[4:52]respected brothers and sisters today is the fifth of jamad and it

[5:00]marks marks the birth anniversary of one of the greatest Personalities in

[5:06]Islam and that is a the daughter of and a lady whose

[5:18]name is synonymous with standing against Injustice and standing against tyrants a

[5:25]lady who inspires us to use our words and our faith and

[5:35]our patience to defeat Injustice that is there are many lessons that

[5:46]we learn from the life of this honorable and Noble granddaughter of

[5:50]the prophet and daughter of and and from amongst some of the

[5:58]most important of lessons that we learned from her is how to

[6:03]deal with difficult moments in life how to defeat injustice how to

[6:10]stand against tyranny in your weakest moments in a time where you

[6:14]where you feel defeated in a time where you feel you're all

[6:20]alone in a time where you feel that everyone has left you

[6:24]how to stand with the H and how to use what people

[6:30]perceive as weakness and defeat Injustice and that is a lady that

[6:38]never compromised her values never compromised her beliefs that stood strong despite

[6:45]the most difficult challenges that any person could see in life the

[6:50]killing of her brother the killing of her brothers the killing of

[6:53]her children of her family yet Z she stood like a mountain

[7:01]in front of the enemies of God and the enemies of Islam

[7:04]Z teaches us that strength is not only through weapons and through

[7:12]military and through government and Authority today when people imagine strength today

[7:18]when people want to judge how powerful a country is the first

[7:22]thing they look at is their military capabilities the first thing they

[7:29]look at is how much weapons how many airplanes how many navy

[7:32]how big is the Navy and the Army and all of that

[7:35]that's how people judge that's the materialistic approach towards judging strength Z

[7:41]she gives us a different equation and that is strength comes from

[7:48]other means there are other ways that we could be inspired and

[7:52]we could find strength and we learned from say what were some

[7:58]of the strength of say Z a lady that despite her weakest

[8:05]moments she was able to defeat yazid she made yazid feel so

[8:08]small she made yazid feel so insignificant she made yazid feel like

[8:13]he was nothing through her words what were the strength of say

[8:19]Zab and today my dear brothers and sisters we are living in

[8:21]a time where we need to be inspired by because we are

[9:51]need to know that don't only judge everything by what you see

[9:54]in front of you Allah subhah wa ta'ala is the judge and

[9:58]Allah subhah wa ta'ala will reward and IM helps people deal with

[10:05]struggles in life today if I'm dealing with a disease I'm dealing

[10:07]with illness I'm dealing with poverty I'm dealing with a loss of

[10:10]loved one if I have faith in God I will be able

[10:15]to withstand I will be able to endure and Zam she had

[10:19]that those who don't have IM they cannot withstand those who don't

[10:23]have Iman maybe they have a military maybe they have money maybe

[10:26]they have wealth maybe they have power but you see they Crum

[10:29]crumble they crumble in the face of life's difficulties and life's challenges

[10:34]those who have IM they will be strong they will be able

[10:39]to withstand and Z teaches us that you need to have IM

[10:44]you need to never let go of your faith in Allah subhana

[10:48]wa tala this is why narrations say the Eve that IM Hussein

[11:57]look down upon the power of prayer the power of connection with

[12:01]Allah I know we live in a time where people mock this

[12:05]word people mock this sentence thoughts and prayers when I'm going to

[12:09]pray for someone they mock this they make fun of this they

[12:12]say what what is what is the prayer going to do no

[12:15]we believe that prayer is very significant and prayer helps us deal

[12:19]with life's difficulties and challenges and Allah ultimately gives Victory second Z

[12:25]she didn't have the weapons she didn't have the military but Zab

[12:30]had something that yazid and B did not have and that was

[12:36]the foresight that was the ability to have the understanding of matters

[12:40]and the understanding of the situation and this hikma and this wisdom

[12:45]and this intellect Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives it to certain people

[12:50]you don't judge how smart a person is by some of their

[12:57]behavior or deceitfulness they they asked one of the IMs I believe

[13:00]IM sad they tell him what is intellect they they tell him

[16:07]we understand this in life I put myself through school through difficulties

