[2:32]and welcome to imam hussain tv3 [Music] hey [Music] hey [Music] am
[3:42][Music] i am [Music] um if you were to tell a muslim
[5:20]today that a prophet of god and the quran was drunk or
[5:22]a prophet of god in the quran had incest with his two
[5:28]daughters or a prophet of god in the quran was an adulterer
[5:29]or was found naked you'll find that many muslims would find this
[5:33]blasphemous yet in the bible all of these stories exist about personalities
[5:41]who are seen as the most righteous to have ever walked on
[5:45]the earth and did you find if i'm going to reconstruct a
[5:48]biography of jesus son of mary the question arises do i use
[5:54]the quran or do i use the bible the christian world will
[5:57]say to me you have to use the bible for the bible
[6:00]is that text that had come with christ whereas i come back
[6:05]and i look within the bible and i see that while there
[6:09]is an overlap between the quran and the bible i find certain
[6:12]prophets of god in the quran end up being naked and drunk
[6:17]i find certain prophets of god in the bible end up being
[6:21]naked and drunk whereas in the quran this would be seen as
[6:25]being blasphemous because for us especially the school of liberty in particular
[6:29]we believe that the prophets of god according to the likes of
[6:36]our great theologians such as were error free were sinless were infallible
[6:43]i stress on the school of aid because tomorrow i'll see whether
[6:49]other schools in islam are ready to say that certain prophets committed
[6:53]some of these acts but for us the shia the school of
[6:58]elves for us prophets of god are sent by god to be
[7:04]an exemplar for us at the end of the day if god
[7:05]says to me that i have to worship him and god says
[7:09]to me that i have to live a righteous life if god
[7:13]doesn't send prophets then i would ask who is the example for
[7:17]me to follow naturally therefore when we look at prophethood within islam
[7:21]the idea of prophethood is that there are a set of personalities
[7:26]who come to nations these personalities when they come to nations come
[7:31]and speak on behalf of god they are the manifestations of god's
[7:38]attributes on the earth they are the best examples for people to
[7:41]follow i am instructed and ordered by my lord to obey them
[7:48]in absolutely everything that they do every act that they do every
[7:51]word that they say all of these i take a sunan from
[7:58]these prophets of god of course not all these prophets are at
[8:01]the same level there are prophets who the quran mentions some are
[8:06]greater than others ultimately for example nabi idris can never be as
[8:12]great as salam because the holy prophet muhammad arch prophets of god
[8:24]in one way they've come with a universal message in another they've
[8:30]come with a sharia a book a guidance to mankind so therefore
[8:33]the quran doesn't say every prophet is on the same level we
[8:39]admit but you can still have when it comes to the prophets
[8:41]of god like we have for example if i give the most
[8:44]trivial example you'll see in class everybody got a star in the
[8:49]class but somebody got 81 and somebody got 99.
[8:53]on the exam paper it says a star but somebody scraped an
[8:59]a star whereas somebody else perfected an a star likewise when it
[9:03]comes to the prophets of allah the prophets of god when i
[9:09]look at them adam and noah and abraham and david and jacob
[9:11]and isaac and jesus and moses all of these prophets to me
[9:18]on the a-star level but there is a difference in the ones
[9:20]where god may have given more insight to some over the others
[9:26]but one thing that's clear about them is that all of them
[9:30]have been guided by allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in surat al-anam saw
[9:35]the sixth of the holy quran you'll find that god makes it
[9:37]clear when he says we're the ones who chose them and we
[9:49]are the ones who have guided them on the right path if
[9:52]one of these prophets turns out to be a drunkard i then
[9:56]ask god the question that god you're meant to be the all-powerful
[9:58]you couldn't guide us with somebody who could stay away from alcohol
[10:03]as in there are human beings on this earth who've lived their
[10:08]whole lives without drinking alcohol once there are certain football players who
[10:11]have never ever touched alcohol never gone near it and you're telling
[10:17]me a prophet of god was a drunkard there are human beings
[10:21]in this world and many of them who will never end up
[10:23]sleeping with their two daughters never they won't go near it they
[10:28]won't sleep with a single member of their family there are some
[10:30]who won't even marry their cousins and they see that when muslims
[10:33]marry their cousins they say even that we abhor but if i
[10:37]find that there's a righteous person mentioned in the bible who ends
[10:40]up sleeping with his daughters how then can i trust this as
[10:43]the book to tell me about the life of jesus son of
[10:47]mary therefore you found that when a person came forward and said
[10:51]the bible is the book of god not the quran i turn
[10:54]around by saying that if i was to look at the representation
