[1:40]the confrontation between imam al hassan and muawiyah without a doubt is
[1:48]one of the darkest episodes in the history of the religion of
[1:52]islam indeed the discussion concerning their relationship is one of the most
[1:57]sensitive and controversial discussions you find that only thirty years after the
[2:03]holy prophet and his family had passed away it became normal for
[2:10]the muslim community to fight members of his holy household to have
[2:15]hate for members of his holy household to be ready to go
[2:18]to war with members of his holy household as in by the
[2:23]time we reach the forty first year after hijra you find that
[2:27]a number of the members of the holy household had either been
[2:30]angered or had been fought or had armies which were raised against
[2:35]them which were obeying for their blood a lot of the members
[2:39]of these armies were personalities who themselves were guided by the holy
[2:43]prophet and his family indeed you find that when you look and
[2:48]see and examine the battles that took place after the holy prophet
[2:53]and his family had died it became normal for people who had
[2:57]lived alongside the holy prophet to now raise their swords against members
[3:01]of his family one only has to look for example at the
[3:04]battles of jamal and saffin to find that it had become a
[3:08]norm for a group of people to fight for example imam ali
[3:12]and by the time we had reached the forty first year after
[3:17]hijra this norm had continued that you'd expect the members of a
[3:21]religion to look after the members of the household of the prophet
[3:26]who came with that religion and the very least the person would
[3:29]show them some sort of honor and some sort of reverence but
[3:33]when one examines the confrontation between imam al hassan and muawiyah it
[3:38]had come to a point where it had become normal for a
[3:41]person to despise the grandson of rasulallah and that's why when you
[3:47]come to this confrontation between imam al hassan and between muawiyah the
[3:52]son of abi sufyan you find that each and every school in
[3:55]the religion of islam has their own understanding and their own framework
[4:00]and their own narrative on this area there are those who say
[4:03]for example imam al hassan alaihis salam was in the right and
[4:07]muawiyah was in the wrong but that we shouldn't talk about these
[4:11]things because it would harden our heart we admit that imam al
[4:15]hassan was wronged in what took place but if we talk about
[4:20]these things this will harden our hearts we will start having hate
[4:24]against one another and therefore it's better to leave it to allah
[4:28]to judge between them this narrative is of course a plausible narrative
[4:33]in the sense that if someone wants to hold on to that
[4:36]narrative that's between them and their lord then there are others who
[4:41]for example have the narrative that hassan fought muawiyah and in their
[4:49]fighting one another there was a fitna that had taken place and
[4:52]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the best judge to them neither is
[4:57]hassan higher than muawiyah nor is muawiyah higher than hasan as in
[5:02]even when they talk about imam al hasan they won't say imam
[5:05]al hasan or imam al hasan it'll be a case of look
[5:10]hasan and muawiya had a dispute with one another and that's it
[5:14]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the best of judges then you'll have
[5:17]a third group who might say that imam al hasan fought emir
[5:22]muawiyah so they give the title in relation to a monarchy for
[5:26]example for many recognize that the umayyads were a kingdom and that
[5:31]what came before the umayyads was a khilafa of sorts so they
[5:35]say that imam al hassan fought amir muawiya then there's a fourth
[5:43]group and that is the shia for us of course imam al
[5:46]hassan alaihis salam is the very embodiment of truth and fought the
[5:51]embodiment of falsehood for us when we look at a dispute where
[5:56]somebody raises a sword against the grandson of rasulullah that for us
[6:04]the lines are clear for all of us to see there is
[6:07]nothing illogical about the conclusion at the end of the day when
[6:11]you look at the two sides it is very clear where they
[6:14]both have come from on the one hand you have imam al
[6:17]hassan grandson of rasulullah father ali ibn abiata'al mother fatima al sahaalaihi
[6:26]salaam you look at muawiyah and on his side father abu sufyan
[6:31]mother hind so you have on the one side the very household
[6:35]where revelation emerges and on the other hand side you've got the
[6:40]very people who fought revelation even if somebody sat back and did
[6:45]not have an inclination to call themselves shi'aam or sunni or salafi
[6:50]or brelvi or diobandi or sufi just by looking at the comparison
[6:56]between the households where they were raised and where they were nurtured
[7:01]you'll find that it's very clear a person does not need to
[7:04]be a professor of islamic studies for them to see the clear
[7:08]difference between somebody who was raised in a house where jibrail and
[7:13]mika'il used to attend and somebody who was raised in a house
[7:17]where you had a drunkard and a cannibal as parents there's a
[7:20]clear difference even today in our own societies psychologically where you are
[7:25]raised has an effect on your psyche if i am raised being
[7:29]nurtured by the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family
[7:34]it's different from being raised by a cannibal who doesn't mind eating
[7:38]the liver of the uncle of rasulallah sallallahu alaihi wa aalehi and
[7:42]that's why when you look at the traditions there are traditions which
[7:46]are given to imam al hassan alaihi wa sallam that nobody could
[7:49]claim were ever given to muawiyam for example the tradition that i
[7:53]quoted at the beginning of this majlis when rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi
[7:59]in sunni and shia literature so it's not just in our literature
[8:02]in sunni and shia literature you'll find that rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi
[8:06]says hassan and hussein are what are the masters of the youth
[8:17]of paradise when the holy prophet and his family says this i
[8:22]ask anyone that if the prophet and his family is saying these
[8:27]are the masters of paradise when you raise your sword against the
[8:31]masters of paradise what position does that put you in can you
[8:35]really reach a conclusion where you say that the one being fought
[8:39]is in jannah and the one who is fighting him is in
[8:43]jannah as in the quran on numerous occasions told us do not
[8:47]ponder not reflect sometimes there's this asabi'ah that exists where a person
[8:53]holds on to their belief system even though the evidence is so
[8:57]clear as i've said it on many occasions when we talk to
[9:00]non muslims we always say to them why don't you use your
[9:03]head is this logical the moment they join islam we tell them
[9:07]stop using your head so you have a tradition here from the
[9:10]holy prophet peace be upon his family al hasan al hussain sayyid
