[0:00]amlaykum.
[0:02]We are in the blessed holy month of Ramadan and there's no
[0:05]better time than now to give to the needy in Iraq.
[0:08]Imam Hussein charities is giving you the chance to provide food baskets
[0:12]for destitute and impoverished families.
[0:13]Each basket contains enough food to feed a family of four.
[0:22]We're one of the areas where we distribute food baskets.
[0:25]Going to go drop off this food basket to one of the
[0:28]Haj who's registered with Imam Hussein charity.
[0:40]These orphans need your help and require your assistance.
[0:45]Don't let any of these orphans go hungry this Ramadan.
[0:50]Please donate.
[0:52]Your donation can provide a source of nourishment for those who do
[0:58]not have access to food.
[1:09]Hey, away.
[1:33]In the name of God, the most beneficent, the most merciful.
[1:37]All praise is due to Allah, master of all the worlds.
[1:41]And peace and blessings be on all his prophets and especially the
[1:46]final prophet, the prophet Muhammad, my respected brothers and sisters.
[1:54]Im who is truly the sword of Allah.
[2:01]As we know occupies one of the most important positions in Sunni
[2:07]Islam and it's quite the contrary in Shia Islam in Shia Islam
[2:10]there isn't that respect that is afforded to Khalid as there is
[2:16]in Sunni Islam and in reality if you want to see a
[2:18]clear difference between the two sects of Islam look at somebody like
[2:26]W in the Sunni world admired adored in the Shia world not
[2:31]respected and in some cases detested.
[2:32]Now it shows you how when we look back at 1,400 years
[2:38]of Islamic history, we may have different opinions on a number of
[2:41]areas.
[2:42]But why do we reach such conclusions?
[2:43]As in why is it that the Shia rever someone like Salman
[2:46]or someone like Abdah or someone liked but not choose to revere
[2:56]someone like or someone like don't forget and both convert to Islam
[3:01]at around the same time.
[3:02]Now, Khadin Wal is more known for his exploits after the prophet
[3:08]peace be upon him's family died than he is known for during
[3:11]the life of the holy prophet peace be upon him and his
[3:15]family.
[3:16]But he still has a very interesting biography and it led many
[3:19]in the Sunni world that when you talk about bravery while there
[3:22]is that reverence of course that exists for a number of Sahabah
[3:27]but the first man that comes to mind is the sword of
[3:28]Allah.
[3:30]Many times you'll hear That is without a doubt the title that
[3:34]is always associated with and that title is one which in Sunni
[3:40]Islam is conferred upon him by the holy prophet peace be upon
[3:45]him and his family.
[3:45]But wal at the same time as being a brave warrior and
[3:51]we all will see his journey from shik towards Islam but at
[3:55]the same time can be quite a reckless warrior can also have
[4:01]certain issues with his decision-m now someone might turn around and say
[4:04]well at the end of the day is not mas he's not
[4:06]infallible for us to say that he has to be perfect at
[4:10]all times.
[4:12]It's one thing not being infallible.
[4:14]It's another when you can recklessly kill another Muslim who disagrees with
[4:20]you or recklessly make decisions on behalf of the religion of Islam
[4:25]that are quite destructive or have a dua read against you by
[4:30]the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family because it's
[4:33]very interesting that when you look at Im Ali and you look
[4:40]at Im Ali Alisam there is not a single battle Was a
[4:43]mushik that he managed to defeat Imam at the very least oneonone.
[4:53]We know that at the minimum let's say that he converted to
[4:57]the religion of Islam.
[4:59]I'm going to give him the ultimate benefit of the doubt about
[5:01]how the books have been written and how history has reached us.
[5:04]Let's say that converts with the religion of Islam after the battle
[5:10]of I'm not going to go to a conclusion that he converts
[5:12]with no I'm going to give him a nice piece of history
[5:18]that they convert after the battle of that means that the same
[5:23]who of course is the famous son and the last of the
[5:25]sons of by the way the most vicious enemy of the most
[5:34]arrogant man in Arabia alongside Abu Sufyan and of course's tribal friend
[5:41]Abu Jahal was one of the main soldiers for the Mushri community.
[5:46]If you were to look at the list of the soldiers of
[5:50]the mushiks, you'll always see that the main soldiers were who the
[5:53]main soldiers were always the likes of at the battle of bad
[6:02]wed faced Imam and was not able to overcome imam.
[6:05]Most famously wed is known for his exploits at the battle of
[6:12]all of you know the story that at the battle of we
[6:14]have all read very clearly my dear brothers and sisters that in
[6:19]that battle the holy prophet peace be upon his family was on
[6:22]the mountain of and the rest of the sahaba were fighting in
[6:26]the middle of the battle.
[6:26]The holy prophet peace be upon him's family had said to the
[6:29]sahaba he had said to them that whatever happens make sure that
[6:35]you guys do not leave this mountain because you see that we're
[6:38]winning cuz what would be in the mind of the sahaba if
[6:41]we're winning and we're just stuck on a mountain here we're not
[6:43]going to get the spoils and the booty of the war so
[6:46]we've got to le it and the prophet said whatever you do
[6:49]don't leave this mountain I don't want to see any of you
[6:51]leaving this mountain and so what happened was the moment some of
[6:59]Sahaba saw that Hamza had been killed.
[7:01]The holy prophet peace be upon him's family had a lookalike with
[7:04]Abbar and he got killed.
[7:06]Some of these Sahaba left the mountain and when they left the
[7:11]mountain came from around the mountain to attack the holy prophet peace
[7:14]be upon him and his family.
[7:14]Was he able to kill the holy prophet peace be upon his
[7:20]family?
[7:17]There's no way Khalid could kill.
[7:21]In Sunni literature, you'll always find this tradition that's there that the
[7:26]prophet was injured in the battle of and you'll hear that amongst
[7:33]the main people who injured him was for us of course the
[7:38]sh we don't believe in this idea that the holy prophet peace
[7:40]be upon his family had his broken teeth on that day and
[7:43]so on and so forth.
