[0:34]Alhamdulillah.
[1:14]Love Muhammad.
[1:41]Say seen.
[2:21]Yeah.
[2:43]for What?
[3:50]ayah number 11 and 12 of discusses six things that Allah subhanahu
[3:58]wa ta'ala says to the do not do them.
[4:04]These six things we should be staying away from so that we
[4:10]can have a healthy community.
[4:13]Yeah.
[4:13]This is about the of the interaction with the community.
[4:19]How do we interact in the society with people?
[4:21]Six things Allah subhana wa ta'ala says stay away from.
[4:27]What are they?
[4:29]Allah says first a group should not be making fun of another
[4:38]group or belittling them, ridiculing them, thinking that we are better than
[4:49]them.
[4:46]There is no standards of better except as we will see in
[4:52]the next ayah inshallah.
[4:54]And is something that cannot be seen by us.
[4:57]It's something from the heart.
[5:01]And since we cannot see what's in the heart, then we don't
[5:03]know who is the closest to Allah amongst us.
[5:07]This is a beautiful verse.
[5:08]If you look at the companions of you have Bal who was
[5:16]an African man.
[5:18]He was the of you had Salman a Persian man.
[5:24]He was B of usb and you had Arabs like for example
[5:30]Mdad who were from Yemen originally Abu Dafi the prophet sallallahu alaihi
[5:38]did not differentiate between people based on their skin color or because
[5:45]of their Arabs non-Arabs etc.
[5:46]rather he treated everyone based on their dignity and status before Allah
[5:51]subhanahu wa ta'ala and this bilal who was an African man the
[6:02]after what happened after when the was taken away from he showed
[6:14]objection and the way He showed objection was to say I will
[6:20]not recite the adan anymore and they asked him why not he
[6:27]gave an excuse he said that you know what after I can't
[6:30]recite the adan it's too difficult for me to recite the adan
[6:35]and that's how he withdrew himself from reciting the adan but that
[6:39]was his way of saying I do not approve of this leadership
[6:42]and that was a big thing big for him not to recite
[6:49]the adan after that was a big deal and one time requested
[6:57]him she said yeah I wish to hear your voice reciting the
[7:03]adan once so he fulfilled the command of Zaham she's asking him
[7:10]so he says yes he goes he says Allahbar But when he
[7:20]saysham she shouts and faints and cries in pain.
[7:34]So they tell him bilal stop otherwise I say the zak will
[7:38]die from hearing the name of her father and the pain that
[7:42]was inflicted upon her and then what he did was he withdrew
[7:45]himself he left Medina altogether and he went outside he's buried now
[7:51]in sham and why he went to sham we don't really know
[7:53]why but it seems that he wanted to stay away from these
[7:59]people so He looked at the people based on their tawa and
[8:06]we cannot do that.
[8:09]We don't judge who's more than somebody else.
[8:10]Therefore, we cannot say I am better than so and so.
[8:15]I come from this family.
[8:15]I come from that family.
[8:19]It doesn't work that way brothers and sisters.
[8:22]It's good for a person to be mashallah proud of his family
[8:24]and no problem.
[8:27]That's good.
[8:26]But what's going to save us on the day of judgment?
[8:31]not our family, it's our our deeds.
[8:35]Allah says there is not relationships between them on that day.
[8:41]Everyone comes with his own his own deeds.
[8:45]So Allah says don't make fun of any community or any group
[8:59]of people and then Allah subhana wa ta'ala specifies and women should
[9:10]not be doing this either.
[9:11]more specifically don't say wall you know what I am better than
[9:15]her who is she to do whatever she's trying to do and
[9:19]so on so forth sometimes this kind of conversation happens unfortunately in
[9:25]the community and we hear it and it causes sometimes rifts in
[9:28]the community brothers and sisters let's make sure that we respect people
[9:32]to the best of our ability it is said one day a
[9:38]man comes for salat jama There is an imam praying jama in
[9:43]the masjid.
[9:45]And this man comes he from his dress and attire appears to
[9:49]be like one of those simple farmers you know from the outsides
[9:55]from the farmers.
[9:54]He's kind of dressed like that.
[10:00]He comes and then usually the first row behind the imam is
[10:04]left for the people who are for example people who have some
[10:11]status those they usually come first.
[10:12]This man came and stood right behind the imam.
[10:15]Okay.
[10:16]So people were like you know who is this guy you know
[10:20]with his but whatever like he's coming and standing right behind the
[10:23]imam.
[10:24]All right fine.
