[1:13]definitely knows that there will come a time of arduous turmoil for
[1:20]the lovers of ahlulbait of course he is among the biggest victims
[1:24]of turmoil of a tumultuous time period that sieged and leveled many
[1:35]accusations allegations on his good name and his sake we are no
[1:40]exceptions we will see as lovers of the ahmed we are within
[1:45]a time period foreshadowed and told by the holy prophet of islam
[1:49]in the 21st century today and beyond that there will be an
[1:54]era he acknowledges it's going to happen that the one who holds
[2:09]on to their deen it's like holding on to a hot coal
[2:12]and i have to tell if i think of that tradition which
[2:15]is narrated this one i honestly can't see that be possible that
[2:21]there will be a time period the difficulty of holding on to
[2:28]jammer cold red hot literally hurting yourself what kind of willpower do
[2:33]you need to have to maintain such consistency such apide and of
[2:37]course we see that today people it's very common trait to see
[2:42]brothers and sisters relinquish their islamic identity unfortunately be it through their
[2:46]mannerism be it through their through their even attire the hijab becomes
[2:51]one day it was a wonderful symbol but people now see it
[2:57]as a symbol of what of extremism that if you just bare
[3:00]bone minimum basics adopt the tenets of islam you are classified and
[3:06]labeled as an extreme muslim by the way it's haram to be
[3:11]an extreme muslim but you know what you should be don't be
[3:14]extreme muslim be extremely muslim don't be an extreme muslim be extremely
[3:22]muslim because i don't care whether people assume that by what fasting
[3:30]extra days yeah and it's fasting allah said it's wajib in a
[3:33]month throughout these 12 months and if you can men if you
[3:39]can then do so if you can't or you can simply pay
[3:46]that video if you have that genuine excuse i decide let's say
[3:50]for example one day i run into a group of either brothers
[3:53]or sisters and decide to fast a non-obligatory day nor are we
[4:00]making a baklava fast you will suddenly just wait for it watch
[4:03]it you will be labeled as extreme why are you fasting extra
[4:07]days yeah i mean when even the non-muslim world acknowledges that there
[4:10]are health benefits barring those by the way borrowing those i'm doing
[4:14]it for the sake of allah borrowing the intermittent fasting the health
[4:18]benefits all of that you are going to be called an extreme
[4:20]muslim it's going to happen forget fasting praying is there something more
[4:24]iconic than praying in islam but what if i decided to do
[4:29]more than my bare bone minimum basics of five times every single
[4:32]day i decided to do one more oh hold on i want
[4:36]to pray in sha'a ta'ala let me add baraka in my gathering
[4:40]before i make such a big decision ahadith make mention by the
[4:42]way that if you want it if you have a desire you
[4:47]want to accomplish then have done and even in certain cases we
[4:53]see two given for the sake of someone who is close to
[4:57]allah so for example if you find something distressful in your life
[5:02]one of the best things highly encouraged and recommended is to recite
[5:05]a fatiha but for someone's sake a fatherhood for example we can
[5:12]recite these for example the lesser mentioned and renowned figures of the
[5:17]members of the ahu bait that don't get enough attention when you
[5:20]revive their name in that manner allah will bless you but just
[5:23]watch out and prepare you're going to be leveled with allegations if
[5:29]the bait themselves found them found themselves in that position who are
[5:33]we not to also expect that or at least not to expect
[5:37]that to happen with us that is why they have laid the
[5:39]foundation for us by giving us advice for the 21st century if
[5:45]i were to ask you right now what is your favorite just
[5:47]say it right now your favorite imam meaning let's go some of
[5:53]the quotes are not even real quotes yeah they tell me the
[5:57]most a lot of that honestly i saw that it said ali
[5:58]at the end of it but i never a question to investigate
[6:01]now i don't want to ruin or break anyone's heart right now
[6:04]by mentioning some of the famous quotes here and there assume they're
[6:07]from what we mean by all means go ahead but it's worth
[6:11]some effort to investigate some may cite for example that let us
[6:15]look into um [Music] and that you presume yourself a small entity
[6:23]while involved in you is the entire universe although this can be
[6:27]traced in the d1 of amir al-mu'min a collection of poetry that
[6:33]has references leading back at least you can give it that in
[6:37]regards to citation but we can mention multiple quotes i've seen many
[6:41]non-muslims highly quote the words of imam and hasan and imam hussain
[6:50]imam you find them let's not go further than the likes such
