[0:00]miss malotte rahmani raheem alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen wa sallahu ala sayidina muhammadin
[0:06]wa ala nabina ba hurry Allah Allah Allah I'm eduarda Muhammad previously
[0:12]we were examining the life of of soda one of the wives
[0:19]of the prophet sallallaahu hani hani specifically the second wife that he
[0:24]married after lady shadi jolly has saddam and we examined the accounts
[0:28]that claimed that the Prophet divorced her and basically we mentioned that
[0:34]there's no evidence in sahih hadith that the Prophet actually divorced her
[0:37]or he threatened to divorce her because she was getting gold and
[0:42]he was no longer interested in her and we talked about the
[0:45]verses of new shoes when a wife does not fulfill her marital
[0:49]obligations then what is the path that the Quran recommends when a
[0:56]man does not fulfill his obligations what is the course of action
[1:00]that the holy quran recommends we examine that well now just briefly
[1:03]finish examining some to three points about soda and there we'll examine
[1:10]other wives of the Prophet we do have in some hadith that
[1:20]soda did make some mistakes in terms of some things that she
[1:26]said after the Battle of Bethel so some scholars have said that
[1:34]this is a negative stance that we see from soda and it's
[1:38]something that was really unfortunate for the wife of the Prophet SAW
[1:42]Allah WA he wanted to make a comment like that so it
[1:46]has been recorded in history that when they brought the captives of
[1:51]bed the prisoners of war from the mushrikeen they brought them to
[1:55]the Muslim side she saw Sohail eben I'm sitting in one corner
[2:05]of the room and his hands were tied to his neck his
[2:11]hands were I'm sorry his hands were tied with a rope so
[2:17]basically he was arrested he was handcuffed with a rope she said
[2:22]so does she said I couldn't help myself when I saw that
[2:30]scene she pretty much became emotional and she told him yeah Abhaya
[2:36]Zeid that's his Cunha his title was abayas heed his name was
[2:39]so he'd have an army I paid to be a deacon and
[2:44]I would turn Karaman you surrendered with your hands why did you
[2:49]not die in honor what do you make of a statement like
[2:56]that by the life of the Prophet exactly the implied meaning of
[3:01]such a phrases why don't you keep finding finding who fighting the
[3:10]Muslim side fighting for the Prophet so the prophet sallallaahu anyway they
[3:15]became very disappointed and she says it seems I didn't really know
[3:19]what I was saying until the Prophet he commented and he awoke
[3:23]he awoke me from what I was saying and he told me
[3:28]yes so death I lay and Allah he was allowed a Sunni
[3:33]he to Halloween so that you're instigating against God in His Prophet
[3:39]so she said Jana Sarala I swear when I saw his hands
[3:45]tied I just became emotional and I said that so we actually
[3:48]are scholars who have taken this incident and they they're like this
[3:52]gives us a negative impression of Soudan and how much faith she
[3:58]had in the prophet and Allah Spano to Allah and especially those
[4:01]scholars who see clear evidence that she would side with the higher
[4:05]and that camp right as we mentioned before so you will find
[4:10]shia scholars pretty much critical of soda not to the point like
[4:14]they are critical of iran Hafsah but they are critical of her
[4:16]and they would use this example as a troubling a you know
[4:21]example that you know when you say something like that how can
[4:25]you have full Iman for you to say something like that this
[4:29]is not just an ordinary slip you're telling the enemy who came
[4:33]to kill you and fight you when you see him handcuffed will
[4:38]you tell him why didn't you not die in honor how come
[4:40]you surrendered well what kind of implication is that you should have
[4:44]continued finding the Prophet that's an unacceptable by all standards yes one
[4:50]could say okay she got emotional she didn't really mean it but
[4:54]a woman of full faith would not say that that's the arguments
[4:58]of some scholars yes it raises it raises questions well we do
[5:11]know that we don't have any evidence that she spied for the
[5:15]other side right but it does question yet it does question her
[5:20]Allegiance in that moment right on whose side are you for you
[5:25]to say something like that a lot of scholars just brush this
[5:27]off to the side and they say she just got emotional some
[5:31]woman when they see maybe something in the battlefield maybe violence maybe
[5:35]blood maybe someone handcuffed they just blurt out something right so a
[5:39]lot of scholars have not taken this seriously but there are some
[5:43]scholars who have taken this very seriously and they're like this one
[5:46]statement here tells us a lot about her personality and especially later
[5:52]when she's sided with IOSH and conspired with aisha which might even
[5:55]tell us she may not have had full faith in the Prophet
[5:57]in any case this is something documented in in our history that
[6:05]she said that and the Prophet was very upset oh yes this
[6:09]is mentioned and their sources too but like I said they even