[10:23]Okay.
[10:24]So they let it go.
[10:28]Halfway through the salat, they're praying.
[10:29]This man then changes his from to and he finishes his salat
[10:37]on his own and he gets up and sits on the corner.
[10:39]So people, you know, after the salat, the imam hears some, you
[10:44]know, people are talking and there's some stuff going on behind him.
[10:47]So he turns around, he says, "What's the matter?" He said, "Molana,
[10:49]you know, look at this man.
[10:51]First of all, look at the way he is.
[10:53]Look at him.
[10:54]You know, he comes and he stands right behind you in theat
[10:58]and then halfway through he changes his knee to and then he
[11:05]goes and he sits in the corner there.
[11:06]What?
[11:05]What is this?
[11:07]The imam says, "Okay guys, guys, just calm down.
[11:10]Let's let's check.
[11:13]Let's ask him." So the imam goes and asks him.
[11:17]He says, "What's the matter?
[11:18]Can we help you with anything?
[11:21]Is there a problem?" He says, "Do you want me to say
[11:23]it in front of the people or privately between you and I?"
[11:27]He said, "Say what?" You can go ahead and say it.
[11:32]He says, "I came to pray behind you.
[11:35]Halfway through the salat, you started thinking that, oh, I am getting
[11:44]old as I walk for the imat." It's now taking me a
[11:54]little bit of a challenge becoming difficult for me to walk for
[11:59]what I need to do is maybe I need to go to
[12:02]the market and buy myself a donkey you know so that I
[12:09]can ride a donkey it will be easier for me to come
[12:13]for salat and then your mind started going to the market of
[12:15]the donkeys which donkey am I going to buy and all this
[12:20]in the middle of the I said what kind of Imam is
[12:22]this?
[12:21]What kind of salat are we praying here?
[12:23]So I changed my nia to and I prayed myself and then
[12:29]he said and he goes and he leaves and people like this
[12:35]guy was of he was one of the he knew what the
[12:41]imam was thinking in the middle of the salat even though he's
[12:43]dressed so simple maybe he was a farmer but he was Allah
[12:49]subhana wa ta'ala gave him this ability So, as I mentioned last
[12:56]night, don't look at someone.
[12:57]We don't know who is closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[13:02]That someone who might come to the maj not dressed with the
[13:05]most fancy dress, the simplest of dresses, he or she may be
[13:09]the one who's closest to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[13:11]We don't know because we don't see what's in the heart.
[13:15]And that's why the Quran says don't make fun of people because
[13:17]they may be better than you.
[13:21]You don't know.
[13:20]So women also don't make fun of other ladies because they may
[13:24]be better than you.
[13:25]Okay?
[13:26]So that's the first thing.
[13:26]Don't ridicule a group of people.
[13:29]Don't make fun of them.
[13:32]Don't humiliate them just because they come from this city.
[13:35]You know sometimes there is rivalries in some countries in some areas
[13:38]you know we are from this city they're from that city.
[13:42]You know this like we're higher class they're lower class that city.
[13:45]Who cares?
[13:47]You know, at the end of the day, like I said, Salman,
[13:49]he came from Persia, but Subhan Allah, he's of us.
[13:54]So, it doesn't matter what city, what tribe, what so on so
[13:59]forth.
[13:57]So, that's what we have to start to grow out of to
[14:02]really start to discipline ourselves.
[14:04]That's one.
[14:06]Two, Allah subhana wa ta'ala says don't talk.
[14:13]Quran beautifully says don't talk about yourselves.
[14:16]What does it mean?
[14:17]How can I talk about it's not about yourself talking about others
[14:22]but because we are and we're brothers.
[14:24]When you put down someone else it's as if you're putting who?
[14:27]Your own self down.
[14:29]That's something we have to be careful of.
[14:32]You're putting yourself down.
[14:36]Okay.
[14:34]Imagine for example, for example, if I go in front of uh
[14:40]people who are not Muslims and I say, you know what, the
[14:41]other day I go to my mosque and there are people who
[14:45]do this and this and this and this at my mosque, for
[14:48]example.
[14:47]Okay?
[14:48]And I'm saying this to some non-Muslim.
[14:50]Now, what what kind of impression is this man now getting about
[14:57]Muslims?
[14:56]What impression?
[14:57]And am I not a Muslim myself?
[14:58]So, what impression am I giving him of myself as a Muslim?
[15:04]I'm thinking I'm talking about people at the mosque, but I'm actually
[15:07]criticizing my own self.