[9:14]hassan and hussain are the masters of the youth of paradise likewise
[9:18]the holy prophet on many occasions will make it clear that allah
[9:24]loves the one who loves hassan or allah loves the one who
[9:28]loves hussain i ask you are there any such traditions for muawiyah
[9:33]or not can you find me traditions where the prophet peace be
[9:37]upon him's family says that muawiyah and his father abu sufyan and
[9:41]his mother hind are the gatekeepers of jannah at the very least
[9:44]let's say that they auctioned away the masters of jannah maybe someone
[9:48]bought a new lot in the auction called the gatekeepers of jannah
[9:52]can you ever show me any a tradition like this can you
[9:55]show me a tradition where the prophet says loving muawiyah is faith
[9:59]and hatred of muawiyah is hypocrisy if there are such traditions then
[10:04]why would i as a muslim not want to take these traditions
[10:07]at the end of the day what is it i'm involved in
[10:09]a war with someone at the end of the day i know
[10:12]i have a grave and i have a day of judgment and
[10:15]therefore i need to make sure that i'm on the side of
[10:18]those who rasulullah sallallaho alaihi wa alaihi nurtured raised because wallah it's
[10:24]an insult that i put in the same sentence as imam al
[10:28]hassan it's an insult in all honesty as in when i have
[10:32]to put muawiyah on the same sentence as imam al hassan alaihis
[10:37]salam then clearly it shows you the oppression of history and how
[10:42]history in some cases was written by the victors imam al hassan
[10:46]the embodiment of knowledge wisdom eloquence courage nurtured in the house of
[10:53]revelation i put him in the same sentence as muawi ibn abi
[10:58]sufyan as they would say as in in which way can you
[11:03]compare the two of these but sadly and of all sadnesses you
[11:08]find that not only did they compare them they put them on
[11:11]the same level playing field that today when people for example discuss
[11:16]imam al hassan al muawiyah they say that these two are virtually
[11:20]equal to one another and that these two may have had a
[11:24]dispute but they're not to be both looked at in a negative
[11:28]way and that's why how many times do you hear people saying
[11:30]imam al hassan was a weak imam he didn't have the bravery
[11:35]of imam al hussain and how many times do you hear people
[11:39]saying imam al hassan abdicated his throne and how many times do
[11:44]you hear people saying that imam al hassan was bribed by a
[11:47]certain amount of money that if he accepts this money then he
[11:51]will leave leadership and how many times do you hear that people
[11:54]saying that imam al hassan was someone who pledged allegiance to muawiyah
[11:59]i'm sure you hear these things that imam al hassan pledged allegiance
[12:02]because sometimes in these discussions you hear people saying that if imam
[12:07]al hassan had a problem with muawiyah why would he pledge allegiance
[12:10]to muawiyah if imam al hassan alaihi salaam had a problem with
[12:14]muawiyah why would he give him baia if imam al hassan alaihi
[12:17]salaam had a problem with muawiyah how could he let muawiyah lead
[12:21]and therefore they raised question marks concerning whether imam al hassan was
[12:26]an adequate leader for the religion of islam and rather they look
[12:31]at him as a person without wisdom and insight tonight i'd like
[12:35]to dispel all of these myths and insults towards imam al hassan
[12:39]alaihi salaam by making it clear tonight about our position and our
[12:45]narrative in relation to imam al hassan his leadership and what took
[12:51]place with muawiyah tomorrow night i'll go further and how imam al
[12:55]hassan exposes the character of muawiyah and amrab al as and walid
[13:00]bin akbah and the rest of the umayyads and their henchmen but
[13:05]tonight let me just focus on imam al hassan with muawiyah and
[13:10]i'd like to do this in the following stages number one what
[13:13]are the prerequisites when it comes to authority and governance that highlight
[13:18]to us the importance of understanding the concept of leadership in shia
[13:24]thought number two when imam al hassan calls for offensive jihad against
[13:32]somebody what does that say about the person he's fighting and what
[13:36]does that say about the character of the opposition number three when
[13:41]we come towards imam al hassan what did he say about his
[13:45]soldiers that highlighted why he felt it was better that the war
[13:50]does not continue number four does this have a precedence in the
[13:55]life of his grandfather rasulullah and how important was the sul of
[14:01]hudaybiyyah in understanding the sul of imam al hassan alaihis salam and
[14:06]which verse of the holy quran highlights that you shouldn't ruin yourselves
[14:11]into perdition when you see a situation where muslims and their blood
[14:16]is about to be shed number five what were the terms of
[14:19]that treaty and how did imam al hassan highlight that if you
[14:23]want to expose muawiyah this is the best way to expose him
[14:28]number six did imam al hassan abdicate and therefore pledge allegiance and
[14:34]how is this completely looked at and an area of disagreement when
[14:40]we see the way imam al hassan calls muawiyah a liar number
[14:45]seven how did imam al hussain highlight that not only is a
[14:49]muawiyah a liar but he is one of the soldiers of shaytan
[14:53]and at the same time one of the party of oppression and
[14:57]how did imam al hussain also highlight that it's my wish that
[15:01]i could fight muawiyah for it is an act that would gain
[15:04]me closeness to allah swt and finally how did the final point
[15:10]in the treaty eventually lead to karbala and how did the umayyad
[15:14]show that whether you are a 57 year old grandson of the
[15:17]prophet or a three and a half year old great granddaughter of
[15:21]rasoolallah sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi all of them were to be oppressed let's
[15:25]examine this and dissect the topic in complete depth when a person
[15:30]examines imam al hassan alaihi salam and muawiyah there are a couple
[15:34]of prerequisites that need to be understood in this discussion which in
[15:39]my humble opinion have been glossed over for a long time the
[15:44]first of them is that an imam does not lose his position
[15:49]even if he is not at the political helm what do we
[15:53]mean for us an imam of ahlul bayt is an imam of
[16:00]different areas an imam he may be spiritually a guide legislatively a
[16:06]guide politically a guide if he's not a guide in the political
[16:11]sphere meaning that he's not leading a country or an empire does
[16:16]that mean he's lost his imam not at all because it's up
[16:21]to the people to benefit from the presence of the imam if
[16:26]the people are not benefiting from the presence of an imam this
[16:30]the people's loss the imam remains an imam chosen by allah swt
[16:36]the whole idea when it comes to imam amir al mumineen or
[16:40]imam al hasan is that some people say that imam al hasan
[16:45]abdicated and therefore lost his leadership for us imam al hassan was
[16:51]already a leader chosen by allah subhanahu wa ta'ala just because you're
