An enema administration is a technique used to stimulate stool evacuation. It is a liquid treatment most commonly used to relieve severe constipation. In today’s age, it’s no longer a common treatment. In Islamic law, there are actually conflicting hadiths on this issue. Hence we have to take these hadiths and reconcile them. There are three categories of hadiths in relation to this: 1. It’s permissible 2. It’s prohibited 3. “If the enema being used is liquid, it invalidates the fast. If it’s solid, it doesn’t invalidate the fast.” The third hadith solves the contradiction. Hence the fatwa of scholars follow the third category. If a fasting person is required to apply liquid enema due to medical reason, then it’s not haram but his fast will be broken and he will need to make up that fast.

فرخ باستاني شاب ايراني من طبقة فقيرة . بعد تخرجه في دار الفنون بطهران سافر الى باريس لاكمال دراسته . كانت باريس بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية تعيش ظروفاً صعبة . وهذه الحال تضغط بشدة على فرخ . يتعرف من خلال حصول بعض الاحداث على فتاة ايرانية فرنسية تدعى بلانش من اب فرنسي وام ايرانية . يتزوج فرخ من بلانش وينجح في الحصول على وظيفة سكرتير لـ حسن تقي زادة سفير ايران آنذاك في باريس بين 1933 -1934 . وعندما يعود فرخ باستاني الى ايران يحرر تقي زادة رسالة الى علي اصغر حكمت وزير الثقافة والمعارف يوصيه فيها ان يوظّف فرخ باستاني في دوائر الدولة . وحكمت ايضاً يوصي محمود جم وزير الداخلية بفرخ وعليه يُعين فرخ باستاني بصفة قائم مقام لمدينة صحرواية صغيرة اسمها سامان . بعد وصوله الى المدينة يعمد فرخ بعد فترة الى تخريب النسيج والبنية التقليدية للمدينة ليحل محلها شارع حديث ومتاجر جديدة. تواجد زوجته الفرنسية في المدينة الصغيرة الدينية مع الايام يحدث تغييرات في المدينة. بعد فترة ومع صدور قرار نزع الحجاب بالاجبار عن النساء، تحصل احداث جديدة في المدينة ...
