[6:19]from now god knows what discoveries and what will be unfolding with

[6:27]all the technologies we are discovering all these means allah subhana wa

[6:34]ta'ala knows the gender of the fetus before it's born but Allah

[6:40]taught us mechanisms means with which now professionals can tell the gender

[6:48]of the baby before he or she is born but they need

[6:50]these means they need the tools we need tools a lot of

[6:55]not need tools however allah subhana wa ta'ala in some cases teaches

[6:59]us some of these tools and so we unfold we unlock some

[7:06]of these keys to knowledge or those to knowledge that's a system

[10:39]people look like what are they like Allah says we said all

[18:06]choose to pray or not to pray that's your choice you can

[18:09]choose to fast or not to fast that's your choice no one's

[18:12]forcing you you can choose to come to the mosque tonight and

[18:15]earn the table and earn the edger and the reward maybe get

[18:20]entertained a little bit and laugh but that's your choice no one

[18:24]forced you to do any of that stuff so when it comes

[18:29]to hey buddy worship Allah gives you free will and that's why

[18:38]have your choice if you pray he'll reward you if you don't

[18:41]well he may punish you why are you a lot punishing me

[18:46]because I gave you a choice you chose not to pray that's

[18:48]your choice you choose to wear the hijab Allah doesn't force you

[18:56]you wear it he will reward you you don't there will be

[18:59]a consequence that's your choice you choose to eat halal food that's

[19:02]your choice you choose to do so he'll reward you you don't

[19:09]there will be consequences that's your choice you choose to respect your

[19:15]parents if you do so God will reward you if you choose

[19:19]not to well there will be consequences there's choice no one's forcing

[19:24]you so when it comes to the matter of legislation that's free

[19:29]it's free free well however when it comes to the matter of

[19:33]creation how Allah created the system the universe that we have no

[19:42]control over we have no control a lots of Hannah wata'ala designed

[19:45]the human being the digestive system in such a manner that once

[19:51]you swallow the food you know things start to happen and you

[19:54]don't have control over it that's the way Allah designed the system

[19:57]of course I'm not talking about intervention with medication with some other

[20:02]we're talking about the natural system okay that's a natural system your

[20:07]birth that you have no control over your siblings you have no

[20:12]control over you don't choose that so when it comes to matters

[20:19]of creation you don't choose when it comes to a matter of

[20:22]religion you choose legislation we call it legislation the legislation the law

[20:29]you choose to follow the law so if you do so you'll

[20:33]be rewarded if you don't you'll be punished that's what Imam Sadiq

[20:43]alehissalaam says there is no complete predestiny nor is it completely we'll

[20:49]but it's a matter between two matters it's half and half when

[20:57]it comes to legislation free will you choose when it comes to

[21:01]creation no you have no free will Allah subhana Allah has already

[21:03]designed the system that's it you have no control over it okay

[21:08]so it's a matter between two matters okay okay so that's good

[21:12]so we're good so far we understand that part all right now

[21:16]when someone does not follow the law someone does not follow the

[21:22]law does not follow the legislation can we force people to follow

[21:27]the law that's it that's actually a big debate among Muslim scholars

[21:34]can you force people to follow the law and the answer is

[21:39]no we don't force people the prophet sallallaahu I'll never forced anyone

[21:45]to pray he never forced anyone to fast the Prophet Allah Allah

[21:48]Allah if you remember a few nights ago I said all his

[21:50]battles were in defense he never initiated war against anyone his battles

[21:55]were all in defense he was attacked or he wrote a peace

[21:59]treaty with a group of people and they violated the terms of

[22:01]the peace treaty so then he had to defend these were all

[22:05]the battles of the Prophet sallallaahu and all of them are like

[22:07]this and the Quran also says so Allah subhana Allah says do

[22:13]you guys know an eye on the Koran called ayatul kursi you

[22:16]guys know I still could see you have it memorized well if

[22:22]you don't it's a good idea to memorize maybe that will be

[22:24]something that you want to practice from now till the end of

[22:27]the holy month of Ramadan you have a week that should be

[22:29]enough time for you to memorize ayatul kursi it's about one ayah

[22:32]but there are two additional eyes and verses behind it as well

[22:37]so it's three in total so these three I add in stroget

[22:47]it is said in the hadith if you recite ayatul kursi once

[23:04]designate three angels to protect you four times four angels five times

[23:08]however allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala will tell the angels step aside I will

[23:12]protect him myself so five times reciting ayatul kursi consecutively will get

[23:20]you the protection of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala alright in ayatul kursi those

[23:25]of you who have it memorized after we finished the first ayah

[28:22]how Islam treats people so the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa ala always

[28:33]expression as long as it does not harm other people which is

[28:39]what the law says what the law says today in the United

[28:41]States for example in many democracies in the world you have a

[28:44]freedom of speech but you're not allowed to have hate speech that's

[28:50]not allowed you can say well wait a minute is freedom of

[28:53]speech say yes as long as it doesn't harm others unless I

[28:57]guess it's against Muslims these days you can say whatever you want

[29:01]but besides that then usually you cannot say any hate speech so

[29:05]hate speech is not tolerated same thing in Islam you have the

[29:12]freedom to express yourself and your opinions as long as you do

[29:16]not harm others once you harm others however then you have to

[29:21]be stopped because people's rights need to be defended let me tell

[29:26]you something brothers and sisters when imam ali ali salaam became the

[29:31]Haditha he became the head of the state he led three major

[29:35]Wars the first war called the Battle of the camel against some

[29:40]of the Companions of the Prophet who led the war against him

[30:01]as a consequence of the Battle of Siffin a group of Muslims

[30:07]split from imam ali's camp and they became known as the Hajj

[30:16]the religion although those people used to pray they used to fast

[30:20]the month of Ramadan they used to recite the Quran but they

[30:26]became such people who did not understand the Quran they thought that

[30:30]we have to kill anyone and everyone who is not in agreement

[30:34]with our ideology just like what we see today with some of

[30:41]the Muslims some of the Muslims today yes they say we are

[30:45]Muslims they read the Quran they pray they fast correct but the

[30:49]problem is they do not understand the spirit of Islam the spirit

[30:54]of the Quran and you find them going and killing other Muslims

[30:57]in the mosque in the masajid and they're not only killing she

[31:02]I know shiaa sunnis everybody because to them it's like what they

[31:08]call my way of the highway if you're not with us then

[31:11]you're our enemy you're against us those highlights those none Muslims basically

[31:20]although there were Muslims they started to insult imam ali the halifa

[38:28]we need to defend people's rights we have to stand up for
