[0:00]want to Hey, [Music] [Music] [Laughter] Allah.
[0:55]Why about Allah?
[1:44]Alhamdulillah.
[1:47]Alhamdulillah.
[1:50]Forhamd.
[2:02][Music] Aliham.
[2:33]Aliham.
[2:36]Aliham.
[2:38]Mhammed.
[2:41][Music] [Music] Since the beginning of time, there has been a struggle
[3:28]between the principles of good, the forces of justice and equality.
[3:36]versus the forces of evil, the forces that take advantage of people,
[3:45]the abuse people.
[3:45]This conflict has been going on for generations.
[3:51]For as long as humans have been living on this earth, there
[3:55]has been this conflict.
[3:59]And within this conflict, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sent prophets and messengers.
[4:06]And it is without a doubt that the prophets and the messengers,
[4:13]they always stood against corruption, against injustice, against the oppressors and stood
[4:20]on the side of the oppressed.
[4:24]and cameas after 124,000 prophets and Allah brought the message of Islam
[4:35]and once again just like all of the prophets before him brought
[4:42]a message that teaches us to stand against oppression to stand against
[4:48]the to stand with h giving people their justice and their equal
[4:53]rights and giving people their dignity.
[4:56]And this is what defines you as a Muslim.
[5:02]The message of Islam, the job of the prophets was to invite
[5:07]people to worship God and believe in the one and only Allah.
[5:11]But that was not all the message of the prophets.
[5:15]In addition to believing and worshiping in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, the
[5:21]prophets came and su came with a message of human rights came
[5:26]with a message of basic human rights and defending these rights and
[5:32]this is the message of Islam today.
[5:35]There's somewhat this type of understanding that some people try to share
[5:40]either in the media or you hear in some of the words
[5:46]of some of the presidents political leaders that this idea of human
[5:51]rights and human dignity and human values.
[5:54]This is a western concept that the west came and introduced to
[5:59]the world and they brought civilization and they brought justice and democracy
[6:04]and love and all of these things.
[6:06]But this is very far from the truth.
[6:09]When we look at Islam as a message and when we look
[6:15]at all of the messages and the teachings of all of the
[6:17]prophets, we see that in addition to calling people to worship Allah
[6:22]subhanahu wa ta'ala, these prophets, they were champions of human rights.
[6:30]And today when we look at Islam as a religion, we see
[6:34]that Islam preserves the basic level of human rights.
[6:39]and these human rights.
[6:39]You don't have to be a Muslim.
[6:41]Whatever religion you are, you're a Muslim, you're Christian, you're Jewish, you're
[6:47]Buddhist, you're atheist, you're Hindu, whatever religion you are, there is a
[6:53]basic level of human rights.
[6:53]That is a divine gift that Allah subhana t has given every
[7:01]single individual and no one has the right to take that away
[7:05]from any person.
[7:05]These are the human rights.
[7:08]And when we read the Quran, when we read the words of
[7:11]and the words of the we see that this is something that
[7:17]is highlighted, we see that this is something that is very clear.
[7:21]As soon as you read the Quran and have a proper understanding
[7:24]of the Quran or read about the life of Sam or the
[7:33]B.
[7:32]There are some basic rights that every person has.
[7:36]Now I know we live in a time where having basic rights
[7:42]is a foreign concept to some people.
[7:46]Today there's some people they have an ideology that only they deserve
[7:50]to have these basic rights.
[7:51]Whether it's the right to life or the right to dignity, the
[7:56]right to travel, the right to freedom, these basic human rights.
[8:00]Today we live in a world where there's so one group of
[8:03]people they deserve and they're entitled to have it and another group
[8:08]of people if they don't have it oh well it's their fault
[8:10]and this is something very clear.
