[0:26]about the a bait.
[0:28]Also on this floor is something special.
[0:32]Ab Hussein dedicated to Imam Sad Alam.
[0:35]Phase two brings this floor to life.
[0:39]All the background work be editing development for all of your favorite
[0:41]shows happens on this floor.

[0:58]This phase is all about the long-term vision of the channel.

[1:11]This Ramadan helped us build it.
[1:12]Every single donation leaves a legacy.
[1:14]This is a place for community, family, and most importantly, every single
[1:21]one of you.
[1:20]Donate this month.
[1:23]Build with us.
[1:43]Hey, hey, hey.
[1:52]Hey, away.
[2:18]In the name of God, the most beneficent, the most merciful.
[2:22]All praise is due to Allah, master of all the worlds.
[2:27]And peace and blessings be on all his prophets and especially the
[2:32]final prophet, the holy prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi.
[2:35]My respected brothers and sisters, why did the Sahabah hate, fight, and
[2:43]abuse Im Ali?
[2:46]When one examines Islamic history, it's unbelievable how all this literature that
[2:51]surrounds me involves narrations concerning Sahaba who fought Im Ali.
[2:58]Those who had hate for Im Ali Alisam.
[3:03]Those who as well abused Im Ali.
[3:07]Remember one thing that throughout the world, especially in the Sunni world,
[3:11]there's always this image that's given that either the Sahabah were all
[3:17]best friends and they're all going to Jenna or that we're not
[3:19]allowed to discuss any of the differences that exist between them at
[3:23]all.
[3:23]But then when we look at the narrations in Sunni literature, we'll
[3:28]find that there are so many disputes that occur between the Sahab
[3:33]that leads them to fighting Imam Ali, hating Imam Ali, no abusing
[3:39]Im Ali.
[3:41]Now, the problem here is if you're all going to go into
[3:43]Jenna, Jenna sounds like quite a rowdy place.
[3:45]Because if I'm going to go to Jenna and there's someone in
[3:48]Jenna who I've abused, who who I've hurt or who I've for
[3:54]example fought in a battle and raised an army against, I'm not
[3:58]looking forward to seeing that guy in Jenna.
[4:00]And so when you look within Sunni history and Sunni theology, Im
[4:05]Alivisam is a very problematic figure.
[4:09]Yes, when you look at the Sunni community today, all of them
[4:14]love Imm Ali Alisam.
[4:14]But this of course was not the case in the early days
[4:18]of the religion of Islam.
[4:19]This is something that has evolved and has crystallized into later theology
[4:24]that concepts such as Imm Ali being the forthrightly guided Khalifa was
[4:30]not something that was there in early Islam.
[4:33]Any Sunni scholar of reputation or of good note or of good
[4:37]standing will be someone who will tell you blatantly that Imam Ali
[4:43]Alisam amongst the groups that despised him in early Islam were groups
[4:47]such as the now before you even got to the was a
[4:52]group that despised Im Ali Alisam and they would not acknowledge Im
[4:58]Ali Alisam as a righteous individual.
[4:59]Many times people try and portray that it's the Kawar who really
[5:03]hated Imam Ali Alisam.
[5:03]The first real group one may argue and when I say group
[5:09]that is known with a particular title.
[5:11]Yes, Abu Bakr and Omar we know very well you served the
[5:13]right of Imam Ali Alaiam with the Sham election that was the
[5:20]Satifa election.
[5:18]But the Omani sect was really the group who despised Im Ali.
[5:26]the group who felt that man was unjustly treated and oppressed and
[5:32]that I im Ali Alisam had to be held account and they
[5:34]did not raise Im Ali's status at all and then you had
[5:39]another group at that time the who decided not to give judgments
[5:43]they could see that Imam Ali Alisam has too many for them
[5:48]to give a judgment on and so they suspend their judgment and
[5:52]then you have the and then later on coming in the time
[5:56]of Ahmed bin H.
[5:57]There's this book right in front of me over here.
[5:59]One may argue that this book over here by Ahmed Hel if
[6:05]you zoom into this book you'll see that this book this book
[6:09]of im Ahmed bin hal as you could see over here I
[6:18]imbdued bin hal this book written by Ahmed bin hal in my
[6:23]opinion is a major turning point in the respect of to Im
[6:30]Ali as the forthrightly guided Khalifa because Ahmed H what he does
[6:36]in this text is living 150 years or so after the prophet
[6:39]peace be upon him and his family has passed away he decides
[6:43]to collect all the of the Sahabah half of it is the
[6:46]of im Ali so in the Sunni world when you're looking at
[6:50]the merits of Im Ali Alisam this is one of the best
[6:54]another of the great works on the merits of Imam Ali in
[6:55]the Sunni world is of the of one of the six authors
[7:08]you know we have Muslim Iba Abu Daw and so has Ahmed
[7:16]within has unbelievable merits of Im Ali in reality therefore in the
[7:22]Sunni world you could not say that everybody has the same opinion
[7:25]on Im Ali Alisam I have for example here the famous work
[7:35]of Ibia in coherence of the Shia okay by Ibia.
[7:38]Now when you look in Minhajnah you'll see that the whole book
[7:43]is dedicated to nullifying the merits quite literally nullifying the merits of
[7:47]Imam Ali Alisam.