[7:46]But in Sunni literature, you have a man who they say attacked
[7:48]and sought to injure the holy prophet peace be upon his family.
[7:51]For me as a sh I know that Allah guides the worst
[7:55]of the worst.
[7:58]But I'm hardpressed to find Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide somebody who
[8:05]has struck a struck a member of the Ballam.
[8:15]I have not found anybody who has with his sword struck a
[8:19]member of the Bam or has been such a fervent enemy and
[8:23]somehow Allah subhanana wa ta'ala made him move from attacking Allah or
[8:28]attacking Fat Zah or attacking Im Ali or attacking Im Hassan or
[8:34]attacking Im Hussein and then come towards religiosity.
[8:37]Someone might say to me, well, how about say Yazidi was the
[8:44]commander of the opposition against Im never ever raised his sword against
[8:49]Imam Hussein.
[8:50]He never struck Im Hussein.
[8:52]In Sunni Islam, you could eat the liver of the uncle of
[8:58]the prophet and you can still be guided.
[9:00]You can eat from someone's skull and you can still be guided.
[9:04]You can attack and you can still be guided for us as
[9:08]while there is no limit to Allah's haya somebody who has that
[9:14]venom against it is very rare for that person to have a
[9:16]180 there's no way if anything they have a 360 where they
[9:20]just come back to the same circle of the same type of
[9:22]leaning over and over again at Bedrid couldn't defeat Im Ali Imam
[9:31]killed his tribesmen from Ben ated could not defeat Imam.
[9:36]Famously on the day of we hear the cry.
[9:41]There is no youth but Ali and there is no sword but
[9:45]at the minimum IM Ali killed 22 of the opposition at Im
[9:52]Ali was only 24 couldn't defeat him at we see that Im
[9:58]Ali was of the few that remained and didn't run away from
[10:03]the battle of Khalid could have easily finished Im Ali or the
[10:05]prophet peace be upon him because there was only a handful of
[10:09]people left on that mountain couldn't overcome Im Ali Alam at Khalid
[10:13]was still a mushri and he still couldn't overcome Im Ali.
[10:18]You all know who was the bravest warrior on the day of
[10:23]if is the bravest and the sword of Allah and no one
[10:28]is like him.
[10:30]I WANT TO ASK ONE QUESTION.
[10:31]If I im Ali has given us all victories at Badr and
[10:36]at Kandak and where what comes after Kandak which battle the battle
[10:43]of look in with me over here at Sah Muslim.
[10:44]Everybody please look Sah Muslim over here.
[10:47]Volume number five of Sah Muslim.
[10:49]Hadith number 4519 to 5645.
[10:53]All of you could see over there.
[10:59]Hadith edited and referenced by Abu Zuber Ali, translated by final review
[11:04]by Abu Khalil.
[11:08]First edition, August 2007, supervised by Abd Malik Mujah.
[11:10]All of you can see over here publishers.
[11:13]Look at the battle of Khalid Wal could easily be as the
[11:20]mushri of Mecca had joined the Jews of Medina to fight in
[11:23]the battle of on that day could easily if he is the
[11:26]greatest warrior in Islamic history should be able to overcome he has
[11:32]the Jewish support and he has the mushri support if you come
[11:34]with me over here my dear brothers and sisters you'll see that
[11:38]on that day at when you look at this hadith what do
[11:44]we see we see that and his companions were in a very
[11:49]very precarious situation on the day of why the Jews were strong
[11:53]the mushiks were aiding them.
[11:54]Therefore, they were a strong strong force.
[11:57]But again, we see one man comes to the four who nobody
[12:00]else is able to come near him.
[12:04]If you will look over here and you'll see what the hadith
[12:06]says.
[12:07]Come with me over here.
[12:08]Page number 130, the book of jihad and expeditions.
[12:11]The messenger of Allah said, who is this?
[12:14]He said, I am.
[12:16]He said, may your Lord forgive you.
[12:17]Whenever the messenger of Allah prayed for forgiveness for a certain person,
[12:22]he would be martyed.
[12:22]who was riding a camel of his called out, "Oh prophet of
[12:27]Allah, would that you had let us benefit from when we reached
[12:30]their king came out." Who came out of Marab came out brandishing
[12:42]his sword and saying knows that I am what?
[12:43]That I am All of us know the famous lines of as
[12:58]can be seen here knows that I am a fully armed warrior,
[13:06]a tried and tested hero.
[13:08]When war comes, spreading its flames.
[13:11]Okay.
[13:12]When Marhab came forward, of course, he exchanged blows.
[13:14]The sword of Mhab struck the shield of my uncle Amar.
[13:18]And went to attack from below, but his sword recoiled and struck
[13:20]the artery in his forearm and that led to his death.
[13:25]Then the holy prophet, look at the next page.
[13:28]The holy prophet sallallah.aii said to me, then he sent me to
[13:38]Ali who had sore eyes and he said, I will give the
[13:40]banner to a man who loves Allah and his messenger, who is
[13:44]loved by Allah and his messenger.
[13:46]I brought Ali leading him because he had sore eyes.
[13:51]He had an eye infection.
[13:55]Yes, I im Ali on the day of I brought him to
[13:55]the messenger of Allah.
[13:57]This is in Sah Muslim.
[13:58]I brought him to the messenger of Allah who put spit in
[14:03]his eyes and they were healed.
[14:04]Then he gave him the banner.
[14:06]Marab came out as we all know and he said his lines.
[14:13]Then Im Ali said his lines.
[14:13]All of you can see over here.
[14:23]Look over here.
[14:24]I am the one whose mother called him.
[14:27]Where is this?
[14:29]No, this is in Muslim.
[14:33]I am the one whose mother called him Haidar.
[14:34]Like a lion in the forest with a fearsome countenance.
[14:39]I returned their attack with one more fierce.
[14:42]He struck the head of Marab and killed him.
[14:47]Then victory came at his hands.
[14:51]Now Ali Ali two points emerge over here.
[14:57]If is this glorious soldier which I don't doubt that is a
[15:02]powerful soldier.
[15:03]There is no doubt about that.
[15:05]But to say that he's the foremost soldier.