[6:53]as christians from lebanon who have that exposure commonly george jordan for
[6:57]example you might even look at jibran khalid in addition many have
[7:04]written works even with the name of amir mohammadin ali of the
[7:08]voice of human justice these are all material contributed from the non-muslim
[7:14]world with regards to their reverence for the bait but now let's
[7:17]go back to ourselves not non-muslims into inshallah you are muslim can
[7:22]you give me three quotes from imam al-hasan this doesn't mean he
[7:27]doesn't have quotes if you don't mention them well if imam hasan
[7:30]had quotes i would know them by now i am not going
[7:33]to say this right now i am not in animosity with imam
[7:37]and hassan if i can't give you a couple replies on what
[7:39]his quotes are and i agree you are not an enmity if
[7:43]you don't know a few quotes here and there but you do
[7:45]have some shortcomings at the end of the day why because the
[7:49]torath the archive and legacy of wisdom that imam and much about
[7:57]left behind can fill the entire ocean a plethora of wonderful lessons
[8:01]that truly perplex an individual when we read them i alone have
[8:08]investigated over 100 duas and this me and my humble effort in
[8:11]looking and investigating a hundred dollars from imam hassan tonight we will
[8:15]mention one of them towards the end insha'allah but let's look at
[8:19]a few quotes by the way these quotes from imam al-hassan are
[8:23]absolutely universal you don't need to be a muslim to necessarily adhere
[8:27]to them but you do need to be a muslim to necessarily
[8:31]understand them as mentioned last night during the time post martyrdom as
[8:41]he was the rightful leader to the muslim ummah began the process
[8:48]of teaching society in masjid and nebui the hub of knowledge we
[8:52]called it donald hickman the hub of wisdom he would sit in
[8:59]that atmosphere he would be present in front of many people and
[9:03]he would give them lessons among these that ring true and transcend
[9:07]time as the following this one has a psychological underlining to it
[9:15]because he talks about the individual that feeds themselves negativity constantly negative
[9:21]thoughts negative elements that tarnish and corrupt their spirituality and he compares
[9:26]it to eating food and that by the way give me any
[9:32]well-being life coach they'll tell you the exact same thing don't feed
[9:36]yourself corrupt food unless you want to corrupt yourself likewise don't feed
[9:40]your mind and bring corruptness is the following he says [Music] what
[9:48]happens here i am astonished at the individual that constantly thinks about
[10:02]their food what they're about and then what happens he stays away
[10:16]from that which harms his stomach and he allows his chest to
[10:24]be exposed to all types of consumptions and the chest here is
[10:27]in reference to their spirituality as allah mentions it in the holy
[10:30]quran constantly many times with regards to us and the negative evil
[10:44]inclinations shaytan doesn't immediately have a go to your heart because that
[10:47]would be unjust and unfair in that case i am doomed if
[10:49]immediately it enters my heart but what happens it goes to the
[10:55]outside the chest and now the rest was there it's up to
[10:56]you to allow it or not to enter the heart it's totally
[11:00]up to you imam in mushtabah says in this situation there are
[11:03]people they always think about what they're going to eat but they
[11:07]never think about what their apple is going to eat [Applause] a
[11:27]centrifuge for whatever can be consumed with it and the chest we
[11:31]mentioned earlier is the spiritual window to your spirituality and heart it's
[11:36]the window it's not the entrance it's not the house it's the
[11:40]window open it and let it go inside whether it's haram music
[11:45]whether it's bad words or whether it's gossip and all of these
[11:50]other tohan and etcetera and exaggerations it can go to the ear
[11:53]as imam said judd makes mention that you acknowledge that it is
[12:00]the pathway to the heart you can bring it inside the heart
[12:05]it's the window open it and let it go through you have
[12:07]to consider that there are elements in life don't think and stress
[12:10]about them too much as much attention you are giving on your
[12:15]food intermittent fasting making sure there's not a speck off so on
[12:18]and so forth the same has to go with your mentality otherwise
[12:23]you can corrupt yourself many will say listen i need to expose
[12:26]myself to these threats and concerns because i need to learn about
[12:30]them there's a wise way to do that there are evil and
[12:34]negative elements in life brothers and sisters and you need to be
[12:37]aware of them but don't become consumed by them that's the issue
[12:43]that's the point because mentally you're going to corrupt yourself negativity negative