[10:58]of the prophets in the bible and the representation of the prophets
[11:02]in the quran then i'd rather go with the quranic representation than
[11:05]the biblical this doesn't mean as i've always stressed that i cannot
[11:10]learn about jesus from the bible i can there are many good
[11:12]lines to take from the bible but can i trust the bible
[11:16]wholeheartedly if i come across such stories can i really turn around
[11:22]and say that the book has not been affected or altered or
[11:24]tempered of course that's not to say that within the quran you
[11:29]cannot find verses which make you skeptical about certain things the quran
[11:33]it comes in a context the bible comes in a context the
[11:36]quran does not emerge from a vacuum nor does the bible but
[11:41]at the same time there's a reality there is a set standard
[11:43]for prophets in the quran they are always the people of the
[11:48]people of good the people of the people of sincerity and the
[11:54]class they are the people who you will always see as being
[11:57]the most righteous and the best examples hence jesus son of mary
[12:03]is a method rasulullah the holy prophet muhammad peace be upon him
[12:09]in a number of portions of his life when i therefore look
[12:13]at that i come to a conclusion that if i look in
[12:19]the bible someone said muhammad copied the bible when you come to
[12:22]some of the stories of the prophets you see that there's no
[12:26]way that he copied the bible because the way some of these
[12:29]prophets are depicted is complete antithesis to what the quran depicts let
[12:33]us tonight have a glimpse a couple of prophets in the bible
[12:38]and the way they looked at and the way they looked at
[12:41]within the quran and i'd like to do this in the following
[12:43]stages number one if adam committed a sin then how could prophets
[12:47]also not for them the trap of sinning and what is the
[12:51]argument back for this number two how fundamental is allowing wine in
[12:59]the bible in the effect on a certain community or a certain
[13:03]person's character and why does the quran make it clear that whether
[13:07]you have a sip of wine or you have a lot of
[13:10]wine all of it is prohibited and certainly would not be part
[13:13]of the behavior of the prophets of god number three how did
[13:18]no end up naked and drunk in front of his own sons
[13:23]and is this something fitting for a prophet of god number four
[13:28]which righteous man in the bible and a prophet in the quran
[13:32]ended up being drunk and also sleeping with his two daughters and
[13:37]how does the quran reply to such accusations number five the quran
[13:44]was against alcohol and against the drinking of wine but did the
[13:48]muslim community end up having drunkards in power on all and if
[13:51]they did how long was the legacy of these drunks who sat
[13:56]at the helm of the prophet's religion and how did their alcoholic
[14:00]ways end up destroying the very guidance that the prophet had left
[14:06]behind let's examine this and dissect the topic in depth someone says
[14:08]from the beginning that listen you have adam and we have adam
[14:14]you say that adam left heaven and the bible says adam left
[14:19]heaven and both of you make a story about him listening to
[14:23]satan therefore how could you say prophets cannot commit sins or are
[14:26]shown in a bad light when you both agree on an adam's
[14:31]sin because this is a very important point even many of our
[14:34]brothers and sisters in the community always ask this question that if
[14:37]nabi adam is then how is it that nabi adam ended up
[14:40]being a sinner the quran even uses certain wordings where adam pleads
[14:46]to god for forgiveness sometimes when we go to arafah you find
[14:49]some people say adam was here and arafat adam asked god for
[14:52]forgiveness and arafat adam stayed for a long time asking allah for
[14:57]forgiveness so therefore the bible when the bible says that later on
[15:03]was a sinner dawood was a sinner lord was a sinner yakub
[15:06]was a sinner all of these had committed sins in one way
[15:11]or the other so what's wrong you say adam did we made
[15:13]it very clear that yes the story of adam exists in the
[15:17]bible and the story of adam exists within the holy quran for
[15:20]us there is a difference when it comes to the bible we
[15:25]said that adam lays the blame on eve and then god decides
[15:28]to punish all the females and by the way this punishment of
[15:32]the females continues when we come to the story of lord and
[15:35]what made lord or lot become bad but anyway when it comes
[15:42]here adam blames eve eve is blamed by god firstly secondly we
[15:46]look at it and we find that the quran doesn't look at
[15:51]it in that way the quran says that that area where they
[15:53]were was not an area where you can commit a sin for
[15:58]goodness sake even on the most basic level if i'm in heaven
[15:59]heaven is not a place for sin true yes it's not the
[16:05]heaven that's insha allah will go to after we pass away but
[16:07]heaven is not a place for sin if someone told you nabi
[16:11]adam where was he when he at the supposed apple say he
[16:13]was in heaven so how can he be a sinner when you're