[8:13]You see in the some of them they mention it very clearly
[8:17]like for example just a few days ago Trump in his in
[8:22]his United Nations address you could tell that the person that's talking
[8:25]is a racist is a person that is bigoted a person that
[8:27]sees two different types of humans one one group are the group
[8:34]that deserve to live a dignified life and another group no they
[8:37]don't even deserve the basic human rights so but when we look
[8:42]at the Quran When we look at the message of Islam, we
[8:47]see that Islam and the teachings of the prophets, they give dignity
[8:51]to human right.
[8:51]They give value to human rights and dignity to the individuals.
[8:57]From amongst the most obvious and the clearest of human rights that
[9:02]are defended by Islam is the right to life.
[9:03]The right to life.
[9:05]Who is the one that gives life?
[9:07]It is Allah subhanana wa ta'ala.
[9:08]And who is the one that takes the life?
[9:12]It is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and no one has the right
[9:18]to dictate who deserves to live and who does not deserve to
[9:21]live.
[9:22]No matter what religion, no matter what ideology that the people have,
[9:26]no one could come and take that right away.
[9:29]And the Quran is very clear.
[9:30]Even people that do not believe in the Quran, even people that
[9:33]do not believe in the prophets and the message of Islam and
[9:37]the message of the prophets, you see that the Quran defends their
[9:40]rights.
[9:41]The prophets, they defend their rights.
[9:43]And this is something that is very clear.
[9:46]And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran, Allah says, "And
[10:08]we told and Allah makes it very clear that these were the
[10:12]people that received this instruction, the people that at the time they
[10:16]were the ones who were the recipients of the message of the
[10:19]prophets.
[10:20]So they should know better than anyone else.
[10:26]We told the Israelites [Music] you take one soul.
[10:39]Allah doesn't say Allah doesn't say the one who kills a believer
[10:46]in God or a person who believe is a m Allah says
[10:51]whoever kills any persons any souls it's as if they have killed
[11:02]all of mankind and the religion does not stop there today some
[11:06]religions they come and they tell you don't hurt people.
[11:12]But Allah subhana wa ta'ala continues meaning that I shouldn't be just
[11:18]someone that yeah, I'm not going to kill, I'm not going to
[11:21]oppress.
[11:22]No, I should be someone that stri strives to give life, be
[11:26]someone that's a humanitarian, someone that defends the human rights of people.
[11:33]And if you give life and if you defend the life of
[11:37]one person, it's as if you have defended life of everyone else.
[11:45]And these are from the teachings of Islam.
[11:46]And the Quran goes even a level further today.
[11:51]Some people they say, "Yeah, we'll give them the right to live.
[11:56]We'll just drop we'll drop food on them which is killing them
[11:57]as it's falling on them and then they live.
[12:00]They could live however they want." No.
[12:02]Allah subhana wa ta'ala says that the human being not only deserves
[12:06]to live but deserves to live a dignified life.
[12:10]You are the creation of Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[12:14]And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Allah says we honored and dignified the
[12:18]son of Adam.
[12:20]Allah tells Adam [Music] in an ideal word world a person should
[12:31]not feel hungry and a person should not not have clothes to
[12:37]wear.
[12:38]A person should not deal with the problem of thirst.
[12:40]These are basic human rights according to the Quran.
[12:44]But what kind of a world do we live in today?
[12:48]Today we live in a world where those who speak in the
[12:50]name of civilization, those who speak in the name of human rights,
[12:56]they are the usurpers of human rights across the world.
[12:58]They are the ones that are taking away with their arms and
[13:03]with their sanctions and with their votes and whatever means they have.
[13:07]They are stripping millions of people from their basic human rights.
[13:12]Yes, everyone has the re the the freedom to live.
[13:17]Everyone has the freedom to live honorably.
[13:21]The moment you take away and you infringe on someone's basic human
[13:24]rights, then that's when you lose your rights as well.
[13:26]And Allah says in the Quran, yeah, there's a system of there's
[13:35]a system of a penal code.
[13:36]If I abuse others, then my rights should be taken away from
[13:40]me.