[16:56]not ruling politically doesn't mean you lose any of the sharia of
[17:00]your rule what do i mean imam ali was chosen on the
[17:04]day of gadir was he announced by rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'ale on
[17:08]the of gadir of course he was when rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'ale
[17:12]died was imam ali now the khalifa of the muslims after saqifa
[17:17]no not at all after saqifa happened the khalifa of the muslims
[17:21]was abu bakr does that mean imam ali has lost his leadership
[17:25]or his imam not at all imam ali alaihis salam is still
[17:29]the imam of salman he is still the imam of abu dar
[17:32]he's still the imam of makhdad he's still the imam of amar
[17:36]bin yasser hudayef ali aman abu sa'id al khidri jabir bin abdullah
[17:40]al ansari all of these to them there was only one imam
[17:44]who was present after rasulallah sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi died just because you've
[17:49]gone to saqifa and you've had an election at saqifa doesn't mean
[17:53]that imam ali ibn abi talib has lost any of his authority
[17:57]rather imam ali alaihi salam like rasulallah said is like the kaaba
[18:03]you go to him he doesn't come to you hajj is a
[18:07]barakah for me and you do you agree if i don't go
[18:11]to hajj does hajj lose its sanctity not at all the kaaba
[18:15]couldn't care less if i'm doing tawaf or if my friend from
[18:18]nigeria is doing tawaf or if my friend from indonesia doing tawaf
[18:22]the kaaba sanctity remains at the highest whether we go or we
[18:28]don't but when we do go to the kaaba we're the ones
[18:31]who are benefiting from the presence of the kaaba ahlul bayt sallallahu
[18:35]alaihi never lose the sharia of their leadership even if they're not
[18:40]at the political helm if you want somebody else at the political
[18:45]helm that's your choice you then have to answer allah subhanahu wa
[18:49]ta'ala as to how you establish leadership in a way different to
[18:54]the way the quran was establishing leadership the quran kept on saying
[18:58]i'm the one who chooses my khalifa on earth we are the
[19:09]ones who chose you as a khalifa on the earth imam i
[19:15]have made you an imam on the earth since when did we
[19:18]have a concept where people come together and fight for who becomes
[19:22]an imam as in do you know what the problem with sakifa
[19:25]was the problem with saqifa is good people could come into power
[19:29]but even the worst of the worst could also come into power
[19:32]one day saqifa opened the door for everybody to put their name
[19:36]to be president of the united of the land of medina because
[19:41]what then happens is that anybody can come and there's a ballot
[19:45]a new vote and therefore the worst of the worst can become
[19:50]president of that particular country or that particular state therefore when imam
[19:55]alaihi alaihi salam some say that imam lost his leadership the ummah
[20:00]lost the leadership of ali ali ibn abi talib did not lose
[20:03]any leadership imam ali ibn abi talib alaihi salam on the country
[20:06]if you wanted to come and ask him a question about tafsir
[20:10]of the quran ta'wil of the quran tansil of the quran alm
[20:15]of the past alm of balaya alm of manaya then the madinah
[20:20]had passed it on to the bab he had made it clear
[20:24]that this man is the door you lost out on ali ibn
[20:27]abi talib honestly as in this ummah this religion i've always said
[20:31]it in past lectures if amir al mumineen had been for another
[20:35]religion they would have benefited more than us we had al ibn
[20:39]ibn al al alaihi and we lost therefore for us what do
[20:42]we see number one this idea that because imam al hassan is
[20:46]not the khalifa of the muslims means imam al hassan is weak
[20:50]on the contrary it's the muslims who lost out on the leadership
[20:52]of imam al hasan alaihi salam but one thing imam al hasan
[20:56]alaihi salam would never do is force his leadership on people al
[21:00]al bayt will never force their leadership on you if you reach
[21:04]a situation where you don't believe that they should lead you they'll
[21:08]happily say well then you come and discuss you come and have
[21:11]your leaders as imam ali made it clear that this khalafa is
[21:14]worth what sneezing of a goat or an ant not worth anything
[21:18]like this for me for you you pride yourself on such leadership
[21:22]the day of gadir showed who the greatest was so therefore on
[21:26]the first level with the first prerequisite of governance and authority in
[21:30]tashayyah is that whether you're an imam that the people have taken
[21:34]on doesn't make you lose the sharia of what allah has given
[21:37]you secondly ex convicts don't become leaders second principle in tashayyah muawiyah
[21:43]abu sufyan are all ex cons in which sense they came towards
[21:48]the religion of islam on the day of the opening of mecca
[21:52]you imagine there's a whole prison of enemies of rasoolallah sallallaho alaihi
[21:57]wa'alehi in one prison and then one day you grant amnesty the
[22:01]haraqi government does this often they grant amnesty maybe for example to
[22:06]people who have killed us and been tyrannical to us and tortured
[22:09]us in the hope that maybe this person maybe there's some sort
[22:13]of soft heart in them because he is and so when he
[22:17]opened the doors on the day of mecca the opening of mecca
[22:21]that was a day when we saw the emergence of a group
[22:24]what was their name sayyidah zaynab made this clear when she said
[22:30]is it just o son of those who were released or freed
[22:37]on the day of mecca are those who didn't join islam the
[22:42]way abu dar joined islam the way salman joined islam the way
[22:46]musa'ab joined islam the way bilal joined islam are those who realize
[22:51]that listen if we don't now join this religion we're gonna be
[22:54]in no man's land because now they've got medina and they've got
[22:57]mecca in the past we would ridicule them we'd torture them we'd
[23:01]oppress them those tolaka can i be certain of his faith of
[23:05]course i can't be a person who's an ex con i've let
[23:08]him out of prison and given him an amnesty how am i
[23:11]certain of this guy's faith for all i know this guy like
[23:14]when you see someone sometimes he becomes muslim just for marriage they
[23:18]marry they want to marry this girl for example in the community
[23:21]and they'll say okay i'll do the shahad just so that you
[23:24]could do the akhid or the katbikta or the nikah so they'll
[23:26]just do it you don't know how much conviction this person has
[23:29]of course this person their blood is to be honored but that
[23:32]person's always counted as an ex con notice say that zaynab would
[23:36]never refer to them as what as for example amin al adli
[23:39]yabna abi sufyan for example or yabna hindu or whatever no yabna
[23:43]tulaqa because you people's faith is not to be taken and that's
[23:48]why in certain schools of islam the tulaqa should not really be
[23:52]leaders because the tulaqa at any second their jahiliyah the hamiyah of