[15:09]There's nowhere you will find that the foremost soldier in early Islam
[15:16]is Imam.
[15:16]That is number one.
[15:19]Number two, Im Alibab never in his life will you ever find
[15:24]that he was reckless on the battlefield or that he oppressed on
[15:30]the battlefield or that he hurt on the battlefield.
[15:33]Im notice what the prophet said.
[15:34]The man who's going out, Allah and me love him and he
[15:37]loves me and Allah.
[15:39]That is the best description you can ever have.
[15:41]Why?
[15:40]Because it means Allah subhana wa ta'ala is fully pleased with every
[15:46]action.
[15:44]Number three, never would mark my line over here.
[15:49]Never would make a dua that I dissociate from Ali's behavior at
[15:53]better.
[15:54]I dissociate from Ali at I don't like what Ali has done.
[15:59]Some of you may be wondering what why would he read a
[16:00]because we're going to come to the dua that read against number
[16:10]four if converts the same time as both of them mashallah join
[16:21]the religion of Islam great baraka for the religion and joined at
[16:26]the same time the religion of Islam Let's play clip number one.
[16:30]Shehikh Omar Sleman explaining to us that these two joined the religion
[16:35]of Islam a few years before the prophet died.
[16:37]Please play clip number one.
[16:41]He said, "Subhan Allah, I found remember the woman that wanted to
[16:49]drink out of the the skull of that's her son.
[16:50]And I bumped into and I'm not afraid of anybody.
[16:56]I told him exactly what I was going to do.
[16:58]And he responded and he said, "You know what?
[17:01]I'm going to do the same thing.
[17:02]I'm actually on my way to Medina to embrace Islam." So Khaled
[17:06]says, so I said, "Alhamdulillah, I got I've got a companion now."
[17:11]So said, you know, we we made our way to Al Medina
[17:13]and he said, "Once we got to the outskirts of Mecca," he
[17:18]said, "we bump into" and says, "Welcome to the to to my
[17:24]brothers.
[17:25]Welcome to these people." They said, "And you as well?" He said,
[17:31]"Where are you all going?" And they said, "We're going.
[17:34]We're going because we want to meet the messenger of Allah sallallahu
[17:39]alaihi wasallam." Says, "You know what?
[17:42]I'm going to do the same thing." Now, therefore, joined Islam with
[17:50]a few years left.
[17:50]Who does that remind you of?
[17:54]Who else?
[17:55]Who else?
[17:55]Who else?
[17:57]Abu.
[17:58]Are you all with me?
[17:59]I al was born into Islam.
[18:05]At the very least, if I go with the Sunni narration, he
[18:08]converts to Islam as a child.
[18:13]Okay, we agree.
[18:11]The first young Muslim.
[18:17]Okay.
[18:14]Joins Islam with a couple of years left.
[18:18]I'm going to say three and a half years left of the
[18:21]religion.
[18:21]Is that fair of me to say?
[18:23]How do you raise someone as the sword of Allah?
[18:27]Someone says, "Where does it say he's the sword of Allah?" I'll
[18:32]come to it in a second.
[18:33]But I ask, a man who's been fighting for the cause of
[18:38]Islam from Mecca.
[18:38]Some people think fighting is only on the battlefield.
[18:41]Sometimes in Mecca that was a proper war because there's 100 Muslims
[18:45]against all these Quraysh in early Islam.
[18:47]100 Muslims against all these Quraysh.
[18:49]The of Abu Talib threeear sanctions.
[18:52]There was no to help the Muslims.
[18:54]There was no there was no none of these people were around
[19:00]in those early days of Islam.
[19:01]None of them helped the religion.
[19:02]They were fighting the religion.
[19:03]Even in Sunni literature, you'll always hear that when the prophet asks
[19:07]Khalid, "What took you so long to convert?" Imagine Allah with all
[19:17]his and with all his miracles, all his all his words, it
[19:21]takes you 20 years to accept him as a prophet.
[19:25]Just think about this mama.
[19:29]Think about it for a moment.
[19:30]You yourself in your theology say the higher than the and the
[19:34]higher than and of course to squeeze and in they said they
[19:41]made the cut off line of being a muhaj.
[19:46]They were the last couple to become wallah when when become government
[19:50]you could do anything with hadith.
[19:52]Yeah.
[19:53]Now these guys takes them 20 years to join the religion.
[19:59]Abu Darfi Mdad Salman all these others nice Sahabah but never described
[20:07]the swords of Allah even though witnessed all these battles never you'll
[20:12]hear he's the sword of Allah why because he has a leaning
[20:17]to Ali if you have a leaning to Ali you are demoted
[20:20]if you have a leaning to the government you're promoted when a
[20:28]person has taken 20 years to become a Muslim.
[20:32]He faced aliat nothing couldn't finish it off couldn't finish it off
[20:40]couldn't finish it off.
[20:40]Eventually we hear the story that he went towards Medina.
[20:44]He said now it's time for me to convert.
[20:46]Why now?
[20:45]Why?
[20:47]We've been in Medina now for well over seven years.
[20:50]What was left for you to realize?
[20:52]Someone says Allah guides who he wants to guide.
[20:55]You are not to question.
[20:56]Okay, no problem.
[20:58]I won't question.
[20:57]But I'm baffled how it takes someone 20 years to realize this
[21:02]man's a prophet of God and I don't trust Beni Makum.
[21:04]I have my major problems with Beni Makum and Muira and his
[21:09]children.
[21:08]Although and then they Allah can guide whoever he wants.
[21:12]Now where does he attain the title the sword of Allah?
[21:14]Come with me over here.
[21:18]You'll see alkari as you can all see volume 5 a hadith
[21:20]3849 to 4473 translated by Dr.
[21:24]Muhammad Minhan which edition print in July 1997 printing supervised by Abd
[21:32]Malik Mujah come with me over here the virtues of the companions
[21:36]of su what's interesting is you will always find a section on
[21:42]and abu okay where you'll have the same number of merits as
[21:48]been with Islam from day one his neck for Islam his arm
[21:54]for Islam and joins at the end.