[13:41]And this is common sense.
[13:42]But otherwise, no person whatever they believe in, whatever god they worship,
[13:47]whatever whatever they believe in, whatever their ideology is, they have the
[13:52]basic right to live.
[13:55]And look at the prophet did not kill people or force people
[13:59]to change their religion.
[14:02]Allah when he migrated to Medina there were Jews and Christians around.
[14:06]There were Christians there were there were polytheists left them.
[14:11]Even when he entered into the home and entered into Mecca he
[14:17]said whoever is in the home of Abu Sufyan is safe.
[14:18]So this is one.
[14:21]Second, a basic human right that the religion of Islam and the
[14:26]religions and the prophets defend and stand for is the right to
[14:29]freedom of beliefs.
[14:33]Every person they are entitled to make their own decision on what
[14:38]they want to believe in.
[14:42]There's no force, there's no uh force and coercion when it comes
[14:46]to beliefs.
[14:48]This is something that's common sense.
[14:50]Why?
[14:48]Because what value does it have?
[14:53]If you're forcing someone to believe in something, if I force someone
[14:55]to believe in something, does that have any value?
[14:59]Does that mean anything anymore?
[15:00]Doesn't mean anything anymore.
[15:02]And this is why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran
[15:10]there should be no coercion when it comes to faith because what
[15:17]is right what is h is very clear from what is and
[15:19]even sometimes you see in the Quran Allah subhana wa ta mentions
[15:25]that the prophet he had this desire to have everyone join the
[15:29]message of Islam not because he wants to force them but because
[15:35]he felt for them because he wanted everyone to ride the ark
[15:38]that is going to be saved.
[15:38]The same with all the prophets.
[15:44]But Allah subhana wa ta'ala tells can you force people to be?
[15:52]You can't.
[15:51]That's it.
[15:53]Some people they choose to believe and some people choose to not
[15:56]believe.
[15:57]So you see that this choice that people have when it comes
[16:02]to beliefs, this is also a basic human right that every single
[16:06]person they have to reach that conclusion on their own.
[16:09]You can't come and force someone to believe in something.
[16:12]Yes, you could show them the way.
[16:14]You could guide them.
[16:14]You could put them on the right path.
[16:16]But the ultimate decision goes back to them.
[16:20]And here you see that there were mush the prophet did not
[16:29]force them to change their religion.
[16:29]And Allah says this inba if if someone from the comes and
[16:42]seeks refuge in you give them refuge and give them safety.
[16:56]and let them listen.
[16:59]Give them an opportunity to listen to the message that you have.
[17:03]So we said the right of life and the right of a
[17:07]dignified life, the right to choose what you believe.
[17:08]These are basic human rights.
[17:12]Another basic human rights that is guaranteed by Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[17:15]is the right of free speech.
[17:16]Every person you see the moment a child is born Allah subhana
[17:23]wa ta'ala gives that child the freedom to express themselves and the
[17:27]freedom to protest and the freedom to cry.
[17:30]Crying is a protest.
[17:31]Allah subhana wa ta'ala gives every person that ability to speak and
[17:37]relay their message.
[17:40]Allah subhana wa ta'ala says in the Quran and once again we
[17:46]look at the religion of Islam we look at the life of
[17:49]there were people that were rude there were people that were intolerant
[17:54]there were people that were abusive and assaulting to the prophet he
[18:00]would let them go he would not he would allow them to
[18:07]speak when he was the ruler a man he criticizes and He
[18:10]ridicles in the middle of his salah and he lets him say
[18:16]what he wants to say because these are basic human rights.
[18:18]The ability to speak, the ability to express your anger, your frustration,
[18:24]whatever you have.
[18:26]And this is a gift that Allah subhana t has given people.
[18:29]The ability to speak.
[18:31]You could either use it in a positive way or a negative
[18:33]way.