[7:47]So if you come to the chapters of the book, look at
[7:51]each chapter of Ib Tamia's book and you'll see that each chapter
[7:54]it's about nullifying one way or the other Imm Ali's merit.
[7:59]So you'll see over here nullifying the claim of the Rafi that
[8:02]the verse those are sincere proves the leadership of Ali.
[8:07]Nullifying the claim of the that the verse of those who spent
[8:10]their wealth proves leadership of Ali.
[8:12]Nullifying the claims of the rafi that the verse of asking for
[8:14]blessings proves the leadership of Ali.
[8:17]Nullifying the bonite existence of the Quran on the verse of the
[8:22]two seas as advanced by the about Ali and others.
[8:24]Nullifying the claim of the rafi that the verse of those who
[8:28]have knowledge of the scripture proves leadership of Ali.
[8:30]Nullifying the claims of the Rafi that the verse on the day
[8:33]in which Allah will not disgrace the prophet proves the leadership of
[8:36]Ali.
[8:37]Nullifying the claim of the Rafi that the verse of the best
[8:39]of creatures proves the leadership of Ali.
[8:41]Nullifying the claim of the Rafi that the verse of mankind of
[8:46]making kindred and in-laws proves leadership of Ali.
[8:47]Nullifying the claims of the that the verse be with those who
[8:53]are truthful proves the leadership of Ali.
[8:56]Another chapter nullifying the claim of the that the verse of bowing
[8:59]down to Allah proves the leadership of Ali.
[9:02]Nullifying the claim of the verse of appointing a helper proves the
[9:05]leadership of Ali.
[9:06]Nullifying the claim of the the verse of testifying proves the leadership
[9:10]of Ali.
[9:09]Nullifying the claim of the that the vers of Allah is his
[9:14]protector proves the leadership of Ali.
[9:15]Nullifying the claim of the that the hadith of declaring the message
[9:18]of Allah proves the leadership of Ali.
[9:21]Explaining the falsity of the arguments of the with the ofad.
[9:23]Now which is referring to he's referring to of course live in
[9:33]the same time.
[9:35]One has been Haj and the other has been Hajnah.
[9:36]And of course the famous Syrian who is without a doubt one
[9:43]may argue the most influential scholar at the moment in Jama or
[9:48]the most agreed upon.
[9:51]Let's make that clear.
[9:50]The most influential scholar is Ibia today.
[9:54]Now you see Syria the books of Ibia are being distributed to
[9:59]people so that they may learn about the religion of Islam.
[10:03]So you have when people talk about Imam you either have Ahmed's
[10:11]book full of praise with all the merits of Im Ali that
[10:14]sometimes makes you look at and say wow that's virtually sh in
[10:19]terms of proving the merits and the position of Im Ali Alisam
[10:23]and then you have trying to nullify every single merit of Almanis
[10:29]and that's why it wasn't surprising when you had ISIS is stopping
[10:33]people and literally because they were called Ali they were beheaded before
[10:37]them there were people of the extreme of especially those influenced by
[10:44]Ibia now of course don't get me wrong Ahmed there is a
[10:47]connection there without a doubt many times people would look at Ibamy
[10:49]as a strand of halism and then look at the more extreme
[10:56]Muhammad Abdahab later on but when you come to one undeniable fact
[11:00]that Ibia and Ahmed Hal can never ever go against and that
[11:04]is that the Sahabah had amongst them Sahabah who hated Ali or
[11:11]who fought Ali or who abused Ali.
[11:15]Now I'm not going to show that from Shia books because if
[11:17]I show it from Shia books everyone will turn around to me
[11:20]and say ah this is typical Shia bringing up from their own
[11:24]literature.
[11:24]No, I will show you tonight and I want to make something
[11:26]clear.
[11:27]Not all Sahabah because this whole idea that Shia I don't like
[11:29]any Sahabah I've already discussed a number of times in this series
[11:33]and other series is the great number of Sahabah that we revere
[11:36]and of course we put Sahabah on the different levels the same
[11:40]way the Quran says there are those who ran away in battle
[11:42]and those who didn't those who turned up for battle those who
[11:45]didn't those who were hypocrites those who weren't.
[11:46]The Quran has put them in levels and I go with the
[11:50]levels of the Quran.
[11:49]For me, when I'm trying to see the hate of Im Ali
[11:55]Alisam, there's something that baffles me.
[11:57]Ali on many occasions made it clear that the hate of Ali
[12:03]or fighting Ali is the same as fighting the holy prophet peace
[12:05]be upon him and his family.
[12:09]Now, someone may ask me why does he make this clear?
[12:10]Why would the prophet randomly say that whoever loves Ali loves me
[12:15]and whoever hates Ali hates me?
[12:16]It's as if the prophet is giving a huge warning for the
[12:18]future after he passes away.
[12:22]As you know, the prophet would guide mankind not just in relation
[12:25]to his life.
[12:26]He would tell us what's going to happen after him, the trials,
[12:30]THE TRIBULATIONS ALL THE WAY UNTIL THE signs of Allah would bestow
[12:34]on him knowledge of the unseen and sallallahu alaihi would even tell
[12:37]us all the of the day of judgment and the stories of
[12:41]the end of times.
