[0:03][Music] yay bismillah respected brothers and sisters and dearest viewers wherever you
[0:37]may be insha allah keeping safe and you are fasting inshallah we'll
[0:41]be having our third q and a with dr said aman nakshawani
[0:45]today but we're going to be doing something a little bit different
[0:47]because a lot of you have been asking for a general q
[0:51]a a lot of you been asking for just general questions sending
[0:53]into the whatsapp messages calling in uh so inshallah we're going to
[0:57]do one question on the topic of death related to the first
[1:01]twenty three nights of dr said amanda on his lectures and the
[1:04]second question followed by uh a general question in sha allah but
[1:08]do keep sending in your messages these phones are not you know
[1:13]dying down they they're still going and uh inshallah your questions will
[1:18]be answered but without further ado a q a with doctor said
[1:24]he says we're going to start with a question on death the
[1:34]topic that you discussed uh the first 23 nights so it says
[1:38]uh we come across a variety of shia muslims and some of
[1:44]us are practicing the religion on a basic level i.e or sort
[1:47]of deen plus photo id and some to a higher extent towards
[1:51]the most and more practicing towards the teachings of the bait my
[1:55]question is being on the basic level can we achieve genna or
[1:59]does it have to mean we achieve the higher extent beyond the
[2:04]basics to guarantee mohammed well i think the way it's phrased there's
[2:12]something that needs to be understood and that is where you reach
[2:19]in the hereafter reflects your struggles your wisdom and your love for
[2:31]your lord in this world you cannot complain in the hereafter about
[2:35]where you've reached because the reality is that in this world you
[2:40]have many opportunities to continuously grow the religion of islam has so
[2:45]many different ways in which it's able to develop in which it's
[2:50]able to grow and help develop the human being there are ways
[2:56]in which a person may develop spiritually and theologically and ethically and
[3:00]no doubt the basis of all of these is a person gaining
[3:05]more and more knowledge through gaining more and more knowledge you continuously
[3:11]grow you cannot expect that because i'm someone who loves elves i'm
[3:15]just a basic person i do the basics there's a lot who
[3:17]live in that world of i do the basics and i do
[3:22]the basics it's not a bad world but don't get stuck in
[3:26]the rut of i do the basics you know how you have
[3:27]people say that i pray i fast and that's it really do
[3:34]you read any books no so why aren't you reading books why
[3:39]aren't you developing your knowledge why aren't you studying the seer of
[3:45]the prophet sallallahu alaihi you find that a person has to reflect
[3:53]on themselves and imam assad would always tell us that no two
[4:00]days should be the same my next day should be better than
[4:03]the previous one if my two days are exactly the same salah
[4:07]five times a day and i read a couple of supplications after
[4:14]the salah and i read a sword of the quran like ya
[4:17]seen the next time let me try and open other sword of
[4:21]the quran ya seen is not the only sword in the quran
[4:24]there's 114 soras let me try and open other soar yeah and
[4:29]other edges which maybe i don't normally open or i don't normally
[4:35]read and these will help my development so when a person says
[4:39]well i'm just going to do the basics and that's it it's
[4:43]not about doing basics it's about the mentality the mentality has to
[4:47]be a mentality where i'm constantly yearning to gain more knowledge to
[4:52]gain more wisdom to be illuminated with more ma refer and there's
[4:57]so much illumination to be had and so much illumination to be
[5:00]shared so that mindset where i just need to tick the boxes
[5:05]and that's it let's get out of that mindset there should be
[5:08]a constant development in our character a constant development in our relationship
[5:11]with our lord and then at the end we'll see what the
[5:16]exam results are ah now uh for the general question uh this
[5:20]one comes from sister sarah she says i have a question for
[5:23]said ammar on the topic on when we can uh when can
[5:28]we refuse or agree to use the ventilator um so as we
[5:31]heard in the lectures if the doctors say that the ventilator can
[5:36]cure the patient we have to agree to use it on the
[5:39]patient so once family has agreed on the basis that it may
[5:42]cure the patient goes on the ventilator but there is no change
[5:44]in his or her condition what happens then can the family ask
[5:50]for the ventilator to be taken off no according to ayatollah may
[5:55]allah lengthen his life you are not allowed to have the withdrawal
[6:02]of that ventilator once that medical apparatus or equipment is being applied
[6:09]or used in relation to the patient now we hear the mention
[6:16]that this ventilator is there for cure or is it there for
[6:20]comfort if it is there purely for comfort then withdrawal can take
[6:25]place however it is there for a cure and it's already being
[6:30]used then you cannot withdraw now this next question on death it
[6:38]says um it's difficult for me to convince others especially those who
[6:41]are much elder to me like our parents or relatives relatives about
[6:44]the importance of life after death and preparing for it in our
[6:49]culture it is considered quite disrespectful if we try to correct or
[6:54]guide anybody elder to us especially the topics related to islam let
[6:57]alone death they either don't want to listen or get seriously offended
[7:00]how do we approach such situations so that we can move towards
[7:04]allah subhanahu wa as a family well if you always feel that
[7:10]there are people in your family who don't necessarily listen to you
[7:15]at that moment don't give up and don't nag too much okay
[7:18]so on the one hand you have to realize that maybe it's
[7:21]not the right time to speak with them about such issues but
[7:24]on the other hand it's also not a time for you to
[7:26]give up um try maybe in another instance and another time to
[7:33]open the topic and the conversation and you never know you may
[7:38]think that they're neglecting that topic but they may actually be thinking
[7:40]about more than you think not everybody who speaks about something necessarily
[7:45]doesn't mean that they're thinking about it a lot or a little
[7:48]there are certain people who guard themselves or who are a bit
[7:53]more reserved in what they want to talk about so if you
[7:56]see for example you have an uncle and that uncle doesn't really
[8:00]open up too much about death or the day of judgment but
[8:05]you never know that when that uncle goes to sleep they may
[8:07]be thinking about it 24 7.