[15:07]Now, do you guys understand this?
[15:09]So, this is how important it is.
[15:12]Be careful, brothers and sisters.
[15:15]Quran says don't put down yourself.
[15:16]And I mentioned this yesterday and the day before.
[15:18]You have a problem with someone, go talk to him directly, face
[15:21]to face.
[15:23]And try not to send messages because sometimes the tone is not
[15:29]read in the message.
[15:29]Person cannot read your tone.
[15:31]You may be coming from a really peaceful mindset but that person
[15:35]reads it from an aggressive mindset and might create problems.
[15:38]So always be respectful, kind, go to the people respectfully, talk to
[15:43]them about the issues and that's why Quran says don't put downselves.
[15:49]So that's two, three, don't call names and I hear this unfortunately
[15:58]all the time.
[16:00]ah these people this so and so you know these guys don't
[16:03]listen they are blah blah blah blah blah you know this we
[16:07]call sometimes people hypocrites we call them liars they're you can't be
[16:12]calling them these names okay okay well maybe they've done something that
[16:15]is not right we go educate them we educate them it doesn't
[16:18]mean that they've now become you know they've left religion altogether so
[16:24]Quran says do not call names to people that's not Good.
[16:31]Okay.
[16:29]So, these are three things.
[16:32]Now, here I will add even as a joke.
[16:35]Some people say I'm joking.
[16:36]No, don't joke like that.
[16:37]This is not a funny joke.
[16:40]Sometimes people say well we're friends together.
[16:41]It's okay.
[16:42]Even if you're friends, you need to maintain some level of respect.
[16:46]Level of respect.
[16:49]Even if they're one day, he heard some of his companions using
[16:58]foul language against Muawi.
[17:03]Muawi, they're using bad language against Muawa.
[17:06]Bad words.
[17:08]Im Alam turned to his companions.
[17:11]He says I hate.
[17:17]Look at the word.
[17:20]He didn't say I dislike.
[17:19]He said I hate for you to use bad language like this.
[17:25]Hate.
[17:26]And how often domin sometimes use this kind of bad language on
[17:32]a daily basis?
[17:32]They sometimes use these bad words and so on so forth.
[17:36]That's not good, brothers and sisters.
[17:38]Imm Ali hates it.
[17:39]So people then said, But this is we're not talking about some
[17:46]he says even then they said then what shall we say?
[17:50]He said say what they are doing wrong and you say for
[17:56]example for example misguides people okay that's the fact that's a fact
[17:59]there you're not using bad language you're stating the truth you're stating
[18:03]what is he doing state his actions is killing the yeah okay
[18:10]is killing the or things like this don't use bad language that's
[18:14]not our this is how taught us brothers and sisters this is
[18:17]who we are as Shia.
[18:21]That's why find me one of our anyone of our okay find
[18:28]me one who would use foul language against the other school of
[18:32]thought or people from the other school of thought.
[18:36]Never, never, never.
[18:39]We had, we had by the name of Mutbar.
[18:45]They used to give him this title, the son of the pure
[18:53]fromb used to call him, the son of the he's that's the
[18:59]language of but our language.
[19:04]No.
[19:06]When would go by he says the sheh said see the difference.
[19:09]So what school do you want to follow?
[19:12]Do you want to follow the school of Ibia and the language
[19:16]of Ibia or do you want to follow the school of Imam
[19:18]and the of imamuslimus calls the father of his father he tells
[19:35]him why don't you do of Ali why don't you don't use
[19:41]foul language against Ali Who was cursing the Sahabah?
[19:44]Who was using this bad language against the Sahab?
[19:48]This is according to at the very least isn't a sahabi.
[19:54]Isn't he a companion at the very least?
[19:56]So why is then urging people and blaming people?
[20:01]Why aren't you doing it?
[20:02]So says, "Yeah, even though I may disagree with him, but he
[20:07]has some good things.
[20:08]I was there when the prophet said tomorrow in I'm going to
[20:13]send a man who Allah loves and his messenger loves him and
[20:16]he loves Allah and his messenger.
[20:17]I would have loved to be that man but I'm not.
[20:21]I was not chosen.
[20:21]He is the father of Hassan Hussein.
[20:25]I wish I was the father of Hassan and Hussein the children
[20:28]of so on so forth.
[20:30]So you see brothers and sisters, we should not be following the
[20:37]sunnah of we follow the sunnah of Ali.
[20:39]He's our im and that's the value we should be following.