[12:43]Why would the prophet keep repeating whoever hates Ali hates me, whoever
[12:47]fights Ali fights me?
[12:47]And if you want to recognize whether you live in 2026 or
[12:53]whether you live in 36 after Hijra, look at their behavior with
[12:55]Ali son of Abu Talib.
[12:58]Come with me over here, my dear brothers and sisters.
[12:59]Let's begin over here.
[13:03]You'll see these hadiths one after another.
[13:04]Immedi all of you can see here translated by Muhamad Mahi Sharif
[13:12]English Arabic text volume 4 of Nasi if we come over here
[13:16]we'll see my dear brothers and sisters of course it's printed where
[13:22]in Lebanon in the year 2008 come with me to this hadith
[13:24]on page 178 or so okay so if we just keep going
[13:32]down you'll see over here 78.
[13:33]This chapter is called the sign of a hypocrite.
[13:38]Okay, look over here.
[13:39]The sign of a hypocrite.
[13:42]Hadith number 5030.
[13:44]Okay, all of you can see here that the prophet begins to
[13:47]talk about what the signs of the hypocrites are.
[13:49]Come with me on the sign of a hypocrite.
[13:52]Hadith number 5032.
[13:52]It's narrated on the authority of Ali that he said the messenger
[13:59]of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasall confirmed to me that none but a
[14:03]believer should love me and none but a hypocrite should hate me.
[14:06]Look at the Arabic all of you can see over here.
[14:20]Okay.
[14:20]So none but a believer loves me and none but a hypocrite
[14:26]doesn't matter male female related to the prophet not related to the
[14:30]prophet if you show hatred for Ali that is a sign that
[14:36]you are afra where is this this is now this again is
[14:40]seen in the bin my dear brothers and sisters come with me
[14:43]over here you could see the English translation of the mus of
[14:49]Im Ahmed bin Hel hadith number 1 to 138 80 as you
[14:52]could see over here volume one translated by edited by Hudal all
[14:58]of you come with me over here where is the head office
[15:01]of Dam the publishers prince Abdiz bin jalaw street riad kingdom of
[15:06]Saudi Arabia if we all go over here let's go to this
[15:13]hadith page 375 it is of course in the mid of Ahmed
[15:19]bin Hel and in the musnet of Im Ali Come to the
[15:22]bottom here.
[15:24]It was narrated that Ali said page 7 hadith number 731.
[15:26]It's narrated if we zoom in that Ali said the prophet assured
[15:35]me no one will love you but a believer and no one
[15:38]will hate you except what?
[15:43]Except that that person is a hypocrite.
[15:45]So we have two clear traditions here in Sunni literature.
[15:47]When you say to me, why am I Shia?
[15:50]Because I have a criteria.
[15:55]My criteria is anyone who loves Ali is a believer.
[15:57]Anyone who hates him, anyone who raises an army against him.
[16:03]Anyone who fights him, anyone who abuses him, my prophet said to
[16:08]me, is a hypocrite.
[16:07]that person is a or a and I will never follow the
[16:13]path of a I will follow the path of those who showed
[16:17]love of Ali and not those who hated him.
[16:20]Now the hate of Imam Ali normally when people talk about the
[16:26]hate of Imam Ali in the Sahabah they try and portray it
[16:28]that this hate happened many years after the prophet there's clashes between
[16:32]people 20 years after the prophet died and you know even even
[16:37]a few days after the prophet died there's clashes and that's where
[16:41]the hate begins on the contrary the hate of Ali began in
[16:43]the time of the prophet peace be upon him and his family
[16:48]not afterwards it's crazy to think that the Sahaba already hated one
[16:52]another and had envy of one another in the time of the
[16:55]prophet peace be upon because this glorious image that's portrayed that we
[17:00]have to be like the Sahabah but the Sahaba in the time
[17:04]of the prophet clearly there were disputes we all know about how
[17:11]Khaled abused and the prophet said do not abuse my companions you
[17:14]have amongst the Sahabah those who ran from battle which Abdman b
[17:18]reminds of man bin A and his caliphate that you were the
[17:22]one who ran away on the day of you have those who
[17:25]ran those who stayed amongst them hypocrites and so on and so
[17:28]forth but in the time of the prophet there is already a
[17:32]group who hate Ali now one may ask why the hate I
[17:33]would summize to say that number one Ali marrying fatheram is bound
[17:38]to bring some envy I think number two the prophet when he
[17:41]enters Medina all the Ansar and Muhamon are made brothers of one
[17:46]another and he makes Ali his brother I think that that brings
[17:48]a lot envy.
[17:50]The fact that the prophet doesn't enter Medina until Ali arrives from
[17:54]Mecca with the fawatam, I think that brings a lot of envy.
[17:56]And I think also Ali kills the fathers of some of these
[18:03]companions or their uncles at Badr and so on.
[18:05]And I think you know as much as a person tries to
[18:07]say that the of the of is going to leave somebody you
[18:13]and me both know that that remained.
[18:15]And there's another part of the equation.
[18:18]The who were freed on the opening of Mecca, the couple of
[18:22]thousand of them or so who were freed on the opening of
[18:25]Mecca, these are excons being freed.
