[0:03]what's wrong test in Allah Allah Allah Allah foreign Usher the one
[1:41]too long hi Allah Allah foreign [Applause] [Applause] foreign foreign who was
[4:44]born on the 13th of the holy month of rajab 30 years
[4:49]after the birth of rasulullah 30 years after amalfil and the birth
[4:59]of was a significant event in the history and the development of
[5:03]the religion of Islam because he was the number one supporter of
[5:12]rasulullah the first believer in Allah and if it were not foreign
[5:20]rasulullah says he himself he says if it were not for Amir
[5:26]then the religion of Islam would not have been built rasulullah he
[5:29]says in a statement Islam if it were not for The Sword
[5:40]and the defense and the wealth of Khadijah the religion of Islam
[5:46]would not have been built and was special he was unique unlike
[5:55]all of the other Muslims unlike all of the others who joined
[6:02]the religion of Islam was different and that is that in every
[6:07]time the Muslims were tested in times of difficulty amironment was the
[6:13]first to volunteer himself the first to put his life on the
[6:17]line for the sake of the religion of Islam it was different
[6:23]because while the other sahaba with all respect to the companions of
[6:28]the Prophet many of them were good individuals with all respect to
[6:34]them many of them they joined the religion of Islam after Decades
[6:38]of idol worship after Decades of polytheism they joined the religion of
[6:45]Islam and may Allah reward those who joined the religion of Islam
[6:50]for their Good Deeds however was different because he says I was
[7:00]born in the religion of Islam although Amir was born before the
[7:04]Battle of rasulullah was one who never worshiped an idol was one
[7:16]who was raised by rasulullah when he was born his mother handed
[7:23]him was one who was born in the Holy Kappa which one
[7:32]of the sahaba which one of the Muslims they were born in
[7:38]the Holy Kaaba and this is why the Quran considers to be
[7:43]so close to rasulullah where the Quran refers to him as the
[7:48]nafs of rasulullah the nafs the soul of the prophet in the
[7:53]verse when Allah says in the Quran is this was when the
[8:17]Christians they came to debate with the prophet they kept debating and
[8:23]debating until Allah tells the prophet tell them you want to continue
[8:26]debating let's go and do means we go out and we ask
[8:33]Allah to send the wrath upon the Liars upon the group that's
[8:36]a liar so this is the order of Allah we will call
[8:47]our children and you call your children we will call our woman
[8:53]and you call your women and we will bring our nafs our
[8:56]souls ourselves and you bring yourselves which was on the 24th of
[9:08]the rasulullah brought foreign from amongst the woman he could have brought
[9:13]many women but he only brought Fatima and he brought him as
[9:19]the children and in the category of the nafs he brought today
[9:27]some people they say no okay which category would he fall in
[9:32]would he fall in the category of the children of the Prophet
[9:35]no he's not from the children of the Prophet would he fall
[9:38]in the category of the woman obviously not so there's only one
[9:42]category that could be placed in and that is the nafs of
[9:52]rasulullah and indeed he was so close to rasulullah that Muslims and
[9:58]rasulullah considered him like the nafs of rasulullah they asked the leader
[10:04]of the humbly school of thought they asked him who are the
[10:07]greatest of the sahaba he said Abu Bakr and then they tell
[10:13]him and then who he says Omar they tell him and then
[10:18]who he says they tell him what about you've left he tells
[10:26]them is the nafs of the prophets you asked me about the
[10:29]sahaba you asked me about the companions the Quran refers to Talib
[10:36]as the nafs he was closer than any of the other Companions
[10:42]and this is the reality my dear brothers and sisters and it
[10:48]is no surprise for us that chose him to be the leader
[10:59]after him that God chose to be the leader after Allah because
[11:03]he was so close to the prophet in fact he was the
[11:09]the position of leadership and Khalifa is a position of purity was
[11:15]the pure one that was raised by rasulullah from the beginning of
[11:24]his life it was all Purity a man who was born in
[11:28]a place of worship and his life came to an end after
[11:35]63 years also in the states of sujud while he was performing
[11:38]sujud and in between he lived a life of Devotion to Allah