[23:58]the days of jahiliyah suddenly erupts because any second that person who
[24:03]has not come to islam through understanding through comprehension through reflection all
[24:09]of a sudden if that jahiliyah click comes in them then what's
[24:12]al ibn abidah one after the other they'll go after them so
[24:15]therefore for us number two the tulakah cannot be leaders number three
[24:20]and of the utmost importance that is that we do not despite
[24:26]or when we despise someone like muawiyah it doesn't begin with imam
[24:31]al hassan our problem with muawiyah doesn't begin with imam al hassan
[24:36]when a person fights imam alaihi alaihi salam for us already that
[24:40]they're in the world of disbelief already what do you think this
[24:43]is imam al hassan versus muawiyah the moment the man raised his
[24:48]sword against emir al mumineen he can fall into three categories either
[24:53]he falls into al bahi for example he is one of those
[24:57]when the prophet would say so he either falls into an infidel
[25:03]or transgressor or kaafir for us that he falls into disbelief or
[25:08]he falls into the category of those who are wrong and ask
[25:11]for forgiveness after they fought imam ali alaihis salam you may be
[25:15]someone who fights imam ali alaihis salam and you may then ask
[25:18]for forgiveness you may be someone who is clearly an individual and
[25:23]you may be someone who is pure kufar when i say all
[25:26]of this of course that's my narrative that's not the narrative of
[25:28]other schools in islam and other schools can have their own narrative
[25:32]but for us and this is of the utmost importance our disbelief
[25:37]in muawiyah and our dissociation in muawiyah began with his war against
[25:44]imam ali alaihis salam we don't have a problem with muawiyah because
[25:48]muawiyah has a problem with imam al hassan muawi already the moment
[25:53]saffin happened that's when the x came if my prophet peace bewah
[25:58]wa sallam says he's given me a barometer that barometer is anyone
[26:04]who fights this person is a person who is in the world
[26:07]of disbelief or an infidel or a transgressor unless they've been innocently
[26:12]duped into fighting let's say like where a person changes that person
[26:18]is a transgressor straight away such a person therefore when we come
[26:23]towards him why do the shia despise muawiyah because there are people
[26:27]who cannot believe that in ziyarat ashura we say allah they say
[26:34]why do you shia say this and they have a point because
[26:36]many of them they're not privy to these discussions we despise because
[26:41]for us to fight the holy household is to fight rasulullah i
[26:46]ask you if someone like amrab nawid al amr fights imam ali
[26:50]what would you say about amrab nawid is there a single muslim
[26:53]in the world who thinks that amrab nawid at khandaq was maybe
[26:57]a muslim half a muslim quarter muslim 0.1 muslim no why because
[27:03]rasulullah sallallahu alaihi was said the whole of iman fights the whole
[27:07]of kufr that means that anybody who fights ali is in that
[27:12]territory of kufr in the territory of kufr unless they repent then
[27:17]they are in that territory of kufr because fighting ali is fighting
[27:20]muhammad sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi so therefore when we come to these these
[27:25]prerequisites are fundamental that number one he doesn't lose his shariah even
[27:29]if the political leadership is with someone else number two the qur'aqa
[27:33]never come near the qursi and number three him fighting imam ali
[27:37]has already put him in the world of kufr for us with
[27:40]imam al hassan imam al hassan that's why imam wanted to have
[27:43]an offensive jihad against muhawiya not defensive imam al hassan was not
[27:47]defending himself the way we see for example badr uhud these are
[27:51]defensive wars and imam of ahlul bayt can call for offensive jihad
[27:57]or for defensive jihad defensive jihad someone's making a raid into medina
[28:04]therefore i have to defend my land this permission has been given
[28:13]to the believers to defend themselves but also offensive jihad allah bless
[28:20]his soul believes that the faqee who represents the masoom has some
[28:28]of the authority of the masoom including offensive jihad aayatullah al khoo
[28:34]he says because the remit of the masoom is he can also
[28:38]call for offensive jihad imam al hassan alaihis salam with muawiyah a
[28:44]fundamental point and that is he called for offensive jihad for an
[28:49]imam to call for offensive jihad that means he's fighting the embodiment
[28:53]of kufr he's fighting someone who represents transgression corruption and disbelief someone
[29:02]says well if imam al hasan so wanted to do this that
[29:05]means that imam al hasan completely believed in the disbelief of that
[29:08]man completely no way did ahlul bayt believe that this person opposing
[29:13]them had any islam in them ahlul bayt looked at this and
[29:18]knew that this person was far from the religion if not kufr
[29:22]then nifaq maybe publicly you cannot deny that muawiyah would call for
[29:26]salat al jumaa or for things like this shahar ramadan and so
[29:30]on but in the heart imam al hassan in the calling of
[29:33]offensive jihad is making it clear that for us the lovers of
[29:37]muhammad that's an enemy like his dad was an enemy and his
[29:42]cannibal mom was an enemy so what then why didn't the war
[29:45]go ahead cause you know muawiyah muawiyah was ready muawiyah had his
[29:50]men imam al hassan as soon as he became khalifa he raised
[29:55]the wages of the soldiers straight away the soldiers their wages were
[29:59]doubled if not tripled he wanted everybody to get ready for war
[30:03]because you know there are some people who say imam al hassan
[30:04]is not like imam al hussain alaihi salaam imam al hussain brave
[30:08]imam al hussain wants to fight at karbala imam al hassan alaihi
[30:11]salaam as soon as he became imam of the muslims and khalifa
[30:16]like his father the only two to combine the two straight away
[30:21]the wages of the soldiers get them ready we've got business to
[30:24]finish i want to go towards shyam and i want to fight
[30:28]him it wasn't a case that we're just gonna hold back i
[30:32]have that person in my mind and i want to fight him
[30:36]muawiyah at the same time he felt he had unfinished business as
[30:39]well and you imagine this muawiyah does not hold back grandson of
[30:43]muhammad who cares grandson of rasoolallah who were the son-in-law of muhammad
[30:48]i fought at safeen and i was ready to have soldiers butcher
[30:51]him even this grandson i don't care if he's the master of
[30:54]the youth of paradise tell me someone who raises forty zero soldiers
[30:58]to come and fight the grandson of rasulullah sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi you
[31:02]still call him emir honestly as in if someone raises ask any
[31:07]muslims and there are many innocent muslims who are not shia in
[31:09]the world you tell them panjat and park the ahlul bayt ashabal
[31:13]kisa they'll say i'll die for them they hear that you're a
[31:17]sayyid wallah they'll kiss your hands because they you are related to