[12:48]thoughts and this is called rumination by the way in the fields
[12:52]of neurology and uh psychology rumination constantly subhanallah i mean this is
[13:00]mind-boggling honestly this hits the nail on the head both theologically and
[13:04]neurologically because when you constantly rumination is what constantly think of a
[13:12]negative thought your brain chemistry physically changes your brain actually physically begins
[13:19]to change when you constantly recirculate negative thoughts and so the amount
[13:23]of times you think about that will begin affecting you you will
[13:26]be more prone to negativity than positivity you will lead a life
[13:31]of stress and unfortunately even depression and that can even take even
[13:37]different routes that might lead a person to commit atrocities to themselves
[13:42]or others around them don't feed your mind negative thoughts too much
[13:47]how is he not thinking about what he's feeding his spot and
[13:53]the same way he prevents bad food from entering his stomach because
[13:57]it causes whatever it doesn't kill him it just causes edda it
[14:02]bothers me i'm not going to something that simply bothers you you
[14:06]stay away from it but you allow your chest to be an
[14:11]extreme bullseye for all of these negative thoughts and do you know
[14:15]what that does to a person's chest as the chest in islam
[14:17]is such a spiritual element by the way it's the window to
[14:21]the heart we set it has the heart inside and subhanallah the
[14:25]chest becomes constrained physically and spiritually who are you better than the
[14:31]holy prophet of islam to not have your chest constrained by negativity
[14:34]many people say i don't care what others think about me let
[14:38]them say these things let them gossip who cares you're lost i
[14:43]agree with that mindset to a point but a muslim at the
[14:46]end of the day cares about their reputation if there are so
[14:48]many allegations leveled against you maybe investigate what's going on yes take
[14:54]example from the holy prophet of islam when he had multiple allegations
[14:58]imam al-hassen we will have a night by the way dedicated on
[15:03]the misconceptions of imam hassan oh man you're going to see this
[15:06]imam is absolutely oppressed empires work to bring down a person if
[15:10]one person can ruin an individual's reputation just one man or one
[15:16]woman what do you think can be the impact of an empire
[15:18]on imam and much but that night will come but when they
[15:22]receive all of these claims and allegations against them they do get
[15:27]stressed with yahoo debate at the end of the day they're insane
[15:30]they're not robots they are infallible from error and sin but they
[15:34]are emotional and some people will say that might be bringing down
[15:39]the don't talk about them like that masha allah you really want
[15:43]to safeguard the bait how about us the next time someone says
[15:55]that the prophet of islam has no concern to when people called
[16:00]him all of these allegations leveled against him understand that the prophet
[16:08]of islam is a man of dignity and if he can he
[16:12]will make sure that i need to clear the room why are
[16:16]you guys having that but if you've exhausted all your efforts and
[16:19]people still claim these negative claims against you then you have to
[16:24]rest assured because greater people before you had this happen to them
[16:27]only in that situation but you have to do something about it
[16:30]because allah says and i know that your chest becomes constrained with
[16:39]what they say about you what is a constrained chest have you
[16:43]seen sometimes when you get nervous i remember i think quite a
[16:49]personal example when i first started giving lectures about 16 years old
[16:55]man i couldn't breathe i could not breathe it felt like there
[16:58]was this weight sitting on my chest to get it off and
[17:02]the moment i felt that that weight was off is when i
[17:04]would say the salawat and get down if i could even pronounce
[17:08]this because of how nervous i was subhanallah but it feels like
[17:11]there's this heavy like weight on me and i couldn't breathe and
[17:17]that feeling can be manifested many times in your life by the
[17:19]way when you are the center of accusations when suddenly you hear
[17:22]what did she say what did he say what's going on online
[17:27]on social media is are people really claiming this about me no
[17:29]that's not true i just went to go ask a question from
[17:34]that very promiscuous individual for example there's nothing going on between me
[17:37]and them suddenly you're the talk of the town or i have
[17:40]a brother some of you might know him i'm not gonna say
[17:42]his name he works he used to work at an appliance store
[17:47]and that selled like kitchenware and so he was told by his