[18:27]If we're going to be frank, even in Sunni literature, you'll see
[18:30]there is a difference between the muajarun and the ansar and the
[18:36]that some sunni theologians even said that the those who were freed
[18:40]on the day of Mecca, they could not even become they certainly
[18:43]did but they cannot become now the who are freed on the
[18:49]day of Mecca all expected to die.
[18:50]They had too much blood of Muslims on their hands from and
[18:53]so on and then the prophet says today the day of mercy.
[18:58]Now those they're going to want vengeance for a man who's killed
[19:01]their dad and their uncles and so on.
[19:03]So that's going to bring as well.
[19:05]So amongst others they all admit that listen amongst the Sahabah there
[19:09]were certainly people who had hatred for Ali.
[19:12]If we play clip number one and you'll see that this hatred
[19:15]of Ali normally this is the theory that's given in relation to
[19:20]the hatred of Ali um in Islamic history.
[19:21]Let's play clip number one.
[19:55]Allah.
[20:11]Now he pretty much there just admits that literally said to the
[20:18]prophet you are the one who claims to be the messenger of
[20:20]Allah and most people normally say that the hatred of Ali began
[20:26]with but the hatred of Ali doesn't begin at JL it begins
[20:29]in the lifetime of the companions of the prophet peace be upon
[20:34]him and his family.
[20:33]That's where really that hatred begins that we see in the lifetime
[20:39]of the prophet peace be upon him and his family.
[20:40]And I want to come to this hadith over here in Sah
[20:43]Bkari to prove to you that the first to really show hate
[20:45]to Ali were the Sahaba in the life of the prophet and
[20:49]the prophet has to actually calm them down because the envy is
[20:51]now over boiling.
[20:52]This is the towards the end of the life of prophet.
[20:55]Come with me over here.
[20:56]The translation of the meanings of Sah Bkari Arabic English volume 5
[20:59]hadith 3849 to 4473.
[21:02]My dear brothers and sisters, translated by Dr.
[21:05]Muhammad Muin Khan.
[21:07]All of you can see over here printed in July 1997 print
[21:10]supervised by Abd Malik Mujah.
[21:16]I want us to go to page 387 and you'll see that
[21:21]very early on just over here that in hadith 1350 Bates the
[21:24]prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the and I hated Ali.
[21:30]Read this again.
[21:40]The prophet sent Ali to get the from Khaled and Boreda says,
[21:47]"I hated Ali." Is this after Allah died?
[21:48]No.
[21:49]No.
[21:49]No.
[21:50]But wait, the prophet has already told us about the fact that
[21:56]a believer loves Ali and only hates Ali.
[21:58]But can I call Bored the Sahabaf?
[22:03]My criteria for who af is is their hate of Ali.
[22:07]It's simple.
[22:08]The prophet has given it is Sunni books.
[22:10]You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand it.
[22:12]Come back to me again.
[22:16]The prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the and I hated
[22:18]Ali and Ali had taken a bath after anexual act with a
[22:22]slave girl from the hums.
[22:23]I said to Khal, "Don't you see this Ali?" When we reached
[22:27]the prophet, I mentioned that to him.
[22:30]He said, "Oh, do you hate Ali?" And then he replied, I
[22:37]said, "Yes." He said, "Don't hate him for he deserves more than
[22:40]that from the look over him." So you could see already in
[22:51]this story, and we don't have to agree with all the parts
[22:53]of the story, but one part we certainly agree with.
[22:56]You've certainly got an issue with Ali.
[22:58]That hate is already there.
[23:01]The hate I can see even again in Jammed.
[23:04]Come with me over here.
[23:05]The English translation my dear brothers and sisters of compiled by Muhammadi
[23:10]volume 6 from hadith number 3291 to 3956 translated by Abu Khal.
[23:17]A hadith edited and referenced by Abu Zub Aliz.
[23:21]Final review by Islamic Research Section Dar Salam first edition November 2007
[23:29]supervised by who?
[23:29]Supervised by Abdul Malik Mujah.
[23:30]Come with me to hadith number 3726.
[23:34]Let's see my dear brothers and sisters what's going on over here.
[23:40]Come with me.
[23:39]Let's see the Sahaba's hate stroke envy of Ali son of Abu
[23:46]Tal in the time of the prophet not after.
[23:47]in the time just in case you thought all these sahab around
[23:50]the prophet were all very kind very nice to each other weren't
[23:55]envious of each other Allah revealed just to wake people up but
[23:58]anyway come back look over here hadith number 3726 jabar said the
[24:03]messenger of Allah called Ali on the day of the battle of
[24:07]and spoke privately with him so the people said his private conversation
[24:10]with his cousin has grown lengthy so the messenger of Allah said
[24:15]I did not speak privately with him rather Allah spoke privately ly
[24:19]with him.
[24:20]And the commentator here says then he says this hadith is and
[24:27]so on the envy they already got problems with him either because
[24:33]of his marriage to Fatama or because the prophet has made him
[24:37]his brother his exploits at war and killing a lot of their
[24:40]parents and that's why you see after the prophet dies suddenly the
[24:44]fangs are out suddenly they want to finish Ali his wife shortly
[24:50]after the prophet gone has died angry with the first Khalifa but
[24:55]they still want Ali and none wants Ali more than is but
[24:58]there's always an excuse given to Isa for why she hated Ali
[25:04]let's look at this academic in the states discussing when someone asks
[25:08]and Ali what's the issue between them that made wage war against
[25:12]Ali please play clip number two >> how much um influence did
[25:23]Aisha's hatred of Ali have to do with all of this?