[31:20]rasulullah the same ones in some cases will say amir muawiya raises
[31:29]his soldiers imam al hassan tells his soldiers as well that get
[31:32]ready and he tells hujar ibn adil kindi rouse them for i
[31:37]want to go towards muawiya go towards them because muawiya had sent
[31:41]his spies they caught his spies who were there trying to make
[31:44]inroads imam al hassan alaihi wasalam was ready but where was the
[31:48]problem there were a couple of problems and he gives a sermon
[31:51]about the problems what were the problems the first of them was
[31:57]technically speaking if imam al hassan became caliph in the fortieth year
[32:00]after hijra and he was for about six to eight months in
[32:04]the previous four years how many battles had taken place before imam
[32:07]al hassan came in three battles jamal saffin and nahrawan those battles
[32:14]had taken a lot out do you know that imam alaihalyalayhi salam
[32:17]after nahrawan wanted to head to shamm to finish mujah after nahrawan
[32:22]imam emir al muminee had told the people let's get ready let's
[32:26]go shamm i'm gonna go and finish him once and for all
[32:28]i ask you when imam ali says i want to go and
[32:31]finish someone that's still a muslim ali ibn al mutalib would just
[32:34]randomly go and finish people unless that person is the same as
[32:38]amrab nawood al amari and the same as marhab people who are
[32:42]the embodiment of jahili yeah otherwise why would imam ali alaihi salam
[32:47]go towards there imam ali his soldiers had now had three wars
[32:52]when imam al hassan alaihi salam came into power he gives this
[32:55]sermon daylami narrates the sermon it's a very interesting sermon what does
[32:59]imam al hassan say imam al hassan says it's not that we're
[33:02]not fighting muawiyah because we're humiliated or because of a lack of
[33:07]numbers what he says that you people oh people of kufa you
[33:12]used to put your religion ahead of your dunya you used to
[33:15]put your deen ahead of your dunya now you put your dunya
[33:19]ahead of your deen you people still think about those you lost
[33:24]at saffin and those you lost at nahrawan those of you who
[33:28]think about those you lost at saffin you're crying you're not going
[33:31]to come to fight those of you who think about those you've
[33:34]lost at naharawan want to take vengeance on me for it look
[33:41]he's exposing the soldiers he says amongst these people are those who
[33:45]are still crying about saffin psychologically they're still messed from what happened
[33:49]a few years ago you know some people have to walk and
[33:51]not recover but those of you from naharawan want to take out
[33:56]your vengeance on me for your lost ones that's his own people
[34:00]he's telling us that my own people are ready to stop me
[34:04]i promise you there is no justice and honor and glory with
[34:07]muhawiyah those of you who want to come with me and seek
[34:11]death then let's go towards death and the will of allah and
[34:16]those of you who want this life then it's a bitter pill
[34:20]for me to swallow what did they all shout this life this
[34:24]life when imam al hassan saw this he realized that how am
[34:30]i gonna fight i'm gonna go towards these people the shamis because
[34:34]you know imam al hassan i would say mecca's on his side
[34:36]medina's on his side yemen's on his side iran's on his side
[34:40]iraq's on his side muawiyah had biladisham and i would say maybe
[34:45]egypt when imam al hasan sees this now he notices that there
[34:49]are people he tells them let's go towards death and towards the
[34:53]will of allah tell me imam al hasan imam al hussain because
[34:56]when if abba abdullah said something like this hey hat min nadilla
[35:01]all of us like there's no one like abba abdullah imam al
[35:04]hassan says those who want to come towards death let's go to
[35:08]the will of allah and those who want life then it's a
[35:12]bitter pill for me to swallow and they shouted we want life
[35:15]we want life imam looked at it he knew therefore that if
[35:19]i now go towards battle not only are some of these more
[35:23]interested in dunya than they are in their deen but they're gonna
[35:26]sell themselves as well you offer them some money like his own
[35:30]cousin abidullah the son of abbas who was bribed by a muawiyah
[35:34]some reports say that he was conned that imam al hassan had
[35:39]decided that he wasn't gonna fight because some people when they heard
[35:41]imam al hassan wasn't gonna fight they turned around and they were
[35:44]wondering why won't you fight imam looked towards them and he said
[35:49]because of what because we're going to ruin ourselves into perdition meaning
[35:56]that we're gonna go and fight an army an army who if
[35:59]muawiyah sayy salat al jumaa is on wednesday they'll pray it on
[36:02]wednesday that's how much loyalty they have whereas mine are ready for
[36:07]any bribe and they'll come and stab me literally they stabbed him
[36:11]literally they stabbed him they called him the mudil the one who
[36:15]has let down the muslims imam al hasan looked at it i
[36:19]remember there was a salafi scholar called jamal ideen al qasimi maybe
[36:24]he died about a hundred years ago he has a tafsir of
[36:29]the holy quran called it's an interesting work when he comes to
[36:35]the verse in the quran surah two verse number 195 yes and
[36:45]do not ruin yourselves or put your hands into perdition as zamakshari
[36:50]describes it in a very interesting way he says it's like you're
[36:53]standing on a cliff and you put your hand out forward when
[36:56]you're standing on the edge of a cliff what's going to happen
[36:58]to you you're going fall aren't you the quran says don't ruin
[37:02]yourselves and make your hands cause you to be in a state
[37:05]of perdition he said in the tafsir of this ayah that this
[37:11]proves that sometimes making a sulah or a treaty with kuffar or
[37:17]with buhat is something which is accepted otherwise at that moment you
[37:24]could end up ruining the lives of everybody if you go in
[37:29]an all out war just for your own ego because sometimes as
[37:32]a leader when i see that the opposition is gonna absolutely destroy
[37:37]me when i see this at that moment i face a situation
[37:41]where i can hold back and safeguard the blood of the muslims
[37:45]at that moment i look at it and the quran has said
[37:48]to me don't ruin yourself at that moment there are muslims who
[37:51]are with you there are others who are gonna end up fighting
[37:54]each other killing each other shedding each other's blood you're gonna be
[37:58]responsible for that blood on the day of judgment the zaydi scholars
[38:01]when they look at imam al hassan what do they say they
[38:04]say imam al hassan could see that women and children would be
[38:07]innocently killed if he decides for his own ego which we know
[38:11]our imam does not have that i'm just gonna fight more awya
[38:14]to prove to all of you that i'm gonna win no on
[38:17]the contrary imam al hassan alaihi salam looks at it what does
[38:21]he see he sees a situation where he can safeguard the future