[18:34]But we should remember that Allah subhana wa ta'ala will hold us
[18:37]accountable for whatever we say.
[18:44]Whatever you say, yes, you're held responsible for.
[18:47]You have the freedom to say it in this dunya, but then
[18:52]in the you are held responsible for it.
[18:55]Another basic freedom that is guaranteed in the Quran and in the
[19:01]message of Islam is the freedom to move freely on this earth.
[19:05]The freedom to travel.
[19:07]Right now we live in a world of borders.
[19:10]And you see ICE agents coming around and picking people up because
[19:15]for example they're living on this side of the border, not that
[19:18]side of the border.
[19:18]This is a man-made concept.
[19:21]The concept of borders.
[19:22]Allah subhanana wa ta'ala says in the Quran, "Go and travel in
[19:29]the land." Travel.
[19:32]Who Who's the creator of this land?
[19:33]Is it me or is it Allah?
[19:34]Is it one group of people that deserve and are entitled to
[19:36]live in this land and no one else isn't?
[19:38]This is a man-made concept.
[19:41]The concept of tying people up and placing them in one place.
[19:44]Allah says in the Quran, the right to migrate, the right to
[19:55]move.
[19:54]If one place you're not able to live, go live somewhere else.
[19:59]Allah subhana ta says that in the Quran and the fifth right
[20:03]that I wanted to mention from amongst the many rights that are
[20:08]guaranteed in Islam by the Quran and the the message of is
[20:15]the right to earth's resources.
[20:19]The earth has been Allah subhana wa ta'ala has filled it with
[20:25]resources.
[20:26]So not only 6 billion 10 billion as many people could live
[20:29]very comfortably.
[20:29]Allah subhana wa ta'ala has placed all of the resources in the
[20:36]earth and these are for no one government, one person, one ideology
[20:40]to come and take this.
[20:46]Allah says in the Quran, he created for you all.
[20:51]Meaning what's in the earth, the resources of the earth, they're for
[20:53]everyone.
[20:54]They're for everyone to share.
[20:56]And this is why we have in Islam the concept of the
[21:03]concept of zakat, the concept of charity because you give Allah subhana
[21:08]wa ta says clearly why we have to give.
[21:12]One of the reasons why and charity is so that there's no
[21:17]monopoly on the resources that Allah subhana wa ta'ala has created and
[21:21]Allah says this in Allah says what God has given to the
[21:33]prophet this is for the god the god the prophet the yatama
[21:39]the orphans the msak those who are in need and those who
[21:44]do not have and then Allah says so that it will not
[21:53]be monopolized by the rich.
[21:53]This is why we have the concept of zakat in Islam.
[21:58]This is why we have the concept of in Islam.
[22:01]You have to give sodaka so that the resources are going to
[22:05]be spread across and everyone will have a chance to live in
[22:09]a life of dignity, a life of honor and a life of
[22:13]so we see these are some of the basic we mentioned five
[22:19]human rights that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given the right the
[22:24]right to life and a right to a dignified life the right
[22:27]to freedom of belief the right to freedom of speech, the right
[22:32]to travel and move freely and the right to earth's resources.
[22:34]These are some of the basic human rights from amongst the human
[22:38]rights that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given every person regardless of
[22:43]their religion, regardless of their faith, regardless of their ideology, their skin
[22:47]color.
[22:48]All of that doesn't matter.
[22:49]Allah is the creator and he's the one who has given all
[22:54]of these.
[23:17]Alhamdulillah.
[23:20]Alhamdulillah.
[23:48]Ali Muhammadu Muhammad Muhammadu Muhammad.
[24:02][Music] Hudson Hussein Hussein Muhammad Ms.
[24:59]My dear brothers and sisters, we are talking about some of the
[25:04]basic human rights that Allah subhanana wa ta'ala has given.
[25:07]And the irony is that we live in a world where there
[25:13]are some that think that they are the inventors of human rights.