[17:53]boss to go to a a business that's not the most halal
[17:59]businesses but he was a client to their business and provide some
[18:02]of these silverware to them it's a client because i didn't even
[18:04]know what the business was he's like i get there it's a
[18:08]bar and i'm like oh dang what do i do he says
[18:09]money was tight and i have to deliver these he's like you
[18:13]know what let me go he goes inside that restaurant he provides
[18:19]the equipment he leaves you know some iblis was out there he
[18:23]took a picture of him this guy goes inside this store what
[18:28]is he doing drinking alcohol he's like you don't understand in high
[18:31]school people would not bring this down like you must go to
[18:35]drink because i was doing a job but you guys couldn't help
[18:39]have your husband of land what happened to consider for your believer
[18:43]your believing brother or sister 70 excuses before you begin leveling accusations
[18:46]against them it's like well i didn't go i have a photo
[18:50]of you he's like which jimmy took a picture the moment i
[18:53]went inside and said take it when i leave i go inside
[18:54]he's like that really harmed my name but what about when people
[19:00]lie deliberately that really harms you the chest becomes constrained earlier you
[19:05]guys heard that what happens and beyond they go through this by
[19:09]the way and beyond the messengers of god they go through this
[19:13]who are you not to go through this it'll happen when it
[19:17]does there's a methodology why habibi islam is universal until the day
[19:23]of judgment everything applies today maybe the methodologies might have been convenient
[19:33]for 7th century arabian peninsula but the principle remains the same the
[19:39]means was relevant to that time the ends is the exact same
[19:44]principle until today brothers and sisters nebimusa this prophet and his beloved
[19:51]brother he needed a sidekick he would say allah help me in
[19:55]this situation and then what happened allah gifted him it was a
[20:02]gift that nebihar became the prophet alongside him in january and we
[20:15]have called him from the right side of mount of the mount
[20:20]that we called him for the mission and we have given to
[20:22]him it's a gift i give it to you out of my
[20:26]allah allah loves you i'm going to give harun as your aid
[20:33]and he's a prophet alongside you i need help it's not easy
[20:36]when you're going after a man who literally says that's not easy
[20:41]then what did this individual started to say accusations against musa leveled
[20:48]so many accusations musa he hated it according to some descriptions and
[20:53]traditions his oratory could have been a little better it's like ya
[20:58]allah make me gift it like my brother is gifted with speech
[21:01]because it's difficult when you don't know what to say back when
[21:06]you can't find the words and you have to scramble them so
[21:08]what dua does he make his chest is constrained what does he
[21:10]say yes you want to get rid of accusations look at what
[21:24]imam hasan says avoid negative thoughts from being in that place to
[21:28]begin with it will happen when it happens do this so what
[21:37]do i do to fix that what's the remedy next ayah behind
[21:55]people they always bring a person down when they go up if
[21:59]you're already down who's going to bring you down even more and
[22:02]who has the heart to bring you up when you're down but
[22:05]the whole world wants to bring you down when you're up in
[22:09]that situation maybe that means i'm on the right path i mean
[22:13]it was none other than amira momenty who said that the biggest
[22:18]loser is the person who only has friends no enemies why is
[22:20]that the case i thought that's a goal that's a win that
[22:25]means you literally stood for nothing because you can't satisfy everyone so
[22:31]you have to fall what for what meets their criteria so if
[22:35]you fall if you stand for nothing you fall for everything and
[22:39]if you fall for everything there's nothing you stand for because everyone
[22:43]has different beliefs you want to satisfy that guy who has his
[22:45]own methodology and mindset and doctrine and but then that guy you
[22:50]could be a middle balance where you want to avoid trouble but
[22:55]if you have only friends and you have no enemies clearly people
[22:59]hate the truth and the haqq how come like you ah in
[23:05]that situation there's something that you have to recheck in your situation
[23:08]in circumstances so what you got to do when people level accusations
[23:12]and your chest is constrained from how much you should be grateful
[23:20]yeah people are talking smack behind me that must mean i'm doing
[23:25]something good they're jealous they're envious you as a believer you shouldn't
[23:28]be talking smack about others you should be having positive envy for