[38:26]of the muslims and the message of the religion of islam in
[38:30]his own unique way he's still going to remain alive after this
[38:35]by engaging in a solha like his grandfather rasulallah sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi
[38:41]because i'm surprised when people say to me that look at imam
[38:44]al hassan he's weak he does treaty with the opposition with muawiyah
[38:52]and this shows that he accepts muawiyah i ask you the treaty
[38:58]of hudaybiyah when it took place does that show rasoolallah sallallahu alaihi
[39:03]wa'ala was weak unless you've got the audacity to say that rasoolallah
[39:08]is weak and not brave nobody would say that when the treaty
[39:12]of hudaybiyyah took place that treaty of hudaybiyyah rasoolallah sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi
[39:17]could have entered an all out bloodbath with mecca it wasn't the
[39:22]state where he was as powerful as he was a few years
[39:24]later when he came even some of his companions they were ready
[39:28]like some of the companions of imam al hassan because in nahid
[39:31]let's just do jihad but the leader has to decide when is
[39:35]jihad good to be done the leader has to decide when should
[39:39]blood be shed and what are the consequences of blood being shed
[39:44]rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'ale came the companions said let's fight said no
[39:48]there's no fighting we'll enter rasulh when we enter the sulh we
[39:53]will make an agreement with the quraysh the quraysh cannot be exposed
[39:57]by fighting because my image would be a bloodthirsty political maniac who
[40:03]only thinks of his power whereas when i have the chance to
[40:07]fight and i hold back that's true power and so when rasulullah
[40:11]came sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi and signed the treaty of hudaybiyah he made
[40:15]terms in the treaty he said for example if any of the
[40:18]people of mecca converts to islam and comes to medina then the
[40:22]people of medina will return him back to the people of mecca
[40:25]but if any of the muslims leaves islam leaves medina goes to
[40:31]mecca the meccans don't have to return him back to us he
[40:33]can stay where he is further than that there will be no
[40:36]fighting for ten years between the muslims and the people of the
[40:40]quraysh some of the companions looked at him subhanallah the same way
[40:43]people looked at imam al hassan alaihis salam and said to him
[40:47]you have ruined us likewise they said that to his grandfather rasoolallah
[40:51]why because some people all they want is just get the sword
[40:55]out and fight a leader is one who assesses the situation and
[40:59]accepts the reality that sometimes the sword is not the way forward
[41:04]sometimes a person enters into a treaty i ask you when rasoolallah
[41:09]sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi enter this treaty with the quraysh does that mean
[41:12]he accepts the belief of the quraysh did rasoolallah accept that mushriks
[41:20]dance around the kaaba ask you ask that question to yourself rasoolallah
[41:26]sallallahu alaihi you doing a treaty with them means you're accepting them
[41:30]you're accepting their shirk you're accepting their kufr you're accepting the fact
[41:36]that some of them do tawaf naked that some of them are
[41:39]engaging and charging each other interest doing a treaty with someone doesn't
[41:43]mean that you accept them as a muslim or that you accept
[41:47]them even as a good person it's only showing that politically you
[41:51]believe this is the best way forward for the ummah rasoolallah when
[41:56]he done the hudaybiyah treaty does that mean that now he accepts
[41:59]the shirk that was around the kaaba not at all likewise with
[42:03]imam al hasan doing a treaty with muawiyah doesn't mean i accept
[42:05]the belief of muawiyah because there are some who will come to
[42:08]you if you or she have a problem with muawiyah why did
[42:10]imam al hasan do a treaty with him imam al hasan done
[42:12]a treaty with him doesn't mean that he accepts him as a
[42:14]believer in the same way rasulullah did not accept the mushriks as
[42:19]those who should be around the kaaba but he said for the
[42:21]time being this is the best way forward then they say that
[42:26]imam al hasan highlighted what that he abdicated i answered this earlier
[42:32]that imam al hassan is already my imam if imam al hassan
[42:36]is khalifa it doesn't make no difference to imam al hassan because
[42:39]imam al hassan is already chosen by allah therefore imam al hasan
[42:44]taking a step back only means one thing political leadership is not
[42:48]in his hands spiritual leadership is all him you want to get
[42:52]closer to allah it's him you go through him did imam al
[42:56]hassan therefore give baiyatu mooawiya never never a man whose younger brother
[43:04]says a man like me doesn't pledge allegiance to a man like
[43:07]him where would hussein learn this from except his elder brother a
[43:11]man like me does not lead religious to a man like him
[43:14]on the contrary muawiyah had said this sermon he had said hassan
[43:19]has realized that he's not fit for khalafa but he thinks i'm
[43:21]the one who's fit for khalafa therefore i'm your leader imam al
[43:24]hassan said you are a liar straight away and never one of
[43:28]the conditions i will never call you emir al mumineen never i
[43:33]will never never has imam al hassan given bayah to moo awiya
[43:37]those who try and say because there's a treaty that means there's
[43:39]a bayah never i will never call you emir al mumineen i
[43:44]will never put my hand on your hand you're a liar farooqa
[43:48]the son of nawfal the khawarij wanted to fight muawiyah after what
[43:54]had taken place with imam ali alaihi salam farooq ibn nawful was
[43:57]leading them he wanted to go to sham and fight muawiyah wrote
[44:01]to imam al hassan alaihi wasalam the khawarij want to kill me
[44:03]why don't you join me we fight the khawarij he said if
[44:07]i was gonna fight anyone from the people of the qibla it
[44:09]would be you who i'd fight first forget the khawarij look at
[44:12]that number one he calls him a liar if you tell me
[44:16]that i is a shia i'm a taafi i'm a sectarian it's
[44:20]my imam who's leading the taafi it seems my imam says he's
[44:25]a liar my imam says in anything i will make it clear
[44:29]that i would fight you forget the khawarj if i have a
[44:34]chance i want to fight you i get closer to allah by
[44:38]doing jihad against you i'm nearer to allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by
[44:44]doing the jihad against someone like you so when imam says that
[44:48]imam is showing that if i had the soldiers like my brother
[44:52]one day may have then i would definitely go all out but
[44:56]i may not necessarily have the habibs and the muslims of this
[44:59]world maybe i look around and i see that i may have
[45:03]a confused muqtaal al taqafi a hujjar ibn adi who's uncertain few
[45:10]others but i don't have the ones that i need so the
[45:14]best way forward therefore is what is that we enter into a
[45:17]treaty but through this treaty as imam al baqir alaihis salam says