[8:08]they may prefer to listen from someone who's more of an expert
[8:14]than yourself on these issues and the other day this is part
[8:18]of you know human nature that sometimes you prefer that someone who's
[8:22]an expert on authority speaks to them about this topic rather than
[8:24]someone who they feel sometimes is younger and not an expert don't
[8:27]give up there's always the right time in sha allah pray for
[8:31]their guidance now this general question uh comes in and it says
[8:37]what is the difference between the deaths of the common people in
[8:41]comparison to the atheist are they athlete taken to jannah straight away
[8:47]yes so there's no doubt that there's a category of people who
[8:51]are taken to the agenda of baraz straight away this idea of
[8:58]being taken to the eternal paradise no you go to the jannah
[9:06]of yeah and that no doubt is reserved for saber those of
[9:19]the highest of the ones who supported the cause of their prophets
[9:24]like muhammad al-farahan al-assin and others who came to the call of
[9:30]their prophets when everybody else had given up on their prophet peace
[9:33]be on family likewise the shohada are also amongst those who have
[9:40]a special position where they go towards that jaina in the intermediary
[9:49]realm but then you have in terms of common when we say
[9:55]common majority of mankind 99.99999 of human history are the middle ground
[10:01]it's very rare in your life to come across someone as evil
[10:05]and tyrannical as pharaoh or as merciful and wonderful as the prophet
[10:10]muhammad or the prophet jesus son of mary 99.99 of people fall
[10:17]in the middle ground and for those people it varies while the
[10:21]squeezing of the grave may take place others may for example find
[10:26]that they wait for a growth of wisdom and a purification in
[10:31]that middle ground now this uh next question uh is coming in
[10:36]and it says how will the muslim sinners be purified in barzak
[10:40]if the sins are are many but the muslim has faith and
[10:45]hope in allah from qatar the muslim sinners if they are obstinate
[10:57]and have hate then it becomes a very difficult period in barzache
[11:09]and an extremely difficult period on the day of judgment a muslim
[11:16]sinner who may not have held on to the william or the
[11:21]imam of al muhammad sallallahu alaihi mah however had love for allah
[11:29]then there is a growth in their wisdom part of the purification
[11:36]process is a growth in one's wisdom and a growth in one's
[11:39]comprehension and an elevation in that period of barzach so it's not
[11:44]so much i've committed stealing and lying and adultery and all of
[11:48]these and then someone's going to come and wash me like a
[11:51]purgatory type no rather it's more of a case of a growth
[11:56]in one's wisdom upon meeting the angels in that realm remember we
[12:00]can't see the angels while we're here yeah we may meet angelic
[12:08]thai people like menhal we may for example meet devilish type people
[12:15]but for us to actually have that chance to meet the angels
[12:17]know when we do see the angels of course we see munkar
[12:23]and you see bashir mo bashar you may see roman fatah the
[12:29]there is a realization there of the realities of the dimensions that
[12:34]are coming but the main criteria i believe obstacles to al muhammad
[12:40]allah salam ah hatred versus love and respect that goes a long
[12:47]way for any muslim so if i see now in the muslim
[12:53]world a person out there who may not be of the shia
[12:57]but they love to make sure that they honor the births and
[13:02]the seerah of the alibaba you'll see them showing signs of mourning
[13:08]because you know there are some non-shia out there muharram ten nights
[13:12]there's no morning nothing at all he couldn't really care less he's
[13:16]like well you know i can narrate you the story of what
[13:19]happened to hussain he'll say blatantly hussein you know grandson the prophet
[13:24]we love him but there's no real mourning there's no real feeling
[13:27]and i'm not saying mourning has to be in a certain way
[13:30]it could just be in a way where you bring up your
[13:34]children to say for example to them that this is a sad
[13:38]occasion um so there are muslims out there for example you could
[13:41]go to india and pakistan and see people who are not shia
[13:43]but muharram for them there is a clear symbolic mourning process that
[13:51]takes place those people can hope insha allah for a continuous growth
[13:55]in bazaar and in the hereafter century now this next general question
[13:59]comes in from brother abbas from india he says my name is
[14:03]abbas and i'm from india my question is that are we supposed
[14:08]to get hajj done for our parents my father has not done
[14:10]hajj during his lifetime and passed away a few years ago of
[14:12]course hajj is one of the only acts that a person while
[14:21]they're alive can get someone to perform it for them [Music] and
[14:26]like salah or some someone can do it on their behalf after
[14:32]they have died you see if for example now i have missed
[14:38]my prayers yeah i miss six seven years of salah can i
[14:41]get someone to pray for me now while i'm alive no like
[14:45]can i get stand the camera man and say to him for
[14:51]example like saying bro i'll give you a grand if you pray
[14:53]six years of salah for me firstly no one gesten is probably
[14:59]gonna ask for 10 grand but secondly he's not gonna do it
[15:02]because six years of salah minhal is how how long is that
[15:07]five what five times three six five comes to like one thousand
[15:11]i don't know you know 125 times six you know you're coming
[15:15]to nine ten thousand we don't want to we don't want to
[15:19]go anywhere near there but what we do is we have someone
[15:21]who after we die there might be salatina for example hajj however
[15:25]if someone is alive and they really are in a very difficult