[16:11]and school and occupation so that I see the reward later on

[16:17]the same goes with the same goes with dignity and if I

[16:19]want to live a dignified life I have to endure if I

[16:22]want to have the I have to endure and Allah subhana tala

[16:27]says in the Quran Allah says in the Quran telling the Muslims

[16:46]during the time of the prophet and fighting and self-defense has become

[16:55]waj on you even though you don't like it who likes to

[16:58]go to war no one likes it but Allah tells the Muslims

[17:00]you have to do that even though you don't like it perhaps

[17:04]you don't like something at a certain point in your life but

[17:07]this is better for you the outcome is going to be much

[17:12]greater for you and perhaps you you love something and it turns

[17:15]out to be bad for you I love Comfort I love resting

[17:19]I love being you know not not being not going through a

[17:21]trial but that is not good for me that leaves me stagnant

[17:25]that leaves me losing my dignity losing my Karama losing my honor

[17:29]and not gaining a place in the afterlife Z was able to

[17:34]see that very rarely do you find a group of people in

[17:36]a community in society that are able to see beyond the difficulties

[17:41]and see beyond the challenges she did see that she says I

[17:48]saw nothing but Beauty and this is z a third lesson that

[17:57]we learned from is the power of patience the power of having

[18:01]that IM and maintaining that patience and being able to withstand my

[18:06]dear brothers and sisters life is all challenges every day in life

[18:12]is a difficult challenge but we have to persevere we have to

[18:16]have patience and this is the difference between a M and a

[18:18]person who's not a m the one who does not have faith

[18:22]in God they say why should I be patient I want I

[18:25]want my reward now why should I be patient for tomorrow I

[18:27]don't believe in tomorrow I don't believe in God that's what they

[18:30]say but a no you believe in the you believe in J

[18:35]you believe in the accountability you believe in Judgment Day so for

[18:40]you being patient is okay and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala tells the Muslims

[18:45]Allah subhana waala tells the prophets that you have to remain patient

[18:50]you have to not show any weakness Z she remained strong now

[18:57]does this mean if I'm patient I don't cry I don't show

[18:59]emotions no this is not what it means to be patient she

[19:04]cried he cried the IMs of the they cried but being patient

[19:11]means we don't question why is God doing this to me and

[19:14]nowhere do you see the family of the Prophet they questioned why

[19:20]Allah did this to them say she never questioned he lost his

[19:51]don't show emotions and I live like a robot no you show

[19:54]emotions there's nothing wrong with showing emotions as long as you don't

[20:00]question why is God doing this to me as long as you

[20:01]don't show weakness and crumble and you allow your emotions to overcome

[20:07]your faith and your emotions to overcome your and your intellect say

[20:11]she remains strong this is why Zam at the body of IM

[20:18]Hussein she began to cry but in front of yazid she stood

[20:24]like a mountain in front of zad she stood very strong she

[20:26]there is a time to show emotions and there's a time to

[20:32]show strength and IM Hussein he tells her oh Zab do not

[21:04]telling Believers be patient be patient be patient read the Quran Allah

[21:09]keeps reminding the people to be patient oh you people oh Believers

[21:14]patiently endure persevere stand guard and be mindful of Allah so you

[21:18]may be successful Allah tells the prophet you have to be patient

[21:27]just like the great prophets they were patient Allah tells keeps reminding

[21:32]the to be patient because through patience we will be able to

[21:37]persevere through patience we will be able to deal with life's difficulties

[21:41]and challenges and this is one of the most important lessons we

[21:45]learn from this honorable and Noble lady she was patient a fourth

[21:54]lesson that we learn from is to have that strong Tong that

[22:00]does not shy away from speaking the truth and that is one

[22:08]of the greatest lessons we learn from this honorable lady Allah subhah

[22:14]waala has given you that tongue Allah subhah wa tala has given

[22:18]the insan the human being Allah says I taught you how to

[22:22]speak I taught you that ability to communicate use that communication in

[22:30]a positive way use that ability to speak against Injustice use that

[22:35]ability to speak against the wrong use that today there are many

[22:38]people because of wealth because of Dunya because of their comfort they

[22:43]either remain silent they don't say anything or they side with the

[22:46]side of B they side with wrong because of a few dollars

[22:51]because of a few things here and there they speak the wrong

[22:56]and they begin to appease to and praise the tyrants this is

[22:58]not how a m should be a m should not do that

[23:02]a m should not go down to that level to be to

[23:05]be at a level where you begin to praise the wrongdoers this

[23:09]is wrong because of some Dunya and according to the of the

[23:18]and says the most beloved acts of jihad in the eyes of

[23:35]Allah is to say the words of truth in front of a

[23:39]tyrant to be able to say the words of the truth in

[23:41]front of a tyrant in another Hadith he says saying joining the

[23:59]good and forbidding the evil it's not going to bring your death

[24:02]near and it's not going to make your risk less a lot

[24:05]of people they say if I speak the word of truth I

[24:08]might be killed if I speak the word of truth then my

[24:10]my risk my sustenance is going to be compromised says no this

[24:14]is what God has promised for you this is the risk that

[24:16]God has given you and this is what you will receive and

[24:25]the best of that is to say the word of to to

[24:30]say the word of Justice in front of a tyrant and look

[24:36]at z z she was protected Zab the modest Zab that no

[24:39]one would see her Shadow but Zab was taken to the Palace

[24:43]of IB zad and taken to the Palace of yazid and Zab

[24:45]there she shook the foundations of their government she tells IB zad

[24:52]she calls him she tells him you will stand in front of

[24:56]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and she ridiculed him and she did the