[21:56]But has merits has merits as if they've both been Muslims since
[22:00]day.
[22:01]True.
[22:02]Now come with me over here.
[22:03]Chapter 25, the merits of 3757 narrated.
[22:08]The prophet announced about the death of Zaff and Abdah to the
[22:13]people before the news of their death reached them.
[22:17]The battle of M was in reality his first major battle.
[22:20]the leader in the battle of M.
[22:23]Mut was the battle in the eighth year after Hijra after the
[22:29]battle of the battle of M against the Romans.
[22:35]You had was led by Zab he was killed Im Ali's brother
[22:38]his arms were chopped off and then you had Abdah when they
[22:43]all got killed.
[22:44]You hear the story and you have to with retrospect make sure
[22:49]you protect that strategically managed to take the Muslims back in a
[22:54]moment of a predicament.
[22:54]That could be worded it another way.
[22:57]It depends whether your Shia or how you word take the Muslims
[22:59]back.
[23:00]Anyway, so here what do we have?
[23:02]Look what it says.
[23:04]He said with his eyes overflowing with tears they took the flag
[23:06]and was martyed.
[23:08]Then Jaffar took the flag and was martyed.
[23:11]And then Ibin Raah took the flag and was martyed.
[23:12]Finally, the flag was taken by a sword from Allah's swords.
[23:19]One second.
[23:19]Finally, the flag was taken by a sword from Allah's swords.
[23:24]Is not a sword from Allah's swords.
[23:28]It is not a sword from receives the title say Allah.
[23:35]Look over here.
[23:34]What does it say?
[23:48]Finally, the flag was taken by a sword from Allah's swords.
[23:52]How do we know he's a sword from Allah's swords?
[23:57]He was mushik at kak.
[23:57]He's mushri at he is mushik at bad.
[24:00]He's mushik.
[24:02]His cv is all shik and fighting the prophet in his first
[24:05]battle in Islam.
[24:07]He is a sword from Allah's swords.
[24:09]Now some might say but this is Allah predicting the future that
[24:14]is saying this man who's bought us victory he is a sword
[24:18]from Allah's in one way he is if he's got a sword
[24:21]in his hand he's a sword from Allah's swords correct but all
[24:23]of a sudden there is a glorious 20 years someone's been an
[24:29]enemy of your mosque all of a sudden in his first day
[24:30]you've given him presidentship of the mosque okay 20 years he's been
[24:36]fighting you on the first day all of a sudden he's promot
[24:39]promoted as if Islam had no warrior wed came in.
[24:43]Now comes into the relig of Islam as I said a couple
[24:47]of years before the prophet dies I said earlier I'm giving him
[24:49]benefit of the doubt that he came in three and a half
[24:51]years before su died would you all agree with me that if
[24:58]you've killed his dad or his uncles at battle he's going to
[25:02]have severe issues with you true so imagine you you become a
[25:04]Muslim but that guy he stabbed my dad that one stabbed my
[25:09]uncle that one stabbed my cousin and believe you me the sahaba
[25:12]still had tension s even when they became Muslim with people who
[25:18]had killed their dads earlier.
[25:19]Someone says, "Nah, bro.
[25:19]When you convert, you forgive everyone.
[25:21]You don't forgive someone who stabbed up your dad.
[25:25]Let's be real.
[25:24]Let's be real." And what happens is that one of the people
[25:30]he clearly has a hate for, there's no doubt, is I imam.
[25:33]Remember, these are two people who've been at war with each other.
[25:38]One of them Allah and his messenger love him and he loves
[25:41]Allah and his messenger.
[25:44]One of them he is known as the bravest and the most
[25:47]knowledgeable and and another one has just joined the religion.
[25:51]Now do they have issues with each other or they don't have
[25:54]issues with each other?
[25:56]This is interesting.
[25:55]If we look at Sah Bkari 4349, come with me over here
[26:00]my dear brothers and sisters.
[26:02]Sah Bkari Arabic English volume 5 of Sah Bkari.
[26:06]Okay.
[26:07]go to hadith 4,349, we'll see that there's tension already has joined
[26:14]Islam.
[26:14]But if there's one person he has an issue with, and that's
[26:16]Imam because there is a context behind this incident that I'm about
[26:27]to narrate.
[26:29]Look over here, the sending of and to Yemen before.
[26:32]Now look over here.
[26:35]It has been narrated as you could all see by Allah's messenger
[26:39]sent us to Yemen along with later on he sent in his
[26:47]place.
[26:46]The prophet said to Ali give Khalid's companions the choice of either
[26:51]staying with you in Yemen or returning to Medina.
[26:54]Okay.
[26:54]Khaled was in Yemen.
[26:58]The prophet sent Imam Ali said replace Khalid Khalid.
[27:00]Clearly there is something that he's done.
[27:03]There's something that's caused tension where the prophets like you know that
[27:08]sword of Allah go replace him.
[27:12]What's the issue?
[27:15]One of the worst moments of you'll ever come across my dear
[27:19]brothers and sisters.
[27:20]Okay, please everybody play clip number two is that the prophet sent
[27:32]to and when he went there was quick.
[27:39]He invited them to Islam.
[27:40]They didn't say they said which means we changed their religion which
[27:46]can mean that they apostated or that they became Muslim.
[27:48]They had their weapons.
[27:50]He said, "Why do you have your weapons?" They said, "This is
[27:53]for the other Arab tribes." He ordered them to put them down.
[27:55]They refused to put them down.
[27:56]Why?
[27:56]Because one of the things that plays into this in a very
[28:00]unique way is that had a previous rivalry with that tribe in
[28:04]particular.
[28:04]Remember, he used to duel with everybody, right?
[28:08]Also what complicates is that this was the tribe that killed an
[28:12]uncle of and they killed the father of right which becomes relevant
[28:20]in the story.
[28:20]So in any case was quick to attack that tribe not realizing
[28:26]that indeed some of them had become Muslim right or all of
[28:30]them part of them or some of them had become Muslim.