[6:16]shia scholars they've brushed this off they're like she got emotional she
[6:20]didn't really mean it and when the Prophet alerted to what she's
[6:23]saying she kind of regretted what she said she's like Jana so
[6:27]Allah I I didn't really know what I was saying I just
[6:29]saw him handcuffed and I said what I said and I swear
[6:33]by Allah I didn't really mean it that way right so a
[6:36]lot of scholars have been easy with the statement but have been
[6:39]really critical but there's one good thing that we see one positive
[6:43]towards the end of her life after the prophet sallahu aleihi wanna
[6:50]basically in had jetted with that the final farewell pilgrimage of the
[6:54]prophet two months before he was martyred before he was passed away
[6:58]so that was with him and had Judson with Buddha so she
[7:02]went to that Hajj but never after that did she go to
[7:05]the Hajj and never after that did she travel so unlike Ayesha
[7:10]who traveled left her house and mobilized armies so this says I
[7:14]hadn't I have nothing to do with that so they refused to
[7:21]leave her house or go to Hajj and she even once mentioned
[7:23]Hajj edge to our timer to fana after roofie become a mother-in-law
[7:28]I've already done my Hajj I've already gone to the AMA now
[7:32]I'm gonna stick to my house just as Allah has commanded me
[7:34]in the Quran and so we find that soda zeyneb and Josh
[7:44]they were very clear that we will not lie to her like
[7:52]Latehar lacunae daba da rasoolallah no means of transportation is going to
[7:56]make us move after the Prophet were here we're going to implement
[7:59]the verse of surat al-ahzab that says to the prophets wives stick
[8:02]to your homes what Caron Fe will - couldn't so so that
[8:05]we find that after the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa li she did
[8:11]not go with aisha she rather stayed and she would not even
[8:16]travel well on cinema we do have some references that she just
[8:22]went for hajj so without getting any involvement involved in political matters
[8:28]like i should did she just went for everybody hajj and she
[8:32]came back so i'm cinema's understanding was sent into your homes doesn't
[8:35]mean you're allowed locked in your house that means don't get involved
[8:39]in matters that allah has already decided like caliphate politics social issues
[8:43]but if you want to just go for hajj or umrah that's
[8:48]fine so yes we do have historical accounts that umm Salama went
[8:55]would for that for - my cap versus it seems like you
[8:57]know if you have the profit available to you test it to
[9:01]see if you would ask right and for these women that's their
[9:05]husband handing that verse it came you know for them why why
[9:13]was there see there wasn't enough in their interpretations basically on cinema
[9:17]would remind ash as we will now examine her biography well I'll
[9:22]get to that but um sedima reminded I said that remember we
[9:25]were with the Prophet he clearly reminded us of this verse and
[9:31]then he said one of you is going to violate this verse
[9:33]when you're on your path going somewhere and you go by the
[9:39]kill above however the dogs of how about gonna bark at you
[9:41]and that's the sign that you're disobeying Allah so it was understood
[9:46]by the wives of the Prophet that they could leave the house
[9:49]go to the Masjid run some errands that's fine go for a
[9:53]bite I like the Hajj that's okay but not to get involved
[9:55]in political matters that's what the Quran banned them from doing as
[9:59]for these two soda and specifically zeyneb and Josh it seems that
[10:08]when they saw a show mobilizing people to make this point very
[10:11]powerful and to make it very clear that we're not getting involved
[10:15]at anything we're literally gonna stick to our homes yes I have
[10:20]the right to go to the Hajj that's fine the Prophet never
[10:21]bad me from that but I will even avoid that so no
[10:25]one will think that I'm going there and maybe having secret talks
[10:28]with someone or mobilizing something with someone so the kids they they
[10:31]they felt strongly about that and they wanted to make sure that
[10:34]they implemented the verse verbatim without any confusion they chose that for
[10:40]themselves so they basically went out of their way to make sure
[10:45]that they're not getting involved in these matters that that's my analysis
[10:49]of it she passed away during the caliphate of arabic kitab towards
[11:00]the end of his caliphate in the city of medina in the
[11:04]month of Showa year 40 Senator Bob welcome seen year 54 of
[11:11]the Hegira year 54 of the Hitoshi passed away and and what
[11:18]did a historian he says according to my research that is the
[11:21]date of her death some historians have mentioned other dates for her
[11:26]death so this is one of the wives of the prophet salallahu
[11:28]alayhi wa the second wife that he married and this was after
[11:31]lady Khadijah now let's examine some other wives of the Prophet because
[11:38]if you remember from before we decided now to examine the family
[11:41]life of the Prophet as we're examining his biography how many wives
[11:46]did the Prophet marry altogether this is something disputed by historians they