[25:17]They are the ones who have the right to say this person
[25:24]deserves human rights and this person does not deserve it.
[25:27]And we saw some of the words and the talking points in
[25:33]the United Nations how the presidents they talk and you see that
[25:37]it's a joke where some think that they are entitled to rights
[25:45]more than others.
[25:43]Today the right to life a basic right that should be common
[25:53]sense.
[25:54]Today you see some governments, some people with one click of a
[25:59]button, with one push of a button, they will wipe away thousands
[26:02]of lives, thousands of souls.
[26:05]Where's the human rights when it comes to that?
[26:09]Entire populations have become disposable.
[26:11]No one even cares.
[26:15]No one even talks about them.
[26:16]And yes, we say that everyone has the right to believe, the
[26:20]right to practice and find what you want to believe in.
[26:25]But you see today people in certain places in the world, they're
[26:29]targeted because of their beliefs, because of the color of their skin
[26:33]or because of their beliefs.
[26:37]And this is something that is going on today.
[26:38]Just as what we are seeing now, it's been two years with
[26:44]the genocide that's taking place in Gaza.
[26:47]As if there's no regard for human life and they're being killed
[26:51]as if they're bugs, as if they're chicken, as if they're sheep,
[26:54]whatever it is, you know, they don't even care.
[26:56]It's not as if this person is a human life.
[26:59]This person has ambitions.
[27:00]This person has parents, sons, daughters, children.
[27:04]No, they're just killed as if they are nothing.
[27:07]When it comes to freedom of speech, this freedom that is guaranteed
[27:13]by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala today even in America where we talk
[27:18]about freedom of speech as it is enshrined in the constitution and
[27:22]a part of a part of this nation's constitution.
[27:27]Today there are certain things you are allowed to say but there
[27:31]are certain things you're not allowed to say.
[27:33]And we saw what happened with Jimmy Kimmel a few days ago.
[27:35]Because of a few things he said, they came and they took
[27:40]him off the air.
[27:40]And in this country, there's a rule.
[27:43]You could talk about God.
[27:44]You could talk about the president.
[27:46]You could talk about anyone.
[27:47]But there's a specific group of people that you're not allowed to
[27:50]talk about.
[27:50]And the moment you talk about them, you're going to be cancelled.
[27:53]You're going to be cancelled and silenced.
[27:57]Where's the freedom of speech?
[27:58]You see the ones that say we have freedom of speech, they
[28:03]are the ones that are taking away freedom of speech.
[28:04]When it comes to the right of travel, we mentioned that traveling
[28:11]and free movement is a human right today.
[28:12]You see how many thousands of families are being separated and even
[28:18]it's going on here in Michigan as well.
[28:21]families are separated where the mother and the father they're being sent
[28:23]back and the children are being separated from their parents because Trump
[28:28]has unleashed ICE to come in the cities and take away people
[28:32]only because of a different passport that they carry.
[28:36]That's the only difference.
[28:36]Otherwise, this is the same human being.
[28:39]This is the same hardworking human being.
[28:41]This is the same person that contributes to society just as everyone
[28:45]else.
[28:46]But because you don't have a paper, then you have to be
[28:48]separated from your family and you have to live a miserable life.
[28:52]The right to earth's resources.
[28:55]Today, you see there's a monopoly on earth's resources.
[28:58]But my dear brothers and sisters, when it comes to all of
[29:03]the suffering that we are seeing and today in these days, we
[29:05]are in the anniversary.
[29:08]A year ago, a great tragedy took place.
[29:11]a great man who defended his country and defended his people and
[29:17]stood against the tyrants of his time.
[29:20]For 40 years, he defended his people.
[29:22]We are in the one-year anniversary of his loss.
[29:25]And a lot of people ask why is it that we see
[29:31]all of this suffering continuing and continuing?
[29:33]When is it going to stop?
[29:35]But my dear brothers and sisters, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tests the
[29:42]and life is a test.