[20:42]So let's from tonight watch our language the way we speak.
[20:48]Let's speak respectfully, politely even with our friends.
[20:50]Let's make sure that we always talk in a respectful manner.
[20:55]On that note, let's watch our children as well.
[20:56]And just as a side note, brothers and sisters here, our children
[21:02]these days play games and they have headphones, you know, and they
[21:07]play games with complete strangers.
[21:08]You don't know who are they playing with.
[21:11]And sometimes with these strangers, as they play games, what kind of
[21:14]language is being used there?
[21:15]And our own children are being exposed to this language on a
[21:18]daily basis, regular basis.
[21:21]You might go home tonight and you'll see your child having his
[21:24]headphones and they're playing this games.
[21:27]Who are they playing with?
[21:28]You say strangers.
[21:30]Complete strangers.
[21:30]We don't know who they're playing with.
[21:32]What kind of language are they using?
[21:34]One has to be careful brothers and sisters.
[21:37]And then we are surprised one day when our children for example
[21:40]use such a bad language.
[21:42]Say where did you get this from?
[21:44]We don't use this language at home.
[21:45]Well, he's used he's listening to it every day at home.
[21:47]And now of course he's bringing it out.
[21:50]So be careful brothers and sisters.
[21:52]So let's make sure that we know who are they playing with,
[21:56]what are they playing, we're following along so that we sure that
[22:00]they're raised in a good manner, in a virtuous manner.
[22:04]So these three things Quran are is telling us stay away from
[22:08]as a community.
[22:10]Imagine if we take away this.
[22:11]No one is ridiculing anybody else.
[22:12]No one is name calling somebody else.
[22:16]No one is humiliating somebody else.
[22:18]No one is talking badly.
[22:20]What a beautiful community we would have.
[22:24]The reason for the revelation of this ayah, it is said that
[22:28]the prophet sallall.aii Allah Muhammad he married her father was Jewish but
[22:45]she became Muslim after and the prophet sallallahu alaihi married her those
[22:51]two wives of the prophet you know in this surah you hear
[22:56]about them quite a lot if you've been following along you in
[22:59]the surah they they come quite a lot.
[23:01]Subhan Allah.
[23:03]The surah is about and look at the way that they were
[23:09]dealing with people and with okay nonetheless those two wives become very
[23:13]jealous.
[23:14]You know the prophet married this new lady.
[23:17]So they go by her every now and then say the daughter
[23:22]of the you're the daughter of the Jew.
[23:25]They're trying to humiliate her.
[23:32]Okay.
[23:29]So she one day comes to comes to crying.
[23:36]The prophet says, "What's the matter?" She says, "This is the problem.
[23:38]These two ladies, whenever they see me, this is what they do
[23:42]to me.
[23:43]They're abusing me." So the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall told her next
[23:48]time they say this to you tell them my father is Harun
[23:53]the prophet because she's of the descendants of Harun the prophet the
[23:58]brother of who?
[23:58]Musam.
[24:00]So my father is Harun the prophet.
[24:07]My uncle is Musam the prophet and my husband is Muhammad sallallahu
[24:12]alaihi wasallam.
[24:20]What do you say now?
[24:23]No.
[24:24]So this is what so next time they came they said this
[24:26]this is how she responded.
[24:29]They said ah did the prophet teach you this?
[24:32]She said yes.
[24:34]Do you have an answer?
[24:35]No, we don't.
[24:36]Okay.
[24:37]And then they left.
[24:37]Okay.
[24:37]This is the reason they say this ayah was revealed.
[24:42]Now, of course, this is one of the reasons that applies.
[24:45]But you see, brothers and sisters, what I'm trying to say as
[24:50]a side note, you see how many ayat talk about these two
[24:52]individuals and about those two other indivi their fathers.
[24:57]You see how many ayat mention them, but in an implicit way,
[25:01]in an indirect way.
[25:04]brothers and sisters because Allah is trying to teach us, educate us
[25:07]where is and where is be careful.
[25:09]Nonetheless, those are three things we should stay away from.
[25:14]What are the other three things very briefly?
[25:14]I'll go over them.
[25:17]Allah subhana wa ta'ala says avoid a lot of doubt.
[25:26]What is doubt?
[25:30]What is brothers and sisters?
[25:32]We have y when you're 100% sure and are you certain you
[25:35]say yes I'm certain positive 100%.
[25:38]That's when you are certain.
[25:43]Okay.
[25:44]Then we have when is from 51% sure up to 99% sure
[25:52]up to 99% is most likely but not 100%.