[23:34]example like that's really good that they achieved and went far in
[23:39]life and did really well bless them so morya allah and bless
[23:43]me with what they have you can have that but don't say
[23:46]allah what the heck how are they successful and not me put
[23:48]that away that attitude goes away if you are the victim of
[23:54]such attitudes from how much you should be grateful due to spirit
[23:56]in that process and not just that it's still not easy i
[24:02]mean people leveling the world of allegations against you against the imam
[24:08]and you know what they do to resolve that you don't know
[24:13]the remedy and many of us do actually when people talk ill
[24:18]against you do it at night least distractions this is also my
[24:22]personal experience as well go down in sujud and in that search
[24:26]would combine it say alhamdulillah i swear it releases that constrained chest
[24:40]when these accusations are leveled against you and don't be that person
[24:42]that says oh who cares what i mean who cares either something
[24:47]is wrong and you have to care about your reputation and your
[24:50]good name because this will affect you a muslim has to care
[24:52]about their good name and good sake if you've exhausted all your
[24:57]efforts then say who cares i did what i could who cares
[24:59]if they're still like that alhamdulillah that must mean they see something
[25:01]in me they want and that they don't have so imam in
[25:06]which the boss says this avoid the negativity what will it do
[25:09]with your chest don't make the chest a big bullseye for negative
[25:12]thoughts the same way you don't make your stomach a bull's-eye for
[25:17]corrupt and toxic food then the imam takes us to another direction
[25:22]allah allah with this direction he says and this is where brothers
[25:25]and sisters imam haslam in mr nibbly sitting down like this and
[25:30]he's literally giving you like the most beautiful transcendental answers and you're
[25:37]like 7th century arabian can can produce this no ah he says
[25:46]tragedies are the keys of agile of goodness of the wob of
[25:54]deeds of tawfiq of blessings tragedies are the keys of blessings they
[25:58]are not blessings but they are the keys why you can take
[26:02]a tragedy and you could use it as a catapult to give
[26:09]you the most agile possible household however much your iman increases and
[26:27]trial has to also increase because you're passing the tests yeah and
[26:31]you're doing really well this tragedy comes and you still have iman
[26:34]your iman is big so we have to increase the tragedy on
[26:38]you and literally that's all it is a teacher if objectively speaking
[26:42]and objective truths are not easy to find philosophically speaking i would
[26:47]just say it here to philosophy philosophically speaking objective truths are not
[26:52]easy to accomplish why because how can you say for certain that
[26:55]is a bad or evil or ethically moral good or wrong thing
[27:00]you can't but objectively speaking many can agree that a bad teacher
[27:04]is one who keeps giving you easy questions and challenges when you
[27:10]keep passing them and you're intelligent no up the test a little
[27:14]bit up the test one day when nebi musa salaam came down
[27:17]from mount sinai he saw and witnessed what happened benny is breaking
[27:22]their backs bowing down to an edge the mud created like a
[27:28]calf and they just got some gold and put it on and
[27:32]he started worshiping allah so some say their feet haven't dried out
[27:36]from walking across the red sea the majestic split and they're now
[27:40]bowing down so he's frustrated what's going on here they bring it
[27:45]to navi musa's attention that no it's not that they just built
[27:48]a calf and they said worship it and they dropped down and
[27:51]did it and left allah something happened like what happened the man
[27:55]that built the calf he built it he put gold then he
[28:00]said hey worship it they said where do you take us to
[28:01]be we just went through the biggest miracles we've ever seen in
[28:05]our life and musa's on mount sinai he's going to come back
[28:07]down and you think we're just going to worship that you're silly
[28:09]suddenly he built it in a way where there were holes the
[28:13]wind came through it made a noise have you ever blown into
[28:17]like a um a flute or like uh have you seen like
[28:22]empty milk cartons empty barrels they make a lot of noise and
[28:26]so he built it in a way where if wind was to
[28:29]go inside it would make a lot of noise so the wind
[28:30]came through and it kind of made like a like a sound
[28:34]a cow would make like a large moon noise like that and
[28:37]so they're like oh wait it's making a noise now maybe it's
[28:39]allah bow down in this situation came to musa and he explained
[28:44]this to him navi musa looked up to the heavens as he
[28:47]is he communicates to allah he says the calf made of mud