[25:25]>> Well, very hard to tell.
[25:30]Um there there was clearly some tension between Ali and Aisha even
[25:34]when Muhammad was alive, right?
[25:34]Uh the story I told last time about the the the accusations
[25:37]of adultery, you know, Muhammad comes to Ali and he says he
[25:42]says, you know, what do you think I should do about this?
[25:45]And Ali says, well, you know, you really can't trust her.
[25:46]So, you really can't trust.
[25:47]Who knows?
[25:48]I mean, maybe she did.
[25:48]Maybe she didn't.
[25:49]You ought to just divorce her to be safe.
[25:53]Aisha never forgot that.
[25:53]She didn't like that very much.
[25:55]And of course, Aisha is the daughter of Abu Bak, right?
[26:00]And and Ali was so close to Muhammad, but Aisha was also
[26:02]so close to Muhammad in a sense.
[26:04]They had kind of a rivalry, you might say, or at least
[26:07]it's represented that way in the sources for Muhammad's affection, even though
[26:11]it was obviously very different kinds of affection.
[26:14]So, it's hard to say, it's very hard to sort out in
[26:16]the sources.
[26:18]Uh was there initially some kind of personal tension between Aisha and
[26:22]Ali?
[26:23]Uh or is this uh are these sort of stories and tensions
[26:26]kind of read back once you have the development of the Shiite
[26:32]perspective?
[26:33]A very hard thing to um to recognize.
[26:35]>> Professor Maria, I expected you to go deeper with that answer.
[26:41]You're a professor.
[26:41]I expected you to be able to open up on that answer.
[26:46]You say that Aisha hated Ali, which of course everybody agrees on.
[26:50]But you say that Aisha hated Ali, which of course everyone knows
[26:54]that she fought Ali.
[26:57]Now you say that Aisha hated Ali because Ali was the one
[26:59]who was telling the prophet when the prophet was uncertain about the
[27:02]incident of the if and the accusations of adultery.
[27:06]That yeah, it could be the case.
[27:07]Number one, as a do I believe in the incident of the
[27:12]if?
[27:13]That's open for question.
[27:12]Is it who's being accused?
[27:15]The Quran doesn't mention her name.
[27:17]Some wife of the prophet has been accused.
[27:19]Is it Aisha being accused by Medina or is it Aisha accusing
[27:22]Mary the Coptic?
[27:22]That's one for another night.
[27:26]Number two, why does the prophet need to ask Ali what he
[27:29]thinks if the prophet is receiving Wi-Fi emails from heaven?
[27:33]Number three is fought Ali later on.
[27:39]And of course the prophet had said very clearly that if you
[27:44]want to see the believer none will be a believer except they
[27:51]love Ali and those who have hate are.
[27:52]Okay.
[27:51]So we can't escape from that.
[27:54]But let me ask you when you turn around and say that
[28:00]Aisha hated Ali because Ali was willing to tell the prophet that
[28:03]yeah maybe she did commit adultery.
[28:05]What did Khadijah do to Aayisha for Aisha to resent Khadijah so
[28:10]much?
[28:11]Uh what did Fath do for Aisha to resent Fatima so much?
[28:14]You don't need to make a story of adultery for Aisha to
[28:18]hate you.
[28:18]Aisha can hate you when you're not even alive if she has
[28:23]an issue with you.
[28:26]Ask Maria or ask Zab in the story of or ask other
[28:27]wives.
[28:28]Each of them has felt the brunt of butisha is amongst those
[28:33]who we label hater of Ali and we've already seen what the
[28:37]hadith says about the haters of Ali led the most bloody of
[28:44]civil wars over here come with me my dear brothers and sisters
[28:48]the history of volume 16 the battle of jeal will be discussed
[28:53]the community divided today we always hear people say that you know
[28:58]what when you give lectures you shouldn't divide the community we're taking
[29:02]from the sunnah of about division of community is the one who
[29:07]was part like her dad in the division of the Muslim community
[29:10]yeah her dad and his friend at the election and their punchup
[29:16]with the ansar and then she in the battle of jl come
[29:19]back the history of not a shia book volume 16 the community
[29:25]divided translated by adrian brockett let's see over Here my dear brothers
[29:30]and sisters as you can see translated and annotated by Adrien Brockett
[29:35]State University of New York press all of us can see over
[29:38]here that 1997 State University of New York let's go here to
[29:46]page 52 I'm sure the title is clear for everybody who says
[29:49]did the Sahaba hate each other did the Sahaba fight each other
[29:54]come with me over here the caliphate of Ali Aisha's remark by
[29:59]Allah I will seek vengeance for the blood of man and her
[30:02]departure for Albas and Zuber and their followers.
[30:08]So here's the beautiful first 30 years of Islamic history dear brothers
[30:12]and sisters where we have over here the wife of the prophet
[30:15]and two of those promised Jenna about to go and fight another
[30:20]of those who is promised Jenna.
[30:21]Okay.