[11:43]defending rasulallah defending the Quran and defending the religion of Islam yes
[11:49]that is on the 13th of rajab now the month of rajab
[12:00]is the season of umrah it's the season of Performing umrah even
[12:06]in pre-islamic times people used to perform umrah and rajab this is
[12:09]why rajab is one of the asharan Haram one of the Sacred
[12:11]months Fatima have been to Assad she's pregnant and she goes she
[12:18]began she begins to circumambilate around the Kaaba to do to laugh
[12:22]around the Kaaba and she says oh my Lord I am a
[12:31]faithful believer in you and in The Messengers and the books that
[12:37]you have sent and I believe in my grandfather the words of
[12:50]monotheism of my grandfather Ibrahim al-khalil and he is the one who
[12:55]built the Kaaba lady so I ask you by the honor of
[13:09]the one who built the sacred home the sacred Kaaba and by
[13:13]the honor and the hack of the one who is in my
[13:16]belly in my don't make my pregnancy easy every pregnant lady before
[13:20]giving birth she gets nervous she goes through anxiety is doing the
[13:27]Dua she's asking Allah to give her ease and when she finished
[13:32]that Dua the Kaaba the Kaaba has a door but the Kaaba
[13:38]has Corners Four Corners the corner or the corner of cracked open
[13:45]and until today if any of you have gone to Mecca you
[13:50]go and you see that corner of the Kaaba you see there's
[13:52]a crack still there on the Kaaba until today you could see
[13:58]it you go and you see that the cupboard opened from its
[14:01]Corners went inside she went inside and she delivered that baby that
[14:11]child who came to be the greatest supporter of rasulullah and the
[14:16]first believer she stayed in the Kaaba for three days and it
[14:22]was a very crowded event there were many people watching because there's
[14:26]a lot of people in Masjid Al Haram they were all waiting
[14:31]outside not knowing what's happening and from those who were waiting waiting
[14:37]for his supporter she comes out and she's carrying a baby with
[14:46]her and soon after this baby was handed over to the hands
[14:51]of rasulullah because there was a time where Abu Talib went through
[14:58]some difficulties so rasulullah he tells his uncle he tells his uncle
[15:03]Abu Talib we will help you in raising your sons and raising
[15:06]your children so Hamza took one of the sons and and he
[15:18]says I chose to raise the one who God chose above you
[15:24]all and he raised the same way and showed him love rasulullah
[15:35]showed love he says he says you all know my position from
[15:50]Allah you all know that I was the closest to the prophet
[15:58]he's telling the Muslims many years later he carried me in his
[16:09]lap Walid means I'm a newborn meaning a newborn he carried me
[16:13]and he brings me closer to his chest where you can iFunny
[16:16]if Russia just like the parents they put the newborn in their
[16:22]own bed next to them he says he put me next to
[16:29]him our bodies would touch and I I grew up smelling the
[16:35]scent of rasulullah you know a baby knows the scent of their
[16:38]parents especially the mother they know the scent of their mother he
[16:42]says I I grew up with the sense of rasulullah he used
[16:51]to chew the food and then he used to put it in
[16:55]my mouth at that time there was no baby food so a
[16:58]mother to get the child to eat she used to chew the
[16:59]food and then put it in the in the health of the
[17:02]child this is and then he says and he never saw me
[17:13]lying he never saw me slipping and doing things that were wrong
[17:18]and then he describes he says the greatest of God's angels was
[17:32]always with the prophet he was always protecting rasulullah and always with
[17:37]the prophet yes he says and I used to follow rasulullah just
[17:54]like the baby camel follows its mother it places its foot in
[18:01]the same place he says every day he would discipline me he
[18:11]would raise me and then he says until I heard the Ranna
[18:15]of the shaytan the scream of the shaytan I asked rasulullah what
[18:19]is this he tells me this is Iblis he's given up hope
[18:25]that he will be worshiped you see what I see in You
[18:35]Hear What I Hear except you are not a prophet so my
[18:39]dear brothers and sisters was the first to believe and some people
[18:47]they come and they try to take away this virtue from they
[18:53]come and they say he was the first child to believe and