[28:31]And when this came back to the prophet sallallaihi wasallam abdom came
[28:36]to the prophet sallall alaihi wasallam and he complained to the prophet
[28:39]sallallaihi wasallam about what khalid had done because this is a huge
[28:42]mistake in the early days of Islam in the early days of
[28:46]his being Muslim.
[28:47]The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam looked towards the he said oh Allah
[28:55]I disavow myself of what has done.
[28:57]This is not what I taught him.
[29:01]Oh Allah, I disavow myself of what Khalid has done.
[29:03]So it's a significant mistake and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam sends
[29:08]to make up for to compensate in whatever ways that he possibly
[29:16]can for the mistake that made.
[29:18]And some of the say this is not a part of history
[29:21]you should rush over.
[29:27]as I said reckless and it's a recklessness that later on Omar
[29:33]comes back to really haunt him with because clearly as we'll see
[29:41]over here and as she Omar has just described Bkari volume 9
[29:45]hadith 6561 to 7563 come with me over here chapter 35 chapter
[29:52]if a judge passes an unjust judgment or a judgment which differs
[29:56]from that of the learned religious men.
[29:59]Such a judgment is to be rejected.
[30:01]Okay.
[30:02]Now, Ib Omar narrates, "The prophet sent an army unit under the
[30:06]command of Wid to fight against the tribe of Benu Beni." Okay,
[30:14]all of you can see over here.
[30:15]They had to go there and fight against Benjima.
[30:19]And those people could not express themselves by saying Islam.
[30:22]So you've gone up to a group of people and you're wondering
[30:27]are they Muslim or not?
[30:28]If they're not Muslim, I'm going to butcher them.
[30:33]About 10 years ago, I said that when ISIS butchers or when
[30:38]ISIS beheads or when ISIS cooks people, cooks food on people's heads
[30:42]or when ISIS burdens or when ISIS um rapes and when ISIS
[30:47]does everything.
[30:46]I said you can go back to early Islamic history and find
[30:51]that there's examples and there was a backlash.
[30:52]How could you say that this is sectarian and so on and
[30:56]so on.
[30:57]What ISIS does is not out of a vacuum.
[30:59]Even with Shia, what we do is not out of a vacuum.
[31:00]We must have literature where we get what we get.
[31:03]And what ISIS does doesn't come out of a vacuum.
[31:07]If can set a precedence for killing people he wants to kill,
[31:12]for beheading people, for sitting and having a meal while putting a
[31:16]pot on their head, for sleeping with their wives, you're going to
[31:21]say to me all these things.
[31:22]Yes, all these things I will show you one by one in
[31:25]the next 15 minutes.
[31:24]If you can show all of these things, there's nothing no issue
[31:29]with dash dash.
[31:28]Whether they did this to Yazidis or they did this to Christians
[31:31]or they did this to Shia or they did this in Syria
[31:35]and Iraq, they have Wed's precedent.
[31:37]Come back with me.
[31:39]The prophet sent an army unit under the command of Wal to
[31:44]fight against the tribe of Benujadima.
[31:46]And those people could not express express themselves saying but they said
[31:52]what did they say my dear brothers and sisters all of you
[31:58]could see very clearly over here kept on killing some of them
[32:03]and taking some others as captives and he gave a captive to
[32:06]every one of us and ordered every one of us to kill
[32:11]his captive.
[32:10]Have you all understood what's happened?
[32:12]I've come to a tribe.
[32:14]I want to know if you're Muslim or not.
[32:16]If you say Islam, you're Muslim.
[32:18]If you say Sabatna, I'm going to kill you.
[32:21]I want to ask somebody.
[32:21]Why would you say Sabatna?
[32:24]Why would you say Sabatna?
[32:26]Everyone knows the religion is called Islam.
[32:28]It's 21 years old.
[32:30]By the time you get to them, if a religion is called
[32:32]Islam, the derivative I'm not going to say Sabah.
[32:35]I'm going to say Islam.
[32:37]No, but I heard them say Sabata, not Islam.
[32:40]So what does he do?
[32:42]What do you do if you're wearing orange?
[32:44]What do you do if you're wearing a turban?
[32:46]If you've got a long beard, what do you do if you
[32:50]have a gun in your hand and you're not sure if someone
[32:54]is a morted whatever titles they want to give?
[33:00]What do you do?
[32:59]Look what he says.
[33:01]Khaled kept on killing some of them and taking some others as
[33:03]captives.
[33:03]And he gave a captive to every one of us and ordered
[33:05]every one of us to kill his captive.
[33:08]All of you saw the spiker attack that happened in Iraq, I
[33:10]think about 10 years ago.
[33:11]Do you remember the beheadings of the Shia by the river?
[33:14]Come on.
[33:16]We're not far, are we?
[33:20]We're not far.
[33:19]Here's Bkari is opening a a beautiful thing for us.
[33:22]Now, someone might say to me, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's your
[33:25]Shia interpretation." It's not because the end of this hadith gives a
[33:27]way that the prophet was really angry.
[33:28]Come back.
[33:30]I said, "By Allah, I shall not kill my captive and none
[33:35]of my companions shall kill their captives." Then we mentioned that to
[33:39]the prophet and he said, "Oh Allah, I am free from what
[33:41]has done and repeated it twice." What did he say?
[33:46]Allah, he read a dua.
[33:47]When he heard that had massacred innocent people, oh Allah, I dissociate.
[33:59]I am free from what Khaled has done.
[34:02]I go to a group of people.
[34:05]If they join Islam, they join.
[34:05]If they don't join Islam, what am I going to do?
[34:09]Behead them?
[34:11]Play that clip number two.
[34:14]Repeat it again of just repeat it one more time please.
[34:18]Clip number two is that the prophet sent to when he went
[34:31]there was quick.
[34:31]He invited them to Islam.
[34:33]They didn't say, they said, which means we changed our religion, which
[34:39]can mean that they apostated or that they became Muslim.
[34:41]They had their weapons.
[34:43]He said, "Why do you have your weapons?" They said, "This is
[34:45]for the other Arab tribes." He ordered them to put them down.
[34:47]They refused to put them down.