[15:30]situation physically they cannot go to hajj they can have someone to
[15:35]hajj on their behalf while they're alive but also after one dies
[15:40]of course they can have that member of their family like an
[15:45]eldest son to hajj on their behalf this question next question on
[15:49]death it says johnny please shed some light on the following if
[15:55]we if we will all be useful in the hereafter how will
[16:00]people be able to recognize other relatives if they have been born
[16:03]having never met that person in the worldly life for example a
[16:06]grandchild meaning a grandparent who passed away years before my name is
[16:14]siddhar least of your worries least of your worries is how you'll
[16:19]recognize your grandparents listen i i don't know what rasulullah it looks
[16:24]like and i hope that i can go and and chill with
[16:27]my great great great great grandfather and i'm sure on that day
[16:32]i'll realize what he looks like that should be the least of
[16:35]your worries recognizing how everybody looks like you'll be fine don't worry
[16:40]absent uh general question here salaam alaikum my name is fatima from
[16:42]india my question is whenever i listen to any majorities especially about
[16:46]imam ali alayhi salaam i question why i don't have that much
[16:52]love for him so the question pops up what can i do
[16:54]to increase my love for imam ali ali so so wait the
[17:00]sister saying i listened to majalis and i question why i don't
[17:05]have that much love for yeah so why i don't feel empathy
[17:08]basically it's normally the opposite normally you have people who [Music] who
[17:17]go crazy and listening to the remembrance of imam ali alaihis maybe
[17:23]the way certain lecturers maybe depict imam ali al-islam from where your
[17:31]context is might be an hour of just talking about one aspect
[17:35]of his life i know that some of the the kirin what
[17:40]they do is constantly there is no other discussion of anything else
[17:48]of imam ali's life but 10 nights and of course there's thousands
[17:54]of lessons to be learned but if that's all you're going to
[17:56]hear every time in india you're going to go to that lecture
[17:58]i think that's where the the questioner is from and you hear
[18:02]the same imam ali ahmad imam ali and markham okay but there's
[18:05]imam when it comes to the world of the natural sciences when
[18:10]it comes to the world of metaphysics when it comes to justice
[18:13]when it comes to governance when it comes to parenthood when it
[18:16]comes to youth when it comes to wisdom and tradition so maybe
[18:21]the angle that you are hearing on imam ali al-islam is the
[18:25]classic the whole ten nights maybe you should try and look into
[18:33]other areas where you will then be able to explore more of
[18:36]the magnificence of your mom now this next question on death it
[18:43]says salaam alaikum say that i look after my mom she's old
[18:46]and she has alzheimer's she she forgets i try to look after
[18:51]as much as i can she wakes up about five or six
[18:52]times at night my question is we say heaven is under the
[18:57]mum's feet but in your image this you keep saying the day
[18:59]of judgment no one will help you not your brother or sister
[19:03]mom or father so this doesn't enter my mind said jaad from
[19:08]peterborough uk no no when we say on the day of judgment
[19:13]no one can help you what we mean by that is that
[19:18]on that day you're gonna have to answer for your own actions
[19:22]someone who's looked after their mother and heaven is underneath the feet
[19:30]of the mother that person allah shines upon them light on the
[19:33]day of judgment because their obedience to their mother in turn his
[19:39]obedience to allah when we say that on that day your mother
[19:42]cannot help you or you'll be even separated from your children it
[19:47]means that don't get too attached to certain things which at the
[19:53]end of the day you're gonna have to answer for your own
[19:55]life and your own behavior you can't refer to them anymore and
[19:59]you can't hold on to them anymore but of course somebody who
[20:04]has been obedient and respectful to their mother in the pangs of
[20:07]death when it comes to saccharide mort they'll be able to say
[20:14]comfortably and on the day of judgment they'll be welcomed into heaven
[20:16]because of their obedience to their parents even in the world of
[20:22]barzach a person who taught their child bismillah rahim is given a
[20:28]higher position so let's alone that mother who has taught you to
[20:33]love muhammad so the context i think the brother has misunderstood the
[20:37]context isn't who cares about what you've done for your mom or
[20:41]who cares about your mom it's about not being in that situation
[20:43]where you think that everyone's going to speak on your behalf no
[20:46]it's your life your ahmad you have to answer for them accent
[20:51]this next general question says if i talk to a friend in
[20:56]confidence about my issues with my wife is that gossip and backbiting
[21:04]well the quran does want us to keep our secrets and it
[21:10]does talk about the wives of the prophet peace be upon him
[21:13]and his family and that the best of wives are the ones
[21:16]who are able to guard the secrets of the house but that
[21:20]doesn't prevent someone who may be in a very difficult situation for
[21:24]them to reach out for help remember back biting is an act
[21:32]which on many cases is seen as being an evil act but
[21:37]in certain cases has to be done and one of them is
[21:39]to speak out against someone unjust i cannot sit and watch a
[21:46]ruler who's unjust and say well i can't do reborn on him
[21:47]because he's you know he can't hear me no no i have
[21:52]to speak out i have to speak out in different gatherings and
[21:55]make sure people know about the injustices if your husband therefore is
