[0:56]her sacrifice and support for islam and the messenger of god yet

[0:59]at the same time she doesn't get the mention or recognition in

[1:02]the muslim world that she deserves as some have pointed other wives

[1:08]of the prophet to be his favorite or indeed the best here

[1:12]are seven reasons why khadijah alaihissalam is clearly the best and the

[1:16]most beloved wife to the prophet number one because the prophet himself

[1:23]said so as simple as that in sahih bukhari volume 5 the

[1:27]famous book sahaba volume 4 and many other books of hadith across

[1:31]all muslim groups sunni and shia they narrate the following hadith ayesha

[1:35]the wife of the holy prophet peace and blessings be upon him

[1:37]and his family said every time the prophet left the house he

[1:43]would remember khadijah and praise her one day whilst doing so i

[1:47]became jealous and said to him she was old allah has given

[1:52]you a better wife than her the prophet became very angry and

[1:56]replied never by allah allah has not given me a better wife

[1:59]than her she believed in me when people disbelieved she shared her

[2:05]wealth with me when other people deprived me and allah has provided

[2:09]children for me from her while he didn't provide children for me

[2:13]from other than her this hadith which is so widely reported is

[2:18]an exceptionally strong evidence that khadija was indeed the best wife unfortunately

[2:24]some people like sheikh bin tamir have tried to say otherwise using

[2:28]excuses here and there but the meaning and clarity of the narration

[2:32]cannot be denied and is agreed by many people number two khadijah

[2:36]is one of the four best females ever once again in many

[2:39]reliable and accepted traditions the holy prophet peace be upon him and

[2:42]his family famously said the best women of the worlds are maryam

[2:48]the daughter of imran asiya bintamuzahim khadija muhammad peace be upon them

[2:53]other narrations point to these four being the best women of paradise

[2:59]as well you can find these hadiths in books like mustadrak of

[3:02]al-haqim as well as many shia sources hence according to these sources

[3:13]she was called al-tahira the pure woman as zakiyah the innocent woman

[3:20]al maria the respected female and asadika the truth for woman the

[3:24]status of being one of the four best women is not shared

[3:26]by any other wife of the holy prophet and so it's very

[3:31]surprising and sad to see people accepting others such as aisha as

[3:35]superior tradition number three lady khadija alayhi salam was the first female

[3:40]to accept the message of islam and believe in prophet muhammad sallallahu

[3:45]alaihi it's a fact it's an undisputable fact that khadijah gave her

[3:49]entire wealth to the holy prophet for the propagation of islam one

[3:52]narration says she owned a small market given to her by hakeem

[3:58]yet she gave it all to her husband this kind of sacrifice

[4:00]altruism and loyalty is unique and makes us stand out amongst the

[4:04]wives of the holy prophet number four later khadija alayhi salam had

[4:09]such an outstanding status in the eyes of the almighty that narrations

[4:12]agreed by all muslims tell us that allah sent his salam to

[4:16]her in sahih al-bukhari number 3820 we find that ibrahim came to

[4:21]the holy prophet and said oh messenger of allah this is khadija

[4:24]coming to you with a dish having meat soup or some food

[4:29]or drink when she reaches you greet her on behalf of the

[4:31]lord and on my behalf and give her the glad tidings of

[4:36]having a palace made of kasab in paradise wherein there will be

[4:39]neither any noise nor any turmoil is thought to be a special

[4:45]type of pearl or emerald in another narration found in hadith number

[4:55]five the progeny of the holy prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam continued

[5:00]through lady father the daughter of khadija the fact that she was

[5:06]chosen by allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to be the womb that carries

[5:08]such a pure lady who is the mother of the imams of

[5:12]the aha albeit and the light that connects prophethood and imam points

[5:15]to the excellence of khadijah no other wife or the holy prophet

[5:18]had the status number six the prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi sallam never

[5:23]married anyone else when khadija was alive and for a year after

[5:26]she passed away he continued to express his deep love for khadijah

[5:33]throughout his life and would even look after her friends in sahih

[5:36]muslim in the book of the merits of companions hadith 2 4

[5:41]3 5 we read the following aisha said never did i feel

[5:44]jealous of the wives of allah's apostle except khadija although i never

[5:50]saw her whenever allah's messenger slaughtered the sheep he would say send

[5:55]it to the companions of khadijah i annoyed him one day and

[6:00]said it is khadijah only who always prevails upon your mind thereupon

[6:04]allah's messenger peace be upon him and his family said her love

[6:07]has been nurtured in my heart by allah himself subhanallah so the

[6:13]love of khadijah in the prophet's heart was something unique and not

[6:18]shared with any other wife of his number seven the first household

[6:21]to establish the worship of allah subhanahu ta'ala and the history of

[6:25]islam included khadijah peace be upon him narrations tell us how the

[6:31]holy prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam behind him ali al-islam and behind

[6:35]them lady khadijah would perform salah the prayer next to the holy

[6:41]ka'ba similarly they were the first to perform the acceptable tawaf based

[6:45]on monotheism around the kaaba too what has been just mentioned and

[6:50]much more than this is a clear sufficient evidence for anyone with

[6:54]an open mind and wants to research openly to conclude that the

[6:57]best and the choices wife of the holy prophet muhammad peace be

[7:05]upon her sadly many muslims around the world today may not know

[7:09]or have been taught this reality it's important that this message reaches

[7:13]far and wide and khadija is truly recognized for her outstanding personality

[7:17]and achievements she stands way above all the other wives of the

[7:21]prophet she sadly passed away on the 10th of ramadan three years

[7:27]before hijrah was buried in the cemetery in mecca the holy prophet

[7:30]sallallahu alaihi wasallam was so saddened over her loss and that of

[7:37]his faithful mutton that he called that year the year of sorrow

[7:41]we pray to allah allow us to honor this great lady in

[7:47]this world and to attain her intercession on the day of qiyamah
