ali Alam was just too great no one could shine while Imam

[39:36]Ali was there his n was just too powerful but what's interesting

[39:41]is there was one individual that lived during the time of Imam

[39:46]Ali and died before Imam Ali but his or her no was

[39:54]able to shine so bright and not be eclipsed by the new

[39:56]of IM Ali Alam can you imagine something so powerful that in

[40:05]midday you could see it as visible as the sun and that

[40:14]is was born is there he's that son he's that star whatever

[40:24]she does she's going to be eclipsed by and then imi's great

[40:29]will theoretically Eclipse her but yet you find F left such a

[40:38]beautiful Legacy her new shined in such a beautiful way that even

[40:42]though Ali was there's n was so vivid not just in the

[41:53]because when she would stand in her M to pray to Allah

[42:00]she would shine so bright that the angels of Allah in the

[42:02]heavens would see her they would say oh FAA is praying now

[42:06]it's just like when the sun is out just like when a

[42:08]very bright star is shining that was fa that's how powerful her

[42:16]n was that even in the heavens it was witnessed just like

[42:20]when we witnessed the bright stars the Angels would witness the light

[42:23]of Fatima in another Hadith one of the imams was asked about

[42:29]the zah this word and the Imam said she was named as

[42:32]zah because she would also she would also illuminate for everyone in

[42:41]Medina whoever lived in Medina the of fa would radiate in their

[42:46]lives in their homes she had a powerful impact on everyone's life

[42:52]this was F and remember who are we talking about brothers and

[42:56]sisters based on today's standards Fatima was a teenager FAA died at

[43:01]the age of 18 that's when we turned into adults we're babies

[43:05]before that Fatima left such a great legacy and she died she

[43:12]was 18 and as a teenager how much wisdom and knowledge did

[43:16]fa have that she became a beacon of light in the city

[43:22]of Medina while Imam Ali was also there many times we have

[43:26]stories that are repeated many many stories anyone in the city of

[43:33]Medina that was in need House of FAA would go to the

[44:48]Salman was disappointed but fa had vowed not to let anyone down

[44:55]not to let anyone down her new will shine and radiate all

[45:01]the time what is she going to do she took a loan

[45:04]so that she would give food to Salman she gave she only

[45:12]had one dress she gave her dress maybe her wedding dress or

[61:41]you no humble yourself the more you humble yourself the more Allah

[61:44]elevates you be humble with everyone be humble with your friends with

[62:16]worrying too much when Allah has a better system of keeping people

[62:22]in check and Allah can hold people accountable much better than you

[62:32]resist Temptations for Allah subhana sake so many Temptations in life brothers

[62:39]and sisters today you want Allah to give you n resist a

[62:46]Temptation for Allah something that is Haram it's a very nice song

[62:56]what life you've just given to your heart what n has just

[63:02]entered your heart there's a gathering of my friends and I know

[63:10]there's going to be Haram in that Gathering that's the the least

[63:19]in our eyes it's a least thing backbiting how difficult is it

[63:25]to resist that I resist backbiting or I don't want to listen

[63:35]eventually your entire heart becomes filled with the N from Allah subhanahu

[63:40]wa ta'ala the Imam then says they dedicate their days to remembering

[63:44]Allah and their nights to worship there is nothing that will give

[63:52]you new in your heart like remembering Allah like praying to Allah

[63:56]at night at night when everyone's asleep pray two ra you don't

[64:00]have to pray the entire Sal just pray two you will feel

[64:06]that no that energy in your heart this is mentioned in the

[64:11]of there's a from the prophet where Allah himself says when I

[64:14]see my servant in middle of the night everyone's asleep Darkness he

[64:18]prays to me he calls upon me I will send that n

[64:23]in his heart and that n will do wonders for you brothers

[64:27]and sisters it will make your willpower so much harder so much

[64:30]stronger it will make it so much easier for you to pray

[64:32]to stay away from Haram just do these simple things that Allah

[64:37]gives you that extra boost that energy that n and finally the

[64:43]Imam says they show compassion by feeding the hungry clothing the needy

[64:50]Sheltering The Stranger be selfless altruism compassion dedicate a portion of your

[64:59]week a portion of your month of your life to helping other

[65:01]people whether it's in your community whether it's abroad any way that

[65:05]you can the more that you can give to others the more

[65:09]new Allah subhah wa tala will give you there was never a

[65:14]time that she thought about herself it was always others she was

[65:17]hungry while she gave her food to others maybe this happened 20

[65:20]times 30 times 100 times in her life there's a famous Hadith

[65:26]with the IM H he says I saw my mother doing Dua

[65:30]she did Dua for everyone except herself I asked her my dear

[65:32]Mother when are you going to do Dua for yourself she told

[65:36]me always begin with your neighbor put yourself in the bottom of

[65:41]the list be selfless show altruism show that you care about others

[65:45]this is also one of the best ways that Allah subhah wa

[65:48]ta'ala will grant you that may Allah illuminate all of our lives

[65:53]with the love of may Allah subhanahu wa taala Inspire us so

[65:59]that we can learn from these beautiful teachings and may Allah grant

[66:03]us that new in this time that is filled with Darkness Darkness

[66:10]of immorality darkness of the violence and the Tyranny and oppression that

[66:15]we see may Allah subhah wa ta'ala grant us all that Clarity

[66:18]that new may Allah subhah wa ta'ala allow us to see the

[66:24]greatest of the NES and that is the new of our 12th

[66:26]IM inshallah may Allah subhah waala bless you all we ask Allah

[66:34]subhana waala to accept our we ask Allah subhana wa tala to

[66:38]grant us the sh of and her father and in this we