[30:22]Okay.
[30:23]So this is the beautiful early history that we have that we've
[30:25]been told this is the most glorious history that we've ever had.
[30:28]Now come back over here by Allah I will seek vengeance for
[30:32]the blood of and her departure for and their followers.
[30:34]And we cannot forget of course my dear brothers and sisters that
[30:38]was one of the most outspoken against like as we've seen earlier
[30:42]was outspoken but this is how history plays games.
[30:46]Let's come back.
[30:46]Okay.
[30:48]Now according to Ahmed Hussein his father also and Abdah a scholarly
[31:01]commentary scholar contemporary with the events as arrived at on her way
[31:07]back from visiting Mecca bin met her.
[31:07]He was bin Abbam but named after his mother.
[31:12]What is the matter?
[31:12]Aisha asked him.
[31:15]They killed Oman and then did nothing for eight nights.
[31:17]What did they do then?
[31:20]She asked.
[31:20]The people of Medina handled the affair by consensus and matters proceeded
[31:25]very well for them.
[31:29]They agreed upon Alib and Abi Alib by Allah.
[31:30]Shia replied, "Would that the sky were overturned if the command is
[31:36]decided in favor of your leader?
[31:38]Take me back.
[31:40]Take me back." So she departed for Mecca saying by Allah man
[31:45]has been killed unjustly and I will seek revenge for his bloodb
[31:53]said to her how is that by Allah you were the first
[31:56]to incline the blade against and were saying kill footnote 362 an
[32:05]insulting go down nickname it means hyena used to call Hyena Tabari
[32:11]page 52 volume 16 Amarak Shawani 2026 at exactly 7:40 p.m.
[32:22]and 31 seconds.
[32:25]Come back.
[32:28]By Allah, you were the first to incline the blade against and
[32:34]was saying kill for he has become a disbeliever.
[32:36]Aisha according to calledman hyena and she said kill the disbeliever.
[32:49]It's right in front of you.
[32:53]Volume 16 of the Shia Sahaba.
[32:53]It was who taught us.
[33:05]They asked him to repent.
[33:09]She replied and then they killed him.
[33:11]Aisha herself was the one who was the cause of the biggest
[33:16]fitnner in early Islamic history.
[33:18]a fitna that had Sahaba fighting each other and the poor Sunni
[33:24]world is taught that they all loved each other and then you
[33:28]make up a Yemeni Jew in the equation you add a bit
[33:30]of spice over here you throw the idea of well it happens
[33:37]20,000 people die it happens you know things happen what a mess
[33:41]what a mess mess Yes.
[33:48]If you ask any sunni in the world, what do you think
[33:55]of binasar?
[33:53]They'll sayar binas.
[34:02]No one will doubt the position of do they?
[34:05]Everyone says is amazing.
[34:08]No one's like come with me here.
[34:10]Bkari.
[34:10]If we go to Bkari, I want to go volume five again
[34:12]of Bkari.
[34:13]Look at what says the translation of the meanings of Sah Bkari
[34:17]Arabic English volume 5 hadith number 3849 to 4473 translated by Dr.
[34:26]Muhammad Khan, come with me to 3772.
[34:27]Amar bin Yaser is asked, "What's going on?
[34:30]Ali is I thought all of you guys are like best mates
[34:33]and you're going to heaven.
[34:34]You're going to all sit by rivers of milk and chill with
[34:38]each other.
[34:37]Why are like thousands of us here killing each other like what's
[34:42]going on, bro?" And someone has a good right to ask that
[34:44]question.
[34:45]So when you come to hadith 3,772, Amar says something amazing.
[34:48]Look at the page 75 alkari volume 5 the virtues of the
[34:53]companions of the prophet come down over here hadith 3772 narrated Abu
[34:58]when Ali sent and Hassan to the people of Kufa to urge
[35:01]them to fight Ali sent and to urge people to fight you
[35:09]have to choose whose side you're on the side of Ali or
[35:13]the side of there is the difference between and I've summarized it
[35:17]in 15 seconds come Back when Ali sent Hassan, Hassan by the
[35:25]way is who?
[35:24]Imm Hassan is the grandson of the prophet.
[35:27]So his wife, the prophet's wife was ready to take on who
[35:34]was ready to take on his grandson.
[35:35]Come back.
[35:36]When Ali sent Hamar and Hassan to the people of Kufa to
[35:39]urge them to fight, Hammar addressed them saying, "I know that she
[35:42]is the wife of the prophet in this world and in the
[35:46]hereafter, but Allah has put you to test whether you will follow
[35:52]him, i.e.
[35:50]Allah or her." Look at the footnote.
[35:56]Allah's orders to obey the imam and for the ladies to stay
[36:02]at home.
[36:07]What a shambles.
[36:10]Absolute shambles.
[36:10]Wallah leads an army to fight Ali.
[36:16]But they're both in Jenna.
[36:16]One sidear is another.
[36:17]Amar is just like listen she's a test whether you follow Allah's
[36:22]command and follow Im Ali or whether you follow her.
[36:23]you're either obsessed with her or you're gonna follow who is truly
[36:30]Allah's guide on earth.