[25:04]same with yazid so this is one of the lessons that we

[25:09]learn from to speak the word of the truth and if you're

[25:13]if you're afraid of doing anything else at least speak the word

[25:19]of the truth and our duty as Muslims my dear brothers and

[25:21]sisters and we keep reminding of this is to always side with

[25:24]the H against the B I cannot there are other people there

[25:29]comp they'll compromise principles and values for the sake of money for

[25:32]the sake of wealth for the sake of power for the sake

[25:36]of all of that we cannot do that Allah subhah ta'ala will

[25:38]judge us based on our actions and one of the most important

[25:42]actions is that we have to choose to side with h against

[25:48]Injustice we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to to give us that

[25:54]power and that strength the same way as had that power and

[26:25]strength alhamdulillah muham muham mam husin muhammedi Muhammed Muhammad one of the

[28:04]questions that people often time ask is why does God reward the

[28:10]oppressors why does Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala keep an oppressor in power

[28:15]someone who's aim someone who's definitely in the wrong why would Allah

[28:20]Elevate this person and allow this person to be in a position

[28:26]of power and authority this applies to today in our time and

[28:30]this also applies during the time of the why were the who

[28:36]were with the they were marginalized and a man like yazid comes

[28:39]to power the oppressors they come and they rule Benya ruled for

[28:42]80 years where is God's justice in that today we see individuals

[29:55]that living longer and having power is good for them they are

[30:03]only given more time to increase in sin and they will suffer

[30:07]a humiliating punishment my dear brothers and sisters we believe God is

[30:12]just Allah is AD sometimes Justice comes very quick and very Swift

[30:17]and sometimes Justice takes time sometimes Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will allow

[30:23]allow things to play out so that real Justice will come and

[30:30]into play and obviously and definitely we believe that there's Justice in

[30:36]the afterlife but Allah subhana does not reward an oppressor Allah subhana

[30:42]wa tala does not give more praise and more reward to an

[30:45]oppressor sometimes oppressors they think that Ben after they killed IM Hussein

[30:49]yazid thought that God Favored him and God made IM Hussein lose

[30:52]because he defeated he killed IM Hussein but Zam she tells him

[30:56]no no no don't think that way Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sometimes

[31:01]allows a person to go into power and to remain into Power

[31:07]then The Messengers and the Warners and the prophets they will come

[31:11]and they will warn this person what you're doing is wrong then

[31:16]they will reject the word of The Messengers then they will be

[31:19]worthy of a more horrific adab from Allah subhana tala then the

[31:23]punishment will be deserving to them then they will be deserving of

[31:28]the punishment Allah talks about this concept in another verse in the

[31:39]Quran Allah says when we want to punish a village we will

[31:44]send the prophets and The Messengers to warn them and guide them

[31:46]if they listen then good for them and good for the prophets

[31:51]and The Messengers but if they reject then then the punishment is

[31:55]going to be they're going to be deserving of the punishment they're

[31:58]going to be deserving of God's Wrath so Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala has

[32:04]different ways of allowing his Justice to play out of course in

[32:11]the Justice definitely comes but in this dun sometimes Allah subhana wa

[32:14]tala will take power swiftly and immediately from someone and sometimes Allah

[32:19]will allow this person to remain to test them are you going

[32:22]to do good if you do good then you will be worthy

[32:25]of the reward you'll be worthy of the mercy but if you

[32:29]do bad then the punishment is going to be much more severe

[32:32]so we ask Allah subhah wa ta'ala to allow us to see

[32:38]Justice play out in this life before the now my dear brothers

[32:41]and sisters just a few comments regarding the elections on Tuesday one

[32:47]alhamdulillah we saw that the power of the Muslim vote came into

[32:53]play and it was a very impactful and a very decisive power

[32:58]that the Muslims had and this is why you turn on all

[33:02]the news channels and they're talking about the Muslim vote especially the