[16:16]in that heavenly abode that heavenly abode was not the world of
[16:19]taklife it wasn't the world of responsibility there was no sharia to
[16:23]follow it was an induction program for adam alaihissalam and he was
[16:30]the one who set the induction for the other prophets of god
[16:35]because ibrahim could always look at adam noah could look at adam
[16:38]joseph could look at adam who could adam look up to reality
[16:40]is adam iblees was there with him satan and when satan had
[16:46]made it made one statement i swear by allah that if you
[16:49]go near that tree nothing will happen to you now in our
[16:54]communities today everyone says i swear by allah and it turns out
[16:56]to be a lie wallah i did this he said that i
[17:02]mean that and some of us what we do cleverly when we
[17:04]want to lie we change the last letter one luck one one
[17:09]last because we are looking at our parent we're like if i
[17:14]say one then my parents will know the time so i said
[17:17]one some people do that but at that time iblis was the
[17:22]first to swear by what was the swear to the first to
[17:24]swear by allah and i imam al-baqara salaam was asked that how
[17:28]is it that nabi adam a prophet of allah could be affected
[17:34]by satan's words i thought that shaytan no shaytan could never affect
[17:38]a prophet after that induction program shaiban himself admits look at the
[17:50]way he speaks to god with respect by your majesty oh allah
[17:53]i'll deceive all of them except those who are free from the
[17:57]need to sin adam therefore was not a sinner but this adam's
[18:03]sin became fundamental when it came to christianity why for two reasons
[18:07]the first reason was then we were taught that we're all born
[18:12]sinners because of adam's sin isn't that true why i differ with
[18:16]christianity not because i want to differ with christianity i repeat i'm
[18:20]talking about the religion not the people the people many of them
[18:23]are wonderful but why i differ with christianity is on the original
[18:28]sin original sin adam commits the sin that means i'm born a
[18:32]sinner you're born a sinner he's born a senator i say brother
[18:34]wait wait wait wait wait wait are you telling me that i'm
[18:38]born a sinner because of a sin that took place thousands of
[18:40]years ago so what's it got to do with me if there's
[18:45]a crime that's taken place now in toronto and i'm here in
[18:47]london what have i got to do with the crime that's taking
[18:50]place tonight so no no no but you're from the same race
[18:54]or the same gender as that person if in toronto does something
[18:57]how's that to blame on me if someone for example who's male
[19:03]does something in canada how's that to do with me they said
[19:06]no adam committed the sin we're all born sinners jesus christ came
[19:10]and died for our sins i reply by asking one question what
[19:17]was adam born adam committed a sin we were all born sinners
[19:26]where what was adam one pure that means we're all born pure
[19:34]as well adam committed a sin but did not was not born
[19:36]a sinner adam was born pure adam was born free adam was
[19:42]born on the fifth order of allah the way he creates man
[19:45]with the primordial nature the idea that jesus christ came to die
[19:49]for my sins because i am a sinner because of a man
[19:55]who committed a sin but i asked that man who god created
[19:59]that man who got fashioned in his own image what was he
[20:02]born he was born pure so the first ramifications of adam in
[20:07]the biblical story is that what is that adam was a sinner
[20:09]we all quit sins jesus came to die for our sin secondly
[20:13]adam was kicked out of heaven whereas in the quran allah had
[20:16]already said inni for us adam was not kicked out of heaven
[20:22]rather for us allah had already said he's going to be my
[20:26]representative on the earth but he'll go through an induction program so
[20:29]we may clear to him we may clear to him his wife
[20:33]his progeny his generations who their enemies are that was number two
[20:37]but number three the bigger problem was what was that if adam
[20:39]could sin so other prophets could sin if adam could commit a
[20:44]sin so there are other nbr who could sin because you know
[20:46]there are certain muslims who even in defending a khalifa will say
[20:51]well if the prophet committed a sin though what's wrong with the
[20:54]khalifah if he commits a sin baba wait allah said so we
[21:03]are the ones who chose them we are the ones who guide
[21:08]them towards the right path the same lord who tells me obey
[21:11]allah and obey the prophet well if i obey the prophet you
[21:15]are asking to obey the prophet means the prophet must be infallible
[21:17]how then if i obey a prophet who's ending up committing a
[21:22]sin if a prophet ends up drinking alcohol then alcohol becomes normal
[21:25]for me if the prophet ends up drinking wine then wine becomes
[21:27]normal for me and that's why you find the base of the
[21:32]problems when it comes to the prophets in the bible in contrast
[21:35]to the quran is that some of these prophets could become the
[21:40]most immoral people and still be called people chosen by god you