[18:55]from the adults there were others who believed in rasulullah believing in
[19:01]is believing my dear brothers and sisters supporting is supporting taking a
[19:06]position and defending that is a position and he was the first
[19:15]to take a stance in defense of rasulullah in fact in the
[19:22]first occasion where was publicly came out to tell people about his
[19:31]prophethood who was he supposed to tell he told his family Allah
[19:36]tells him and tell your family first tell your Ashira tell your
[19:42]tribe so he slaughtered the sheep and he cooked for three days
[19:53]rasulullah the first day he tries to tell them Abu Talib he
[19:58]says something and then it was a failed attempt the second day
[20:02]the third day after he feeds them he tells his family oh
[20:05]my dear family I don't know anyone who has brought his family
[20:11]a gift and a message and a blessing like that which I
[20:14]have brought you the blessings of Dunya and akhara and that is
[20:22]for you to join Islam accept me as a prophet and who
[20:27]out of you will support me who out of you will be
[20:32]with me whoever supports me whoever believes in me this person will
[20:37]be my Khalifa my wasi and my wazir after me they all
[20:42]stay quiet at that time it's not easy to be the first
[20:47]to to to join a group joining the bandwagon once hundreds and
[20:52]thousands of people are writing it it's easy but when you're the
[20:56]first it's really hard because you have to be daring you have
[21:01]to have the faith you have to have the strong Iman none
[21:05]of the family even the family of rasulullah they stayed quiet who
[21:08]was around 13 years old at that day he had already believed
[21:12]met he had already believed in the prophet he says I will
[21:19]support you rasulullah tells him who out of you will support me
[21:25]he says I will support you I will be there for you
[21:27]who out of you will support me until Allah he tells he
[21:35]tells them he tells them therefore you are my Khalifa and you
[21:49]are my wasi and you are my wazir after me now the
[21:52]great scholar there's a scholar by the name of tabari he has
[21:59]a book and he has a book in his book of History
[22:04]in his Tariq he points out the Hadith exactly the way it
[22:09]was mentioned right now and then he says therefore you are my
[22:16]Khalifa my wasi and my wazir after me of this verse he
[22:24]says the whole story but then he says therefore you are blank
[22:34]blank blank after me imagine leaving out the more the most sensitive
[22:40]word is this being truthful is this honesty no and this is
[22:53]the oppression had to deal with as we mentioned he was raised
[23:03]by the prophet born in the Kaaba pure birth the first to
[23:06]believe rasulullah announced him to his family and he was always the
[23:13]one who would put his life on the line in the defense
[23:18]of rasulullah in the defense of the religion of Islam the prophet
[23:22]was preaching the religion of Islam for 13 years in Mecca a
[23:28]handful of people believed in him not that many people believed in
[23:32]him and there was an assassination attempt on the life of the
[23:40]prophet assassination attempt they said for once and for all let's kill
[23:44]the prophets they gathered 40 tribes and 40 men they came and
[23:49]they said let's all attack at the same time who's going to
[23:53]take responsibility for this they don't know that while they're plotting they
[24:03]plot they make plans but Allah also makes plans this is the
[24:08]thing that people felt and understand where jibril comes and tells Allah
[24:14]a good informant though he comes and he tells Allah this is
[24:20]the plan tonight you leave tonight is your night of Hijra tonight
[24:24]you have to leave Mecca but someone has to stay in the
[24:34]house someone has to put his life on the line so that
[24:36]they don't realize that the prophet has left so he comes and
[24:43]he tells him he tells him ya Ali ya Ali tonight my
[24:50]house is going to be attacked tonight for the men from quraish
[24:57]with their swords wielded they're ready to attack the house are you
[25:00]willing to stay in the house are you willing to sleep in
[25:02]my bed he doesn't say will I live will I survive this
[25:14]he says will my faith be sound if I do this and
[25:18]will you be safe rasulullah tells him I will be safe and
[25:20]you will be safe and your faith will be saved he says
[25:24]yes yes I'm willing to do it and that night slept in
[25:31]the bed of the Prophet The Night of the Hijra the prophet