[34:48]Why?
[34:49]Because one of the things that plays into this in a very
[34:52]unique way is that had a previous rivalry with that tribe in
[34:56]particular.
[34:57]Remember, he used to duel with everybody, right?
[35:00]Also what complicates is that this was the tribe that killed an
[35:05]uncle of and they killed the father of right which becomes relevant
[35:13]in the story.
[35:12]So in any case was quick to attack that tribe.
[35:16]>> He killed them >> not realizing that indeed some of them
[35:20]had become Muslim right or all of them part of them or
[35:24]some of them had become Muslim.
[35:24]And when this came back to the prophet sallallaihi wasallam abdom came
[35:29]to the prophet sallall alaihi wasallam and he complained to the prophet
[35:32]sallallaihi wasallam about what khalid had done because this is a huge
[35:35]mistake in the early days of Islam in the early days of
[35:39]his being Muslim.
[35:40]The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam looked towards the he said oh Allah
[35:48]I disavow myself of what has done.
[35:50]This is not what I taught him.
[35:53]Oh Allah, I disavow myself of what Khaled has done.
[35:55]So it's a significant mistake and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam sends
[36:00]to make up for to compensate in whatever ways that he possibly
[36:08]can for the mistake that made.
[36:11]And some of the say this is not a part of history
[36:14]you should brush over.
[36:15]Of course it's not a part of history that we should brush
[36:18]over.
[36:19]Of course it's not a part of history that we should brush
[36:22]over.
[36:23]Yan, you're smiling and saying that this was a mistake.
[36:26]You've gone to a group of people.
[36:28]You've wonder this is who's been reckless for the last 20 years
[36:34]of his life, brandishing his sword, killing Muslim after Muslim, torturing Muslim
[36:38]after Muslim.
[36:41]You think that guy has been rehabilitated in one year?
[36:54]You know what they say?
[36:57]They say, "But he thought they were apostates." The prophet, peace be
[37:00]upon his family, said, "I disavow." I'm looking at the Kaa.
[37:02]I disavow from what this guy's done.
[37:05]One act can ruin the image of Islam when done by someone
[37:11]representing Islam.
[37:13]One act can ruin the image of the religion of Islam by
[37:19]someone who claims to be representing the religion.
[37:21]This guy has come up to them.
[37:26]He's killed them.
[37:25]Other Sahab are looking to what's this guy doing?
[37:28]I'm surprised that you're baffled with what he's doing.
[37:30]He's been reckless for 20 years.
[37:32]Just because he converted, what do you think?
[37:34]You can suddenly rehabilitate him because he said there are many who
[37:39]convert in this UK.
[37:39]You can't rehabilitate them for 20 years from their excon life.
[37:46]And that's why in clip number three, Shehikh Omaran admits the Sahabah
[37:52]had too much in their heart.
[37:54]That would always mean they'll make reckless decisions and his friends who
[37:59]converted.
[37:58]There was always tension that remain in there.
[38:00]Please play clip number three.
[38:04]And by the way, the reason why I mentioned subhan allah his
[38:09]father having been killed by this tribe that you know actually came
[38:17]to because he suspected that one of the reasons you're still human.
[38:20]One of the reasons why you were quick to attack them was
[38:22]because you remember them killing your uncle.
[38:25]Right?
[38:26]So he's suspecting that maybe there's someah that's still within you that
[38:30]you need to purify this.
[38:30]We don't do this anymore.
[38:31]Keep in mind what did the Arabs used to do repeats repeats
[38:35]repeat years later my son will come and attack your entire tribe
[38:38]that actually the reason why I mentioned subhan allah his father having
[38:45]been killed by this tribe that you know actually came to because
[38:50]he suspected that one of the reasons you're still human one of
[38:54]the reasons why you were quick to attack them was because you
[38:57]remember them killing your uncle right so he's suspecting that maybe there's
[39:02]someah that's still within you that you need to purify this.
[39:04]We don't do this anymore.
[39:05]Keep in mind what did the Arabs used to do?
[39:07]If you killed my camel 40 years later, my son will come
[39:12]and attack your entire tribe.
[39:12]That actually happens.
[39:16]So is saying you still have some inside of you.
[39:18]And who argues back and Khaled says and they killed your father
[39:24]too.
[39:25]Right?
[39:24]And this is actually where the prophet sallall alaihi wasallam has the
[39:31]very famous hadith.
[39:29]It's it's interesting.
[39:39]Prophet sallall alaihi wasallam said, "Do not curse my companions because if
[39:43]one of you were to spend a mountain of in gold, you
[39:47]would not be able to reach their rank, not even a handful."
[39:53]The prophet said, "Don't curse my companions cuz Khalid cursed Abdah and
[39:57]Oh, that's an interesting one.
[40:00]So Sahabi was cursing Sahabi and they say why do you sahab
[40:03]but they're cursing each other number one.
[40:06]Number two they're also admitting what's being admitted over here.
[40:10]We still have jahi tendencies.
[40:13]Why do the sh insist that the success of the prophet has
[40:17]to be a you cannot have the remnants of jah and the
[40:22]evil of jah still in you.
[40:24]You'll be reckless.
[40:26]We saw over here that the prophets read a dua.
[40:27]Now, someone asked me a question once.
[40:30]If Khaled had done something so bad, why didn't the prophet punish
[40:34]him?
[40:35]Good question.
[40:34]It's a solid one.
[40:38]Solid question.
[40:37]If the prophet had to punish his companions for every bad they've
[40:41]done, wah, he would have to wait till the courtroom wouldn't close.
[40:49]At everyone who ran away, did he hold each one and said,
[40:51]"You put the Muslims life in danger.
[40:52]I'm going to punish each one of you.
[40:54]The ones who ran away ran and ran and ran and did
[40:59]the prophet peace be upon him's family punishman.
[41:04]No.
[41:03]How many of the Muslims made mistakes at they ran away?
[41:07]Did the prophet catch each one say you ran away at how
[41:10]many times we read aysman.
[41:20]Why didn't the prophet punish them for their running or their turning
[41:26]or their revoling in the story of why didn't the prophet punish
[41:30]them?