[33:06]Muslim votes in Michigan and we talked about this and we continue

[33:10]to remind the community that in this country the only way they're

[33:15]going to look at you and they're going to respect you and

[33:17]they're going to listen to what you're saying one of the only

[33:19]ways is through elections when you vote Yes they ignore us the

[33:25]whole the whole time but election season they'll come and they'll listen

[33:27]to us this is better than ignoring us even during election season

[33:30]right so we we use that power and we use that numbers

[33:38]that we have to influence politics whatever way we can sometimes it

[33:43]doesn't work our way but at least this is a sign that

[33:48]the Muslims exist that the Muslims are strong and if we cannot

[33:53]make someone win we could make someone lose and this is also

[33:55]a power this is also a way of strength so this is

[34:01]this was good that the Muslims came out in a large number

[34:04]and spoke out you could we mentioned last week as long as

[34:09]you speak out it doesn't matter who you're voting for as long

[34:11]as you're voting for H and you you go with your principles

[34:15]but as long as you tell them that you exist and you

[34:19]the oppressor did not deserve my vote this is one another very

[34:24]important point is that over for over one year the Muslim Community

[34:28]has been protesting and speaking out and every week every week protest

[34:35]every week speaking out against the ongoing genocide that is being funded

[34:41]by Biden and by Biden's Administration and we used all forms all

[34:45]methods of telling them what you're doing is wrong what you're doing

[34:49]is B what you're doing you're killing thousands of people when it

[34:52]came to protest we went to the protest when it came to

[34:57]speaking out we spoke out when it came to uh voting uncommitted

[34:59]over a 100,000 people voted uncommitted but you see the B the

[35:05]tyrants sometimes they're blinded by power you keep sending them signals you

[35:09]keep sending them signs and signs and signs the same way Allah

[35:14]sent nine signs Allah said we sent nine signs and he ignored

[35:17]all of them and then he was worthy of the punishment the

[35:22]Muslims and not only the Muslims anyone who's speaking out against the

[35:26]war they came and they protested this genocide that is funded by

[35:30]the Biden Administration and by the US government and promoted by Biden's

[35:34]Administration they came and they said instead of changing the policy they

[35:39]came and they changed the the candidate they removed Biden then they

[35:42]came and they put Harris but they didn't change the policy the

[35:45]policy was the same the funding and the killing of innocent people

[35:49]and Muslims were not even given a platform to speak they have

[35:52]the Democratic National Convention not a single Muslim was invited to speak

[35:58]they didn't they were afraid of the Muslims if they come out

[36:02]and they speak and today you see that they took the Muslim

[36:05]vote for granted and they lost Biden lost and Harris lost because

[36:11]they were promoting genocide because they were promoting B because they were

[36:16]promoting the wrong today you hear commentators they come and they say

[36:18]why did they lose and they're trying to give all these reasons

[36:20]they don't want to say the truth because it's genocide this is

[36:25]the reality whether they like it or not some of them they

[36:27]are acknowledging it some of them are not so this is the

[36:31]truth you support genocide you support wrong you're not going to remain

[36:35]in power Allah does not allow that to continue now as a

[36:38]result because the US is a two-party system Trump came to power

[36:44]is Trump better than Biden not necessarily but today there are some

[36:50]Muslims and there are some people that came and they said no

[36:52]he promised peace and he promised to change things do we believe

[36:59]that or not based on his record probably not but now we

[37:03]have to see we have to wait and see if he chooses

[37:06]to believe if he chooses to go with his promises this is

[37:08]good for him and good for the American economy and good for

[37:12]American people and it's good for everyone this is the promise that

[37:14]he made to the American people and if he does not go

[37:18]with it then his ending will be just like Biden's as well

[37:20]and his ending will be just like all of the other oppressors

[37:26]in history where Allah tells them so we we believe in God

[37:39]and we believe that God's justice will play out we don't know

[37:41]when our job is to speak out against the Injustice our job

[37:46]is to continue protesting against the wrong and speak the word of

[37:50]the truth whenever we can we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to

[37:53]bless us all and bless you all and we ask to end

[37:58]the suffering and the oppression that is going on in the Muslim

[38:02]world right now especially in Lebanon and Gazza and in other places

[38:07]in the Muslim world my dear brothers and sisters next week we

[38:12]will be commemorating the martyrdom of the leader the greatest woman on

[38:21]to ever step foot on Earth and that is f according to

[38:25]the narration that fat left the slight 70 days after the death

[38:30]of the Prophet so we're going to have a Magus two night