[21:45]look in the bible if you see many christians today they always
[21:49]say to you jesus turned water into wine why bubba what is
[21:54]water into wine why the need for this okay so this is
[21:56]your belief not just that paul tells timothy what does he say
[22:01]to him not always water have some wine little wine good for
[22:04]the stomach because you know some muslims will also say that but
[22:08]just some wine is good it removes heart attack and it helps
[22:10]us with our life there are muslims who will come forward and
[22:16]say that there is no problem having wine or alcohol as long
[22:18]as it's for a little bit because it may cure some of
[22:24]our illnesses christians today christians in the world with a crucifix on
[22:31]their necklace or a rosary bead but still for them wine important
[22:34]i'll call the point say why say hold on if the lord
[22:38]turned water into wine and if paul tells timothy that a little
[22:42]bit of wine is not too much of an issue yes because
[22:46]wine is mentioned over 200 times in the bible how many true
[22:50]over 200 times wine is in the bible drunk the word is
[22:57]mentioned over 60 times in the bible wine so what does the
[23:02]christian say to me he says listen wine is allowed but not
[23:06]you becoming drunk because proverbs 23 talks about these people who if
[23:11]they reach that level that's a level of immorality and a level
[23:13]of sin but have a little wine i ask you the question
[23:17]how much is a little in reality how much is a little
[23:19]are you telling me sincerely that you believe in a jesus who
[23:24]allowed society to relatively come to a conclusion what is a little
[23:28]how many people we've seen in history they thought i'll start with
[23:34]a glass or a mix with another fizzy drink mix it pour
[23:36]a bit of red ball put a bit of alcohol mix it
[23:39]with a bit of coke let's mix it what's the issue and
[23:43]then you get tempted by some of your university friends what's wrong
[23:45]with you why don't you drink sometimes the peer pressure begins to
[23:48]affect you and then they tell you just have a little a
[23:52]little that night how many have come home and said you know
[23:54]what i can't remember what i did last night but you're not
[23:58]normally that bad i don't know yesterday i was tipsy yesterday i
[24:02]just let go why when a religion like christianity has a bible
[24:08]that says to you a little not a problem the lord even
[24:13]in the temple give out wine when we're having a meal with
[24:15]one another what's that gonna result in and that's why you'll find
[24:18]some nations in the world today they are devout in their love
[24:22]for the lord and their love for jesus but when they want
[24:27]to drink they can drink you go to parts of ireland or
[24:31]you go to parts of south america you'll see people who have
[24:35]a devotion to jesus son of mary but if they want to
[24:37]have a drink they can have a good time and not just
[24:40]them i wish it was just them even the priests of the
[24:45]religion the ones who you'd say are the ones who are meant
[24:48]to look after the religion meant to look after the faith and
[24:50]then people turn around say but only a little how many went
[24:55]further how many a car crash killed how many molested a child
[24:57]how many beat people because of alcohol alcohol the quran wanted to
[25:03]make look at the difference in the quran in the bible bible
[25:06]says a little is good for the stomach the quran says what
[25:10]yes moon quran says they ask you about alcohol what should the
[25:24]reply be say it is one of the greatest sins but it
[25:27]has some benefits yes alcohol and it's different usages can be i've
[25:32]seen people who may use it for perfume people use it for
[25:34]medicine people use it for manufacturing people can use alcohol for its
[25:38]benefits but it's positives no they do not outweigh its negatives that
[25:51]the quran said alcohol is what is part of the impurities of
[26:00]satan wine alcohol all of these i do not deny that there
[26:02]are some who can control how much they drink i do not
[26:06]deny that there are some who even if they drink a lot
[26:07]cannot get drunk but how beneficial is it to society how much
[26:15]detriment to society therefore the bible if i want to reconstruct jesus
[26:18]from the bible the bible's telling me out wine he is involved
[26:22]in spreading he is involved in giving out how could a man
[26:28]chosen by god if not you call him god if not the
[26:32]son of god if not the spirit of god how could he
[26:33]be a man who finds it normal to give out wine to
[26:38]a public which themselves cannot control their desires and many things how
[26:41]are they going to control with that and that's why not just
[26:44]he gives out wine but he has prophets and righteous men who
[26:48]came before him who were known to have been drunkards prophet in
[26:58]the quran how high is he in the quran a servant who's
[27:07]always grateful he is from whom from our servants who is a
[27:15]believer yes the quran says the world's the universe is all glory
[27:21]and praise to noah alaihissalam noah for us was a prophet of
[27:29]god he came with the noahide laws a shariah and he came
[27:33]for example to the people say them stay away from idolatry message