[41:30]That's why even in Sah Muslim when someone says to you if
[41:33]Khalid done such a bad thing why didn't the prophet punish Khalid
[41:38]if he done such a bad thing look in sah Muslim the
[41:39]prophet me makes it quite clear why he hasn't punished because this
[41:45]question is asked a lot that why didn't the prophet peace be
[41:47]upon him and his family do that if you come with me
[41:50]over here let's go to sah Muslim let's go sah Muslim volume
[41:54]number three come with me over here why did the prophet not
[41:56]punish his companions sah Muslim compus Muslim volume 3 from hadith number
[42:02]2263 to 3397.
[42:04]A hadith edited and referenced by Abu Tah.
[42:06]I want us to go to 1063.
[42:11]For those who say, "Why did the prophet not punish his companion
[42:15]if it was such a bad thing?" You'll always hear these lines.
[42:18]You come with me over here.
[42:23]1063.
[42:21]My dear brothers and sisters, okay, where are we?
[42:27]1063.
[42:26]Come over here.
[42:28]Chapter 47.
[42:30]the Kawar and their attributes.
[42:32]24491421063 it was narrated that Jabb Abdal said a man came to
[42:35]the message of Allah.
[42:38]Okay.
[42:36]In the area in the area which was known as when he
[42:42]was on his way back from Hunain in the cloak of Bilal
[42:45]there was some silver and the messenger of Allah was giving handfuls
[42:47]of it to the people.
[42:50]He said oh messenger be fair.
[42:52]Oh Muhammad be fair.
[42:51]He said, "Wo to you who will I who will be fair
[42:55]if I'm not fair.
[42:57]I will be doomed and lost if I'm not fair." Omar said,
[43:00]"Oh messenger of Allah, let me kill this hypocrite." He said, "Allah
[43:03]forbids that the people should say that I kill my companions." Allah
[43:11]wouldn't kill his companion.
[43:12]People will say, "Look, he kills his own companions." Otherwise these people
[43:19]who have caused the butchering he receives the revelation he receives the
[43:24]after the prophet dies peace be upon him his family khalid is
[43:29]part of the group that attacks the house of fatam and that's
[43:34]clear within shia literature if you look within shia literature khalid even
[43:38]tried to kill Imam Ali so when we say who is greater
[43:42]khalid or Im Ali many shia don't know the tradition ition about
[43:45]trying to kill Im Ali in Salah after the prophet died.
[43:51]Come with me over here.
[43:52]The book al as you can all see by Abu Mansour Ahmed
[44:00]Ali translated by say Amir Hussein Saresh Kan.
[44:02]All of you can see over here my dear brothers and sisters
[44:08]first edition 2017.
[44:07]If we go to page 120 this a reference someone says I
[44:13]want Sunni habibi.
[44:13]You can look for Sunni yourself and I have my Shia books.
[44:16]When I want to use them I'll use them as freely as
[44:18]I want.
[44:17]You're not a barometer by which I live my life.
[44:20]Come back over here.
[44:22]My dear brothers and sisters, you come over here.
[44:24]Hadith number 45.
[44:26]It is narrated that Abu Bakr and Omar asked Wal to murder
[44:32]Im Ali.
[44:33]After they held talks with him and he accepted.
[44:35]At a corner of the house, Abu Bakr's wife Asma noticed it
[44:40]and abruptly sent someone to Imam Ali's house to say some were
[44:43]going to make an attempt on his life.
[44:45]Upon hearing the news, Imam Ali told the messenger peace be upon
[44:48]your lady as who would kill the faithless deviators and apostates then
[44:52]if they achieve their goal they want to kill Imam Ali.
[44:55]Imam saying who's going to kill the worst of the people if
[44:59]I'm not around was to use the opportunity to conceal himself at
[45:02]the time of dawn prayers when it was dark.
[45:06]Okay.
[45:06]However, Allah has the knowing.
[45:08]Abu Bakr told him to hit Imam Ali on the neck whenever
[45:12]he finishes saying his prayers.
[45:13]It was why he sat besides Imam Ali in the line of
[45:18]prayers.
[45:18]While saying prayers, Abu Bakr suddenly thought about the consequences of that
[45:22]act and felt afraid of the disturbance.
[45:24]After that, it might put his own life in danger.
[45:28]Abu Bakr got scared.
[45:28]Allow this plan.
[45:29]Let's not do this.
[45:29]There's no need for us to go down this route.
[45:32]Let's go back.
[45:33]Thus, before finishing his prayers, he said three times, "Oh Khalid, do
[45:36]not do what you were assigned to do." In another narration, it
[45:38]is mentioned that he told him, "Do not do what I ordered
[45:42]you." Then I imam turned to Khaled and saw him standing beside
[45:44]him with a sword naked in his hand.
[45:46]Imam Ali told him Khalid what had he assigned to you?
[45:51]Imagine Imam Ali looks at you and says what's been assigned to
[45:53]you oh Khalid tell me I've caught you come back.
[45:58]He said killing you.
[45:58]Imam Ali asked him did you really want to do it?
[46:00]He replied by Allah if he had not stopped me I would
[46:01]have struck you on the head with my sword.
[46:03]Imam Ali said you told a lie.
[46:06]I swear by him who developed the seed and created the human
[46:08]being that if Allah had ordained differently, you would have realized which
[46:12]of these two group is more wicked and feeble.
[46:15]Okay.
[46:17]Now in another narration from Abu Dar it's quoted saying following the
[46:22]above measan Imam Ali took with his first and middle fingers and
[46:25]pushed him so much that he cried out in pain.
[46:29]People were overcome with fear and became analid says here wet his
[46:35]pants hitting his feet to the ground and saying nothing.
[46:37]In the meantime, Abu Bakr told Omar, "It is the result of
[46:40]your wrong advice.
[46:41]It seemed as if I had been I had seen its consequences.
[46:46]I'm thankful to Allah that I did not pollute myself with that
[46:49]act.