[28:55]he the summer he built it the wind is in your hands
[28:59]you sent the wind he sent the wind no the wind was
[29:04]in your hands so it was through natural causes they worshipped other
[29:10]than allah so you technically it was in your control there was
[29:13]nothing else assamer could have done and they rejected it he says
[29:16][Applause] the quran was revealed what happened he says to him the
[29:24]response came back from the heavens that they passed the first test
[29:27]if they were told worship it will they worship no they passed
[29:31]so we had to up the test for them what about if
[29:34]it starts making some noise ah will you worship it most of
[29:37]them failed not all of them since they felt that one that
[29:41]challenge is where they had their iman met had they even passed
[29:47]that test let's say if it made noise theoretically speaking and none
[29:50]of them bowed down to it maybe allah would have made it
[29:55]walk just to get the test more difficult and so in the
[29:59]quran this is not but your trial ya allah allah can do
[30:06]this brothers and sisters you have to up the test you do
[30:09]that's why imam al-mustapha says that these trials they are the keys
[30:19]to what you want see am i going through a lot of
[30:22]obstacles in life don't think that's allah hating you well it's not
[30:28]allah hating you allah doesn't hate what allah hates allah if he
[30:31]he has how many names in joshua thousand you know which are
[30:36]the only ones he decides for you to use you and i
[30:40]when you when you read his words and maybe that trial is
[30:45]an indication of how close you are to allah i see so
[30:48]many problems going on in my life my children sick i am
[30:53]not doing well work isn't good people don't like me is that
[30:59]allah saying i hate you it's probably you getting so close to
[31:03]allah that the trial needs to increase will you relinquish your iman
[31:07]because your iman increases now we have to increase this is a
[31:14]key when you acknowledge that it's probably close to allah your proximity
[31:18]to you have now used that key and you got open a
[31:23]floodgate of ajar as according to the words of imam that is
[31:28]advice for you and i in the 21st century subhanallah then he
[31:31]gives us a profound absolutely remarkable i have no words to describe
[31:38]this following statement i hope we can all memorize it and it's
[31:44]by the way many of us have memorized it we have but
[31:47]in english and we never knew that it was you don't know
[31:51]what you have until it's days of ignorance when you are ignorant
[32:08]of the blessing allah has provided you is unknown when it's present
[32:18]in front of you and when it goes then it's known you
[32:25]know when um i don't know if i'm going to keep using
[32:27]personal examples you're gonna think this guy's weird you know when one
[32:32]of your nostrils clogs when you're cold you know you're like i
[32:35]would give anything for it to come back it is the most
[32:38]discomfortable uncomfortable feeling ever yeah i took it for granted being able
[32:43]to use two nostrils to breathe it's like i can't sleep now
[32:48]oh my god i never knew right now you're breathing and you're
[32:50]like i think nothing of it it is normal someone just took
[32:53]a big sniff over there but now imagine if if one clogs
[32:58]one claw no you know what's worse when both of them clock
[33:02]you're like dang i really took this for granted and when it's
[33:14]gone you begin to recognize it so somewhere like dang i have
[33:19]now first-hand experience it's gone it's been months it's gone you know
[33:22]when the pandemic hit many people were like i had no idea
[33:27]the blessing of taste buds many people haven't lost their taste before
[33:30]and now it's like they take advantage of how much hot sauce
[33:32]they can put they're now eating foods that they would normally not
[33:35]eat let me take advantage of this situation now how about when
[33:39]it returns take advantage of it because it's here to stay faith
[33:45]how many times do we repeat this in our brains by the
[33:50]way but not necessarily reference it and not in its own manner
[33:53]that it was presented in the way imam and mushroom eloquently gave
[33:56]it to us you don't know what you have until it's gone
[33:59]basically is the essence if you boil it down subhanallah then we
[34:05]observe another beautiful glorious statement that really falls as one of the
[34:11]best advice for the 21st century from karim and i say alhamdulillah
[34:16]we have an imam like gave us this literally knowing that there
[34:22]will be a day my own here in sha allah here all
[34:25]of us will go through these trials in life let me give
[34:30]you these tools subhanallah that the most deep a generous a person
[34:42]can be with regards to someone who has sinned is what is