[27:36]number one blasphemy theft adultery hurting your parents you see the seven
[27:43]noah hide laws go and read them he tried to build the
[27:48]society that was the purest of society but with him as being
[27:50]the role model you see if the man himself is telling us
[27:54]not to be sinners i don't expect to find him one day
[27:59]drunk and naked do i never know i'm going tonight genesis 9
[28:03]how can i reconstruct jesus's life when those asm prophets before jesus
[28:12]are found naked and drunk how how can i as a christian
[28:15]reach a conclusion that someone chosen by god lies naked and drunk
[28:21]when some of us in our whole lives who are not prophets
[28:23]chosen by allah will never be naked and drunk and not just
[28:31]naked and drunk naked and drunk where naked and drunk in front
[28:34]of their children there are certain people in the world today you'll
[28:42]find that these people in the world today wouldn't even be naked
[28:44]in front of their children they'll stay away from being naked from
[28:46]their children have you ever you asked many people out there have
[28:50]you ever seen your parents naked in front of you saying for
[28:53]allah never you've seen your parents drunk and when they say drunk
[28:57]my parents would never be of that type yet genesis 9 takes
[29:01]us to a drunk noah noah who had come to his people
[29:05]and said to them stay away from idolatry worship the one god
[29:07]after that he made it clear to them that god is unhappy
[29:11]with your rudeness towards me about these people were so rude they
[29:19]put their imagine you're talking to somebody and it falls literally on
[29:22]deaf ears their fingers they place them in their ears they put
[29:26]their clothes covering when he'd come to speak let me know because
[29:29]he was being mocked by his people god decided that that's it
[29:34]and noah said to them he made a warning to them ask
[29:36]god for forgiveness the reigns will pour down upon you you'll be
[29:43]sustained god will give you more and more from wealth and from
[29:45]children what else do you want i'm telling you just ask forgiveness
[29:48]because remember you can't have the flood of nabi unless a warning
[29:53]has been given it's only when he came with the warning to
[29:57]his people and opened the door for toba and these people were
[30:01]mocking him you stupid this you're a fool you're this you're that
[30:04]for allah the people who are arrogant towards him very well i'll
[30:08]build an ark and that ark whoever boards it is saved and
[30:13]whoever leaves it is of those who drowns and subhanallah rasool allah
[30:22]say the example of the ark of noah my little beta i
[30:25]like that example how in the sense that if you bored on
[30:33]the ship of al muhammad subhana will make sure that you are
[30:37]saved and if you leave that ship what happens to you you're
[30:38]drowned you hold on to al muhammad for they are the ark
[30:44]of salvation compared to the ark of noah because the and that's
[30:51]why north story is mentioned in the quran so much why because
[30:55]the prophet faced the same mushriks as nabi did and the same
[31:00]way they made fun of they made fun of rasulullah and the
[31:02]same way they weren't listening to them what they were listening to
[31:05]and that's why god wants to remind him that that great prophet
[31:10]that righteous man he kept on telling him be like him but
[31:16]remember one thing you're gonna live for 63 years he lived for
[31:20]a couple of thousand he had an unbelievable patience eventually those who
[31:25]boarded with him where's the difference in the bible in the quran
[31:27]in the quran and the bible the bible says his whole family
[31:32]boarded with him what does the quran say does the quran say
[31:36]his whole family boarded with him on the ark no his wife
[31:38]was a backstabber because you could be a prophet of god and
[31:43]your wife could be a lady who is an enemy of god
[31:45]just because you're a prophet it doesn't mean your wife has to
[31:50]be a good person nabi lord never what do they have in
[31:52]common with each other that both of them were prophets whose wives
[31:58]backstabbed them and their families did his wife join him on the
[32:04]ark no did his son join him and knowledge his son did
[32:07]not join him on the ark they did not the bible no
[32:11]bible says they all bought it the quran makes the difference of
[32:13]course if you're telling me the prophet copied then he should have
[32:16]got that one right now therefore they boarded let's say the flood
[32:19]went on for how many months let's say for example five-month flood
[32:24]until eventually they came to shore you come to shore nebula has
[32:27]just been shown glory by allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala hasn't he and his
[32:31]lord has made it clear to him never again will this happen
[32:35]and the rainbows and all that discussion so what ends up with
[32:38]no ends up being someone who plants a vineyard as you do
[32:42]as a prophet masha allah you plant a vineyard pressing the graves
[32:45]until one day his son ham comes and sees knocked out drunk
[32:52]naked you you as a christian as a christian you accept that