[22:00]someone who's unjust then it's not reaber for you to speak to
[22:03]somebody about their injustice just be careful who you're speaking to why
[22:09]because who you are speaking to firstly are they a person of
[22:14]wisdom or not secondly are they somebody who may be themselves hurt
[22:18]from marital life and wants to see you hurt sometimes sometimes in
[22:27]life even getting advice from somebody who may have gone through a
[22:31]painful divorce can end up being painful for you because the venom
[22:34]that they have from their divorce or the venom that they have
[22:38]towards a particular gender and it can work both ways by the
[22:41]way they may take out and telling you don't listen get out
[22:45]as quick as you go and sometimes that advice may be unwise
[22:48]number three be careful that the person who you're asking for advice
[22:53]isn't like a bbc or a reuters you know there are some
[23:00]people their nickname is bbc nickname is bbc because they have the
[23:04]biggest mouth yeah they will tell everybody about everything have you heard
[23:09]have you heard about this person have you heard about that person
[23:13]have you heard that this happened have you heard those people they're
[23:18]known as the gossip merchants in the community and it could be
[23:23]anyone could be someone with a clerical guard and it could be
[23:27]someone normal yeah and they could be the type of person who
[23:29]wants to pry into everyone's life and just sits in these gatherings
[23:35]so a person has to be careful who they open up to
[23:37]but opening up about a piece of injustice that is taking place
[23:44]for example there are ladies out there domestically they're being abused they
[23:49]have no one to go speak to sometimes if they want to
[23:52]go and speak to their parents the parents will say to them
[23:56]that's your husband's house go back yeah and you let it go
[23:59]let it go let go until i swear in some cases suicides
[24:02]have happened in other cases people have fallen to severe bouts of
[24:09]depression because they never had anyone to open up to [Music] so
[24:13]on the one hand a person is able to open up about
[24:17]their difficulties but be careful the people you're opening up to are
[24:21]not those who may end up taking advantage of the situation by
[24:27]giving you advice that won't happen because you can have a situation
[24:30]where a person will tell you that listen try and still work
[24:34]at it and you may want them to give you another piece
[24:36]of advice but sometimes someone will tell you listen think of working
[24:39]are you sure are you sure you want to leave this are
[24:42]you sure you don't want to stay [Music] so a person has
[24:46]to be careful who they are asking i said now this uh
[24:49]next question coming uh about death uh this person wants to remain
[24:55]anonymous uh salams my question for saying would telbe really work for
[24:58]people like extremists in the sense that even if they did do
[25:03]these horrible sins could they still repent and get forgiven no no
[25:06]no no a person who a person whose nature has become evil
[25:12]is different from someone who's found the path what was the difference
[25:23]between them they were both commanders of the army of yazid at
[25:29]karbala what's the difference between the two differences one his nature had
[25:33]become evil the other was someone who had gone through a period
[25:39]of confusion misunderstanding if there is someone out there who is listening
[25:45]to people who are giving him misconceptions about another group of people
[25:48]that person is in a world of confusion misunderstanding okay the second
[25:52]type is the one who's just got venom against a group of
[25:57]people all they ever do is attack all they ever want to
[25:59]do is make videos of hate that is different from somebody who
[26:05]trusts such people but gets confused all might have been sad and
[26:09]people like this tour of tawba is not open for them for
[26:12]what reason because allah doesn't want people to be forgiven it's because
[26:16]they don't seek any more goodness and forgiveness the one who seeks
[26:20]forgiveness and repentance the door is always open for them otherwise that
[26:25]door on the tenth of muharram would not have been open for
[26:28]and not just many people assume that on the center muharram was
[26:34]the only one who changed his son the servant and maybe another
[26:41]27 went from the army of yazid this miraculous by the way
[26:46]why because have you ever seen a situation where there are 30
[26:48]000 on one side or let's say 10 000 even on one
[26:53]side and 72 on the other none of the 72 joined the
[26:57]10 000 and some of them joined the 72 knowing that certain
[27:02]death was going to happen but because they saw the principles and
[27:05]the soft heart of imam al-hussein and they were praising his grandfather
[27:09]in salah and they began to reflect that's and this is this
[27:13]is sadly what's missing in many muslims a lack of reflection yeah
[27:16]many muslims follow the path that their parents brought them up on
[27:26]no reflection they'll tell others who are non-muslim reflect how can you
[27:29]believe the trinity how can you not but when it comes to
[27:31]their religion you suddenly see them no reflection or they follow a
[27:36]certain way not because of the truth but because they were hurt
[27:38]by somebody so they follow another way to be vengeance for the
[27:44]person that hurt them not the principles of that other way so
[27:48]when you come and say to me therefore that if someone for
[27:52]example is an extremist extremist whose nature has become evil like that
[27:58]person who goes into a hospital in carbon what's this person now
[28:03]this person i guarantee there's a period they weren't a state of
[28:07]misunderstanding instead of confusion but then eventually they reached a level who
[28:11]will go into a hospital knowing that there are mothers who've given