[36:30]It was a very difficult time for Imam Ali that period we
[36:35]underestimate it and we're a few nights away from his shahad and
[36:37]inshallah I'll see all of you Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Zah
[36:44]where we'll honor three nights the shahada of the Amir here in
[36:51]London.
[36:49]It was a very difficult difficult period for Imam Ali Alisam.
[36:56]Tabari narrates how Im Ali died.
[36:59]But he says something interesting.
[37:00]Aisha was happy on the day that he died.
[37:05]Aisha was happy on the day that Im Ali died.
[37:10]Four years after the battle of J, Imam Ali was assassinated.
[37:16]Come with me over here.
[37:17]The history of volume 17.
[37:23]The first civil war translated by GR Hing.
[37:24]All of you come with me over here.
[37:29]As you can see, State University of New York press.
[37:30]I want all of you to come to page 224.
[37:36]Look over here.
[37:41]They try and always say to us that Muawi and A were
[37:45]also to be assassinated that night.
[37:47]and Imam Ali.
[37:49]This is all nonsense.
[37:48]Muawi and Amaz firmly behind the whole plot, but they tried to
[37:54]make it out.
[37:53]Someone tried to attack Muawi and someone tried to attack.
[37:57]Someone tried to attack Imm Ali.
[37:59]They're behind the whole plot.
[37:59]Anyway, over here we see my dear brothers and sisters, look over
[38:02]here, the first civil war, page 224, Tabari, volume 17.
[38:09]When news of Ali's death reached Aisha, footnote 898, she said, "And
[38:15]she threw down her staff and settled upon her place of abode
[38:23]like the traveler, happy to return home." Let's go to footnote 899.
[38:33]If you see that over here, hing comments says that the verse
[38:40]is proverbial and is cited to indicate pleasure at something.
[38:45]Come back again.
[38:47]When news of Ali's death reached Aisha, she said, "And she threw
[38:51]down her staff and settled upon her place of abode, like the
[38:57]traveler happy to return home." 899 says that the verse is proverbial
[39:00]and is cited to indicate pleasure at something.
[39:10]She asked, "Come back.
[39:13]Who had killed him?" And when told that it was a man
[39:17]of Murad, she said, "Even though he was far away, there has
[39:19]announced his death.
[39:21]A young man in whose mouth there was no dust." Zanab, the
[39:32]daughter of Abuam said, "Are you saying this about Ali?" And Aisha
[39:35]replied, "I'm forgetful and if I forget, remind me.
[39:42]Abi Mori said about the killing of Ali.
[39:44]You upon whom be blessings.
[39:48]We have struck Abul Hassan with a blow to the head and
[39:50]he was split apart.
[39:52]We have removed kingship from his concerns with the blow of a
[39:56]sword since he waxed high and mighty.
[39:57]We are noble and powerful at dawn when death puts on and
[40:02]wraps itself in death.
[40:03]He also said, "I never saw a dowy provided by any generous
[40:08]man, whether Arab or other like that of Kotami, 3,000 dirhams, a
[40:11]slave and a singing girl, and the stabbing of Ali with the
[40:17]piercing blade.
[40:15]There is no dowy, however costly, more costly than Ali, and no
[40:23]killing above that performed by Ib Muljim." Abu Dali said, "Indeed say
[40:26]to Mu, "And may those who gloat not rejoice.
[40:30]Do you afflict us in the month of fasting with the loss
[40:32]of the best of all men?
[40:35]You have killed the best of those who ride mounts and put
[40:37]the saddle upon them, the best of those who sail the seas,
[40:41]the best of those who wear sandals and make them, the best
[40:42]of those who recite the math and the mubin.
[40:45]If you looked at the face of Abul Hussein, you saw the
[40:51]full moon that he delighted those who looked.
[40:57]There's certain times where you have to hold back, you know, when
[41:02]you're giving lectures and speeches because of the against and those who
[41:13]found pleasure.
[41:14]But the prophet summarized it.
[41:16]Only a mafik hates Ali.
[41:18]And that's why you'll see clip number three clear as day.
[41:23]The hatred and the cursing of Ali.
[41:26]Please play clip number three.
[41:39]Fore!
[41:40]Foreign!
[41:41]Foreign!
[42:01]this sheh he highlights that he has a problem with the senate
[42:05]of Muslim and Bkari and I'm sure they were the best things
[42:07]after the Quran so but there are people who can doubt it
[42:12]but anyway you come over here sah Muslim you'll see that Muawi
[42:15]of course was the king of the institution of cursing Ali can
[42:21]you curse Sahabi will say disgusting.
[42:24]Go and teach Muawi that before you teach me.
[42:28]English translation of Sah Muslim compiled by Abul Muslim Abdul Hussein Muslim
[42:33]and Haj volume 6 from hadith number 5646-6722.
[42:35]I want us to all come over here.
[42:40]Chapter 4.
[42:38]You can all see the virtues of Abi Talib on page 200
[42:43]and at the top 261.
[42:44]The virtues of the companions the virtues of Alibab hadith 2404.
[42:49]It was narrated from that.
[42:51]His father said the messenger of Allah said to Ali, you are
[42:56]to me like Harun was to Mus.
[42:57]We all know that hadith.
[42:58]Everybody knows it.
[43:01]Now come over here.