[32:59]would be out there drunk naked you know what some christians say
[33:06]god reveals people's struggles and trials and so we can relate to
[33:14]them more listen there's many i can relate to but prophets of
[33:17]god i'd expect god to have done a good job with them
[33:20]and being the best examples for us there are leaders of our
[33:23]communities who are not chosen by god who lived as moral people
[33:25]and a man who is chosen by god like noah his son
[33:30]ham sees him nay kid tent and he's just lying there drunk
[33:39]and you want me to say that christianity i have to take
[33:44]the bible to reconstruct christ no and that's why i say the
[33:47]quran is the criteria what then happens nor has another a number
[33:52]of sons and of them shem and japheth come they come with
[33:55]a covering so that they don't look at their father but the
[33:59]poor son who looked at his father his father cursed his generations
[34:03]because you looked at a prophet naked your generations are all cursed
[34:08]they all become slaves and people started to make conclusions that black
[34:11]people are from that generation of ham because they were cursed by
[34:14]god noah therefore drunk naked son sees him other sanzi and stuff
[34:24]for allah how the story continues with even certain people talk about
[34:27]what did the son do when he saw his dad naked at
[34:31]that moment there are people who went on to say further things
[34:34]which i don't even want to mention so therefore what you find
[34:39]never know in the bible drunk naked in that state in the
[34:43]quran do we have anything like that how can i and that's
[34:50]why one of the names of the quran is the criteria the
[35:10]criteria for a prophet's biography like jesus moses noah darwood is the
[35:15]quran for me because it's not just known as or quran but
[35:21]it's also known as and then what did the quran but genesis
[35:44]9 tells me that this is the state of the prophet of
[35:50]allah whereas the quran says righteous believer grateful honorable humble the universe
[35:55]calls out his name allows him and that's why when hollywood done
[36:01]the film recently about nebuchadnezzar you saw the depiction depiction was this
[36:05]guy who's lost it this guy who's baffled this guy who's all
[36:08]over the place far away from the way that school of age
[36:13]especially within their hadith would depict a prophet of allah so on
[36:16]the one hand who do we have nabi on the other hand
[36:20]another prophet of god in islam and a righteous person within christian
[36:24]history who ended up sleeping with his daughters related to ibrahim he
[36:35]was living where sodom and gomorrah and then eventually leave zor sodom
[36:40]and gomorrah what were they known for they were known for same
[36:44]gender relations that the people the men in the area all started
[36:48]having relations with one another yes the men in the area had
[36:55]relations with one another and so because of that lord kept on
[36:57]speaking out against these men nabil islam kept on saying that this
[37:02]is not the way that god created the male and the female
[37:04]the male has boundaries the female has boundaries the male should not
[37:09]exceed these values because we know in islam you could be male
[37:11]and female and you can still exceed the boundaries it's not about
[37:14]male male female female in islam i could be a male and
[37:19]i could be with a female in a haram way yes my
[37:21]have laws for what i can engage in as a male and
[37:25]a female has laws what she could engage in but sodom and
[37:30]gomorrah's story was in the bible sodom and gomorrah story is in
[37:33]the quran navilate talks to the people of his community and tells
[37:39]them to stay away from such an act and that's why judaism
[37:44]and islam the jewish bible of course where the story is mentioned
[37:49]of nebulae in genesis 19 the story of the jewish bible and
[37:54]the story of the quran judaism and islam until today make it
[37:57]clear that this particular idea of male male female female relations is
[38:03]something which is prohibited in the laws of the jewish community but
[38:07]there should be no rootness towards people of such ways in our
[38:14]culture or in our communities when we live in these countries people
[38:17]at the end of the day have all decided to have their
[38:20]own path and perspective they want to ask us about our laws
[38:22]we can answer but never show hate to a human being because
[38:26]of whichever way or direction they're heading what happened him and his
[38:37]two daughters yep now everything has been finished destruction he goes and
[38:41]lives where out of fear in reality goes to the mountains him
[38:45]and his two daughters they're in a cave in the mountains and
[38:49]what do the daughters start to discuss with each other everyone in
[38:54]life has to have kids people get married and have kids but
[38:58]we've just been part of a community that wasn't interested in us
[39:03]and if we go to another community we fear for ourselves so
[39:07]what's the best thing to do let's get our dad drunk and
[39:11]sleep with him i want to ask the pastors in the world
[39:16]of christianity while i say this from my heart not as someone