[11:52]give multiple figures some say 19 some say 17 some say 15
[11:58]some say 13s I'm saying 9 we have a hadith which the
[12:00]book of Al Hassan by a che cosa dog narrates a hadith
[12:04]from an imam sadiq ali sallam in which the imam ali salam
[12:08]says azzawajal rasullullah sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wasallam become solitary mariah the
[12:13]Prophet married fifteen woman so the figure that we have from the
[12:19]idol bait according to this hadith is 15 what does Allah be
[12:22]salafiyyah our Sharaman Hoonah the marriage was consummated with 13 of them
[12:27]so two of them there was a marriage contract but they never
[12:32]lived together we'll see later why what happened why did their marriage
[12:37]not continue and they separated what Kobe Atlantis the prophets of Allah
[12:42]Allah says when the imam mahdi saddam says when the Prophet passed
[12:46]away there were nine wives who outlived him and basically they survived
[12:53]after him so in total he married fifteen two of them the
[13:01]marriage was not even consummated 13 of them the Prophet actually lived
[13:04]with and out of them nine are those who lived after him
[13:10]so nine out of the 13 survived the prophet salallahu alayhi wa
[13:14]for instance Khadijah she passed away during the life of the Prophet
[13:17]and there are there is one more we'll talk about so we
[13:22]have this hadith from the imam ali salaam that tells us the
[13:30]figure of those wives now as for the sequence of these wives
[13:33]the imam also mentions it and this is an area where we
[13:38]slightly disagree with the sunni understanding of that sequence so an amount
[13:41]of sod that a day saddam says as for those that the
[13:44]Prophet actually lived with and the marriage was consummated oh well ahuna
[13:50]khadija bint toilet the first was Khadija the second is soda up
[13:55]till this point were in agreement with most Sunnis even though some
[14:00]Sunnis even claim that I sure came before soda the marriage contract
[14:03]with Aisha when she was six as they claimed was done before
[14:05]the Prophet actually married so that but a lot of certain historians
[14:10]dispute that and they say no first lady jad and so did
[14:12]so so far were in agreement who's the third one suddenly say
[14:21]Asha clearly right but any mama signed up and this hadith he
[14:24]says umm Salama where is maja hint been to mania the Imam
[14:28]even mentions her name her name wasn't the daughter of a below
[14:31]mania so according to the hadith of Allah - Allah Tala Salam
[14:34]the third wife of the Prophet was not a shisha it was
[14:37]actually um Selim so how do we address this discrepancy between the
[14:45]hadiths and the schools of thought one effort by some scholars to
[14:49]resolve that is to say that the Prophet may be according to
[14:55]some sources he had the akkad or they call it the Nika
[14:58]or the cosmic table or the marriage contract with Aisha in Mecca
[15:04]but when did he live with her in Medina that came after
[15:07]umm Salama so if you look at the uttered the marriage contract
[15:14]with Aisha it came before umm Salama but if you consider one
[15:19]the Prophet married and the marriage was consummated on sedima is number
[15:23]3 and ayah comes after her so this is one way of
[15:29]addressing this discrepancy yes so does marriage so yes a lot of
[15:39]sources seem to indicate that the Prophet married soda in Mecca yes
[15:44]and she migrated with him to Medina no no no she was
[15:46]from Mecca yes so there was from that can no doubt about
[15:53]that all of the wives from Mecca no later on we'll see
[15:55]some wives from Medina yeah we'll see a number of them being
[16:02]from Medina but so far these are from Mecca so according to
[16:04]the hadith of the imam sadiq ali sana he says the Prophet
[16:08]moved with these wives he lived with them the marriage was consummated
[16:10]first as Khadija ii the soda the third is on solomon the
[16:17]fourth is Aishah that el Imam Ali Salim mentions then he mentions
[16:21]half's at number five then zeyneb bent Jose on Mill Misaki will
[16:25]talk about her and then later on we'll examine the other wives
[16:29]so now let's examine umm Salama who is on cinema if you
[16:34]remember from our biography at class maybe at the end of the
[16:37]first year or the beginning of the second year we briefly mentioned
[16:43]her migration umm Salama her name is hint her first name is
[16:50]hint her father's name was Abu Omega she came from the tribe
[16:53]of Ben emic zoom and she was born in Mecca so she
[16:57]comes from a mekin tribe her father was distinguished among Quraysh to
[17:00]be a man of honor dignity and he was known for his
[17:03]generosity she married Abu Salama and masazumi so her husband Abu Salim
[17:12]it comes from the tribe of Ben imasu and basically they were
[17:19]amongst the early Muslims those were embraced Islam within the first five
[17:24]years of the better home cinema and her husband and also her
[17:28]husband was the cousin of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa the son
[17:34]of the prophets aunt so her husband was related to the prophet
[17:39]sallallahu alayhi wa now we yes ah boo Salama so we spoke