[45:21]there is no hiday on this earth nothing that the sun has
[45:24]given us like the guidance of the treaty of imam al hassan
[45:27]alaihis salam imam al ba'al alaihis salam says this about who about
[45:33]imam al hassan's sol because imam al hassan in reality highlighted there
[45:36]is islam and there's muawiyah because people always say that about us
[45:42]you know there's muslim and there's shia but that's not insulting that's
[45:47]not insulting if you say that about me you say that there
[45:50]are muslims and then there are shia i've seen websites there's certain
[45:54]websites online where someone asked them about the shia and says there's
[45:58]muslims and the shia what do mean there's muslims and the shia
[46:01]i believe in la ilaha illallah and i believe in muhammad rasul
[46:04]i believe in allah and the prophet yes but you don't accept
[46:06]or why accept okay you have your narrative i have my narrative
[46:09]and wow nobody has a monopoly on the truth the last i
[46:13]heard nobody has a monopoly especially not in the uk so what
[46:18]you have here is the terms of the treaty and in the
[46:21]terms of the treaty imam makes it clear what are the terms
[46:24]because someone puts this rumor that imam al hasan was bribed he
[46:29]was given a bribe he took the money and he abdicated how
[46:33]do we reply to this we reply because to the first of
[46:36]the terms of the treaty it says that the kharaj or for
[46:40]example the treasury from where dar abjord that was in persia that
[46:46]they had conquered that area imam al hassan said the sons of
[46:50]those who have died at jamal and saffin should be given from
[46:54]the fate of that area look how of course imam al hassan
[46:58]is on these areas he knows that fate can be distributed to
[47:02]whoever the leader wants to unlike other areas of islamic law which
[47:06]has to be distributed for example in the masadaqat al fukara when
[47:09]messiah akin no with faith many of you have read the ayah
[47:14]especially in relation to fadaq rasulullah gave fadaq to father zara because
[47:19]faith is that way you haven't fought for it and it comes
[47:22]to you the land of dar ejjord the money that came from
[47:26]it imam al hassan said because the term was that you give
[47:29]us that money not that imam al hassan takes the money so
[47:32]that okay now that you paid me i give you the leadership
[47:34]give it to the sons of those who died a jammal and
[47:37]saffin is like a deer the blood money for those who have
[47:40]died condition number one of course nothing came to them condition number
[47:44]two is that you don't change the sunnah of my grandfather rasoolallah
[47:48]sallallaho alaihi wa'alehi i don't know where to begin with that interest
[47:51]becomes normal alcohol becomes normal even the one your father slept with
[47:57]became normal that's number two then number three what do you have
[48:00]you have for example the area that you stopped the cursing of
[48:06]my father which needs its own matjulis even the sahih ain sho
[48:11]that muhawiyah instituted this cursing you keep telling me yushia cursed the
[48:15]sahaba who were the king of that is muhawiyah in his cursing
[48:19]of the pulpits him and ziyad the son of his unknown then
[48:23]you have number four what do you have you come to the
[48:27]area of you do not oppress the righteous believers the shia you
[48:31]do not oppress them and did he oppress them or no muawi
[48:35]one by one shia at emir al mumineen tell me what happened
[48:39]of rosha al hajari and what happened of amr bin hamak al
[48:43]khuzai and what happened of hajar bin adeel kindi what happened to
[48:47]for example the brother in laws of abel fadl al abbas and
[48:50]the people who samur ibn jandub and people like busar bin arthat
[48:53]and others who destroyed and massacred shia after shia each of the
[48:59]terms of the treaty one by one and that's why imam al
[49:02]hussain made it clear imam al hussain you know when imam al
[49:06]hassan died imam al hussain lived for ten years until karbala happened
[49:11]imam al hussain would say i wish that i could do jihad
[49:14]against you but the only thing is holding me is that my
[49:18]brother has an agreement with you otherwise it gains me closeness to
[49:22]allah that i do jihad and i ask allah's forgiveness for not
[49:27]doing it against you at the moment for you are what listen
[49:31]to his lines you are from hezbollah and auliya is shayateen how
[49:37]can we be more clear now again if someone is offended by
[49:40]this this is shi'a narrative you can have your narrative where radha
[49:44]allah fights radha allah and that's completely up to you it's no
[49:47]problem it's your logic and it's fine but in our narrative our
[49:50]narrative is hezbollah alameen he says it imam al hussain says it
[49:59]that muawiyah is from hezbollah alameen if it's my choice i will
[50:04]go out but the terms of the treaty are still there and
[50:08]there's one more term which still hasn't happened therefore i cannot fight
[50:13]or i cannot stand up or i cannot refuse the pledge of
[50:17]moving on and standing up against you until the fifth of the
[50:22]terms which imam al hassan set out was what after you die
[50:26]muawiyah then the leadership goes to who goes to imam al hassan
[50:31]if he's alive if not goes to imam al hussain alaihi salaam
[50:38]and you find that as soon as muawiyah was on his last
[50:41]moments muawiyah had made it clear that listen my son yazid you
[50:46]got four people you got to think about they're gonna cause you
[50:48]a headache abdullah the son of ammar ibn khattab abdur rahman the
[50:53]son of abu bakr abdullah ibn zubair hussain son of ali ironically
[50:59]sons of four companions and yet we reach a stage fifty years
[51:04]after rasulullah died that sons of four companions don't get near the
[51:09]son of hind and the son of abu sufyan look where islam
[51:13]went and the return of that jahiliyah came back and that's really
[51:18]the difference between islam and the umayyads the umayyads was the return
[51:22]of the jahal the return of the drunkards the return of every
[51:26]form of oppression and the return of the philosophy that anyone who
[51:31]gets in our way is to be fought and killed be they
[51:34]male be they female be they young be they old there was
[51:40]no limit it doesn't matter if it's a female then you get
[51:44]rid of her and if it's a male you decapitate his body
[51:48]the way you decapitated the body of his great uncle hamza how
[51:53]could anyone be surprised about what happened to the heads of karbala
[51:58]when you saw what the very grandmother of yazid done to their
[52:03]own great uncle on the plains of uhud and that's why you
[52:07]found that the umayyads had no problem parading those heads why because
[52:12]they wanted to make clear anyone who messes with us let them
[52:15]realize that their heads would be paraded on spears and that's why
[52:20]for many of the granddaughters of rasulallah it was extremely difficult for
[52:26]them to see those heads on spears some of them of course
[52:31]would know about whose heads these are others of them were young