[28:15]birth who have tried for years to have children who are from
[28:19]poverty stricken environments and blow it up or shoot people who does
[28:23]that young children such people unfortunately the doors of october are closed
[28:28]for them i sent santom said now we are going to go
[28:31]for a short break but when we do return we will return
[28:33]with a general question for said ahmad coming from the dear viewers

[30:37]double zero double four seven nine three double nine one seven one
[30:42]six three and one for saint tv your gateway to karbala and
[30:59]welcome back to this live q a live from london with doctor
[31:05]said taking in your general and your questions related to the topic
[31:09]of death which the sayyid discussed the first 23 nights of ramadan
[31:12]now saying that i was going through this question during the break
[31:15]and um you've said in previous episodes that you know seek forgiveness
[31:19]from the person you've backbit or you've wronged before they die or
[31:23]they don't that you can recite on monday but this one is
[31:27]from sister mahek fatima from india she says my question is if
[31:31]someone has wronged someone and asked for a lot of forgiveness and
[31:34]is repenting for it but that person they have wronged do not
[31:37]forgive them and only continues to remind them for their mistakes what
[31:42]is to be done i don't think you have to worry i
[31:45]think you've sought the forgiveness of the person it's a it's a
[31:49]higher spiritual state than someone who arrogantly says no i will not
[31:53]um go and ask someone for forgiveness it's below me we have
[31:58]people who yeah who are extremely arrogant that they know they've wronged
[32:03]someone they know they did the rebound someone they won't ask for
[32:10]forgiveness they won't the human being is an amazing creation i don't
[32:13]blame the angels when they said are you going to send someone
[32:16]who causes mischief and bloodshed i don't blame them because the human
[32:21]being can gain so many facts figures statistics but still have a
[32:28]soul of an animal you'll see them quote eyes of the quran
[32:35]yeah quote hadith left right and center but they don't have it
[32:40]because they have a marathon the kalb of the pure are those
[32:46]who reach the day of judgment with the khal that is salim
[32:48]there are those who reach the day of judgment with al-qaeda that
[32:52]is full of fear therefore you'll find that there are certain people
[33:02]who are too arrogant for them to say to somebody forgive me
[33:08]if i wronged you and they have wronged they have and they
[33:13]know they've wronged they know they backbeat they know they made fun
[33:17]they know they lowered the status of some jealousy has destroyed them
[33:21]and it's difficult for them to recover and we have that hadith
[33:25]envy devours faith like fire devours wood the envy has made them
[33:33]a human being whose rabies of spirituality spiritual rabies of diseases all
[33:39]over their body they're like a dog with rabies then you have
[33:44]however the human being who their heart is not full of morale
[33:50]they have a quality even when they have not said anything bad
[33:56]about you they'll ask for forgiveness yeah that person of course we
[34:04]must admit that it's not always a case a person has to
[34:08]give in there is a context to these things but that person
[34:12]has a certain level of purity that will be the envy of
[34:18]the people on the day of judgment because that person comes up
[34:20]to you and says listen if i've wronged you if i've wronged
[34:22]you forgive me and they may never have wronged you now the
[34:26]brother or sister here who's asking is saying that i've continuously asked
[34:30]this person for forgiveness but they haven't forgiven me there's a mercifulness
[34:43]shown to us by our lord and if we want to reach
[34:49]the highest level of spirituality then that is when we become the
[34:53]names of god walking on earth we try and follow those characteristics
[34:56][Music] we try and help people with mercy we try and show
[35:05]mercy allah is forgiving we try and forgive don't worry if you've
[35:08]gone up to someone ask what have we gonna say and they
[35:11]keep saying no no no no no let them answer their lord
[35:15]when their lord says you asked me for forgiveness and you couldn't
[35:17]forgive my creation but let us never reach a level where the
[35:22]word forgiveness is not part of our character yeah you know there
[35:29]are traditions within the school of eights amazing moments in their life
[35:33]and the life of their companions remember military companion of one day
[35:43]someone threw a noah malet you know the the date threw at
[35:48]him and ran away didn't know it was malik and when he
[35:53]realized it was how did he realize someone said to him do
[35:58]you know who just threw the date stones out he's like nah
[36:01]i don't know who that guy is he's like that's malik lesnar
[36:03]commander of alibaba zombie he went running looking for mighty esther forgiveness
[36:09]and miley goes to him don't worry i came to the mosque
[36:12]to pray two rock forgiveness for you look at that level malik
[36:18]was to me like i was to rasulullah those are the people
[36:24]we should try and emulate i this next question on death it
[36:34]says my mother died in 2004 in france so for some administrative
[36:36]reasons i have to exumate her body and bring it to the
[36:41]u.s where i currently live i got the permission from my major
[36:44]to do so my issue is not so much legal but about
[36:45]what will happen in balazar for my mother as the body is
[36:49]being transferred by airplane etc knowing that there is a possibility that
[36:53]the coffin be open and the body is transferred to another coffin
[36:56]olivier from miami no worry as in within the school of albeit
[37:00]not only the legality can be seen with ourselves and the maliki's
