[0:00]my name is s I was born in Yemen in 1991 in

[0:05]the southern part in Adan um I was born to an all

[0:10]all kind of Sunni family you know Generations upon Generations upon generations

[0:14]of sunnis and in fact within really wasn't interesting to me I

[0:17]just knew that they were Muslims and whatever um obviously I've heard

[0:21]of misconceptions you know all of these crazy stories that I found

[0:26]to be completely false and fabricated so but I never I never

[0:29]actually I can't say I felt any sort of hatred or prejudice

[0:34]against the sh has even before the main book that kind of

[0:39]sealed the deal for me was then I was guided and a

[0:43]lot of people say that when when they was talking about Shia

[0:46]and stuff cuz that that book kind of showed me how to

[0:51]prove the Shia beliefs through Sunni meth through sun resources and that

[0:55]like when I read that I was think I literally read it

[0:59]in a date like that's how into it into it I was

[1:02]and I was like that's it like I can't you can't deny

[1:05]it like all all it's not like these Hadith are you know

[1:08]come out coming out of nowhere they're coming out ofah books so

[1:12]that for me was like the main kind of thing other than

[1:17]that I was on um like is Islamic sites online and obviously

[1:22]I would go to Shia websites as opposed to you know credible

[1:28]for me so I had to go through you know to the

[1:31]source of it and find the information from there and when I

[1:34]did kind of made sense to me my friend recommended this book

[1:37]and then um I saw her and she gave it to me

[1:41]and then I read it and I started like because because of

[1:45]his because of the s's use of like Hadith that came from

[1:49]Sun books it got me really into it I was like if

[1:53]these Hadith are in new books then why have they been overlooked

[1:57]um so I just start there reading the whole they I literally

[2:00]blocked out the whole world my family everyone and I just sat

[2:03]there reading it didn't take as long as I expected um and

[2:07]it just kind of everything made so much sense to me this

[2:13]was a kind of it was all based on logic rather than

[2:18]emotion you know um I could I could be arrogant about it

[2:23]and say you know I could be arrogant and pride and proud

[2:27]and say that okay I this and I know it's true but

[2:31]I'm not going to do it because cuz I can't say that

[2:34]I was wrong this all my all my life but um like

[2:37]when when you're searching for some for the truth you have to

[2:40]let go of pride and arrogance and you have to accept the

[2:44]truth even if it's swimming against the the ties of you know

[2:48]social Conformity or family traditions or anything it was I kind of

[2:52]read it I mean I can't say I convert first I don't

[2:56]like that word converted cuz you know I'm still a Muslim and

[2:58]I wasn't