[52:35]children and therefore they would not realize the heads belonging to whom
[52:40]and that's why you found that for many like hum kulthum before
[52:43]she entered shyam she would say to shimr please our heads don't
[52:47]parade them in front of us but that shimr would reject that
[52:50]request nights like this they were in the ruins of sham how
[52:56]we all wish that we were there so that we would be
[53:02]able to commemorate what happened to the members of al muhammad of
[53:06]course some of these ladies were already stunned some of them had
[53:10]no emotion left imagine you lost your six month old baby what
[53:14]emotion do you have left imagine those of you who've lost for
[53:18]example your brothers what emotion do you have left yes and that's
[53:23]why on nights like this it was difficult and zainab became an
[53:27]umbrella for the rest of al muhammed that she was the one
[53:31]who was shielding all of them one by one she was the
[53:34]one who'd stay up late nights knowing that some of these children
[53:38]all of a sudden may have a nightmare those of you who
[53:40]have daughters how difficult is it when your daughter wakes up in
[53:44]the middle of the night and you fear what's happened and then
[53:47]you realize she says daddy i just saw a bad dream how
[53:50]does that break your heart and i want you to ask yourself
[53:53]sincerely those of you who have daughters when you have that feeling
[53:57]or you wonder that when your child is coming home from school
[54:00]i want to make sure that she comes home her eye is
[54:02]not bruised she doesn't have any marks of bruising on her body
[54:07]there is nothing that's affected her at all imagine then the daughters
[54:13]of hossein on the plains of sham when on nights like this
[54:19]one by one they'd be sitting next to each other trying to
[54:22]sleep one of them looking around the moment they'd hear there's some
[54:26]water for you oh children one of them would call out has
[54:30]my uncle abbas returned allahu akbar because for some the last time
[54:35]they saw abel fad he had gone to get them water and
[54:38]abel fad never goes against his promise so they were wondering is
[54:41]my uncle back others when they'd be given water do you know
[54:44]what they would say this water how could you give it to
[54:47]me my six month old brother hasn't drunk any allahu akbar look
[54:51]at the altruism that was there much of them one daughter for
[54:55]days would be asking where's my father auntie zaynab and the reply
[54:59]would be your father is on a journey but auntie my father
[55:03]whenever he'd pray he'd put me next to him only fathers know
[55:06]this relationship with their daughters yes auntie my father when he'd pray
[55:11]he'd always have me next to him and you'd see zaynab say
[55:15]don't worry you can be next to me you can sleep next
[55:18]to me auntie my father when he left he said he would
[55:22]return where is he until that night they heard a cry allahu
[55:30]akbar that cry when they heard the cry zaynab woke up and
[55:36]so did the whole of sham at that moment when zaydah zaynab
[55:40]woke up the narrations mention that she looked around who was it
[55:45]it was the three year old daughter of zayed ashoyed she had
[55:49]woke remember that moment zayed zaynab said to her my dear what
[55:53]is it she said auntie i wanted to see my father i
[55:58]beg you zaydur zaynab knew for all this time she had said
[56:02]to her your father's on a journey but this time the young
[56:05]girl said but i saw him in my dream he said to
[56:09]me come back to me come towards me and that moment zaydah
[56:13]zaynab tried to comfort the young girl but she was crying and
[56:17]crying but her scream had awoken yazid yazid woke up when yazid
[56:23]woke up yazid asked what is it what's wrong what's that scream
[56:28]they said to him apparently one of the daughters of hussein he
[56:31]said at that moment what does she want they said to him
[56:35]she wants to see her father he said very well then what
[56:39]are you waiting for take the head of her father let her
[56:42]see him she was sitting there she was next to her auntie
[56:46]zaynab suddenly the door opened when the door opened she saw carrying
[56:52]a bowl that was covered how many bowls has zaynab seen zaynab
[56:58]has seen many bowls but this time the young girl called out
[57:02]auntie why are they giving me food i'm not hungry when she
[57:07]lifted the bowl she saw the holy head of abba abdullah in
[57:13]front of her the moment she heard she saw the head called
[57:19]out abba tawah hussaina she fell on the head of imam al
[57:27]hussaina when she fell on the head she had some words she
[57:32]wanted to say to her father these are the words any daughter
[57:35]would say but especially a daughter who misses her father father who
[57:42]severed your head from your neck who drenched your beard with all
[57:49]that blood father father who's there for the orphans after you all
[57:55]of a sudden a pause a silence what was that silence may
[58:00]allah never show you that silence with your own daughter because you
[58:04]want to hear her say a voice something you want to hear
[58:06]her say some words but there were no words all that could
[58:09]be heard was zayn al abideen calling out that moment she passed
[58:17]away they had all come together one by one they came to
[58:22]try and hold sayyidah zaynab abbas had died she controlled herself hussein
[58:29]had died she controlled herself even anan muhammad but ruqaiyah ruqaiyah broke
[58:35]the heart of zaynab if you think it broke her heart rabbah
[58:41]had already lost one now rabab saw another child without any sound
[58:47]from them in that moment imam zain al abideen what did he
[58:52]do he came towards the nurse who was there he said to
[58:55]her oh nurse if you can i'd like you to take this
[58:59]child away please go and do the gusul of this child every
[59:02]daughter deserves that when she dies there's someone to wash her body
[59:07]and that moment the lady when she went to wash the body
[59:11]they were all expecting her to come back a while later she
[59:14]didn't she came back shortly afterwards when she came back the imam
[59:20]said to her have you returned she looked at sayyid zainab she
[59:26]said to her was she ill the young girl when she died
[59:30]sayyid said no she wasn't why do you say that listen to
[59:34]the reply then why why are there so many blue marks on
[59:41]the body of this young girl tell me zaynab when she heard
[59:47]this she fell on the ground the imam looked towards her and
[59:53]said those aren't the marks of an illness those are the marks
[59:58]of the whips of shimmer bindeljoshan i leave you with this line
[60:02]when they return to karbala on the arba'een naturally sayyidah zaynab and
[60:08]the rest all went to the grave of imam al hussain but
[60:12]when she came towards the grave she wanted to open her heart
[60:16]to imam al hussain what would she tell him about the way
[60:19]they punched her the way they kicked her the way they attacked
[60:24]her no she was higher than that abba abdullah you left a
[60:30]group of amanat with me you left a group of trusts with