[37:05]when it comes to the examination of a grave but likewise do
[37:08]not worry a person who has died as a moral person who
[37:15]has not shown hate to the prophet or his family that person
[37:17]in sha allah will be looked after do not worry absent now
[37:20]this next general question comes in from uh brother bilal he says
[37:23]salaam my name is bilal i'm a sunni and i just want
[37:27]to say to say that you are doing a great work may
[37:29]allah protect you from your my question is that what can one
[37:34]do to have their child love the bait instead of allowing them
[37:41]to praise the killers of their bait repeat that again sorry what
[37:45]can one do so what can one do when you're calling them
[37:48]to the to love the athletes you're calling them to love their
[37:53]little babe yes and they are praising the instead of allowing them
[37:57]to praise the killers of the athlete no no no at the
[38:05]end of the day you bring up your children with the love
[38:10]of muhammad al muhammad sallallahu alaihi mah this is rational that you
[38:15]will not love albeit and love those who fought a lil bait
[38:20]yeah it's pretty stupid i think for a person to love the
[38:23]killer and the killed i think that's that's a sign of stupidity
[38:27]yeah um ignorance um or maybe they love a little bait because
[38:35]they think that they're obliged to if it was their choice at
[38:42]jamel they would have been on a different side okay or if
[38:44]it was their choice that's something they'd be with someone else but
[38:46]then they're thinking all done if i say that i would have
[38:51]been with tal hanzo that means i'm fighting i live in italy
[38:55]but i suppose we have to also show that we love alibaba
[38:58]talibs so the best way out is to blame some random jew
[39:03]so so you know you've got people who are like that but
[39:05]for us the way we look at is that no we love
[39:10]muhammadan and the enemies of al-muhammad we view them as the enemies
[39:15]of truth the enemies of justice and that's why we despise them
[39:20]i think in pakistan or they say okay which means lana on
[39:28]the enemies of alibaba i think all muslims can agree on this
[39:32]line on the enemies of muhammad al muhammad i don't think there's
[39:37]a muslim who will say no a person who's an enemy of
[39:40]a lady you have to still love them if they do they
[39:41]got problems yeah uh now this next general question is coming in
[39:45]from australia it says i'm a university student and we are very
[39:50]diverse here in australia i have a lot of sunni friends and
[39:51]one day one asked me a question which i'm still trying to
[39:55]work out our topic was on the first two caliphs my friend
[39:58]asked me if the two caliphs who you shias disregard were bad
[40:01]personalities then how are they blessed to have been buried near the
[40:04]prophet criteria of where you're buried is not necessarily a signifier of
[40:14]your greatness um [Music] at the end of the day imam never
[40:22]thought of buried thousands of miles away from the prophet does that
[40:23]mean he's thousands of miles of spirituality away from rasulallah if you're
[40:30]going to use that type of analogy he's buried where imam ali
[40:34]okay is buried thousands of miles away from medina does that mean
[40:42]he's not close to his grandfather the prophet peace be upon his
[40:45]family okay those who are buried near the prophet peace be upon
[40:54]us in his laws has allowed that there is inheritance for the
[41:03]widow widow will get 1 8 of what of the inheritance the
[41:15]daughter of umar was the widow of the holy prophet peace be
[41:18]upon him so that area that they have their fathers are buried
[41:28]in although if one eighth is normally that which is a portion
[41:34]to the widow but if we say there were nine wives one
[41:36]eighth times one ninth is one over seventy two yeah so really
[41:41]it shouldn't only be for them however if a person's criteria is
[41:46]that how close you are to the prophet is determined to where
[41:50]you're buried then let them live by that criteria i really you
[41:53]know it doesn't really interest me at all that's insane uh now
[41:58]this question uh by brother montalder jaffar from london he says when
[42:04]we ask to be raised from our graves to help the imam
[42:08]imam ahead does that mean our barzakh time is cut short how
[42:14]could that fit in the journey of the death i don't think
[42:19]it's anything too great for allah to cut someone's time short at
[42:24]any stage okay if allah wants to cut your life short he'll
[42:28]cut it today and if allah wants to cut your life one
[42:31]trumpet and it's done and if allah wants to cut the day
[42:36]of judgment and its length for you he'll cut it people ask
[42:40]that in this was mentioned that you know raised me from my
[42:47]grave with my sword aloft an idea that certain members of humanity
[42:54]who have died are raised alive before the day of judgment the
[42:59]way for example jesus son of mary was able to raise the
[43:05]dead and make them alive alaihissalam or jose rises from the dead
[43:10]this idea can be seen in discussions concerning the rajah the finer
[43:18]details of the certainly our difference of opinion but the belief in
[43:21]dharaja is certainly them and mata you find in the traditions that
[43:30]the traditions can be seen from the imams of salawat allah talking
[43:39]about araja whoever doesn't believe in our is not one of us
[43:54][Music] another of the lines that we recite so some who believe
[44:06]in the raj i believe that certain people have died and if
[44:08]allah wants to then all of a sudden your time from that
[44:11]badazi period is time for you to come back the same people
[44:15]from bazaar can come and visit us in our houses what stops
[44:17]them from coming to serve in imam the same people in barzah
[44:21]were allowed according to certain opinions to help the prophet peace be