[26:01]Okay.
[26:02]If you're at 50/50, that's called sheek doubt.
[26:08]Okay.
[26:09]So that's doubt 50/50.
[26:09]Below 50, it's called imagination.
[26:12]And that's something they don't even consider anymore.
[26:16]Okay?
[26:15]That's why in the salat, brothers and sisters, in the salah, there
[26:20]is a there is a law.
[26:21]There is a rule in the salat rule.
[26:22]What is it?
[26:24]They say sometimes you may have a doubt at which you're in.
[26:27]Let's say for example sometimes some of the doubts will make your
[26:31]salat like a doubt for example between the first and second 50%
[26:35]I'm 50% you know first 50% second I don't know if you
[26:42]don't know then your salat becomes bottle you're going to have to
[26:45]stop the salat and then repeat again but in the third and
[26:51]fourth in a four not in a three if there is a
[26:52]doubt between second and third that also will make your salat but
[26:58]in In the third and fourth raq in the third and fourth
[27:00]rakah here is the thing if you're in doubt doubt doubt 50/50
[27:07]I don't know I'm in the third or in the fourth rak
[27:10]they say okay assume you're in the fourth rak finish your salat
[27:17]and get up and pray one where you recite say you recite
[27:22]then finish okay that's if you're in doubt 50/50 second or third
[27:31]but sometimes it's not doubt I am like 60% sure it is
[27:34]the fourth ra that's now not doubt anymore this is not check
[27:41]because it's not 50/50 this is so the say if it's you
[27:44]go with the you go okay I'm 60% sure it's the fourth
[27:47]rak they say consider the fourth rak that's it and continue your
[27:54]salat that's it do you see the difference now doubt 50/50 50
[27:57]van more than 50%.
[28:00]in the salat if you're 50/50 there are some rules that you
[28:04]need to follow but if you have most likely 60% 70% 80%
[28:08]but I'm not 100% sure it is for example fourth go with
[28:17]the does that make sense all right Quran is saying avoid a
[28:23]lot of not doubt 50/50 even if you are 70% sure but
[28:27]if you're not 100% sure Don't accuse people of something and unfortunately
[28:32]this happens so much so much in the community.
[28:36]A person says something and it spreads like fire.
[28:41]Oh, this person said this and this and this.
[28:44]Did you go ask him what did he mean?
[28:46]Maybe he meant something else.
[28:47]Maybe he tried to say something else but unfortunately it just spreads
[28:51]like fire.
[28:52]Quran says do not do that.
[28:56]avoid.
[28:56]If you're not 100% sure, then don't say anything.
[29:00]Okay, that's number four.
[29:02]Number five, don't spy on people.
[29:08]Some people are nosy.
[29:08]They just want to know everything.
[29:10]You know, where did you go?
[29:13]Where did you come?
[29:13]Who did you speak to?
[29:15]Where did you come?
[29:15]What?
[29:16]What?
[29:16]None of your business.
[29:16]Y just mind your own business.
[29:18]Okay.
[29:19]Some people want to know every little detail.
[29:22]We have enough problems on our own that we need to deal
[29:27]with.
[29:27]I don't need other people's problems.
[29:28]That's why the says a man or a person who's busy and
[29:32]preoccupied with his own faults, he will not be looking after other
[29:35]people's faults.
[29:37]The problem is we don't see our faults.
[29:41]I think I'm perfect, flawless.
[29:42]Everyone else has faults except me.
[29:45]I don't have any faults.
[29:46]I am perfect.
[29:48]That's how we view people.
[29:49]So Quran says there is a difference you know what's the second
[29:57]letter first letter is the second letter is what and has a
[30:02]dot underneath.
[30:01]Okay if you remove the dot what letter becomes is good.
[30:08]What is just if you remove the dotus is when you inquire
[30:14]about something with a positive intention about someone with a positive intention.
[30:17]What does that mean?
[30:20]For example, suppose you come for J and there is a M
[30:21]who shows up every week.
[30:26]Mashallah.
[30:26]One week you come, he's not there.
[30:29]Second week he's not there.
[30:30]You'll be like, I'm curious.
[30:30]Is he okay?
[30:32]Is he okay?
[30:34]Let me call to see if he's okay.
[30:37]You're calling to inquire to see if he's okay.
[30:40]You're not inquire to spy on him.
[30:42]Figure out where is he going?
[30:43]What's he doing?
[30:44]No.
[30:43]No.
[30:44]I just want to make sure he's okay.