[17:47]about her migration to Abyssinia and if you remember a lot of
[17:52]the stories of what happened in hobart and what jock father had
[17:55]been abu talib said what did the king of Habashi Adana Joshi
[17:59]said a lot of it is narrated by whom sentiment because she's
[18:02]an eyewitness she was present there and then we also examined how
[18:06]she was left behind and she was so upset and then a
[18:09]last panel Tata made it easy for her and she migrated to
[18:14]Medina so this we've already addressed but now let's not talk about
[18:17]her role in Medina she was quite active in Medina in fact
[18:20]she participated in battles in many of the battles with the Prophet
[18:27]she was there she would go travel with the Prophet and be
[18:30]at those battles and after the Battle of hood she would regularly
[18:33]go and visit the graves of the martyrs at foot and Lady
[18:37]Fatima Liston I would also do that but here this is the
[18:39]wife of the Prophet history has documented that regularly she would go
[18:44]and visit the grave of the martyrs so when we visit the
[18:50]grave of the martyrs and they accuse us of bitter shell innovation
[18:54]well here you have the wife of the Prophet she was a
[18:58]regular visitor historians say she was a regular visitors visitor of the
[19:04]graves at Offutt after the Battle of hood her husband dies from
[19:09]a wound that he sustained in the battle so in the Battle
[19:15]of the her husband Abu Salim ax is wounded later on after
[19:18]the Battle of he dies so he dies as a martyr because
[19:21]if you're wounded in the battlefield and you die as a result
[19:23]of that you are considered as a martyr in the eye of
[19:28]Allah Spano tada it's narrated that before he died he instructed her
[19:32]to marry after him he told her look I know maybe there
[19:36]are some tribal customs that if the husband dies colors the wife
[19:38]has to be Bruch it for the rest of her life and
[19:41]she has to warn him and some tribes did have that ignorant
[19:46]culture so Abu said I met right before he dies he tells
[19:48]her look I'm Celina I command you I want you to remarry
[19:53]after me don't stay grieving me for you years remarry and just
[19:58]continue your life and then he makes a door for her he
[20:00]says oh allah grant on selena a husband that is better than
[20:06]me and he sincerely meant made that door well allah subhanahu wata'ala
[20:13]did indeed answer her prayer after her husband died and the waiting
[20:17]period was over abu became to propose to her he came officially
[20:22]to propose to her well what does history state she refused after
[20:27]Abu Bakr Umar ibn Khattab came he proposed to her she refused
[20:35]so basically she apologized and she did not accept then the prophet
[20:41]sallallahu alayhi wa ali goes and proposes to her when the Prophet
[20:45]SAW Allah al aliy goes and proposes to her she tells him
[20:48]be honest ooh la la it's my greatest honor to be your
[20:54]wife to be at your service but I have orphans I don't
[20:56]want to disturb you I have kids and this could be burdensome
[20:59]for you and I'm not you know that young I'm a little
[21:05]bit older now so I don't want to burden you the prophet
[21:10]sallallahu alayhi wa basically expressed to her that the reason why he
[21:17]wants to marry her is to care for her because her husband
[21:18]died in the battle the Prophet basically wanted to kind of compensate
[21:22]her because some people when they go through a trial like that
[21:27]they might think ok you know because of the Prophet and his
[21:29]mission I lost my husband I became a widow so the Prophet
[21:33]would he saw her she was a woman of faith she had
[21:35]patience to basically pay her back the Prophet decided to marry her
[21:40]to take care of her and told her your children are like
[21:42]my children I will take care of them and the Prophet told
[21:44]her look I'm not looking for a young woman and that's not
[21:47]the reason why I'm marrying even if you're a little bit older
[21:50]that's fine we don't exactly know how old she was when the
[21:55]Prophet married her some historians have said she was around 30 but
[21:59]based on this conversation she had with the Prophet where she told
[22:02]him er Ursula I'm a little bit older I'm not that young
[22:06]some scholars have concluded maybe she was a little bit older than
[22:08]because if you're 30 you're still young because at this point the
[22:15]profit is like 55 right so this conversation may not support the
[22:19]idea that she was maybe between 25 and 30 she may have
[22:23]been a little bit older than that otherwise why would she say
[22:25]that I'm kind of getting old and you know why do you
[22:28]want to marry me in any case historians have cited that she
[22:33]was around 30 when the Prophet married her but some scholars have
[22:37]reason to believe she was a little bit older than that Sunnah
[22:42]hadith mentioned that when the Prophet married her and that was in
[22:47]the year four of the hijra he took her to the room
[22:53]of zaynab bint Hussein zaynab bint was a male was a wife
[22:57]of the Prophet who passed away shortly after the Prophet marriages she
[23:01]died so after she died the Prophet when he married on cinema