[44:24]upon his family on the day of better how were they allowed
[44:27]when the quran says that we aided you with unseen forces they
[44:30]were allowed to leave the world of bars to come likewise this
[44:32]can be done now this general question is a very interesting because
[44:37]i think a lot of people are affected by this one um
[44:40]it says can you please tell me if i owe money to
[44:45]someone but i can't find that person or locate him what can
[44:49]i do yes there are there are certain cases where this takes
[44:57]place and again it depends on the person is alive or they've
[45:00]passed away do you feel that one has been done on them
[45:04]is there a normal scenario can you locate them you can't locate
[45:07]them there are all these different options that are given in some
[45:13]cases someone may have passed away you feel that you have wronged
[45:15]them either you could go to their family members or the heirs
[45:19]of their estate and you make it clear that this is a
[45:22]certain amount of money that is owed there are certain executors of
[45:26]the estate or executors of the will a person can go back
[45:30]to you may also find a situation where you feel that you've
[45:33]wronged someone or if you may have wronged someone where that dull
[45:35]mother comes in and a certain amount of sadaqa is paid there
[45:39]may also be a situation where if you can't locate someone you
[45:43]may donate it towards charity so all of these are different methods
[45:47]which can be employed in sha allah said now this next question
[45:50]on death comes from um ifrah from lahore pakistan she says salaam
[45:56]sayyid we have always learned that men will get in paradise hold
[45:59]on iron in paradise uh if they are on the right path
[46:04]in this world how are the women rewarded in this perspective in
[46:08]the afterlife i think you know sister like i mentioned um the
[46:11]man and the uh woman the male and the female the husband
[46:16]and the wife become more beautiful than any hoary that you'll ever
[46:20]see because the light of the iman means that they look absolutely
[46:24]stunning over there and if it is a case that you for
[46:30]example may say well i unfortunately was not able to get hitched
[46:33]in this world then allah subhanahu ta'ala can create for your partner
[46:39]there and likewise for the man as well the same lord who
[46:43]created for adam's sons to get married at the beginning of creation
[46:46]from true whori's according to some opinions likewise allah can create and
[46:52]you can say kon feiyakun i sent now uh this one says
[46:57]this is a general one it says salaam said i am muhammad
[47:02]from london do i have to perform after i've performed was the
[47:05]janabe after committing a haram act now the moment you perform janab
[47:11]then a person does not need to do there are certain if
[47:18]they are widespread then you don't do although there are certain russells
[47:22]which when you come to them even if they are muslim you
[47:27]don't do with allah so for example in the opinion of our
[47:32]lama such as ayatollah may allah you'll find that they say to
[47:51]us on the 23rd night of the holy month of ramadan when
[47:53]a person does a hustle which is mustahab for laylat then they
[47:59]do not need to do although okay the hustle which is mustahab
[48:03]for laylatul a person would not need to do well you have
[48:12]for example in the opinions of some of the clearly when they
[48:16]say that that is insufficient a person doesn't need to do it
[48:22]a person does not need to do although they've done that someone
[48:27]asks that what if i had an ear to go and have
[48:36]a shower and when i had that near to go and have
[48:40]the shower for janab okay but when i went inside and had
[48:50]the shower i forgot to do the shower and the tatty before
[48:54]and you'll find that some of the marajas say it's sufficient that
[48:56]before you entered the shower your knee was already what to do
[49:01]i was going to do the rosso love generally okay because sometimes
[49:05]some people what they do is they go into the shower they
[49:09]have a good wash they come back out and you're like i
[49:13]forgot to wash my head and then do the right side and
[49:16]then do the left side and now i've dried up and i've
[49:19]put the gel and the and the you know moisturizer and deodorant
[49:23]and now i have to go go back in there again no
[49:27]no your knee at the beginning was why are you going in
[49:30]for a shower why because of gennady okay and do make sure
[49:36]my dear brothers and sisters that before we get to fajr in
[49:38]the holy month of ramadan do make sure that you have purified
[49:47]yourself before it is too late inshallah accent now this question on
[49:50]death it says salaam alaikum are we allowed to pray for a
[49:55]non-muslim relative during their life and when they have passed away for
[50:00]their forgiveness and their ease in the grave of course of course
[50:02]sometimes muslims have to be less pedantic and have to open up
[50:07]their hearts a person who was not an enemy of the religion
[50:11]a person who was a good human being you see it's different
[50:16]when we're talking about someone who was a mun hypocrite with hate
[50:21]of islam and fighting so that's a different story we talk about
[50:25]the fact that we have converts whose parents are some of the
[50:28]most wonderful people you'll meet really they are godly people on earth
[50:32]yeah they may not recite the kalima they may not be in
[50:36]the massage but i'll tell you what as imam alayhi sallam said
[50:41]give me one of muhammad i'll give you nine or ten of
[50:46]mine believe me the type of people that we have in our
[50:53]communities in some cases negative how do i fight how do i
[50:58]attack who do i slander who's next we have to put down
[51:00]who shall we make a video about next whereas you find some
[51:08]non-muslims such good human beings peaceful and i'm saying non-muslims only because