[30:44]You pick up the phone.
[30:47]Are you okay?
[30:48]I haven't seen you in Jas.
[30:49]Yeah.
[30:50]Yeah.
[30:50]Alhamdulillah.
[30:51]I've just had, for example, this and Okay.
[30:52]Alhamdulillah.
[30:53]As long as you're okay, I'm I'm all right.
[30:56]I just was making sure you're fine.
[30:58]That's calledus.
[30:59]That's asking about people with a positive intention.
[31:04]Tajess is asking about people with negative intentions.
[31:09]That is not right.
[31:11]Okay.
[31:11]Wanting just to know what people are doing.
[31:15]Okay.
[31:16]That's not good.
[31:16]just so avoid that in the community.
[31:22]And lastly, Quran says don't gossip.
[31:26]And that's really a problem that we have in the community.
[31:30]It is said one day the reason for the revelation of this
[31:36]ayah, Osama Zed, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall put him on the
[31:40]Muslim treasury.
[31:40]He put him in charge of the Muslim treasury.
[31:43]Abb Zade Zade was they call him the adopted son of Sahbnab.
[31:51]Okay.
[31:52]He became Shahid.
[31:54]Zade became Shahid in the battle of M.
[31:56]So his son Usama the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall and he was
[32:00]a young man.
[32:01]Osama was young.
[32:02]He was 17 when the prophet made him the head of the
[32:04]army.
[32:05]When the prophet was on his deathbed, Osama was 17year-old.
[32:08]The prophet made him the head of the Muslim army to go
[32:12]fight the Romans.
[32:15]And he said his famous hadith, may Allah curse the one who
[32:20]does not follow the army of us.
[32:21]The prophet wanted to send those people away from Medina.
[32:24]Everyone was included except Bani Hashim.
[32:28]Bani Hashim were excluded from joining us but everyone had to follow
[32:32]but many people did not.
[32:36]Okay?
[32:34]And you know who.
[32:38]Nonetheless, so Usama was in charge of the Muslim treasury.
[32:40]Two men they asked Salman they said yeah Salman can you go
[32:45]ask Osama to give us some money because we are poor we
[32:48]need some money so Salman says okay he goes to says do
[32:52]you have some money there are two people who are poor they
[32:54]need money he says I don't have any money in the Muslim
[32:58]treasury if you remember the other day I said the prophet sallallahu
[33:00]alaihi wasall used to vacate the Muslim treasury he used to pay
[33:03]people immediately when he receives money he would distribute it immediately to
[33:07]the Muslims he would not keep money inside the treasury So said
[33:12]I don't have anything.
[33:15]So Salman went back to those two men and told them that
[33:17]I went to he said we don't have money.
[33:21]Salman left.
[33:23]Those two men started this Salman guy.
[33:27]You know if we send him even to a well of water
[33:30]he will tell you the well is dry.
[33:35]You know that's Salman.
[33:34]And this man is so stingy.
[33:38]He's the treasury.
[33:39]He's in charge of the treasury and he says we don't have
[33:41]money.
[33:42]And then those two men they go next to the prophet sallallahu
[33:47]alaihi wasall looks at them and says how was the meat that
[33:49]you ate this this afternoon?
[33:52]He said meat?
[33:52]We did not eat any meat here.
[33:53]We don't have meat.
[33:56]He said yes you did.
[33:55]You ate the flesh of and didn't you both talk about them
[34:03]both?
[34:01]Quran says, "Does one of you like to eat the flesh of
[34:10]his dead brother, but you hate it?" In fact, say this will
[34:16]be the punishment of those who do they'll be presented with some
[34:21]rotten flesh rotten meat and they will be forced to eat it.
[34:25]They they'll eat this rotten meat because this is the that they
[34:33]have done.
[34:29]Remember what I said last night?
[34:37]He will see it.
[34:40]They will see their the will be presented in the form of
[34:46]meat, bad meat, and they have to eat it.
[34:47]Okay?
[34:48]So, brothers and sisters, let's avoid gossiping.
[34:51]Do not talk about people behind their back.
[34:56]Do not.
[34:55]It humiliates the individual who's talking.
[34:59]Okay, people talked about Im Ali Alisam, but look where I im
[35:05]Ali is now and look where his enemies are today.
[35:07]You see the difference?
[35:10]So these things do matter, brothers and sisters.
[35:12]It is said at the time there was by the name of
[35:22]Muhammad Muhammad Hassan Shirazi.