[23:05]he took her to this room this is what some sunni hadith
[23:12]have mentioned and basically this would mean that the Prophet marries a
[23:18]nobuta Zana before umm Salama where as we saw from the hadith
[23:20]of our imam sadiq ali sallam he mentions of cinema first so
[23:25]it's not really clear if this is accurate or not whether he
[23:27]really did really take her to the room of zina but Hosea
[23:33]yes but they're saying that when the Prophet married umm Salama after
[23:39]the wedding he took her to the room of Zeynep so when
[23:44]home Senate I went to a room it's understood that she stayed
[23:47]there why would the Prophet tell her to leave later when he
[23:52]married zina so who did he marry first zeyneb Aram Salomon am
[23:56]outside of indicates of cinema but those who say that who accept
[24:02]this tradition doesn't it indicate that he married Zeynep first because how
[24:05]could it be her room if he had not married her yet
[24:12]so I'm selling I got another rule but the day that the
[24:18]Prophet took her to that room whose room was it not Zainab's
[24:21]but later it became Zainab's so the idea is LM sedima moved
[24:27]to another room and then later later the Prophet married Zainab in
[24:31]Hosea and people would refer to that room as her room it's
[24:36]unlikely but maybe it's a possibility sure so she was a very
[24:44]decent wife of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa we have hadith that
[24:52]state after Khadijah the best wife of the Prophet the most believing
[24:55]wife of the Prophet was of cinema they're happy the Sunni scholar
[24:59]he narrates that Aisha would frequently be jealous of her and therefore
[25:04]we find that when the prophets of Allah I wanna marry dome
[25:12]Salama she became extremely upset and she had heard that the Prophet
[25:16]has proposed he's going to marry her she became extremely upset then
[25:19]she's like let me have patience let me meet her and get
[25:26]to know her better so when she met her and she got
[25:30]to know her and her personality she became even more bitter towards
[25:33]of sentiment and she grew even more jealous of umm Salama and
[25:36]we have a hadith in the sahih bukhari and muslim from umm
[25:44]Salama from Aisha so I shall narrates this in Bukhari she says
[25:49]- ala ali yamin rasullullah sallallahu alayhi wa ala from me asha
[25:53]says one day the Prophet came to see me islet I in
[25:58]a continent and where were you all day today I have not
[26:03]seen you idea homina homina homina is the title for Aisha later
[26:06]when we examine more of Aisha's biography we'll examine what hemella means
[26:11]is this a term that is that the Prophet used to kind
[26:17]of spoil I sure as soon they say - basically it's a
[26:20]positive thing or the Prophet is referring to something else all examined
[26:24]that later Sharla he told Yahoo Mira content on Salomon I was
[26:29]with on Salomon she said according to Bihari Am I Batman on
[26:35]me Salomon don't you get enough of them Solana enough don't you
[26:39]get full of um cinema futaba-san masala lolli lolli so the Prophet
[26:44]just smiled so we find that there was some tension here in
[26:51]terms of jealousy own sin Emma was a woman whom the Prophet
[26:54]trusted her judgment and in fact sometimes he would consult her and
[26:57]he would go with her suggestion for instance we find in the
[27:05]dilemma of hudaibiya that treaty where the Prophet came towards Mecca and
[27:10]pagans blocked him from going and doing their pilgrimage they were in
[27:14]a Haram so the Prophet decided to make a peace treaty with
[27:18]the mushrikeen this is year six of the hegemon so the Prophet
[27:23]signs on a treaty okay we won't enter Mecca now we'll go
[27:26]back the Companions especially our wonderful table they become bitter and they
[27:31]challenge the Prophet and they told him this is not acceptable this
[27:36]is humiliation this is weakness we should fight them why did you
[27:42]accept and the Prophet was telling them let's get out of there
[27:44]on because we're blocked from going to Mecca now we've made an
[27:46]agreement not to go they blocked us I made the agreement let's
[27:50]just get out of their home and go back to Medina they
[27:52]refused yes this is our history read it they refused they're standing
[27:58]there no one moved these companions none of them move they're like
[28:01]no how am I going to get out of that hon this
[28:04]is humiliation for us it means we surrender to the pagans so
[28:07]the Prophet was in the tent and basically he was figuring out
[28:14]what to do with this dilemma umm Salama got disappointed she told
[28:17]them Jana sort of line don't listen to these companions you go
[28:21]out there out of the tent you shave your hair you put
[28:25]on your clothes and get out of that crap and just turn
[28:27]your face and go back to Medina they want to come they'll
[28:32]come they'll follow you don't try to convince them any more and
[28:34]try to have you know give them more time to about its
[28:39]it's a done deal allah has sanctioned this you're the Prophet you've
[28:42]made your decision that we're gonna stick to this peace treaty and
[28:44]we're gonna leave out of there huh so I asked you go