[51:11]of them not uttering the shahada otherwise the way they are living
[51:17]is the way and many of us saw this when we came
[51:19]here in contrast to where we were before so someone whose non-muslim
[51:25]relatives have passed of course they can recite and inshallah they can
[51:29]be an intercessor for them on the day of judgment now this
[51:33]next general question uh salaam alaikum said i am 27 years 27
[51:38]years old from karachi um i'm really sad because i'm single and
[51:43]i'm asked one say there for marriage who's divorced and six years
[51:46]older than me but she's refusing saying razi you are a non-saiyad
[51:51]my intention was that it's sunnah to marry an elder and divorced
[51:55]but i'm very much unmotivated now kindly guide me yeah don't be
[52:02]unmotivated because of uh relationships you're going to be up and down
[52:07]in the world of relationships you're going to see the best of
[52:10]the best you're going to see moments which are difficult don't my
[52:13]dear brother razzie be feel too deflated there are things which are
[52:17]much worse than a girl saying no no why is she saying
[52:22]no because she says she's a saiyada and you're not that's her
[52:26]own opinion and that is her own want in life maybe if
[52:31]a girl is a saiyada and she wants to marry i say
[52:35]it that's up to her you know why should anyone stop her
[52:38][Music] if you're stopping her as parents because you feel that the
[52:46]boy for example is not right for her that's one thing but
[52:50]if you're stopping her from getting married to him because he's not
[52:55]as say yet and that's your only reason then that's not right
[53:00]that's not a person can go to refer to the maraja and
[53:02]ask them this question go and ask allah bashir and najafi this
[53:07]question that i have someone who is not a saiyan who wants
[53:11]to marry my daughter who it haram if i give my daughter
[53:18]to him and he'll say to you what do you mean is
[53:20]it hara but this person is a shia or a shiite there's
[53:26]no issue and they say but we want to continue the line
[53:29]and lineage and the descendant and the nestle of fatherhood don't worry
[53:34]your lord will look after it you know the kotha will continue
[53:39]forever yeah now this next question is about death uh when you
[53:46]say the dead visit us where do they go and whom do
[53:48]they visit in this case of my home being my father and
[53:52]his wife and kids being in a different place no no different
[53:56]places nothing to worry about they can go anywhere wherever allah wills
[54:01]they are able to visit their family maybe once a week at
[54:09]the minimum once on a friday a week minimum some twice a
[54:11]week some three times a week don't worry about it there are
[54:17]ways in which they will come and visit you can be in
[54:20]dubai you can be in karachi when they get to that stage
[54:22]of bazaar they're chilling to move around everywhere in china they don't
[54:26]need a flight ticket nah they'll be fine okay this next general
[54:30]question says my name is farida i'm from london my question is
[54:34]if i took a loan from someone a long time before and
[54:37]i cannot find them now to return the money oh what what
[54:42]should i do in this case i think we've already answered that
[54:45]yes yeah we have so this next one uh i have read
[54:49]that on the day of judgment any debt we have uh occurred
[54:50]with people can be held against us we might lose our place
[54:53]in jannah another source says only believers can lay such a claim
[54:58]what do you say and know about this topic thank you so
[55:02]much also i have debts with people who have sep who have
[55:05]separated and live around the world i don't have a lot of
[55:08]money or else i'd have paid them back advice s from poland
[55:15]having a debt on one's shoulders is one of the most difficult
[55:22]things anyone can go through there are two types of people one
[55:24]type other type who have a debt but have no intention of
[55:28]paying back yeah and the second type our type who have a
[55:31]debt they want to pay back but the world is just not
[55:35]straightening out for them and things are becoming extremely difficult for them
[55:40]that's where we hope more members of our community can help with
[55:46]that yeah a godly loan to try and help some of these
[55:48]never ever reach a level where you think that i have a
[55:54]debt with some people but you know what because i love the
[55:56]prophet and i love the lil baits and i love the quran
[56:01]then that is going to be enough for me it doesn't matter
[56:03]i don't need to pay anyone back no these have to be
[56:07]sorted out because even the shaheed with his high standing in the
[56:10]eyes of allah if he has a debt it will cause him
[56:13]a difficulty even if he died in the way of allah with
[56:16]a debt it will cause me difficulty the main thing is that
[56:19]you work on trying and sometimes my dear brothers and sisters it's
[56:23]not about if you owe someone a thousand pounds you don't have
[56:26]to give them a lump sum of a thousand give them 50
[56:29]pounds a month and within 20 it's done yeah some people when
[56:35]they owe someone a thousand wait i don't actually have that give
[56:39]50 pounds repay slowly show that there is a need to repay
[56:44]otherwise banza is a problem qiyam has a problem and yes while
[56:51]i have read a tradition where the prophet looks after that which
[56:54]is owed by his followers that is not one to be used
[56:58]as an excuse there are some who use this as an excuse
[57:01]to say well i've read the hadith that the prophet peace be
[57:04]upon his family on the day of judgment he'll look after the
[57:06]jews of his shia no no rasulallah doesn't want us to be
[57:11]people we take people's money what's the longest ayah in the holy
[57:13]quran i'm going to ask you if you know how to answer
