[0:04]Muslim for the love of Allah for the beauty of the Quran

[0:07]i didn't become a Muslim to go around shouting at people and

[0:10]telling them this and that and this is anger this isn't love

[0:15]it's meant to be a religion of love these guys they keep

[0:19]talking about peace but they're going around yelling at people telling them

[0:23]that if telling Muslim men who walking out with just a mustache

[0:25]if they don't shave their mustache and grow a beard they're going

[0:29]to go to the hellfire it's it it didn't make sense to

[0:33]me after after I used my logic it took a while to

[0:37]use my logic cuz I was so romanticized by this whole brotherhood

[0:41]i was taken in by it it took me a while to

[0:45]realize hang on a second what they're doing here isn't right this

[0:49]isn't Islam this isn't how we're meant to act um they'd say

[0:54]that um you'd have to um they say you have to be

[1:00]like Omar be like Omar when someone goes to Omar and ask

[1:05]them a question you hit them and say "Do it be like

[1:08]that that's who you must look up to." And I'm like well

[1:11]why aren't we looking up to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam why are

[1:13]we looking up to Omar why and then when I started questioning

[1:16]that that's when they started getting angry at me when I started

[1:20]questioning about Omar about Abu Bakr or about then that's when they

[1:25]started to push me away and start getting angry at me and

[1:30]quite aggressive and quite they didn't get violent they didn't they looked

[1:34]like they were going to get violent very angry up in your

[1:37]face making you feel very intimidated when I first became Muslim obviously

[1:42]I was told the Shia um they worship Ali and they uh

[1:47]they hate Aisha and they hate Abu Bakr they hate Omar they

[1:52]hate these beautiful people they hate Muawa and in those days they'd

[1:57]be saying Mawa and then they'd be saying after his name and

[2:01]I didn't know anything about the Islamic history like it was only

[2:05]after 2 years of being a Muslim that I started looking at

[2:10]the history of it um so when they started telling me about

[2:14]these people to especially in that school you're taught to love Aisha

[2:17]completely she's the mother of the believers and um when I heard

[2:21]oh they're cursing Aisha they're doing this they're doing that and then

[2:26]they'd show you lectures by very very extreme people who would say

[2:31]that you have to celebrate the death of Aisha and people like

[2:35]that so these extreme Shia lecturers they'd find this one lecturer who's

[2:39]nowhere near mainstream very out of the community but they'd find this

[2:44]one person and then they say all Shia think they teach you

[2:49]be violent be angry get angry with them uh intimidate them and

[2:53]they tell you this and they don't want you to ever meet

[2:56]a Shia they never want