[28:49]out shave your head sacrifice the ship and just go the Prophet
[28:53]accepted her suggestion he found it as a very reasonable suggestion so
[28:57]while the companions were discussing this there's confusion there's controversy there's a
[29:03]dilemma here a lot of them are saying no some say yes
[29:08]let's follow the prophets orders suddenly they see the Prophet coming out
[29:11]of his tent he shaves his head he sacrifices the sheep wears
[29:14]his clothes I'm going to Medina and that effectively ended the dispute
[29:18]so this was an interesting suggestion that umm Salama made to the
[29:22]Prophet and we see the Prophet would actually care about her opinion
[29:27]he would see her a woman who had maturity and he would
[29:30]consult her in these matters and he accepted her suggestion so she
[29:34]really had a special status with the prophet sallahu aleihi won it
[29:38]not only that umm Salama was such an amazing woman that when
[29:43]she would ask about something allah found her worthy to respond to
[29:51]by revealing a verse in the quran so one day umm Salama
[29:54]asked the Prophet she told him yeah Rasul Allah how come there
[29:56]is no specific verse in the Quran mentioning women migrating we have
[30:02]verses that meant that praise companions who migrated from Mecca and Medina
[30:09]and made that sacrifice to support the Prophet but she's like there
[30:12]is no specific verse mentioning woman migrating drama she migrated a lot
[30:17]of other woman migrated so she wanted something from the Quran in
[30:21]which Allah is praising women specifically for their migration well what do
[30:27]you think happened Allah revealed verse 195 of surah al-e-imran first a
[30:32]job and a home on a bow home Allah answered their prayer
[30:35]and nila will do Ramallah I'm and I'm in command I can
[30:41]announce that I will not allow the work or deed of any
[30:44]of you to go to waste whether you're male or female if
[30:48]you did a good deed a lot we'll content see you Allah
[30:54]will not forget about your good deeds then Allah says fan Lavina
[31:00]ha Giroux what resume and erm what you do feel sabili walk
[31:04]ot new Rockefeller nan whom say you had say ya at him
[31:11]Allah says that as for those who migrated they were evicted from
[31:14]their homes they were exiled and they were harassed in my way
[31:17]I will give them the reward so unlock clearly mentions in this
[31:22]verse that if you're male or female Allah will compensate you so
[31:25]those of you who migrated whether male or female Allah will give
[31:29]you your deed so see how amazing of a woman she was
[31:35]she she asked the Prophet a question Allah decided I'm going to
[31:37]answer that for her I will reveal something in the Quran about
[31:43]that and this really shows you to those who object to the
[31:46]status of women in Islam see one woman inquires about one issue
[31:49]and she communicates her concern with the Prophet Allah reveals a verse
[31:57]and only Quran that's really big isn't that so much respect for
[32:00]a woman in Arabia this was inconceivable a lady your wife is
[32:03]saying something who cares Allah says I care your wife says something
[32:09]she asked a question reasonable question I give her the answer in
[32:11]the Quran and I will eternalize this till the day of judgement
[32:14]look at the respect of law against them yes mujadara yes the
[32:24]pleading woman and that shows you that Allah did care about these
[32:30]concerns yes insulting mujadara a woman came to the Prophet she was
[32:33]pleading complaining about her husband Allah documented that conversation in the Quran
[32:37]see how much Allah gives them status Allah saying look you your
[32:42]even your marital disputes I'm aware of it I see it be
[32:46]with me I'll be with you and Allah captures that conversation in
[32:49]the Quran see how much respect the lies giving to a woman
[32:51]because in that Arabian society a woman complaining from her husband there
[32:57]was nothing more silly than that in their eyes who cares big
[33:00]deal a woman complaining from her husband so what Allah reveals an
[33:04]entire chapter recognising that challenge and giving solutions see the beauty of
[33:10]the religion understand if more and more people just knew about this
[33:14]so yes that's another great example but really what we find amazing
[33:20]about home cinema and this is why the followers of any debate
[33:25]have so much respect for her as her special status with a
[33:28]debate she was one of those believers who stood with the a
[33:31]debate and she defended their rights so she observed the Quranic command
[33:39]to be with the a debate and to express her love the
[33:41]mo idea for the a debate and she implemented the will of
[33:47]the Prophet for on and my family she really stood by those
[33:49]two there is a hadith in the book of bahar that says
[33:54]umm Salama took care of imam hussain ali sanam after she was
[33:56]born so she had a special after he was born he had
[34:00]she had a special relationship with imam hussain after a man for
[34:04]satan was born she helped Lady Fatima Ali Salaam in caring for
[34:09]him in raising him so imagine how close she must have been