[34:53]the one who has sinned doesn't have any more excuses anymore doesn't
[34:58]have anything to say to defend themselves you want to see pure
[35:01]generosity it's when you can forgive someone who has no excuse that
[35:16]the one who has sinned they really don't have any more excuses
[35:19]although they don't have an urdur they don't have any although they
[35:24]don't have any excuse anymore you want to know what true of
[35:31]is if you can forgive someone who has no excuse some people
[35:35]they give you the greatest excuses but they're not going to be
[35:38]forgiven honestly so there are people it was a very sensitive and
[35:45]delicate meeting that we have to have you're late the person will
[35:48]tell you look my children at home they needed my attention i
[35:51]couldn't make it the person spearheading the meeting will still want to
[35:54]accept that i know some professors my god they're so annoying we're
[35:58]all thinking of a couple in our heads right now yeah and
[36:00]you tell them look a tragedy happened at home nope you're late
[36:03]mark it down so we accept i will have a life you
[36:07]have a life nope yeah i'm giving them good excuses and they
[36:10]won't even consider that the most generous individual as he is is
[36:18]what that you're even willing to forgive someone who actually has no
[36:22]excuse i really don't know what to say like i caught you
[36:28]red-handed like let's say you use like little uh child who was
[36:30]not supposed to go to the cookie jar and you literally just
[36:33]catch he's eating the cookies right in front of you there's nothing
[36:36]he can say he's like i'm sorry that's really nothing going to
[36:39]say if you're willing to forgive that child so this is a
[36:45]micro example then that can show you that maybe there's a room
[36:48]in the heart or it can be like the heart of imam
[36:52]al-hassen because if you're willing to do that how about on a
[36:54]grand scale because brothers and sisters people make mistakes it's okay do
[36:58]we ostracize them do we marginalize them do we excommunicate them do
[37:04]we give kofo upon them why people repent the door of repentance
[37:09]is open let it go it's okay there are unforgivable by the
[37:12]way sins there are there are things these people did deliberately there's
[37:16]nothing they can say to make an excuse they were rational reasonable
[37:19]they had no excuse of course allah stresses think of 70.
[37:25]but i really can't think of a single one in that moment
[37:27]if you have it in you to forgive your karma is the
[37:34]most deep it can ever be subhan allah and if you're willing
[37:38]to forgive them rest assured will forgive you of anything insha'allah imam
[37:43]and much provides us all of these valuable pearls of wisdom brothers
[37:49]and sisters that transcend time and these are just basic four from
[37:53]a list that if you examine you will find many moments you
[37:59]can make dissertations from them subhanallah and inshallah we can see more
[38:03]of these made on an academic level and not because look i
[38:06]want to write make more attention raise my ahalu invades they don't
[38:10]need to be risen they're already raised inshaallah but just from an
[38:16]a historic perspective look at this where do you see a society
[38:20]it's extremely unprecedented where you have a scholar if you want to
[38:23]just look at things purely historically because the non-muslim won't call them
[38:27]imam's fine you have an upright individual scholarly to the highest caliber
[38:33]who's bringing you such sentiments that transcend time that really are not
[38:38]in his favor why because look at how many people are leveling
[38:41]accusations against him why would he say i'm even willing to forgive
[38:44]you why would he say that we know what imam hasan went
[38:49]through you know how many accusations they leveled against him just just
[38:52]just purely we'll talk about this in our upcoming nights on the
[38:56]misconceptions of but just purely on how many times he got married
[38:59]do you know how many times you know what the number goes
[39:04]to three hundred and eighteen times how many women imam and mustapha
[39:08]got married with and that he has no concern with khilafah he's
[39:11]more about marry-making and womanizing last lie checked that was easy but
[39:16]people took it people took it if you see that being leveled
[39:22]against you will you ever come out and say that the most
[39:24]generous individual is the one who can even forgive the individual who
[39:27]has sinned but can't bring any more excuses you would never say
[39:33]that how about from just a historical level observe that hassani phenomenon
[39:38]why because truly he is the greatest of sublime mannerism is this
[39:43]guy this imam this individual truly he transcends time subhanallah i wish
[39:47]more people would write academic pieces on this it's abnormal it should