[25:34]goes to the cave he sleeps in the bed of the Prophet
[25:39]many years later they asked him he says that night was the
[25:41]most comfortable sleep I slept imagine how many of us would be
[25:46]able to sleep knowing it's going to be attacked he slept that
[25:50]night and the Hadith says that Allah tells the two angels Allah
[25:58]tells them o angels I made you two brothers and I made
[26:01]Muhammad and Ali Brothers which one out of you is willing to
[26:07]sacrifice his life for the other go and look at Ali he's
[26:08]sacrificing his life for Allah go down to earth and and protect
[26:18]him one on his side and one on the other they say
[26:21]men who is like you o Ali were the Angels Allah tells
[26:30]the Angels learn from this is and the verse was revealed yes
[26:42]and there are from those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for
[26:49]the satisfaction of Allah and that was of course therefore their plot
[26:57]was foiled and they attacked but they saw that it was not
[27:01]rasulullah and rasulullah had escaped and later on he also was able
[27:06]to join rasulullah in Medina after the migration but it was not
[27:12]an easy time today when we sit and we read about the
[27:15]difficulties that rasulullah and the Muslims went through we my dear brothers
[27:19]and sisters our Islam this religion that came to us on a
[27:24]silver plate it came to us very easy and we take it
[27:28]for granted we don't appreciate the Salah we don't appreciate the places
[27:33]of worship we don't appreciate the things that we have my dear
[27:37]brothers and sisters the early Believers this Islam did not come to
[27:41]them easy this is why we have to appreciate it the Muslims
[27:46]they migrated to Medina and the battles began one after the other
[27:49]the Battle of Badr the battle of the battle of azab the
[27:54]battle of all of these battles one after the other and you
[28:00]see who was the closest you want to see who had the
[28:06]greatest Iman your actions are a reflection of your and go and
[28:10]look at the locations he was the first and the Battle of
[28:17]Badr 70 of the mushrikeen were killed half of them were killed
[28:19]in the hands and the sword of 35.
[28:22]it was the role of Ali in the Battle of in the
[28:27]Battle of which was the most difficult and challenging moment for the
[28:31]Muslims a very challenging moment the Muslims they saw that that's it
[28:37]they're going to get wiped out and they started they turned around
[28:42]and they started running up the hill they started running up the
[28:46]mountain Allah describes the prophet is calling you from behind you my
[28:58]companions where are you one of them he ran away he showed
[29:04]up three days later three days later he showed up and then
[29:07]he comes and he wants to claim to be a leader of
[29:11]the Muslims and four others and one of them was a lady
[29:16]stood around the prophet defending rasulullah he kept fighting and fighting and
[29:23]defending the prophets until his sword broke his sword broke in the
[29:28]battle he tells Allah a man is supposed to fight with his
[29:32]sword my sword is broken jibril comes down and gives rasulullah a
[29:39]sword and Jabra IL calls out between the heavens [Applause] there is
[29:47]no Valiant Soldier and man like and there is no sword like
[29:59]my dear brothers and sisters what makes him unique Imam Ali was
[30:08]makes him unique is that in the turbulent times when people were
[30:13]tested when people went through difficulties when the Iman and the faith
[30:17]of people of the Muslims was tested remained constant and this is
[30:22]how you should be my dear brothers and sisters this is how
[30:27]we should be be the constant let your Iman be what gives
[30:31]you stability and constancy and consistence consistency in times of difficulties turn
[30:39]to Allah Allah if you have the love of God in your
[30:45]heart then you should not have fear then you should not compromise
[30:50]your Iman and your faith you see that during the life of
[30:53]the Prophet there were those who came late to join the religion
[30:58]of Islam and after the death of the Prophet many of the
[31:01]sahaba were tested there were Wars there were battles amongst the sahaba
[31:07]foreign remained with the truth he remained constant and this is my
[31:15]dear brothers and sisters this is why we follow because he was
[31:21]the one who was always with the prophet from day one all
[31:24]the way until the end of his life we congratulate you all