[29:43]We know that we submit to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and we
[29:48]know that we are in a test and in a test we
[29:49]have to expect hardship.
[29:51]In a test we have to expect discomfort.
[29:55]You can't expect to have it all easy.
[29:58]Otherwise where's the reward?
[29:59]Otherwise where is the value in the test that we are going
[30:02]through?
[30:02]We have to constantly remind ourselves that we are being tested and
[30:07]the and the victory and the Allah subhana wa ta'ala has promised
[30:14]it to the and we are beginning to see the victory now.
[30:17]We are beginning to see it even in the most difficult times.
[30:22]You will be able to see the silver lining.
[30:26]And this is why a mmin should always have a positive attitude.
[30:29]A mu should always look at the positive side of any situation.
[30:33]Whatever happens, always look at the positive side.
[30:37]This is what we learned from the B say she saw her
[30:42]own brother Im Hussein killed and she tells Zin, don't let what
[30:44]you see right now break you because this place is going to
[30:49]be a place of guidance for millions of people.
[30:52]Just wait.
[30:53]Just have that patience.
[30:54]And today we are beginning to see it.
[30:57]Just a few days ago, we saw how the tide is beginning
[31:02]to work.
[31:03]The the tide is beginning to turn and the world is awakening.
[31:06]Just a few days ago, you have countries that acknowledged the existence
[31:12]of the state of Palestine.
[31:13]This was something that you would not have imagined.
[31:16]This was something that you would not have dreamed of.
[31:22]But it it's happening now.
[31:22]It's happening.
[31:24]the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Australia along with 160 countries.
[31:31]They are acknowledging Palestine as a state and this is something that
[31:34]you would not have imagined happened especially by the United Kingdom.
[31:37]They are the ones who initiated this whole mess.
[31:40]Now they are realizing their mistake and they are the ones who
[31:44]are acknowledging that a state of Palestine exists.
[31:49]Today, the nations that enabled this aggression just two years ago, now
[31:54]they are calling it a genocide.
[31:55]The very same nations, with the exception of America, because America is
[32:00]fully dominated and controlled by Zionists.
[32:04]But other countries in Europe and other places, they're waking up and
[32:10]they're seeing the reality.
[32:10]Today you see western countries in for example Spain and Italy now
[32:18]they're sending they're sending their ar they're sending a destroyer or a
[32:22]ship to protect the flotillaa that is sending aid and trying to
[32:27]break the se siege in Gaza.
[32:28]This is something you would never have imagined.
[32:31]So my dear brothers and sisters we see that there's a silver
[32:35]lining.
[32:36]Netanyahu who used to travel freely now to come to the United
[32:39]Nations he has to go through different countries because he is afraid
[32:44]he's going to get arrested and one day inshallah he will get
[32:48]arrested.
[32:48]This is the reality my dear brothers and sisters Allah subhanana wa
[32:53]ta'ala has promised the victory but you have to wait.
[32:58]You have to wait and you have to continue defending the h
[33:01]and defending the truth and defending the basic human rights of everyone
[33:06]out there no matter what religion they subscribe to.
[33:21]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to to bless you all.
[33:28]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to accept our duas, our deeds
[33:34]and we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to change the evil that
[33:39]we are seeing right now.
[33:39]Change it into something positive.
[33:42]I mentioned this a few weeks ago when he goes to the
[33:49]people of they started throwing rocks at at the holy prophet and
[33:53]they were abusing the prophet Allah did not do a dua against
[33:56]them.
[33:56]He did not ask ask to see instant results.
[33:59]He said I ask Allah that from their children the truth will
[34:04]come out and their children will be believers.
[34:05]And this is what happened.
[34:09]Allah ultimately became victorious.
[34:10]My dear brothers and sisters, we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
[34:16]bless you all.
[34:15]Let us raise our hands in dua.
[34:35]Amen.