[35:22]Say Muhammad Hassan Shirazi died in the year 1896.
[35:27]He was the one who gave a fatwa banning tobacco in Iran.
[35:32]There was a time, those of you who may have heard about
[35:38]this, the British made a deal with the king of Iran back
[35:40]in the 1800s, the late 1800s, to have a monopoly over the
[35:46]tobacco industry in Iran.
[35:47]And what they really wanted was just like what we see today.
[35:49]They wanted to dominate the whole financial system of Iran and then
[35:54]basically dominate the whole country.
[35:57]So they made a deal.
[36:00]The news reached this and this issued a fatwa that anyone who
[36:05]deals with tobacco is in a direct war against whether you farm
[36:12]it, whether you buy it, whether you sell it, whether you smoke
[36:15]it, anything, anything that deals with it, you're in war at the
[36:21]time.
[36:22]So everyone quit palace.
[36:23]No one started dealing with anything with tbar.
[36:26]Even the wife of the king at the time, the wife, she
[36:29]ordered that all the shishas in the king's palace be destroyed.
[36:35]So the king came at night and said, "I want a shisha."
[36:37]You know those?
[36:38]They told him, "We don't have any." Said, "What do you mean
[36:40]we don't have any?" He said, "Your wife ordered us to destroy
[36:45]them all." What?
[36:44]Where is my wife?
[36:47]Why did you do this?
[36:48]She said the mah said it's haram kalas.
[36:49]What do you mean listen to me?
[36:52]Why do you listen to him?
[36:57]She said he was the one who made me halal to you.
[36:58]>> So I will listen to him.
[37:02]And so the king lost even control over his own palace and
[37:05]hence that whole treaty collapsed.
[37:06]The whole treaty collapsed.
[37:09]So people then came to him to say Muhammad Hassimah and they
[37:15]told him well done congratulations we succeeded.
[37:18]But he was not very pleased.
[37:20]They asked him why.
[37:20]He said, "Because now the enemy knows our strength." [snorts] The He
[37:26]says, "Now they've discovered what the strength is.
[37:28]And now I'm afraid they're going to start attacking the system of
[37:33]what?" And indeed, isn't that what we see happening today, brothers and
[37:38]sisters?
[37:37]In a very subtle way, sometimes it creeps up even in our
[37:43]own circles.
[37:45]Even among own circles, we have three three things that are powerful.
[37:49]Three things that are powerful.
[37:51]Our belief in Im Hussein and the we do for Im Hussein.
[37:56]Our belief in im and Muhammad Ali Muhammad and our belief in
[38:06]the system of and you find the enemies of B are attacking
[38:11]us on these three fronts right left and center.
[38:13]Every year in Muam we have some things that are stirring all
[38:17]over social media.
[38:17]Every year for example around the time of Imi people are stirring
[38:22]that is he born is he not born you know do we
[38:27]know that he exist and so on among the and then every
[38:29]now and then we hear some things about the system brothers and
[38:32]sisters so we need to be careful huh don't let these social
[38:38]media and those people influence you in this negative manner okay so
[38:43]be careful that's our strength when we follow our and when People
[38:49]ignore these kind of talks and these kind of posts and so
[38:53]on so forth.
[38:53]The reason for the success of that fatwa back in 1891 1891
[38:59]was because the people followed the kalas he said haram haram that's
[39:04]it he said that you're in combat against the imam everyone stayed
[39:07]behind even the people who are not religious people who are not
[39:11]religious they said well even though I'm not religious but I don't
[39:13]want to be in war with IM you know so I'm staying
[39:17]away from this one you know even they also participated in the
[39:22]fatwa they listened So you see brothers and sisters, one has to
[39:26]be very careful, very careful about what we do and what we
[39:29]not do.
[39:30]And this is how Im Ali trained his Sahab, trained his companions.
[39:36]And we hear about Malik Ashtar's famous story when he was hit
[39:41]with a pit of a date and he goes and he prays
[39:45]for the person who hits him.
[39:46]When the person comes after him after recognizing this was Malik Ashtar,
[39:51]he says, "Please forgive me.
[39:52]I did not recognize you.
[39:54]I did not know you.
[39:55]He said, I didn't even look to see who you were and
[39:58]I was not planning to come to the masjid, but I came
[40:00]to pray to Allah to forgive you.
[40:02]This is the of the if we had this kind of do
[40:07]you think we would have any problems in our community?
[40:10]Not at all.
[40:12]This is how we need to treat each other.