[31:30]once again on this auspicious occasion and the Hadith says the remembrance
[31:40]and the mentioning of the merits it's a form of ibadah when
[31:44]you're loving Imam Ali some people they come and they say why
[31:49]don't you talk about rasulullah well if we want to love rasulullah
[31:52]and truly understand who do we have to go through the door
[31:58]to the city of knowledge is the one who will introduce us
[32:08]so my dear brothers and sisters I congratulate you all on the
[32:14]birth of tomorrow night Saturday night we're having a celebration here the
[32:18]celebration will be somewhat unique it's going to be a trivia form
[32:24]of uh question a game show style there's going to be Nasheed
[32:27]and maulid as well and come here and celebrate the birth of
[32:32]Amir as we learn about the life of Allah alhamdulillah um my
[34:33]dear brothers and sisters the Friday prayer if sometimes if the circumstances
[34:44]are there it is supposed to address some of the current affairs
[34:48]and some of the current issues that are going on and while
[34:53]we are talking about reminds us of a leader and a government
[35:01]that stood upon Justice one thing that makes his government he only
[35:08]ruled for about five years but the time that he ruled despite
[35:13]the turbulence despite the three Wars that were waged against him Jamal
[35:20]and despite all of that was able to establish justice did not
[35:25]discriminate in his rule did not divide People based on ethnicities Arab
[35:31]and non-arab he gave everyone equally everyone was treated equally and this
[35:36]is one of the reasons why some people did not like him
[35:40]because as soon as the official Khalifa came to him he started
[35:43]treating people equally from batal Mal from the Muslim treasury a lady
[35:47]comes to him she tells him I think there was a mistake
[35:51]she received her income her weekly or monthly income she says I
[35:54]think there was a mistake he tells her what was the mistake
[35:58]she says you gave me the same amount that you gave this
[36:01]non-arab lady he tells her I read the Quran I didn't see
[36:04]anywhere in the Quran where it says an Arab is better than
[36:10]a non-arab I read in the Quran it says verily the one
[36:14]who's the closest in the eyes of God is the one who
[36:19]has the most taqwa and this is the equality that we have
[36:21]been missing until today since the day was killed there has not
[36:28]been a just government and we are we are witnessing the Injustice
[36:33]and yesterday here in the United States although there's a lot of
[36:38]Injustice going on but this was all over the news and that
[36:43]was when the United States Congress the Republican party they voted to
[36:48]remove the only Muslim hijabi from Africa black congresswoman there they decided
[36:59]to remove her from the Foreign Relations Committee you see as soon
[37:04]as they came as soon as they got hold of the Congress
[37:08]this was one of the first acts that they did they've been
[37:10]threatening to remove her this whole time and now they did yesterday
[37:15]and if this shows us anything it shows us the islamophobia it
[37:23]shows us the racism it shows us the bigotry and it shows
[37:28]us the loyalty not to the United States and not to the
[37:32]Constitution of the United States which tells which says that everyone should
[37:36]be treated equally but it shows us that the majority are a
[37:42]group of people in Congress they're more loyal to Israel than they
[37:45]are to the United States of America why what was their justification
[37:50]why did they remove her they said we're removing her because she
[37:54]said a few anti-semitic things well here there's a big difference when
[38:01]you're criticizing Israel a country that is based upon apartheid a country
[38:07]that is oppressing and carrying out acts of aggression against its neighbors
[38:12]and the citizens and people there and the Palestinians Muslim or Christian
[38:18]if you're criticizing Israel here here they will equate it to anti-Semitism
[38:25]and that is not anti-semitic it's not anti-semitic to criticize Israel criticize
[38:29]some Muslim countries countries that are ruled by Muslims they're led by
[38:35]Muslims we criticize them does this make you anti-islam if you're criticizing
[38:38]the policies the politics of a predominantly Muslim country so here we
[38:44]see the double standards that are carrying out in the name of
[38:50]the U.S government using the Constitution and what's funny is that these
