ليس لي سواك .. يا مجلس الحسين
I have no other than you O’ memorial of Hussain
إنني اراك .. في دمعي و الحنين
I see you in my tears and yearning
دمعتي فِداك ..والروح و اليدين
May my tear, soul, and palms be sacrificed for you
خذني في هواك .. خذني ايا حسين
Take me in your love, take me O’ Hussain

شهرك المُحرّم .. لو يهل علينه
When the month of Muharram arrives
نحسب الثّواني .. من قبل يجينه
We count the seconds for its occurrence

جينا يا إمامي .. لو تحن علينه
We’ve come O’ Imam, pleading you to be compassionate to us
خادمك تجهّز .. والدمع بيدينه
Your servant has prepared himself with tears in his palms

حسين .. كل الألــم
Hussain is all our woe
حسين .. نوح الخدم
Hussain is the wails of the servants
حسين .. صدره انهشم
Hussain’s chest was crushed

من يجيني شهرك .. كلشي بيه يحزن
When your month devours, everything within me is anguished
و حُجةْ الله اسمع .. للمصيبه أذّن
I hear Allah’s emissary declaring the calamity

بس طلب يمولاي؟ .. ( دمعه ليّه تضمَن! )
Master, I have one request, can you ensure my tears?
دمعه في مصابك .. بالحشر تُـثـمّـن
A tear upon your calamity is weighty in the hereafter

حسين .. صاح الملك
“Hussain” the angel cried
حسين .. يبچي الفلك
“Hussain” the universe weeps
حسين .. خُذني إلك
Hussain, take me to you

للخدامه قلبك .. هوّه من دعاني
When your heart invited me to your servitude
و صعبه يا إمامي .. ابتعد ثواني
It is difficult for me to be away from you for mere seconds

( عايش بمحرم ) .. و القى بيه اماني
I live in Muharram, and I find my wishes within it
( بمجلسك يمولاي .. احفظه مكاني )
In your memorial, preserve my spot

حسين .. قلبي اطمأن
Hussain, my heart is reassured
حسين .. حان الحزن
Hussain, anguish has devoured
حسين .. كل شي يون
“Hussain”, everything has wailed

( ليتني بجوارك ) .. احضر المآتم
I wish I was by your side, attending the memorials
واحچي يم ضريحك .. جيتك آنا خادم
I’d utter by your shrine “I’ve come to you as your servant”

اوقف اعلى بابك .. بزحمةْ العوالم
I’d stand by your door in the congestion of crowds
يا عسى اجي لك .. دايم ادعي دايم
I wish to come to you, that is my permanent supplication

حسين .. قلبي استعد
Hussain, my heart has prepared itself
حسين .. حزني انعقد
Hussain, my anguish was set
حسين .. انته السند
Hussain, you’re my aid