[39:23]being judgmental on another religion how in god's name do you justify
[39:28]a prophet being made drunk and having both his daughter sleep with
[39:34]him how you explain to me from a million angles by the
[39:37]way a million ankles if sodom and gomorrah were turned upside down
[39:42]because of what they did how comes lord's daughters weren't turned upside
[39:45]down or made into a pillar of salt like their mom was
[39:51]when they made their dad become drunk intoxicated their dad and then
[39:56]slept with him the elder daughter tells the younger one that we
[40:00]need to have kids we need to procreate and so therefore we
[40:04]can have to make sure that we have something and the only
[40:10]man available is him so what do you suggest so just let's
[40:12]make him drunk and then i'll sleep with him now i want
[40:17]to ask you a question first night the elder daughter slept with
[40:21]lord yes then she told the younger one now it's your turn
[40:24]i did it now it's you i asked you nebula i've got
[40:29]made drunk on the first someone put something in his drink and
[40:34]here for allah let's say it happen normally you wake up from
[40:38]that blackout don't you it's like what's happened what's going on something's
[40:43]not normal has he fallen from the same trap twice there are
[40:46]humans in the world who are not righteous men who are not
[40:50]prophets who know when things have gone wrong that night yes lord
[40:54]his eldest daughter ends up getting him drunk sleeps with him and
[40:59]then she has her generation and then the younger daughter ends up
[41:04]getting her dad drunk and then she sleeps with him and there
[41:08]is an ancestral relationship between one of the most righteous men is
[41:12]this what the quran says who ended up being what who ended
[41:51]up being somebody with his daughters muhammad in the bible drunk with
[42:39]your daughters how could a book claim to be one of the
[42:45]books of god that ends up now what how could this happen
[42:47]i've given a lot of benefits of the doubt to the bible
[42:51]in this whole series but i ask the question surely you ask
[42:53]yourself how is it a story in the bible reach that level
[42:56]how and how then can someone want alcohol to be part of
[43:02]society when alcohol results in this if alcohol in society results in
[43:07]this then do you now understand why islam is so strict on
[43:09]alcohol i'm not going to tell you that muslims don't drink muslims
[43:12]do there are muslims in the world who do and they don't
[43:15]care about the laws but surely how could you say someone like
[43:22]alaihissalam will be of those who would drink alcohol for us as
[43:24]muslims therefore with that story do we accept it no not at
[43:28]all we reject it why because we say this is a prophet
[43:30]of allah subhana wa a prophet of god god is the one
[43:36]who guides god's the one who protects hence when god talked about
[43:39]the holy prophet peace be upon him he said away from you
[43:51]all impurities oh family of the prophet and purify you a thought
[43:54]of purification he purified lord he purified noah he purified jesus son
[44:02]of mary never ever would we believe that jesus son of mary
[44:06]would drink alcohol or pass out alcohol i want to reconstruct the
[44:10]biography of jesus but i don't want to do it by putting
[44:15]my prophet down my prophet would never be someone who would go
[44:19]around giving wine and alcohol to a society that only a few
[44:23]drinks can make them destroy the whole of their community islam said
[44:27]what islam said that alcohol was one of the impurities of shaytan
[44:32]and you'd think that the prophet peace be upon him how much
[44:37]he stressed alcohol's haram alcohol is one of the biggest sins you'd
[44:39]think that his community would be a community which would stay away
[44:44]from alcohol his community would be one that would never let someone
[44:47]sit in power who is known to be an alcoholic or known
[44:52]to be a drunkard yes you'd think his community would always have
[44:56]someone righteous someone pious someone who looks after the word of god
[45:00]subhanallah rasulullah after you passed away within 20 odd years governors of
[45:07]your religion were leading salah drunk imagine we say the christians allowed
[45:14]alcohol islam had governors who were drunk an open sinner for his
[45:46]blatant lies against many muslim if now the quran calls you a
[45:50]faster would you ever make that person if you look at the
[45:53]cv name occupation faster would you give him the job what allah
[45:57]would you give him a job would any of us give this
[46:00]person a job our mind will have fun because he's in law
[46:02]he's in law of uthman we'll have fun go read your history
[46:07]read your history for the love of mankind everyone got away with
[46:12]everything us made him governor of kofa okay governor of kufa let's
[46:17]say someone for sake of argument toba was done or aren't going
[46:19]wrong later yes no problem easiest prayer to pray true few minutes
[46:30]and you're done that's it you lead salatin in kufa which is
[46:36]a bastion no born in kufa no bariten kufa nabi no look
[46:41]what your religion and the religion of rasulallah became here what did