[34:12]to the a debate and in fact she was so close to
[34:17]the a debate that according to one hadith the Prophet sallallaahu anyone
[34:20]had told her she is from the a debate the Prophet told
[34:27]her umm Salama you're such a noble lady you are from us
[34:28]the a little bit just like the Prophet said to Salman Salman
[34:31]mineral bait right Salman is from us they added bait giving him
[34:37]that honorary title umm Salama also had the honor of achieving that
[34:42]honorary title there are a number of important Haditha of cinema has
[34:46]narrated the first one is the hadith el Casa or the verse
[34:51]of purification how it was revealed so tell me v tirmidhi which
[34:56]is the Sunni book of hadith narrates from omar bin ABY Salama
[35:00]who's Ahmad bin Abi cinema Omar the son of abu salim who
[35:06]who is he i'm sanna son so he's on Selina son who
[35:08]narrates this hadith he says when this verse was revealed in Amira
[35:14]de la Luna bank commercial bait with a helicopter Pyrrha allah has
[35:19]will to purify you they a debate a thorough purification and to
[35:24]keep any uncleanliness away from you he says this was in the
[35:28]house of umm Salama my mother the alidade were gathered there when
[35:31]Allah subhana WA Ta'ala revealed this verse and that's when he called
[35:39]on fatima hassan and husayn and Imam Ali Ali Salaam of course
[35:42]was there for jalena whom Mikasa and he covered them with the
[35:46]cloak and then he mentions in Timothy remember this is Sunnah hadith
[35:49]he mentions that umm Salama came she was so excited about this
[35:56]new position that Allah was given to the end of it she
[35:57]said ya rasulallah when I'm at home IANA be Allah am I
[36:03]also amongst this elevate the specific designation of Alan wait according to
[36:08]Timothy what did the Prophet say Carla auntie Alana mechanic you stay
[36:13]where you are what auntie Anna here you are on a good
[36:15]path he respectfully told her no politely said no you cannot join
[36:23]us under the cloak but you are on a good path you're
[36:25]a good woman so this is an hadith etem Salameh has narrated
[36:31]she testifies how the verse of purification was revealed and she testifies
[36:36]that what that only those were included the wives of the Prophet
[36:40]they're not included so we see her honesty there did you have
[36:45]a question another interesting hadith that umm Salama has mentioned in sunni
[36:52]sources such as the book Moustakas ah hain by the hakama nice
[36:55]abu bakar a bin saud tere abanazar cure different wordings and you
[37:01]know phrases but we'll go with the version of the most attack
[37:08]on the Sahin by al Hakim Aneesa bori so in this hadith
[37:13]umm Salama says one day the prophet salallahu alayhe wa ali he
[37:17]was lying down to sleep suddenly he awoke wahoo ha ha Aaron
[37:25]and he looked hesitant there was something disturbing him then he slept
[37:33]again then he woke up with feeling anxious like having anxiety and
[37:39]basically when I saw him the next time that he woke up
[37:45]he was holding in his hand a dust that looked reddish in
[37:53]its color red dust red soil in his hand and he would
[37:56]basically take it from this hand to the other hand inspecting him
[38:00]I said mojave heater but we oughta sue allah o messenger of
[38:04]allah what is this dust Bharani jabra yield jobra ill informed me
[38:09]that he and he pointed to her saying he shall be killed
[38:14]in iraq he shall be massacred so I told him jibra eel
[38:19]can you show me that dust on which my grandson her saying
[38:22]shall be killed so jibra eel got me some of that dust
[38:26]and he gave it to me I'm inspecting it in my hands
[38:28]who mentions this umm Salama in which sources Sony sources so she's
[38:34]one of the narrators of that special feature of the dust of
[38:38]Karbala and another hadith that a paparangi merits in his Mirjam Sunni
[38:43]historian had been a secured mentions in a study and a number
[38:46]of other you know historians this is also from on Salima she
[38:53]says canon hassan ii one for saying lovely Allah Allah Allah Allah
[38:56]vania vania Dana Bissell Allah Allahu Allah Hasan and Husayn were playing
[39:00]in the presence of the Prophet fee Beatty they were in my
[39:04]house Vanessa Rajab Rahil jobra l came and he told him o
[39:11]Muhammad your Ummah is going to kill this grandson after you and
[39:16]then and basically pointed to imam hussain ali Sarah Rebecca Rasul Allah
[39:21]the prophet cried and he held imam hussain he embraced him and
[39:26]he pressed him towards his chest then the Prophet says whadya tune
[39:30]in Dicky Hardy he toba-fushimi mahara soon Allah walk on Waiheke Benoit
[39:37]Bela the Prophet smelled the dust of Karbala and he says this
[39:43]is a land of trials and tribulations then he told on Solomon
[39:48]when he gave her the dust he told her on Selena I
[39:53]give you this as an Amana as a trust when you see
[39:55]that this dust turns blood yeah I'm sediment that how will it
[40:02]have a total bet to Denon if one day you see that
[40:04]this dust transforms into blood then know that my son has been
[40:11]killed I'm said I'm gonna put it in a container like a
[40:13]jar Narula and Arabic and she would look at it every single