[43:01]In hadith 622032 was narrated from the son of his father said
[43:07]ordered saying what kept you from cursing Abu Tab now cursing Ali
[43:15]fighting Ali being at pleasure with hating Ali.
[43:16]It's unbelievable what these Sahaba left as a legacy.
[43:21]Wall.
[43:22]No one has been whitewashed and given the best rep like these
[43:25]guys.
[43:26]Look at the hadith, man.
[43:27]Look at it.
[43:30]Abu Sufyan's kids all back in power.
[43:33]Come back.
[43:35]It was narrated from that his father said ordered saying, "What kept
[43:39]you from cursing Abu Tur?" He said it's because of three things
[43:42]that I remember that the messenger of Allah said that I will
[43:43]never curse him because if even one of them were for me
[43:48]that would be darer to me than red camels is one of
[43:52]the 10 going to heaven.
[43:54]He says look you're asking me why don't I curse Abu?
[43:56]There's three merits three he has I wish that I had.
[44:01]What are they?
[44:02]I heard the messenger of Allah say to him when he appointed
[44:04]him in charge during his absence when he went on one of
[44:07]his campaigns and Ali said to him oh messenger of Allah are
[44:08]you leaving me behind with the woman and the children?
[44:09]The messenger of Allah said to him, "Does it not please you
[44:13]to be to me as Harun was to Musa except that there
[44:16]will be no prophet after me, a prophethood after me?" And I
[44:18]heard him say on the day of, "I shall give the flag
[44:21]to a man who loves Allah and his messenger." And Allah and
[44:23]his messenger love him.
[44:25]We were all hoping for it, but he said, "Call Ali for
[44:28]me." And of course, the third one when this verse was revealed
[44:30]about let us call our sons and your sons.
[44:36]The messenger of Allah called Ali Fat Mass Hussein said, "Oh Allah,
[44:39]these are my family." So we see over here, my dear brothers
[44:42]and sisters, Muawia instituting the abuse on Im Ali.
[44:47]A few hadiths later, you'll see again Muawia asks another Sahabi, what's
[44:52]stopping him from cursing Imm Ali.
[44:55]If you see over here, hadith number 2409, it was narrated that
[45:01]Sahb said a man from the family of Maruan was appointed as
[45:06]governor of in Medina.
[45:06]Look at how a sunnah continued appointed as governor of Medina and
[45:12]he called bin and ordered him to insult Ali but refused.
[45:15]He said if you refuse to do it then at least say
[45:20]may Allah curse Abu Tab.
[45:20]Sah said no name is dearer to Ali than Abu Tab.
[45:25]And he used to feel happy when he was called by it.
[45:29]Sahabi asked Sahabi, "Why don't you curse?" Sahabi asked, "Sahabi, why don't
[45:33]you curse?" Muawia instituted the cursing of Ali.
[45:35]And then you'll get this sheh in clip number five, not four.
[45:40]The last clip, clip number five, you'll get this Sheh with Muawia
[45:44]ordering the cursing of Ali.
[45:48]With Muawia FIGHTING ALI WITH ALLAH SAYS, "Whoever hates Ali is a
[45:51]hypocrite." You'll get a sheh like this sitting I don't know where
[45:53]in America or somewhere there talking in like a Sufi style, mystical
[45:57]style, spiritual style.
[46:01]Listen to the nonsense.
[46:00]Please play clip number five had a huge effect on his generation.
[46:12]He is the sheh of Salahadin Aubi.
[46:13]He is the sheh of Nuredin Zeni.
[46:15]He is the liberator of Palestine.
[46:17]He is the liberator of Syria.
[46:19]He's the one who liberates Jerusalem.
[46:21]He's a huge figure in history.
[46:24]And once this um rafidi rafid are people who reject the sahaba
[46:29]this rafidi came to him he said oh abd you're from mashallah
[46:35]you're huseni and you're so great and you've had such an effect
[46:39]on our time.
[46:41]What do you say about morawya?
[46:43]Ah that's what you want to ask right?
[46:46]What do you say about Morawi?
[46:51]Abdul Kadalani said Abdul Kadani he said I am not worth the
[46:54]dust under the feet of the camel of Muawia when he made
[46:59]jihad with the prophet sallall alaihi wasallam.
[47:00]That's true.
[47:02]He's not exaggerating.
[47:04]He said I'm not worth the dust under the feet of the
[47:07]camel of Muawia when he made jihad with the prophet.
[47:10]Case closed.
[47:13]Wes and fellow Wesnella he doesn't make claims right beware of the
[47:18]maker of claims yeah says I'm not worth the dust under Muawi
[47:33]on the day of are you not worth the dust under which
[47:37]one this overall I even forgot the sheh's name sitting there I'm
[47:41]not worth the dust But you can't generalize.
[47:47]I suppose clip number four will show us that we admitted that
[47:51]was asking people to curse Ali.
[47:53]Sahaba were cursing each other.
[47:55]Play clip number four.
[48:10]That's what we should do.
[48:22]Let's see.
[49:16]summarized it well very very well.
[49:22]None loves Ali but a believer and none hates him but that
[49:25]they're a hypocrite.
[49:24]Couldn't be more clearer than that.
[49:37]Hey, away.
[50:09]Salamore.
[50:39]That's hot.
[51:03]Keep follow