[46:47]we have this man leading satan fajr asked any muslim in the
[46:51]world today oh brother-in-law of uthman governor this man is so drunk
[47:02]a quran that came to get us away from the world where
[47:07]alcohol was good and passed around in the temple became a quran
[47:11]protected by a drunkard leading prayer to a fajr became four how
[47:17]drunk must you be to make salat in fajr for you gotta
[47:21]be out of your head most people don't even finish vegeta most
[47:24]of them wake up for you to pray for and then at
[47:27]the end of the fourteenth and i said shall continue how drunk
[47:30]must you be for you to be someone who leads you'd think
[47:34]uthman hafan would remove him i just said remove him nothing said
[47:40]remove him and that's why people say jamal is between ali and
[47:45]aja no the reality is already spoken out against uthman before they
[47:51]used uthman's shirt as an excuse against imam amir muhammad they had
[47:56]spoken out how could this person a drunkard a drunkard is not
[47:59]meant to represent god's religion a drunkard is meant to be someone
[48:05]who looks after god's word looks after it with the best of
[48:07]prince of a person who leads god's regime to look after the
[48:09]best of principles uthman wouldn't remove him until the imam alabama of
[48:14]course come here come here how dare you think you could get
[48:17]away with it met out the lashing against him met out the
[48:22]lashing of course for these people when they latched by amir and
[48:24]meaning what happens when they're lashed by amir and minion what ends
[48:29]up happening they come back and they show hatred towards amir al-m
[48:40]you stay away from alcohol and yet fifty years after rasool allah
[48:45]died his grandson's head is in a ball next to an alcoholic
[48:53]in sham imagine a ball next to an alcoholic in sham imam
[48:57]al-hussein is here yes it has alcohol here yes it's alcohol sits
[49:03]here the head of the grandson of the man who bought the
[49:06]religion is next to him on that side one poet describes this
[49:12]beautifully you know what he says he says silk and alcohol sit
[49:17]on the throne in sham while knowledge lay on the earth of
[49:20]kerbella it's so true that's insham what did you have you had
[49:26]silk sitting there the robes you had alcohol sitting there while in
[49:30]karbala a body of knowledge lay on the ground and i wish
[49:36]i wish the alcoholics stopped at kerbela i wish if they stopped
[49:40]at karbala you say that there is where the end was replaced
[49:45]by benue abbas and banu abbas how many of their alcohol was
[49:50]the norm for them they were leaving the muslims they have alcohol
[49:55]in their drinking while a man like most of the jaffa is
[49:58]in prison with no one there to show him any care or
[50:03]concern and that's why you see ali ibn swade he used to
[50:06]come and visit imam musa salam he knew all of these were
[50:14]drinking while imam al-kawam is in his sujood in the prison aliveness
[50:17]came that night and when he came that night what did he
[50:22]say he came that day he came towards imam al-qaram and he
[50:25]said to him oh imam when are you going to appear when
[50:28]are you going to come out of this prison when is the
[50:31]day that ashiya will finally see you he said to him friday
[50:35]on the bridge of baghdad is when you will see me friday
[50:42]is the day that i'll appear he went back towards his people
[50:45]ali ibn sued when he went back towards his people what did
[50:50]he say he said i've got amazing news for you they said
[50:52]to him what is it he said i've got the news that
[50:57]on friday imam al-qaeda is going to be out of the prison
[50:59]everybody of the shia began to rejoice one by one they began
[51:05]to rejoice friday the news went from one household to another and
[51:08]that this friday imam al-qaeda salaam will be the one who appears
[51:13]they waited until that friday morning suddenly there was a call there's
[51:19]a body that lies on the bridge of baghdad let his family
[51:23]come and collect him when the news was announced and there's a
[51:28]body that lies on the bridge of baghdad the people began to
[51:35]appear from every corner of baghdad asking whose body is it on
[51:41]this day amongst the sheer and there were the lovers of the
[51:46]imam the lovers of the imam began to get closer and closer
[51:50]to the bridge when they got near enough they got near the
[51:54]doctor they asked the doctor whose body is this and the reply
[51:59]came come and check the body they came they saw imam muslim
[52:07]the jaffa lying on the ground with the marks of poison all
[52:10]over his body the doctor said to them he said does he
[52:15]have any family over here let his family come and collect his
[52:22]body luckily for the imam there were some members of his family
[52:28]to take his body there were some members of his family who
[52:32]came and took his body and buried him every imam every imam
[52:39]when they died every imam when they died their family were there
[52:45]to collect their body only when a man lay on the ground
[52:52]for three nights with no one to bury his holy body [Music]
[52:56]on ya allah we ask you to raise us with muhammad al