[40:20]day after Imam Hussain left Medina and she would say one day
[40:23]you were going to turn into something great blood this is mentioned
[40:27]we're in Sydney services so you see that there's something special about
[40:31]the dust of Imams are saying those who are accused us of
[40:34]innovation here we have in your books the Prophet 60 years almost
[40:39]60 years before the martyrdom of Imam Hussain is crying on Imam
[40:42]Hussain and he even inspects the dust of Karbala and he smells
[40:47]it and he tells him said imma keep this as an Amana
[40:49]one day you will see it turn blunt but they've abandoned the
[40:55]sunnah of the prophet in showing that care and concern for Imam
[40:58]Hussain Hani Salaam today go to Masjid al-haram go to message hidden
[41:01]Abbey on the Day of Ashura you don't hear a word about
[41:06]Imam personally set up then how he was martyred unfortunately another hadith
[41:10]that umm Salama has narrated have you heard the hadith Ali you
[41:14]know al-quran one for anima Ali and they shall never separate until
[41:20]they meet me at the house at the pool on the day
[41:22]of judgement well she's one of the narrator's of this hadith and
[41:26]this is mentioned by Sunni sources by the way not she our
[41:30]sources even a secular entities domestic which is a Sunni source he
[41:34]mentions this hadith from ABI Thabet mullah abathur a booth abbot was
[41:42]a servant of a Buddha he says in this Sunni source the
[41:47]hell to Allah on miss Ellen I want to see home cinema
[41:50]so I saw her crying and remembering Ali ABI talib and I
[41:59]heard her say she as she was crying she says I the
[42:00]prophet sallallahu alayhi wa an estate Arion haqq is what the truth
[42:06]one hot Kimani and truth is what the heck and they shall
[42:09]never separate until the day of judgment so she's one of the
[42:11]narrator's of this very important hadith and hakama nice a buoy in
[42:19]animal static which is a very important source he says he narrates
[42:22]another hadith from who abou Sabbath the servant of a Buddha he
[42:30]says I was with Ali on the day of German but when
[42:31]I saw her on the other side I started having doubts so
[42:36]after the Prophet on the other side am I on the right
[42:40]side should I just leave the battle this is just a fitna
[42:42]but then at noon a lot removed all doubts from me and
[42:48]I knew to stand with Ali bin Abi Talib and Sarah he
[42:53]says then later I went to Medina and I came to umm
[42:54]Salama I visited on cinnamon I told her look I'm I have
[42:59]not come here to for you to feed me or give me
[43:02]any money or have any Hodja I don't need anything from you
[43:04]but I want to tell you something Jimin this is what happened
[43:10]initially I had doubts but then I felt confident that I should
[43:13]fight with Adi and I fought with Adi what do you say
[43:16]you're the wife of the Prophet you must have heard many things
[43:18]about the Prophet in your private home so tell me she told
[43:24]him I sent you did good by siding with Ali I heard
[43:30]the prophet sallallaahu anyone say Ali is with the Quran and the
[43:34]Quran is with Ali so your decision to stand with Ali ibn
[43:39]ABI Taleb it's something that was sanctioned by the prophet sallallaahu any
[43:43]money and this is where it sunni sources that demonstrates imam ali
[43:46]ali sallam was on the hug and we have by the way
[43:51]many many other narrations and can do ZL Hanafi he mentions in
[43:53]his book he and I be annoyed that beautiful hadith from umm
[43:59]Salama about the virtues of imam ali ali salaam and how the
[44:02]Prophet says you know - um Selim and he tells her yeah
[44:07]I'm said I'm a ha da I need you happy oh I'm
[44:08]selling I follow and love Ali of Nebulon him laughs a woman
[44:12]laughing his flesh is from my flesh his blood is from my
[44:16]blood he carries my knowledge and until the end of the hadith
[44:20]she mentions the virtues and she would narrate that the prophet many
[44:26]many times especially at night when people were sleeping he would bring
[44:30]Ali bin Abi Talib to her house to her room and he
[44:32]would tell her umm Salama can he go to the neighbouring room
[44:35]I have a private discussion with Ali ibn ABI Talib and I
[44:37]would see them in the darkness of the night I said I
[44:41]would hear the Prophet whispering whispering whispering - Ali I'm not violent
[44:45]later I would ask him what is that the Prophet would say
[44:49]I am giving my knowledge to alia Navi father from Santana also
[44:52]testifies to that how close the Prophet was to Imam Ali on
[44:58]a sauna after the prophets death she was really a woman of
[45:02]honor never never was she intimidated by the evil ones and in
[45:05]our next class we'll examine what she did at federic when Abu
[45:08]black confiscated Frederick from Lady Fatima and he claimed that the Prophet
[45:13]does not leave inheritance she was so courageous she stood in his
[45:19]face but she paid a price that year her salary from the
[45:22]public floods abu but cut it off because of the stats we'll
[45:24]examine that and some other aspects of her life in sha allah
[45:30]o allah allah allah sayidina muhammad ey i hurry