[40:14]Husbands and wives, wives and husbands, parents and children, children and parents,
[40:20]people in the community.
[40:21]This is how we need to be the of and hence those
[40:29]were in pain after the loss of they would remember him and
[40:37]they would cry for him years after his death.
[40:43]People are remembering him.
[40:44]One day there was a companion of Imisam by the name of
[40:52]Dani Abdi.
[40:53]He was brought as a witness before a judge by the name
[41:01]of Abi a judge from the Abbasi dynasty.
[41:03]And of course this judge was not from the path of so
[41:08]when gave the testimony this judge scolded Omar and said I do
[41:18]not approve of your testimony because you are you are what so
[41:25]amar cried cried abilah felt bad he saidar why are you crying
[41:33]because I called you a you know Omar you're a good man
[41:37]if you just leave this and you leave and just follow the
[41:44]others and you will be a great you're a good he says
[41:47]I'm not crying because of that he said then why are you
[41:49]crying he said I'm crying because you called me do you know
[41:53]who are these are the of I don't know if I qualify
[42:00]to be among the That's what I'm worried because you gave me
[42:05]a title that is such a great title.
[42:08]I'm afraid Allah will punish me and punish you for giving me
[42:16]this title that I am unworthy of.
[42:16]The news reached Im said this his status before Allah has risen
[42:24]so high because of this word.
[42:29]This is how people view Im Ali brothers and sisters.
[42:31]They loved him.
[42:34]They love im.
[42:35]They remember IM Ali and when they have they go to the
[42:43]and they ask him they say help us give us and that's
[42:51]why one of the enemies on the day of a man who
[42:57]was writing the events of the battle he says I saw a
[43:06]girl an orphan of Abdah Hussein.
[43:08]After the battle, when the tents were burning, this girl was running
[43:17]around.
[43:14]I felt bad for her.
[43:19]So I approached her.
[43:19]As I approached her, she got scared.
[43:24]She said, "Old man, are you with us or against us?" because
[43:27]she saw how the enemies are raiding the tents, how they're beating
[43:33]the ladies and the children.
[43:34]So she got worried, she got scared.
[43:37]This man said, "I am neither with you nor am I against
[43:42]you, but I saw that you are in such a state of
[43:44]distress.
[43:45]I felt sorry for you.
[43:48]So I've come to see if you need anything." She said, "If
[43:52]that is the case, then can you take me to Najaf?" He
[43:59]said, "Little girl, Najaf is too far.
[44:02]Why do you want to go to Najaf?" She said, "I heard
[44:07]from my aunt.
[44:10]We have someone is there.
[44:17]Whenever someone is distressed, they can go to him and he will
[44:22]help them and look after them.
[44:27]I want to go to him and tell him that my father
[44:29]Hussein has been killed in Carabella and the enemies are attacking our
[44:38]tents and we have no one to look after us.
[44:47]Our tents are in flames.
[44:50]He said, "Little girl, Najaf is too far.
[44:55]I cannot take you to Najv." She said, "Then what about the
[44:59]river of [screaming] He said, I thought she's thirsty, so she wants
[45:06]me to take her to the river of Furat so she can
[45:10]drink from the water." So I told her, "Okay, river of forat,
[45:15]I can take you there.
[45:16]Come with me." I took the little girl to the river of
[45:18]Farad.
[45:19]But to my surprise, when we arrived at the river, she did
[45:27]not go to the river of rather she went to her uncle
[45:33]Abas.
[45:35]She threw herself on his body crying.
[45:48][screaming] Get up and see how the enemies are burning our tents.
[45:56]See how they are raiding our tents.
[46:04]See how they are beating my arms.
[46:15]I [screaming] Raise your hands in the dua.
[46:36]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala fulfill the of all and those who
[46:42]are ill.
[46:43]May Allah grant them quick and complete recovery.
[46:45]There is a m who's suffering from cancer.
[46:48]He's in the need of our dua.
[46:51]May Allah grant him inshallah quick and complete recovery.
[46:58]You for a ambible.
[47:43]10 times together.
[47:48]Ya Allah.
[47:47]Ya Allah.
[47:49]Ya Allah.
[47:51]Ya Allah.
[47:53]Ya Allah.
[47:51]Ya Allah.
[47:53]Ya Allah.
[47:55]Ya Allah.
[47:57]Ya Allah.
[47:56]Ya Allah.
[48:21]All All Fore!
[49:36]Foreign!
[49:38]Foreign!
[49:42]Foreign Muhammaduhammed.