[46:49]However, anyone who took a step to release Khaled from Ali's hands
[46:52]moved away out of fear." Here upon Abu Bakr sent Omar to
[46:58]his uncle Abbas.
[46:57]He came and interceded with him on behalf of Khalid and by
[47:02]the owner of this tomb and him who was buried in it
[47:05]and by and Fatma leave him.
[47:06]That's all he had to say to him in the name of
[47:10]Allah and the and Fatma leave release don't keep him in this
[47:17]chain.
[47:17]Then he did as such and Abbas kissed him between his eyebrows.
[47:22]Okay.
[47:24]So 20 years not a Muslim joins Islam has already recklessly killed
[47:28]a group of people has already been part of the gang with
[47:33]and others threatening the house of Fatham and you'd think that was
[47:38]the last of the crimes and then you're introduced to another world
[47:44]of crime when is employed as a general by Abu Bakr to
[47:49]collect taxes anyone who doesn't pay zakat is to be killed.
[47:53]Be they sahabi or not sahhabi.
[47:54]Please play clip number four.
[48:36]for forch.
[49:34]for a thousand.
[50:14]for and foreign.
[51:43]Islam.
[52:04]forch.
[52:45]Islam.
[52:50]They go to Malikb No.
[52:52]Malikb Noer doesn't want to pay zakat.
[52:55]Of course, later they all accuse him that this guy is with
[52:58]Musam al- Kadab and he's with the false prophet and you have
[53:00]to work so hard to look after the character of a man
[53:05]who had literally joined Islam for 3 years had been an enemy
[53:07]of Islam for 20 years of the prophethhood of the holy prophet
[53:11]peace be upon him's family but you have to rebuild his character
[53:14]he's been reckless in Yemen you still have to rebuild his character
[53:16]he's now reckless again that Omarilab is super angry with him in
[53:22]relation to what he's done Katab has known that this guy has
[53:28]been savage with what he's done.
[53:29]If you come to Tabari over here, my dear sisters, the history
[53:31]of Tabari volume 16, the challenge to the empires, translated by blankansship.
[53:37]All of you come over here, page 64.
[53:40]It's very brief, this reference, but you can see over here, my
[53:42]dear, the caliphate of Abu Bakr Sadik, he also appointed guardians to
[53:49]look after their children.
[53:50]Omar held their slaying against Khalid in addition to his killing of
[53:56]Malik that is Ib no footnote 359.
[53:59]He was a chief of the Tam who was killed by the
[54:04]Malik Aar during the Ridda wars.
[54:06]Omar held his killing against Khaled.
[54:08]Why would Omar have a problem with you killing an apostate?
[54:11]What's Omar's issue with you killing?
[54:14]If someone is an apostate, why would Omar have a problem with
[54:16]it?
[54:16]He'll say, "Well done.
[54:16]You killed all the apostates.
[54:18]We have to kill the mort.
[54:19]This is the rid the wars.
[54:20]Omar knew Malik wasn't apostate.
[54:22]And Omar knew what Khaled had done.
[54:25]Khaled had savagely killed Malik.
[54:27]Malik said, "Listen, pray.
[54:29]I pray zakat.
[54:29]I'm not giving to you guys.
[54:31]I used to give to the prophet.
[54:32]I'm not giving to you guys.
[54:33]I don't believe in no.
[54:34]This is your sham election." He beheads him.
[54:40]If you play clip number I think the last two clips.
[54:45]So, let's play the penultimate clip and then the last one.
[54:47]play the penultimate one first which I think is uh clip number
[54:54]seven.
[54:51]Clip number seven.
[55:10]Foreign Incarnate.
[56:09]What?
[56:10]Wasam.
[56:23]So it's the menhaj of the prophet that he'll kill your husband
[56:27]and then he'll take you as his misses.
[56:29]Okay?
[56:30]So that's the way that they follow.
[56:32]You take captives whoever you like.
[56:34]Okay?
[56:34]This all ISIS.
[56:35]ISIS.
[56:36]And there's one more ISIS part.
[56:38]Imagine you killed Malik, the husband.
[56:41]You've taken his misses and then you're about to have a meal.
[56:44]What's the best form of um what's it called?
[56:51]Table wear, they'll call it.
[56:51]Uh what's the best form of uh furniture to use for you
[56:56]to eat on?
[56:56]Which which which furniture is the best?
[56:58]Oh, I know.
[57:00]Uh play the last clip.
[57:03]Let's use someone's head as the furniture, as the stool.
[57:21]Yeah.
[57:22]You kill someone then behead them and then use the head as
[57:27]the stool for the pot.
[57:27]Okay.
[57:27]And that's the person who's called the sword of Allah.
[57:32]And that's why Omar Kab always had major problems with him.
[57:35]You'll see again you come back to the history of Tabari volume
[57:38]16, the challenge of the empires.
[57:41]As much as there is a cover up, there is still a
[57:44]reality about it over here.
[57:45]You'll see over here the caliphate of Omari page 162 volume 16.
[57:53]Come with me.
[57:55]Uh volume number 11.
[57:55]Sorry.
[57:56]Come with me.
[57:56]Omar dismissed Khalid only owing to words that Khaled has spoken according
[58:00]to what they claim.
[58:02]Okay.
[58:03]Omar did not cease being wroth with him and disliking his behavior
[58:06]during the whole time of Abu Bakr owing to his battle with
[58:11]Ib no and what he had done in fighting against him.
[58:13]When Omar succeeded to the caliphate, the first words he spoke were
[58:17]those of Khal's dismissal.
[58:20]He said he will never govern any province for me.
[58:22]Omar wrote to Abu Khal admits that he is a liar then
[58:27]he remains commander over what he has charge of but if he
[58:30]does not admit that he is a liar then you are command
[58:31]of what he had charge of then pull his turban off his
[58:36]head and confiscate half of his property could be clearer that Omar
[58:40]his son and others were never happy with Khaled's recklessness there's no
[58:44]doubt that was brave on a battlefield but recklessness killing innocent people
[58:49]taking the wife and using their heads as stalls that's not the
[58:52]Islam that we want.
[58:57]Hey, hey, hey.