[38:55]are the same people that come and preach democracy and human rights
[38:59]and let's talk about the oppression that other people are seeing all
[39:04]over the world but now when it comes to Israel they go
[39:07]back to the roots of bigotry and Prejudice and islamophobia and this
[39:14]is a reality my dear brothers and sisters why is it that
[39:18]this lady was removed from the Foreign Relations Committee do you have
[39:21]to be white do you have to be a man to talk
[39:25]about U.S foreign policy why can't someone who's a refugee why can't
[39:28]someone who's an American just like everyone else talk about and has
[39:32]been voted to Congress why can't someone who's a Muslim talk about
[39:35]foreign policy is this only to the white-skinned people is this only
[39:40]to someone who is not a Muslim they have the right to
[39:43]talk about foreign policy well guess what maybe they need a Muslim
[39:45]to give them some points about foreign policy because it is the
[39:52]Muslims who are on the opposite end of American foreign policy usually
[39:55]the Muslims are the ones who are being oppressed as a result
[40:00]of American foreign policy and American loyalty to Israel so this is
[40:05]a point that I felt that needed to be addressed and another
[40:12]point I wanted to I wanted to address is the last week
[40:14]or a few days ago the Peshawar uh bombing in a Masjid
[40:19]and this is also something very sad where a group of people
[40:23]with a twisted mentality they come in the name of Islam in
[40:29]the name of the Quran in the name of this beautiful religion
[40:31]a religion of Peace a religion of Tolerance a religion of acceptance
[40:38]to other people they come and they blow up a mosque blow
[40:41]up people praying in a mosque is this Islam is this the
[40:47]Quran is this something that rasulullah would be happy with of course
[40:52]not of course not but these problems that exist and the weakness
[40:57]of the Muslims yes there are foreign enemies that are trying to
[41:06]destroy Islam but at the end of the day we Muslims we
[41:08]need to stand strong and we need to speak out against the
[41:13]Injustice we ask Allah to bring peace and Justice to the oppressed
[41:17]wherever they may be my dear brothers and sisters before I finish
[41:21]we have this form here and brother Hassan can give you more
[41:28]they're outside this is to sign up for to be a recurrent
[41:30]donor to con to every month give a donation to this organization
[41:38]as you know my dear brothers and sisters the birth of last
[41:42]year was our first function was our first event so it's been
[41:46]one year where we started this organization alhamdulillah Allah has helped us
[41:52]and we've been able to achieve so much and from what we
[41:57]have seen from what we have been seeing from our programs the
[42:00]Sunday School the Friday prayer Thursday night and our main functions this
[42:07]facility unfortunately it's become too small for us and we are quickly
[42:13]outgrowing it because there's a large community here that is in need
[42:16]so we have been inshallah and we're thinking of finding a bigger
[42:23]place either a building or a piece of land and that will
[42:26]require support from the community of course support comes from Allah but
[42:30]Allah says you do something and I will put the Baraka and
[42:36]I will help you and I will support you and one other
[42:37]thing that we need even if we were to get a bigger
[42:41]place even if we were to get uh something larger we would
[42:46]need to show the bank and in order to sustain the costs
[42:49]of a larger place a larger facility we would need to show
[42:52]that we have constant recurring donations coming in even if it's at
[42:58]fifty dollars even if it's at a hundred dollars even if it's
[43:02]at 150 200 whatever you can give my dear brothers and sisters
[43:06]on your Netflix account on your Hulu on your streaming we probably
[43:14]spend more than a hundred dollars easily a year just to go
[43:17]out and have dinner or have lunch with the family you're spending
[43:20]more than a hundred dollars so it's not going to be much
[43:25]to allocate a small amount something depending on how much you can
[43:29]give towards this organization may Allah bless you all you could get
[43:32]this from Brother Hassan or they're outside inshallah you could get these
[43:36]and fill them out and please give them to brother Hassan alhamdulillah
[43:45]foreign [Applause]