[39:52]be in his favor to come out and say even if you've
[39:56]sinned and you bring excuses you should be held accountable he doesn't
[40:00]say that honestly this is something that really perplexes the mind if
[40:04]an individual just pauses and observes in addition let alone the psychological
[40:08]aspects of advice that he offers the make sure you count your
[40:15]blessings before they go on i even as small as the blessing
[40:17]of what of being able to see that allah at an adam's
[40:23]weight has blessed you woman unless you've examined that and appreciated it
[40:38]it's still a blessing but it's a lost blessing and from what
[40:49]blessings that he has shared you with can you deny then i
[40:52]need to examine these blessings of my lord and if you were
[40:55]to count them as the quran says you will never be able
[40:58]to count them how about if i don't even know they exist
[41:01]you will feel like you're not even blessed bring them to existence
[41:06]and not just that when you see them and you've acknowledged them
[41:09]there's no shame talking about them spreading them look at what allah
[41:12]has blessed me here today with be clever when you do it
[41:17]why because and ask for the blessing of your lord speak about
[41:30]it so that it can encourage other people but you have to
[41:34]be clever because other people may not want your best interest in
[41:37]mind and so and then we will wrap with this inshallah ta'ala
[41:40]one has to always remember the wise words of the father of
[41:46]this imam amir mu'min makes mention cover three things in your life
[41:50]many love this quote and for good reason cover your head conceal
[41:58]your method in times there are some times in the world your
[42:03]men have an identity will bring you and your family in trouble
[42:06]there are sometimes you have to be a bit more calm if
[42:11]you want to be a soldier go ahead and push through it
[42:14]just maybe be prepared to be banned from a certain country never
[42:17]do hajika and so on and so forth not to get political
[42:21]whatsoever but there are cases it would be fine if you don't
[42:26]show off your bara especially one of them is your mother and
[42:32]then in other times go big be shitty and a half go
[42:33]honest go big and loud with it lawfully and a half go
[42:36]ahead but you have to be clever what the heck and your
[42:40]gold how much money do you have the whole world doesn't need
[42:44]to know keep it to yourself really just hold on to it
[42:46]keep it to yourself conceal it it's not watching but it's in
[42:51]your interest what the havoc and your travels oh my god how
[42:54]many people when they travel they have to post it on their
[42:55]story they have to post on this and this i'm happy for
[42:59]them me personally but i know there's that one guy oh he's
[43:03]like dang this guy goes everywhere one day he's in bora bora
[43:04]the other day he's where else the other day he's in vancouver
[43:06]then he's chilling here and in a span of like three weeks
[43:10]he's visited four countries subhanallah this guy must have a lot of
[43:12]money he's chilling and i'm stuck in quarantine that's going to create
[43:17]a lot of envy in that situation acknowledge the blessing share it
[43:22]but be clever with how you do it remember these four pieces
[43:25]of wisdom that transcend time a bare bone minimum scratching the surface
[43:32]from the plethora the ocean of wisdom that is imam and to
[43:37]conclude with that vision brothers and sisters i would be remiss if
[43:43]i didn't share together all together the lovely dua of imam and
[43:47]hassan this supplication and we will conclude with this brothers and sisters
[43:50]it reminds you of a particular dua you guys are all familiar
[43:54]with it's maybe you know it we recite it on thursdays and
[43:58]you're thinking wow the apple does not fall far from the tree
[44:01]but the wording in it is very lovely and sadly understudied i
[44:07]don't know why because this dua incorporates what quran and sublime words
[44:12]that connect to the divine and quran together and you can find
[44:21]this in foreign oh allah we ask you on behalf of the
[46:38]one buried in general raise your hands brothers and sisters on let
[47:09]us recite the ayaat five times brothers and sisters subhanallah i have
[47:13]been getting messages from brothers and sisters telling me that they have
[47:19]family members that are unwell and i thought i got enough from
[47:21]the first night every night i'm getting subhanallah more people are realizing
[47:25]that there is a program on behalf of the one known as
[47:28]kareem ahlul and so for the sake of his karma and generosity
[47:32]have him beseech allah by his name to heal all those who
[47:39]are sick so for those who have messaged and reached out let
[47:41]us recite the ayat five times [Laughter] foreign allah let them know
[49:05]that we have
