[0:00]can I talk when the Holy Quran is being played or recited

[0:05]some people like to play the Holy Quran in the background when

[0:09]they're working or doing something or even when having a shower whilst

[0:15]this is fine are we then allowed to speak or Converse whilst

[0:18]the Quran is being played or recited Allah States in chapter 7

[0:23]verse 204 where is when the Quran is recited listen to it

[0:30]and be silent so that you attain Allah's Mercy this means we

[0:34]should listen to the Quran and not talk during its recitation however

[0:38]many of the ulama have stated that this is recommended and not

[0:44]watch it's not Haram to talk when the Quran is being played

[0:47]but certainly not recommended to engage in a conversation at that time

[0:51]the Quran deserves attention and respect and hence we should be wary

[0:55]of treating it like anything else being played in the background
